What is a pet peeve of yours when it comes to the level up or hypergamy community?

To be honest, I probably could make a list, but currently I really dislike when a woman who is on her level up journey or whatever has some weird tendency to fully believe in the stereotypes of other woman in other cultures while also dating the men from those cultures. It's no secret that with this whole hypergamy movement there has been an increase in interest in Asian and Arab men. I find it pathetic when I hear women talk about how easy it is for them to attract men from those cultures because apparently the women from those cultures aren't enough. The number of times I see women posting on different platforms that those women are too submissive, they don't have a backbone, maybe not highly educated, and whatever other bullshit they can think of is endless. It's also the quickest way to figure out someone isn't living the life they are preaching, or they are dealing with a man who is manipulating them into thinking they are special. Women from these cultures know how to handle the men better than you do because of understanding the nuances. Majority of the time these women are also educated, demanding of respect, and are not some submissive pushovers like some people like to paint them as. It's super weird to me when women feel the need to trash other women while making themselves seem special. It reeks of insecurity. People who are uncultured and haven't really experienced the world tend to think in black and white. Take girls who speak like this with a grain of salt.

i think if you ask atsumu if he’d still love you if you were a worm one night before bed, he’d get all excited and turn to face you with this huge smile and be like “I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR YA TO ASK ME! I’VE THOUGHT ABOUT IT A LOT!” and go on to explain his plan for two different scenarios- one where you get turned into a worm in front of him via wizard/warlock/witch/spell user/some curse, and one where you turn into a worm overnight and he’s not sure where tf you are in the morning bc he wasn’t there to see it happen.

he then goes on to proudly explain that in the first scenario he’d build you this little portable terrarium and carry you around while he finds a cure for you. and he’d take such good care of you.

in the second scenario he freaks out about you being gone, but comes to the conclusion that he’d somehow eventually realize that you were the worm he found on your pillow that morning and take good care of you and work tirelessly to find a cure as well. he tells you about the terrarium he’d build you in extreme detail. you’d apparently be living a luxury life worms could only dream of, according to him. no birds are getting you while you’re under his care. (<- his exact words.) he’ll get you the premium dirt and a huge fish tank.

so short answer is yes, he would absolutely still love you if you were a worm and he would go above and beyond for you.

you’re touched of course, and also very tempted to find a worm to put on your pillow before he wakes up and hide in the bathroom tomorrow morning to scare him a bit.

According to NBC here in the US, the missing titanic sub has been found. As debris. Off the bow of the Titanic wreckage.

And it looks like the sub suffered what we all suspected, and what was undoubtedly the more merciful of the two options: a catastrophic implosion from the pressure.

Also, more info has come to light about the fishing trawler with the hundreds of migrants that sank cataclysmically off the coast of Greece, indicating that the greek coast guard knew about the vessel AND how much trouble the vessel was in, and were towing it at a speed that made it capsize, at which point they unhooked the tow line and watched the trawler sink without helping the passengers to safety. Despite a bunch of other ships trying to help as well throughout the whole ordeal.

So a lot of people are dead, all because of regulations (and the lack thereof) regarding sea-faring vessels and rescue protocols. People shouldnt be allowed to make a business charging a ton of money for a ride on an uncertified, unsafe, un-seaworthy ship going deep into the ocean with no distress beacon or tether to the mothership. People also shouldnt be allowed to enact laws that criminalize the ferrying of refugees, which then force the refugees to hitch rides on fishing trawlers, and which also prevent people from helping those fishing trawlers full of refugees due to fear of legal consequences.

Hopefully BOTH of these events spark changes on an international scale in terms of what is legally allowed to be sailed, who is legally allowed to be the passengers, and what the rescue protocols are in the event of disaster for any seafaring vessel, illegal or not. It shouldnt be just the global 1% who get 24/7 search parties and remote-operated submersibles helping rescue them.

I get the whole raise your standards stuff and women talking about how you should avoid dates that are low effort, I really do understand it, but what if you really like coffee and ice cream dates? I'm torn because I want both.

You can have both.

If you want coffee, ice cream, moments where you eat fast food while talking in the car, or whatever else that is considered as low effort then you can have it. Not as a date though. I think so many people are putting emphasis on dates and are completely forgetting about the concept of quality time. In a serious relationship, there are going to be moments where you do little things here and there that aren't super extravagant and is going to be more relaxed. Moments where you are cuddling on the couch while watching a movie, dancing in the kitchen, having an hour to spare for the both of you so you guys quickly decide to get some coffee and go on a walk, and maybe even get some ice cream. Quality time is important but its different then dates. Date nights are a good for long term couples to keep the spark alive but a large part of the reason for that is because there is more effort put in, more romantic gestures, couples will decide to wear something a bit cuter than what they are usually wearing, maybe even something their significant other likes, they'll spray cologne and perfume on themselves, and all that helps remind the couple that they are still desired. For me personally, I like movies, and would love something low effort that just consists of staying home, ordering food, and cuddling while a movie plays, but I don't like to view it as a date. If a guy wanted date night to incorporate a movie, then I would only consider it a date if it was dinner and a movie combo or something similar that shows some effort and planning. See? You can have both.
