My Dad’s funeral on Tuesday was a beautiful service. We had a piper play the bagpipes throughout and dad’s favourite songs ‘Grannies Heighland Hame’, ‘Oh Danny Boy’ & ‘Trees’ playing during the DVD photo memories tribute. Very moving. Being a Scotsman and avid storyteller, the family had many stories to recount in his memory. So very appreciative of my down south and Perth friends who made it to Mandurah on the day ~ thankyou. 🙏 Dad would have loved to have seen everyone who was there and he would have been very proud of the send off we created for him. Now trying to come to terms with the tremendous loss in our lives...it will likely take a lifetime.
