first off, sorry for the long wait. i had less time than i expected over the holidays. and i hope you had happy holiday!

kinda went for a double whammy on this one since it qualifies for both request ideas. i did consider drawing gonk droid since the super gonk droid red brick power was my absolute favorite as a kid, but technically, hunter's who dragged me down this rabbit hole since i wouldn't have considered myself a star wars fan as a kid (i mean i still don't know if i'd consider myself one?)

yeah i'm gonna admit it: what i second guess the most/most insecure about is anatomy. the cute sketches, armor, and bulky clothes are just excuses to avoid drawing proper anatomy. i only have myself to blame since i never practiced it :l i had to crack out the dusty anatomy books for this one

AHH YES!! HOLIDAY SHENANIGANS WITH DOTTORE AND THE SEGMENTS!! <3 Ah you would have to be the one to convince him to do all this stuff... honestly, he considers the holiday spirit and traditions rather a waste of time and doesn't see the point, but, you look so happy and excited! And you've gotten little Zandy on your side too, telling him all the stories and sweet things people do on Christmas. So now he has two gremlins begging him for just a little bit, the tiniest touch of Christmas decoration. Fine.

Admittedly, gift-giving is not one of the segments' strong points, their idea of gifts is rather... well, very Dottore-like, if you know what I mean. But, you still treasure anything they give you, so they don't have that much of a problem! (Though you probably shouldn't answer their question if they ask you what you want. Because then you'll end up with like a dozen different copies of the same gift.) Also, they're very competitive when it comes to this. It's like a battle to see whose gift you liked the best, so please try to love all of them equally because you don't want to deal with an overly gloating segment. (Bb Zandy definitely does that!! Clever little boy taking advantage of the chaos to give his favorite person their gift! Ahh he probably did something handmade like a storybook for you and was worried that it wouldn't be as good since it has no monetary value but, you reassured him you love it dearly.)

NOOOO Prime being mean to the Puffttores as usual!! He picks the lil guys up by that strand of blue hair and hooks them to the tree... and watches as they miserably fail to get free... you immediately unhook the poor babies. If you think about it, your gift is probably like, the first gift they've ever received before. So they are ANTSY about what possibly it could be. One segment was caught trying to open his gift and you gave him a swift scolding. (AHH the image of you carefully wrapping all of their gifts and adding their name tag to each is sooo!!)

Mistletoe traps are a must as well. The minute you jokingly tell them about the tradition of kissing under it, suddenly they are placed in the most random areas of the usually grim lab. You brought this upon yourself.

You also bake some different sweets for them on Christmas morning as well! You leave the trays to cool for a few minutes but when you come back, everything is already gone. Sigh.

Chosen aired for BTVS season 7, episode 22. This was the series finale for BTVS. It was the 144th episode of BTVS.

This was the last appearance of many Buffyverse characters, including Buffy, Dawn, Xander, and Willow. As well as Giles, Faith, Anya, Kennedy, Rona, and Robin Wood.

Since ATS S4 had ended earlier in May, the only Buffyverse characters that would appear again would be those who are in ATS S5. (S5 would be the last season of ATS.)

(Technically several characters also appear in Buffy books and comics, but this site only considers the TV series.)

A "Love Letter" To Taylor Swift

Dear Taylor Swift,

I'm just going to get right to it. You've changed my life. (And the lives of countless others.)

But I still remember getting a karaoke machine for my 6th birthday, back in 2008. Along with the karaoke machine, I got some karaoke CD's. One of those was for your debut album.

And I don't remember all of the details. But once I listened to your songs for the first time, I never stopped.

I felt like I wasn't alone for the very first time.

I was going through a lot. And my family was pretty great, but none of my family was my age. And that was very lonely.

But your music became my safe haven. I learned the lyrics to every word on that cd and sang them every chance I got.

And as you kept releasing music, I stayed up to date as much as I could without a phone or anything.

And I learned so much just singing in that room. I learned that I could do anything, because I saw your dreams all coming true through hard work.

And since I was so young and naive, I wanted to do exactly what you did. When people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I'd say "the next Taylor Swift."

And I grew up and realized that 1, there's only one Taylor Swift, 2, I want to be the first me, and 3, I'd never survive the life of a celebrity. Oh, and also that I don't actually sing very well. 😅

But I watched you do so many amazing things.

And then came Reputation Era.

I had a phone when your accounts all blacked out. So I was able to really be there for the entire thing.

I remember when I heard, "why? Oh, because she's dead" for the first time and freaking out online. Seeing you in concert. Getting merch.

And so much more, but I don't wanna go on forever.

And now, over 15 years since I first got that karaoke CD. And things have changed so much. For both of us. In different ways, but still both of us.

And I don't know where I would be now if I lived in some alternate universe where you didn't exist. But I know it would be a lot worse.

You gave me an outlet when everything became too much. You became my inspiration. You became my hope.

And I can never thank you enough.

For being unafraid to go accomplish your dreams, showing me and so many other little kids that we could do the same. For giving us music that we can connect to so well that it has saved lives by making people feel less alone.

Thank you for being you.

Here's to (hopefully) 15+ more years.
