Hello, hello!

Welcome to the blog, we're still around!

The main focus is Kingdom Hearts, including the mobile games, but we also take asks for TWEWY/NEO and FF15. As usual, it's yours truly -Mod Demyx- running things around here, feel free to use any pronouns and nicknames when addressing me, it's all chill!

I.

Askbox will always remain open! You're all welcome to drop by for chitchat, to drop prompts, theories, heartcanons... And remember, this blog is not spoiler free! Asks are not answered in order, I generally go straight for those who catch my eye and delete those I don't want to reply.

II.

This blog takes requests for all KH games! But please, specify which version of the character you'd like for me to write, such as using their proper names (ie: Isa, instead of Saix) and from the specific game (ie: BbS Isa, KH3 Isa). Otherwise, I'll write for their most recent versions! You're also welcome to request for TWEWY/NEO TWEWY, plus Final Fantasy 15! I've decided to drop FF7 and it's remake due to lack of interest on those games from my part.

III.

Reader based prompts will always use gender neutral pronouns and be as vague as possible, so that everyone can feel included. The only exception to this are LGTBQ+ prompts (ie: Larxene comforting a dysphoric S/O, Sora reacting to you coming out as a lesbian, etc) Any requests asking for general female or male readers will be ignored and deleted!

IV.

When requesting a specific type of reader, please refrain from using characters from other media as reference (ie: a reader who acts like Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa). I'm not in every fandom, nor I know every character ever, or what traits you're hoping to see - it's much easier if you describe exactly what you're looking for! Don't be afraid to send two asks if it's too long.

V.

You can request up to 6 characters per ask! The only exception to this is the Organization XIII, because I love them to death! The length of the post varies and depends on inspiration and number of characters!

VI.

You're free to send in your own [Heartcanons] - a cute term for KH headcanons about the game and characters. To diferentiate them from general chitchat, make sure to add [Heartcanon] at the beginning of the ask! These will be queued and post on Mondays, if there's any left around in the askbox! I also invite people to go feral discussing, rambling and even adding to our posts with your reblogs or in the replies! It's so fun to get together and talk about these blorbos!

Gutcanon: Janine Melnitz

Disclaimer: Basically all of Bell, Book, and Candle as well as Babies and Busters is one long ass Head/Heart/Gut/Spleen/Junk Canon for Ghostbusters. But here are some more specific instances and characteristics that fall into the separate categories (somewhat).

Gutcanon [this just feels right]: Janine

Working is super important to Janine and she’s held a job since she was 14. Not working is totally anathema to her, even if after she marries Egon he makes enough that she could be a housewife she refuses to. 

Janine is so obsessed with her nails because her sister Lori is a nail technician and cosmetologist. She will catch hell if she doesn’t take proper care of them or lets them get all raggedy. Lori gives Janine a manicure (at a reduced rate, their family after all but this is literally her job - and Janine totally agrees) every two weeks, it’s how they catch up, rather than just calling. While Janine tries other nail polish colors she always comes back to shades of red, they’re her signature. 

Janine saw Rocky Horror Picture Show when it came out and goes back every year to see it in theaters at Midnight and do all which that entails (she’s gone as Magenta twice, clothed Janet once, and various shades of undressed Janet all through college). 

Heartcanon [Things that make my heart go ping]: Egon and his mom

Egon’s mom read him fairytales and folklore every night after tucking him in when he was little because she wanted him to have some experiences that were age appropriate rather than designed to make him a genius and fast track him through school. It’s really her fault that he’s interested in half the stuff he likes. The stories were cool and interesting, but also he associates lore with the safe, warm feeling of being tucked in at night. 

Egon has always been his mom’s favorite/project because she feels like he needed her love the most. She tried to love him enough for her and Darwin, which is ultimately why she’s an awful smotherer. His mom is also the biggest Janegon shipper in the world, even more than Janine herself. 

Egon calls his mom once a week just to say hi. Every Monday, no matter what. 

Spleencanon [Me versus canon]: Dana and Peter

Peter is very bi and has slept with more men than Dana has. 

Dana broke up with Peter because he wouldn’t buckle down and do the hard parts of a relationship, or even the easy but boring parts of a relationship. She ultimately wasn’t interested in adopting a 30 something man-child who only wanted to be funny. She wouldn’t take him back, either, no matter how much she loved him, until she was convinced that he was willing to put in some actual work in their relationship. 

Dana married Andre on the rebound and they realized it wasn’t working before Oscar was even born. This being said, their relationship ended amicably, and Andre was in the delivery room with his by then ex-wife. They have a good relationship, even if they don’t love each other. 

Junkcanon: Janine and Egon

Egon is very into giving oral sex. Like he can’t be that into having snacks and not eat pussy. 

Egon is also an unrepentant legs man. 

Janine and Egon have two alarms go off every morning, the first one is early enough that if they want to have morning sex they have enough time to do so. The second one is for when they really have to get up and start the day.

I think I did this right?

Headcanon: When Demyx wakes up, he has a difficult time keeping a train of thought, and also it takes w a y too long for his eyes to start seeing properly. This makes him very jumpy. One time Demyx slapped Saïx across the face, because Saïx put his hand on Demyx's shoulder and Demyx had absolutely no clue who was touching him, or really where he was.

THIS IS STILL THE FUNNIEST HEADCANON JUST BC THE IDEA OF DEMYX SLAPPING THE SHIT OUT OF SAIX ON ACCIDENT IS RLLY FUNNY

HC: Xemnas and the other Xehanorts love playing Animal Crossing.

Just because ACNH has been such a fuckin BEACON OF JOY in my life since it came out (even though I have no means of playing lol) i’m adding some general animal crossing Nort headcanons 

Master Xenahort :

He’d be a snooty goat, pretty obvious. All of his letters sound vaguely threatening and pretty creepy, but he also sends super rare furniture so it’s not like you can complain that much.  Whenever he’s in your town, all of your flowers are bound to turn black for some weird fucking reason. - no one knows if this is a feature or a glitch You have more chances of getting him to show up if you have a heart shaped pond for him to lurk around.

As for Xenahort playing Animal Crossing, weLL. Good luck getting this old boomer figure out how the controls and everything else works. He seems to like Isabelle a lot because “she’s efficient and a cute dog” but he ALSO likes Apollo and his litte “PAH !” catchphrase.  Xenahort could have a pretty gothic and aesthetic world if it weren’t for the fact that he struggles with technology. Also also the guy who’d listen to all teh fun facts Blathers has.

Ansem (Heartless) :

A jock/cranky boar maybe. The kind of villager you wouldn’t really give much thought about, he looks a little funky and emo but eh, it’s not a big deal - until you get into his house and see that it’s pretty much chaos. There’s furniture you’ve never seen and are those fucking GLOWING EYES in the background ? You don’t think you wanna know. Exclusively comes out at night when there’s literally no other villager awake and he’s never present during holidays or events.

Ansem wouldn’t even play Animal Crossing, ngl. He has 0 interest in the game and would most likely drop it after 10 minutes. Also why can he only call like ONE person in the attic ? Fucking whack, that’s not how phones work. Spends the entire time complaining about little things he doesn’t understand. Like come on, man they’re just funky talking animals, let them live.

Xemnas : 

A lazy wolf. More quiet and lethargic than actually lazy. The guy is pretty quiet the first days UNTIL you start befriending them, then you’ll discover that he’s actually a fucking chatterbox. You can find Xemnas on the beach at sunset just vibing most of the time or at the museum. After having him around for a while, you notice that he’s the only fucking villager in your town that hasn’t celebrated nor told you when his birthday is. His house is pretty minimalist and monochrome.

Xemnas doesn’t exactly “play” the game - he mostly just roams around, doing absolutely nothing or just talking with people while going “Hmmm” Ohhh” “I see. . .” and other noises to himself. Couldn’t figure out how to give Isabelle a seashell on the first days so he just dropped that shit on the town hall pavement and it’s been there since then. Xemnas also never learns the real names of the villagers in his town, he just names them after people he knows and calls it a day.

Vanitas :

Definitely a jock cat, but like, the mean kind. He’s just too childish and energetic to be a cranky villager lol - his catchphrase is probably some shit like “idiot”. Not even a nickname, he just adds that at the end of sentences. Vanitas (or Catnitas :punch: :pensive) runs through the flowers but ONLY when you’re watching, orders the weirdest and most complex coffee just to see if you can make it - and then when you show him that you can, he’s impressed but also angry cause now he has to drink that shit. If you get Vanitas on your town, there’s a high chance that Ventus also moves in right next to him and viceversa.

Vanitas claims that he doesn’t give a shit about Animal Crossing, but his town is impeccable and he WILL kill for the villagers he loves - even if he’d also just try to straight up kill the ones he hates lol. The type of guy who carries around an axe 24/7 for no reason other than aesthetics and to make a Statement (tm). His house is pretty ugly though and he gets mad because he just doesn’t know how to properly decorate it to get a good grade.

Young Xenahort :

Smug goat. Smug goat. SMUG GOAT. The 100% definition of smug bastard - old Xenahort at least had the decency to SEND you rare furniture, but this guy just DISPLAYS it all on his house and MAKES SURE you know how pitiful it is that you can’t have the same things as he does. His house is chess themed and he has a picture of Eraqus somewhere. All of his letters sound condescending and he tries to use really long words to sound cooler, but we all know the truth. 

Young Xenahort shares a switch with Young Eraqus so naturally they  share islands in ACNH. Eraqus didn’t really mind but Xenahort REALLY wanted to divide the island in half so that they could have their own territory. IRONICALLY, he spends most of the time on Eraqus’ side tidying shit up - because he just can’t help getting mad whenever he sees how messy everything is, with all the fucking fish just laying around because Blathers isn’t there yet. Young Xenahort also insists on only having white roses and is very hellbent on keeping a strict aesthetic.

Terranort : 

The snooty lion she tells you not to worry about. Also a bit smug, but not as bad as the actual Xenahort - he’s actually pretty tolerable, when he’s not giving you the cold shoulder. The villager that takes you 207456 years to actually befriend and who only likes super specific and rare items as gifts. It’s really funny to bully him around because he only gets angry and just stomps around all day after that.

Another sad lad who wouldn’t play AC BUT if he DID he’d have some intense lore and one man larping sessions with the villagers. Like, those people who get WAY too into it. And sadly that’s all I got on him because I wasted all of my juice on writing for the other guys who are all technically the same guy. 

Dark Riku : 

Stereotypical jock wolf - head empty no thoughts, only muscles, sports and a deep seated inferiority complex. If you send him fruit, he’ll send you garbage in return. The only villager who wil SMACK you back with a net if you hit him, but his letters are oddly ??? Pretty nice and normal too ??? Unlike all of his regular dialogue about beating you up at every single game and sport possible in this entire world. Like, calm down, bro. Calm down and have a caprisun. Brags a lot about his “friend Kairi” from another town, which is sad cause she doesn’t. Actually know him. At all.

 Like Vanitas, e-boy Riku says he “doesn’t give a shit about some animal AI from a kids game” but he actually does. Sable is BEST girl in his eyes and getting her to open up and share her story with him was a magical moment. The game is super soothing and it calms him down, he’d even listen to those Lo-Fi AC 24/7 streams on youtube whenever he needs to c h i l l.

Xigbar : 

Peppy panther, I don’t even have to tell y’all what his catchphrase is. Constantly breaks the fourth wall with little jokes, known to “teleport” - he kinda ends up showing up on every single store and building you enter, as if nothing happened. Sends you VERY specific letters describing shit he shouldn’t knowor stupid jokes and puns. LOVES to gossip about other villagers and gives you that Extra Lore and trivia about them - but whenever you ask others about him, they just Dont Know Anything About Xigbar. Are you SURE he’s in your town, mayor ? 

Xigbar would mostly play Pocket Camp because it’s easier than carrying around a fuckin ds or a switch. It’s also less work and it’s a nice distraction from all the drama going around in the real organization. To play ACNH or ACNL he probably leeches off someone else’s console and he’d exclusively visit others’ towns just to fuck with them or annoy them to death by surrounding their houses with pitfalls.

future kh headcanon: lauriam notices namine easily feels threatened (mostly by him). he offers to teach her self-defense techniques. elrena gives her a taser and lets her loose.

More actor au shit bc I don’t have impulse control: Terra is actually related to the Nort Gang tm. Vanitas absolutely LOVES vincent valentine and was EXTREMELY upset when he found out that Vincent would not be in any kh games (so far) since he’s a huge vincent fan and actually stans dirge of cerberus. When sora found out he’d be working with THE squall leonhart he cried.

Imagine being Cloud, you just got hired for a Disney game with Square Enix, you’re walking into the studio, coffee in hand and then you hear it. A collective g a s p coming from the group of 12-15 year old actors making d i r e c t eye contact with you and you can tell they want to approach you and ask you for an autograph, but they’re too shy and flustered. Like that’s it. What else can you do but adopt all these kids. They’re your kids now. Nomura can’t stop you.

Heartcanon: post KH3, Xion got an influx of stuffed animals appearing in her room as presents from friends or as silent apologies from former organization members for things they did *cough*Isa*cough*. She has an entire wall of them stacked on top of eachother and she rotates which ones she keeps on her bed. Xion can pull them out easily but If anyone else tries to touch the wall they'll find themselves in a stuffed animal avalanche.

the Vincent fanboy Vanitas was a joke BUT now I’m kinda here for it. Vanitas LOVES Vincent Valentine. He only played ffvii cuz Sora begged him to and he saw Vincent and went :O. He wholeheartedly adores Dirge of Cerberus he thinks it’s the best ffvii game. WILL fight you if you say it’s a bad game. Almost cried (refuses to admit to it but Sora got on video) when there was no Vincent in kh. Wants to fight Nomura

[#1] Sweety I am grooving on your Actor AU! I am so here for it. 1. Riku's dad is the most intimidating guy on set, esp when people find out he is the director. He played a modest role in FF7 and had his own title with Dirge of Cerberus. 2. When people find out super star Noctis Lucis Caelum is also a sib to Riku, they flip their shit, especially Sora, being one of Nocts biggest fangs [ngl one of Nocts hair+eye colour combo's is so much like Vincent] 3. Zexion always helps the youngest cast

Headcanon: most of the KHUX squad have pretty heavy footing. Lauriam occasionally gets drained in his work and doesn’t notice when someone calls for him, but he can feel the sensitive floorboards shaking so he knows someone is there. Once, Ven decided to prank him by walking very quietly and slowly, and suddenly stomping his foot on the ground while he was right behind Lauriam, who gasped and instantly turned around, smacking Ven with the armrest of his chair in the process. Apologies ensued.

I always wonder about what Xenahort and Eraqus (both old and young) in the actor's AU. I like to imagine that Xenahort is Riku's grandpa and the one that started the actor family legacy (r.i.p Leonard Nimoy) and Eraqus was the one that brought up the idea of keyblade wielders as the alternative star wars

the actors for young Xenahort and young Eraqus are def bfs and the grandpas are def super close friends

heartcanon: lea gets cold really fucking fast. the man is the epitome of a human heater but in winter he will literally walk in wrapped in at least two blankets and a bath robe looking grumpy as fuck

i really like the idea of lauriam being able to throw his scythe (like rita from honkai) and being able to just run up walls

I have no idea who Rita is b u t considering how this game works, i’m pretty sure everyone can run up wall with the sheer power of their determination  

Like Roxas and Sora just running up that b i g tower when they fight against Riku and Xemnas respectively, the Foretellers just CASUALLY jumping like 40 feet off the ground and from roof to roof in Daybreak Town eTC ETC
