After a career-ending injury leaves Jack indefinitely suspended from the Falcs and sent back home to recover at his parents’ place in Montreal, the main thing that keeps Jack going are the numerous texts and letters he receives from Bitty.

[In a canon-divergent scenario where Jack chickens out of taking his shot with Bitty at graduation, he plays a few years with the Falcs until one bad check puts that lifelong dream on the back burner.

Facing the media’s gloating and his own self doubt that he really wasn’t going to live up to his father’s legacy, Jack learns that there might possibly be hope for meaning in his life beyond hockey. It just took a few internationally-mailed batches of cookies, scones, and tarts to make him see that]

Saving All Your Feelings for a Saturday Night

Sundance Film Festival takes place in Utah every late January through early February as the largest independent film festival in the US. The local NHL team, the Utah Grizzles, play at least 5 games during this time. One of those is against their neighboring rival, the Las Vegas Aces. Kent, Eric, and Jack meet in the middle, somehow.

These are just the edits I made for the omgcp fandom last year that I’m proud of even though no one reblogs anything on tumblr anymore , so here they are!

1. Parswoops magazine edit (gifset)

I did this for the omgcp reverse bang and it is by far one of my favourite things that I’ve made for this fandom. It was so fun to make and I’m really proud of how it came out. I still have no idea how I pulled off using two different facecasts for Kent and three different ones for Swoops but gladly it all worked out.

2. Parswoops mafia au (gifset)

This is another gifset I made for the omgcp reverse bang. Some of these clips were so hard to find and I know I probably spent longer than necessary figuring out the arrangement of the gifs. Regardless, I’m really proud of it (listen parswoops is soft af but I need them being badass boyfriends).

3. Parswoops coffeeshop au (edit)

Who doesn’t love a good coffee shop au? I love the colour scheme of this one and also how I got the pictures to (sort of?) tell a story. 

4. LardoKent heartbreakfest au (edit)

Tbh this one was kind of rushed but I’m really happy with how the colours came out. I wasn’t really sure how I would show angst through an edit but the cool tones really help give off an angsty/hopeless vibe.

Anyway those are the big pieces I made in 2020 on this blog. They were fun to make and I’m proud of them all! I tag anyone who wants to do this, feel free to say I tagged you bc I’d love to see what you created!

After a 2 year hiatus, OMGCP Heartbreak Fest will be returning this year.

As the new moderators of the event, we would like to take this time to introduce ourselves and reintroduce the event.

We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to Allie ( @omgpbandj / @alpha-exodus ) for creating and running the first iteration of this event as well as being so kind as to allow us to continue it!

We are all so excited to get this event back up off the ground, so let us take this moment to introduce a few changes for those who participated in the original.

Your new event

While the event calendar will be very similar to the original event, we will be making some changes to the structure.

This event is now an exchange. You will be assigned someone to create for according to their requests. Someone else will create according to your requests.

You will be allowed to claim anonymous prompts you are interested in. A randomizer will make the final pairings so as to make sure everyone gets the highest pick possible on their list. These claims will NOT be first-come first-serve.

So as to offer a more equal balance in types of content creation, we have changed the minimum requirements. You may find those here.
