Sundance Film Festival takes place in Utah every late January through early February as the largest independent film festival in the US. The local NHL team, the Utah Grizzles, play at least 5 games during this time. One of those is against their neighboring rival, the Las Vegas Aces. Kent, Eric, and Jack meet in the middle, somehow.

After a 2 year hiatus, OMGCP Heartbreak Fest will be returning this year.

As the new moderators of the event, we would like to take this time to introduce ourselves and reintroduce the event.

Known in their irl friend circle as "obsessed with that gay hockey comic". Co-Runner of Samwell Sweethearts. Writer for all things Check Please.  Actually likes Wingman.

Faia - @faiasakura

Multi-fandom creator who came for the hockey gays, stayed for the queer friendships made. Also mod for Feedback Fest and Polya Epifest. Likes that one character with the cat.

We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to Allie ( @omgpbandj / @alpha-exodus ) for creating and running the first iteration of this event as well as being so kind as to allow us to continue it!

We are all so excited to get this event back up off the ground, so let us take this moment to introduce a few changes for those who participated in the original.

Your new event

While the event calendar will be very similar to the original event, we will be making some changes to the structure.

This event is now an exchange. You will be assigned someone to create for according to their requests. Someone else will create according to your requests.

You will be allowed to claim anonymous prompts you are interested in. A randomizer will make the final pairings so as to make sure everyone gets the highest pick possible on their list. These claims will NOT be first-come first-serve.

So as to offer a more equal balance in types of content creation, we have changed the minimum requirements. You may find those here.
