Image description below cut due to length.
I am absolutely fascinated by the cowboy bathtub revolver teapot. What a combo! He's got his gun in case anyone jumps him while he's in the bath. No stagecoach robbery while this man's getting clean! Also, I'm pretty sure you're not the only person who's shown me an anatomical heart teapot and been like "I want it."
The first cursed teapot reminds me of one of the bad guys from Farscape. I'm pretty sure the baby pot is not a drawing but it might be AI art, which is against the rules, but you clearly didn't send me AI art on purpose so I'm not going to give you a hard time. The last cursed teapot.... yeah that's really cursed. Very cursed. Cursed indeed. So cursed.
I like both of your "more trouble than the tea is worth" teapots. The grape vine one is pretty, though it looks like it's not meant to be used because who wants to grip that handle? And the crab one is just fun.
Ok so fun fact the lips teapot is actually a Marilyn Monroe teapot from the 70s. I've been sent it multiple times because it is, indeed, very weird and uncomfortably sexual. The M&M teapot is also making a weirdly suggestive face, so I sense a theme here. Also, that M&M's eyebrows are in the wrong place (the lid isn't lined up perfectly}.
Image description:
9 photographs of teapots.
Photograph 1: a red anatomically correct heart teapot.
Photograph 2: A teapot in the shape of a cowboy in the bathtub. The handle and spout of the teapot are molded to look like a revolver. The bathtub is too small for the cowboy to spread out in, so his knees stick out of the water. Bubbles cover his nether bits and a cowboy boot sits on the side of the tub.
Photograph 3: a teapot in the shape of a head in a helmet. The handle is a naked man who is making contact with the head at his hands and one knee, as if he is trying to push the head.
Photograph 4: a silver teapot with a silver baby doll's head and body parts sticking out of it, as if the baby is wearing the teapot as a onesie. This photo is the one that may be AI generated.
Photograph 5: a marbled teapot in the shape of someone sitting in the fetal position. The material of the teapot is flesh colored and the handle is shaped like a spine. The spout is a golden metal tube protruding from the mouth.
Photograph 6: a blue teapot with a handle and lid handle in the shape of a grape vine. Right where the hand would go, a cluster of grapes hangs down.
Photograph 7: a blue and brown teapot in the shape of a crab. The lid is very small and shaped like a fish.
Photograph 8: 1970s Marilyn Monroe teapot, which is a white teapot with a spout that has very plush lips on the end and a mole on the body of the teapot near the spout.
Photograph 9: A tea for one set in the shape of a red M&M that is making a suggestive face.
End ID.

@yarnandink tagged me to rate this teapot! It's got a very pleasing glaze. Idk I find teapots that are all one color especially appealing (and yet while I own 17 teapots, I do not own a single color teapot...). The lid looks too small to get a proper tea strainer for loose leaf tea in it, though. So while I find it pleasing to look at, I wouldn't buy it.

‘Rose, oh roses, grant me my wish. Blooming from the stone, the Golden Rose sang to me.’
“An exiled scholar once cultivated these roses specifically to survive the desert.…but something so special should be regarded alongside someone worthy of its beauty. Delicate, yet strong. For your personal archives….”

“personal archives” because my s/i is an archivist at the akademiya, and now here it is in our teapot bedroom muahaha

♡ TKTOBER DAY 3 - Prank
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ Tags: Kokochi (platonic), Hydro gang being besties, prank war!
(Thank you for requesting Kokomi I love love her sm (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ Pastel mermaid queen!!!! I hope you like the fic ♡ )
“Not the book not the book—!”
Kokomi yelped as she hugged Thrilling Tales tight to her chest, ducking downwards to avoid the explosion of water overhead. Xingqiu’s laughter rang through the house, the sound of a bell chiming overhead. Behind his laughter was a now familiar splashing sound of Mona traversing through the floor before eerie silence settled in… only to be broken by yet another splash of water elsewhere, coupled with Furina’s screech.
Well. Furina was out.
“Holding up, comrade?”
“Childe!” Kokomi brightened as he slid into her hiding spot, winking. She scooted over to let him under the table with her, flashing the catalyst tucked between her arms. “I’ve gotten my catalyst back, thankfully, but it doesn’t look too good out there. After Xingqiu, it’s Yelan in the lead, and now that Furina’s been taken out…”
“It’s just us, Sigewinne, and Mona left, huh?” Childe asked, scratching his chin. “Hmm… I knew Xingqiu would be a pranking expert, but who would’ve guessed Yelan?”
Kazuha’s many pranks on Gorou came to mind. Kokomi giggled. “You’d be surprised what spies do in their downtime.”
He flashed her his Fatui insignia with a grin. “Believe me, I know.”
That made sense. She nodded, them both quieting as hurried footsteps sounded outside. Too big to be Sigewinne, too small for Yelan… but the 50% chance of it being Xingqiu on the prowl was too high for her to call out to the figure. Not when she was so close to the prize!
After all, whoever won the prank war would receive a new weapon from the Traveler. Familiar as she was to Thrilling Tales, the beautiful sculpt of Everlasting Moonglow called to her—she needed it.
Another splash of water echoed from upstairs, coupled with Mona’s screech of frustration. Kokomi bit her lip; another one out, another step closer to the weapon. All that was left was herself, Sigewinne, Xinqiu, Yelan, and…
Childe. Who was sitting right next to her, bowless, eyes on the outside.
It’d be so easy. He was a Fatui Harbinger, but she had her catalyst already in hand, and his sight was firmly set on searching out the two main culprits who’d taken out most of the Hydro team already. Yet, to do so was a betrayal of trust, wasn’t it? He’d called her a comrade! But then again, they’d never officially agreed to team up, and Childe would’ve called her that regardless of the competition.
All’s fair in love and war, right?
“Hyahahaha! C-chihilde?!”
“What’s the surprise, comrade? Don’t you know the early bird gets the worm? Or fish, in this case.”
“I’m nohot a fihehehehesh!” Kokomi flushed as she giggled, flinching away from Childe’s eager pokes to her sides. The water bubble she was beginning to form with her catalyst wavered in the air before losing its shape entirely, splashing the floor with a limp noise as she lost concentration. Her legs kicked out, flailing, but Childe the opportunity to tug her close and squeeze her arms between his thighs. She gasped, eying the way her shirt fell open, and knew she was in trouble.
“W-wait! Wahahait—I—I—!”
Kokomi burst out in laughter as Childe dug into her stomach with sing-song teasing, flopping against the floor but unable to gain any leverage. Curse the slippery fabric of her outfit—as beautiful as its luminescent shine was, it made for terrible grip when escaping from Childe’s hold. “Sorry, but traitors don’t get to wait.”
Traitors. Traitors!
Kokomi drummed her legs, failing to find purchase, as Childe’s hands wandered up her sides. Her mind jumped in a million directions, most of them pointing to danger flashing in her mind. “How dihehehed you knohahahahw?”
“I’m secretly the Hydro Archon.”
“ChihiHEHELDE!”
“I’m secretly the Abyss Archon?”
“ChiLEHEHEDEHEHE!”
“Okay, you’re the second person to scold me while laughing now. What’s up with that?” Childe sighed, mock shaking his head in despair. “You wound me, comrade, truly. With your betrayal and your words.”
She’s hadn’t even said anything! Kokomi squealed as his hands wandered under her arms, dancing along the fabric of her shirt, before teasing her shoulders beneath her choker. The sensation right beneath her neck was maddeningly almost close enough that she could protect it by ducking down, and yet just barely out of reach. “T-ThihiHIHIS isn’t fahahHAHAIR!”
He whistled. “All’s fair in love and war, isn’t it?”
The echo of her own thoughts brought back the thought of vengeance as Kokomi threw her weight against his stomach. Air escaped him in a surprised exhale before he gasped as she took the opportunity to flex her fingers beneath his thighs, clawing wherever she could reach.
He giggled, flailing. “H-hehehehehey! Watch it!”
“All’s fair, isn’t it?” Kokomi grinned. As expected, Childe flinched at her touch, legs spreading wider on instinct—a perfect opportunity to distract and escape. She swiveled on her feet to roll out, only to shriek as firm hands grasped onto her waist from behind and tug her back down.
“NahahahahahHAHA!”
“You’re right—all’s fair. Looks like I won’t be so gentle anymore.”
“You’re nohahaht geheHEHENTLEHEHE!” Kokomi’s reply broke off in a shout as he trailed his hands along her sides, dragging his knuckles back and forth over her ribs in a mimicry of counting them; brief victory flickering away from her grasp only seemed to amplify the sensations and her fists pounded the floor as she laughed. It tickled so terribly, her sides aching as tears began to build in her eyes, but still, the words of surrender refused to leave her mouth. It could have been stubbornness, righteousness, something else entirely.
She couldn’t give up. Not when she was so, so close to her prize.
“Wah?!”
Kokomi gasped as she fell back, shoulders hitting the floor as Childe’s grip on her released. She curled up, still laughing, hands immediately crossing to protect her ribs; rather than more teasing, instead she blinked at the sound of splashing water and his disappointed groan.
Childe had been splashed. He was out. Who’d won?
“Seriously, Sigewinne?”
Kokomi jerked her head up in surprise to see their resident Melusine smiling down at her, gun swinging in hand. Childe wiped the wet mess of hair stuck to his face behind her. “You shouldn’t bully others,” Sigewinne scolded him, before turning to her. “You looked like you needed some help!”
That she did. She smiled, relieved. “Thank you, Sigewinne. Are you the only one left?”
“Hmm… nope!”
“Who else is still in? Yelan or Xingqiu?” Kokomi asked, turning her head. At this point, a surprise attack by either of the two was overdue: she and Childe were certainly not quiet in their hiding spot the last several minutes. If anything, it was odd that they hadn’t been caught faster.
A spritz of water was her answer. Her neck could have cracked with the speed she jerked back to Sigewinne, jaw dropping, as the small girl, now wet with her own gun, giggled. “You are!”
“W-what?”
“You are!” Sigewinne repeated. “Me and you were the last ones, and now I’m out, so…”
That must have meant Sigewinne had taken out Yelan and Xingqiu, so of course they couldn’t have taken the time to capture Kokomi or Childe when they were clearly occupied. And if Sigewinne had found them entertaining (as she was oft to do), she wouldn’t have intervened until it seemed like their playtime was coming to an end. For the Melusine, it made sense. And now, Sigewinne had taken herself out, and so—
And so!
“I won?” Kokomi said, jaw dropping. “I won? I’m the last one? The only one not wet? Me?”
Sigewinne giggled. “You won!”
“Guess you’re getting that catalyst after all.” Childe grinned, poking her cheek. She hardly felt it with how wide her smile stretched. “Not bad, comrade.”
Kokomi’s eyes sparkled in victory. It wasn’t long before their fellow Hydro users returned from their various hiding spots, each dripping with more water than the last, and she laughed when they each hugged her until she was wet enough to create her own puddle. Victory never tasted sweeter than surrounded by her dear friends.
