i bought another bundle, went against rules as it was over what was in the hobby money but I've decided to toss the rules out the window:

x dolls in x dolls out,

only if hobby money is available,

only so many in a short time span,

customize as many as possible

recuperate the cost before paying for post to send free dolls

nope, over. These rules used to help for motivation and trying new skill sets. They just don't work for the current situation.

NGL it's actually quite hard to let myself change habits and i'm sure there will be regrets at some point but it's also about daring to extend kindness that comes naturally for others, to myself.

Ok onto dolls!

Your eyes probably went straight to Top Model Summer (Steffie mold on model muse with green streaks) or blob girl create a monster (amazing as always) or maybe even the WITCH dolls (atrocious nylon, lovely anime eyes) but this bundle was bought for a long term grail: Fairytopia Crystal.

My sister knows me well because she's the first one she grabbed out of the box with blob girl: "Glitter jelly shoes... but it's a doll! We would have been obsessed with this as kids"

There's also the spooptacular uncanny fab faces MyScene and some amazing clothes (gorgeous top and crochet/knitted? white and glitter dress and a velvet dark green jacket - no picture yet)

I'll take photos and clean them tomorrow if i'm well enough, having another flare-up after a series of rough nights and tiger mosquito bites.

I'll be keeping Crystal, some clothes, maybe some of the GG's belly button bodies or Simba Jenny's body for a weird clone I've grown fond of.

Ok finally here's a piece of information that's hard to find on the internet:

W.I.T.C.H dolls by Disney and Giochi Preziosi are 13" or 32cm and have little symbol lights on their torsos: they're not touch sensitive, not light activated, no movement or sound. I managed to find that you need to touch it with the Heart of Candracar/Kandrakar pendant. Ok that's tiny and glowy. Infrared? hmm. Magnets! I managed to get a video, you need a pretty strong magnet, touch it to the symbol then you get a 20 second rainbow light display.

The fact this is a W.I.T.C.H account makes me so happy this is a show and book series I love as a kid a still love. I watched it so many times even found the entire show on YouTube. The guardians, the heart of candracar, ahhh now I have to Binge watch. Love the avatar sprinkles in there too. 💖👏🏾🥺

W.I.Z.A.R.D.

Fifteen years ago, the White King, Shikaratobu, and his Knights of Mt. Thanos, plunged the universe into war. However, the loving sacrifice of Wilma and Matt Olsen to protect their son Will ended their conquest.

Now, the remnants of the Knights of Mt. Thanos have recruited even more unfortunate bystanders to their cause, and are threatening the universe once again. And the Council of Candracar recruits five new teenagers to become the new Guardians of Infinite Dimensions.

They are William Olsen, the aformentioned orphaned boy (Quintessence/Orange), Isabella Tubbs, a somewhat loveable school delinquent (Water/Blue), Zachary Ashcroft, a not so social straight-a student (Fire/Red), Angelica Green, a popular girl with a heart of gold (Earth/Yellow), and Rin-Don Lyndon (Air/Green), an aspiring artist with a love of the supernatural. Together they form W.I.Z.A.R.D., using their five elemental powers to fight against the evil Knights of Mt. Thanos.

Something that needed a quick fix

In K is for Knowledge when Cassidy received the “Heart of Candracar” and it was actually the Heart of Meridian. Also the numerous voice switches between the girls in early season one, and for goodness sake give Kadma her GD sash back on her uniform.

The final CHYKN headcanon doodles, finishing up with the Big Bad Mistress, Nerissa! Her full name is Nerissa Basile. Nerissa's home life was far from ideal, thanks to her alcoholic father. If his words didn't hurt, his actions would. Despite being a man of great wealth, he often used that money to hold Nerissa and her mother hostage, all the while wasting his precious funds on gambling and scams. Mr. Basile's sister, Aunt Camilla, was just as bad, often flaunting her wealth for favors or bribery. Mrs. Basile was the exact opposite of her husband and sister-in-law. She was meek, but a gentle person. She did what she could to protect her young daughter from the abusive behavior of her husband, but it seems like the years of abuse are finally taking a tool on her mental health. The only other sane member of Nerissa's family was her uncle Gary, who is Mrs. Basile's younger brother. He's a car mechanic and a goofball, but he always has Nerissa's and her mother's backs whenever he can. And even he doesn't have much money, he always finds a way to spoil Nerissa. As a Guardian, Nerissa was quick to adapt, seeing as how she could now serve justice against the wicked. She already had a reputation at school for being a "bull dog," a person no bully really wanted to mess with. Only now instead of using her fists, she had the Heart of Candracar to deal justice.

Running fast enough that your heart is racing, running far enough that you legs and lungs can only ache and loving the feeling. Knowing that there is a warm bed waiting for you at home. Looking on the bright side. The cost of serving. Cardboard boxes and trash cans sitting on the side of an alleyway. Warm sweaters and hot chocolate that is just cool enough to drink without scorching. Warm summer days and cool winter nights, finding a place no matter where you go. The last flicker of a candle before it is blown out.

Lena served one tour in the Intergalactic Militia before Yen Sid found her and asked if she would take the position on the asteroid. Seeing as all she ever wanted to do was provide safety, she didn't refuse, and took her stay on the rock. She has made a home here, and while sometimes she does miss her home planet, she knows that she has made a real difference to the structure here and hopes to continue to shape the lives of those around her and the people on this asteroid.

She has several things that she would like to accomplish in her lifetime, but first and foremost, she wants to hopefully bring forth a bigger better tomorrow. It sounds cheesy, but at the end of the day, it's what she wants to do and it's what she sets out everyday to try to achieve. You can't change the world all at once, but if you try everyday, one person at a time? You're bound to get there someday.

Quick on her feet and a wit quicker than that, Lena is almost always one step ahead of anything you can throw at her. She keeps on top of her work and on top of her team, keeping everything moving like a well oiled machine. She makes sure that the schedules are perfect, that the rotations never miss a beat, she does her best to be everywhere at once and if this is taking a toll on her, she doesn't show it. At the end of the day, the people of this asteroid need to be protected.

While Lena has an unmuted pride about her position within the Security Staff of Yen Sid, but there is one thing that comes with this position that really blows ─ the amount of time that she spends on paperwork is astronomical and it is something that she would honestly prefer not to be doing.

On the battlefield, in her second year of service, Lena had a very close brush with death. She was under for a good few weeks, some did not think that she would pull through. When she did, she came back with a better appreciation of life and all things living. There is an air about her, a true positivity that is hard to define without knowing this story, but it is not one that she tells often if at all.

W.I.T.C.H: Prince Phobos [ENTJ]

Extroverted Thinking (Te): Phobos is nothing if not imposing. His word (and reign) are absolute and holds no quarter for those who won’t submit to his will. Phobos’ ruthless nature is quite apparent when he doesn’t have to pretend to be nice, with his remorseless and vicious actions. When forced to team up with the guardians against Nerissa, he tries to assert his will over them, to no avail.

Introverted Intuition (Ni): Phobos has a definite goal in mind: break through the veil and conquer all other worlds. To do this, he needs Elyon’s power. He adopts the facade of an aloof but caring big brother to gain her trust. Phobos is easily able to tell people’s strengths and weaknesses, which then allows him to exploit those traits. This is demonstrated in his first encounter with Will, which left her with a deep fear of him.

Extroverted Sensing (Se): Phobos is very intelligent but, also very impulsive and quick to anger. An example would be when he crosses to Candracar to conquer it, forgetting that he swore on the Heart of Candracar not to and almost lost his powers. It’s these moments of impulse and arrogance that lead to his downfall. Phobos also has a taste for decadence, shown when he redecorates Kandracar in gold and red.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Phobos keeps his emotions to himself, unless he’s angered. In which case, he’ll explode with a violent fury. Ultimately, he’s selfish and cares nothing for those he hurts or destroys.
