i will never forget how melanie martinez fans treated timothy heller. especially when you remember that her initial reaction was to say “she never said no to anything we did together” proving that she doesn’t understand consent and her that first response is to victim blame. she then went on to thank her fans for “proving” it was fake (which they didn’t do) and then responded with a DISS TRACK against her victim. she then let her fans doxx, harass, and bully timothy off the internet because she spoke up about being assaulted. the fact that she still has a career after that is proof that cancel culture is fake and most people only care about victims when they’re speaking out against a celebrity they already disliked.
