i hate having to do this again, but...funds are getting really low, and i had a panic attack about money yesterday.
as you all know, i had a massive embolic cryptogenic stroke on may 21st of 2024. as of july 10th, i still have not been able to go back to work, as my brain is very much still healing. unfortunately, i still live in a capitalistic nightmare (USA), so my roommates and i have really been feeling the absence. my brother has begun working overtime to make ends meet, and his car needs to be repaired (the AC went out right before summer, and we're currently in the midst of a heat wave, with temperatures getting as high as 105 degreess fahrenheit). both of my roommates are still working fulltime, and we're still incredibly stressed about making ends meet.
i really wanna help out however i can. don't worry about donating if you aren't able, even just a share means the world to me.
link is below:
UPDATE July 28th 2024: I'm still struggling to get back to work, but making a little bit of progress at least. Luckily, brother's car has been repaired, but gf's car is in the shop now so...still having car problems haha, and funds are still getting really low

Show Review: Louis Tomlinson draws thousands to sold out Faith in the Future Tour stop
Olivia Khiel | July 5, 2023
Louis Tomlinson is leveling up and he’s starting with a new album and a tour that sold out a stop at Arizona Financial Theatre on Monday. The singer was joined by a killer backing band, along with openers Andrew Cushin and The Snuts for a high-energy evening of rock ‘n’ roll.
Fresh from their Las Vegas nightclub extravaganza, The Snuts shuffled onstage in the throes of vehicular issues that nearly derailed their Arizona appearance and perhaps a touch of a hangover. Regardless, the Scottish quartet gave the crowd a rollicking set that included “The Rodeo” and “Somebody Loves You”. They weren’t onstage long but they certainly made an impression on the excitable audience.
When Louis Tomlinson released Faith in the Future in late 2022, it marked a stronger era for the former One Directioner. That strength lent itself to larger scale stage production, a heavy rocking live band and an uncontainable love from millions of fans. The Arizona section of the fanbase showed up and showed out on Monday with their handmade signs and ear splitting screams every time Tomlinson so much as smiled. And really who could blame them when his grin lit up the entire theatre?
He admitted to feeling under the weather but still gave stellar performances of “Kill My Mind”, “Face the Music” (a favorite of ours from the new album) and the uplifting “We Made It”. Not one to forget his roots, Tomlinson also threw in covers of One Direction’s “Night Changes” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”, putting his own spin on the massive hits.
Tomlinson’s voice was a standout in One Direction and getting to hear him sing solo puts that uniqueness front and center. He also tells his story in raw and honest lyrics, never forgetting where he came from and where he knows he belongs.
The unreleased fan favorite “Copy of a Copy of a Copy” had another spotlight moment on this tour, along with a cover of Arctic Monkeys’ “505” done to perfection. At this point, Tomlinson’s weariness was starting to show but the fans carried him as he pushed through to end the main set with “Out of My System”.
Flashing lights and loud guitars brought Tomlinson back to the stage for an encore and he jumped down to the barricade to be in the arms of his adoring fans. Those arms and hands got aggressive, however, and he returned to his microphone rumpled and with holes torn in yet another stage outfit- prompting Tomlinson’s biggest smile of the night. He has a clear love of performing and described being in front of thousands of people who have lifted him up from the One Direction days to now as healing and exhilarating.
That adoration and joy was mirrored for the entire show and Tomlinson exited the stage to thunderous applause and the knowledge that we’d all be back next time.

Exploration of the now-offline Far Cry 5 official websites
Part 3: Game Info 2 (America)
Recovered content
On July 13th, 2017, this is what the Overview, on the Game Info page of the American website, said:
OVERVIEW Welcome to Hope County, Montana, land of the free and the brave, but also home to a fanatical doomsday cult known as The Project at Eden’s Gate that is threatening the community's freedom. Stand up to the cult’s leader, Joseph Seed and the Heralds, and spark the fires of resistance that will liberate the besieged community. In this expansive world, your limits and creativity will be tested against the biggest and most ruthless baddest enemy Far Cry has ever seen. It’ll be wild and it’ll get weird, but as long as you keep your wits about you, the residents of Hope County can rest assured knowing you’re their beacon of hope. Join the Resistance on February 27, 2018, with Far Cry 5. Available on PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and PC.
Then, it was moved to the Game Features page and only said this:
OVERVIEW Far Cry 5 is a massive open world that’s filled with something new around every bend. The enemy AI behavior is more realistic and the exploration is almost endless. Even when you feel like taking a break from the campaign, you can take in some leisurely fishing before diving back into your quest. It’s your mission. With it comes the freedom to take on a world that hits back by any means necessary. Join the Resistance now with Far Cry 5. Available on PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and PC.
On this Game Features page, which was only archived three times on the Wayback Machine (and remained unchanged at least from May 18th, 2019, to February 7th, 2020), there was also information about Hope County’s three main regions:
REGIONS WHERE ONE MISSION ENDS, ANOTHER BEGINS Three diverse regions and three really bad Heralds stand between you and The Father. How you conquer them is up to you.
HOLLAND VALLEY - John Seed's Region Named for the Dutch immigrants who originally settled here, Holland Valley feels like a postcard from the West. It is home to farms, grazing animals, and a small community named Fall’s End. Because of all the goods that are grown and transformed here, this is also where the cult is planning to reap whatever they need before The Collapse.
HENBANE RIVER - Faith Seed's Region Henbane River was once a place where people came to heal. Its landscape was dotted with cottages, hot springs, and the flowers that give the region its name. Over time the hot springs business fizzled out and the Project at Eden’s Gate moved in. This area is the cult’s heart in Hope County and a place of field labor and worship. Its economy revolves around converting souls into a docile workforce through use of drugs.
WHITETAIL MOUNTAINS - Jacob Seed's Region Whitetail Mountains are a true wilderness where nature’s raw power is on display. Teeming with wildlife, this is a place to hide secrets—from both society and the law. It’s here that the cult is building an army to protect their followers from the Collapse. While Eden’s Gate controls this region, those who reject the cult can also find safe haven here. Preppers and survivalists have encamped themselves in these hidden mountains as they await the right moment to strike.
You could find the Activities as well:
HUNTING Aim a bit off? Practice your marksmanship on some of the wild animals that are roaming throughout the different regions in Hope County. But beware, the animals fight back. FISHING Need a breather from ousting a doomsday cult and their maniacal leader? Take a break and cast a line in any of Hope County's scenic lakes and rivers. WINGSUIT Do you believe you can fly? Nothing says freedom like soaring high above Hope County like a bald eagle. CRAFTING While you make your way through the diverse landscapes of Hope County, Montana, you will encounter all manner of animals and natural resources. Use them to your advantage, when crafting your upgrades.
There was also an introduction to the For Hire system, and notably this:
GUNS FOR HIRE Not only do you have unique skills to bring to the table, so do your Guns For Hire. You can meet and recruit them in the open world, although they may need some help sorting out their own problems before lending you a hand. If you like to travel in numbers, you can recruit up to two for hire at a time, which should help increase your chances of survival.
FANGS FOR HIRE It's not only the human residents of Hope County who are prepared to fight back. As a part of the Guns for Hire system, Fangs for Hire are animal companions for the player. Each is unique, and can enhance whatever playstyle you choose.
“Read More” took you to the News section, to an article titled “Meet Far Cry 5's Characters” (more details in future posts), and another one that was apparently not archived, sadly...
Commentary
The changes in the Overview are interesting to me because they initially called Eden’s Gate “the biggest and most ruthless baddest enemy Far Cry has ever seen”... and then didn’t.
I like that we learn more about the three regions, especially details such as Holland Valley getting its name from the Dutch immigrants who used to live there or the Henbane River being a reference to the flowers that grow in the region. That said, the Bliss flowers we see in Far Cry 5 seem to be inspired by Datura, not Henbane, so I don’t know if this is a mistake or if the developers had other real-life flowers in mind when they came up with the concept of Bliss. Henbane flowers contain the same psychoactive substance as the drug used by the cult: scopolamine (although its hallucinogenic properties were greatly exaggerated in the game).
The site also says we could craft upgrades using “animals and natural resources”, but while plants can indeed be used to make “homeopathics”, crafting upgrades with animal skins, for example, wasn’t a mechanic in Far Cry 5 anymore.
Under the cut are all the available source files, saved directly from the website, of the images you see in the screenshots:
Next to the flag above, on the right, is the (barely visible here) “intaglio” pattern, used in the background of most pages on the site.
Small and barely visible white eagle with a transparent background below.

Oooo I have one. What is your favourite lyric that describes Hotch, Emily and then them together??
The answer to this would change massively depending on when I'm asked haha but right now it's the following from Forever by Noah Kahan:
I won't be alone for the rest of my life I'll build a boat for when the river gets high And I'll meet a girl in the heat of July And I'll tell her so she knows
That I'm broke, but I'm real rich in my head That I broke a bone that never healed in my hand So, when I hold her close, I might loosen my grip But I won't ever let her go
It screams young hotchniss growing together <3

I hope it’s okay to ask this here: a few months I just completely lost all faith.
Late July/early August was when everything within me crashed in regard to manifesting/spirituality. I’ve been on this journey since July 2018, so I’m not new but I’ve never really had any success. I found out the fraud behind Abraham Hicks & her husband who was a distributor for the MLM Amway. But the thing that really hurt me was learning about Christian Science
Neville Goddard isn’t new age and I agree, but his work (and the new age movement) is branching off of the New Thought movement , and The New Thought Movement was a progression of the religion Christian Science. There’s this woman called Mary Baker Eddy, and she founded the religion “Christian Science”, and in that religion they believed that the body is an illusion as well as the senses (basically non-dual teachings), and they believed we are all made of perfect love. But they called sickness, disease, etc. an “error”. Instead of calling something lack, they said it was error. They did mental diets and refused medication, their faith didn’t heal them and there are so many deaths. it was the fastest growing religion at some point and now its almost completely dead.
here are some quotes from Mary Baker Eddy:
- “Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionately to their occupcany of your thoughts.”
- “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind, and its infinite manifestation, for God is All in All. Spirit is immortal Truth; Matter is mortal error.”
so like.. it sounds right doesn’t it? it sounds like what we would hear in the manifestation community and that scares me because why didn’t we learn from the massive flop that her religion was? She was secretly physically ill herself and even ran away to another state to escape all the troubles that the teachings were causing. I feel so upset.
People have died from extreme living in the end and there are still some people dying. And so it’s like: where do I go from here now?? I think about it nonstop and I just don’t know what to do, and I don’t wanna go back to my life before desired reality/LOA/LOASS
"They believed we are all made of perfect love."
"They did mental diets are refused medication."
"They called sickness and disease an error."
That's a cult.
Even a broken clock can be right twice a day. This lady can say all of the right things and hit all of the talking points and make so many people believe that she's the Messiah himself, and she would still be just a cult leader. She didn't invent a new religion, she didn't add anything else to the law of assumption or manifestation, she just conned people and got away with it.
This is where one's own personal discernment has to come into play. This is where you have to stop and analyze what people are saying and wonder "are they doing this to help people manifest their best lives or are they doing this for ulterior motives?" Because I don't know who this lady is, but I bet you that if I were to look her up, I'd see that she had some sort of course or class or retreat or a getaway where she made thousands if not millions of dollars to teach people how to "manifest" and then took that money and ran for the hills.
Anyone who tells you that we are made out of pure love and that we are perfect and in the image of perfection itself and that we are all part of God and God is perfect but then cannot explain sickness or disease or war or famine or crime or anything else wrong in our world is talking out of their ass. Because how can a perfect being make an error, much less one with this gravity?
Sickness, disease, war... those are not errors. Those are the natural consequences of the world we manifested for ourselves. At our original state, at our best, we are pure consciousness, we are the universe. But humans are far from perfect and humans are far from being pure love. We came here to experience the world and experiences require duality. if you needed to experience love you need to experience hate. If you wanted to experience peace you have to go through war. If you wanted to experience light you have to go through darkness. There is no error in the way our world works right now, it is the result of a collective manifestation of the rich and the powerful and the hungry. And while we as individuals control our own reality and yes, if you wanted to you would be in a reality where World peace was a thing and no war and no famine and no sickness whatsoever would take place. And if we all collectively decided that that's the world we wanted to live in, we could easily manifest it, but look at us, even when we learn about the law of assumption we're worried about SPs and money and perfect bodies and those of us who want better decide to shift. there is nothing wrong with any of that, it is part of the human experience that you craved so bad that you decided to give yourself a body and a mind and a soul in order to break off from the great Consciousness and come here on this planet at this time to live through it.
So how do we make peace with what we know?
If you are sick, you would start manifesting a healthy body. But in the meantime, is it wise that you refuse any and all medications and you deny that doctors may know better than you? Would you isolate yourself and refuse to take something that you know can help you? Isn't medicine the result of manifestation of thousands of not millions of people who did not have access to such great advances in their time? You can in fact take a pill for that headache, take a blood test to see if you are deficient in any vitamins or minerals, take that cough syrup to stop yourself from coughing your lungs out and affirm for a better healthier body all at the same time. One does not deny the other.
The basis of manifestation was never to shut yourself out from your 3D reality and live in the 4D 24/7. If you want something, you will go within, you imagine yourself having it, and then you go about living your life the best way you can knowing that what you want is already yours. It does not mean rotting in bed every day for months on end because you're convinced that the only way you will ever be happy is if you got that manifestation and everything else is not worth it. There has to be a balance because that is how the universe works. You manifest what you want and you experience what you have.
At the end of the day, spirituality requires that you carve your own experience away from what you see and hear. This is not a religion. There are no rules that you have to follow blindly in fear of eternal hell and damnation. This is your own personal path, and if something is not working for you you do not have to do it. If you think her teachings are right but her methods are wrong, you do not have to follow her methods at all. The law of assumption community took the teachings of Neville Goddard and some decided to stick with them as they were and some decided to create their own rules. And at the end of the day we are all manifesting because that's what the law assumption is, your assumptions create your reality. What you think works for you will work for you, what you think about will manifest.
Take everything you read and hear with a grain of salt and use your critical thinking skills to determine if something is worth your time or not. And at the end of the day, remember, this is only an experience.
I hope that helps.
Happy manifesting ❤️

Note: these are not in any order!
Of Lizards, Love & Laundry by @noxsoulmate
M | 13.8k
Nine sweet stories showing Carlos’s progression from tolerating Lou Two to dutifully accepting his role as proud lizard papá. This one is really soft, and shows how Carlos comes to love and appreciate Lou Two for the comfort and joy he brings to TK. Comes with some truly adorable art.
Ashes, Ashes by vaguenotion

Listen, this is the second Tarlos fic by the elusive author of the Greatest Story Ever Told, aka the fic. You know as soon as this one dropped I rallied the fan club (iykyk) and we devoured every word before our book club commenced. Expect all the deeply gorgeous descriptions, quippy one-liners and lingering tension we love from this author. Judd inhales some hallucinogenics on a call, which send him on a bad trip causing him to hurt TK. The story of healing and brotherhood is so, so good. Plus, the best description of Mateo I’ve ever seen: “[he looks] like the kind of guy who would wear JNCO jeans.”
one night (and the rest of our lives) by falloutmars (is this person on tumblr? Drop the @ if you know!)

Tarlos reflects on their first official date, the first time TK called Carlos baby (outside the bedroom 👀). Very soft and sweet!! And a surprise ending.
I ramble my way home by @ladytessa74
M | 32k
This one is as sweet as peach pie! After his relapse, TK goes to stay with a retired Owen who now owns a peach orchard. Judd, Carlos and Marjan work at the orchard. The Strand family vibes are sweet, Judd and TK brotherhood is utterly endearing. And the Tarlos of it all is so tender. There’s adventure, a little grief and even a treasure hunt! Also Buttercup.

(Disclaimer: I beta’ed this one). He/they TK. This is such an important story and it’s told SO WELL. The gentleness and care with which these characters are handled, the time taken to really show the journey that TK takes in his self-discovery journey — every single step of the way through a difficult conversation with Carlos. It’s all so well done, and the reader is right there with him. This kind of representation is super important, and I think doing it with such a beloved character like TK is a really great way to introduce these topics to folks who may otherwise be unfamiliar.
Sweet Dreams and Flying Machines by @carlos-in-glasses

Listen, don’t make the same mistake I did and choose the wrong soundtrack for this. Fat Boy Slim was a mistake. I realized this early on. This one needs something a little more downtempo, maybe a nice Portishead or some Massive Attack. Anyway! This is a beautiful, heartbreaking, vivid story about trauma and grief, and how terrible events can somehow lead to the most amazing things. Cig weaves so much detail and backstory into this story we already know so well, and characters we love so much, and still finds ways to weave humor in, which I think really enhances the story. The dichotomy of grief and joy, terrible events leading to beautiful life moments, the sunbeam on a stormy day.
our corner of time by @theghostofashton
T | 1.7k
We love a good outsider POV around these parts. In this one Owen watches TK with Carlos, and revels in his son’s joy and the love with which Carlos takes care of him. And isn’t that everything we want for our sweet boy?
In My Time of Need by @spaghett-onaplate
G | 2.2k
STOP THIS ONE IS SO CUTE AND FUNNY. AU meet cute. Carlos and TK are neighbors in an apartment building, and a lizard is on the loose in Carlos’s apartment and he …doesn’t react well. Cue TK to the rescue.
Querencia by @bonheur-cafe
G | 500
Lovely little glimpse at an early morning in the Tarloft.
“Carlos takes his hand like it’s bathed in gold, kissing the pulse point on his wrist, feeling TK's own heartbeat under his lips before trailing the kisses up towards his palm. He places the last one on his ring.”
I MEAN!!!!
The Calling by @orchidscript
M | 10k
TK takes the lead on developing and testing a new, more compassionate method for reviving opioid overdose patients — a new way of administering narcan that wakes patients softly rather than the abrupt shock of traditional narcan. This story does a great job of capturing the sweet, compassionate boy that is TK Strand. When Carlos is the responding officer on an overdose call, he has to assist TK with a patient revival and he’s left in awe of witnessing his kindness, gentleness and compassion.

Soft, sweet little look at a moment in the Tarloft right after TK comes home after waking up in Push. This is a really lovely exploration of Carlos’s dueling emotions during this time, relief and joy, but also residual heartbreak and uncertainty about how to treat each other.

I loved as if you were a mythical thing and I love that it’s getting a sequel! You MUST read the first fic first. Carlos is an author living in a tiny coastal town in Maine, he meets and falls for his reclusive neighbor TK. What could happen next?
As always, this is not in any way a comprehensive list of all the good stuff that came out in September. This is the stuff that I was able to read and vibed with. This is a way for me to hype the stories that got me excited this month, and I encourage everybody to be intentional in reblogging fics and screaming about the stuff you’re reading and enjoying all month long. Let’s work to build this fandom into a more inclusive and encouraging place to create! Also, caveat that the Gabriel grief stuff is tough for me, so I’ve been avoiding and/or very slowly making my way through those ones.

lewis hamilton, p1, is interviewed during the post-race press conference [part 3/3], britain - july 7, 2024 (transcript under the cut)
NOT SHOWN: Journalist: "Justin Allen, The Sun. Just a light-hearted question for all three of you, if I may. Obviously this is the start of a massive week of Dutch-English rivalry, with a certain football match on Thursday night. Can I just ask the three of you, are you looking forward to the match, and where are you going to be watching it, and what words of advice or encouragement would you give to your respective teams?" Lewis: "To the Brits, I think yesterday was a really good showing. It was a really great time today, or this weekend, for British sports. And the penalties, obviously, were amazing last night. I actually have never sat… I've been in a pub, growing up, watching a match, but sitting last night, watching with twenty-plus thousand people was really, really incredible, and I'm grateful I had that experience with George. And then, yeah, I think really just we all wished them the best. I'm sure they will want to play better and they will know what they need to do. They will know that they will probably want to elevate their game. And lots of learnings from every single game, just as like we have from every single race, so I will be with them and I'm sure everyone will be out in full force." [time jump] Journalist: "Ben Hunt, Autosport. Question for Lewis: You mentioned the emotion and never crying before. Do you think this is part of the healing process? So after what happened in '21, this is the final piece in the jigsaw to help you get over what happened there, to compartmentalize it and be able to move on?" Lewis: "I mean, I think there's a long-winded question. [long pause] I think only time will tell. What I can say is that I'm not giving up. I feel like I'm making the right decisions with my life, with how I prepare and how I manage my time; the decision I've taken, for example, for next year, the commitment I still have to this team, and the love that I still have for this team, and the love that I still have for my job. I really, really love this job, and there's never going to be anything that comes close to it, and it's something I'm incredibly grateful for, to be in amongst these twenty drivers, within this great sport that's having such a momentous time. We just had the launch of the trailer of the movie today. I do hope… Honestly, when I came back in 2022, I thought that I was over it, and I know I wasn't, and it's taken a long time, for sure, to heal that kind of feeling. And that's only natural for anyone that has that experience, and I've just been continuing to try and work on myself and find that inner peace, day by day."
Interviewer: "Thank you. More?" Journalist: "Tom Carey, Telegraph. Another one for Lewis: Obviously we know how much you're looking forward to going to Ferrari next year. It's going to be an amazing move for you. But is there an element of bittersweet, winning that with a team based locally in Brackley in front of your home fans and realizing how much you're giving up, leaving them just as they're coming back to the front, as well?" Lewis: "No. I think when we started the season and we had a car where we weren't going anywhere near Red Bull, for example, anywhere near looking like we would ever get a win through the year, that, for me, felt like it would be kind of bittersweet at the end of the season, where you've not had something like today. And the fact that we've really all come together… Everyone's done such a great job to get the car into a place where we're feeling much more comfortable, and really changes from the foundation from last year. So not leaving on a low, but leaving on a high, which has been our goal. There's still a long, long way to go, but the car… And by no means is the car the quickest car on the grid right now. I think we are super close and I think hopefully with the next upgrade perhaps we will be in an even stronger position to really, really be fighting for the front row more consistently." Interviewer: "Thank you. Yes?" Journalist: "Tim Hauraney, TSN. Question for Lewis: Lewis, congratulations. We've seen you win a lot over your career. Given where the car started at the beginning of the season, and then also this being your last time around with Mercedes, where does this victory stand for you?" Lewis: "Well, you know I have a really bad memory, but, honestly, I'm really very much about living in the present, and this does feel… I don't feel like I'm able to compare this one to any other, to be honest. I had so many great moments, and moments where I didn't think that I was going to be able to win, like the first grand prix win here in 2008. I qualified terribly… Well, P4, but it felt like I wasn't in with a shot to winning the grand prix, and then it rained, and obviously I had that great feeling.
So many moments, through the… I think being at your home grand prix… That's the longest stint that I've not had a win, 945 days, and the emotion that's accumulated over that time… So this one could be one of the most special ones for me, I think, if not the most special one." Interviewer: "Thank you. Yes! Another one." Journalist: "Hi! Weian Mao, Formula Vision. A question for Lewis: On this weekend, 1954, Mercedes scored its first Formula 1 victory. Just want to share your thoughts on this aspect. Also, as we know, you are moving onto Ferrari next year, but in the future, maybe do you still have some unfinished stories with Mercedes off-track, maybe?" Lewis: "Well… 1954? I mean, what car… That would have been in the W197, maybe? I can't remember which car that would have been. But yeah, the heritage at Mercedes is legendary, and I'm very fortunate to have been a part of Mercedes for this last eighteen years. Actually, more than that. Twenty-plus years, because they started supporting me when I was thirteen, so… But obviously every grand prix win that I've had, the 104 has been with Mercedes, powered by Mercedes, and something that I will always be grateful to have been a part of."

The New Moon In Cancer Wants You To Get Sentimental
The first new moon of summer is here and on 5th July at 11:57 p.m., the new moon in Cancer wants us to get sentimental. Although it sounds easy in theory, Cancer is a zodiac sign that takes time to embrace novel ideas, experiences and relationships. Once the crab does, they’ll reveal a bright, hot heart full of love, loyalty and creativity. Cancers do things in their own time so be patient during this lunation because it could take a minute to see our lives evolve for the better — but they certainly will.
New moons initiate the lunar cycle every month. The sun and moon align in the sky, making the moon invisible to the naked eye. We call this the dark moon. Being that the new (and dark) moon is the first of the lunar phases, it’s a moment when we can set intentions and share our dreams for the weeks ahead. If you want to set forth on a new chapter in life or jump-start an endeavour, the new moon would be the time to do so. Manifesting can lead to big payoffs when set during the new moon.
Since the new moon is in the sign of Cancer, which is ruled by the moon, this lunation is a moment in which our emotions, intuition and sense of self will force us to make decisions based on what our gut feelings tell us. Finding and igniting a connection to ourselves on a deep level will allow us to evolve, grow and transcend effervescently with the new moon. This is a moment in which we’ll find what energy and desire resides in our hearts. Doing what makes us truly happy, for the first time in a while, will make us feel as though we can amplify our passions, moving towards our wishes and objectives.
With Cancer being a nostalgic sign, we might want to look back at childhood activities that brought us joy. What dreams stick out from our youth? What did we want to pursue? Who did we want to be? Thinking and reflecting upon these quandaries could lead us to understand what we want to change and add to our lives. Not only that, but it’ll give us the chance to heal our past. The presence of the centaur Chiron (who’s known as the wounded healer), as well as the asteroids Juno (the protector of the home, among other things), Ceres (the asteroid of unconditional love) and Pallas (who brings wisdom), will help us love and appreciate our shadow self and inner child, allowing us to stop the ongoing cycle of familial trauma or at least see the patterns as they are happening.
Action planet Mars in Taurus and Saturn retrograde in Pisces both aspect the new moon, pushing us towards excellence at our own pace. Mars in Taurus doesn’t move as swiftly as other signs but there is a calmness in not taking impulsive steps to keep things moving. Saturn’s backward spin allows us to boss up and evaluate the decisions we are forced to make from the square the new moon is undergoing from the fraught aspect it shares with the Nodes of Destiny.
The fixed stars Sirius and Canopus connect with the new moon. Sirius wants us to shake up our lives by getting out of our comfort zones. Letting go of our fears and old ways of thinking will allow us to see all the possibilities that lie ahead. Canopus brings fame but not without emotional baggage and tests. We may not like the effects our choices have on those we love, which can lead to us looking for a new path during the new moon.
Even though we are making moves and taking action, we aren’t doing so in a frenzy. We are focusing on what is right for us and homing in on how we can make it possible. Everything that is worthwhile in life doesn’t happen overnight. Planting seeds now will lead to massive changes and success in the future. Don’t rush the process.

I am intrigued by papes, please tell me more :>
ohhhhh ok, so this is my first attempt at merging tbitb with the newsies world and it has quickly gotten away from me. I had the first ideas for it back in June/July I think but other than a whole lot of bullet points, I've only written 2k or so. It is about Don being somewhat orphaned and coming into the Brooklyn faction of the newsie community. Bobby's the ringleader of the group of ragtag youth with his own painful background. There's a young oc who kind of gets attached to Don and brings a level of healing to his life. I have rough sketches for each of the boat boys to have a part in the story and some kind of background, some larger than others. My ideas for it have become kind of complex and if I really wanted to let it all come together, I think I'd have a pretty massive story.
Thank you for asking!! <3 <3
#I really don't know what is going to happen to this one#but I am not getting rid of it because I have thought about it SO much#my wip fics#wip ask game#tbitb

i have become massively obsessed with twenty one pilots again and i feel it is healing for little 7 year old me who loved them which is sweet. maybe i should go and see them live next year? that would be so fun. i still have my trench hoodie from album release too and i think i will have to wear it all the time now. their older music is actually so good but i don’t really like scaled and icy, i have not fully listened to clancy yet but i have higher hopes because of its continuity from trench.
i think this picture with my snorlax plushie is actually so cute.

Transiting Jupiter stations retrograde
Timeline (current events in bold)
Monday, July 15, 2024, 14:45 UT - transiting Jupiter enters pre-retrograde shadow, 11°17’ Gemini
Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 07:05 UT - transiting Jupiter stations retrograde, 21°20’ Gemini
Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 09:17 UT - transiting Jupiter stations direct, 11°17’ Gemini
Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 20:10 UT - transiting Jupiter exits post-retrograde shadow, 21°20’ Gemini
+++***===***+++
We know that Jupiter isn’t comfortable in Gemini, its “detriment” - ie, the sign opposed to the sign it rules, Sagittarius. Mr. “Look at the Big Picture” isn’t crazy about paying attention to all the details.
First, Jupiter Rx can temporarily dry up resources - or, we get an unexpected massive expense to pay off. Since it’s Gemini, maybe there’s some sloppy bookkeeping or something similar? (Especially for people with Jupiter connected natally or by transit to the 2nd &/or 8th Houses.)
Next, there may also be some sloppiness &/or delays around all levels of education, preschool to grad school. Some of us may discover some gaping hole in our education - we didn’t need that knowledge before, but we do now.
Issues with our voice may crop up. With Jupiter, the issue may be “too much” - we need to listen more.
The October and November aspects sort of flow into one another:
Saturday, October 12 - Jupiter Rx/Gemini sextile Chiron Rx/Aries, 21°19’. First of three, followed closely by:
Saturday, November 2 - Jupiter Rx/Gemini sextile Chiron Rx/Aries, 20°27’. Second of three. These are wonderful for setting a kind of “theme” for the Jupiter Rx process: we want to heal and get better! Watch for opportunities to learn.
Allow maybe a week on either side of these aspects:
Friday, December 12 - Jupiter Rx/Gemini (15°31’) sesquiquad Pluto/Aquarius (0°31’). Second of three; the first pass matured back on August 7, at almost exactly the same degree and minute. We may be pushing too hard to manifest something whose time isn’t now. Power struggles pop up. The third pass is next year, April 16.
Tuesday, December 24 - Jupiter Rx/Gemini square Saturn/Pisces, 14°01’. Second of three; #1 was back on August 17. On a global scale, this is the struggle to manifest for the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction back on December 21, 2020. Lots of distractions, false prophets, delusions - it’s hard to know where to start. The third square happens on June 15, 2025, but in different signs - Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn in Aries.

Five Ships In Five Fandoms
Thanking @tallangrycockatiel for the tag!
Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale, Teen Wolf
What can I say about them that hasn't been said a thousand times before by people more eloquent than I. A classic. The ultimate comfort ship.
Cyrano/Roxane/Christian, Cyrano De Bergerac
Cannot overstate the hold these three have on my heart! One of the most excruciating canon endings of all time. I can think about them endlessly. Just rotating them forever in my mind. The Cyrano/Christian kiss from the National Theatre 2022 production lives rent free in my brain. If I loved them less I might be able to talk about them more etc etc.
Lord Peter Wimsey/Harriet Vane, the Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries
One of the slowest burns of all time. Starts with absolute clownery, the tragedy in the absurd of asking a woman on trial for the murder of her previous lover to marry you, continues with the spikiest most resentful discoveries of drift compatibility, the get-together comprises an entire book's worth of meditations on gratitude (the hatefulness thereof), inequality of gender class and intellect, whether intellectual honesty is more important than romantic loyalty (and/or one's continued ability to feed oneself), musical metaphors for relationship dynamics (anybody may have the harmony if they leave us the counterpoint!!!!!), and of course the massive continuity of ducks.
Cliopher Mdang/Fitzroy Angursell, Nine Worlds
OK actually maybe i take it back, strongest contender for slowest burn of all time??? In that these fuckers have been dancing around each other for something close to 1000 years (not a joke not an exaggeration time is fucky here). Although tbf. Tbqf&h. To be brutally Frank and Esme. I'm not sure I count those 1000 years in that we (the readers) were not actually there to witness that. But still. Where do I even start with these two.
That feeling when you've been installed as a puppet-god-king against your will for over a hundred years unable to choose your food or drink, experience sunlight, or touch another person (because if you do they will literally and immediately immolate because of magic curses) and although this would be cruel to do to anyone it is particularly cruel to do to you, nameless child and infamous anarchist poet revolutionary whose work shook the empire to its very foundations, and then you are finally sent a competent secretary who proceeds to steal your empire out from under you, dismantle it completely, institute universal basic income, universal housing, universal education, fix the post office, provide you with ships that fly?!?!, audit all of your government offices until every single speck of corruption is gone, end a world war and prevent there from every being another one, and all the while is humming your most treasonous song cycle under his breath for fully a thousand years. Oh and then he also journeys into myth and legend, through sky ocean to the house of the sun, essentially to barter fire from the gods, because he thinks he's not good enough for you.
Also such a wonderful nuanced portrayal of an ace/queerplatonic/this relationship-is-what-we-decide-it-is-but-the-most-important-thing-is-that-you're-it-for-me relationship. It's very queer. They're working it out as they go. It will break your heart and heal your heart. I cannot even.
Thara Celehar/Iana Pel-Thenhior, Cemeteries of Amalo
Another they are taking it so so slowly and I am all about it. There's a theme here somewhere I just know it. Sad wet cat detective man with life-destroying trauma talks to dead people, stray cats and this one guy who writes riot-causing opera and very gently invites him to dinner occasionally and helps him solve murder cases. We are two books in and they've only just a) held hands once and b) started using informal you to refer to each other. It's exquisite, I'm in hell.
No pressure tagging @ereborne @july-19th-club @morkaischosen @trans-cuchulainn and anyone else who's interested :)
#tag games#goingspare rambles#also tallangrycockatiel is absolutely right about seven/belanna absolute dynamite ship one day i will finish writing the giant frankenfic
