im sorry for the non-voltron related question, but im curious !! who are your favorites from genshin impact & honkai star rail???

Genshin faves:

Kazuha was a mainstay on my team for like a solid two years but then Sumeru came out and I became a dendro main 💔 last year’s summer island event had me in my feelings so deeply, you have no idea

I think Alhaitham is one of the funniest characters ever. I love characters who would piss me off if they were real. Probably my best built character even though I use Harbinger of Dawn on him

Kaveh. I’m sorry I’m not immune to babygirl Kaveh propaganda 💔 they’re doing crazy things to this guy’s ****** on Twitter. I don’t actually use Kaveh though because I’m terrible at bloom comp

Honestly I love all of the Sumeru characters so so so much the 3.0-3.2 story was just so damn good. I am obsessed with the Tighnari&Collei&Cyno found family dynamic. I honestly don’t care about Fontaine LMAO I want to stay in Sumeru

Right now my main team is Zhongli (shield) Alhaitham (main DPS) Nahida (sub-Dendro) Raiden Shogun (E bot).

Star Rail faves:

SR is still pretty new so my favorite characters are basically the ones that I like using the most.

Jing Yuan is my best built character. The amount of time I spent on relic farming ohmygod. I also have his signature weapon 😎 one day I would like to e1 him. Story wise I think he’s a really funny character and I also love his English voice actor so much

I think Asta is such a funny character and she has managed to surprise me a couple of times in some of the space station star quest. Also she is just so damn useful as a support character and I need to build her more

I’m obsessed with the Blade & Dan Heng dynamic. I haven’t started the latest story quest yet so no spoilers plsss. I pulled Blade on the first day of his banner but I have 0 resources for him so he hits like a wet napkin rn but that’s okay baby take your time. I’m now saving up to hopefully get Dan Heng IL 🤞🏼🤞🏼

So far I’ve had pretty good luck on my pulls ❤️❤️ I got I think Gepard? i forgor exactly when I tried pulling for Seele but I was able to get JY pretty early on and I won the 50/50 for LC and Blade 💯💯 god I hope I get IL. no I have no idea what team to put him in

Obviously my team changes around a lot depending on the enemy weakness but generally I run Clara/Gepard, Jing Yuan as main DPS, Luocha as healer, Asta as support

Top 5 Memories (from MSQ, raiding, with your FC, anything!) ((this seems like such a fun one~))

Of course!

1.) I ran maps with a bunch of Tumblr friends recently, I say recently but it was a couple months ago. Anywho, it was super fun AND it was the first time I ever made it to the bottom!

2.) Getting through The Aitiascope for the first time. Don't get me wrong I was emotional throughout the whole dungeon, but the moment I saw Shiva at the end in the fight against Amon I was in tears.

3.) I have a lot of very great memories recently cuz I've been going through MSQ with my friend Bird. She has a thing for fairies/the fae and so going through Il Mheg was a delight, hearing her squee and giggle with delight. Seeing this game make such an impact on other people is one of the reasons it's one of my all time favorites.

4.) The entirety of patch 5.3. Like I can't even begin to describe the emotions I felt. Heroes' Gauntlet was amazing, The Seat of Sacrifice was amazing, we got To the Edge! Just so much cool shit in one patch! (I was also terrified we were gonna lose G'raha. 😭)

5.) The Healer Role Quests in Endwalker. I'm gonna be real I love Fordola, she is a great character and seeing her fight to redeem herself of her past sins and actually get to be a person and not just a soldier makes my heart swell. She was a literal child soldier and she made many mistakes doing what she thought was right, now she gets to atone.

The Uncanny Counter (2020)

All you really need are noodles and comic books. And this show has both!

This show was the break I needed from super serious drama-land. It's got pretty good action, some nice urban fantasy vibes, and a cast that seemed to be having alot of fun with their roles. The premise is a little bonkers, but that's fine too.

What Worked

The cast really made this work. The leads were fun and all had great chemistry together and the villains were just scary, both the human and the supernatural ones. In fact, I think the writing for the villains was better than the heroes, and what kept me hooked on the show.

What Didn't Work

There weren't any real issues with the show, it succeeded at making the kind of show it set out to be, but the writing felt extremely comic book. And not always in a good way. We had a literal Joseph Campbell "hero" arc in the first two episodes. There was a character who was almost, but not quite, fridged in a series with multiple fakeout deaths. There were about 4-5 episodes where you could tell they were filling out time and ran out of story arc.

I'm pointing this out because overall I really enjoyed the show. I just wish it could have been a little bit better. But they're planning on making a second series, and hopefully that will go somewhere good!

The Performances

Jo Byung-gyu as So Mun. Pretty much the title hero of this comic book show, he did an amazing job of selling both the young high school arc and the supernatural / super hero stuff. I can't complain about the acting, though I do have some quibbles with the "chosen one" writing arc. There are very few scenes that are weak, it's just the overall direction they took the character that felt a little cliche.

Yoo Jun-sang as Ga Mo-tak. He plays a former detective who had amnesia after a ten story fall. Seven years later, he's coming back from the dead to seek vengeance on the criminals who stole his life away.

What I'm saying is this role could easily have turned super campy, but the actor made it work really well. I liked his arc better than the main story for the most part (except for the stupid not-quite-fridging).

Kim Se-jeong as Do Ha-na. I've only seen her in Business Proposal and I liked her much better in this role. She had pretty good comic timing in Business Proposal and she plays it almost completely straight here, and again does a good job with a character that has some potential campiness.

Yeom Hye-ran as Choo Mae-ok. I loved this character, but then I play a healer in most of the RPGs I run, so it makes sense. I liked her role in When the Camilla Blooms but it's nice to see her play someone a little less grumpy. (**spoiler**) Her character was a victim of a number of fakeout deaths, which I didn't like, but I think I would have rioted if they killed her, so it's kind of a tough call.

Choi Yoon-young as Kim Jeong-yeong. The actor did a good job making a side character interesting and she had great chemistry with Yoo Jun-sang. They could have done so much more with this character, but (**spoilers**) they killed her off instead. It kind of annoyed me, though they didn't treat the character like a cheap action movie death, which is something.

Ahn Suk Hwan as Chairman Choi. I had fun watching this character and you could tell the actor did too. Not particularly deep or interesting, but very colorful and the show was better when he showed up.

Lee Hong-nae as Ji Chung-sin. This guy played an amazing creepy villain. The writing put the character right on the edge of the line of campy horror, but he kept it from getting ridiculous, and I got literal chills a few times.

Ok Ja-yeon as Baek Hyang-hui. This character was meant to be a little campy, entertaining at times, but campy. And the actress did a good job following the brief. I can't say I enjoyed watching her, but I never got bored.

Choi Kwang-il as Shin Myung-hwi. He starts out as a kind of cardboard villain, but did a good job leaning into the horror elements at the end of the show.

The High School Kids. This is one of the things that the show got really right, tone-wise. The way the bullies took over the school was completely bonkers, and there were no adults anywhere pretty much, but that's kind of how the world feels when you're a teenager. All of the relationships and rivalries feel like these world changing events, and all of the grownups feel a bit like the adults in a Charlie Brown cartoon. The actors all did a great job with this.

The Street Thugs. I liked the rivalries here with Mo-tak. They were campy when they needed to be and scary when they were supposed to be (especially at the start of the series). Mostly they're just mooks, but they're entertaining mooks.

TL; DR:

This show is fun, and scary, and sad when it needs to be, but it's impossible to take seriously, which is why I enjoyed it!

Surprise! Healer is one of my all time favorite dramas and this man has one of my all time favorite faces. He gives the sweetest heart eyes, can handle heavier emotional scenes, and most of the main roles I’ve seen him in are puppies with grumpy exteriors which he does so well. His latest drama choices haven’t been great (older posts in his tag can tell you more) but his swoon factor makes the mediocre ones worthwhile!

This man is an insanely wonderful, versatile actor (plus a total dork on season 4 of 2 Days 1 Night!) and I can’t wait for all he has in store for us.

Ezio got injured a lot, he belonged to the Creed so getting his fair share scars came with the territory but it seemed that the Italian man would go out of his way to get himself injured just so he could get some attention or affection from you.

You were told by Claudia that he was quite good at not getting himself injured...most of the time. Until you came a long, you joined Ezio’s little brotherhood not long ago but you’ve been an assassin you’re entire life thanks to your family.

But once Ezio caught your eye and the moment you saved his life he was absolutely smitten with you. It seemed that the man push away his other conquests so he could only focus on you and tonight seemed like one of those nights.

“Mia signora”

“What is it now Ezio?”

The man seemed to have perked up the moment you mentioned his name but he suddenly sagged his body as his arm wrapped around his waist. “I seemed to have injured my waist...can you check it for me?”

Suppressing the urge to roll your eyes you placed your hands on your hips. “You do know that I am not a proper healer Ezio...you should see a real doctor.”

“Ma il mio amore....only you have the magical hands that can help me..” Letting out a rather dramatic sigh the man collapsed into the chair that was near by.

“Then take of your shirt and I will see what I can do.” Rather pleased with your answer he quickly disrobed of his top layer of clothing as he tried to look seductive ass possible. 

Gathering your supplies you nearly dropped them on the ground spotting the gash on his side. “Ezio! what did you do!.”

“What! so some idiota caught me by surprise! I’m fine now that you are here to treat me.”

Shaking your head you scowled as you started to clean out the wound. “You are lucky this did not get infected.” Stitching it up you heard the man hiss through his teeth. “You don’t get to complain.”

“Hmp.”

Finishing bandaging the man’s newest wound you let one of your fingers trace a few scars on his chest. Sighing you then stood up cleaning the blood of your hands with a wet rag.

“Their! done...you are now good to go.”

“But...Y/n! don’t I get a kiss...for being such a good patient.” Giving you a pout, Ezio sat up from his chair. 

Lips twitching into a smile you shook your head for a moment.”Fine.” Leaning forward you grasped his chin in your fingers.Giving a kiss to the scar above his lips you then pulled back giving him a smile as the man seemed to be in a daze.

Waving him off you let out a laugh slipping out the door. “W-wait Y/n! Don’t go!! that wasn’t a kiss!. Y/n!.”

*Kicks down door, a stranger and a fool* You've mentioned in some fics and posts that Hanami has an aurum regis horn prosthetic; How did she lose her original horn, and does it's absence hinder her in any way?

welcome fellow fool!!!! and strangers are always welcome to kick down my internet door. (especially strangers with such cute lalas!)

hanami’s left horn was shattered at the end of her fight with zenos in the 4.56 solo duty. the crystal exarch’s prank call from beyond the aetherial sea came at the exact wrong moment, and not even estinien was fast enough to intervene before zenos had broken it off. auri horns (and tails, for that matter) do grow back eventually, and it’s not unheard of for them to be injured, but hanami had the bad fortune to be taken straight to temple knight chirurgeons, who--because they didn’t know better--treated it like you would treat any other (exposed) broken bone, by keeping it covered and damp. unlike other bones, though, auri horns are hollow, and by the time they got ahold of a healer who did know better she already had the beginnings of a bone infection.

she was definitely hindered by its absence; she pretty much had to learn to walk again, since having your inner ear knocked off makes balancing kind of, uh, hard. she’s recovered pretty well, considering, but there are some things she still can’t or won’t do: she no longer wears heeled boots, at least not when she knows she’s going to get into a fight, since she still doesn’t feel steady enough on her feet to get away with it like she used to; she wears leather wraps around her prosthetic horn, not because it doesn’t fit well but because it resonates differently than a real horn would and she gets migraines from certain noises, especially any sort of ringing-metal sounds. the pixies put bells on everything and il mheg was her personal hell.

also, i originally picked aurum regis for her horn because the heavensward gsm quests specifically mention that it’s used in music boxes for its purity of sound, but @windupnamazu pointed out to me later that aurum regis is also pink, which is so funny i wish i had actually done it on purpose.

The K-Drama Book Tag

Leggo poco e male, la sera mi sparo drama su drama in call appassionate con le mie amiche del Team Drama Club e insieme a loro abbiamo anche organizzato una challenge su IG (seguitemi sul mio profilo, @anncleire per vedere le meraviglie create da Chiara). Mentre cercavo ispirazione per un post qui sul blog, perché non leggendo non ho al momento tantissime recensioni da scrivere, mi è venuto in mente di unire le passioni del momento, in un’unica soluzione: un book tag, è da un po’ che non ne faccio uno e mi divertono sempre un sacco. Speravo di trovarne uno già messo in piedi, in realtà, ma dopo una breve ricerca in quel di Google non ho trovato quello che stavo cercando, un Book Tag che unisse i kdrama con i libri, sostanzialmente le categorie definite tramite i drama coreani di cui ormai sono ossessionata (si, ho un problema, lo so, ma sorvoliamo) e quindi sono finita a costruirmelo a mia immagine e somiglianza il mio THE K-DRAMA BOOK TAG con alcuni dei miei drama preferiti.

L’ultimo libro che mi ha reso una fangirl è sicuramente La storia delle api di Maja Lunde che mi ha portato addirittura al Festivaletteratura di Mantova per due giorni per incontrarla. Oramai chi mi segue da tempo sa che ho una leggerissima ossessione per i libri che parlano di api e anche questo non fa eccezione, è un racconto straordinario che lega epoche diverse in un passaggio avvincente e incredibilmente ben costruito, che pone l’attenzione su tante problematiche che affliggono la società moderna e che potrebbero distruggere il mondo così come lo conosciamo. Un lucido disegno di un mondo distopico fin troppo reale. Il meraviglioso intreccio di tre vite, indissolubilmente legate dal fil rouge delle api e della vita, in un racconto organico e variopinto, che esce dagli schemi e urla la premura di non distruggere un ecosistema e un mondo con l’avventatezza di migliaia di piccoli gesti. Un mondo fugace e irresistibile, che non è solo intrattenimento, ma anche monito, per una storia vividissima e indimenticabile.

Un libro di narrativa contemporanea in cui riconoscerti

Probabilmente non è il mio libro preferito, anzi, probabilmente una certa parte di me lo ha odiato profondamente, però Parlarne tra amici di Sally Rooney fotografa bene in pieno un’intera generazione ancorata perfettamente al mondo dell’internet, nerd, con un mare di passioni, proiettata verso il futuro, fortemente tecnologica e allo stesso tempo con chiaro in testa il senso dell’analogico. Il ritratto di una intera generazione, quei millennials precari e contraddittori che cercano di sopravvivere come meglio possono, incostanti e provocatori, e allo stesso tempo incredibilmente fragili e confusi. Leggendo di Frances mi sono resa conto di quanto il nostro vissuto sia universale, come i miei dubbi e le mie paure sono gli stessi dei miei coetanei, di quanto sia difficile superare certi schemi mentali, di quanto sia facile cadere vittime dell’insoddisfazione e di comportamenti meschini e di egoismi tutti umani.

Un libro o una saga sci-fi piena di colpi di scena

Ho pensato molto a cosa mettere in questa categoria e non posso non citare La Trilogia dell’Area X di Jeff VanderMeer (Annientamento – Autorità – Accettazione). Io me ne sono invaghita dopo aver visto diverse recensioni positive e la parte sci-fi unita a quella post-apocalittica mi hanno convinta che fosse il libro giusto per me. Una storia pazzesca, consumante, che tiene desta l’attenzione, arzigogolata, dal ritmo incalzante, un vortice di informazioni e descrizioni accuratissime, che sconvolge e inquieta, lasciando a bocca aperta il lettore, incredulo e sconcertato. Tantissime domande che non hanno ancora risposta, per un primo volume stupefacente. Bramo gli altri volumi, per immergermi ancora nei segreti dell’Area X. Per chi vive di scienza e per chi di scienza non capisce niente.

La perfetta bromance su cui fangirlare

Dovevo infilare in un TAG la mia adorata, ma lo farò evitando di citare sempre il mio Divino. Una delle bromance che più mi piacciono è quella che troviamo ne La spia del mare di Virginia de Winter. Cassian ha il fascino del maledetto e i modi da nobile d’altri tempi, un uomo di cui innamorarsi senza possibilità di scampo. Nonostante il suo essere scorbutico e un solitario votato al masochismo di mesi trascorsi a rincorrere un sogno, Cassian non è solo, ma accompagnato da tre fedelissimi amici e compagni di missione, un gruppo di spavaldi giovani alla ricerca di gloria e passatempi per sfuggire alla noia. El Cid, Manuel, un giovane nobile spagnolo scappato da uno scandalo innominabile, accompagnato sempre da una schiera di Mori pronti a sfoderare rinfreschi in qualunque posto e in qualunque condizione. Un giovanissimo e impertinente Casanova, pronto a sfoderare il suo fascino per piegare la volontà di chiunque, e il mio preferito del trio, Monsieur un elegantissimo giovane francese, sempre accompagnato dai suoi spiriti, da sussurri, da modi galanti e da quella superiorità tipica dei cugini d’oltralpe che irretisce e inganna.

Un libro o una saga dal finale perfetto

Non potrei immaginarmi nessun altro finale per Vani Sarca di quello racchiuso in quello racchiuso in Un caso speciale per la ghostwriter di Alice Basso. niziata nel 2015, ma scoperta da me solo nel 2017 perché sono un po’ scema, la serie segue le avventure di una ghostwriter, come da titolo, in una Torino contemporanea e ricco, e i legami che crea con le persone che la circondano. Alice Basso ha il dono di costruire con ironia e sagacia un intero mondo, a cui è davvero difficile dire addio. Per fortuna che c’è la rilettura. La fine perfetta insomma per un’avventura intensa, in cui le risate si accompagnano agli abbracci. Alice Basso è riuscita a coniugare una storia speciale in cui perdersi, per cercare il mistero e la commedia, il sarcasmo e le lacrime, la forza e la determinazione, perché in fondo la vita è un mix di esperienze in cui “né uragani né tormente ci potranno fare niente”.

Healer

Un protagonista dalla doppia vita

Ho solo un libro chiaro in mente per questa categoria. I cieli di Sandra Newman e non ve lo posso neanche spoilerare troppo. Kate, la protagonista, è una ragazza come potrebbero essercene tante in mondo che si sta affacciando nel nuovo millennio, quel 2000 che nella nostra epoca è stato infestato dal mostro del Millennium Bug, ma che per Kate si affaccia in un mondo migliore. Sembra un’utopia, un miraggio, un sogno. Ma poi Kate si addormenta e si risveglia nel corpo e nelle intenzioni di Emilia, una giovane artista italiana trapiantata nell’Inghilterra di fine Cinquecento. Una storia incerta e assoluta, la sovrapposizione di così tanti layer, di così tante decisioni, che è il risultato probabilmente anche delle interpretazioni del lettore. A tratti angosciante e a tratti illuminante, I Cieli è una storia da leggere in un fiato.

La perfetta protagonista da amare

Avrei la protagonista perfetta per questo libro, ma non posso dirvela ancora. Perciò mi tocca ripiegare su Ead una delle protagoniste de Il priorato dell’albero delle arance di Samantha Shannon. Entrare nel mondo della Shannon è una scommessa perché non sai di preciso se ne uscirai tutto intero, si tratta di una storia lunga ottocento pagine e potrebbe intimidire da più punti di vista. Le immagini che la scrittrice riesce ad evocare entrano dentro e superano le barriere della pagina scritta per fagocitare completamente il lettore. È un fantasy di vecchio stampo, con un mondo completamente estraneo al nostro, ma che allo stesso tempo lo richiama vuoi per usanze, vuoi per cibi, vuoi per i luoghi. Le leggende si intrecciano per creare una storia nuova, un mondo immenso e terribile minacciato da forze oscure in cui alchimia, magia, e lotte per il potere si combattono per la supremazia. Eadaz du Zāla uq-Nāra si nasconde sotto i falsi abiti di Ead Duryan alla corte della regina Sabran. Ma Eadaz non è chi dice di essere, infatti è una delle ancelle del Priorato dell’Albero delle Arance, una comunità antichissima del regno di Lasia, da sempre votata ad uccidere i wyrm, gli sputafuoco, con un compito molto importante, proteggere a tutti i costi l’ultima erede della Madre o Donzella, a seconda del culto di cui ci si riferisce, Cleolind Onjenyu ultima che ha combattuto contro il Senza Nome e l’ha gettato nell’abisso. Ead è più coraggiosa di qualunque altra ancella, e ha anche un dono particolare. Lontana dalla sua casa Ead si adatta come può e soprattutto deve farsi forza per rinnegare il suo credo. La storia ha una forte matrice femminile, molte sono infatti le protagoniste femminili che emergono, ma Ead è sicuramente la mia preferita.

Una storia d’amore su cui fantasticare

Ormai lei è diventata una delle mie scrittrici salva vita per le romance e non vedo l’ora di mettere le mani sul suo prossimo volume. Notte numero zero di Rebecca Quasi è una di quelle storie che neanche credi che esistano ma ti scaldano il cuore. Costanza e Mario si incontrano per caso in un aeroporto, ma sono destinati ad incontrarsi di nuovo. Sembra impossibile che due come loro riescano ad innescare una tale reazione, ma si sa la chimica è imprevedibile e la Quasi accompagna il lettore in un viaggio affascinante e una storia d’amore emozionante.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

character’s theme song.  there are So Many but colourway by novo amor and holocene by on iver do a good job of capturing his energy (catch the whole playlists here) hobbies to pass the time.   he’s definitely the notebook keeping type, but they aren’t pretty lol, more just a collection of thoughts written very messily ( he might not even know what they say when he reads back on them ) in a mixture of languages, cut outs and photographs tucked between the pages, musical notation that he’ll probably never develop further, and bad ( b a d ) drawings. he also loves to fly, not only for quidditch but just to be in the air/around nature, and he’s alright but not well practiced at playing the piano. also just a total daydreamer.  mental illnesses.   none  physical illness.   needs glasses to read idk if that counts left or right brained.   probably left fears.  being unloved/unloveable, instability/loss of peace self confidence level.    for the most part, healthy + realistic. in terms of talents and abilities, he’s aware what he’s good at and what he could work on ( although that doesn’t necessarily move him to do anything about it ) . being incapable doesn’t concern him too much, but rather his insecurities instead center mostly around the fear of being an unlikeable person.

Drama Recs

Since the end of the year’s coming, I thought I would do a little drive-by-rec of my favorite Cdramas and Kdramas of the year. I only fell down this rabbit hole this year and I haven’t seen many yet - though I did sample plenty - but these are my favorites...

Guardian

The drama that dragged me in and introduced me to Bai Yu & Zhu Yilong. And the one that will always have a special place in my heart. Zhao Yunlan & Shen Wei and their bond that lasted ten thousand years. I laughed, I cried, I wrote fics. The drama that works so well mainly because of its leads’ chemistry. And the one that boasts one of the best title songs I’ve ever heard.

SCI

Another drama that’s carried by its leads’ chemistry and the one that introduced me to Gao Hanyu and Ji Xiaobing. But also a drama with an ah-mazing bad guy: Zhao Jue. It’s a pleasure to watch Bai Yutong’s frustrated struggle to keep Zhan Yao in the light while Zhao Jue’s pulling him subtly but surely over to the dark side! 

Healer

The one that introduced me to Kdramas and made me fall hard for the fantastic, gorgeous, amazing Ji Chang-wook (hush, I know I’m gushing). The characters, the story, the action! Gosh, it had me on the edge of my seat so many times! No wonder this is one of the most popular Kdramas ever and the one that turned JCW into a real star.

Suspicious Partner

The one that cemented my love for Ji Chang-wook. It’s a romantic comedy so I guess many people will wrinkle their nose, but it’s so very good. It’s downright hilarious in places but heartrending in others since both the main heroes have a sad past and JCW’s character’s plagued with nightmares and bouts of insomnia. And then there’s the psychopath who keeps murdering people and stalking our heroes. His scenes with JCW’s character, their back-n-forths, are so intense!

The Guest

Now there’s a creepy, creepy drama! It’s about three people - a psychic, a priest and a female cop - who chase after an evil spirit, Park Il Do, that murdered their families while they were little. The chase itself is titillating but it’s the friendship these three build over the course of the series that’s most fascinating. It’s one of those ride-or-die friendships that give you warm fuzzies. Also, the soundtrack to this series is breathtaking! 

2 dramas I’m currently watching:

The K2

Wow. Just wow. The series that made Ji Chang-wook the highest paid Korean actor at that time, according to sources. And no wonder. He plays a bodyguard with severe PTSD whose client is the future first lady, a scheming woman with many enemies. Action aplenty, incredible music... This is basically Snow White retold with JCW’s character as the Hunter.

While You Were Sleeping

Another funny but oh so very, very, very heartbreaking series about three people who can see the future in their dreams, mostly bad things, and they do their best to change it. But sometimes, the outcome is even worse. It’s a pleasure to watch the main hero turn from an insecure prosecutor newbie into someone criminals need to be wary of. It’s my favorite trope.

Completed Kdramas.

Kdramas I’ve completed *In order of how I watched them!* and how I rate them..chat me up about ANY drama listed, or recommend more! :) **SOME CONTAIN SLIGHT SPOILERS!**

1. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon-- 10/10 **This was my introduction to the amazing world of kdrama, and oh boy did it hook me!! The chemistry between Bo Young and Hyung Sik will forever be etched into my brain!

2. The Heirs-- 8/10 **The most compelling thing in this show for me was Kim Woo Bin.  This was my first intro to second male lead syndrome.

3. Hwarang-- 7/10 **Not gonna lie, started this because of Kim Taehyung, and happily finished it because the drama brought more than I expected.  It was slow in places, but wrapped up well.

4. High Society-- 5/10 ** Not my cup of tea to be honest...I much preferred the second leads’ relationship over the first leads’.  Even Park Hyungsik wasn’t enough to keep me enthralled...this was a drama I completed just to get it over with.

5. Oh My Ghostess-- 10/10. PARK BO YOUNG IS DAEBAK! I seriously love this woman...she was able to portray two distinct personality types, sometimes nearly simultaneously. Also, Jo Jung-suk as Chef Kang made my heart race!

6. Healer-- 9/10 ** This would have gotten a ten had they wrapped up the loose ends a little better, alas, they did not...Also, this was my introduction to Ji Chang Wook.  His character is just amazing and JCW depicts him so well!

7. Emergency Couple-- 10/10 **This is still one of my favorites.  I liked the progression between Chang Min and Jin Hee, and how it wasn’t an immediate reconciliation when they met back up.  They both had themselves to find and were mature (most of the time) about giving eachother the space needed to make it work.

8. Weight-lifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo-- 10/10. **I loved everything about this drama. The story line, the actors, the chemistry between the leads, and I really loved Ji Il-joo as Joo-hyuk’s best friend :)

9. She Was Pretty 7/10 ** CHOI SI-WON!!! Kim Shin Hyeok is my favorite character in all of dramaland...unfortunately he was second male lead, and my favorite part about the drama.  All of the actors portrayed their characters well, I just didn’t connect with many of them throughout the whole show.

10. Fated to Love You 8/10 ** There were times when Gun was literally too much to handle..Also, episode 12 made me take a break from kdramas for a while and reflect on my life choice to become addicted to something like kdramas.  Before this episode I realized that I really was spoiled in the shows I watched not having scenes that literally made my heart feel constricted the way this one did.

11. To the Beautiful You-- 7/10 ** I liked the show overall, but thought that Sulli would never pass as a male... to me she still screamed female while dressed and living as a male. Kang Ha-Neul was the shinning point for me :)

12. Angel Eyes-- 7/10 ** KANG HA-NEUL! :)  The show was predictable at times which made it kind of drag on in places, and the female lead was frustrating af, but I enjoyed it overall.  Although the teenage years were only in a few episodes (and then some flashbacks) I think the pairing was much more endearing than the adults.  I also really liked the chemistry between Kang Ha-nuel and Name Ji-Hyun

13. Doctors-- 6/10** Not my cup of tea....Park Shin Hye was great, but it was kind of boring to me..The guest starring of Ji Soo was nice though :)

14. Shopping King Louie-- 9/10. I LOVED this drama.  I thought the character of Louie was endearing in how he didn’t understand much of the outside world (being rich and all) and relied on Bok-Shil to basically survive. Again, loved Nam Ji-Hyun in this.

15. Pinocchio-- 8/10 **HELLO LEE JONG-SUK! :) My favorite thing, other than watching the evolution of the leads’ relationship was watching the relationship between Dal-po and his brother, Jae-Myung.  I think the character development of Jae-Myung felt the most real to me.  How circumstances turned him into a killer and how he handled the aftermath of that, letting Dal-po settle things legally.

16. W (Two Worlds)-- 8/10 **Back to back Lee Jong-Suk.  I liked the complexities of this drama. There were times when I really wasn’t sure what was coming next and the suspense kept me returning to my computer as soon as possible to finish it!

17. Marriage, Not Dating-- 8/10 **Not gonna lie, the more I watching this, the more I WANTED To hate it, but I didn’t.  I’m not sure why I wanted to...I think it became semi predictable and some of the characters were hard pills to swallow, but damnit I was rooting so hard for Gi-tae and Jang-mi until the very end.

18. Love From Another Star 10/10 ** Let me count the ways...This was so endearing, and funny, and melancholic, and in places, SO FUCKING SAD. I will happily admit I cried, and when I inevitably watch it again, I’ll cry again.
