Only just realised the pov switches a bit, oops.

"All of this... Will be ours."

AI Jack motioned around the office, almost beaming to be back in his, now dusty, office.

"Yours, you mean yours. Right?" I nervously chucked, I didn't want to be apart of this anymore. Being with Jack for so long is suffocating, and of course the only way to get rid of him is to go up to fucking Helios.

The deal was simple enough, I go up to helios and "get rid" of Jack, and he gives me a shit ton of money to start a new life, preferably away from Pandora.

"Well yes, mine. But uh, you still helped..." his voice trailed off as I walked towards the huge window, looking at Elpis.

"Woah... nice view..." the pink hue crack from the incident with the Eye of Helios stuck out like a sore thumb. It was pretty in a way.

"It sure is! Oh, and Elpis looks great too..."

I rolled my eyes, turning around and walking towards Jack.

"So... what now?"

"Now princess, you'll have to sit on throne."

The 'throne' was yellow, comfy looking office chair.

I sat on the chair, feeling needles gently prick under my clothes and into my skin. Scaring me a little.

"Woah."

The corner of his mouth raised slightly to your reaction, it was cute in a way.

"Thats the contact activativated dopamine injectors." Half of those words made no sense to you, you let yourself rest for a minute, a well needed break from the mayhem you went through.

"You look like you could kill someone with a phone call and a little base in your voice. Hot." He phased into the opposite chair, raising his feet onto the desk.

"I- uh- thank you?" Jack has been flirty, but not THIS flirty.

"So. What now?"

"Now, before I tell you. I have one thing to ask you." He narrowed his eyes, his face suddenly so serious.

I nodded slightly, he looked down, then back at me.

"If you and I ran this place, what would you do with it?"

"... hypothetically of course."

"Change Pandora, or just blow it up. Whatevers good."

He chucked at your response.

"Nice to see you haven't changed about Pandora."

"But... what if it wasn't hypothetical? We could run this place, together."

"What do you say (y/n)?"

You shook your head.

"No, nonono. I don't want to be some nobody slaving their life for their company. Thats not me, its not who I am." You stood up and crossed your arms.

"But you won't be a nobody-"

"No, Jack, just give me the money please. You'll never hear from me again."

He put his hands on his hips.

"Im not going to leave."

You scoffed at him. "What are you on about?"

Your robotic hand jolted up, you looked at him with wide eyes, your breath shaky.

"You're too important to leave."

Your hand slammed down on the chair, the force sitting you down. The grip was (literally) iron tight, trying to remove it was impossible, but you had to try.

Suddenly your hand jolted to the left of you, you saw a wierd pointy think jutting out of the chair. It was not there before.

Cuffs appeared from the chair, your body now stuck to it. All you could hear was the sound of data being transferred out of your head.

You were beyond terrified, Jack shifted to the side of you. Watching you try and escape the cuffs.

"You're going to stay here, with all the money you could want! Its what you wanted wasn't it?"

"Y-yes but-" you couldn't think of the words, feeling light headed.

He began laughing, really hard, as he glitched in and out of existence.

Then it was silent, too silent.

You heard him again, yet all around you.

He's. In. Helios.

The noise stopped, though now you could feel your head pulsing in pain. The needles where forcing you to be somewhat docile, this can't be happening!

The device left your head, going back into the chair. You slumped your head, passing out almost instantly.

"Get some rest pumkin, I'll take good care of you."

Favourite song, now that would be hard to pick. Vincent is a music fanatic and appreciates every genre depending on the mood he is in. He used to carry around headphones in his pocket but would keep breaking them due to his merc work. He now has a chip that he slots into his headport which he prefers as the music plays directly into his head. His go to genres would be phonk, punk, and of course hardrock thanks to Kerry and Johnny. In terms of his favourite song, I would have to say American idiot by Green Day. Reason being he associates himself with it, he's aware of how consumed society is with the media and especially the corpos and Arasaka with xenophobia. He refuses to fall into the system and become an 'American idiot'. I would go as far to say that Green Day is Vincent's favourite band, and much to Kerry's displeasure he owns a Green Day hoodie that he will regularly wear. To Kerry he finds it him supporting his opposition, but he doesn't take it that much to heart. Thirsty Thursday indeed, depending on the mood and tempo I'd say the more passionate the session the higher the tempo! 👀 😂

Hotel ini tak hanya menyimpan sejarah perobekan bendera Belanda pada 19 September 1945, ternyata sempat berganti nama beberapa kali. Sebelum dikenal sebagai Hotel Majapahit, hotel bersejarah di Kota Surabaya ini sempat disebut Hotel Oranje, Yamato, hingga Merdeka. Ternyata, ada makna di balik pemberian nama ini.

Hingga saat ini, hotel yang terletak di Jalan Tunjungan, Kecamatan Genteng, Kota Surabaya itu masih aktif dan digunakan untuk menjamu para tamu yang datang.

Executive Assistant Manager Hotel Majapahit, Benny Wijaya menjelaskan, untuk nama Majapahit sendiri bukan diambil asal-asalan. Melainkan, sejalan dengan visi misi Kerajaan Majapahit yang notabene menjadi salah satu kerajaan jaya dan akbar, serta tertua pada eranya. Maka dari itu, Majapahit digunakan sebagai nama dengan harapan seperti namanya.

Benny mengamini bila Hotel Majapahit mengalami beberapa kali perombakan kepemilikan, nama, hingga peremajaan. Namun, tidak demikian dengan keorisinilan bangunan.

Benny juga menjelaskan, awal mulanya hotel tersebut masih di bawah naungan Sarkies Family. Lalu, di tahun 1942 berganti nama Oranje. Ketika Jepang menjajah dan menguasai bumi pertiwi, namanya berganti Yamato, yang kala itu sekaligus digunakan headporter atau base camp saat pertempuran.

Setelah proklamasi dikumandangkan, hotel berganti nama menjadi Merdeka. Lalu, menjadi Majapahit sekitar tahun 1969.

tak menampik bila kepemilikan hotel Majapahit sejatinya merupakan swasta dari keluarga Sarkies. Meski, sebelum dan setelah kemerdekaan, Majapahit sempat beralih fungsi.

"10 September 1945, hotel sempat bernama Merdeka, tahun 1945 sampai 1946 berganti Lucas Martin Sarkies yakni kembali pada keluarga pendiri, tahun 1969 dijual ke Men Trust Holding. Nah, sampai sekarang, namanya tetap, yakni Hotel Majapahit,"

manajemen Hotel Majapahit berusaha memaksimalkan segala hal untuk selalu melestarikan dan menjaga keasliannya. Mulai dari monumen perobekan bendera, memasang plakat Brighten Stone, hingga tak mengubah bentuk bangunan.

salah satu bukti keaslian bangunan adalah dari ubin marmer yang diimpor langsung dari negeri kincir angin, Belanda. Menurutnya, hal tersebut masih dipertahankan untuk menjaga keaslian dan menjadi karakter bagi Majapahit.

Kahar menjelaskan, salah satu ciri khas bangunan vintage Majapahit dalam marmer itu adalah 1 dari sekian marmer yang dipasang menjadi ubin, selalu ada 1 ubin yang sengaja dipasang terbalik.

New update, new look! The headport replaces one of the sunglasses, the cyberdeck is from the adshield mod.

I’m a bit annoyed that the Blade Runner decal got clipped a bit and the Front Line Assembly decal ended up mirrored but w/e gives it some bootleg charm.
