Can you do Uma x Ariel's son
Y/N continue swimming as Uma approaches the edge of the pool…
Uma: you know faculty is not allowed to swim past school hours
Y/N: I thought you were a former VK, you’ve never really been one for rules
Uma: I’m head mistress now, so I have to have some standard
Y/N: oh come on Headmistress, can’t you have just a little bit of fun?
Uma thinks it over…
She dives right in the pool and into Y/N’s arms, giggling…

Btw, can I just add Fairy Godmother going no to inviting kids from kingdoms like Wonderland to a list of reasons of why I don't care for this character anymore? Her wanting to send the core four to the isle over theft in Rise of The Isle of The lost and VK Guide establishing if you skip her class you can be expelled, already made me stop caring about it.

With Uma as headmistress, the "Remedial Goodness" class is replaced with an actual moral philosophy class, taught by Esmeralda. Chloe loves it, because she seriously wants to unpack her legalistic worldview.

The Fabric of Us
Mother was kind now.
She was good.
The time travel worked and everything was fine. Except it wasn’t fine, cause Chloe had vanished from beside her. Taking in her mother—taking in Bridget—now swathed in pink and hearts (the Queen she was always meant to be), Red smiled, but discreetly looked around the bustling quad for her friend.
Oddly, she didn’t see Queen Ella anywhere either. Hadnt she been sitting in the front row for Headmistress Uma’s presentation? King Charming was present, dressed in a blue suit instead of a white one, but his wife and daughter were nowhere to be found. Puzzled and a bit worried all of a sudden, Red felt a hand brush against her arm.
“Red? Darling, you look a million miles away.”
Red turned to her mother as she returned from the stage. “Sorry. I was just…looking for someone:”
“Oh?” Mother’s brow rose curiously high. “You’ve made a friend already? That’s my girl.”
“You could say that, I just don’t know where she went.”
“Perhaps you’ll be roommates,” mother suggested with a smile, using both hands to push her long red hair back over her shoulders. “I’m excited to have you attending Auradon Prep this year, I’m sure you’ll do well.”
Nodding but not entirely sure how to accept a compliment from her mother (someone who’d only ever scorned her), Red blinked as a head of curls bounced towards King Charming. She turned at the sight of them, heart rising, but frowned again. There wasn’t a hint of blue hair to be seen. The newcomer was partially hidden by the King’s torso as he turned to address her. She offered a polite bow, giving away that this was a servant; not the person Red wanted to see.
Yet she couldn’t help but get closer. Maybe the King would have some idea where his family went?
“…I want my daughter to be comfortable in her new dorm,” the King told the girl. “Ask your mother to bring Malia’s things around front, I’ll have them carried up by the footmen.”
“Yes, your majesty.”
Red blinked. That voice. She furrowed her brows, quickening her pace.
“If you see my daughter, would you tell her to come back here? I haven’t seen her all afternoon; it was very impolite to miss the celebration.”
“Of course, your majesty. If I see the Princess, I’ll let her know.”
Malia? Malia who? Red was becoming more and more confused by the second. What was King Charming talking about?
“And Chloe?”
Chloe. Red dug her heels in, her eyes widening a touch. She knew the servant's round face; her large dark eyes and her curls. Except they had lost their color, no longer a brilliant turquoise, but a mossy, dark brown. She had a pair of glasses sitting on her nose and wore the garb of a palace servant, rather than a princess. What in the underworld? “Tell Ella about our departure plans? I wish to be out of here before traffic gets bad.”
Chloe nodded, giving another polite bow in her long navy skirt.
“Yes, your majesty.” And then she was off, striding away from the king like she wasn’t his daughter. Puzzled and alarmed, Red ran after her, grabbing onto the girl's arm and tugging her to one side. She yelped in surprise, jerking away hard. “Get off of me.”
“Chloe! What is going on? What…you were literally right beside me, what happened?”
Chloe glanced up at Red in utter bafflement, blinking once, then twice. Her lovely face scrunched as she arched a brow, bewilderment turning to suspicion.
“Sorry,” she drawled, glancing behind Red as though looking for someone else. “But do I know you?”
Just thinking some thoughts…a little snippet of something I may or may not continue. Haven’t decided yet.
Basically Red and Chloe’s meddling in time results in Ella no longer being royalty, King Charming having met and married a different girl when she didn’t attend Castlecoming.
Chloe still exists (the fabric of time will always reassert itself), but not in the way Red remembers.

An offer she couldn’t refuse…
I don’t know what’s going on with the new Rise of Red trailer, and at this point I’m too afraid to ask. I’m not too afraid to speculate though!!
+
Uma grinds her boots on the carpet as she walks into Mal's office. It's not muddy enough for her to track much in, but she's still got old blood on her heels, and bloodstains never really come out.
It's petty. Evil knows it's petty, but after all this time, Uma's pretty sure she deserves a little petty when it comes to the new queen. She's not the one with the ostentatious royal sign on her door, and she's certainly not the one putting kingdom business on hold so she can host the fluffy, stupid wedding of her dreams.
Not that they're here to talk about that.
"Princess."
Mal spins around. "Uma."
Uma steps closer. There's a desk in between them, but that's not a problem. The little queen is short, just like her wicked mother, and Uma's got practice looming over people taller than her. With Mal's fairy stature, it's not trouble at all for Uma to lift her chin and glare down her former archnemesis. In fact, it's a pleasure.
Mal drops her gaze first. Hah.
"Thanks for coming," she says, dropping into her fancy fucking desk chair. "I appreciate it. I know you're busy, what with the pirating and all. It means a lot that you came."
Uma drops into the other chair that somebody has so conveniently placed on the visitor's side of the desk. "Cut the shit, princess. You called me here for a reason, and I'm here because I want to know what it is. No more, no less."
Mal's eyes flicker back up to meet her own. They're bright green. Magical bright green.
Well, shit.
"I have an offer for you," the Queen of Auradon says slowly. "Which I think you're uniquely qualified for. You can turn it down if you want, but I'm asking you to hear me out first. Fair?"
Uma lifts a finger up to tap her mother's necklace where it sits hot against her collarbone. The problem with magical items is that you can't always turn them off. It's not that she wants to take advantage of her mother's ocean magic and use the locket to steal whatever spell Mal's got sitting behind her eyes, but sometimes the magic just slips out, and she ends up absorbing spells that weren't intended for her.
Sometimes they're even useful.
"Life ain't fair, princess," Uma drawls. "But sure, I'll hear you out. What'd you got for me?"
"Headmaster. Of Auradon Prep."
"No."
Mal's eyes flash. "Hear me out, Uma."
"No way. A school full of royals is never gonna listen to a pirate from the Isle of the Lost. You might as well ask an orge to be headmaster."
"Good to know you consider yourself on the same level as ogres," Mal snaps. "But you said you'd listen to me. I need someone from the Isle to serve as acting headmistress while Fairy Godmother is on sabbatical, and I want it to be you."
Uma swings a foot up to grind her boot heel on the chair too. "Why me? Why not Princess Blueberry, or your precious Freddie Facilier?"
"Freddie's busy. Evie's not available. And they're not the leaders of a pirate crew. They don't have your experience with managing idiots.”
"If you only brought me here to insult my crew, I can leave." Uma offers, jerking a finger over her shoulder towards the door.
She takes a special satisfaction in making the queen of Auradon grind her teeth. Sure, her ex-girlfriend can just grow her magical dragon teeth out bigger and better than before, but Uma's got to make her use those magic powers. No easy roads out for the princess who grabbed freedom with both hands and left the rest of them behind.
"Please," Mal grits out. "Uma. I wouldn't be asking you if I had anyone else that I thought could do it, you know this. Auradon Prep is--"
She cuts herself off.
Fascinating.
"Auradon Prep is what?"
"It's-- look, I can't give you the details unless you want the job."
Oh, she wants the job.
"I can't accept the job," Uma says carefully, letting each word slip out like a pearl from her mother's oysters, "Until I know what it entails. I have a whole crew relying on me, and I can't just abandon them for just any old headmaster role. I need to know it'll be worth my while."
The office door clicks shut.
Uma leans back in her chair as Mal's eyes glow green, greener, and slip closed.
"Swear that you won't speak of this to anybody outside this room," Mal intones in a voice that is both hers and not her own. "Swear on the ocean."
Uma scoffs. "I'm not swearing anything. I tell my left hand man everything that I know. It's why we work. Honesty, princess, ever heard of it?"
Mal's eyes crack open. They're glowing scary green, like the bioluminescent algae that Uma pulls up from the sea floor sometimes when she's bored with waiting for the Southern Isles' trade ships to appear. Sort of a freaky color if you're not ready for it. "You can tell Harry. But that's it, and if he tells anybody else, I get to send my crows after him."
"Deal."
Her eyes slip shut again. That voice, the creepy double-edged rasp of magic, creaks out of her throat. "Then swear it, daughter of Ursula. Swear that what you hear today will not leave this room, except to confer with your second in command."
Aw, hell.
"I swear." Uma says, mostly just to get her to shut up. "Swear it on my mother's watery grave."
"It is done," Mal intones. "Remember your promise, daughter of the sea."
Uma rolls her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Give me the deets, Mal."
Her ex's head flops forward. The light cuts out abruptly from her eyes. It's creepy, but they were born and raised in creep central, so it's not like Uma's freaked out by the frankly gratuitous display of magic bullshittery.
Her head snaps back up before Uma can think to poke her with one of her knives. "There's a time distortion."

Alright, I love Uma, but I don't know how I feel about this whole principal of Auradon Prep thing. (especially since Uma is barely older than the kids AT Auradon Prep)
Maybe its just because I'm so attached to the idea of Uma being like an ambassador for the Isle kids. Idk.
Still not taking this movie as canon
I'm NOT too surprised by Auradon Prep not being open to everyone - although I do wonder what KINGDOMS it wasn't open to. With that said, how does the principal have the power to open the school up to the kingdoms - also why are they suddenly using 'principal' instead of 'headmistress.' Yes, they are the same thing, but its just interesting that they decided not to use 'headmistress' since that's the term that has been used in reference to FG.

If Hell is forever then Heaven is a lie
Jane sits in an empty classroom – she finds it easier to focus in the school than in her own room, and this is one of the perks of having a mom-headmistress.
On the other hand, her mom does expect perfect grades, so Jane sighs over her History of the Good Fairies essay and proceeds to start writing again.
She thinks she’d like some practical lessons on fairy magic better, but her mom wouldn’t want to hear that either.
Jane manages to concentrate pretty well, actually, until suddenly she gets a feeling that she’s being watched: But when she looks around the room, it’s empty. She shakes her head and gets back to her essay.
„Hey, do you have any–“
Jane almost jumps out of her skin when a girl suddenly materialises by the blackboard.
„–Stop screaming, it’s just me – Do you have any fire extinguisher? Frollo’s trying to set the school on fire again and father just run out.
Realising that the high-pitched shriek she’s been hearing was in fact her, Jane shuts her mouth closed.
„What’s the fuss?“ second girl pops into existence next to the other, shaking her head, „Honestly, as if she’s never seen a Shadow witch before… Anyway. Father says to grab some chemistry textbooks too, since we’re here already. Evie’s tearing through our Arachneum too fast.“
„We should grab some more books on languages too, I wanna see what the Mims and Uma do with these yet.“
„A wonder they’re not yet cursed ten times over, all of them.“
„It’s fun to watch! Besides, I wanna see who accidentally manages to bind someone’s soul first.“
„Bold of you to presume it’d be accidental.“
„Excuse me,“ Jane snaps at the two strange girls interrupting her study session with talks about soul magic and Villains who are long since safely locked on the Isle of the Lost, „ who are you and WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?! BEN! BEN!“ she calls out for her friend.

Although I don't think this is the direction Rise of Red 2 is going towards, let's imagine the spell on the Cookbook was permanent, aka Ulyana's crew never got rid of it.
This means that Hook never became the menace of the seas nor Pan's enemy, and not even a Villain on his own, but also Harriet, Harry and CJ were never born!
Which leads to another huge absence: Mal. Because if both her parents didn't get out of the spell, they couldn't have her.
And Maleficent wouldn't have become the Mistress of all Evil, so half the foundation of the lore as we rebuilt it (reminder that the guidebook speaks explicitly of "Maleficent's takeover"!) wouldn't have happened!
Now, two main consequences:
If the Villains didn't unite under Maleficent, the Heroes wouldn't have either, hence there would be no Auradon to begin with (and also Aurora wouldn't have been cursed and all...)
The Villains did unite, but under someone else (Ursula? Evil Queen? idk), so Auradon and the Isle of the Lost were made all the same.
Judging by the finale, Auradon does exist, so the second theory is more likely.
That said, Uma was the de-facto leader of the Isle (but without Harry by her side. Perhaps Jay filled the spot?), or Evie was, since she wasn't banned. It matters little.
We know (first book) that Ben had the idea to look into the matters of the Isle of the Lost because he had dreams about Mal, who is implied to be his soulmate. No soulmate, no dream, no inspiration. Ben never tried to free the Isle kids.
Or he did, but things may have happened very differently without Mal. Uma would have been invited and her methods (and goals) would have been different. I tend to think Uma, without the added anger about Mal turning her back to the Isle, would have been able to make Ben change a few things and bring out VKs quicker. She and Evie would have become the Crown's advisors regarding the Isle matters, hence the nomination of Uma as the new Headmistress of Auradon Prep.
Now, when Red and Chloe return from their time trip, they see nothing changed but the Queen of Hearts, but maybe Auradon itself was different. Ben has no queen so far (his relationship with Audrey wouldn't have worked anyway, it's very clear from the book) or the queen is Evie? (this would be a political marriage, tho)
Or, simply, Ben isn't the High King.
Now, follow me here, it's going to be fun (I hope).
Ben didn't try to change the situation about the Isle, his first decree is about sidekicks or something. Magic folks are unhappy, they hoped things could change with a new High King, that the anti-magic laws could be lifted. They call for elections instead of letting natural succession be.
Another is chosen as High King/Queen, a more liberal one, one who likes magic and allows its use. While in contact with magicians, they expose the truth behind the Barrier and Isle of the Lost, the new ruler is horrified, but instead of inviting four random kids, they go there to see for themselves.
In this, they end up negotiating with Uma about living conditions and, as Uma is her mother's daughter, they get a contract in which they specify all the changes to be expected: freedom for the kids, new trials for Villains, policies to make the Isle more liveable, and so forth. It takes a while, but the new ruler and Uma get close enough that, by the time things settle, Uma is trusted enough to become headmistress of Auradon Prep.
Unrelated to this all, Ulyana is still out there, frozen in time, unless Ursula led the takeover specifically for her (doubtful) so she planned revenge over Bridget and also Chloe and Red, for decades.

Rise of Red gonna still have me forever bitter we never gonna see the aftermath of D3. We never gonna see more villain kids as they settle down in Auradon and try to be good but likely struggle. We never gonna see if Mal was right to free the villains alongside the kids or if she was wrong and that some villains do want revenge still and that Mal based her decision simply on her dad doing one good thing and that was it. We never gonna see if Auradon fully changes or not. There is literally so much that aftermath of D3 could tackle in films, but no, ignore that I guess, say it all worked out somehow and just jump straight to fucking Wonderland plot with time travel for some reason.

Oh thank the gods we've stepped away from that weird periwinkle shade and the stupid bow for Fairy Godmother. Also, Uma steals any scene she's in and Chine Anne McClain is a fantastic actress. And I love the pirates going and putting up the Colours in the headmistress's office. I can't wait to see Uma as heamistress. It makes a lot of sense for her. Either that or a social worker. It makes sense for her to get a job where she can help kids in unfair situations and fix injustice against those who are voiceless.

Imagining that AU where Uma has a pet dragon, in the context of her being headmistress of Auradon Prep.
Students playing with the headmistress's dragon.
A few parents freaking out when they learn that there's a dragon on campus, meanwhile the students casually toss it extra food from their lunch tray.
The ultimate act of reckless defiance is taking the headmistress's dragon for a joyride.
...So you'd better believe Red has taken Chloe for a sky-high picnic on that thing!

I love it (Spoilers for Descendants 4
So I recently watched Descendants : Rise of Red, and I have a few thoughts. (Spoilers) - Rita Ora is a great singer and actor, and in my opinion, portrays the Queen of Hearts. 10/10 - My opinions on Kylie Cantrall is pretty much the same thing. Singing voice 9.5/10 - Cinderella's reasoning as to why Red acted so cold towards Chloe Charming during their first interaction was relatable. - Uma is the Headmistress, and honestly, I did not expect it. Though, what are her qualifications?? - I never watched the trailer, so idk if it did mention this, I wasn't expecting it to be a time travel sub plot movie - Is Merlin secretly the bad guy or something? Because if the cook book froze the people who tried stealing, how did Ulliana and her gang even use it in the first place to prank Bridget??? - "Love ain't it" is a banger. I love it. I'm going to go play it on repeat for an hour. - "What's My Name (Red's Version)" is also a banger :) (I know it's not in the movie, but it's still a great song)

Hey, idk how much authority Uma has as headmistress, but I think she should get rid of that beast statue outside of the school. Even if she doesn't have the authority to do that, her crew will take it down anyway and put up a bunch of keepsakes dedicated to her.
