Writing tip! Gdocs has an outline feature, so if you format certain lines has Headings, it will form a table of contents in the side.

This is a sample of mine for my upcoming chapters of And the Show Goes On.

I use it to outline the chapter, and the sections of each chapter (I even use it to remind myself of what is supposed to happen in each section), and it makes it so much easier to visualize the events of the story. It also acts as a directory, so I can easily jump between sections to write them.

This is especially useful for me because I NEVER write from start to finish and I always jump sections.

It also acts as a checklist, and I remove the sub-header whenever that section is done, so it feels great removing each section one at a time until the chapter is finished. Great way to stay motivated, especially when you're so close to finishing a chapter.
