Pete calls Steph “jedyna moja” which roughly translates to “my only” in Polish

A month after they get married they end up getting wedding band tattoos (Pete hates the sensory feel of rings bc of his autism). They still both kept their rings, and instead wear them on necklaces around their necks.

Steph barely uses pet names for Peter in public, but when they’re alone or she really just needs his attention she calls him “pumpkin” all shy and blushy and internally hates herself for being all sappy. Peter loves it and it makes him all soft.

Route ≗ backstory

Sampo had joined the mourning Actors rather young, decades before Aha would turn their gaze towards them and give them emulator status. Rather than joining the Fools he had been taken in by the actors during one routine stop to perform.

The then director found Sampo rummaging through their equipment, only to learn later on Sampo had stolen personal objects of value and a few masks. The director hadn't seen a teenager already walking the path of Elation without actively having a mask. The director would later on give Sampo an ultimatum, be turned in to the police or return what he had stolen and help clean up the mess he made. Sampo took the ladder.

It wasn't a complicated decision for either party in the end, the Mourning Actors welcomed Sampo into the group as an actor. The director and multiple actors of a course of three days saw the skill Sampo has and could better. While they didn't particularly like what he was using his skills for, the director wanted to see Sampo grow more than what this dying planet held. The rest was relative history, Sampo traveled with the group on their gondola. As his skills progressed and he showed interest they allowed him to perform, to wear one of these masks.

Towards his end of the time with the group he became the director, the previous stepping back due to age yet still helping. Only when Aha would look towards the group and make them emulators would Sampo leave. The original director took the role once more while Sampo left to truly learn more about Aha now that he was an emulator himself and IX.

To this day The Mourning Actors would welcome him, they know of him under different names; different faces but they'll always know him. The person behind the performances. The man who would cry with them in sorrow and effortlessly bring everyone together.

Route ≗ headcanons

The mourning Actors still have the mask he would use, it's one of the few in their possession that they won't use.

Sampo’s broken heart motif in my opinion comes from the Mourning Actors, while he holds no regrets over the path he has taken he still mourns like they do. Watching Jarilo-IV slowly die even with its preservation hurt him deeply, why else would he have helped the trailblazer’s? He doesn't wish to see it become a wasteland, watch those he genuinely cares about perish.

When Sampo is an active Emulator and is actively showing it has two different appearances. Comedy and tragedy which are shown by the snake and broken heart alongside his mask which can while being worn move to take either an expression of Elation or Melancholy. While taking on Melancholy he heavily plays into what the mourning Actors have become, while it might not be his true emotions deep down his acting can make everyone believe without any assistance from being an emulator.

If any of the mourning Actors shown up on Jarilo-IV Sampo would make himself as scarce as physically possible. He wouldn't be able to keep the act around those who he genuinely can call family. Though if they were to perform he would attend, it certainly would be a sorrow filled performance for him.

Route ≜ Backstory

Aha had seen many different kinds of dolls, puppet's and the like yet they never have seen a human one. One that can act without its puppeteer guiding them at all times. In truth Aha didn't think they would keep the human around, an once cute teenager with blue hair and vivid green eyes. Seeing the potential in their human puppet the joke just kept running and running until the puppet was more human than Aha ever intended. For many years Aha played with him, instigated truble on many different planets while watching what trouble the human could make on his own. A proper fool amongst the tavern. Created namelesly the teenager took roles flawlessly, performed with his whole heart and very soul to make such moving acts that brought both Elation and Melancholy it was only rightful that the human was quietly given the emulator status. He was already made by Aha, his body was built from the very start to take the tainted divinity.

The faint scar-like marks that curl around his wrists and ankles are flawless played off; a criminal is bound to have scars after all, even going as far to cover them with useful gloves. The very fact Sampo has been given an perfect replica— perhaps even the actual mask Aha themselves has in their collection while appearing places should have been an indicator to anyone with an lick of knowledge that Sampo Koski, the true nameless actor was nothing more and nothing less than an Elating actor. Perhaps IX is even aware of such facts and allows the actor to follow both paths from keeping Aha themselves away.

Route ≜ Headcanons

While Sampo is human in the traditional aspect, his very being down to his genetics make-up is a joke. He relates to no one, only his human form and blood is what gives him any ties to humanity as it's known. Something that Aha finds hilarious.

Sampo has a true love hate relationship with Aha and IX, the deeper the love the deeper the hate. His whole existence is a joke, a background actor who'll never get the sweeter lines or care from the audience. Nothing matters yet his own morals against hurting the helpless keep him from jumping in the same direction so many fools have.

While odd, Sampo has perfect circular scars around his wrists and ankles. If Aha for lack of better terms is forcing our darling criminal to do something the marks take on a golden hue.

The mask Sampo does have that is from Aha’s personal collection is genuine against what Sparkle or anyone else might say. The Mask itself can exist in two places at once with the gem itself being able to be rapidly swapped for a fake which unless one knows how to appease precious gemstones wouldn't notice.

When Sampo was younger he had a more positive relationship with Aha, being unaware of the reality he was facing at that time he was much more willing to fully follow through with stage directions. The older he has gone and the more he follows IX the less control Aha activity has over Sampo.

I don't care, this might as well go for Sampo regardless but he can pull flowers; particularly roses, from thin air. It's his calling card regardless of the performance. Much like Aha where you always hear the faint sound of bells and laughter you have roses and rose petals for Sampo if not the smell of fresh roses. Pretty boy likes his roses damnit and you'll never pry this from my hands even if I'm unable to express it.

Random Failtopia thoughts

(Some of these are new, some of these are not, most aren't canon)

"Pyrotechnic" is a perfectly viable ship name for Lanchi.

Orion struggled to differentiate between Slapo's autism and Shrimp's ADHD, hence the brick for a gift.

Bill being the Cat class initially is never explained, but we know he met Chat right before his first onscreen appearance, and they're obsessed with a man in the Cat class, so the dots connect for it to be Chat who convinced Bill to take up the class.

Chi's illiteracy in S1 probably means she didn't know how to spell anyone's name, especially Pirahnyawn's.

Not one person ever questions the massive circles, grey skin, and complete lack of eye contact that make up Bo's face, because Miitopia faces are usually that fucked-up.

The reason the Dark Lord needed a ghost specifically to assassinate Mar was because the Chef himself is a ghost (Dark Curse), and only a ghost can kill another ghost.

Erica studies anatomy regularly in S2, which means she knows that a regular person begins dying at 25, her current age, so it's no wonder she always has death on her mind.

Bo and Rose being immediate family is impossible, but Rose being a descendant of Bo is not, under the assumption that despite not having children herself, Bo's bloodline didn't die with her.

The only three characters to have a canonical dynamic with Slapo are Orion, Mar, and Bo.

All we know about Chat's backstory is that they came from the Otherworld, and are obsessed with Failboat. The only big thing Failboat did in the Otherworld was the S1 final boss fight, which ended in a huge explosion. It's entirely possible that this explosion is what disrupted the Otherworld faces, to the point they formed Chat.

Erica likes to cut things short, but when she's around Bo, she keeps launching into long rambles about how great she is. These are the only times she feels like she can let her thoughts loose, since Bo did just that in the greenhouse by revealing her darkest secret.

On a similar note, Erica's past keeps being thrown back in her face, while Bo can never get her past back, no matter how hard she tries.

Due to Zone having both pink and black appearances, there may or may not be two Zones. That, or Friend's a good enough hat maker to alter Zone's colouring themselves. Considering her passion for his clothing, it's probably the latter.

Were it not for the S2 Greenhorne Arc, Hank would probably have a similar amount of screentime to Slapo.

Marion is a semi-canon ship, by the definition of one party canonically having romantic feelings toward the other, but whether Orion returns Mar's feelings is made comedically unclear.

Chi has inconsistent opinions on spicy food throughout the series, maybe because her fire obsession gets to the point that she has extremely high standards for what's spicy enough.

Rose holds her fan in the specific way she does to hide the mole on her face, something she's grown to hate because it sets her apart from the image of Rosalina.

"Deko" is not his real name, he was probably given Izuku Midoriya at birth, but his new name had to come from somewhere. That place may have been the lab where he was experimented on. The project name may have been along the lines of "DEK-0".

The lab experiment thing also makes it really funny that the only two people he really bonds with are the Scientists of the series.

Shrimp's in-universe fandom could very well be toxic. There are definitely people who are a little too interested in finding out where that 'mysterious' chip on her tooth came from.

Bill is the only character who consistently calls out Chat for their reckless behaviour. In other words, he's the one who moderates Chat.

If Kronkui didn't control who joined the team, TFFM would be down six members (Bob, Smuk, Deko, Rose, Yawn, Joker). TI, on the other hand, would only be down three members (Orion, Failboat, Chat).

Chi gets very protective when enemies are close to her allies in S1, and in parallel, Erica gets very protective when enemies are close to her allies in S2, especially if that ally is Chi.

Despite Failica being everything that they aren't, the first ship ever concocted in Failtopia was Smukle Bob.

Here are a few headcanons that I'll keep for now for some of my Neo's workings!

She was created, rather than born. Adam's personal army (or perhaps only part of it?) is made of souls that Heaven specifically classifies for that, but the new angels don't remember their human lives and are reborn as new creatures. In a way, the soul works as a base for something bigger.

Before being reborn to be part of the Exorcist army, Neo died in her own home. Coming from a wealthy family, her parents were actually quite strict and ashamed of her daughter for being mute and having heterochromia, so they had her locked at home to the point other people didn't know she existed.

She grew up extremely lonely, and her eventual escapades from the house had her father come up with better locks every time, until one day, the attempt to escape failed- she created a fire in the room when trying to warm up and destroy one of the locks, and ended up dying in the fire inside her own room.

Her hatred for authoritarian figures, her rebellious nature and yearn for freedom still lived strong in her even as an Exorcist- the very same reason of why she was eventually kicked into Hell for being deemed too 'disobedient'.

Okay I need to make another headcanon about Pepperman for a sec-

(Also I’m gonna be writing A LOT, so if you don’t wanna read that much than you could skip this if you would like 😅)

So I’ve had this in my mind for a bit, and since I’ve seen a post similar to it, I NEED to say it, because I kinda like this idea

It’s pretty hard to come up with a reason and/or how Pepperman was introduced or how he got into the tower in the first place(?). For Vigilante I think after his grandfather died he started working on the farm more and (I actually don’t know how but somehow) became a Vigilante, and Pizza Head heard about this and hired him or requested he stayed at the tower (and I guess lives in now-) because he himself says that there are many dangerous things lurking through the walls, and he only wants the BEST to get rid of them, and Vigilante couldn’t say no to that right(?)! And I also think he gets the Noise to stay at his tower because in general, Noise TV wasn’t doing very great on it’s own and Noisette’s cafe wasn’t bringing in any costumers, so to keep in track Pizza Head told Noise that if he were to supply him with an abundance of crafts and gadgets he’d become more popular and maybe even make the Tower known(?). And of course he said yes!! HE’D be more popular and his wife could get more costumers 😄, he couldn’t say no to that! (And I think Pizza Head might also be the reason why Noise turned out to be kind of a jerk and more dangerous because of the attention he was attracting and in general the dangerous stunts he was pulling was inflating his ego y’know?). So that just leaves me with Pepperman. (I think Fake Peppino being an experiment Pizza Head created would be reasonable backstory enough 🤷‍♀️).

Here’s my idea! Pepperman being known as a “good enough” artist was what made Pepperman become more determined, he wanted to be known as GREAT and ADMIRABLE, and to be fair he was a great artist, he just didn’t have that much supplies to work with. He didn’t get that much from the commissions he did therefore he couldn’t really afford much. But then a certain commission caught his attention, at least after he sent it he was paid quite heftily, more than he was usually paid in fact. He contacted the person who commissioned it and it was none other than Pizza Head, he claimed that he REALLY enjoyed his work and he would only love it if he did more for him! Pepperman was ecstatic! He’d never gotten this much attention before so it was only an easy answer to that offer! When he came to the tower Pizza Head put him right to work, potentially inflating his ego a lot more as time went on, and Pepperman even noticed he was getting bigger and stronger! What was this feeling? He looked amazing! He’d looked WAY better than before, he was a masterpiece! He had to paint!! So he did, he admired his growth in both his painting and the way he looked, he felt the world had won him the Jack pot, Pizza Head was a gift from the heavens!!!…

Or so he thought….

As he did more commissions for him he later saw that he started to change, his compliments become little critiques, he still liked them yes but what good was it if it wasn’t perfect? He only wanted the best from him! He was the best, right? The critiques later became insults, he could do better than that certainly! Pepperman felt as though he could do better, he had filled the tower to the being with paintings of Pizza Face and Pizza Head that he only felt obligated to do more better for them. But it got even more worse! He was outright bashing him! Claiming that, “This is not the artist I’m paying for!!”. And it hurt, it hurt like a brick to the head, he started to shrink…. Of course Pizza Head still kept him, he practically lived there now, and who was gonna supply him with dozens of paintings in a matter of days? And even just the pure strength, he had muscle too, he gained the muscle, surely he was good for something? He had to keep him, just in case for a certain moment in time for extra muscle. Although he was still upset at Pepperman not being as great as he once was. It indeed hurt Pepperman, but he tried for it not to get to him, HE was a masterpiece after all, I mean, if he was such a great piece to behold he should only paint himself right? He did feel great when he did, admire his beauty! He was amazing!

I think you get the idea of what I’m striving for, I hope- 😅 I think Pizza Head would potentially get more abusive with his power he had over people, he LOVED being in power so I feel like he’d make sure everyone knows who’s in charge.

It wasn’t just Pepperman he did this to again, it was also for Vigilante and The Noise, sometimes Noisette, and basically all the enemies in the tower because of how incompetent they seemed at times.

But y’know… THAT’S JUST A THEORY-

So I see a lot of tags on Tav scaring or intimidating the Gale's student when they see how strong or learn their backstory.

I counter propose these headcanons with Gale's students being immediately scared of Tav.

Either from being a drow, gith, dragon born, half orc, fucking giant of a person, face covered in scars, face tattoos or mouth filled with sharp teeth. Or their eyes there is something with their eyes.

This is Professor Dekarios' spouse?!?

The one that he always gushes about? Students start thinking he's delusional and poor mr.dekarios he must be captured or fooled by this monster.

Until one day they see Tav looming at the university gates waiting for Gale. Someone was about to ask them to leave as they are scaring the students when Professor Dekarios comes rushing down the university stairs

"Taaav~ My love. Apologies for my delay..."

Gale kisses Tav's cheek and just chatters on happily on why he was late while he grabs Tav's bag to carry (he is a gentleman) And the students see Tav just melting and softly smiling at Gale's gesture.

The students realize that oh Professor didnt get caught by Tav, it was Tav that was caught by Professor Dekarios.

Vox automatically likes any partner that enjoy and use his advanced technology and since you’re a influential streamer on Tremor that uses the latest tech to keep up your career, Vox likes your tastes even more and he also likes to watch your streams. He finds them interesting

Vox, at first, was mainly your friend and your set-up provider, he’d give you the tech for your streaming career and that more casual business relationship turned into an actual one. He had grown to enjoy your streams and yes, let me say, he is actually a fan of yours

Vox eventually wanted to push up that friendship to a relationship after a few months of knowing you and getting to learn about you, so he begun subtly flirting with you, his crush growing every single day and possibly out of luck or out of his own rizz working, you agreed to go out with him. Ever since that moment, you nor him regret it

Vox may or may not travel through your gaming PC screen, just to say hi and give you a cute kiss right in front of your stream. It’s quite a surprise and he knows it’s spread around online since nobody would ever suspect a infamous streamer like yourself to be seeing Vox himself

Vox often only enters your streaming room when he wants to tell you something important or he wants to give you food or more Vox-like, he wants attention and hugs. Every single time he does this, he ends up playing your game after you encourage him

Sometimes, Vox will enter your stream then just sit you in his lap so he can watch you play and enjoy your presence, all without pulling you away from your screen or your games. To him, you look so attractive when you’re focusing on kicking ass in your little fantasy videogames

Yes, Vox promotes your merch on his TV show sometimes and promotes people who like streaming and videogames to watch your Tremor clips. He is a fanboy and he’s proud of how much he likes your work, he isn’t even ashamed of it. He admits it to the Vees without a single ounce of shame

Vox will wear your merch at times. Just randomly in the house you two share or whilst he is privately working on his company things. He loves the hoodies and the tanks, they are comfortable AF and sometimes, he just goes to sleep in them

Vox is possessive so you know he is not only your Tremor mod, he’s also the one who tracks down to destroy any stalker you may end up getting from your streamer career, he also collects all your limited edition merch since he wants everybody to know you belong to him

Vox is very supportive of this career. Some of it, he isn’t a fan of but a lot of it, he loves and he is getting better at these games. Despite how often he rages at them

headcanon that the reason why vox hates alastor so much is because vox and alastor were friends before alastor’s seven year disappearance (as was implied in the ripped photograph in episode eight) and vox was utterly, pathetically in love with alastor. one day, alastor agreed to hook up with vox once when he was drunk because he was “curious” but wasn’t actually interested (our ace king) but that gave vox the wrong idea. soon after that alastor ended up rejecting vox, breaking vox’s heart, and leaving vox an absolute mess. god bless.

Post about Charles bearing his soul to the Night Nurse like Orpheus played music to Cerberus

Interviewer talking about "straight friend" Charles "rejecting" gay Edwin, only for George, Jayden, Beth, and Steve to stiffen up slightly. Asking about how Charles didn't have a gay panic reaction to Edwin's confession. This interviewer is actually gay and interviewed on a gay network later, which threw me after this question.

=>If Charles had really gay panic rejected Edwin, it really would have ended like Eurydice, thrust back to the pit of Hell to wallow in the internalized homophobia, rather than being released with the support and healthy love of Charles.

Actors have reiterated multiple times that the case is not closed on Edwin and Charles' romance, they're just getting started and figuring it out in the midst of all the chaos.

People are stuck in Hell because they believe they belong there but Edwin gets out the second time because Charles KNOWS he doesn't belong there! And reminds Edwin of this when he's getting pulled under in it all

Charles went back to his red polo after the confession and escaping Hell with @nerdytacollama's excellent addition on episode 7 specifically!!

Edwin's whole arc was about accepting loving and being loved and his attraction to men, and his love of his best friend, specifically

Steve Yockey saying the confession NEEDED to happen on the stairs out of Hell. One reason being that Edwin may have been too afraid to go through with it after, another being that he could get dragged away forever at any second and it could be his last chance.

But also based on the Hell worldbuilding of the Sandman Universe where people only go to hell if they believe in it and believe they deserve to be there > Edwin believing his want for intimacy at all letalone with other men being "such a sinful life" (Night Nurse paperwork) > the upward climb of healthy love from the Dante's Inferno Post > Edwin HAD to confess on the stairs and be accepted! It freed him of Hell~!

Simon moved on from Hell with Edwin's mutual sorrow for the two of them and somewhat understanding/forgiveness? Maybe self-acceptance from the gay guilt

Edwin's form saying he would serve in Hell for living such a sinful life and then be reassigned to a more pleasant state (Hell not an eternal afterlife, just time served and then moving one)

The purity of Charles and Edwin's love compared to that and the stereotypes of how male love is depicted in media, as George, Steve, and Jayden have spoken out against gently in multiple interviews

The juxtaposition of Edwin's archetypical confession to Charles on the stairs of Hell on the way out of the Limbo of it, with Maxine guilty and desperate just below them, not even looking toward the open door

Fans wondering why it was so easy to get out of Hell. The worldbuilding canon saying that Hell is what you make of it (Charles says this in the original Season of Mists Ch 4 comic, Edwin says it in episode 7 to Simon). People in Hell stuck because they feel they deserve it.
