jy likes his hands being pinned down if, and that's a big if, he bottoms, otherwise he l o v e s teasing his partner until he's seen every possible reaction he can think of

haitham likes a bit of gentle manhandling (giving), he's very slow, steady and certain in his movements generally

zhongli likes bending his partner over a desk, table or anything else. he generally likes sex outside of bed just don't ask me WHY

wrio likes using his cuffs in bed (or a more comfortable variation, rather)

arlo loves semi-public sex, unseen but in a public space

yulan is nasty and will try anything at least once and is definitely into rougher sex (surprise)

excert from my WIP that goes into both my oc Klára and Frost's (headcanon) backstory:

They lived in a small cottage, where no one ever looked for them.

She didn't know what to do. Well, they lived in the woods, and as she swung on the swing her mother made that was connected to a tree-- she thought about how peaceful their life was. Her mother Yulan had often told her how they have to hide, or a terrible force will find them. That thanks to her closest friends-- one of who might be her father, she was able to escape and bring her into this world safely.

She often thought about her mother, her stories about a man who was as elusive as smoke itself. How he could bend it to his will. Her mother's second friend, a man named Tundra who could create ice out of nothing. She thought it was ridiculous. As she swung, getting higher and higher, the twelve year old girl would hum. There was no such thing in this world.

"Xiuying! I need you to go into town to pick up some things for dinner!" She heard her mother calling for her, and she found herself sighing before she eventually stopped swinging. "Yes mama," she calls out as she goes into the cottage. Her mother had blue hair like hers, pinned into an updo bun. Her soft and gentle brown eyes crinkling as she waves her daughter goodbye with her blue hankerchief.

Swinging a backpack over her shoulder, Xiuying runs to the path. Splashing in the creek by their home, her fingertips brushing against the lily pads before she made her way to the path that lead to town.

Answered this for Hawu'li here, so I'll go with Yulan this time!

His hobbies include lots of crafting related things, but painting, gardening and tinkering with his collection of mammets are his favorites.

He has a lot of mammets. Most he's built himself, rest found their way to him broken and got repaired. He has at least one following him around at all times.

He even makes them little outfits from time to time.

Yulan is kinda nervous around strangers, so it's pretty common for him to just straight up hide behind familiar people when introduced to new ones. It's extra funny when the person he's trying to hide behind is smaller than him.

He thumps his feet a lot to show annoyance (just bunny things haha).

Your daemon AU is so good! I would've never thought of an osprey for WWX, but it's perfect for him. Yuchen's catlike personality is adorable. I would love to know more about LXC and NMJ's daemons. Do you have any notes about them? Or daemon headcanons for other characters?

Yulan (Lan Xichen's daemon) takes the form of a white serpent and produces two types of venom - one that turns into a panacea upon contact with human blood and second kind that acts as a fatal paralytic with no known cure, usually used to kill yaoguai and fierce corpses on night hunts. When she and LXC were children, they both liked to snuggle into Chixin's fur for warmth. ;-;

Unlike Yulan, Chixin didn't choose a final form until she was around fifteen. However, she usually appeared as a large predator in order to protect Nie Mingjue on his night-hunts, and settled in her favorite form (a tiger) just before he left for his year at the Cloud Recesses.

Other daemons:

Bao Xuan - mandarin duck, Jiang Yanli's daemon. Likes to preen Qingwan's feathers.

Hushui - House cat, Jiang Cheng's daemon. Qingwan and Bao Xuan both make nests for fun and line them with his shed fur.

Jiang Fengmian's daemon is a mute black swan; Yu Ziyuan's is a very round porcupine that she has to carry around in her robes, since he can't run very fast.

1 - What inspired you to create your oc?

The idea for Yuulan came to me in the very early days of me beginning twst. Since the MC is supposed to be “us”, I felt more comfortable giving her an appearance and personality traits similar to my own compared to my other ocs. By my first week into twst, I already had a design for her and within a month, a name for her. 

A big souce of inspiration was her very early interactions with Malleus, he was an immediate favorite of mine and in some ways he reminded me of Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle. And I like to imagine Yuulan being the Sophie to his Howl. Yuulan is a little more assertive than Sophie though. And my decision to make her an anmesiatic keyblade wielder was partially the end of Book 3 and the announcement of KH Missing Link soon after. 

Also,I know I’ve mentioned this before but I REALLY love Yuulan’s name! Even with me tying to find a name for her with “Yuu” in it, I particularly like the name Yuulan. It comes from the Spanish name Yulan which means “splendid lady”. 

15 - How does your oc interact with the canon narrative? What about it do they change?

Yuulan interacts with the canon narrative in mostly the same way as MC with a few minor changes. One of them is that Yuulan becomes involved with the Pomefiore students much sooner when Danica goes to her for help after Leona’s schemes cause Sidonie to be badly hurt and unable to walk. By Book 5, she’s completely familiar with them with the exception of Epel. 

Also, while MC seems to be closest to Ace and Deuce, Yuulan is closer to Jack and they’re all but best friends by the end of Book 4. While she still likes Ace and Deuce, she’s very partial to Jack because of his no nonsense attitude and sensible nature. She also becomes good friends with Silver. 

16 - What aspect(s) of the universe’s lore are they connected to? Do they change/add lore to the universe?

Ooooh! Now this is a difficult one in part because I’m still writing up Yuulan’s background lore and as of now, I have only read in advanced up to Book 6 part 12 and I have no plans to go further. If you know, you know. 

However, while reading the twst wiki, one thing that stuck out to me was the description of the world of Twisted Wonderland; that it’s a world “that parallels the MC’s world”. It really makes me think that Twisted Wonderland could be a part of Unreality in the KH universe. Especially since a lot of the events and stories of the Great Seven (seen in Yuulan’s dreams) have all canonically happened in the KH universe. Like I said, i’m still ironing out my headcanons so sorry if I can’t answer this adequately just yet!

Farron and Danica under the cut!

1 - What inspired you to create your oc?

So, with my twst ocs, I developed them in two “groups”. The first group considted of Yuulan, Taima, Sidonie, Ione and Crisanta. The second group was Iman, Farron, Maximilian and Vidaria. When I began on the second group, one thing I really wanted was to add some male ocs so Farron was one of them. Since by this point I had a major Pomefiore bias, I decided to create Farron with traits that would fit well with the dorm’s aesthetic. A big source of inspiration for his design and personality was Kaya, a Japanese singer whom I’ve been following for the better part of 15 years. 

From the start, I knew I wanted to make ocs based on Lady and Tramp and initially I thought about making Farron an RSA oc. But I decided to keep him in NRC to add to the “forbidden” nature of his relationship with Andrew which parallels the nature of Lady and Tramp’s relationship in their film. Since Lady isn’t a villainous character, Farron wields light-based non-elemental magic. 

15 - How does your oc interact with the canon narrative? What about it do they change?

Farron helps Yuulan and is one of many students who provides provisions for her when Crowley falls short (which is a lot). But beyond that, Farron stays out of the canon narrative for the most part until the beginning of Book 6 when [SPOILER REDACTED] and he’s [SPOILER REACTED]. 

16 - What aspect(s) of the universe’s lore are they connected to? Do they change/add lore to the universe?

We don’t know much canon wise about RSA at the moment but Farron is very closely connected to RSA though his closeness with Andrew. Of those at NRC who do know about their relationship, most do not approve of it (except Sidonie) and worry where Farron’s loyalties lay. Particularly as the time for their next spelldrive tournament against RSA draws closer.

I also have a headcanon that Farron has met Vil prior to coming to NRC but Vil doesn’t remember this and Farron lowkey doesn’t want him to remember since it was at a fan event. 

1 - What inspired you to create your oc?

So, Danica was not an oc specifically made for twst. She was originally a winx club oc I created as a teenager and eventually developed into a fully original magical girl with her own story. The plot was kinda cringe though so I’ll likely never do anything with it. But because I hold Danica very closely to my heart (she was one of my very first ocs), I’ve used her as an oc in various fandoms over the years, usually when I needed an ingenue or a performer. And the second I saw the Pomefiore dorm and characters, I actually yelled out “Danica! That’s Danica’s dorm!” 

Originally, Danica was created with several ballet heroines in mind like Giselle, Odette and Odile, particularly the latter two. She went through the majority of her current development around the time I first saw the film Black Swan and when I began developing her for twst, it made sense for Danica to be twisted from the Swan Queen. And so my magical girl was reborn into a swan girl! 

15 - How does your oc interact with the canon narrative? What about it do they change?

Danica enters the canon narrative in Book 2 and helps Yuulan and the Heartslabyul boys in investigating the injuries of the spelldrive players. She devlops a close friendship with Yuulan but she really doesn’t become plot relevant until Books 5 and 6. I won’t get into much detail now since it includes spoilers for future Shining Hearts chapters and some of my followers have not read any of Book 6 yet but I will say that Danica’s presence doesn’t really change anything per se, but her presence (and what happens to her) does further highlight the development of the Pometrio and how some of their thoughts and decisions are either justified or stupid. 

16 - What aspect(s) of the universe’s lore are they connected to? Do they change/add lore to the universe?

As of right now, many of Danica’s connections to lore are in regards to Vil and to a lesser extent, Neige. Her introduction to the narrative slightly changes the trajectory of their dynamic and as we see in the most recent chapter of Shining Hearts, her presence has the potential to affect how Vil is perceived by the public for the better. Vil sees Danica as a means to an end but Neige’s fondness for her (strictly platonic, mind you) stirs his jealousy and for the time being, prevents Vil and Danica from becoming closer until after Book 5. It’s also implied that Neige also envies Vil for his ability to charm Danica since Neige is far less successful in charming his actual crush Lilianne.

his parents came from a line of prominent scholars and artists and wanted him to follow in those footsteps but to achieve that goal they punished him harshly for misbehaviour, mistakes and interests outside their chosen fields

they went so far as to administer drugs to their children to try and enforce compliance, occasionally in co-operation with the disciples of sanctus medicus but usually just through other illicit vendors

yulan showed more interest in the cloud knights and tried to escape his family home in his younger years to try and report his parents, though they had predicted that and bought off the cloud knights in question so yulan was simply returned. this repeated numerous times

given his repeated attempts to escape, his parents locked him away for a few hundred years

by the time he grew entirely fed up with both the authorities and his family's torture (which evidently continued), he took the first chance he noticed to kill his parents and affiliated family members he knew to be of the same disposition as them

he fled the xianzhou alliance after that and became a galaxy ranger in the years immediately following his escape, given his lost faith in the cloud knights that had been meant to protect him in the first place

these days he mainly wanders from planet to planet and dishes out punishment to those deserving of it with considerable cruelty, but his sights are still inevitably set on the remnants of his family that survived his massacre back then

strong-headed, red, and magnets connecting all at once. I know you. you aren't as mysterious than you think, but you are stronger than you think. it's a facade that you've held up for a while. you are honest with everyone but yourself. it's ok to break sometimes, to break the facade you've held up for far too long. there are more people that care for you then you know, love.

yulan is a skilled pianist; in his canon setting he has spent hundreds of years perfecting his skills and enjoys playing only when nobody is listening or if someone he is incredibly close to is around.

given those skills are eternally tied to a life that wished to see him dead and tortured, he finds it intensely irritating to have anyone listening to him without consent.

since yulan was raised to be the equivalent of nobility / high class in all of his verses, he has the capacity to be perfectly sophisticated. it includes all the cliches, from speech to dance, music, art, dinner etiquette etc etc

you'll definitely never see him put any of that to use, though, and if he does have to then he will be visibly pissed and likely cussing his way through it all (aside from playing music, he actually enjoys that)
