So as you may know, In Pokémon Sun/Moon/US/UM , you can get different starters depending on the island on which you start your Island challenge on.

This is shown by the three normal starters on Mele’ Mele island with Kahuna Hala and professor Kukui. And by the three alolan meowth on Ula’ Ula island proposed by Kahuna Nanu to a new Island challenger in the police station.

And so, my brain decided to imagine what the options would be for Akala and Poni island.

I choose 3 Pokémon that all have a 3 stage evolution and can be found in Alola, no pseudo legendary and other ‘official’ starters. Also note that I will not follow the traditional Fire-Water-Grass thing.

Akala Island (Kahuna Olivia):

- Bounsweet

- Alolan Geodude

- Pikipeck

[ For this, I decided to make it a triangle as well. With Bounsweet being effective against Geodude, Geodude against Pikipeck who,is super effective against Bounsweet. Olivia has an alolan graveler on her team, and while Geodude may look like the best option at first.

Bounsweet’s typing will do good against the Water trial, Olivia and Hapu.

Pikipeck is good against Hala, Guzma, the Grass trial and half decent for the Electric trial (the one with the Vikavolt line) and Molayne.

And Geodude is good against Guzma, the Fire trial, Kahili, Molayne and (kind of) the Water trial.]

Also can we talk about the fact that Olivia is super hot…

Poni Island ( Kahuna Hapu):

- Nidoran (gender is random)

- Trapinch

- Swinub

[ All of these Pokémon are found in Alola and all of these are 3 stage evolution that have or gain the ground typing. Which is Hapu’s type specialty.

Nidoran is good against Mina’s fairy trial and the Grass trial at first. Then it’s good against the Electric and Fire trial as well as Olivia and Molayne.

Trapinch is good against the Electric and Fire trial as well as Olivia and Molayne. Before being pretty good against the Wild trial ( Kommo-o’s trial).

And Swinub is good against the Electric, Fire and Grass trial. As well as the Wild trial, Olivia, Molayne, Kahili and Hapu.]

“So. . They are bombs that don’t blow up or cause any pain.”  Ula comments in a melodic tone, leaning in close to Neff’s work station to take in the various glitterly, good-smelling things called bath bombs.  “They dissolve in water and are soothing.” 

A particularly bright and glittery bomb catches their attention.  Delicately, the alien plucks the round thing from the table and rotate their wrist around.  Glittery jet black meets neon green, playful magenta, and moody purple.   It looked like a galaxy.  Ula lifts the crumbly sphere to their nose and give an obnoxiously loud sniff.  It smelled of mint and something else that they were unfamiliar with.

“Oh, Nefeloma, this is beautiful.  It smells good.  But I can’t eat it, can I?” No, you cannot.

I've been wanting to post this headcanon for a while. And I'm getting the urge to write it up now, so...I'll do it.

Ula/Meribella and Cascadia/Christina are opposites in many respects. They have things in common, but one way in which they're opposites is confidence. In the sea, amongst siren society, Ula/Meribella is the confident one, while Cascadia/Christina is the shy , more withdrawn one. On land, the roles are reversed, with Ula/Meribella feeling like (well) a fish out of water, and Cascadia/Christina fitting right in and being more outgoing.

Once Ula/Meribella finds Cascadia/Christina, she has to get used to this new dynamic. She's used to taking the lead, but she can't in this case, because she has a harder time fitting in with humans. So Cascadia/Christina teaches her how to do so, and this is a new experience for Ula/Meribella. She doesn't mind it, necessarily, but it does take some adjustment.

Cascadia/Christina thrives on land, amongst humans and doesn't fit in much with other sirens apart from her sister. Even with Ula/Meribella, Cascadia/Christina feels a bit strange, because she doesn't do the siren thing of eating humans, even the worst of them. Cascadia/Christina simply doesn't believe in it. Ula/Meribella respects that about her sister, but does wonder why. And Cascadia/Christina doesn't know quite how to explain it. She does, however, think that siren society should change and simply survive off fish instead of eating even the worst of humans. Ula/Meribella has never really thought about it, and to be honest only eats bad men, so she doesn't really see the issue. But Cascadia/Christina thinks it's unfair as even the worst humans can change if they want to, and if they get eaten before they can, well...that's just a shame.

Therefore, Cascadia/Christina has no plans on returning to siren society full-time unless things do change. And this is a shock to Ula/Meribella, who is assuming her sister is having trouble fitting in with humanity when that's not at all the case. Ula/Meribella, on the other hand, misses siren society. Once the two sisters meet, Ula/Meribella manages to get Cascadia/Christina to spend six months in the ocean, and six months on land. But that's all that Cascadia/Christina will agree to. Ula/Meribella hopes that eventually Cascadia/Christina will come back home full-time, but if not, she will continue to accompany her sister wherever she is.

Their mother is not entirely happy with the plan, but figure it's better than not seeing her daughters at all. And she knows that Ula/Meribella just wants to look out for her younger sister. Cascadia/Christina doesn't really need it on land, however, Ula/Meribella would miss her sister too much if they were apart. And so Ula/Meribella pretends that she's there to help Cascadia/Christina on land, when really it's the other way around. Ula/Meribella is the one who needs help on land.

Once Ula/Meribella finds her sister, Cascadia/Christina does adopt the name "Brown", which Ula/Meribella uses on land. She does this to further fit in with humanity and to remain close to her sister, as despite their differences, there is a lot of love there. Cascadia/Christina loves Ula/Meribella, even if she doesn't fully understand her choices and vice versa. Ula/Meribella is happy that her sister adopts the name, and though she pretends to herself and to their mother that she's there to help Cascadia/Christina, she is grateful for her sister's help on land with humans.

Therefore, when it comes to confidence, Ula/Meribella is more confident in the sea, amongst siren society, whereas Cascadia/Christina is more confident on land, amongst humanity. Though both of the sisters are good people, they have their differences. For example, Ula/Meribella doesn't see eating bad men (in the ocean, where she can use her heart reading power), as a breach of her moral code, whereas Cascadia/Christina would. She doesn't believe any human is ever irredeemably bad, and even if they were, it would not be her task to kill them for it. Ula/Meribella does respect her sister's wishes even if she doesn't fully understand them.

Ula/Meribella takes the lead in the sea, while Cascadia/Christina takes the lead on land. Their mother is not aware of this, and the two sisters take care to keep her unaware of it, as she would not understand Cascadia/Christina's lack of eating bad humans or her desire to spend any significant time with humanity. Though Ula/Meribella does eat bad humans (only the men, though), she respects her sister's feelings and doesn't force her to do so. Their mother is another story, feeling that Cascadia/Christina is a bad siren because she cannot eat bad humans. The two of them have often fought about it, and their last fight about it is why Cascadia/Christina left.

Ula/Meribella will often take her sister's side, even if she doesn't fully get why Cascadia/Christina can't eat bad humans. And their mother doesn't mind, because she hopes that Ula/Meribella will set a good example for her younger sister. However, Cascadia/Christina has no intention of changing. Nor would Ula/Meribella ever force her to.

Their mother may be the queen of siren society, but both of her daughters have a mind of their own. And the two sisters have always been close. And hopefully, always will be. At least, Ula/Meribella and Cascadia/Christina themselves hope so.

Random Headcanon for Nanu (can't quite get the symbol for it on my phone)

I briefly talked about it in this post : in my headcanon, Nanu's first pokemon wasn't a Meowth but a Rattata he caught as a kid on Ula-Ula and was his ace for years.

Sadly, while it lived rather long for such a scrappy Pokemon, it died a couple of years after Nanu joined Interpol.

Nanu remembers it rather fondly but it was still a nasty little thing which, looking back, he trained horribly despite their friendship (think of Ash and Charizard).

I wanted to do a little attempt at making my own SMG4 Headcanons (possibly new refresh ones since I haven't been in a mood lately to one of my Other Fandoms ever since). Anyways, here's a New SMG4 OC that I have a New Headcanon around the Boopkins Family. Yes I know that Joe can produce asexuality since he did gave birth to JubJub in a Toliet by accident but I figure why not give Boopkins and JubJub at least their own Mother? Yeah, I know it was somewhat stated that one of the Teletubbies was supposed to be Boopkins' Mother but I looked through Joe's wiki article which is actually somewhat stated that Laa-Laa isn't really his Wife nor perhaps Boopkins and Jub-Jub's actual biological mother as it was perhaps a Joke and that his actual wife is unstated. Well, fear not because I do headcanon that Joe's actual Wife was supposedly a Mermaid who had the same size as him (Mermaids are indeed Sea Creatures too despite mostly being Mythological Creatures that shares half of the body of a Human while half of the Body of a Fish). Ula Boopkins is the Late Wife of Joe Boopkins and even the Biological Mother of Fishy and Jub-Jub Boopkins. Like her Husband, she's a Gigantic Mermaid just like how Joe is a supposed Cthulhu. Her own Father was a Sailor while her Mother was a Mermaid who can change her own size just like their Daughter. She mostly lived with her Mother at their own palace in the Sea but she does tend to visit her Father during her own Surface Days. During her own Childhood Days, She met Joe when they were both Kids around that time and although Ula's Father did seem to appreacite Joe her own Mother however wasn't too sure mainly because on how she saw that Sea Monsters were far different than Mermaids. A Few Years later, after much thinking through, Ula's Mother finally decided to accept Joe for she did allow him to marry their own Daughter as Ula moved to Joe's place where she now lived with her Husband. A Few Months later, they had Boopkins (Ula never really gave birth since her Husband can produce asexual so I guess you could say that she's lucky to not have any Mood Swings during pregnancy). Boopkins was oftend fond with both of his Parents growing up considering they loved him very much as he loved them back. But during Boopkins' Toddler years of his Growth, a Band of Pirates on a Pirate Ship were coming by to destory the Homelands of the Sea Creatures as there was somewhat an Attack around in the Fish Village were Pirates were shooting down each of their Homelands which caused Joe to become even more pissed as his Wife had to protect their Youngest Child. But tragically during the War, Ula was shot and killed by the Pirate Captain which remorsefully heartbroken her Husband which caused Joe to cause an entire big wave to destory their entire ship as the Pirates were washed up on a Different Island but the Ship was sunken down under the sea. Resulting in having a Dead Wife, it was now up to Joe to raise his one and only Son who missed his Mother deeply as Joe and Boopkins had to move in a Different Land for a Different Area of the Ocean where Pirates wouldn't come to destory their lands, only then did Boopkins' Father roamed around the Seas as a reminder to keep his Wife's legacy ongoing by protecting the Sea in order for Hunters to get away from their lands under the Sea while still keeping an eye off their own Offspring (hence, that's why Joe's so overprotective of his Children because of the Tragic Iccident of his First Wife). Meaning that she sadly never got to see her Second/Youngest Son (JubJub). SMG4 (c) Luke and Kevin Lerdwichagul Ula Boopkins (c) Me

Ula has been arrested ONE time because she repeatedly entered the same store without shoes on.  The charges for trespassing were dropped, but not before she spent a single night in jail.  A “lesson,” the shopkeep called it. 

During her 9-hour stay, Ula scratched a single tally into her cell’s wall to count her one day in the “Slammer.”

Child!God Reader Headcanons Part two:

warnings: toxic family, cult behaviors, a child under 10 is considered god, verbal arguing

A festival was held in honor of you finally arriving in Teyvat, in Mondstadt no less. Everyone was honored and ecstatic by your arrival.

You were a bit out of it, but you still believed this to be a dream. So you were happy by Eula's side, holding onto her hand tightly as you were led around Mondstadt to experience the festival held just for you.

It was a dream come true, you were so excited you couldn't tell how nervous Eula was.

She was silently hoping her worrying wouldn't be warranted, that nothing would happen and you could have a good time. In the end, she was wrong.

Her relatives approached, acting all buddy-buddy with her and you.

Jean raised a brow at this, "Could you please refrain from interrupting their grace's festivities?" That was a warning.

A warning Eula's family didn't heed.

Her father scowled, "Don't you see, their grace prefers the Lawrence family. Don't you think that's a sign that the Lawrence family should be in charge of Mondstadt? After all, their grace knows best, and they prefer our family."

Jean faltered, and Eula tugged you closer to her, inching away from her family.

Of course, leave it up to her family to drag a child into political business.

"Their grace doesn't care for politics, father." Eula glared, "Remember, they are still young-"

"Are you saying their grace isn't knowledgeable on the workings of Teyvat?" Her father glared at her, a silent warning to stay quiet.

Eula scoffed, "You know that's not what-"

"Eula." He snapped, and Eula's heartrate spiked.

Your grip on her leg increased as you stared up at the man and Eula. An uneasy feeling built up in your stomach. You could only think 'Ula's upset. It's because of this man. Stranger danger, he's bad news. You frowned.

Jean hissed the man's name, "Today is their grace's day and Mondstadt's day to celebrate. There are people from other regions on their way as well. Please, don't ruin this for everyone." Jean's normally kind and polite expression was turned cold and harsh. A small glare piercing the man.

Every time that man, or any of Eula's family was around, she'd get so uncomfortable. To the point you started to glare when they came around.

They always spoke of politics and right of power when they were around as well. Insisting upon the Lawrence name being the one to rule Mondstadt once again.

It was a pot ready to boil over, and soon.

Eula was never-ending in her duties, however you had shaken up her schedule quite a bit.

You were always by her side, clinging onto her. She was a semblance of home in the unfamiliar world. You woke up crying the morning after you'd arrived. Crying for family and friends you could no longer see.

Jean was the closest to you, sleeping in a room close to your luxurious one.

You were inconsolable until Eula arrived. You clung to her and sobbed into her abdomen, begging to go home.

She picked you up and did her best to care for you... but she had no comforting words for you. You'd never see your family again, but you couldn't handle that thought.

Soon, you'd tired yourself out, merely sobbing into Eula's clothes.

She and Amber took you out to eat, and then let you do whatever you wished for the day.

If there's an issue to be solved, Eula is the last knight to be called on. Her new duty was to be your personal guard... though she was more like a parental figure to you than anything.

You saw her as one too because after a week of clinging to her side, you got sick of failing to pronounce her name.

"U-Eu-U- Oola-Eu-Ula- Ugh! Mom! How do I tie my shoes again?"

She froze completely, but composed herself just as fast. She came to your side and reminded you how to tie your shoes, but she couldn't stop thinking about what you'd called her.

Joy was short-lived and overtaken by guilt. You had a mother before you came to Teyvat, and she didn't want to replace her in your mind. Eula merely wanted to take care of you while you were here.

But as far as anyone knew, there was no way for you to get back. Was there anything else she could do other than let you call her mom? She wanted you to have a family, or a pseudo family anyways. But her family was possibly the worst choice in all of Mondstadt.

It was cruel to take you in to an awful family wasn't it? But was there anyone else you'd accept as Mom? It was hard enough to get to this point of comfortableness, she didn't want to undo any of your progress.

So she left it be.

"Mom!" You shouted, interrupting her sword training.

Lately, you'd been able to stray a bit away from her, accompanied by Amber. But the two of you were always within Mondstadt's walls when you strayed off without her.

She immediately stopped swinging her sword, turning to see you and Amber racing towards her.

Amber reached her first (though Eula could tell she was going a bit easy on you), and you nearly rammed into Eula. You grinned up at her, tugging at her clothes, "Come on, Mom! Your training's over let's go!" You giggled.

"It's over already?" Eula hummed, looking to Amber.

She nodded, "Yep! Your training's over Eula, it's time to take a break!" Amber giggled, joining you in tugging on Eula's clothes.

The boiling pot was knocked over as a scathingly familiar voice called out to the three.

"Mom?" The male's voice took on a falsely sweet tone as he looked down at you, "So you see yourself as a Lawrence?"

"U-uh..." You trailed off, instinctively scooting to hide more behind Eula. Your hand gripping onto her clothing tightly.

"Leave their grace and Eula alone!" Amber jumped in-between you two and the man, "You're obviously making them very uncomfortable! Plus, their grace is still a child! They don't need to be worrying about politics, god or not."

The man scowled briefly but wiped it from his face as he crouched down to your height. “Do you see my daughter Eula as your mother?”

You whimpered, and Amber glared at him, opening her mouth to retaliate.

He interrupted her before she could with a scathing glare, "Shouldn't you let their grace voice their opinions."

Eula placed a hand on Amber's shoulder to calm her, but your small form huffed, shaking with many emotions you didn't understand. Although you could pinpoint a few, and the most prevalent was anger.

"Just leave us alone!" You shouted, hanging onto Eula's clothing tightly, "You're making Mom upset!"

Eula frowned, "Your grace-"

"So you do see her as your mother? I am her father. That makes us related, don't you think so?" His smile was sickening, so fake you could nearly taste the cardboard cutout that was his smile.

You stuttered, glancing up at Eula for help.

"Father, leave their grace out of this." A cold anger brewed in her eyes, a demand for not just vengeance but justice, "They are a child first and foremost, one that doesn't not know nor care for the way of Mondstadt's politics. Have some decency, please."

"Eula," He hissed, "Do you not care for the wellbeing of the Lawrence household?" He raised himself from the ground, snarling at the woman you were cowering behind.

"You'll be fine, so-called mom of Teyvat's god, but what about the rest of us? You're just going to leave us with our already awful reputation and run off to a better life to leave all of us behind?"

Eula was frozen, clutching onto your shoulder, "Amber, take their grace away." She choked out.

"Eula-"

"Amber."

She faltered and grabbed your hand.

"Mo-Mom?" You held onto her cape tightly.

"I'll be fine, little one." She smiled, but her eyes were upset torrents of ice, as she gently pried your hand away.

As soon as your hand had let go, Amber picked you up and dashed away.

"Wha-what's happening! Amber!" You whined, tears pricking your eyes.

"Shh, Eula is fine," Amber's voice didn't sound convinced of her own words, "She can handle it, she just doesn't want you to see her... unruly father. Okay? It'll be okay."

"Bu-but-!" You hiccupped on tears in your throat.

"Amber," The usually teasing voice of cavalry captain, now turned serious, had her stopping in her tracks, "What is happening? Your grace, are you alright?"

Before Amber could respond to him you sobbed out, "Mom's dad is - is -he's making her sad!"

Kaeya's expression darkened, "Again?"

"Eula and him are at the Favonius training grounds. She asked me to take their grace away from the two." Amber frowned, shifting you in her arms, holding on tighter.

Kaeya nodded, "Good. I'll go over there to make sure Eula's alright, you keep their grace." His eyes focused on you and he smiled, the same sweet smile he always sent you, "You hear that, your grace? I'm going to check up on your mom, so wipe your tears." He rubbed his thumbs under your eyes, "And go have fun with Amber, okay?"

You hiccupped but nodded, your tears having slowed down slightly, "Okay Kaeya." You muttered.

"Good." He nodded to you, and then nodded to Amber with a much graver expression.
