Yes, I‘ve watched the new Mario movie.

Yes, I‘m a little obsessed with some of the caracters.

Is my main obsession Donkey Kong? - No, but for some reason my brain decided to be creative when it comes to him.

90% of the time he‘ll be the big spoon, most definitely because of the massive size difference between you two and his desire to make you feel safe - he doesn‘t train as much as he does for nothing after all

The few times you tried to change it up you felt more like a backpack than his partner

Most of the time it‘s you laying on top of him or sitting in his lap

Depending on the mood there are two kinds of cuddles

Either Donkey Kong is in a playful mood and you‘ll end up being teased and tickled while he‘s keeping you in his arms

Feel free to get back at him though, while he dishes out a lot he can‘t really take it. As soon as you tickle him back he‘ll be the one begging for mercy in less than a minute

But sometimes it‘s one of those very intimate times where he doesn‘t put on his macho persona and just melts into you

He‘ll hide his head in your neck while hugging you tightly and relaxes when you let your fingers dance through his fur, talking about what‘s been bothering him, mostly involving another rejection from his father

There‘s no teasing, no smirks and winks coming your way and his voice isn‘t as boisterous

Even with his massive frame, during those times he seems so weak and timid as he‘s enveloping you in his arms, being so careful as if you‘re made of porcelain

Those are the times that really solidify your relationship, he doesn‘t show this side to just anyone. The only one that has ever seen him like this once was Diddy Kong - by pure accident

But no matter if he‘s going through some tough times, he‘s a very cuddly ape so expect to be caged in his arms for quite a bit - maybe get a good book to read

He doesn’t seem like it but he‘d also love if you could read it to him

Cuddling together and listening to you has become one of his favorite pastimes and is a very good way to get his mind off things because deep down he‘s a very big cuddle bug
