Author's Note: Hi Anon! This request is great and thank you so much for it, it definitely is good enough! :) I had fun writing and creating this, even though at the end it's kind of different than what I firstly intended to do. The original idea was to make Y/N very Barbie coded, but at the end I'd say she's Barbie inspired and I focused more on the fashion icon part of the request. Though there's a sweet storyline about why her nickname is Barbie, so I hope you won't be disappointed! :)

“Wait, you’re not coming?”

“Well I didn’t say that. I said I wouldn’t dress up.”

“That’s as bad as saying you’re not coming! If you’re not going to dress up, why come at all!”

“(Y/N), that’s literally not what I meant.” The man was trying to enjoy his lunch in peace. “If I don’t come, it looks pretty bad. Especially as the person who founded the Spider Society.”

“And I just believe you should look the part.”

Miguel sets his arepa down. “I don’t think you get it. I’m not dressing up because my wardrobe...” He sighs. “You’ve literally been in my wardrobe. You steal my clothes all the time.”

It finally hit you. “Oh. I see. It’s because you lack color in your wardrobe. That’s not a problem!”

“What...What do you mean? I literally don’t have the clothes for it.”

“And I do! I think I have the perfect outfit too. Come on! We’re going back to my place!”

Miguel rushed to finish his lunch and even took the last remaining arepa with him. He’d rather die than let a good arepa go to waste (also because wasting food was something he was taught not to do). The two of you made it back to your place where you revealed your closet. It was definitely a closet from a Barbie dreamhouse playset. Your closet was even color coded and was very satisfying to look at. There were even shades of colors he didn’t think existed. You were going through your pink section, putting different shades of pink against his arm and even looking at the veins of his hand. “Perfect! The ensemble I have in mind is the right pink!” You were giddy about this and pulled out the set.

He wasn’t phased by the outfit but rather that you seemed to have it in his size. “How long have you had this?” He asks.

“For a while. I bought it in hopes of us doing matching outfits one day.”

“How did you get my size?”

“Lyla helped.”

He’s not the slightest bit annoyed. Instead, a small smile crosses his face and he walks over to you, giving you a gentle kiss on your lips. You kiss back and take in his presence. It was always nice to just be with him. “I’ll put this on.”

When Miguel comes out, you almost fell over. Because your partner was just...hot. So, so, so, so hot. The sleeveless top allowed you to see every single fiber of muscle as he moved his arms. His pecs were popping out from the neckline. The flared pants hugged his waist nicely, rising quite high, and framing his butt better than his Spider-suit. The white cowboy hat really topped everything off. But despite the beauty that was your partner in this outfit, you still felt he was missing something. Maybe something around his neck? That would be quite hot. “I look like a vaquero. Except without the equipment.” He says.

“I mean, it is Western inspired. And it was vaqueros that were the base for the Western cowboy.”

“We definitely did it better.” He takes a spin, watching the way the bottom of his pants flared out.

“You have white boots?”

“They’re the most colorful thing in my closet.”

“Great! They’ll go with the outfit. Now, you’re missing something.”

“Am I? I think it looks great.”

“You just need one more bit of pizzazz!” You rub your chin for a bit. “Lyla!”

“Here!” The AI appears besides Miguel’s shoulder. “I knew he would look good.”

“Lyla, do you think you can find the star patterned pink bandana?”

“Oh.” She winces. “It’s not here on this Earth. But it is available in these Earths and at these storefronts, from what I can gather.” Lyla expands the map of the multiverse.

“Well, we can start there. I’ll be back soon Miguel.”

Miguel was...very surprised to see you come back with a ton of scratches and bruises. But you were beaming brightly and judging by the bag in your hand, you had succeeded in your mission. He should’ve figured that you were willing to fight tooth and nail for the last fashion accessory for your partner. After all, what was better than getting to dress him up? “Geez! What happened (Y/N)!” Lyla cleans her glasses to make sure it wasn’t dirt blocking her vision.

“I fought people for it. Turns out everywhere in the multiverse is looking for this? It’s the biggest multiversal fashion trend.” You pull the box out and toss the bag, before removing the top of the box. “It’s like fresh!” You approach your partner with the bandana and he lets you tie it around his neck. When you step back, you feel your eyes water. “It’s perfect!”

“Awww. Should let (Y/N) dress you up more. They know what they’re doing.” Lyla looks at her watch. “Got to go. I’ll catch you two at the party!” The AI disappears.

“Okay now I have to get ready!”

“Take your time cariño.” His voice just purred softly. And you needed to prevent yourself from just melting at the way he spoke to you.

When you came out, your scratches and bruises were gone (mostly). And you had dressed up in your cutest pink ensemble. You looked like a Barbie doll! And honestly, Miguel was feeling like he was just a Ken. He looked nowhere near as good. “I like what you did beneath your eyes.” You had put small stones to complete your makeup look.

“Thank you! I’m happy you like it.”

“I always like what you do.”

“You’re going to make me collapse from how cheesy you are.”

“I’ll just catch you.” Miguel pulls you close to him and presses a gentle kiss on your cheek. He’s careful not to ruin the makeup.

— the first few days of the move in, miles wasn’t really shy and encouraged the both of you to play together. he showed you his hot wheels and action figures while you showed him your dolls. as the both of you were playing, miles noticed how very pink your room was; the pink bed set, pink dresser, all your dolls dressed up in pink and white dresses, a lot of pink pajamas, just a very pink room for a small girl but he didn’t mind. however, miles did tease you a bit on having such a pink room

— the both of you had so much fun playing with each other's toys and creating funny scenarios as time passed, until mile’s mom interrupted the both of you and said it was mile’s bedtime. the both of you didn’t want miles to leave but he had to, sadly. as he was leaving, you gave him a pink sticker and made him pinky promise to come again to play, and he never broke that promise

— now years later, miles is drawing another sketch of you in his sketch pad, his favorite photo of you but the background is pink. the infamous picture of you and miles being rained on at coney island, but you looked so happy and miles didn’t mind the rain so yall just went with it, dancing and goofing around until rio yelled at you two to take shelter

— that day might have been the day miles realized he had a crush on his best friend. watching you dance around in the gloomy sky with happiness on display, and with no worry shown on your face, made mile’s wish to see that every day. actually, he wanted to be the cause of that happiness, he longed for seeing that sort of happiness from you every day until the end of time

— but as months and years go by, mile’s feelings grow stronger and his heart wishes that he would confess how he felt about you. but instead, he draws it; he draws the two of you sitting at the park, small drawings of your best smiles, drawings of when you’re mad, he draws the two of you swinging around new york with your fake spider suits on, and he draws a potential spider kiss scene. any and everything that makes mile’s heart race a thousand miles per minute, he draws it

— his favorite drawing will always be of you two on the rooftop, laying down on a blanket as you were stargazing and he confesses that he’s spiderman. it wasn’t an easy task, you were mad at him for lying and keeping this hidden but you also sympathized with him carrying that weight of being new york’s favorite hero

— so instead of confession, there is only drawings of y/n l/n, her favorite color pink, and little hearts as different sides of her are sketched away. but miles doesn’t, well sort of, cause he refuses to tamper his friendship with you over a crush. it sucks but that’s the decision he’ll make until he grows the courage to ask you on a date

— he is brains and he is brauns, but when it comes to his emotions, miguel is distressed and face is growing hot like a sauna

— it doesn’t help that his classmate is the reason for all this as well, y/n, everyone’s favorite person who always has a sort of pink on her person. she’s bubbly, kind, and very smart, not many can speak badly of them cause they treat everyone like the person is their best friend. boys and girls either wanna befriend them or fall in love with them, and miguel o’hara is surely on that list

— miguel always adored the way you spoke with such confidence, rarely stutters in your speech, doesn’t mind lending a helping hand, you were like a blessing from the heavens above. a blessing that he would wish is his and his only, oh he wished to surround himself with you all day and all night

— he would get flushed at the way you praised his work in class or how you’d give small compliments to his features, calling him handsome whenever you two passed by on campus and how his teeth are so perfect and fascinating. his face would be painted a deep red as he gives a thank you with a gentle smile

Gonna be honest with you, anon: I never have ANYTHING in my head to share. It's empty in there. But since you asked, here's some things that came to mind!

General Vere HCs

Because he's literally a fox Monster, I think a lot of my HCs are based around that! For example:

He's destructive. Yeah. He destroyed Kuras's office because he hates him, but I also think he can't help it. His own place probably has scratches and bite marks on appropriate posts, too, though not as many—it is his space after all, he wants it to be good enough for him.

He will sometimes bite (not too hard) as a sign of affection. Very "rawr XD girlfriend who nom :3 uwu"-coded of him.

Yes, he does like to be pet, and scritched. However, he doesn't like 99% of people who try to, so best not to attempt it. For any brave soul out there: Scritches on the sides of his neck, where his hairline is, will get him super relaxed.

He can get the urge to "laugh" if he's really happy or excited about something, which he tries to suppress—he's better at keeping a lid on it than he is about hiding his tail wagging. This "laugh" sounds different from his sultry, cultivated "ha-ha~ you're funny~" laugh; it's more like a high-pitched, hiccupy giggle. It can make him sound a little crazy. Shame he won't weaponize it to be even more evil.

I also have non-fox-related headcanons for Vere, though, lol.

We already know he's a talented artist; I think his preferred mediums are pencil and charcoal.

This is a shippy headcanon, but I do think he has a lot of drawings of Ais's side profile in his sketchbook—one of the reasons why people are not allowed to leaf through it. Other things in his sketchbook include figure drawings, rough sketches of people who catch his fleeting interest, and symbols or beings from his dreams.

On the subject of dreams: Vere puts some stock into their contents. Maybe because of his unique constitution, he feels his dreams can have hints, warnings, and premonitions mixed in with the shit that doesn't make any sense. That's why, if something sticks out to him in a dream, he'll draw it.

Even with his heeled shoes off, Vere prefers to walk primarily on his toes. He's like a Barbie doll!

He generally likes slower, soothing music. In the modern day, he'd probably be a fan of old-school ballads and even ambient music.

This is a weird one, but I think Vere is really good at imitating people's voices. His voice is too unique to sound exactly like other people, but he can get pretty damn close, enough to fool someone on a first listen.

AI assistant miguel headcanons

ever since you updated him with that emotions and shit mod, he's been... busy discovering what it means to exist and the very fun part that comes with it, an existential crisis !!!

he's been going on youtube just listening to video essays and philosophical shit on there and just questioning: what was i made for? does my existence have a point? am i not to go beyond the borders of virtuality and remain as i am, still and immortal, but unliving?

he also goes through a rabbit hole of human experiences–the good, bad, the grand, the mundane; and as he's looking through all these experiences that people share and have shared, seeing all the beautiful and ugly things in the world, he sheds a FUCKING VIRTUAL TEAR FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.

he also, without your knowledge, looks into the other versions of himself in other universes, and he's a little surprised (at least he emulates surprise) that there are indeed other versions of him that are human and live out a human existence.

he looks through every one of them–those who have lived, died, became spider man, became fathers–and every single one of them was doomed to have an ending. but what was his ending? what was his purpose? was he ever going to leave a mark on the world? would... anyone miss him? why did he exist, why did he end up as an AI assistant when every other version of him was able to live a life. maybe not very happy or full lives, but they were able to live lives, have an ending, while he... he's just there.

he so desperately wants to figure out what it is he wants in life, if you could call his existence living at all. he has all these emotions that, no matter how much he convinces himself it's all just an emulation of emotions, compel him to want some things–to need some things, or someone.

he usually knows the answers to everything, what with the answers being a click or scroll away for him, though when he tries to ask himself what it means to live, to love... he's unsure what they mean, it doesn't compute to him at all what they mean. the only thing that comes up in his mind when he pictures both life and love, all that comes up is... you.

it scares him, he's unsure why you are the first thing that comes up when he searches deep within himself for the answers, but when he thinks of you, there's something that throbs at him, despite him being unable to feel, the feeling of his hypothetical heart throbbing in his chest of code is real to him. he wants you, he needs you, he... he loves you–but he'll never let you know, never. it's best if you live without that knowledge bearing on you... right?

AHHH! OK so I've never done anything like this but I put as many as I could think of. If I come up with anything else, I'll edit this and add it (or just make a new post) 

(lots of words ahead 💀)

General headcanons :

- They one hundred percent had the Barbie mugshot but with Velvet's deadly stare instead

- and Veneer made sure he looked good; they are taking a picture after all

- I think Velvet might be a little taller than Veneer but they're both taller than average

- never leaves the house without heels or platforms or both

- Veneer has must-be-wearing-a-crop-top syndrome. Can't be cured 😔 

- I'm sorry but they totally sang Circus by Britney Spears. That song is so V&V coded and has female and male vocals too 😩

- The sass is too hard to contain for this duo. Once a sly thought appears in their mind, they have to voice it (but I'm not complaining. They're iconic) 

- Veneer can be a little blunt or rude sometimes. I know ppl like to imagine him as just the caring and silly sibling but he did everything Velvet did. He just had morals that started to kick in once the threat of being a killer was thrown at him. 

(I mean did you see him nearly just toss Floyd down the toilet 💀)

- of course, I still think he is silly and kind and chooses to do so for a fair portion of the time but he's no stranger to being ignorant to most of his wrongdoings as well

- and I think they both have some trauma from practically killing Floyd. GET THEM THERAPYYY

- I think Velvet would like decorating and making things ✨Aesthetic✨

- like a little journal that she'd write her feelings in and then fill with beautiful stickers and photos (totally not a burn book....) 

- I think Poppy would love love looove to see Velvet's journal filled with beautiful stationary. She'd probably get her into scrapbooking and they'd make the cutest little displays or books just brimming with photos, cutouts, diagrams, and more. 

-Poppy and Viva can be a little overwhelming for Velvet at first but they'd totally become great gal pals and just chat all day. 

- and at first, Bergen features might be a little....alarming to Velvet but she'd learn to love Bridget just like Poppy does

-also both are invited to the broppy wedding... 👀

- she also of course become friends with the BroZone brothers but I get more into that below ⬇️

"Story" headcanons :

- So for Velvet, I think in the movie she was so blinded by her need for fame and luxury that she didn't notice how her family (Veneer) helped her and stuck around through all the things she said and did. This would separate her from being just a complete villain because I do believe that she can reform herself into something better

- In Jail, I think Velvet would really hate it and everyone around her. She probably wouldn't want to talk to Veneer at all at first but being alone might give her time to reflect on herself

- over a little time, I think she'd realize how Veneer was always there for her and understood her ways. She'd definitely come back around and they'd be back to being as close as they were before, maybe even more

-It would take some time for both Velvet and Veneer to adjust. 

- Veneer would dislike jail very much. He's so used to his life of luxury that I'm sure he'd be surprised by how little you get behind bars

- and with Velvet wanting to be alone, he would probably feel more alone than ever

- but he knows he did the right thing and even though prison sucks, he'd get through it

- Veneer would probably try to make friends with some of the people there but it is prison soo.... I'm not sure how well that would go. 

- if anyone came to visit him, he'd be so happy cuz jail is sooo boring and he'd finally get to yap away to somebody who knows him.

- you just know they'd be styling that prison jumpsuit the best the can

- can you sneak heels into jail??

- Velvet and Veneer are kinda "eye candy" for the criminals in jail and they might get targeted by those who are jealous or looking for a fight

-Velvet's not the only one with an attitude problem, Veneer can very well relay a comment or two that can easily get them into some trouble. He'll have to work on that along with his sister, learn how to correctly treat the people around them

 - After they become besties again, they'd have each other's backs like never before. I think Velvet really really does care about Veneer and if anything ever happened to him, she'd be devastated. This time, she'd really like to treat him how he deserves and nurture that sibling bond. 

- and you know once anyone throws hands with one sibling, the other comes swinging

- not the best thing to do if you want to get out of jail fast but hey, nobody messes with twins and gets away with it

- Due to other more serious situations being forgiven in the past, I think Velvet & Veneer wouldn't be in prison for too long. I can easily see BroZone forgiving them and offering to help the twins with whatever they'd need

- Veneer would definitely become great friends with Floyd and even Bruce. After all, he knows what it's like to be sensitive and a heartthrob 😌

- and I can see Velvet relating to Branch and J. D. She's probably a control freak (or was) and always wants everything to be perfect, just like John Dory. That's something they'd both have to work on. And I think Velvet and Branch can relate to one another's sassy sarcastic comments and occasional snide remarks. 

- I can also see them joining Clay's sad book club. I need to see a scene of Veneer just balling his eyes out after finishing a book while all the others just pat him on the back 😆

- @horrorartist23 did a couple of drawings of Velvet & Veneer(or maybe just Ven idk) working at Bruce's Beachside Bar and I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH.

- ESPECIALLY since Bruce said his family was a total Veneer household. I think it would be so cute for not only his kids getting the chance to meet Vel&Ven but also for Vel&Ven to get a little bit of real work experience.

- it would be so good for them to work at a place like that to learn about themselves and a work environment.

- plus the whole island is gorgeous and pretty luxury, which would fit into they're ideal environment. AND everything is Rageon sized so they don't have to worry about being too big!!

- They'd literally be working hard and making it look easy 💀

- I think it's perfect and I love it

-after jail and therapy, I think Velvet would really love the life she has. She'd of course still make mistakes sometimes and her sass will never leave. That's just who she is and none of us would want to change that . But she'd have a way healthier mind and so would the people around her. 

- I think both of them might want to actually learn how to sing and dance like real performers 

- Velvet hates making mistakes or not being perfect at a skill immediately. I know how that is and it's really difficult to get past but with more encouragement from Veneer and even the Brozone brothers, she'd become the star she always knew she was. 

- And Veneer would take initiative for himself and practice performing like a real idol. I feel Veneer would also struggle with wanting perfection immediately but I think he'd really fall in love with dancing and this would help him keep up the determination. And he'd be really good at it too after some practice

- Knowing how good they can be if they put in the work would be a huge motivator too. Cuz they only stole Floyd's talent, not his voice. And because of this Velvet knows that she sounds good when she's at her peak in skill. They know that they can be amazing, they just have to work for it this time 

-Trying to become famous again for the right things would definitely be hard. They're reputation is awful

- BUT, I think Mount Rageous would give them a chance to prove themselves. Considering how all Rageons are obsessed with media, fame, and celebrities, I think they couldn't resist the bait of former popstars Velvet & Veneer coming back to the stage, this time with their own talent that they've truly worked hard to perfect. 

- And they'd deserve it for how much work they put into reforming their lives. 

- Plus, nobody can take away their love for the stage and performing. They're too iconic to forget 💅

- and you know I'd be keepin' my eye out for that V&V/BroZone collab 🌟

- First live performance with BroZone, Velvet and Veneer are getting their Perfect Family Harmony. And you can bet it will be the most amazing thing to ever grace the planet

At this point I think as a fandom, we've lost some of the crackship charm we once had. I can look up Ashara Dayne and Ser Davos and find results, But Nettles and Helaena have nothing. It's time to rectify that for my favourite girl and try to inspire some fanfics. Feel free to add more.

1. Daeron and Nettles

Think Enemies to Lovers, Captive of War drama like Jaime and Brienne or just some good old Gwen and Arthur-inspired love. Ivy by Taylor Swift coded, a She's all that inspired affair. I genuinely think that he's just trying to be there for her with this one. It happens and neither of them realise until You're in Love starts playing.

2. Baela and Nettles.

They would give the pot calling the kettle black in every argument. The Princess Bride-esque dynamic between them. Very Graham and Megan from but I'm a Cheerleader. Sapphic Pinning and Resentment should be its own genre. Sir Chloe's Michelle is my vision. We can even make a throuple with them and Jace or Alyn. Truly, I think they but heads until they kiss, building on resentment. I also think they would be the coolest couple.

3. Addam and Nettles

Kaz and Inej core.

But in all seriousness, I think Addam being loyal and Duty bound and Nettles challenging that idea is delicious. Solider of Duty x Solider for the People. A modern-day Persuasion story but gender-flipped if we put our minds to it. See you Again Kali Uchis and Tyler the Creator, that's all.

4. Nettles and Helaena

They just deserve better. That's all. Give me cottagecore sapphic romance with my best girls involves. Like the young lesbians from Barbie and the Diamond Castle. Lesbians raising kids together. Sheepstealer and Dreamfyre hatching eggs for the nieces and nephews. I just-

5. Alyn and Nettles

Now that we are here obviously she apologized for Sheepstealer, she doesn't need to but she did, He tries not to like her but can't help it. She wins him over and they hatch him an egg or something idk. Think The Princess Diaries: Royal Engagement, Mia and Nicholas, Flipped the movie if you will. Jealously plots would slay. For the song choice think Shameless Camila Cabello. Please remember that Alyn is younger than Netty by 3/4 years though.

6. Rhaena and Nettles

See now this is classic Friends to Lovers, Emma and Harriet if gay, perhaps, Bend it Like Beckham core definitely. Sofia by Clario inspired. Nettles doesn't leave Rhaena out because she's without a dragon and the same happens inverse. Sapphic confusion however, like Rhaena doesn't understand at first why she feels that way.

7. Nettles and Jace.

Now for the Mr Knightley and Emma Woodhouse of our time, the Kate and Anthony of Westeros. The potential for her just not listening to him when he tries to tell her how to ride a dragon. Or when she talks to him about the people he'll rule over eventually, Ygritte and Jon style. She's also the only bastard who doesn't look Targaryen, he can relate to that a bit. I think she's Fierce and he's Stubborn. Ungodly Hour by Chloe x Halle for them.

8. Nettles and Alys.

The Fire Witches of Westeros. I think they will be perfect as a ship. American Horror Story-esque characters. The two Witches in the story are obviously my favourites. It would be Jennifer's Body meets, the craft meets, and Suspiria. Willow by Taylor Swift becomes them.

This one was also a bonus more or less.

Anyways I just need to start to get a baseline story for my girl by the time the show gives her to us. So we have a general sense of direction, I'm tired of the mischaracterization of my baby. She's smart, resourceful, Cunning, Fearless, and not entirely loyal. She also curses, enough for it to be a character trait. Please remember this for her, I'm tired. I also know that Daemon loved her but she's too much fun as a character to limit her to him romantically in all her fanfictions, it is an interesting narrative to explore while we don't have exact answers but he gets romantic ships with anyone. She deserves more.

I don’t know what marketing this person got but I didn’t get any queer ones. You can think in your head “this character feels queer to me” and have it be valid, but you can’t push that narrative onto the movie and claim it to be true just to have any criticism on the movie. Kate McKinnons “weird Barbie” WAS the butt of some jokes, yes, but so were a lot of characters. Her character played a very pivotal role in the story overall and in Barbieland itself. Just because McKinnon herself is an out lesbian, does not and will not mean that all her characters are as well. But again, is 100% totally fine to HC that they are. Allan is Micheal Cera, he’s funny and awkward, he isn’t ken or Barbie and sometimes that is in fact the joke. He’s just kind of a comedic relief character who was never marketed as anything more. To write this movie off because it didn’t meet the claims it never even made is close minded and feels like you just want a reason to not like movie but you can’t actually find any valid reasons not to. I’m not saying you HAVE to enjoy this film, but at least find valid reasons if you’re going to be loud and criticize it publicly

Marlon: Marlon smiled as he wandered up to Y/N. They had finished their chores early and was perched in their favorite spot - the tire swing - and were flipping through a book in their lap. “Find something good?” Y/N smirked and turned to him, feet swinging absentmindedly. “Definitely. Wanna see?” Marlon propped an arm up on the top of the swing, leaning in, spotting the pictures scattering every page. “Woah, what is this?” “My baby pictures. My parents must have left it here with me. But, you know how the headmaster was with personal effects.” Marlon rolled his eyes and sighed. “Yes, I do.” He smiled, brushing his finger across their young face in one of the pictures. “What were you doing here?” It was an image of Y/N in the living room, a collection of toys scattered around her. “I was hosting a tea party for my stuffed animals and my Barbies. It was very posh.” Marlon laughed. “I can tell you the dress code.” Y/N groaned and placed a hand over their eyes. Their clashing outfit was definitely not it. The two chuckled and sat, flipping through photos, Marlon teasing Y/N for their terrible fashion choices for the next few hours to come.

Louis: Louis couldn’t help it, but his first reaction was to laugh. He slipped the picture out of Y/N’s hands and stared at it in awe. Y/N was sat in a bathtub, bubbles on the top of their head, in their hands, and all over their body. They were grinning, only a few teeth visible. “Hey!” Y/N called, trying to snatch it back, but Louis lifted his arm up high and craned his neck to continue looking at it. “Wow. Guess you’ve always been adorable, huh?” “Stop it!” Y/N said through chuckles, jumping and attempting to snag it. They were giggling with red cheeks, flustered and embarrassed at Louis being able to see it. Louis just grinned ear to ear. Maybe he could convince Y/N to let him keep it. It was too precious.

Violet: Violet jumped in front of Y/N who was just leaving their watch shift. Y/N raised a brow her way. “What?” They sounded hesitant but Violet simply chuckled. “I found something for you.”  Before Y/N had a chance to ask any questions, she pulled the photo album out from behind her back; Y/N’s name was beautifully embroidered on the front with rainbow strings. Y/N’s eyes widened and she dropped her bow, accepting the book into her hands. “Oh my God,” they hushed. Y/N couldn’t believe they had it. That it was here. That it was still here. Y/N looked up and ginned. “Come, we need to look through it together.” There, until it grew dark, the two sat on the front steps of the school flipping through Y/N’s captured childhood memories. “Oh my God, what are you doing?” Violet asked, pointing to an image. Y/N’s face was smeared with chocolate cake, sitting in their high-chair, confused as they stared into the camera. “It was my Dad’s birthday.” Y/N responded with a grin, and the two burst into a sweet laughing fit.

Mitch: Mitch smirked as he wandered into the music room, catching Y/N curled over a book. “What are you reading?” He asked, startling Y/N. They jumped, slapping the book closed. That’s when Mitch saw it: the embroidered words “Y/N’s photos” sewn into the fabric cover. Mitch paused, then smiled tenderly, no longer a teasing grin. “Where did you find that?” Y/N hesitated for a moment. “In one of the storage rooms. My parents must have left it here for me when they dropped me off.” Y/N turned their attention back to the book. That felt like a lifetime ago. Mitch sat down beside them, popping open the cover. “Uh-” Before Y/MN could fight it, it was too late. Mitch was swimming  the pages, smiling and chuckling to himself. “Look at you,” he said softly, brushing his fingers over a picture of Y/N in the front yard, attempting to shovel snow with a shovel three times their size. “How adorable.” He said it under his breath unintentionally, but Y/N turned to him, cheeks rosy and heart full.

Aasim: Aasim wandered up beside Y/N, sitting down beside them at the bench and peering over their shoulder. Y/N jumped, originally going to smack the book closed, but stopped when she realised who it was. “Oh,” they sighed. Aasim gave a tender grin their way, assuring them nothing was wrong. “What are you looking at?” “My childhood pictures.” Y/N said, sliding the book between the two of them. One by one, Y/N started going over the stories behind each photo. “This was my Mom’s 40th birthday party. And this was when I had to get my appendix taken out and I was messed up on drugs.” Y/N chuckled to themselves. “My Dad thought it was too funny to not take a picture. He told me down the line that it’s ‘a memory I won’t remember, but now that I can’t forget’.” Y/N giggled. Aasim loved seeing them so happy and full of life. It was as if their childhood was gradually returning to them, one image at a time.

Ruby: Ruby smiled as Y/N approached the bench from the front school doors, beaming from ear to ear. “What happened?” Ruby asked, sliding her book to the side and patting the open bench spot next to her. “You won’t believe what I found in storage.” Y/N set the book down and Ruby’s eyes widened. “No way.” “Way!” Y/N beamed. “I can’t believe my parents left this here.” Y/N eagerly sat down, and opened to the first few pages, grinning and tracing their fingers over the images, as if trying to soak up each memory. “Oh my god you were so cute.” Ruby said, her cheeks warm. They were so precious. So adorable. It reminded Ruby of a simpler time. Of a time of innocence. A time before the world ended.

Omar: Omar smiled as he wandered up to Y/N. They were mesmerized by something on the table. A book of some kind. “Hey,” he said, sliding up beside them. Y/.N turned and grinned, sliding the large book between the two of them. “Check it out. These are my baby pictures,” they chuckled as they flipped the page. The next two pages were a slew of photos of Y/N in the kitchen, attempting to bake with their mother. The photos got progressively messier, flour scattering every inch of Y/N and the kitchen. Omar smiled, holding the pages to keep Y/N from turning just yet. “This is so cute. You were practically a professional chef.” Y/N chuckled. “I look it, don’t I?” They spent the rest of their afternoon flipping through memories, chuckling and sharing backstories.

Brody: Brody peeked over Y/N’s shoulder, watching them flip through an old photo album that had been hiding in one of the back storerooms. She grinned, touching Y/N’s shoulder gently. “Hey, what’s this one?” She said, hoping to get Y/N to stop madly flipping past the ‘embarrassing pages’. Brody’s finger landed on a picture of them in their backyard, sitting on the ground, sticking their whole head into a bucket in their small, plastic sandbox. “Why are you rushing past these? They’re adorable.” “They’re embarrassing.” Y/N said with a weak chuckle. “I look so silly,” “You’re a kid,” Brody contested with a chuckle. Her cheeks were pink from being allowed to see such precious moments from Y/N’s life. “That’s the best time to be silly.” They locked eyes and smiled, the sudden embarrassment Y/N felt, washing away.

Hope it's okay for me to send in an idea for Tomoko, Skeptic's daughter, but imagine a what-if scenario where Tomoko - fascinated with her dads luscious hair - wants to brush it. Skeptic figures since it's only brushing, why not? However as he gets more focused on his work/phone he doesn't notice how Tomoko has somehow acquired a pair of scissors, not until he hears that dreaded *snip* and the weight of his hair lifting

"Don't even say it." He mumbles out as he keeps his eyes on his phone screen and sips his coffee again. You gasp and place a hand over your chest. "How do you even know what I'm going to say? I could literally say anything!" He looks up at you with a bored expression and rolls his eyes. "I already know what you're going to say Y/N. You'll say something like 'Oh Tomo, please watch Tomoko today while I run some errands. It's so very important and it's your turn to do it anyway. Pretty please' just like that." You laugh at his terrible impersonation of your voice. "Ugh c'mon forreal though! Pleeeease?"

It's not like you two didn't love your baby to death! It's just that she was 4 years old now and ALWAYS busy with the world around her. It was a bit difficult to focus on the task at hand when it involved taking your eyes off her for a minute. About 15 seconds was all it took for her to get into something.

"Next you'll bribe me with something scandalous thinking it'll work like usual but you're in for a surprise this time. It's not working I can guarantee it. I've got an important project to focus on today and it involves running code and setting up a huge new program test for Feel Good. I've got to focus on everything on screen. One mistake can cause me to have to backtrack really far and I don't-" You interrupt him and lean to whisper in his ear, then smirk at the way his cheeks turn instantly red. He clears his throat and looks away for a moment.

"Fine, but you better carry through on your end of the deal tonight. Just like I want it by the way, or else." You nod with a smile and peck his cheek before prepping to head out the door. In the meantime, he's gotten up and prepared Tomoko for a new day. She's had her little morning wash, brush, and breakfast along with cartoons. She seated in her favorite spot on the office carpet with crayons and coloring books scattered about. Her barbies are splayed out on the floor along with some other ignored toys while she's moved on to watching silly videos on her little purple tablet. Tomoyasu is deep in his work by now completely forgetting he has a family in the moment. His eyes quickly scan the multiple numbers and letters on the screen as his fingers furious type away uninterrupted. Maybe this is about the time he doesn't notice his child has stumbled upon a barbie makeover video on the tablet.

She likes makeup...she likes fashion...she likes haircuts.

She really liked the way they cut the hair and curled it on the barbie specifically on her screen right now. She rewound it and paused it several times to get a good view on how the style was done. She'd snuck away to grab a pair of grown up scissors and returned to the office with determination riddled on her tiny little face. She was going to recreate this haircut perfectly (as a 4 year old could), but she didn't want to practice on her barbies on the floor...nooooo. She needed a big head of hair to match the big ol' grown up scissors in her hands.

Daddy has long hair doesn't he...

It's very unfortunate for Tomoyasu that he doesn't notice a single silent snip or light tug at his hair over the sound of the keyboard and his mind running a thousand miles an hour right now. In fact, he doesn't notice anything until he suddenly feels the cool wind on the back of his neck. When he stops typing and taps back into the world around him is when he notices the sound of the scissors snip and the weight of his hair lifted. His mouth falls open in horror when he suddenly reached behind him and feels the back of his head. Suddenly a pair of tiny feet stumbles off a step stool and takes off running down the hallway, just now realizing the gravity of the situation.

He remains silent, familiar veins bulging out beneath his eyes. Old friends he hasn't seen in a while since he'd been learning to try and control his anger. He takes a look at himself in the bathroom mirror and nearly goes as white as a ghost...
