It's funny I remember getting into lu and not caring all that much about Wind-- like he was fine, or whatever, but I didn't see the appeal probably because everything I saw him in aside from the actual comic had him cussing every five seconds but at some point he started to grow on me. I guess it was around when I started writing Castletown, and now he's... honestly one of my favorite Links. He's spunky! He's fun! He's smart and mature and often doesn't get given enough credit but he's also still a kid!! He loves his sister and grandma and killed a man and is a pirate (a nice one) and he's just. skrunkly little guy. love him.

Postcanon. Mithrun passes away before his brother, but still lives a really long life considering the enormous physical and mental strain his body endured in his younger days. Mithrun left his restaurant to his brother in his will (his brother was paying for significant portion of operating costs the whole time) , and since his brother’s kids are now grown, his brother has passed on his title to them prematurely and decided to retire to live in Melini with his partner. Unfortunately for the new Executive Chef at the restaurant, since Mithrun’s brother doesn’t speak the common tongue, he’s started just going around speaking in Elvish to people all over Melini, expecting them to understand 😭

One of my favorite things that happened during my last mage Hawke playthrough was during the final battle against Meredith. Everything's going well. We're kicking her ass, she's got just this much health left, we're so close... but then everyone gets stunned dizzy.

Hawke is stumbling around all confused, seeing stars. The rest of his companions are stunned. I'm annoyed because I just want to end this fight. Don't know how or who did it, probably Meredith, but the situation's dire.

Meredith's standing by herself at the center of the Gallows, shouting nonsense and smugly believing the Maker's going to come down and make her his new bride after she murdered a bunch of innocent people.

Truly, this is the part of the story where Varric says they all thought hope was lost, that in the end, Meredith would pull a fast one on us and claim victory...

Until the REAL hero of dragon age 2 comes storming at her. I don't know why Carver was the only one to not be affected, but he literally jumped out of no where and just started bashing Meredith with his sword while everyone else was too dizzy to do anything until she was dead and the cutscene played.

"Hawke defeated Meredith-" LIES, VARRIC. I know the truth! I was there! Hawke didn't do shit! Carver Hawke was the main character all along! He got shit done and Varric gave Hawke all the credit!

I bring this up because last night I finished my warrior Hawke run and when we got to the fight with Meredith, I kind of hoped the same thing would happen where Bethany dashed in all heroic and got the killing blow on Meredith.

She did not.

She got squished by a statue.

But it's fine, Bethany Hawke was the true main character in my heart.

I don't really have a lot. I'm just surprised no one has jumped down my throat for saying I think Niko is a ethnic-Serb from Bosnia.

Generically I think Roman and Niko's brother are about the same age, maybe the brother being maybe a few months older. Niko makes a comment in one of the missions how he had wanted to be an astronaut and as a former space kid, I know he was as obnoxious about it as I was.

Bet you he was the sort of kid to get his grubby little hands on whatever book he could about the stars. Probably use to take cardboard boxes and make astronaut helmets out of them. Maybe a makeshift spaceship with bed sheets and chairs. Then it passes when suddenly his country is at war and he stops being a kid.

Though I think Niko would somehow feel personally offended when Pluto gets demoted from it's planet status. It's been years since he's cared, but at the same time what the fuck.

My main gripe is that his least favorite character in the whole series is Tanjirou because he thinks Tanjirou is weak like,,,, my dude!! The entire point of Tanjirou is that he doesn’t have the natural born talent that Zenitsu and Inosuke have so he has to work hard to achieve a lot and yeah maybe they slightly lose sight of that in giving him the sun breathing ability but to begin with that’s more of a preserved legacy than something that he’s born with

Anyways he’s also a massive simp for Giyu and surprisingly?? I’m fine with that, giyu is not the worst character to simp for in demon slayer and it makes for funny ideas in ocs

Having OFA for 18 years and dying at 40 means Shinomori received it when he was 22. Shinomori being 22 years old seems close to how old Bruce actually could've been when he was alive himself.

Shinomori being Bruce's nephew is a cute idea though. I still think they'd be close in age, but Hikage can call Bruce "Uncle" to mess with him

Bruce could've been the babysitter / older cousin / uncle to weirdo Shinomori and he's just so used to babysitting that it automatically translates over to patiently dealing with Kudo and being protective over him (+ anyone in his care)

(Bruce gave OFA away before he went to go fight, so he really was protecting what was put in his care [Yoichi + Kudo] so they didn't disappear with him. Even if it was just a responsibility and basically their last organ that happened to manifest consciousnesses)

Bruce has Kudo. Shinomori has Banjo. Both are shorter, more risk-taking people that lead the way, but need someone level-headed by their side because they might charge in otherwise.

If they're related, that means Bruce probably also ages well too. And it means Bruce also might have a baby face like Shinomori-
