Also just; you and everyone on tumblr hs been so amazing and nice and understanding. I appreciate all of you, my ao3 has been getting a lot of commands about updates and I’m just… I want to update too! I write every day in my head. Im just typically wiped out after but I’ve stabilized enough in PT that we don’t have to do it as often. So i won’t be a turtle rolled on its back when I got home from it as much.

I got a lot sick due to being around a group of traveling, germ collecting niblings a few months ago. Since i hadn’t recovered from Covid (kept getting small illnesses). What followed was me finally getting into a few appointments I’d been waitlisted for months on. So I’ve been doing some hard core physical therapy and some other stuff to try and get my health back up.

@queensaryn aka Saeth’s fibro got fucked up with Covid and they’ve barely managed to leave the house twice a month (even just to sit in the car while I get groceries) but they’re also improving albeit slowly. We have to be careful with their goals and limits. Basically they have to be treated like an overripe peach or a plum blossom, or baby strawberries.

Very delicate.

The rest of the house recovered faster but they still have some long Covid symptoms like us and it’s been hard for everyone. Months past and sometimes one of us will still get taken by surprise when the lingering affects hit us.

But we’re getting better! Sorry if that seemed pessimistic, it’s been exhausting, but I’m definitely finally getting stronger. It does seem like every time I make two steps forward we find something else wrong and I go 1-3 steps back but after three years of fighting I’m getting help for some old injuries and damage.

Just last night I was plotting out a scene in ‘a craft of adoration’ that I can’t wait to actually type out. So thank you again for the encouragement, it makes me want to push through because I really love writing. And it’s a lot more encouraging then some very backhanded compliments and demands for updates on ao3.

Which tbf, they probs don’t know I’m sick and have been struggling but I’m already fighting so hard to get better that it gets discouraging. So thank you for lifting my spirits!

And thank you to everyone else who has sent me and the House well wishes if they happen to see this. My inbox is a little bursting rn with prompts so I tend to get distracted very easily when I try to look through it.

I will say that the Abyss and Nightshade have both been incredibly cuddly since I got sick. Nightshade throws a tantrum if anyone in the House so much as sneezes. He is horrified by the thought of any one getting sick again

i had to put my sweet baby down yesterday...

on thursday morning he was fine, eating and drinking fine. nothing out of the ordinary. thursday night he seems to have trouble breathing, he had discharge around his eyes, and kept making these pained noises I've never heard him make before. he had no appetite and wasnt drinking water. i bought some critical care to try force feeding him but he wasnt accepting it at all and tried to give him a mix of pedialyte + water to get him fluids and he accepted some but not a lot. i thought he maybe had some upper respiratory infection and maybe needed antibiotics, so i started calling some veterinarians in my area.

it was really late at night too so i called around and had such a hard time finding a vet to treat him bc most of the animal hospitals either:

-serviced guinea pigs

-their exotic vet wasnt in that night

-serviced guinea pigs but was closed

i was scared to even go to sleep that night bc his conditioned looked so bad, i didnt think he would even make it to the morning. but he managed to survive the night, so i called around again and was able to find a vet about 40 min away that could take him. we enter the hospital and they immediately take him in and i was in the waiting room. the doc comes out to talk to me to explain what was happening.

he had a stone in his bladder that was blocking his urethra and he couldn't urinate. bladder stones can be very life threatening bc if an animal cant pee, it can develop an infection (sepsis) and even get a heart attack. when she examined him, everytime she palpated his bladder he would be in pain, so they gave him a pain injection. they lead me into a room to explain what his treatment would consist of, and i was fucking shocked.

nearly $5k for his surgery and treatment, i couldn't fucking believe it. the worst part is there really was no plan b on his treatment that wasn't euthanasia. i felt so fucking sick, but i had to think on it more. i thought about maybe calling other animal hospitals but i already had a lot of trouble trying to find anyone to treat him at all, and even if there was a miracle situation where i could afford his treatment, it would not guarantee that he wouldnt fall ill again. on top of the fact that guinea pigs are really fragile creatures and dont have very long life spans. the procedure is incredibly invasive and could put so much stress on his little body. i didnt want him to be in more pain than he really was.

so i made the tough decision on putting him down, because i didn't want him to suffer any longer. i'm so heartbroken bc although i knew we would part ways one day, i didnt imagine it would be so soon. we spent past 3 years together, i adopted him mid pandemic bc being stuck in a different country from the rest of my family is incredibly isolating. i gave him so much love and spoiled him so much. he ate veggies & hay to his hearts content, would start cui-cuing at the sound of a bag being opened, he got to sleep in the largest and comfiest pet beds. he used to sleep on my nap while i gamed or watched shows. he was very skittish with people, except for me bc he knew i would give him the world. i'm feeling so defeated rn. i stayed with him til the very last moment, he was very sedated but soo cuddly in the last hour. the only thing to bring me peace of mind is knowing he was relaxed and in no pain in his final moments.

he doesn't know the amount of people that love him around the world, even as far as Australia. he had an impact on many people. all my irls and my online friends absolutely adored him. even my mom, who is deathly afraid of rodents, thought he was so cute and precious bc of how fluffy he is. his departure left a huge hole in my heart. when i got back home, i bursted into tears looking at his empty enclosure. im so used to him jumping around and getting quirked up when he hears me enter my room. i just cant believe i'll never get to see him, or hold him, or even feed him again.

Rest in Peace, my beloved Taro.

I love you so dearly, you may very little but you had a very huge heart.. and appetite. You will always be missed and I hope you are enjoying large quantities of lettuce in cui cui heaven.

okay omg i saw this panel from the manga on instagram once of yuuji being asked who he’d date from his class or something, and he pointed out this chubby girl and he was talking about her personality and how cool she is and i genuinely believe that really is yuuji’s perception towards his s/o

like yeah he says he wants to date a girl that looks like jennifer lawrence but when it really goes down to it, yuuji does not care what his s/o looks like

During your time at Kimetsu Academy, you had the pleasure of meeting the owners of a nearby bakery, the Kamado family. You shared classes with the eldest son, Tanjiro Kamado. You became good friends with the boy, and eventually you met his younger sister, Nezuko Kamado. You adored his sister and the two of you instantly became close friends, because of her kind and caring nature.

Since Tanjiro was your classmate, you usually sat beside him. Each chance that he would get, his attention would be focused on you, chatting and asking about your day with an obvious flush in his face. Honestly, you thought it was kind of cute, seeing him all flustered up all around you. You sort of got a crush on him, not that he knew about it.

You would hang out with Nezuko in-between school breaks, eating Lunch with her as the two of you would have girl talks. She would always keep you company, and if ever you needed someone to lean on, you bet that she would always be there to support you.

You could say that you were more than shocked when you discovered that they had four more younger siblings. You didn't have the honor of meeting them properly, because of your busy schedule and just the overwhelming amount of academic pressure on your shoulders that hindered you from visiting their bakery. However, judging by the wonderful stories that Tanjiro would tell you in the middle of school breaks, they seemed like absolute sweethearts, and you were looking forward to meeting them.

However, you would later have the chance to meet them. It was a peculiar day, and the teachers weren't as harsh on you all like they would normally. Not only that, you craved for something sweet and warm. You just wanted to just bask in positive vibes, and you knew exactly where you wanted to go.

Your legs stopped in front of a small shop, and almost immediately, a wave of gentleness hits your body with so much comfort. You entered the bakery, a bell ringing as you begin to salivate at the sight of the delicious treats displayed on the counter. Nezuko takes notice of your presence, and turns around to welcome you with a big smile on her face.

When you finally picked out the goodies you desired from the shelf, you made your way to the cashier to pay for them. As you got near, you heard little strange noises coming from below the cash register. Confusion began to grow as you recognized the strange noises sounded like the sound effects from a popular mobile game. You became even more perplexed as Nezuko's expression hardened, and she instantly marched behind the cashier in slight annoyance.

A loud squeal of surprise erupted as the sound effects abruptly stopped. Then, suddenly, a young boy emerges from the cashier, a sheepish look evident in his face as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. The moment he notices your figure just standing awkwardly behind the cash register, he immediately turns red and mutters incoherent apologies as he would repeatedly bow profusely. You just give him a reassuring smile, and you said something about also liking the game he was playing.

You learned that this boy is Takeo, one of Tanjiro's younger siblings. As he continued to check out your treats, he couldn't help but find you so familiar.

After you paid for your orders, you introduced yourself to him, and his suspicions were confirmed. He couldn't help a mischievous smirk form on his lips, as he vividly recalls all the moments his brother would dreamily talk about a girl named [ Y / N ].

You asked him to play one round of the mobile game he played before with you. After seeing how the bakery was not really busy and getting Nezuko's approval, he accepted your offer. You bonded with him over the game, and the two of you had so much fun! You were pretty sure that you played more than one round with the young Kamado!

You were absolutely great at the game, much more so than him! You beat his high score, and he wouldn't admit it, but he swears he will beat your score one day. He could not wait to totally tease his brother about this.

Later on, you meet Hanako, Shigeru and the youngest, Rokuta. You were absolutely delighted to finally meet them. They were exactly how Tanjiro described them, they were all such big sweethearts!

Hanako and Shigeru almost immediately took a liking on you! They bombarded you with so much questions, asking you about your favorite color, animal, and all the little things you liked. The would listen to your answers eagerly, big smiles never fading from their expressions.

They would absolutely invite you to play a few games with them! They looked absolutely precious and you didn't have the heart to say "no". You played so much games with them during your stay, the most prominent being "Tag" and "Hide 'n Seek".

After they become tired from running around so much, they settled on listening to your jokes and puns. You swear they have the most adorable laughter in the world!

Just seeing them being giggling and laughing so much melted your heart into a puddle of joy. These two were absolutely cute and adorable, and they radiated so much positive energy that just fill your entire being with warmth and love.

They think that you are absolutely beautiful and wonderful, just like how their brother described you to be!

And then, there's little Rokuta. At first, he was a little shy to approach you. His big eyes looked at you with so much curiosity, and when you told him your name, his face immediately transformed into one of recognition.

Oh! So you're the [ Y / N ] my big brother keeps babbling about!

You would dote on him so, so much! You couldn't stop the squeals from escaping your mouth as he would adorably babble and tell you about his day! His big eyes hold so much innocence and purity in them, and your mind went absolutely bonkers about how cute this little Kamado is!

When he deemed he trusted you enough, he would raise his little arms up, and his tiny hands would make some grabbing motions. Nezuko would chuckle at his actions and tell you that he wants you to pick him up. You stifled a scream of absolute delight, mustering all willpower not to cry from sheer happiness. A cute and cuddly toddler wanted you to pick him up? Don't mind if I do!

The moment Rokuta is in your arms, he immediately embraces you, his little arms just wrapped around your shoulders. Nezuko cheered you on, commenting about how Rokuta had now grew attached to you. He was nuzzling on your neck, feeling secured in your hold as you silently thanked the gods above for giving you this oppurtunity.

Unbeknownst to you, a pair of Crimson hues stared at you with so much adoration from over the counter.

Tanjiro watched how the whole thing unfold. From your little game matches with Takeo, to your giggling fits with Hanako and Shigeru, and to how you held Rokuta in your arms with so much tenderness. All of this left Tanjiro feeling so much warmth and affection in his chest, and he wanted to cry out from the sheer joy of how much you had gotten along with his siblings.

You were absolutely Wonderful. Exquisite. Magnificent. Beautiful. Stunning. Heavenly.

Just so drop-dead gorgeous.

He's in absolute euphoria.

The boy won't admit it, but he's imagining his future with you. Seeing you being so happy with his little siblings makes him wonder what a family with you would look like. Gosh, how much he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you.

He practically had hearts in his eyes as he kept staring at you like a lovesick puppy, not noticing that Takeo was leaning against the counter with a smug expression on his face.

"Gosh, Nii-san. I knew you had a crush on her, but I didn't know it was this bad."

Tanjiro snaps from his day dream, and he could feel so much blood rush to his face. He was so embarrassed, much more so that Takeo had caught him looking at you all this time! Takeo laughs at his brother's red face, and Tanjiro could only shriek out erratic noises to desperately request Takeo not to get too loud.

You heard a commotion from the counter, and you turned to see a completely red-faced Tanjiro waving his hands vigorously to a guffawing Takeo. You could only giggle at the sight in amusement, and when Tanjiro makes eye contact with you, his face gets even more redder.

In your arms, Rokuta shifts from your neck to look at his big brother. Noticing how the two of you gazed in each other's eyes, he claps his hands in delight and looks up to meet your [ E / C ] orbs.

"Ne, [ Y / N ]-san, will you marry my big brother?"

THE WHOLE BAKERY JUST EXPLODES IN HYSTERICS

Takeo laughs harder than he had before, grabbing at the edges of the counters to prevent himself from falling to the ground from the amount of amusement he was getting from the situation.

Hanako and Shigeru just burst out in full excitement, jumping and smiling at you, asking you repeatedly if you wanted to marry their big brother. They practically pleaded with you, their wide eyes constantly staring at you, in hopes that someday you might officially become their big sister.

Nezuko chokes in shock at her drink. She didn't expect Rokuta to say those words! She immediately goes to your side, and just repeatedly apologizes to you in behalf of Rokuta for putting you in such an awkward position. But, she cannot really lie, she would love for you to become her sister-in-law.

Tanjiro just looked at you in horror and fear. His face had hit the utmost redness it could possibly have attained, and he only wanted to crawl and hide at this very moment. He didn't want his crush on you to be revealed this way! He had special plans for that moment, but it didn't matter anymore, because you now know about his overwhelming feelings for you! Gosh, he felt so humiliated, and it didn't help that you were in such an awkward position just because of his attraction on you!

But then, he was caught off guard by your breathtaking smile. The next words sent Tanjiro's mind into a frenzy, desperately struggling with the urge to faint out of sheer bliss as the bakery exploded again into cheers of celebration.

It seemed like only minutes ago; you two were deep in conversation, your back to his chest, he held you close to him. Laughs were shared, but the words were hushed whispers, despite how much you two had been talking. Any other time, you would’ve failed to keep your voice down, and the two of you would slowly get louder and louder before bursting with chuckles.

Instead, you felt more calm, and he felt quite the same. Soon enough, you’d drifted into sweet slumber while he lied awake, the only thing to continue talking to being his thoughts. He suddenly didn’t feel as calm as before.

His arm strokes up and down your back softly as he attempts to fall into the comforting arms of sleep, but he can’t seem to find it. The way there. It’s all lost to him. So he lies with you, instead, continuing to comfort you even though you’ve been out cold for a few hours by now.

Though sleep escapes him, being with you has made him feel content with the loss. His smile outshines the bags under his eyes, and his heart beats with joy instead of stress. Just maybe...

He brings you closer, nuzzling into your shoulder, inhaling your scent. Although was almost intoxicating, he found it mostly relaxing. Like feeling the wind through his curls as he rode his horse. Both made him feel, to say the most with just one word, peaceful.

It didn't snow that often in the town that Dan Torrance had settled into. Sure, it snowed a bit every winter for the past two years but he had yet to see a full blown snow storm there. He liked the lack of snow, it reminded him of the Overlook and that was a memory he was glad to forget. In fact too sunny summers were welcomed to him. Which was how it was bound to be until he met you.

You did not enjoy the sun. You sweat easily and you had a whole thing about how much you hated feeling like you couldn’t escape the beating down heat. You loved the snow and the rain. He knew this.

You had been dating since January and he had yet to see you in full winter mode. He figured the town might get an inch or maybe an inch and a half but he wasn’t prepared for the blizzard. You had. You told him the week before that there was going to be a blizzard, you could feel it in your bones. He hadn’t thought twice about it and when you knocked on his door at nine in the morning on Saturday he figured you might have some shining in you after all.

His hair was messy and unkept, his bare feet hitting the cold ground as he walked to his door. He hadn’t been awake when you knocked on his door and was still groggy from sleep. He didn’t get a chance to grab a robe but he was wearing his boxers and a shirt. Nothing you hadn’t seen before and he assumed it was you.

He swung the door open. You stood before him, shivering but smiling. You wore a light jacket and beanie with oversized gloves. You shuffled past him and took off your large boots and didn’t speak when you pulled up the blinds. The street below was covered in a layer of white. He rubbed his eyes and looked again. There hadn’t even been snow in the forecast the day before.

“Snow Dan!” You told him. There weren’t any cars below, the snow plowers not having been through yet.

“Did you walk here in that?” You nodded.

“I wanted to be here when you woke up! And just in case the phone lines went down, so I could see you and stuff. You don’t mind do you? I was pretty sure you said you had the day off.” He did have the day off but he was concerned at you walking in the snow. You could handle yourself normally but with those snow pants? Probably not as well.

“I don’t mind at all but you must be freezing. Let’s get that off.” The sleep was beginning to wear away from his face as he helped you out of the jacket. He tossed your wet clothes aside on a discarded surface so you could get warm. Once you were down to your final, still rather wet layer he walked and grabbed you some clothes.

“What if I had something to do today?” you asked with a raised eyebrow. He gave one in return.

“Did you?”

“Mhm I need to kiss my boyfriend. Lots of times,” you told him with a teasing smile. You grabbed his clothes and took off your shirt and pants, trading them in for his nice and warm ones. He sat on the window sill. You had put a comforter there when you came over one time and now it lived there for when the two of you wanted it.

You walked over to his tiny coffee machine and started making some hot cocoa for the two of you, the drink now being unspoken as to who was going to make it. You put more marshmallows. Sometimes you even put faces in it when you were feeling crafty. Today you just made a quick two cups and walked to sit next to him.

He was watching the world below him but moved to look at you.

“What’s going on with the world?” you asked. You loved his legs so they laid on your lap. He took the cup from you and rubbed your knee absentmindedly.

“I don’t know what’s going on with you?” You flushed and his his leg because it was the closest part of him to you. He scooted around so you were facing the same way and he could kiss you easier. His lips trailed up your neck as they finished on your lips. You giggled and tried to act like you were ignoring him, pointing at the street below.

“Look Dan - Dan, look - Danny!” you were giggling uncontrollably and had to place your cup on the ground beside where had just placed his so you didn’t spill it. His laughter bubbled up and warmed your heart in protest to your words.

You grabbed his face and brought it up so you could look him in the eyes. You could practically see the hearts in them and you almost wondered if it was your reflection in the light blue irises. You loved each other so much.

You kissed him on the mouth, which he gladly accepted and had no protests too. You made out for a little while until he had to pull away to speak.

“I love you,” he whispered. You giggled and put your face in the crime of his neck to avoid looking at him. Your heart was about ready to burst from happiness.

“I hope that you don’t think about anything bad about the snow. I just want you to be happy when you see it. Think of something you like ya know?” You looked at him again, forcing yourself to face his gorgeous face. He kissed you once more, lingering on your warm lips.

“If i ever see another snowflake I’ll always think about you. Something I love.” You bit your lip and kissed him again.

“I love you too. More than the snow.” He raised an eyebrow in feign surprise and you dragged a hand through his hair.

“That’s a lot.”

How did they meet?

TBH Probably in the dream bubbles. I have this very specific idea that I probably saw him across the way, and it was very much a slap to the face, heart eyes, weak in the knees kind of feeling. Too chicken to approach, but Meulin probably noticed all the starin’ and made him talk to me.

Who developed romantic feelings first?

Me, me, me a million times me. I had a dorky crush on him for what felt like forever before he even realized I existed haha.

Who is their biggest shipper?

Probably Meulin, I’d imagine! She’s just happy to see Kurloz happy again after what happened! They are still really close friends and I love Meulin to death.

Me! I figure it was actually when we met and he brought up my staring. I probably fessed up my puppy crush, and of course he couldn’t return it at first because we barely knew each other, but we did start talking and became friends, bonding over our love of witchcraft and religion. He probably returned them sometime later, though it was hard on him, as he isn’t very good at articulating his emotions. It was worth it!

I like to imagine we were together in the dream bubble copy of his hive, probably getting high and just talking about whatever came to mind. We both fell asleep around dawn and woke up together. It was a good time.

Well, quadrant-smearing is actually a big part of our relationship. We both tease each other relentlessly, especially if he’s feeling more casual. Any big fights usually spawn from miscommunication; when he gets upset, he clams up, and bottles things up, and it comes to a head later and he lashes out or isolates himself. Pros and cons of being under the Rage aspect. Its much better now, as we practice healthy communication or at least try to.

We are both equally jealous tbh. He is very loyal and protective and sometimes can get a bit possessive, and I can be insecure and lost in my own head. We work it out, however. I don’t mind the possessiveness and he doesn’t mind validating me.

Kurloz can only eat a few things because of his stitches and tongue, and I don’t really like the taste and texture of the nutrition slurries he’s forced to consume so… Pass?

To be honest, he would never admit it, but Kurloz is a cuddly guy. “There is no highblood too entitled to reject the simple pleasures of intimacy”, so he says. I like cuddling in short bursts, but I can get a bit antsy after a while. As far as cuddling positions goes, he likes wrapping his arms around my waist and burying his face in my shoulder or chest. I don’t mind it, as I can pet his hair and use my free hand to scroll through my phone or read. keeps me from getting antsy haha

Oh boy. Probably the first fight they had tbh, when he had let some issues build up so much that something minor was the straw that broke the camel’s back. He just kind of exploded and was spitting mad for a few hours and ignored me for days after, mostly because he felt awful and didn’t want to hurt me anymore than he already had. When I finally forced him to talk to me, it was worked out in a few hours and ended in tears of relief haha. It has improved MAJORLY since.

Mineself. I certainly don’t mind it, i’ve done it all my life after all. He usually has to make his own food however, because of obvious circumstances.

Neither of us are organized but every few weeks I’ll have bursts of productivity that lead me to cleaning up everything ALL AT ONCE. He is a very busy man, and usually knows where everything is. It’s organized chaos.
