“My brave little brother… I see not much has changed.” 🐟
I don’t know what it is with me and Nintendo these days but they have me in a chokehold
My sister and I have been tag teaming Age of Calamity and I live for the cutscenes, literally — this drawing has been stuck in my head for three days
She’s the gamer and right now since it’s been so damn hot we’ve spent a lot of time indoors gaming. She’s been playing Ghostwire: Tokyo (insane game by the way, SO good please check it out) and I’m obsessed with the soundtrack so I drew this to “Until we meet again”
Fitting, right?
Anyway — I love this cast of characters with all my heart and I’m a SUCKER for a good, dramatic family reunion 🥹

pretty in pink | logan howlett
an: this comes straight from my delusional mind
dad!logan (you can choose if you want this to be an old man logan fic!!)
All week your daughter, Ada, had been reminding everyone about her sixth birthday that was coming up. She made sure you and Logan marked it on every calendar in the house. During dinner, all she talked about was her pink princess themed party.
“And the cake has to be pink!” She said for the hundredth time. She sat in her chair at the table completely forgetting she was supposed to be eating her spaghetti.
“We know, Ada. You told us everyday before and after school.” Logan said.
“I told the girls in my class to come too. They said they wouldn’t come because we’re freaks.” Her excitement about the party died down.
Laura, now a teenager, gave her sister an encouraging smile. “They’re the freaks. You’re the coolest girl in school. That means we get to have all the cake.” That earned a laugh from Ada. Logan chuckled, it warmed his heart to see his daughter’s bond.
“Your party is going to be the best, my love,” You stood up and grabbed your and Logan’s plate that were now empty. “Finish up and then get ready for bed, both of you.” You walked to the kitchen sink and began to wash the dishes.
Laura immediately challenged Ada to see who could finish their spaghetti first. After a scolding from their parents, Laura let Ada win. Soon, the sisters raced upstairs to get ready for bed.
As you and Logan finished cleaning, you couldn’t help but think about your little girl. Your sweet innocent little girl didn’t deserve to be called a freak. Your thoughts were interrupted when a car pulled up to your driveway. You weren’t expecting anyone, especially not at this hour.
“Stay here.” Logan said to you after he wiped his hands on a dish rag. He walked out the door ready to confront whoever it was. The car’s headlights were blinding him, but once he heard the familiar voice call his name, he put away his claws.
Inside you were still wondering who it was. Before you could join Logan outside, Ada had run down the stairs already in her princess pajamas.
“Mommy, who’s outside?” She asked you. Her question was answered when Logan walked in with Rogue by his side. Ada screamed in excitement when she saw her other sister. “You’re here! You’re here!” The little girl ran to Rogue and gave her a welcoming hug.
“I wouldn’t want to miss your princess party.” Rogue picked up the girl.
“Are you going to sleep in my room? Dad got some new books for me!”
“Oh you bet we’re going to stay up all night reading those books! I’ll be up in a few, let me talk to mom and dad for a sec,” Rogue set her down. The adults watched as Ada happily skipped up the stairs to her room. “Alright, what’s wrong?” She looked at you and Logan.
“What? Nothing wrong, why are you asking?” Logan asked surprised by her question.
Rogue knew she wasn’t going to get a straight answer from Logan so she looked at you. You sighed and told your daughter the truth. You were nervous about Ada’s party. A few of her classmates did tell her they were attending, but you were convinced they were only coming to make fun of her and ruin her big day.
“Those little shits ain’t going ruin my girl’s party.” Logan added.
“Honey, those little shits are first graders.” You corrected him.
“Little shits or not, Logan’s right. This is Ada’s party and she’s going to have the best damn princess party in the world.” Rogue declared. Before she left, she gave you and Logan a kiss on the cheek then walked up the stairs to Ada’s room.
Logan noticed that you still had a concerned look on your face. “Hey, Ada is going to be okay.”
“I just don’t want my little girl to get hurt.” You said.
“I won’t let anything or anyone hurt any of my girls.” Logan reminded you.
With that, you and Logan finished cleaning and went up to Laura’s room to say goodnight. As you reached Ada’s room, you saw her and Rogue already asleep. You quietly took the book out of Rogue’s hand and put it back on the bookshelf then adjusted the blanket over your daughters. You gave them both a goodnight kiss and left the room.
In the morning, Ada was the first to wake up. She ran to yours and Logan’s room as fast as she could and jumped on to the bed screaming that it was her birthday. Logan groaned since she had landed on his stomach.
“Wake up! It’s my birthday!” She giggled as Logan sat up and brought her into his arms.
“How old are you today? Eighty? Ninety seven?” He watched as Ada’s smile dropped.
“No, that’s you!”
You were trying so hard to hold in your laugh, but failed. Logan playfully rolled his eyes. It was Ada’s day, he wasn’t going to get mad at her on her special day.
“Okay birthday girl, I believe your sisters promised a special birthday breakfast just for you.” Logan told Ada.
The now six year old gasped as soon as she heard ‘special breakfast’. She immediately jumped off the bed and ran downstairs to the kitchen where Laura and Rogue were making breakfast.
Logan sighed deeply and rolled over to his side, his eyes meeting yours. “Remember . . . Everything is going to be okay today.”
You hummed in response.
Eventually you and Logan joined the girls in the kitchen. Laura and Ada were throwing grapes into each others mouth while Rogue laughed at them failing miserably. Ada had thrown a grape so far from Laura that it hit Logan’s head when he walked in.
“Ada! You hit an elderly man!” Rogue teased.
“Kids.” Logan rolled his eyes yet again.
As a family you all sang happy birthday to Ada as Rogue placed a stack of pancakes topped with whipped cream and Ada’s favorite fruits. The little girl’s smile brought joy to her family.
“Wait, let me get the camera!” You ran to the cabinet that had random items inside. You grabbed the camera and snapped a couple of pictures of your girls and Logan.
It was a beautiful start to a beautiful day.
As the day went on, Rogue and Laura helped decorate the backyard with princess themed decorations. Ada was too busy running around in her pink princess dress to help. Logan was inside blowing up balloons until members of the x-men started showing up.
“Is that the big bad wolverine in a plastic tiara?” Scott Summers chuckled at the sight of Logan wearing a tiara that Ada had given him.
“Watch it, I don’t want you bleeding all over my daughter’s party when I—” Before Logan could finish, Ada joined them with more tiaras in hand. She gave one to every member telling them they couldn’t enter her party if they didn’t wear it.
And that’s how Scott Summers ended up with a plastic pink tiara on his head.
Ada was enjoying her party so far. A couple of classmates did end up attending. You saw as they played on the swing set that Logan had bought for Ada for her last birthday.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Logan said as he stood beside you.
“Hey,” you relaxed more when he was close to you. “Did you see the big box Storm brought for Ada? I bet it’s a big doll house.”
“You’re wrong. It’s definitely a large case of beer for me and you to enjoy when our girls are passed out.”
You chuckled. “After this, no more parties until next year.” You placed a kiss on his lips.
“Whatever you say . . .” He got another kiss in before Ada came running to you with a butterfly knife in hand and the biggest smile on her face.
“Mommy! Daddy! Uncle Wade got me a pretty knife!”
“Uncle Wade?!” “What the fuck!” You and Logan yelled at the same time.
“Hey mommy milf dearest! Peanut! Guess my invite got lost in the mail . . . again. I’m starting to think it’s on purpose. Harsh! Whatever, hey kids! Who wants to learn how to use this baby!” He held up his gun.
“Wade, No!”

SUMMARY OF REQUEST: You, a half-blind witch, form a sibling-like bond with Luffy, Ace, and Sabo after a chance meeting in your childhood, sharing joyous moments together. However, when your magic accidentally destroys villagers’ homes, fear and guilt convince you that witches like you don’t belong in society. To protect the boys, you choose to leave them behind. Years later, they reunite with you—no longer the sweet, innocent sister they cherished but a feared “wicked witch,” shaped by the world’s rejection. Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, now fiercely protective of you, refuse to let you go again, regardless of what it takes.
NOTES: Sorry this took so long! I hope I pulled off the platonic Yandere thing well. It’s been a while since I’ve written, haha.

You, a half-blind young witch with a knack for avoiding trouble (or so you tell yourself), are peacefully gathering herbs in the forest near Grey Terminal. You’re humming a little tune under your breath, your wand at the ready as you delicately pluck some rare leaves off a bush. The goal is simple: stay hidden, avoid the villagers who already think you’re the star of some horror story, and keep your magic under wraps.
Easy, right? Wrong.
Because when you least expect it, the whirlwind trio known as Luffy, Sabo, and Ace quite literally crash into your life.
It starts with Luffy, because of course, it does. You’re mid-spell—probably something harmless like mending a torn leaf—when you hear an enthusiastic, “HEY! What are you doing with that stick?!” His voice is so loud it might as well echo across the entire forest.
You whip around in shock, clutching your wand like it’s your lifeline. Luffy’s wide-eyed grin is already locked onto you like he’s just found the coolest treasure in the East Blue. “Wait, is that magic? Can you make me fly?!” he continues, completely ignoring the obvious panic on your face.
Sabo, ever the voice of reason, walks up behind him, his hat tilted slightly as he gives you a calm, reassuring smile. “Luffy, maybe don’t freak her out, okay? Look, you’re scaring her.” Then he turns to you, hands raised like he’s trying to show you he’s not a threat. “Hey, sorry about him. He’s just… loud. Really loud.”
But you can tell even Sabo is curious. His sharp eyes keep flicking toward your wand like he’s trying to figure out how it works. He’s calm, sure, but there’s a twinkle in his eye that says, Tell me your secrets, and I’ll tell you mine.
Then there’s Ace.
While Luffy’s practically bouncing in place and Sabo’s trying to play mediator, Ace hangs back with his arms crossed, leaning against a tree. He’s doing his best to look disinterested, but his glances toward you are far from subtle. He’s clearly curious too, but his pride won’t let him admit it.
Instead, he grumbles under his breath, “It’s just a stick. What’s the big deal?” But then he catches you shrinking back a little, clutching your wand like it’s a shield, and his expression softens just a fraction. He doesn’t say it out loud, but his thoughts are something like, If these idiots scare her off, I’ll bonk their heads.
You, meanwhile, are frozen. These three boys are loud, chaotic, and way too close for comfort. You’re used to being the weird girl that everyone avoids, not someone who suddenly has an audience. You keep your head down, trying to mumble some excuse about just gathering herbs, but Luffy isn’t having it.
“Why are you hiding your face? Are you a witch or something?!” he blurts out, completely ruining your subtle attempt to slip away unnoticed. Sabo smacks him on the head with a look that screams, Seriously? Did you have to say that?
But despite your nervousness, you can’t help but notice that they’re… different. Chaotic, definitely. But still different nonetheless.
Luffy’s unrelenting cheerfulness and total lack of judgment start to chip away at your defenses. He keeps firing off questions: “Can you turn me into a frog? What about Ace? He’d make a funny frog.” He’s impossible to ignore, and before you know it, you find yourself giggling—just a little—at his antics.
Sabo, ever observant, notices your hesitation and starts asking gentler questions, like, “So how’d you learn to use magic?” or “What are you gathering the herbs for?” He’s patient, waiting for you to answer in your own time, and you start to feel like maybe he really wants to understand.
Ace is the last to come around, but when he does, it’s in his own blunt, awkward way. “You don’t need to be scared of us,” he says one day, still leaning against that same tree, watching you quietly. “We’re not like those villagers. And if anyone bothers you, I’ll punch ‘em.” It’s not exactly poetry, but it’s enough to make you feel like maybe you don’t have to hide from them.
Over time, the three of them settle into their roles as your self-appointed guardians. Luffy is the overenthusiastic protector, ready to fight anyone who looks at you funny. “She’s my little sister now!” he declares one day, completely out of the blue.
Sabo, the logical one, tries to reign Luffy in but still makes it his mission to teach you things like self-defense and how to stand up for yourself.
Ace, though still a little gruff, is fiercely protective, always keeping an eye out for trouble—even if it means starting a fight before one even begins.
From the moment you meet the trio, they decide you're their little sister. It’s not a question, not something you get to vote on—it’s just a fact now.
“You’re stuck with us,” Luffy announces proudly one day, grinning from ear to ear. You try to argue, maybe mumble something about being fine on your own, but it’s like talking to a brick wall with too much energy???
The more time you spend with them, the more you realize that, half-blind or not, witch or not, these three couldn’t care less about the things that made you feel like an outcast. Instead, they admire you for it.
Luffy is your personal cheerleader. He’s constantly pestering you to show off your magic, bouncing in excitement every time you do. “Do the thing again! The flower thing! That was so cool!” he demands, eyes sparkling. If you try to argue that it’s not a big deal, he pouts like a child denied dessert.
The second you cave and make something levitate or bloom, he cheers so loudly it startles the birds. “You’re so cool!” he shouts, clapping like you just won the World Cup.
Ace, of course, is Ace. He teases you relentlessly, calling you a “little show-off” whenever Luffy gets his way and you perform some magical trick. But there’s an undertone to his teasing that’s almost… proud.
He’ll smirk and say something like, “Guess you’re not completely useless, huh?” but the next thing you know, he’s nudging you and whispering, “Hey, can you teach me how to do that? But don’t tell Luffy—I don’t need him getting ideas.” He even goes out of his way to help you practice in secret, keeping an eye out for nosy villagers while you experiment with spells.
And then there’s Sabo. Ever the curious intellectual, he bombards you with questions about witchcraft. “So how does it work? Is it instinct or something you have to study? What’s the difference between a potion and a spell?”
He listens intently to every answer, nodding like he’s filing the information away for future use. You suspect he’s secretly trying to find a way to combine your magic with his own cunning plans, but you let it slide. At least someone respects your craft in a way that feels… academic.
The three of them quickly become your fiercest protectors. Any time someone in the village so much as mutters the word “witch” in a tone that isn’t pure reverence, Luffy is already halfway to throwing hands. “What did you say about her?!” he yells, fists up and ready.
Ace isn’t much better—he glares daggers at anyone who dares insult you, his body practically radiating heat like he’s daring them to try something.
Sabo, ever the peacemaker, steps in to smooth things over. But even he isn’t above reminding people to watch their tongues, even if he’s a little kid.
And then there’s Ace’s quiet gestures of care. He has this uncanny ability to position himself exactly where your blind eye is, like he’s made it his personal mission to act as your missing sight.
If you’re sitting and eating together, he’ll subtly take the spot where your blind side faces, keeping watch without making a big deal about it. If you ask him about it, he’ll just shrug and mumble, “What? Someone’s gotta make sure nothing sneaks up on you.” It’s his way of protecting you without drawing too much attention to it—well, that, and he secretly likes knowing you trust him to have your back.
The four of you became a force of nature—barefoot chaos tearing through the forests, climbing trees, and building treehouses that somehow always managed to collapse halfway through construction because, surprise, Luffy would decide mid-project that “we should add a slide!” or “what if we make it taller so it touches the clouds?!”
Despite the structural failures, those rickety treehouses became your safe havens, filled with laughter, scraps of stolen food, and the occasional argument over who got to sit in the “cool corner.” Sneaking into the Grey Terminal became your second favorite activity—after surviving the treehouse disasters, of course. For the first time in your life, you didn’t feel like “the blind witch” or an outsider; you were just you.
The boys never treated your blindness or magic as weaknesses—instead, they were quirks they’d hype up endlessly. Ace would nudge you and go, “C’mon, show me that spell again. You know, the one that made Luffy trip over his own feet for an hour.”
Sabo, ever the strategist, decided to take a more practical approach: “You should learn to fight with a pipe like me,” he said one day, handing you one. “Imagine if you combined magic and combat. You’d be unbeatable!” Of course, this idea got Luffy so hyped that he tried to fight both of you at once. It ended with him tangled in vines after you accidentally cast a spell mid-sparring session.
And Luffy? Oh, Luffy was a one-man cheer squad who took his role very seriously. He’d bounce around like a rubber ball, practically yelling, “Do something cool! Do something cool!” every time you so much as looked at your wand. If you didn’t comply fast enough, he’d lean in way too close with a giant grin and plead, “Pleeeeeeease?” until you caved.
On one memorable occasion, you enchanted a stick to bop him on the head every time he spoke. Instead of being mad, he laughed so hard he cried, running in circles and yelling, “IT’S ALIVE! THIS IS AWESOME!” Sabo and Ace had to physically hold him down to stop him from naming it and keeping it as a pet.
Ace, ever the “cool big brother,” tried to play it off like he wasn’t as impressed by your magic. “Yeah, it’s okay, I guess,” he’d say with a smirk before sneaking over later to ask if you could enchant his pipe or teach him a spell.
Despite his teasing, he was the most protective of your abilities. If anyone so much as looked at you funny for being a witch, Ace would give them the most nastiest glare a child could give. And if they dared to say something out loud? Oh, boy. Let’s just say the villagers learned quickly to keep their opinions to themselves when Ace was around. He’s got a mean mouth too.
Despite the chaos and the bickering, the boys loved your optimistic view of the world. You’d sit together under the stars, your eyes shining with hope as you said things like, “Maybe one day, they’ll see witches aren’t all bad.”
Luffy would nod so earnestly it made you smile. “Yeah! And if they don’t, I’ll just punch ‘em until they do!” he’d declare with his trademark confidence. Sabo would chuckle, resting his chin in his hand. “Or we could change their minds without violence. That tends to work better,” he’d add, though his smile always carried a hint of mischief. And Ace? He’d ruffle your hair in that big-brother way of his and say, “Don’t worry about them. We’ve got your back, and that’s all you’ll ever need.”
No matter how bleak things looked, they made sure you never lost that spark of hope. “We’ll make the world better for you,” Sabo promised one night, his voice soft but sure. “For all of us.” Ace nodded, his expression unusually serious. “And anyone who tries to hurt you? They’ll have to deal with us first.” Luffy, of course, chimed in last, his voice full of unshakable determination. “You’re never gonna be alone again! We’re your big brothers now, and that means forever!”
For the first time in forever, you believed it.
One fateful day, your world turned upside down in a way none of you could have foreseen. You were playing near the edge of the village with your three chaos-bringers-turned-big-brothers, attempting a new spell you’d seen in an old grimoire.
It was meant to be harmless—a little flick of your wand, a few whispered words, and voilà! A flower blooming out of season. Easy, right? Wrong. Maybe it was the pressure of your brothers cheering (read: screaming) in the background, or maybe it was the rock a villager hurled at you while yelling, "Get out of here, witch!" Either way, your concentration shattered, and the spell spun wildly out of control.
The explosion that followed wasn’t huge, but it was big enough to leave a crater in the ground and send a nearby chicken coop flying into the air like some bizarre farm-themed firework display. Several homes suffered damage too, their walls splintering from the force, and villagers scrambled in terror. It was chaos—absolute chaos—and in the middle of it all, you stood frozen, your wand trembling in your hand, horrified at what had just happened.
“I—I didn’t mean to," you stammered, tears streaming down your cheeks as you turned toward the villagers. “I’m sorry! I swear, I didn’t mean to!” But they weren’t listening. To them, this wasn’t an accident. It was proof—proof that the strange little witch-child was dangerous and couldn’t be trusted. Their fear quickly turned to anger, and soon a mob was forming, voices shouting things like, “She’s a menace!” and “She’ll destroy the whole village if we let her stay!”
Luffy’s response was as immediate as it was predictable: rage. “HEY, SHUT UP!” he yelled, stomping toward the crowd with all the righteous fury a child could muster. “It’s not her fault! She didn’t do anything wrong!” He planted himself firmly between you and the mob, his small fists clenched at his sides, his face red with anger. “You’re all just a bunch of jerks!” he added for good measure, as if that would settle the matter.
Sabo, the ever-calm strategist, tried a different approach. “Please, listen,” he said, stepping forward with his hands raised in a gesture of peace. “It was an accident, okay? She didn’t mean to hurt anyone.” His voice was steady, reasonable, the kind of voice that made people want to stop and think. Unfortunately, reason didn’t stand much of a chance against an angry mob.
Ace, however, wasn’t interested in reasoning. While Sabo tried to talk sense into the villagers and Luffy yelled at anyone who dared to interrupt, Ace grabbed a stick from the ground, his eyes blazing with determination. “If any of you so much as look at her wrong, you’ll have to go through me first,” he growled, positioning himself directly in front of you. Despite his small stature, he looked every bit the future fire-wielding pirate he’d one day become.
The three of them stood their ground like a tiny, scrappy army of misfits. Luffy stomped his foot and shouted threats at anyone who dared to step closer. Sabo spoke with a diplomat’s calm, though his clenched fists betrayed his growing frustration. And Ace? Ace was ready to fight. If anyone so much as twitched in your direction, that stick in his hand was going to meet its mark.
Despite being just kids, they were unyielding, their loyalty to you outweighing any fear they might have felt. Luffy’s voice cracked as he shouted, “You’re not taking her! She’s our sister, and we’re gonna protect her no matter what!” Sabo, still trying to be the reasonable one, added, “If you force her to leave, you’re making a mistake. She’s not dangerous—she’s kind!” Ace, of course, kept it blunt: “If you lay a finger on her, I’ll beat you into next week.”
Despite everything the boys had done to defend you, the guilt gnawed away at you like a parasite. The villagers’ words echoed in your mind, cruel and unrelenting: “You don’t belong here. You’re a danger to everyone around you.”
No matter how much Luffy’s loud assurances, Sabo’s calm reasoning, or Ace’s fierce protection tried to drown out those accusations, they clung to you like a curse. You believed it all, convinced that you were the problem. Worse, you feared that by staying, you’d drag the boys into even more trouble.
The thought of them getting hurt because of you—it was unbearable. You imagined Luffy throwing himself into yet another fight on your behalf, Sabo pleading with people who wouldn’t listen, and Ace taking on an entire mob with nothing but his fists and his righteous fury.
Late that night, when the forest was dark and the only sounds were the rustling leaves and distant chirps of crickets, you slipped away. The moonlight guided your trembling hands as you scribbled out a tear-soaked letter. You kept it short but heartfelt, explaining your reasons:
“I can’t stay. I’m too dangerous. I love you three so much, but I can’t keep putting you in harm’s way. I need to find somewhere I can belong, somewhere I won’t hurt anyone. Please don’t come looking for me. I’m so sorry. Please take care of each other.”
You folded the letter carefully, as though it were the last piece of you you could leave behind, and placed it where you knew they’d find it. Then, clutching your wand and what little you could carry, you walked into the shadows of the forest. With every step, your chest ached as if someone had taken your heart and squeezed it until it couldn’t bear the pain anymore.
Morning came, and chaos erupted the moment they realized you were gone. Luffy was the first to notice, and his reaction was classic Luffy—pure, unrestrained emotion.
He bolted out of the treehouse, running in frantic circles as he yelled your name at the top of his lungs. When his search turned up nothing, the tears started, big, fat droplets streaming down his face as he wailed, “SHE LEFT US! SHE LEFT ME!”
Sabo tried to be the calm one, but even he was visibly shaken, clutching your letter in his hands so tightly it crumpled. His voice cracked as he read your words aloud to Ace and Luffy, his composure slipping with every sentence. “She… she thinks she’s dangerous,” he muttered, his usually steady voice trembling. “She thinks she’s protecting us by leaving.” His hands balled into fists, and for the first time, you saw a flicker of anger behind his calm demeanor. “I should’ve seen this coming. I should’ve stopped her.”
Ace, on the other hand, was a storm brewing on the horizon. He stood there silently for a long moment after hearing your letter, his expression unreadable. Then, without warning, he grabbed a stick and smashed it against the nearest tree. “This is all their fault!” he snarled, referring to the villagers who had driven you to this point. His hands shook with barely-contained rage as he glared at the horizon, as if daring the universe to throw another obstacle in his way. “They did this. Not her. And now she’s gone because of them!”
But even in his anger, Ace’s determination shone through. He turned to Sabo and Luffy, his voice steady but fierce. “We’re going to find her. One day, no matter how far she goes, we’re bringing her back.”
“Yeah!” Luffy sobbed, his fists clenched tightly. “We’re not gonna let her go forever! She’s our sister!” His face was red and blotchy, tears still spilling as he stomped his foot for emphasis. “We’ll get her back, and then I’m gonna make her promise to stay forever!”
Sabo nodded, his usual composed demeanor replaced with quiet resolve. “She belongs with us. And we’ll make sure she knows that, no matter how long it takes.”
From that day forward, it became an unspoken vow between the three of them. They didn’t know when or how, but they would find you again. Ace reminded them of it constantly, his fiery determination keeping their spirits high. Luffy, as always, wore his heart on his sleeve, loudly declaring to anyone who would listen that he had a sister and he was going to find her someday. And Sabo, ever the planner, quietly began preparing, mapping out potential paths you might have taken and thinking of how they’d convince you to return.
You may have walked away that night thinking you were doing what was best for them, but little did you know, those three boys had made you a promise—a promise that no distance, no obstacle, and no force in the world could ever break.
After leaving your childhood behind, you wandered aimlessly through endless forests, dark swamps, and towering mountains, each step taking you farther from the trio who once made you feel like you mattered. Surviving alone as a child wasn’t just hard—it was soul-crushing.
Nights were the worst. The silence was so loud it drowned out your thoughts, leaving you alone with memories of Luffy’s laughter, Ace’s teasing smirk, and Sabo’s reassuring words. Those memories had once been a source of comfort, a little spark of warmth to get you through the cold. But as the years went on, they became a cruel reminder of what you lost.
At first, you clung to their love like a lifeline, hoping it could fill the hole in your heart. But reality was unforgiving. You met villagers who screamed at the sight of you, merchants who refused to sell you food, and travelers who spat cruel words at the mention of witches. No matter how small your magic or kind your intentions, people feared you. And fear always turned to hatred.
Slowly, their hatred began to drown out the lingering love you once felt from Sabo, Ace, and Luffy. Every cruel word, every stone thrown, chipped away at the sweet, optimistic child you had been. You started believing what the world seemed so desperate to prove: that you were unworthy of love, unworthy of kindness, and destined to walk alone.
Eventually, you gave up trying to prove yourself.
If the world wanted you to be a monster, then fine—you’d be a monster. You threw yourself into your magic, pushing its limits until it felt like the only thing that couldn’t hurt you. Spells that once brought you joy—like making flowers bloom or levitating tiny objects—were replaced with defensive barriers, fire conjurations, and illusions so terrifying they could make the bravest soul flee. You weren’t practicing to entertain anyone anymore. You were practicing to survive.
With every spell you perfected, a little more of your warmth faded away. By the time you reached adulthood, the hopeful dreams of your childhood had been buried beneath layers of bitterness and fear. Helping others was no longer your goal—protecting yourself was. If people feared you, at least they wouldn’t come close enough to hurt you.
Your appearance changed with your growing power and isolation. Gone were cheerful smiles of your youth. Instead, you donned long, flowing robes of dark green and black, their edges frayed from years of wandering. Your blind eye, once a source of insecurity, now became a symbol of your transformation. It faintly glowed when you used your magic, an eerie light that only added to your intimidating presence. Your gaze, once soft and full of curiosity, had hardened into something cold and unyielding.
Stories of the "wicked witch" began spreading like wildfire. They whispered of a woman who lived deep in the mountains, wielding magic so powerful it could summon storms or make crops wither. Some said you cursed anyone who dared enter your domain. Others claimed you were the reason children went missing or villages mysteriously disappeared. Of course, none of it was true—well, most of it wasn’t true. But you didn’t care to correct the rumors. If they kept people away, all the better.
You told yourself this isolation was for the best. The farther people stayed from you, the safer they’d be. And maybe you believed that, at least at first. But there were nights—rare, fleeting nights—when the old memories crept back in.
You’d find yourself staring at the stars, thinking of how Luffy used to point out constellations with his tiny, sticky hands. Or you’d hear the crackle of a fire and remember Ace’s mischievous grin as he dared you to roast marshmallows with magic. Or maybe you’d see your reflection in a still pond and hear Sabo’s gentle voice saying, “You’re not dangerous. You’re just you.”
Those memories hurt more than any stone or insult ever could. Because deep down, you knew the truth. You weren’t the monster the world painted you to be. But it was easier to live as the wicked witch than to let anyone close enough to hurt you again. So you embraced the role, burying your longing for love and acceptance beneath layers of bitterness and pride.
The years didn’t dim their determination. From the moment you vanished, Luffy, Sabo, and Ace vowed to find you, no matter how long it took. You were their sibling, the missing piece of their chaotic trio-turned-quartet, and the idea of leaving you out there alone—especially in a world that didn’t understand or accept you—was unthinkable.
Sure, life moved on, and they had their own battles to fight, but every step they took, every new place they explored, carried the same question: Could you be here?
When they finally found you, it wasn’t a tearful, joyous reunion like they had imagined countless times. No, the figure standing before them—dark robes, piercing gaze, blind eye faintly glowing in the dim light—was a far cry from the sweet, hopeful sibling they had grown up with. The “wicked witch” they had heard whispered about in fear and awe was unmistakably you, but the change was so drastic, it made their chests ache.
Naturally, Luffy was the first to act, because of course he was. Despite the eerie vibe you gave off, despite the cold, unreadable look in your eyes, he threw caution to the wind. “IT’S YOU!!!” he yelled, his voice ringing through the air like a cannon blast. Before you could even blink, he launched himself at you like a human missile, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist. His grin was as bright as ever, but it faltered when you didn’t react, your arms hanging limp at your sides.
“Get off me,” you said flatly, your voice sharp enough to cut through the moment.
Luffy blinked, his smile faltering. “Huh? But—it’s me! It’s Luffy! Remember?” His arms stayed locked around you, though, like if he let go, you might disappear again.
Sabo approached next, his heart twisting at the sight of you. He could tell from the way you stood, your guarded posture and the steely edge in your voice, that life had hardened you in ways he and the others couldn’t begin to imagine. Still, he wasn’t ready to give up. “It’s been a long time,” he said softly, his tone carefully measured. “We’ve been looking for you all these years. You’re—well, you’re different, but you’re still you, right? You’re still our little sibling.”
“No,” you snapped, your voice colder than the frost in the mountains you now called home. “Stop calling me that.”
That’s when Ace stepped forward, his jaw tight and his fists clenched at his sides. “Why?” he demanded, his voice filled with the frustration and heartbreak he had bottled up for years. “Why did you leave us? We know what the letter said, but that’s not good enough. I want to hear it from you. The real reason.”
Your gaze flickered to him, a flash of emotion—guilt, maybe, or regret—briefly breaking through your hardened exterior before you quickly masked it. “I left because I had to. Because people like me don’t get to have happy endings. I would’ve just dragged you down. Don’t you get it? You were better off without me.”
Luffy, of course, shook his head so furiously it was a wonder it didn’t fall off. “That’s not true! You’re wrong! We’re better with you! You’re our family, and family doesn’t leave family behind!”
“We’re not kids anymore,” you retorted, your voice laced with bitterness. “You can’t just fix everything with hugs and stubbornness, Luffy. I’m not the person you remember. I’ve accepted who I am—what I am. I don’t need your protection, and I definitely don’t need your pity.”
Sabo’s heart ached at your words, but he didn’t let it show. Instead, he stepped closer, his tone gentle but firm. “It’s not pity. It’s love. And it’s not something you can just turn off, no matter how much you try to push us away.”
Ace, his frustration reaching its peak, finally snapped. “You’re not fooling us. I don’t care how powerful or scary you think you’ve become—beneath all that, you’re still the same person who used to trip over her own feet trying to show off her magic. You’re still our sister, and we’re not leaving without you.”
His words struck a nerve, and for a split second, the mask you wore so carefully slipped. The memories they stirred—the laughter, the teasing, the warmth—hit you like a tidal wave. But you quickly pushed it all down, shoving the emotions back into the box you had sealed away years ago.
“You don’t understand,” you said, your voice quieter now but no less firm. “You can’t just barge in here and expect everything to go back to the way it was. I’ve changed. You should’ve let me go.”
Deep down, though, their presence stirred something in you—something you thought you had buried for good. For the first time in years, the icy walls you had built around yourself felt like they were beginning to crack. But you weren’t ready to let them in, not yet. So you turned away, your heart aching as you whispered, “Just go. Please.”
Luffy, of course, refused to let go of you, clinging to you like a stubborn child. Sabo’s eyes softened with understanding but also sadness, and Ace clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. It’s not that he’s upset with you, he’s more so upset with what the world has done to you to make you this cold. But they didn’t care how long it took. They weren’t going anywhere. They’d lost you once, and they weren’t about to let it happen again.
Luffy, as always, is the most relentless. No matter how many times you tell him to leave, no matter how coldly you speak or how fiercely you use your magic to push him away—he keeps coming back. Even if you send him flying through the air with a gust of wind or trap him in vines, he shows up minutes later, scratched and dirty but grinning as if nothing happened.
“I’m not leaving!” he shouts, planting his feet firmly on the ground. “You can throw me, trap me, or zap me—I don’t care! You’re my family, and I’m not losing you again!”
His determination is maddening, but it’s also heartbreakingly familiar. Deep down, it stirs something in you, a flicker of the bond you thought you’d severed long ago. But you shove the feeling aside, insisting that it’s better this way. Yet, Luffy’s persistence never wavers. He follows you everywhere like an overgrown puppy, his sheer presence a constant reminder of the love you’ve tried so hard to forget.
Sabo, ever the strategist, takes a different approach. He doesn’t push or demand; instead, he quietly works his way back into your life. He’s always nearby, watching, waiting, making sure you’re safe. He uses his calm demeanor and sharp intellect to subtly manipulate situations, ensuring you never feel completely alone.
“We don’t have to talk about the past,” he says one evening, his voice gentle as he sits near you by a crackling fire. “I just want to be here, that’s all. No expectations, no pressure.”
He gives you space when you need it, offering his presence as a steady anchor rather than a demand for reconciliation. Still, his unwavering kindness wears down your defenses bit by bit, even if you don’t want to admit it.
Ace is as fiery as ever, his protectiveness dialed up to an almost overwhelming level. Anyone who dares speak ill of you—whether they call you the “wicked witch” or something worse—immediately faces his wrath. He doesn’t hesitate to threaten them, his fists clenched and his fiery abilities ready to strike if needed.
“Say that again,” he growls at one unfortunate villager who muttered something under their breath. “I dare you.”
Around you, though, Ace’s fierce demeanor softens, though his protectiveness remains just as strong. He still instinctively positions himself on your blind side, just like he did when you were kids, standing in the perfect spot so he can “be your eye.” It’s a small, endearing gesture that tugs at your heart every time, no matter how much you try to ignore it.
“You don’t have to do that,” you murmur one day, your voice quieter than usual.
“Yes, I do,” Ace replies firmly, his expression softening as he looks at you. “I’ve always done it, and I’m not stopping now. I’m not letting you face anything alone—not ever again.”
No matter how much you try to push them away, they refuse to give up. Luffy’s relentless optimism, Sabo’s quiet persistence, and Ace’s fierce protectiveness create a barrier you can’t seem to break through. Slowly but surely, they chip away at the icy walls you’ve built around yourself, their love and determination refusing to fade.
The brothers' determination eventually cracks the ice around your heart, their love and loyalty proving stronger than the bitterness and pain you’ve clung to for so long. Slowly but surely, they remind you of the person you used to be—the kind-hearted, optimistic sibling who once dreamed of helping others. Though it’s not easy, you begin to let them back in, allowing yourself to feel the warmth of their bond again.
They don’t just offer you their love—they offer you protection, in every sense of the word. They stand beside you as you begin using your magic for good again, shielding you from the judgment of others and reassuring you that you’ll never have to face the cruelty of the world alone. Luffy’s boundless enthusiasm reignites your hope, Sabo’s steady support grounds you, and Ace’s fiery devotion reminds you that you’re worth fighting for.
“You don’t have to do it all yourself,” Sabo tells you one day, his voice steady but warm. “We’re here, and we always will be.”
“And if anyone has a problem with you,” Ace adds, cracking his knuckles, “they’re gonna have a problem with us first.”
“Yeah!” Luffy chimes in, throwing his arms around you with his usual exuberance. “You’re stuck with us now, and no one’s taking you away!”
Their protectiveness becomes almost comical at times, but you know it comes from a place of love. If anyone so much as looks at you the wrong way, they’re immediately on high alert.
Villagers whisper about how the “wicked witch” has terrifyingly powerful guardians now, and anyone foolish enough to test that quickly regrets it. One unfortunate soul who dared insult you was swiftly met with Ace’s fire, Luffy’s fists, and Sabo’s calculated fury. Let’s just say they didn’t make that mistake twice.
Honestly, everything is back to normal. Ace is back, Sabo is back, Luffy is back, and it feels like the old cheerful days. This time, however, there’s no leaving. No tearful goodbyes, no lonely nights wandering through forests, no self-loathing letters explaining why you had to go. They’ve made it clear: you’re staying, no matter what. Either you stay with them or they follow you around endlessly.
“We’re stronger now,” Ace says firmly, his voice filled with conviction. “And we’re never letting you go again.” Luffy nods enthusiastically, while Sabo places a reassuring hand on your shoulder. They don’t just say it—they prove it, every day, with their unwavering loyalty and love.
Though this means they likely don’t let you out of their sights for even a nanosecond, you feel like you’ve truly found your place again. The darkness of your past doesn’t disappear, but with your brothers by your side, it becomes easier to face.

I know we’ve already seen when they tell bug she’s gonna be a big sister but can we get something where she meets her new baby sibling for the first time 🥹🥹
crying bc buggy would be so in awe and in love and just so sweet with him!!!!!
The drive back to the hospital had been quiet, save for the soft hum of the engine and Bug’s little voice every now and then from the backseat. She’d been unusually still, her hands resting in her lap, her gaze fixed out the window. Quinn glanced at her through the rearview mirror, catching the furrow in her brow that always meant she was thinking hard about something.
“You doing okay back there, Bug?” he asked gently, his voice cutting through the silence.
She nodded, her curls bouncing, but her lips stayed pressed together. After a beat, she asked, “daddy, is mommy okay?”
The question made his chest tighten, but in the way that made him love her even more. Her little heart was so big, always so full.
“She’s okay,” he said, offering her a smile in the mirror. “She’s really excited to see you. And to introduce you to your baby brother.”
Bug’s eyes lit up at that, her small fingers tugging at the straps of her car seat as she sat up straighter. “Do you think he’ll like me?”
Quinn’s heart ached. “Oh, Bug,” he said softly, his grip on the wheel tightening slightly. “He’s going to love you. You’re his big sister, the coolest person he’s ever going to meet.”
Her little smile spread across her face, but she quickly pressed her hands over her mouth like she was trying to hold it in, like she was keeping the excitement bottled up for when she finally saw you.
When they arrived, Quinn unbuckled her and swung her up into his arms, her legs wrapping tightly around his waist as she clung to him. Her small face tucked against his neck, and he could feel her tiny breaths warm against his skin as he carried her through the hospital halls. The elevator ride was quiet, her head leaning on his shoulder, but as they approached the room, she lifted her head, her wide eyes scanning the door in front of them.
“Okay, Bug,” he murmured, pausing to adjust her on his hip before pushing the door open. “Remember, we have to be extra quiet. mommy’s tired, and your baby brother’s really little, so we have to be gentle.”
She nodded solemnly, her curls brushing his jaw as she leaned forward to get a better look at the room.
“I’ll be so gentle,” she promised in a whisper, her tiny hands gripping the front of his shirt.
The door swung open, and Quinn stepped inside, the soft light of the afternoon casting a golden glow over the room. You were propped up against the pillows, your hair still slightly mussed, but to him, you looked radiant. In your arms, cradled in a blanket so soft it looked like a cloud, was his son. The baby’s tiny face was scrunched in sleep, his little fists tucked close to his chest, utterly oblivious to the world around him.
“Mommy!” Bug’s voice burst out in excitement, cutting through the stillness of the room. She squirmed in Quinn’s arms, her little legs kicking slightly as she reached out toward you.
Quinn chuckled softly, his chest tightening at the sight of her sheer joy. “Hey, hang on,” he said, his voice warm. “Let’s take it slow.”
You looked up at them, a tired but glowing smile spreading across your face.
“Hi, Lovebug,” you said, your voice a little hoarse but filled with so much love it made Quinn’s throat tighten. “Did you have fun with Nana and Grandpa?”
Bug nodded enthusiastically, but her focus wasn’t on you — it was on the tiny bundle in your arms. Her little brows furrowed, her head tilting as she studied him.
“Is that him?” she asked in a whisper, her voice suddenly so small.
“That’s him,” you said softly, adjusting the blanket slightly so she could see better. “This is your baby brother.”
Bug’s breath hitched audibly, a sound so soft yet so full of awe it tugged at Quinn’s heart. She squirmed in his arms, her little body wriggling with impatient energy as her wide eyes stayed fixed on you and the tiny bundle nestled in your arms.
“Alright, alright,” Quinn murmured, his tone gentle and amused as he stepped closer to the bed. “Hold on, Bug. Let me get you there.”
He placed her carefully beside you, her little hands clutching at his shirt until she was settled. She immediately curled into your side, her small frame pressing against you as her wide eyes stayed locked on her new baby brother. Her fingers hovered near the edge of his blanket, hesitant but eager, her expression filled with a mix of curiosity and wonder that made Quinn’s chest ache with affection.
He stayed standing at first, watching the three of you with a feeling he couldn’t quite name. His chest felt too full, like it couldn’t contain all the love spilling out of it. And after a moment, he walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, close enough to rest his arm along the back of the headboard near your shoulder.
“What do you think, Bug?” he asked, his voice quiet.
Her lips pursed in thought, and for a moment, she said nothing. Then, finally, she nodded decisively.
“He’s… small,” she announced, her tone serious in the way only a three-year-old could manage.
Quinn’s gaze softened as he watched Bug studying her baby brother, his heart swelling with an overwhelming mix of emotions. She was three now — three — and it felt like only yesterday he had been cradling her in his arms for the first time, marveling at how small she was. He had never imagined that he would blink and find her so grown up, full of personality and curiosity. And now, here she was, meeting her baby brother for the first time, with all the wonder and awe that came with such an important milestone in their family.
You couldn’t help but laugh. “He is,” you agreed, your smile widening as you glanced at Quinn, who was already chuckling softly. You could see it in his eyes. That shared understanding — the memories of holding Bug in your arms when she was just a tiny, delicate thing, and now seeing her so incredibly in love with her baby brother — it was a lot to take in. “You were this small once upon a time.”
Bug’s eyes widened at that, her attention darting back to the tiny baby in your arms. She tilted her head slightly, as though trying to imagine herself that small, and then, after a quiet moment of thought, her hand crept forward, pausing just above the soft blanket.
She glanced up at you with hopeful eyes. “Can I hold him?” she whispered, her voice barely louder than the sound of her breath.
You and Quinn exchanged a look, a silent question and answer passing between you, laced with all the unspoken weight of what this moment meant. His lips curved into a soft, reassuring smile, the kind that said he understood without either of you needing to say a word. Already, he was moving, scooting closer to the edge of the bed with a quiet grace, his body naturally angling toward you and Bug, as if instinctively creating space for the moment to unfold.
“C’mere, Bug,” he said, his voice warm and encouraging, a little crooked smile tugging at his lips.
Bug didn’t wait for a second invitation. She wriggled out from beside you and climbed eagerly into Quinn’s lap, her legs swinging against his. His arms came around her securely, grounding her in his hold as though he could bottle this moment forever.
It was important — more than just Bug meeting her baby brother. It was a shift in your little world, the moment your eldest stepped into her new role, and Quinn, steady as ever, was there to guide her through it. The tenderness in his movements, the way his hand rested lightly on Bug’s back, spoke volumes. This wasn’t just an introduction; it was a promise, one that tied all four of you together.
“You gotta be real gentle, okay?” he told her, leaning his chin slightly over her shoulder so he could see her face. “We don’t want to squish him.”
Bug nodded solemnly, her little hands folding neatly in her lap, her little body radiating the kind of serious pride that only a three-year-old could manage. “I’ll be careful,” she promised.
With practiced hands, you adjusted the blanket around your baby boy, leaning forward slowly, deliberately, to pass him into Quinn’s waiting arms. Bug’s small hands reached out instinctively, one of them resting lightly on her brother’s tiny chest, her touch featherlight yet brimming with responsibility.
Her breath hitched audibly, her wide eyes fixed on the tiny bundle cradled in Quinn’s hands. She leaned closer. “I can feel him breathing,” she whispered, her voice full of awe, as though the quiet rise and fall beneath her palm was the most extraordinary thing in the world.
Quinn’s arms tightened slightly around her, his hold steady as he adjusted the baby in his hands to make sure both his children were perfectly safe.
“Pretty amazing, huh?” Quinn said softly, his voice tinged with awe as he watched Bug’s expression shift to something so purely tender it made his chest ache.
It was the moment he and you had both dreamt about from the second you found out another little one was on the way. The image of your eldest meeting her baby sibling had played in his mind a hundred different ways, but now that it was here — Bug so carefully holding her tiny brother as if he were the most precious thing in the world — it was almost overwhelming.
His throat tightened slightly, and he blinked against the sudden gloss in his eyes. Nothing dramatic, nothing that would draw attention, but enough to remind him just how much his heart could hold. He shifted his arm around Bug a little tighter, grounding himself in the warmth of her small frame, in the soft hum of her quiet breaths.
When his gaze flicked to you, your eyes met, full of the same quiet emotion he felt in his chest. Your smile was soft, a little teary, as though you were both silently saying, we did this — we made this family. And for a moment, he couldn’t help but lean in and press a kiss to the top of Bug’s head, his hand adjusting slightly to cradle his son closer.
“Best big sister in the world,” he murmured, his voice just a little thicker than usual. Bug didn’t even look up, her entire focus still on her brother and his tiny, perfect features, but her small, proud smile said she’d heard him loud and clear.
“He smells nice,” she stated after a moment, glancing at Quinn like she needed his approval for the observation.
Quinn chuckled, leaning forward to press another kiss to her hair. “Yeah, he does. Babies are magic like that.”
You laughed quietly, watching the two of them together with your heart so full it almost hurt. “He’s so lucky to have you," you said, reaching out to brush a strand of hair behind her ear.
Bug beamed at that, the pride lighting up her face almost too much for her small body to contain.
For Quinn, this was everything. His whole world — right there in his arms.

Dating Teen Vi
Dating Arc 1 Vi would include..
Vander loving you as another kid. You may have your own patents but he still sees you as one of his children. Meaning he gives Vi the talk instead of you because he feels she'll need it more.
Teen Vi is 100% shy when it comes to PDA. She will hold your hand in public but that's about it. On the rare occasion when she's a bit jealous she may give your check or lip a kiss but it's rare.
When it's just the two of you or 3 of you powder can see her soft side. She'd go all out and be attacking your face with kisses and love.
At this stage you guys wouldn't know your love language so expect a bit of everything at this stage as you're trying it all out for the first time.
I don't think she can cook, no one in that band can. So often you'd cook meals for the group and bake treats for her and Powder.
If you go on the "jobs" with the group, Vi would be protective of you. Yeah she knows you can kickass but she doesn't want to lose you or to get you hurt.
Also Mylo would be annoying cause she'd stop for a sec to admire your beauty and he'd be like
" I could do better than that. She's just showing off at this point."
You'd flip him off whilst flipping to another building. And when you get to wherever you are going to rob she'd let you take personal things for yourself and not to sell. Honestly she wouldn't care what you do she'd just watch you for a minute with a love sick smile on her face.
The others would 100% tease her about it. And she's blushing a bit and playing it off. They'd believe for the first few times until it becomes a daily routine.
She'd get you little gifts when you don't do jobs together and surprise you with them
If you don't go on jobs with the group you'd originally babysit Powder. Keeping her distracted and happy while the others are out risking your lives.
You weren't a fighter so you never asked to go to jobs. However you did learn how to treat basic ailments to help Vi and Claggor when they got badly hurt.
Vi would 100% get you little gifts from the jobs she does without you surprising you with them. She'd be like;
"We were out at this one house, and I saw something. It reminded me so much of you. It was perfect and beautiful so I thought you should have it."
And then she'll give you a beautiful necklace. Or something romantic that you appreciate because of your relationship.
You'd bake her cupcakes whenever she's had a hard day and you think she needs to relax. The two of you will just cuddle as you sing a soft song to her. For example, falling for you by peachy!
Because you're always baking her sweet stuff and 'cause she loves your cake and cups she calls you…
CUPCAKE
I'm not sorry for that. But on the note of pet name's teen Vi will call you anything to see you flustered.
She just loves you so much and you love her too
She’s definitely the big spoon and powder loves you more than vi (you didn’t hear that from me)
Like she see Vi as her hero but she sees how Vi looks at you and see you as Vi hero
You’re literally the coolest kid in Vander’s house
Plus you can work the bar, you have a lot of free time, so you’re able to earn a little for shifts at the bar
When Vi leaves powder behind you’d both have a big cussing 100%
Like you know how scared and confused Powder is and refuse to go and help because Powder needs support as well
Powder (bless her) would 100% influence you and beg you to bring her to the fight
One look at her puppy dog eyes, and you would cave and bring her in once she promises to stay hidden
You’d bring her and miss all the signs and when the bomb goes off, you’re their trying to protect her
Vi slaps (I refuse to write the p word) both you and her sister
Cue another heated argument you’d slap her back and cuss her out for touching you and Powder
And you’d break up.
So pissed you tell her to “fucking go to hell Violet.”
And she pretty much does, you’d try your best to comfort powder
Trying to stay strong for her, yet you’d let a few tears fall at your newly broken heart, your loss of home and your loss of your friends
You don’t notice Silco and when you do you don’t trust him fully.
But you know you and Powder need a place to stay so when he accepts Powder’s hug, you lower your guard
Moreso when you see a familiar face, passed out Sevika eases your nerves
You never do find out what happened at the warehouse, but you do know you lost everyone except Powder
You wonder if you’d ever see Vi again as you take on the older sister responsibilities for Powder’s sake
A/N
I hope you enjoyed this. I feel its better than the version i posted last time. To old moots this is not a goodbye. THIS IS A REVAMP!!
TIL NEXT TIME MY LOVES

thinking about older brother jj with younger siblings. a set of twins. one girl, one boy.
luke cleared off and left them with his oldest, typical. the boy is loud-mouthed, troubled, angry at only five years old. he’s always running off, little legs sprinting away from their little shack until jj easily catches up and carries him back to the house with a fistful of the back of his t-shirt. “nice try, bud. get your little ass inside, now.” he’s just a little ball of rage, mad that both his parents aren’t here anymore.
the little girl is the opposite. dark blonde hair like jj, but none of his characteristics. she’s quiet, advanced for her years intellectually, already able to read to a higher standard than any of her peers. she’s popes little best friend, always at his side quietly peering over his shoulder at his books. she’s a huge crybaby, and jj figures its because whilst she’s so smart on a book level— she just can’t work out why her mommy and daddy aren’t there anymore. jj gives her all his love and hopes it’s enough.
jj can’t afford a babysitter, so he’s constantly carting around the two five year olds — wrangling the boy and making sure the girl is okay at all times. they think their big brother is the coolest — driving them around in the twinkie with john b, yelling “pogues for life!” in little roars out the window.
as difficult as it is sometimes, it’s not all bad. they have their better moments, when the little boy is too tired to misbehave and the girl has pulled her nose out of a book— the three of them sat on the pier at sunset, the oldest boy pointing out boats and telling stories until the two of them fall asleep against him. he promises he’ll take them to disneyland one day like the kids on the youtube videos and it keeps them happy, despite the fact he’s not sure if he’ll ever be able to afford it.
when it’s bad, it’s bad — jj often goes hungry to make sure the twins eat, standing at the doorway watching the two of them share their double bed, wiped out on the bed his father used to sleep on. he wonders how he’ll manage when they get older, bigger, need their own space. he couldn’t afford to move out of this old shack. there’s times the young boy had yelled, screamed the house down, running through the grass to get away from everything and jj nearly couldn’t bring himself to chase him, too overwhelmed and on the verge of breaking down himself. one look into the fearful eyes of his sweet little sister, and he would be taking off after him.
you come along and things get easier. you greet jj’s brother for the first time with a remote control car, and you’ve instantly won him over — jj’s mini-me having an obsession with all things vehicle. you pay equal attention to his little sister, having quiet time with just her on the porch painting eachothers toenails and giggling — even when she completely covers your feet in the shiny pink pink. jj falls deeper and deeper for you as he watches.

Oh, hi! Didn’t see you see there. I’m Kat Carter!
Okay, lemme think… I’m fifteen, daughter of Apollo currently at Camp Half-Blood with my homies <3
When I’m not at camp, NYC is my home base. You can probably find me in Apollo cabin: practicing monologues/songs, playing matchmaker (it’s not just for Aphrodite kids!), or staging a kitchen coup d’état so I can bake something delicious.
he gets his own category:
@ellis--wakefield — my boyfriend <333
he’s really cute and he’s great at capture the flag and he’s nice to the newbies and damn he’s just idk how to even describe him ‘cause words cannot
Former… um… let’s just say people I used to know:
@lukemessedup — Good boss, bad business
@lieutenant-of-kronos — I regret letting him convince me to join up but he’s a nice guy.
@alabaster-c-t — Yep. You read that right. Bro is apparently not dead, nor has ever been.
@the-song-of-the-moon — We’re starting an ex-Titan Army therapy group together :3
Uncle Kronos (links to the Wayback Machine of the first version) — Literally cannot believe I wrote this. Uncle Kronos was a good person. I think I’ll always miss him, but I’m glad he found peace. Here’s to you, Uncle K.
@existence-is-pain-ahhhhhhhh — need I say more? He’s awesome. Case closed.
@the-better-castellan — new addition to the List Of People Who Aren’t Dead After All! They’re cool trust me
@peyton-is-cool — I missed him loads. Thank the gods he’s safe—he’s been in Texas? I guess?
Totally irresponsible pseudo-father to half of CHB (he does actually care about campers but he’s got a reputation to uphold):
@dionysus-god-of-all-things-wine
My fellow campers, love y’all:
@thanatoss-favorite-demigod — best murder road trip buddy a gal could ask for
@thehadescabincounsler — I’ve adopted them into Apollo cabin. They’re now officially an honorary child of the Sun Dude.
@thatonebitheaterkid — my sibling. too many pets (affectionate)
@that-dam-daughter-of-poseidon — my absolute bestie <3
@poseidons-favourite-daughter — training together ⚔️! She’s so sweet and a year rounder so I won’t be alone come fall
@yes-im-a-daughter-of-hades — she just got back from Tartarus, so you know what that means!… binge watching everything pop culture. Phineas and Ferb say what?
@lady-ariadne-of-milan — my coolest big sister. Be nice, she’s been trapped as a flower since, like, the Renaissance.
@bill-son-of-boreas — Ayyy! My Norwegian bestie!
@internal-bloodshed — I’m like ninety percent sure he wants me dead. If I step a toe out of line and hurt Ellis, my body will apparently never be found.
@the-better-stoll-brother — If anyone messes with him one more time I’m throwing hands.
Shoot me an ask, camp can get kinda boring!
(Psst. My general tag is #kat carter on the case, and my lore tag is #from the archives of kat carter)
(Extra psst. Do you want more Kat Carter content without actually having to roleplay? Send me an ask by picking something from my tag #ask game!)

zeke tyler dating headcannons (the faculty)
psa i have not written anything like this since middle school. please but pitchforks down if they are raised 😔
these are pretty much all dating headcannons and little blurbs i am more than willing to expand on any one of them
warnings: mentions of drug use but pretty innocent other than that AND this is not proofread. i was too excited.
there is only one other zeke tyler headcannons work on this app so this is completely inspired by that person
enjoy whores 🔥
- his girlfriend (you) is so fucking cool. im thinking kevin and michelle dynamic from dazed and confused.
- very big on PDA. i mean very. he’s not afraid to make out with you in the courtyard. he wants to show you off, because why wouldn’t he, you’re stunning, he wants everyone to know the coolest girl in school is his.
- Always holding on to you. if you’re walking in the hall, his arm is around your shoulders or leading you by the small of your back.
- loves to smoke with you. sharing a cigarette just feels so intimate. plus you just look super hot when you do it
- loves your style, especially the showier clothing. ”what’s this?” he’d ask, running the hem of your new crop top between his fingers. “you like it?” you look up at him, your hands on his shoulders, his on your waist. “i love it.” and kiss you in the middle of the parking lot akskdkdjdk
- you’re his main product tester. you spend hours trying small amounts of it (stay safe kids) and telling him what there’s too much or too little of. when he’s ready for you to try his next batch, you’re passed out on his garage couch. he eventually slides in behind you when he’s all finished.
- your parents don’t like him. at all. you know they’d love him if they knew how smart he was, but he wasn’t exactly in his good graces after he ran into your garbage can with his car the first time he came over for dinner.
- he is the king of sneaking in, and sneaking you out. since your parents aren’t fond of him, they don’t really want you around him - they think he’s a bad influence. he climbs the terrace with ease, same cheeky smirk on his face when you turn at the soft knock to se him at your window.
- definitely spends many nights at your house. you have some of his clothes hidden in your closet for when he stays over.
- probably had long hair when he was little, then cut it himself when he was ten. he’s been cutting his own hair ever since, won’t let anyone else cut it. UNTIL you come along
- uses 3in1. sorry. he has shit to do, can’t be bothered to take his sweet time in the shower.
- once he lost track of the last time he washed his hair, you just did it for him in the sink. he loved how your nails felt on his scalp, so after that it becomes a frequent question. “Wash my hair for me? M’too tired.” you always comply.
- best friends with your younger sibling. if you have a little brother, you often just leave them to play video games together. if you have a younger sister, he’ll be sporting a tiara at her tea party. they ADORE zeke. you make him promise to never bring any of his PENS when your sibling is around. wouldn’t want a Fiona Gallagher Liam incident!!

Hello! Recently read a few of your kn8 Soshiro x Reader fics and fell in love with your writing style. It's so lovely, and I really like your portrayal of him! If you're okay with requests, can you maybe write a Soshiro/female!Reader story where the two have a number of memorable chance meetings from childhood to adulthood, until they "officially" meet in the Defense Force? I'm lowkey obsessed with the idea of two people who meet as kids and are repeatedly separated and reunited during different stages of life, before reuniting for good as adults who can be together. Bonus points if the reader is Kafka's silly little sister!
Sorry if this is a lot, and thanks for reading it all!
I love your big brain, anon. The childhood friends trope is really at the top of everything for some reason! But soulmates, too? (Or something like that lol.) These are just a few of my favourite things to write.
Hope you enjoy this!
cw: (F) Reader/OC has a name in this fic, Hibino Mayari, and is six years younger than Kafka and one year younger than Mina. There may be some inaccuracy with the ages. Written with a generic (f) reader in mind. ✧ Mayari is the deity of the moon, night, war, revolution, equality, and strength in the Philippines. Since Kafka had a unique name, I thought I'd give his little sister one, too. Think of it as their mother being some kind of voracious reader and giving her children names they absolutely cannot find in souvenir shops. wc: 3.8k
✧ Stardust - Sakura Fujiwara
stardust
Lucky stars, a trick of the gods, destiny— you could call your meeting so many different things. Strings so intricately twined that you'd think it to be a single rope, raindrops from the same cloud falling into the same ocean, and shadows coming together as the sun reaches a point in the sky. There wasn't a single part of you that wouldn't recognise the soul that touched yours that fateful day.
What was it like to make a promise to someone? Your older brother promised you many things— sweets after school, a piggyback ride whenever you got tired of running after him, and taking you wherever you wanted. Such were the little sister privileges granted to you by your older brother Kafka.
In the wake of your home's destruction, you remember him making a promise to a girl— your next-door neighbour Mina, and how they both swore to rise above and become the coolest Defense Force Officer the world has ever seen. You wanted in on that promise, too, and Kafka agreed only because you were his younger sister, his only one in this world. And Mina agreed because there was no way she could refuse you and your eagerness.
"I want to be a Defense Force Officer, too!"
"Then let's race! Me, Mina, and Mayari! Let's see who becomes the coolest of them all!"
Not long after making that promise, you were caught amid a Yoju attack that separated you from Kafka and your mother. You screamed and wailed for your older brother, for anyone at that point, only to be rescued by a lone swordsman who swept through the field with his single blade. Your nameless saviour brought you to the nearest evacuation centre, where you reunited with your family and the rest of your community.
You only knew swordsmen from legends and anime and not even once in your life did you ever think you'd be rescued by one, but then you were. And you couldn't peel your eyes away from the older man, who was clearly flattered by how you followed him around the evacuation centre with your curious eyes.
"Is there anything I can do for you, little one?"
"I—! I want to be a swordsman, too!"
He chuckled at your declaration, calling it an admirable intention, but the light in your eyes revealed the depth of your earnestness— a rarity for children like you who have lost nearly everything in your life— mostly due to Kaiju attacks.
The old man in the familiar Defense Force uniform crouched down and held out his hand for a handshake with you. "Very well. If you wish to devote yourself to the way of the sword, you must be willing to sacrifice your existing way of life."
He scrounged a wrinkled sheet of paper and a pen and wrote down an address that your practised eyes could read. "Ho… shina?"
"That's correct. If you truly wish to learn more about swordsmanship, come to this place, and I will teach you all that our family knows."
That little scrap of paper became your most treasured possession. After weeks of pestering your older brother to take you to that place, he eventually relented and allowed you a maximum of 30 minutes before he came to pick you up again.
You were almost turned away from the dojo when the students mistook you for a lost child, but your saviour recognised you— and your eyes filled with hope. When you introduced yourself to him once more and reiterated your intention to learn the way of the sword, he acknowledged you with a deep bow, which you quickly imitated.
"I have a son your age. He will be the one to teach you the most basic yet valuable lessons when it comes to swordsmanship," he said before gesturing at a boy in the same haori and hakama as him. "Soshiro."

Rumours about the high schooler Hibino Mayari and her incredible sword arm reached even the ears of her older brother in college. While you remained his adorable little sister for the most part, it was clear to Kafka that you had a gift for the sword you had to continue honing. From his estimation, you won't have any difficulty passing the Defense Force Entrance Exams, but that will depend on your overall combat power and affinity for firearms.
At 23, he had already failed four times, while you had one more year before you could take it yourself. And while you didn't wish for your brother to lose hope, the way things were going for him did not bode well.
You were both home for the weekend, Kafka with his can of beer in hand while you practised your swings with your bokken in your backyard.
"Aniki," you started. "Mina nee-san will take the entrance exams later this year, right?"
"Yeah. Wish her luck when you can," he told you. "Speaking of which, didn't you say your friend will be taking the exam, too?"
"Shiro-kun has family in the Defense Force. Though I doubt he'd try to get in the force by family connections alone," you said with a smile. "It's been years since I last saw him, so I wonder if he's really going to take the exam this year like he said before."
As a child, you learned everything you could about swordsmanship under the tutelage of the age-old samurai clan, but after being assessed at the age of 13, the Hoshina patriarch declared you a shodan, an estimation which meant you already had a clear grasp of the basics of swordsmanship.
"It's a pity they had to let you go just when you were getting good, huh?" Kafka remarked as he drank deep from his can of beer.
"I know, but Shisho said Shiro-kun and I were quickly becoming big fish in a small pond and training with a single person for a long time would narrow our perspective, so we had to start training with others. At least that's what he told me," you replied to him as you rested your bokken on your stiff shoulder. "I'm glad the schools I went to had Kendo clubs with members of varying levels of strengths and skill, so I was able to make use of my knowledge while learning new things at the same time."
"Oh, come on. You learned swordsmanship from an elite dojo. We both know you just wanted to show off— ow!" He said with a small snort, to which you replied by lightly kicking his shin. "Mayari!"
"Well, maybe I do want to show off a little," you huffed at your older brother.
"They even gave you some tacky nickname, right? Crescent blade Mayari! Pfft!"
You kicked his shin a bit harder this time. "Aniki! I didn't ask for that! My kouhais thought it was cool, so…"
"So you ran with it," Kafka nodded at you before gently kicking you back. You could tell from the way he looked at you that he kind of wanted to cry. "I am proud of you, Mayari."
That can't be helped, you told yourself. Aniki is always so honest with himself, after all.
"Thank you, aniki. Don't go crying on me now. I'll always be your adorable little sister," you replied to him with a laugh and playfully batted your eyelashes at him. "Speaking of which, this adorable little sister of yours just saw this pretty dress in—"
"H-Hey! Don't get too ahead of yourself, Mayari!"
"Aniki," you said to him with a smile. "I hope you know I'll always be rooting for you, too, so don't give up, okay? I'm sure Mina nee-san will be waiting for you— and me— when she passes the exam this year."
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4d21e172fed7c5480e14d6dd338d2f8e/15ab643bdf74d5cc-ed/s500x750/65ff0baf84980f45d1c5b47e783b1de2c15cfdaf.webp)
"Shiro-kun!"
It was an endearing nickname that was even more endearing by the sweet way you said it. If he was being honest, Soshiro did not think much of you back then. For him, you were just a little girl his father invited to learn and train swordsmanship. You were different from him in the way flowers grew from the same bush. While they were equally tended to, some will grow larger than others and bloom more brilliantly, too.
He likened you to a grafted plant— one attached to him by the roots. And brilliantly did you bloom, indeed. A wildflower that thrived from the same water and sunlight as he did. For him, it was only a matter of time until you bloomed in fullness and outgrew him, but that never happened because his father uprooted you to the quick— for growing at a rate he did not expect from someone like you.
That, and he did not expect his sons to start fighting over you. And though you were one of his most excellent pupils, he didn't deem you worth the trouble his sons would stir if you did not permit them to tame you.
You parted your place of learning in good faith and had nothing but gratitude for the Hoshina Family, but there were times you thought it was unfair. He will continue learning under the best of the best while you have to carry on by yourself… But you were more disheartened by the fact that you would not see him again.
Soshiro was truly the best rival you could ever ask for. As you entered middle school and high school and razed through club after club and joined every tournament you could, you soon realised that no one else could ever come close to him— both in skill and in something else you couldn't quite put a finger on. You searched for him in every opponent you came across, only to be disappointed time and again that they were not even at your level.
In your final year of high school, during your school's long-anticipated cultural festival, the drama club needed someone with your skill, and they made you the centrepiece of their performance by teaching you a sword dance that drew spectators to your graceful form.
"She's a marvel."
For once in his life, Soshiro was glad to have let his curiosity win him over. He was glad he sighted you in your high school's silly-looking cultural festival poster— for never did he expect to see the most beautiful wildflower in full bloom, adorned with silk and grace that did little to conceal her thorns as she danced to the strong yet tender rhythm of an equally gorgeous piece of music played on a shamisen.
That was his wildflower.
When he came to see you after your performance, all you could say was his name. "Shiro-kun!"
And it sounded just as sweet as when he last heard it.
"Are ya just dancin' now?"
"Of course not! I was just helping the drama club!" You retorted with a smile. "If you wish to challenge me, all you have to do is ask."
Your wordless duel of wooden swords was akin to dance as well, both of you equally deft, your movements measured and graceful, almost like spinning before a mirror until your dull blades were pressed against each other's necks.
"I see time has not dulled your skills. That's good."
"It looks like time has been incredibly good to ya, too," he said, a familiar glint of mischief in his wine-dark eyes. "You've gotten prettier, Mayari-chan."
"Hmm. Not exactly the words I was looking for, but good enough, I suppose," you shook your head at him before breaking out into a smile. "It's good to see you again, Shiro-kun."
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4d21e172fed7c5480e14d6dd338d2f8e/15ab643bdf74d5cc-ed/s500x750/65ff0baf84980f45d1c5b47e783b1de2c15cfdaf.webp)
Mina's meteoric rise to the rank of Division Captain did not surprise you. Ever since you were children, she had always been more focused on her goals compared to Kafka, who only desired the coolness associated with being a Defense Force officer. She vouched for your potential when you took the entrance exams and passed with the help of her commendation, though she reassured you herself that your own skills brought you there to where she was.
And though you were subsequently assigned to a different division, she kept in touch with you as you both anticipated your older brother's arrival.
An arrival that never came.
When you last phoned your home, it was only then you found out that Kafka had moved out and started working as a monster cleaner. It was a noble profession for you, of course, but you couldn't help but think—
—of how lonely your older brother must have been to have received rejection after rejection from something he had wanted to do all his life—
And it pains you to think that behind his smile when he congratulated you for passing the exams and becoming an officer was the sting of dismissal.
When Kafka stopped calling to check in on you, you figured he might be busy with his job. Behind your stellar performance during missions was a strong sense of duty and a great fear of failure that allowed you to focus on the things you can control. You missed your older brother, but it was his choice to give up.
However, you sensed a change in the wind after receiving a summon from the Captain of the Third Division out of the blue.
"Captain Ashiro called for you again, Mayari. I know she's always looking forward to seeing you in joint training, but doesn't she realise how stressful it is having to travel to Tokyo so often?"
The Captain of the Fourth Division, Ogata Jugo, was a relatively relaxed man for the most part, but he was also incredibly insightful. He had no qualms about promoting you to a Platoon Leader despite your inclination to use swords in missions. He believes in allowing officers to use their own weapons of choice and that you would eventually use a gun when the situation calls for it.
Captain Ogata trusts your skills, but he trusts your critical thinking even more.
"I don't really mind all the travelling, Captain, sir," you replied to him with your usual cheer. Nagano to Tokyo wasn't a walk in the park but a three-and-a-half-hour car ride.
"Well, I do. You are my Platoon Leader, after all. You must defend this base when the situation arises," your captain said with a sigh. "I'm betting that Ashiro would do just about anything to have you transferred to her division."
"Nonsense, Captain. My place is here," you reassured him. "And while I do enjoy being the apple of her eye, I don't think I'll work well under the Third Division and its Captain."
"Why'd you think that?"
"Because Captain Ashiro would sooner lose herself in the battle than send me out," you said with a small shrug. "Sisterly instincts, I suppose. More importantly, I like working with you and our division, Captain, sir."
"You should tell that to her," your Captain chuckled.
"But for the record, Captain, I enjoy seeing her, too," you replied with an easygoing laugh. "I hope you continue to be lenient with me, sir."
"All right, all right. Go before I change my mind," Ogata stated as he shooed you away with a slow swatting motion. "And don't forget to bring me back some of that stuff you last brought."
You gave him a sharp salute and the same warm smile he enjoyed seeing on your face. "I'll be sure to bring home a bottle or two for you, Captain, sir!"
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/37d5f05305543cc67d3bee5c5cc91d98/15ab643bdf74d5cc-87/s540x810/53be5c33552f1011d9efa9ec23f46c5eb8c5c8b5.jpg)
Tachikawa Base never failed to amaze you. You found it more of a marvel compared to Headquarters, seeing as it was at the centre of the busiest city in Japan, but it was a constant magnet of Kaiju attacks, too.
The entrance exams concluded Tachikawa Base's busiest time of the year, and with fresh recruits to fill in the ranks, more joint training sessions would soon be set to foster a warm relationship and camaraderie among the different members of the Defense Force's Eastern Divisions.
Mina received you at her office as per protocol, the one place where you could simply be friends and not Captain and subordinate.
"Fourth Division Platoon Leader Hibino Mayari at your service," you stated your name with a sharp salute and dignity tied to your esteemed position. "It's good to see you again, Captain Ashiro, ma'am."
"It's good to see you well, Mayari-chan," the older woman saluted right back before offering you a handshake. "I'll have to thank Captain Ogata for permitting your visit this time again."
"I'll buy his clemency before I head back to Nagano, Mina nee-san," you said with a laugh. "How did the entrance exams go this year, by the way? I only heard from Captain Ogata that something… strange happened."
Mina squeezed your hand and motioned for you to sit next to her. "This year's exams were nothing short of strange, I'll tell you that. But there's something I want to show you, too."
Having the Division Captain herself guide you through the many halls and walls of her base meant you had to return many greetings and salutations from younger officers. Mina was evidently well-loved by her division and adored by the masses for her levelheadedness that calmed whatever panic struck them during Kaiju attacks. After what seemed to be fifteen minutes of walking, you finally arrived at the base training ground, where most of the recruits gathered for their routine drills.
"One of these days, we'd like for you to visit again when we host the annual goodwill Kendo match," she stated, eyeing the state of her division's recruits from above the area's gate.
"I'd be glad to take part in…" You answered her, only for her to give you a small smile as she pointed down at one of the Third Division's recruits.
Lagging behind their laps was one older man gasping for breath, while a younger man slowed his pace to keep up with him.
"Aniki…?!"
Kafka turned to the direction of that endearment like clockwork, only to find you and Mina curiously peering down at him from the gate while the rest of his cohort eventually outran him.
"Mayari! And Mina, too!"
"Another 30 laps for calling your superiors by their names, Officer Hibino," Mina shot back at him, to which he replied with a small groan of protest. "You can catch up with Platoon Leader Hibino once you're done with your drills and punishment."
You managed to laugh off your older brother's misfortune over his excitement at seeing you, but your amusement was swiftly replaced by the same kind of shock that came over Kafka when you saw yet another figure in the same sleek black uniform approach you and Mina.
"Captain Ashiro! I didn't expect to see you here today! I was told you have a guest…"
"Ah!"
"Eh?"
"Sh-Shiro-kun?!"
"Huh. So you're that Shiro-kun, Hoshina? Mayari-chan told us much about you when we were young," Mina mused aloud, though you knew from the small smile on her face that she sewed everything seamlessly. "What a small world we live in. To think that one of my oldest friends knows my Vice Captain."
"I-I apologise for speaking out of turn, V-Vice Captain Hoshina!" You mustered a nervous salute directed at your childhood rival, now one of the Third Division's most prominent superior officers. "I-It's good to see you again, sir!"
"Fancy meeting you here, Mayari-chan. Or should I say Platoon Leader—"
"Fourth Division Platoon Leader Hibino Mayari at your service, Vice Captain, sir! I'm here at Captain Ashiro's invitation."
Hibino? He thought to himself. Same as the stand-out candidate from this year's exams— "Wait a second, are you actually Kafka's sister?!"
"I hope my older brother hasn't been causing you any trouble, sir," you let out a nervous little chuckle. "Truth be told, I haven't spoken to him in the last few years and I did not expect to see him here at all. Mina nee-san— I mean, Captain Ashiro only informed me about this today."
"I see. Then you two must have a lot of catching up to do," he replied to you with a warm smile, to which Mina responded by patting him on his shoulder.
"You two have a lot of catching up to do, too, wouldn't you agree, Hoshina?"
"Well, I— It's just that Mayari-ch— I mean, I simply thought Platoon Leader Hibino would like to hear about her brother's exploits so far…?"
"Make good use of your time while you're here, Platoon Leader Hibino. Seeing as Hoshina is here, too, you should discuss the goodwill Kendo match between our divisions as well."
"O-Of course, Captain Ashiro, ma'am!"
She gave your shoulder a quick squeeze as well, before eventually whispering in your ear, "Kafka-kun and I will be waiting for you, so make sure you two catch up well."
As Mina disappeared back to the base's main building, you were left to watch how Soshiro conducted drills and training exercises with his division's recruits. Nearly everyone cheered for Kafka as he finished the last of his additional 30 laps around the training ground before they all shuffled back to the mess hall, you and their Vice Captain trailing them from behind.
"Anything on yer mind, Mayari-chan?"
"How is Shisho? I hope he's been well."
"The old man's as stubborn as a fox, I'll tell ya that. I suppose I'll have to let him know that one of his most prized students made it here again."
"Does he still remember me?"
"'Course he does, even though we only knew you as Mayari-chan. You're one of his most dedicated pupils, after all," Soshiro stated with a grin. "One time he said he regretted letting ya go. But I'm sure he'll change his tune when he finds out how much better you've become, both with a sword and with yer guns…"
"You think I've gotten better with just a glance?" You teasingly asked him. "The last we met, you said I only got prettier."
"Well, pardon me for noticing your face before everythin' else," he shrugged at you. "And I wasn't jokin' about that, either. You did get prettier."
"And now? I can show you how well I've grown. If you wish to challenge me, all you have to do is ask."
Soshiro chuckled at your instigation, only for him to tell you with the most familiar glint of mischief in his eyes, "I think you're mistaken there, Platoon Leader. You're the challenger here."
"Of course, sir. How could I forget that I'm on your turf?" You said with a hearty laugh. "Shall we put on a show for your lucky recruits? It's not every day they see two blade masters battle it out."
Lucky stars, a trick of the gods, destiny— your meeting could be defined by so many different things. But one thing remained constant in your every coming together and parting…
"I'd like that!"
Rivals, friends, colleagues, lovers. The titles didn't matter much to you. This meeting once more proves you were meant to be part of Hoshina Soshiro's life in one way or another, just as he was meant to be in yours.

Hello!! I was just wondering if you had / knew of any Colin headcannons that aren’t pen centric (I love that girl but 😭😭 idk ppl write / view Colin like he just exists for pen and it’s so mf tiring)
!!!!! OH BOY DO I!!!!! (I love this ask, thank you so much, I am VIBRATING with excitement)
+The first horse Colin learned to ride on was named by him and he called him Blot. (shoutout to @waterfireflyer2 for this one!!!!) He had initially meant to name him BOLT, as in he's so fast like a bolt of lightning, but he misspoke and he was Blot forevermore.
+Colin was the shortest of his siblings, including Daphne AND Eloise up until he was about 14. Year after year, he went off to Eton, a scrappy, scrawny little thing and came back equally as tiny. Then, one year, he outgrew approximately 6 pairs of pants in one summer and showed back up to Aubrey Hall with his ankles and wrists bare out too small clothes, taller than even Anthony
+His sisters LOVED giving him makeovers when they were growing up. He was a consistent companion at tea parties. They'd have to put him in Fran's dresses because he was too small for Daphne's or El's
+Colin had a stuffed animal that he carried with him EVERYWHERE as a child. Wherever Colin was, so was King Arthur, his little teddy bear. He spent a lot of time looking for the PERFECT stick sword for him to hold and insisted on making little paper crowns for him to wear
+Colin's favorite brother is Benedict. He was the one who used to pick Colin up and put him on his shoulders so Colin would feel tall
+Anthony taught Colin how to box
+Once, Colin almost broke his arm trying to save the family dog, Biscuit, when he scrambled into a really small hole under a tree and couldn't get out. Turns out, if the dog is too big, so is Colin. He was stuck for like five hours and wriggled wrong. Ended up spraining his shoulder, but Biscuit and he both got tons of extra treats and attention, so it was worth it
+Colin used to sneak into the kitchen to swipe food for Violet when she was going through grief to try to cheer her up. He made an altar of uneaten snacks and rough drawings and flower bracelets for her in his attempts. The staff all knew, but they didn't give him a hard time about it
+Colin was very, very adept at disappearing. Most of the time, people didn't come looking for him (too many kids in the house to always worry, besides). Longest he was missing was three days and they found him in the barn with his favorite cow, Petunia, and a tummy ache from living off of sweets
+Colin taught Daphne how to throw a punch and Daphne taught Colin sarcasm
+He learned how to cuss at Eton
+He and Fran used to duet together. She'd play piano and he'd sit next to her. They would take turns pushing the pedals (@orangepeelshortbreadcookies is the mastermind for this one!) and come up with nonsense songs to sing together. Their hits include 'Catch and Toast' (of course) but also 'Biscuit ate the Butter' and 'Mud Bugs in our Rugs'
+Greg thinks Colin is the coolest brother
+Colin's favorite Greek god is Athena
+Colin always had a hard time making friends. People tend to LIKE him, he's a nice person, but anything beyond the surface level is difficult for him to maintain. He compartmentalizes a lot of his negative feelings or prefers to deal with them on his own. It makes confiding in people really difficult for him
+Colin once tried to learn how to play the violin. It. . .didn't go well
+When Hy was first born, Colin would sneak into the nursery to sing her lullabies
+Colin had a hard time sleeping on his travels. Seasick on the boat and then wary on land, he became an increasingly light sleeper. Most of his journal entries were written at night
+Colin is naturally left handed, but learned to write and fence and do most things with right as well because of the society they live in. He writes his journal and important letters with his left, however. You can only tell because the handwriting looks different
+Colin really enjoys arithmetic. HATED his religion courses, though. He found it hard to read through a lot of the verses, especially aloud
+The family member who responded to most of his letters was Hyacinth. She wanted to hear about the different foods and animals he saw, so he tailored his letters to fit her interests. Her letters back were pages on pages long and he kept every single one
+France, in particular, was lonely for Colin.
+Colin's favorite Family Member in Law is Kate. Hands down. Kate's favorite Family Member in Law is Eloise, but Colin's a very close second.
+Colin learned to sew when he was traveling
+Colin didn't get to spend a lot of time with his Dad when he was still alive. As a result, he mostly gravitated to Violet and had a bit more of an arm's length relationship with his father.
+After Colin was horsewhipped by his dad in the stables (canon according to book lore), he never used a flogger with a horse again
+Colin knew about Eloise's dealings at the printer shop and he supported her
+Colin visits Edmund's grave the least out of all his siblings
+Colin's middle name is Christopher
+Of all the siblings, Colin has the best spice tolerance
+Colin lost a baby tooth in a fist fight with another boy at Eton whilst he was going through grief over losing his father. Anthony had to pay extra to keep Colin at the school
+Fran once cut his hair so unevenly in a makeover that they had to concoct a plot of how he got tree sap in it to keep her out of trouble
+Colin used to help Violet make the paper birthday crowns and was very adept at folding. Colin would also help her when they were spinning thread and yarn from sheering the sheep. He spent a lot of time with his hands out for Violet to wrap skeins around. He always had the softest hands because of the lanolin and got made fun of for it by some of the boys at Eton
+Colin's favorite flower is a morning glory. he likes how they look like colorful little trumpets
+After his growth spurt, when he got into an argument with Anthony, he said 'Are you just mad because I have the high ground?' and got an earful about being disrespectful
+Colin was a particularly surly teenager from the ages of 16 to 17 in particular
+Colin's favorite passtime he spent with his dad was feeding ducks at the pond at Aubrey Hall. He named every single one of them
+Colin hates shooting and hunting, and frankly, he's not very good at it
+Colin's unconventional talents include: whistling whole songs, picking the best blackberries in the summer, and somehow having every single cat ever adore him despite the fact that he's very much allergic
+Colin is ticklish
+Colin is a gold medal hair braider and was in high demand amongst his sisters for night time hair styles when their governess and nanny would wind them too tight

OKAY I FINALLY WATCHED GRAVITY FALLS. TEN YEARS LATE I KNOW. i was expecting to have to power through a bunch of boring kid stuff to get to the actual interesting drama and i was so so wrong i locked tf in and finished it in two days. it's so good what the actual fuck. heres my thoughts on the main characters
mabel: when i was the actual target audience for this show i saw a bit of mabel while flipping through disney XD and i immediately concluded that she was annoying af and i would never watch this show because of her. i would like to repent for this evil evil take by flinging myself belly down onto shattered glass. MABEL MY BABY GIRL...if they ever put her in another Situation or Scenario ill kill someone fr. she's a little too selfish and a little too pushy sure but so genuinely KIND and SWEET and so willing to make a fool of herself to pull her dumb brother out of his head. that unicorn doesn't know jack i hope she gets everything she wants forever
dipper: if i had watched gf as a kid i would have been in very real danger of naming myself after this guy (which doesn't even work bc im not nearly as cool as him!! the woodland creatures would have eaten my ass). it would've been so easy to give him a generic gaining confidence arc but he is never a coward when it really matters and i think that's great. he may not be able to talk to a girl but he can and will beat a gnome to death with a shovel for touching his sister!!! also yeah he is extremely transgender.
stan: OUUUUUGH. STARTS SOBBING. stanley pines the man that you are. i assumed at first that his plot would be about Learning To Love but no he is 100% on board with being the world's best grunkle from minute one. he definitely fucks up sometimes (putting waddles outside comes to mind as does. The Other Thing) but he always tries his very best to fix it. every action he takes just oozes with care for his family. every time i thought he had a motivation that wasn't his family they pulled the rug out from under me and revealed that it was, in fact, just his family again. he would give everything for them. AND HE LITERALLY DOES??? im gonna vomit. he hand stitched fishing hats 😭😭😭
wendy: definitely my least favorite of the main cast im sorry wendyheads...i just feel like there isn't a lot to get into here. every time they imply there's something more going on with her or her family they just snap her right back into The Coolest Girl In The World which might be fun but it's not that interesting.
soos: SOOS MY FRIEND SOOS!!!! i wobbled on him during the middle of the show bc i felt like they were making him Genuinely Dumb instead of just a good babysitter but they pulled his characterization back around by the end i think. he is like me in that he would also die for the mystery twins without hesitation or regret 💖. a lesser show would've been really mean about soos but gf is BASED and SOOSPILLED so he gets what he deserves. he does not have to lose weight or drop his "childish" interests or stop living with his grandma to WIN AT LIFE. awesome girlfriend! dream job! big house! stan using that boat to hunt down his bio dad and kill him, probably!
ford: ill be honest and admit i hated this guy at first but eventually i learned to live laugh love about his massive incredibly fragile ego ruining everything all the time and now i am a big ford enjoyer. what a FREAK oh my god. he believed his journals to be capable of destroying the world and still refused to destroy them because they're His Life's Work????? he had the painfully obvious option to tell bill he didn't know the equation and stall for time and chose instead to say that OBVIOUSLY he knows it he's the SMARTEST MAN ALIVE he's just not TELLING YOU 😤 and then immediately got tortured????? he spent most of his screentime projecting his relationship issues onto an Actual Child?????????? he needs to go to therapy and learn he's not the main character of the universe but he will not be doing that so i can only hope the boat fixes him. if i was stanley i'd've fed him to the shapeshifter.
bill: SIGH. YES OKAY HE'S MY FAVORITE. I KNOW I'M FUCKING PREDICTABLE DON'T @ ME. i spent 90% of his screentime cracking up and the other 10% making Homosexual Detection Eyebrows at my brother! the ideal ratio!!!!! i can't wait to get my hands on the book so i can poor little meowmeow him more efficiently. i knew i was saving that barnes & noble gift card for something important.

3 caught my eye:
Chapter 28 Bitter Reunion
Chapter 36 Hearthside Chat
And the one I’m most interested in because my fluffy romantic heart is hoping for some sweet zelink:
Chapter 63 You’re My Hero
Thank you for the ask @mistresslrigtar! A big spread! I'll try to do them all justice.
Overworld Chapter 28 - Bitter Reunion
This chapter is following Link and Marela as they're headed to Zora's Domain to get the Zora's Armor that Marela made when she was younger so Link can proceed to Nayru's Temple. It follows a conversation in the previous chapter, Overworld Chapter 27 - Ebb & Flow, that Link and Marela had about some of their respective backstory stuff, but Marela's is more relevant to this chapter as it's the first time she's been back to Zora's Domain in a while and this meeting will require her speaking to her aunt and ambassador of the Hyrulean Zora, Natuma.
It goes. About as well as expected.
There are other beats in this chapter, like some teases at Link's past and the acquisition of the Zora's Armor itself, but the conversation with Natuma is the big beat of the chapter. It's very much Marela overcoming her fears to help with the quest, but also as a beat for herself in leaving behind her past as both a former priestess apprentice and as a child of nobility bound by station. And it highlights part of her skillset to the team, and that is as Zelda's chief socialite and gossip starter. Marela negotiates the Armor out from Natuma by using status against her. And it's her particular cunning that makes her such an asset to the team!
Overworld Chapter 36 - Hearthside Chat
Jumping ahead to the Din's Temple arc, it is at this point that Zelda is traveling with the main party for a bit so she can see one of the temples firsthand. Following some building tension between the princess and hero, the party stops in an inn beneath Death Mountain to rest since it's too dark to continue on that night.
What proceeds is a fireside chat with the inn's keepers, Khadla and Constant, around a meal that Link makes for the group. Some preview at the troubles in the region, questions about the two innkeepers, and Link definitely not getting flustered about Zelda complimenting his cooking. Sorry, Robin, we're in disguise. Man nearly chokes himself shoveling a rice ball in his mouth to avoid thanking her properly.
And then he goes and sticks his foot in his mouth with that end bit.
This was a really cozy chapter to write! Good food, warm atmosphere (proximity to volcano not included), cute warm fuzzies with the duo as their dancing around totally not accepting that they like each other. It also managed to give me the set up for a "jelly donut" joke, which is always a win. The name then is very literal in this case, they are chatting around a hearth. But a good comfort food chapter none the less!
Overworld Chapter 63 - You're My Hero
Unfortunately, not Zelink. But yes for sentimental absolutely! This chapter is when Link finally gets to tell his family about being the Hero, both the act and, now that he's drawn the Master Sword, the truth. It is a recovery chapter from Overworld Chapter 54 - Uprooted for him too, a first attempt on this conversation that goes terribly wrong and leads to a fight between him and his father when Link can't explain what happened and what the act was.
The name was picked for Floan, Link's sister, who is over the moon about the news because she's 10 and her brother's the Hero and that's the coolest thing since ever. Lance, his dad, on the other hand, is having I think a very real parental reaction (or as best as I could emulate) to finding out his son is tasked with the very dangerous (and not necessarily survivable) task of saving the world. And considering the terms in which he found out, very mixed emotions on it.
Floan and Lance are integral to MoaH as motivators for Link. They're the reason why, even after Link is actually for realsies proven to be the Hero and it's not just an act, they chose to keep the story going to keep the two identities separate. His family are just people. Lance is a retired mercenary, disabled and working as a florist. Floan's ten. They can't respond to the world in the same way Link or his companions can, and they're part of what he's fighting for to protect. The Zelink in MoaH is a fun plotline, and they absolutely defend each other. But his family was there first and they remain a core of who he is. He needed them to know.
Thank you again for the ask!

Human edition!
🚁Agent Fowler:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/21174f8864d8827cedadacfc69dd44a6/4cf43ebcf49d5536-56/s540x810/6df4fc5ad6099fb52c9f2020e578999abaa09dea.jpg)
🚁Father Caregiver!
🚁Kind of confused at first, but Lord help you if you insult any little/pet in his care.
🚁Very good at setting up routines for littles who benefit from it.
🚁He finds the biggest stuffed animals in existence bc his Gramma showered him with toys as a kid and he'd be damned if his kiddos didn't deserve to be spoiled too! (Even if said kiddos are 70+ feet tall)
🚁The kind of CG who loves to watch movies with the little ones, he just has to remember that horror movies probably aren't good for regressed kiddos.
🏥June Darby
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/86aa3ebcfc6349d29e16463bfb08c45f/4cf43ebcf49d5536-c6/s540x810/3a5257384b2bd064d66475bef136237dea621380.jpg)
🏥Mama Caregiver!
🏥Total doting Mama: cute nicknames, gentle tones, forehead kisses, the whole nine yards! Raising Jack was a hard time for her since her husband left, so reliving motherhood is very healing for her (similar to Ratchet)
🏥Very good at dealing with meltdowns, June has a very soothing presence that helps to calm any overwhelmed or upset kiddo.
🏥Tag teams with Ratchet to keep little ones safe; she may be small, but all she has to do is say something and they instantly stop.
🏥Has nicknames for everyone, and they love it! She makes each one unique to them.
🏍️Jack Darby:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/925971be90825e8f762238189bcce6a8/4cf43ebcf49d5536-43/s540x810/6cedc22c6ed8b3ea2909f8f145e4cfa6fe4c7842.jpg)
🏍️Big brother caregiver!
🏍️Like Fowler, a bit confused, but if it helps Arcee feel happy and safe, he's all for it!
🏍️He cares deeply for Arcee as his partner and friend, but absolutely adores her when small!
🏍️He becomes Arcee's official caregiver rather quickly, and Jack encourages Arcee to talk about her regression to help her feel more comfortable with it.
🏍️Like his mom, uses a lot of nicknames; he calls Arcee Putty Tat(and immediately got her hooked on Looney Toons bc she had no idea what it meant.)
🏍️He takes care of the other little ones as well, and is good at talking down an upset kiddo. He also makes amazing snacks for those that eat!
🎸Miko Nakadai:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a16f1bc0b09d3c62cffc9d7f43ff66a3/4cf43ebcf49d5536-82/s400x600/ad8ff2e0cbd222d25e4756e30052b381aeee2514.jpg)
🎸 Caregiver/little sister regressor! (Age range: 5-9)
🎸She was absolutely all for the whole regression thing; she thinks Wheeljack being a wolf regressor is the coolest thing!
🎸At first she was only a caregiver, but found that she really enjoyed slipping into that smaller headspace. She had a lot of expectations laid on her as a kid, so being able to just relax and be a kid is a nice feeling.
🎸If you thought she was hyper as a big kid, look out! Little Miko is a calm and sweet baby one moment, then a ball of energy the next.
🎸Miko is definitely the "don't tell your mama about this" type of caregiver. Mama Bear Ratchet always finds out though. She still doesn't know how.
🎸She absolutely has to be near Bulkhead when little. Miko still has nightmares of the incident with them getting trapped in the abandoned mine (which she hasn't told anyone), and if Bulkhead isn't in her line of sight there WILL be a meltdown.
💻Raf Esquivel:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/293a8c4abe8785b973bff0afd51b8932/4cf43ebcf49d5536-d0/s540x810/1da6894a729cc171963a8d7c932399de55d08fe3.jpg)
💻Toddler regressor!
💻Since he has a big family, Raf often doesn't get any exclusive attention from his parents. Because of this, he enjoys being little at base and just being cuddled and loved.
💻 Bumblebee acts as a big brother for Raf, as usual. This dynamic is magnified when they're both regressed.
💻He actually doesn't like using the computer when small, he prefers to color or play with the toys they stashed at base.
💻 Nobody can say no to him; if he puts his arms up to anyone, they're immediately scooping him up. He most often goes to Miko(because she spins him around to make him giggle) and Ratchet(because he feels so small and safe when Ratchet cradles him close)
💻It's hard to understand Optimus because he has a difficult time talking when small, but Raf is one of the few besides Ratchet who can understand him. Because of reasons, no one really questions it.
Nicknames:
🚁Agent Fowler: Flower (an adorable mispronunciation by OP), Dad, Papa Bear.
🏥June Darby: Mom, Mama.
🏍️Jack: Jackie, Bro, Big Bro.
🎸Miko: Sis, Little Monkey, Wild Child, Rockstar.
💻Raf: Baby Boy, Honey, Sweetspark (courtesy of Ratchet)
Hope you enjoyed these, Decepticons next!

FOP: A New Wish e24-30
woooooo more FOP! we got so many things going on, so let's get down to business
Episode 24: The Treble with Rivals
there are schools that have band and orchestra? i thought they were the same thing, just if it was bigger it got labeled orchestra. weird.
there's a Nmusic Phairy...why didn't you run Fairy Idol? are you actually a Muse?? that would explain the stupid spellings...but those are fairy wings...
and wait, isn't wishing for musical talent to do at an audition technically participating in a competition...not that we follow that rule much these days
so the difference between Band and Orchestra seems to be that one is strings and one is wind and brass based...despite orchestra having winds and brass sections
also what school thinks it's a good idea to give children only 1 week of practice before putting on a concert??
ooo musical fae wood.
again why is band vs orchestra a thing?? everything in band is in orchestra normally; is it because orchestra is harder to get into so the left overs get band then? that would make sense i guess...
you know, i'm kind of sad there was no Jets vs Sharks musical number this episode given that it is two musical groups/gangs fighting one another
oh hey it's older brother; makes sense since he's featured next episode. hurray continuity!
so...i think i got too focused on an insignificant detail this episode, but to be fair there wasn't much to this one. not bad, but not one of the stronger stories
Episode 25: Rattleconda Racers
ooo we finally meet the older brother!
haha little sister is jealous of big brother's new girlfriend. classic.
ah the poorly worded unintended wish. also classic.
wonder if Antony thinks he's dreaming right now, because he's far too nonchalant about this
heh Wanda getting too deep into the RP
geeze this is the second rough punk lady of the series
oh NOW it's against eth rules to use magic to cheat huh? yup typical Da Rules logic. but wishing yourself out as a no-go is a classic for the trapped in the board game story, so...
dawwww sweet sibling moment. and very good story beat; so far yeah Hazel's been learning to deal with all eth changes and has adapted well, but she's a kid so of course when her brother is back she reverts only to realize that things are different and even she is different. good story telling.
oh he just thought he was imagining everything, mk
overall, very classic setup and payoff, but it worked very well. good story!
Episode 26: Dig a Little Deeper
subterranean rock monsters huh? we've had those before...like twice (Engine Blocked and The Big Fairy Share Scare i think)...hm...
oh hey Alec Schwimmer is the writer??
oh right, Hazel likes rocks...we haven't touched that since e1 i think
yeah Dev with his O-pair drones and talks of cooperate takeover, that's totally Goblin like...
coolest, shiniest, and out of this world rock...is it a Wonderstone???? and a different universe??? O.o????
Cosmo's argued with his echo before, hasn't he?
another lost wand plot? uhg...i guess it's the least egregious sin they could pull, but still, we just had one of those with the FNaF episode
oh it's a rockman not a moleman...which the synopsis did say, so why is that a surprise to me??
threatening to drop the heroine in lava. heh. and Hazel nerd correcting lol. love you girl. but none of the rockmen look like they're made of laps lazuli (i too am a bit of a rock nerd girl)
oh that triangle one was bluish, i guess they could be lapis
oh and a last second reminder that there's Peri around
so this was an interesting one. technically low magic, and Hazel got to nerd out. i liked it
Episode 27: Operation Birthday Takeback
the return of Vicky! also, nice that we're focusing on a birthday that isn't the main protagonist first; didn't we do that in the original...Tootie's birthday was established before Tim's...in s0 and the main series...and Vicky was the problem in both of those too....huh...
oo this is also a double (full 22 min) episode. fun!
awww Dev, your dad sucks. but still good highlighting how he treats Peri; he thinks Peri should know what he needs/wants since the O-pair drones are programed to do that PLUS the fact that Dev doesn't even know what he wants
adult Vicky...has the earring from her 18 year old self in Channel Chasers...but she doesn't look like she should be in her 40s (oh eye bags, yeah sure that's 40s uhuh)...and being a birthday performer?? that's not an occupation i ever thought she'd had
CHIP SKYLARK!!! and if it was an oldie hit that Jazmine's mother listened to, then yeah it's gotta be 20 years in the future
ok, her using child slave labor does track, but as a party performer? that sounds more like a daycare setup...
we are referencing Nectar of the Odds! so yeah it's very telling that Dale is THAT inattentive if he'd hire Vicky with that being their history
the Dale-cave is funny and so over the top, not gonna lie. but oh yeah, Dale is the new Crocker, and he has the funds to do that (and huh, dad obsessing over the best friend...the Dimmadomes are the Osborns...ok Superverse Dev is a Green Goblin analog)
Dev nearly spilled the beans! but then again he answered the door with Peri not knowing it was Hazel so...not surprising (Foop returns later; does Dev loose Peri and Foop swoops in to take over??). yet he could probably get away with claiming he was a new advanced O-pair drone if he had to
commercial break; there's a commercial for NW and there were clips i don't recognize?? punk adult Hazel?? O.o?? excite! (yet again with the punk ladies; is this going to be a recurring thing?? is that a bad thing?)
why are you guys writing on his white board thing?? even Peri realizes this is a bad idea
heh the under the table graffiti; this show puts cute little details in the environment so well
ICKY VICKY SONG REVENGE MONTAGE TIME!!!
Chinfinity War poster in Dev's room! and is that baby Poof as Darth Maul in the other poster?? O.o i know he dressed like that before, but that feels super random
yeah get Dev a lemonade, he can't have a milkshake remember
awww Dev saved Hazel, so sweet...to bad a third act breakup is happening again
the fairies finally learn that Vicky is here, and a Timmy name drop! but Peri's reaction is actually kinda gold lol
Vicky kissing up the perceived parents, yup. and hey Peri did turn into an O-pair drone. and a coupled decades, so yup 20 years minimum
and here comes the third act breakup. but very interesting that he thinks she manipulated him...because that's all anyone has ever done to him
ok we mentioned 2001 (when the series proper started), and if this is set in real time, it's 2024 so that's 23 years...ok so yeah, NW is 20 years after the original series up to at least season 7 (since that's when Foop appeared). we are slowly figuring out the timeline folks!!
awww Peri is trying. and Dev once again self sabotages himself because he doesn't know how to cope (so that's why Foop comes later, he wished Peri away). i gotta say, i think Dev might be the best character
this was practically a perfect episode. low magic, but the problem wasn't caused by magic. it's very character heavy, but deep in lore. and it advances the central plot points. A++ team!!
Episode 28: Potazal Pohtahzal
weird name, but ok. also the return of Mother Nature huh? is this yet another redesign (spoilers: yes it is)
Sparky?? "when did we get a dog"??? O.o!!! nonononononononono!!!!!!! oh wait it's the trash can she's mak pretending, ok, that's safe. DO NOT give me a heart attack like that show!!
ok so the wish of the day is unlimited french fries. so...this is Just Desserts light, since only she's getting them not the whole world, and it's about eating only 1 food type instead of a healthy balance
oh a musical number, ok i guess
oh hey a map!!! and not a very...correctly cut up map...so don't know how accurate this is, but it looks like Dimmadelphia is in Illinois...yeah this isn't a good map, i don't seem to exist on it so *shrugs*
Da Rules says you talk to Mother Nature about when your godkid turns into a food item huh? how does that make sense?
and yup new redesign for Mother Nature. not a terrible one i'll give, much better than the others so far (Cupid, Father time)
of course she'd go and eat the source potato. so to fix it she's...going to chop herself up??? O.O!!! SHOW!! child dismemberment??? of course it wouldn't happen, but still! i love you
and we just grow a new one and everything is fixed. that's fine
the moral of the story is moderation and sharing and eating properly
the trash can actually barked/talked....no, nopenopenopenopenope, idc if it was just a button gag, nope. we do not want (all of) s9 to be canon to this timeline. no
Episode 29: The Haunting of Wells House
lol another horror movie parody title, nice. also Marcus focused, and ghost focused, ok, i'm into it (can't be scarier than them threating to canonize Sparky last episode after all)
Hazel filming youtube videos with her dad. cute.
daww i was almost hoping the scary movie Cosmo and Wanda was gonna give them would be the one from Timmy's 2-D House of Horror about the haunted volcano. but zombie fairies is cool too i guess....we did have a zombie plague earlier in eth season after all...
oh haunted fairy video tape. fun
and now we're a ghost hunting show, even in the night vision green
i like the detail that Ghost Pepper (heh the multi level puns of that name, great job) has limbs that disconnect
HA! Jorgen's a priest to perform an exorcist. that's great, and funny, especially in his camo smock
does Jorgen have a whole haunted collection of VHS tapes?? wut?
so this one was alright. it was a quick one and done romp.
Episode 30: Best of Luck
the return of Foop!! or, Irep now...why would he stick with the mirrored name instead of changing to Anti-Peri? as a baby, that's silly, but ok sure, especially since Poof changed his name as an adult, maybe that's normal so the Anti-faries do similar. and c'mon, Anti-Peri sounds like Anti-fairy even...maybe that's why they didn't do it? and also, his full name is Periwinkle, so it should be...an unpronounceable mess backwards...why not just Anti-Peri??? meh, oh well, lets just see how this goes i guess.
who's hands are on the title card?
oh NOW we are siting Da Rules about taking a competition prize. also, peri came back after being wished away? mk, won't argue that. but yeah Da Rules prevent chaos, thus why the djinn are more annoying. but i get it, Dev's annoyed by Da Rules, giving the opening for Irep to arrive
and arrive he does...and looks like an idiot being a block head. Peri didn't stay a ball, despite circular heads being a thing.
wait when did that calendar start...it's currently May huh? interesting...why were orchestra/band tryouts in the middle of the school year? or should that have been an earlier episode, since there was no clear evidence of Peri to time stamp it...but there was glasses-less Dev...still, this means that summer break is getting close, so interesting...also means that Anthony's visit would've probably been spring break, so again why was band/orchestra tryouts in the middle of the school year??? if it was one or the other maybe, implying that they share the same class timeslot so it's a half year program, thus the kids that play instruments in both go full year-why am i STILL hung up on that??? (it's like when i got stuck on e1 of BNHA about how the goo guy's volume should've exceeded the soda bottles and was his brain a thing was every cell of his body sentient...) MOVING ON!
wow i think this is the first time Da Rules has stated that they can't kill anyone with magic. that's kinda weird...especially since Marrianne did do that (by starting WWI)...oh maybe she's the godchild that made that a rule, ok i can buy that
also you guys have dealt with Anti-fairies before, why wasn't that a go to idea?
this rock paper scissor game has move moves than the Big Bang one, geeze
dawww Dev lashing out because he's sad and falling back to his old ways
oh hey we're following the rule about "when a fairy quits any magical being can fill in"...just like Fairy Idol where another blue chaos entity took over...i wonder if we'll get genies in this series
oh Jorgen swoops in to save the day! because no 2 weeks notice...that was never a thing before...dumb, but oh well, we didn't want Irep to stay around.
dawww Dev still lashing out even as Hazel tries to extend the olive branch. and ooo he's gonna be researching Anti-fairies...he gonna break out Irep isn't he....ANTI-FAIRY PLAUGE UPON THE WORLD!
so hey good setup for a future plot point i hope! and again, it does make logical sense to evolve things in that direction. very fun!!
oooo next week says there's an episode with multiverse stuff??? exciting! still loving the show, keep it up!!

I know it wouldn't make sense timeline wise since (I'm assuming) Kaku takes Little Lucky when he first goes to inspect The Merry, so she wouldn't have a chance to know about Usopp getting beat up. But I just died at the thought of Franky finally managing to make it to CP-9's train car and the first thing he gets is an angry four year old who wants to get payback for her friend.
Also, hear me out on this, but have you ever considered a strays au but with Little Lucky? The utter chaos that she and Lizard could cause just from people underestimating them alone is endless. Plus, I think it'd be really cute and sweet for Doll to get to be around someone younger and help ensure their childhood is a happier and healthier one than her own. And neither her or Lizard had friends their own age growing up, I'm crying at how precious it could be for them to play with a little kid; it might be awkward and unnatural at first, but of course Luffy jumps in and everyone's having fun and laughing in less than a minute.
Little Lucky suddenly looking up to Lizard more because she bit a dude's fingers off is also just hilarious to me. Kaku is just trying to slowly cover her eyes because his paternal instincts say, "Hey, maybe this amount of bloodshed and dismemberment isn't the best thing for a small child to witness." Said small child later boasting to Zoro about how Lizard must be stronger than him because, "she doesn't even need a sword to hurt people with her mouth!" Spandam is sorely mistaken if he thinks Fukuro is going to be the only one repeating that story 😂
Kaku does take her when he goes to survey the Going Merry, but Luffy is able to get her back after breaking in to the Galley-La main building, so she does get a chance to find out about what happened. It might be more upsetting this way because she doesn't get a chance to say goodbye to Usopp and she's mad at everyone involved for not finding a way to fix it. Friends are supposed to be able to talk things out! How did it get this bad?!
She spends the duration of the ride to Enies Lobby in Rocketman yelling at the Franky Family and trying to throw hands with them, and when she finally gets to Franky it is on SIGHT. He can't get a word in edgewise without being pelted with rocks from her slingshot or getting kicked and stomped on.
On a similar note, she's with Luffy and Chopper in not being able to tell who Sogeking is. She's sadly telling him how much he reminds her of her friend Usopp while wishing she could see him again because she never even got to say goodbye. It takes everything he has not to out himself, especially when she says she would upgrade him to 'best friend' status if he came back.
Little Lucky in the Strays AU would be so cute oh my god
Lizard is going through intense emotional turmoil upon realizing that there was a child with the Straw Hats and that her father probably would have killed her along with everyone else (he wouldn't have, having a child softened him a bit). Lizard is trying to avoid her because she feels guilty, but Lil Lucky follows her around like a duckling because 'oh new friend!'
She was already getting fond of Lil Lucky by the time they got to Skypeia, but after the Enel incident they are inseparable. Lizard is her personal body guard now, and that quickly grows into her taking on a big sister role. Lucky thinks Lizard is the coolest and always cheers her on when she's committing acts of unspeakable violence.
Doll finds Lil Lucky to be the easiest person to interact with right after joining. Little kids don't notice how awkward she is around people, so she's less self conscious. Doll loves to play with her and indulge in normal childhood things that she didn't get to do growing up.

I was in a mood when I wrote this 😂 Ya'll getting angst today! Word Count: 1,929 GIF by: @cowboyshit
Disclaimers: Mention of blood (once), mild cursing, mention of losing virginity, angst, angst and more angst 😂 Read at your own discretion..
From the moment your mother told your brother that he was getting a baby sister, he was less than thrilled. “Ugh, why does it have to be a girl? Girls suck! Can’t we trade her in for a brother instead?” Adam whined. Your mother explained to him that wasn’t how things worked, and throughout her pregnancy Adam remained disinterested the whole time. That was, until he held you for the first time after you were born. Something inside him changed when he looked at you in his arms, so tiny and sweet, realizing from that moment on that he would do anything for you. He was your fierce protector now, a responsibility he didn’t take lightly. He whispered in your tiny little ear that day and made a promise to you that he would always be there for you no matter what, never letting anything or anyone hurt you, even when you would inevitably annoy him. Adam kept good on his word as the years went by, shielding you from all things bad and always keeping a close eye on you. When you were 3, some kid took a toy from you while you were playing in the sandbox, Adam interjecting immediately and getting the toy back for you. He dumped a bucket of sand on the thief’s head, doing what he had to to dry his baby sister’s tears. You were in awe of your big brother, always thinking the world of him and through your eyes he was a real-life superhero!
The 6-year age gap between you and Adam didn’t start to show until he was twelve and you were six. You were the typical younger sibling, always following him around and wanting to be included in whatever he was doing, annoying him on purpose and smiling when you got him in trouble with your mother when he wasn’t letting you get your way. One thing you two bonded over was professional wrestling! He always used you as his practice dummy for any new moves he wanted to try out, and you thought it was the coolest thing! There were a few times where being a crash dummy wasn’t so fun though. One memory that you’ll never forget is the time his elbow connected with your mouth when he botched a move, leaving your teeth a bloody mess. Your mother was furious when he told her he chipped your tooth! She lectured him for a good 45 minutes that night, informing him that your days as a test dummy were over. Did either of you listen to her though? Of course not! You still held Royal Rumbles against each other whenever she wasn’t home. Adam found a new wrestling partner when the new kid in town was enrolled at the same school he went to. He was the same age as him, a little shorter, and shyer than Adam was. Adam and the new kid hit it off right away when they connected over their mutual love for professional wrestling, becoming inseparable after a short amount of time. After school one day Adam had invited his new friend over to your house, eventually introducing you to him when you wouldn’t stop begging. “Y/N, this is Christian. Christian, this is Y/N,” Adam said flatly. Little did he know at the time that informal introduction would change the course of your lives forever.
Adam and Christian were becoming a household name in the wrestling business. They were the hottest tag team around! The two of them were traveling the world, getting to do what they loved, and you had just graduated from college embarking on your own journey. Adam came home to celebrate your recent accomplishment, Christian tagging along with him. You hadn’t really kept tabs on Christian since your paths had taken you in different directions. You only knew bits and pieces of things about him that Adam told you randomly when you talked on the phone, the latest news being Christian’s engagement to a beautiful blonde supermodel. A pang of jealousy and a tinge of sadness washed over you when Adam told you about it, even though you knew it was ridiculous for you to feel that way. As kids you and Christian rarely got along and Adam had to play referee between you two all the time. Christian liked to push your buttons and you liked pushing his in return. Normally you held your own whenever Christian purposely started in on something, until one night he took things too far and said some hurtful things to you and making you cry. When Adam caught wind of the situation, rage consumed him when he saw the tears sliding down your cheeks. “Hey, dumbass! What the hell did you say to my sister?” he shouted mere inches from Christian’s face. It took Adam threatening to beat Christian’s ass for him to apologize to you, making him promise that he would never make you cry again.
People came in waves at your graduation party your mother begged you to let her throw for you. She had gone all out with every detail of the party! You mingled with guests most of the evening, rarely having a moment to yourself. When you were all peopled out, you snuck out the back door of the house and went to your favorite childhood hiding place to catch your breath. The old swing still creaked as you glided back and forth, interrupting the silence of the night whenever the chain would catch. You loved the way the stars reflected off the pond, the sound of the crickets chirping echoing through the air, and the smell of freshly cut grass as it danced around your nose. This place was your little slice of Heaven tucked away behind large bushes and small trees, usually remaining unseen by those that didn’t know it existed. You were lost in thought when a familiar voice made you jump, “Hey, Y/N. It’s…been a long time.” Christian stood next to the swing, staring ahead only speaking again when he asked if he could join you. “What are you doing here, Christian?” you asked in return. “I figured you would be out here when your mother told Adam you had stepped outside for a minute. Our plane just landed about an hour ago. Adam drove like a madman to get us here before the party was over. He’s excited to see you.” He explained. “Then why didn’t he come to get me?” Your words came out a little harsher than you meant them to, immediately wishing you could go back and change your tone. Adam’s voice carried through the trees as he called out for you, so you knew your time alone with Christian was limited.
The moonlight illuminated his handsome features, making his ocean blue eyes sparkle when he looked over at you. He slid his hand across the seat of the swing, brushing his pinky against yours making you jerk it away. “Christian…” fell from your lips as a warning, but you knew it didn’t have any real threat behind it. The two of you were the only ones that knew about the things that happened between you nearly 2 years ago. Feelings had grown between you one summer when you were home from college and Adam and Christian weren’t quite as popular as they are now, so they were home more often. You and Christian spent a lot of time together that summer, sneaking around doing whatever you could to not bring any attention to yourselves and your growing feelings for one another. Adam would’ve killed Christian if he ever knew what really went on that summer. He wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing his best friend took his baby sister’s virginity. Christian was smitten with you, and you couldn’t get enough of him either! Time went by at warped speed and before either of you knew it, summer was coming to an end. You knew you had to return to school, and Christian had a choice to make, his career or you. You never gave him an ultimatum; you aren’t that kind of person. His choice was an unfortunate decision that had to be made due to the circumstances that surround both of you. Deep in your heart you hoped that he would choose you, but your head knew it wasn’t possible. The last night you and Christian spent together was one you would never forget because it held a special place in your memory bank. He made love to you under the stars, taking his time and savoring every moment spent skin on skin with you. His touches from that night still lingered on your body to this day.
“Y/N! Are you out here?” Adam’s voice snapped you back into reality the closer it got. “I have to go,” you murmured as you stood abruptly. Christian grabbed hold of your hand, stopping you in your tracks when the warmth of his skin covered yours. “Wait, Y/N! I didn’t come out here to upset you, I-I’m not sure why I came to find you instead of Adam. I’m not sure what I’m doing anymore,” Christian was exasperated by the time he finished talking. You kept your guard up against Christian because you knew if you didn’t, you would fall under his spell again and your heart just couldn’t take anymore hurt caused by him. Your voice was now elevated, surely bringing attention to your whereabouts as you laid into Christian, “I don’t know why you came out here either! There’s nothing to be said. There’s nothing between us anymore. There is no us in the first place! You’re engaged Christian! We haven’t even talked to each other in over a year. Just let me go, Christian. You have to let me go!” He tried to say something else, but Adam suddenly appeared behind you. “Everything okay sis?” he asked, his voice full of concern. You swallowed hard and did your best to retract the tears that threatened to spill over before responding, “Yes, yep! All good! How are you? It’s so good to see you!” Adam picked you up and swung you around while you hugged his neck tightly. When you were steady on your feet after he put you down, you made up an excuse to get as far away from Christian as you could, “I better get back to the party, I think there was someone mother wanted me to meet. I’ll see you inside and we’ll catch up later, okay?” You hurried away, not even giving Christian or Adam a second glance.
Suspicion was written all over Adam’s face after you went back inside leaving him and Christian alone together. His words were laced with suspicion also when he asked, “What the hell was that about man? Something happen between you two?” Christian remained quiet as he watched you disappear into the trees, leaving him standing in the very spot he left you just 2 summers ago. The rest of the night you avoided Christian at every turn, pretending he didn’t even exist. You knew Adam and Christian would be leaving in the morning and you knew it would be a long time before you would see either of them again. You were able to compose yourself long enough to get through the rest of your party, but you broke down in tears once you were behind closed doors. It looks like Christian broke the promise he made to your brother. He made you cry again.
