Thinking about the lich fight ("fight") from my first dnd campaign..... Ouagh
#the sheer DESPERATION i felt aljsoansos#but ultimately i came through as the plan guy and my characters dad DID NOT DIE#barely#he was not supposed to survive the lich encounter but (1) dm rolled low on disintegrate (2) i was second in initiative#get fucked bone boy#woke up and my brain decided it was time to reminisce again#you know who else woke up this morning#my characters dad#me during the final fight preshow: if anything happens to my dad im killing us all the bbeg is DYING#the summoning portal/bbeg: :) did someone say DAMAGE?#me when i hear my dad got injured: alright (pulls out the nuke ive had saved in my pocket)#ah. when forgetting you have a magic item makes it stronger#one of us DID die that time but i only enacted the plan with their permission#the traitor pc died. another pc died. the portal (and the bbeg inside) died. i got banished to the shadow realm#quill: :)#quill when you express harmful intent towards his adoptive father: (doom music plays)#man...... i love my dnd friends#wanna get back into ttrpg but i wanna try pathfinder except wow#way less going on for pathfinder vs dnd#(slams fists on table) I WANT MORE TTRPG FRIENDS AND GOOD TIMES!!!!
