Because I saw the rb and I'm always intrigued by this.... Do you have any specific thoughts on the greatest game of all time dqix; like the world, the story, the celestrians or anything that comes to mind??

Dragon Quest 9 is actually a very special game to me because it was one of my childhood games. It was probably my first encounter with a JRPG outside of Pokemon and I remember sinking hours into the game. I love the character customization and the gameplay was so much fun!! The class system was cool and new to me and I loved how you could play around with different spells and weapons. And also the boss fights were really fun? The designs were cool and I loved all the story missions attached to them.

Speaking of the story? I love it so much. It took me so long to beat the game because I remember little me getting stuck on the cat leopard general guy towards the end of the game, but hoo boy when I did finish it. Felt absolutely amazing. It has been a hot minute since I played though so a lot of the story is kinda vague to me now :[

But you know who I do remember? Greygnarl. Love that guy to death. His fight was so much fun and then riding on him to fight Barbarus?!! Easily my favorite cutscene I did cry at the end of it :[ Love that old man dragon so much I wish he could have stuck around longer
