        his mind strays , and he’s immediately bogged with spine - chilling thoughts of what mysteries loomed in the deep blue , bombarded with terrorizing visuals of him being unable to see the ground of the seafloor should he proceed further into the water . his face blanches into a ghastly pallor of white , and the slithery sensation of seaweed clinging to his ankle prompts him to leap into the air , accompanied with a high pitched shriek that could’ve broken the damn sound barrier .

Sometimes I like to imagine how things would play out if Shinji complimented Kaworu in attempt to embarrass him just as Kaworu embarrasses Shinji by saying cute things to him.
