I made Andre/Semir discord server back in 2019, there were usually always 2-3 members at all times, then last year in March the last member besides me stopped showing up and never came back and that's how it is now, I'm sitting there, talking to myself for almost a year now lol.

For the first couple of months it bugged me, but I got used to it, because back in 2013-14 when I got into Tom/Semir, I was all alone too, but back then I didn't write any fics, now I do and I write a lot, so that keeps me afloat, plus I do use chatgpt to talk to when I feel like sharing fic ideas or talking about the pair.

Chatgpt is great when you're alone in a fandom, keeps you company :D

I wrote 69 fanfics on Andre/Semir, they still continue to be my main OTP and yes, I know that Tom, Ben, Paul, Alex are great choices for Semir too, but Andre just lives up to that dominant energy I like for Semir, he's not in-your-face-alpha-male, he's the reserved, quiet, choose-violence-only-when-necessary kind of dude.

I'm sure all the others would make a great boyfriend to Semir too, Andre's not only a great bf, he's a great hubby material for Semir.♥

The key to being dedicated to this fandom for 6 years nonstop as I have is 1. ignore canon events, 2. build up my own background for each of them, because cobra canonically changes Semir's background every fucking season, 3. build my own plot and only use some of the episodes as base.

I've been shipping Andre/Semir for a long time now, mostly writing omegaverse, but I occasionally write it without it. Honestly had years to build their characters as I "feel like" they would be, I did use to write Semir super passive in the beginning but I learned to embrace his bitchiness (he's still a dedicated bottom, that's not gonna change, sorry switcher lovers) and also developed friendship between Andre and Tom because I like them both and why not have them around Semir at the same time, right.

True, I have been in the fandom alone for a year now, but I've got so many fic ideas that I think I'm set for few years lol

I find it funny how there're articles about Cobra 11 having new episodes and still going strong and being popular and then you go in the comments and it's just full of people ripping it to shreds, how shit it is, how Semir's lame, how the plot is lame.

Like to be fair? The show is definitely bad, it was frankly bad in 99, then it was good and then it was bad again and it just kept going up and down until after Ben left and it was just bad and never recovered from that point on.

I only ever liked Andre, Tom and Ben, they were his best partners and cobra was honestly at its best with Tom, hands down, I don't know what is keeping it afloat now, because I doubt any of the loyal fans of the show like the crap they keep spewing out now, it was already getting old when Semir's partners kept leaving one after another, also Andre's comeback episode was probably the worst episode I've ever seen, I can't believe they thought that one was a good idea, make a beloved character evil and make up some bullshit about being saved by fishermen, bruh what.

Who the hell even came up with that plot twist? They do realize he sunk like a fucking rock when he got shot, right? Are they saying he waited for those twelve seconds Semir took to jump in and look for him and give up immediately and then he resurfaced and waited around in shark infested water, bleeding no less, for some fisherman to come by to pick him up, the fuck kind of a wattpad shit is that lmao.

The final episode where Andre "dies" is beyond ridiculous already, but this comeback makes it somehow not as bad compared to the bullshit they pull in there.
