pairing : neohuman!lee eun hyuk x soldier!reader
synopsis : two of the survivors found a neohuman with scarred faced.
warnings : lowercase. not proofread. long story
a/n : tbh, kind of disappointed with the last season but it's still good. this will probably have part 2, so stay tuned !
"seokchan! seo jin! yong seok! sergeant kim!" you called out for your companions. you had just finished killing a monster somewhere in the bureau after getting separated from them.
suddenly, you heard footsteps nearby. you quickly closed your mouth and hid.
peeking a little, you saw a group of people with dr. lim marching. you held your breath and leaned against the wall, trying to hide your presence.
sensing them leave, you quickly went to where they came from.
there, you found tons of seemingly dead monsters and across from them, two unconscious soldiers. you ran to them and found seokchan and sergeant kim.
placing your fingers on their necks, you sobbed when you felt no pulse from seokchan.
while waiting for sergeant kim to wake up, you went around the lab and retrieved the dog tags of your dead co-soldiers.
as you returned to sergeant kim, you saw him trying to stand.
"sergeant kim!" you called, helping him up.
"you're alive," he said, pulling you into his arms as you both grieved.
attempting to leave the place as soon as possible, sergeant kim called your name. as you went to him, you found someone with a heavily scarred face.
you couldn't help but frown at his condition, but sergeant kim called for your help. you both put the person's arms on your shoulders and walked.
glancing at the hooded man, you were startled to see his face staring at you.
"where are we going now?" you asked sergeant kim as you both found a car and put the unconscious man in the back seat.
"we have to go back to the stadium," he answered, starting the car. you glanced at the man in the backseat to see him sleeping.
"i see something over there. we should check if we can find anything valuable," you said as sergeant kim stopped the car.
gathering equipment from what seemed to be a former soldier camp, you returned to the car and noticed the man was no longer there.
"sergeant kim! he's not here!" you announced. sergeant kim looked around and saw a church door swinging. you both ran there with guns pointed.
roaming around the church, you approached the altar and found a body lying there.
"hey! are you crazy? you should've stayed in the car!" you scolded him, attempting to lift him up.
suddenly, he grabbed the barrel of your gun and pointed it to his head. "kill me and you'll find out," he said, staring deeply into your eyes.
"what," you said, stunned. not even a second passed before he grabbed your gun and shot himself. sergeant kim ran to you and found the guy dead bleeding. "what the hell happened?" he asked, completely confused while staying alert for monsters.
suddenly, something slimy grabbed the body of the person who just shot himself and wrapped it in a cocoon. you two stared at each other, dumbfounded, when a monster suddenly stormed in.
while fighting it, you felt your body thrown against a wall, leaving you unconscious. the last thing you saw was a light and heard sergeant kim calling your name.
slowly opening your eyes, you groaned as the sunlight burned your eyes. you looked around your surroundings only to find a pair of eyes staring at you.
observing his not so familiar face, you sat up quickly. "who the fuck are you !" you shouted at him grabbing a gun from your holster and pointed at him.
sergeant kim suddenly barged in "put your gun down, it's useless to a monster-"
"neohuman" the person in front of you cutted
"what ?"
rolling your eyes as you sat in the back seat while the two men sat in front, "we can't bring a monster or neo fucking human in the stadium sergeant, why is he going with us?" you grumbled in annoyance
"obviously, we're gonna drop him off somewhere" he said as he started driving
you don't even know how it all happened, the car crashed in a bus, sergeant kim beating the shit out of a monster, the man whose name you still don't know fighting with another man you also don't know. you stood aside with eun yu and chan young who greeted you.
"sergeant kim, let's go now !" you called, as you went in the passenger seat while a girl whose name, once again you don't know sat in the back seat with eun yu who was stubbornly trashing around chanyoung's hold.
the car started and soon it broke down, you watched eun yu ran away and sighing as you realized you can't just leave her with two neohumans.
"where are you going?" sergeant kim asked seeing you jumped out from the car.
"doing my duties, have to make sure that girl won't end up dead"
you followed eun yu running and reached the bus from earlier. "what the actual fuck..." you sighed watching it slowly get melt.
you looked around and find eun yoo, "eun hyuk..." you heard her, call the man in front of her which you obviously assumed is his name.
you watched the two interact when the bus suddenly get torn up and showed the other neohuman.
soon after, you four are walking while you couldn't help but feel out of place and awkwardness between the three after reuniting. groaning as you kick the pebbles in boredom, the man beside you whose name you finally know, eun hyuk, glanced to you.
he was about to speak when eun yu, his sister called him.
the three of them stopped walking while you went your way. you knew you had to get to the stadium as soon as possible.
you felt footsteps following you, so you turned around and find eun hyuk with his expressionless, no longer scarred face.
"where is eun yu and her protector?" you asked raising your eyebrows. "they're talking" he said nonchalantly.
"you know, i never got the chance but what were you doing in the bureau? and how the hell did your fucked up face healed." you asked staring at him.
the two of you stared at each other for a few seconds, "i got reborn"
you groaned at his once again short answer, breaking the the eye contact.
the two of you continued walking, when "what about you? what were you doing there"
surprised at the sudden question, you sighed remembering the dead bodies of your companions, "don''t even know, wish i could turn back the time and stopped..."
"stopped what?" he asked, "stopped my friends from dying."
cha hyun su finally catched up to you and eun hyuk. you found out eun yu is no longer going with you guys so you attempted to find her.
"she need her time, she said you know the name so you must company us" hyun su grabbed your arm, stopping youat your footsteps. you sighed once again.
now you're stuck with two neo fucking humans.
masterlists !

Toman Groupchat (Final Timeline)
Warnings: suggestive, dark humour, mentions of abuse (kazutora's dad) in a serious and non serious way
Desc: so uh, it's not exactly like this (the request), but this is the basic format of events. the founders know kind of but Smiley and Angry don't. 🍎anon, forgive me if you hate it 😓🙏
Side Note: all the dark topics i'm making fun of (homophobia, abuse etc) are things i've personally gone through! i'm not just an asshole who jokes about bad things✋️😪!
Angry: i'm beginning to think there is something wrong with our friend
Draken: be more specific
Baji: that's literally all of us
Baji: ESPECIALLY Mikey
Mikey: ?
Mikey: you can't prove that
Baji: there's a deep sadness in your eyes
Baji: *madness
Mitsuya: tbh, both work
Mitsuya: sorry
Mikey: what do you mean
Mikey: i'm perfectly fine
Mikey: everyone in my life is alive and no one is dead
Mikey: i haven't committed any unforgivable sins
Mikey: see? i'm fine
Mitsuya: what are you ever talking about dude
Baji: see? he's crazy
Baji: i'd say something's wrong with Takemitchy but he's just ugly. does that count
Takemitchy: my wife would think otherwise😒
Baji: idgaf
Mikey: i also think otherwise just btw
Draken: bro let it go
Mikey: let what go😁
Mikey: it should've been me walking down the isle fr but like, i don't mind
Takemitchy: Mikey-kun i can't tell if this is a joke 😂
Chifuyu: Mikey you're making him uncomfortable😒
Mikey: Chifuyu, did you know that in another universe, i shot you in the head?
Chifuyu: yeah i bet, fucking psycho
Takemitchy: Mikey-kun😐
Anrgy: i mean Kazutora
Angry: there's something wrong with Kazutora
Draken: can't argue with that
Mitsuya: yep
Mikey: oh yeah definitely, but we all knew this?
Chifuyu: he should be admitted to a psych ward, in my personal opinion
Smiley: he has a few screws loose, but that's what makes him funny
Smiley: he threatened to kill me the other day and i genuinely didn't know if he was joking or not. i love that guy😁
Takemitchy: i'm sure he was joking. we all joke like that🤣
Chifuyu: he probably wasn't and we all know it
Draken: why did he threaten to kill you
Draken: did you do that thing where you intentionaly trigger people to get a reaction out of them
Draken: cause then i can vouch for Kazutora and say that Smiley would deserve it
Smiley: i only do that with you, Draken. it's really easy
Smiley: you're hot when you're mad
Smiley: i love seeing that vein pop out of that big ass head of yours
Smiley: makes me wonder what else is veiny
Angry: ew😠👎
Mikey: do you mean his penis?
Mikey: cause yeah it has like one vein
Baji: how do you even know that
Mikey: Emma has pictures
Draken: i'm gonna hurt you, Smiley
Smiley: see?
Smiley: easy
Angry: can you please stay on topic😐
Smiley: fine
Smiley: he tried to kill me cause i beat him at UNO
Smiley: insisted i cheated🙄
Mikey: did you?
Smiley: yeah
Angry: you find new ways to disappoint me big bro😡
Smiley: it's just a game lil bro 😁
Draken: one day, i'll do something i can't take back
Smiley: what, you'll fuck me?
Draken: enough
Angry: before you hurt Smiley, can we please talk about Tora
Angry: since you guys are super close
Angry: i really am worried
Chifuyu: he's fine
Angry: how do you know
Chifuyu: i'm with him like 24/7?
Chifuyu: okay maybe he's not fine fine, but Baji-san and i are dealing with it
Baji: he's going to therapy, so it's not like he's not getting help
Takemitchy: but what's wrong with him?
Takemitchy: oh, nevermind, i remember
Baji: how would *you* know🧐?
Takemitchy: uh
Takemitchy: i don't
Takemitchy: i just didn't want to look stupid!! yeah, that's it haha😅
Mikey: dude, you're gonna blow our cover
Mikey: when you could be blowing me instead 🤣🤣😭💔😂🍆💦
Mikey: anyway
Takemitchy: i don't know what to say anymore 😄
Angry: GUYS
Angry: PLEASE
Draken: see, idk if we should be disclosing why Kazutora's the way he is
Draken: isn't it like, super personal?
Baji: his dad used to beat him, real bad
Baji: his mom too. they'd fight all the time and they'd make him pick sides and shit
Angry: his mom also used to beat him🙁?
Baji: no, his dad would beat Tora and his mom
Baji: i set his dad's car on fire once 🔥
Draken: ...😐
Baji: what? it's not like he keeps it private. if you ask him, he'll tell you
Draken: yeah, we should have asked *him*
Baji: you don't get him like i do fr
Chifuyu: wait 😌🤚
Chifuyu: they don't love you like i love you 🫵
Baji: ?
Baji: i love you too?
Chifuyu: it's... it's a trend
Chifuyu: yk, on tiktok
Chifuyu: nevermind
Mikey: you look so fucking stupid🫵😭
Draken: why do i ever bother
Draken: i'm gonna leave this group for good
Mikey: you've been saying that for the past 10 years 🥱
Angry: oh😕
Angry: is there any way we can help him?
Smiley: man i feel like we should have known this
Smiley: that's why he gets so mad at "yo mama" jokes
Smiley: i feel bad now 😬
Baji: just don't talk about dad's or mom's or families at all
Baji: he's not gonna do anything, but i'm sure it hurts him inside
Mikey: we should find his dad and kill him
Mikey: amiryt guys
Draken: why are you so casual about murder
Draken: but i agree, this once
Mitsuya: you literally always agree
Kazutora: who are we killing
Kazutora:
Draken: why does it look like that
Kazutora: hang on, let me catch up
Draken: don't do that. we weren't talking about anything
Baji: we were talking about your abusive parents
Draken: 😐
Kazutora: ...
Kazutora: i thought i was hiding it well
Smiley: hiding what?
Kazutora: mental illness
Smiley: oh
Smiley: you weren't
Mikey: dude
Angry: there's something wrong with all of us! so it's okay
Smiley: yeah but it's more obvious with Kazutora
Draken: are you good tho?
Kazutora: yeah i'm fine. my dad came to the pet shop the other day and i guess i've been freaked out
Kazutora: but i killed him👍
Angry: 😧
Takemitchy: SHIT
Mikey: oh god, please tell me you're joking
Baji: dude😐
Kazutora: i'm joking lol
Kazutora: i just hit him several times in the head with a crowbar
Draken: ...
Draken: so you, killed him?
Kazutora: he's in the hospital. he's fine
Kazutora: well, he's in a coma, but he's alive
Smiley: dude, you're gonna go to jail?????
Kazutora: nahhh
Baji: fym "nahhh" ???
Kazutora: no evidence
Kazutora: i followed him home and he didn't see me
Takemitchy: what about camera's??
Kazutora: i have an alibi
Draken: holy shit you're gonna go to jail man
Draken: ok we need to have a meeting or something. plan of action
Mitsuya: Kazutora why would you do that man
Mikey: Kazutora
Mikey: do you know the amount of work you just undid😟
Mikey: why do you like bashing people's skulls so much holy shit 😓
Angry: what do we do
Kazutora: guys it'll be fine
Kazutora: my dad has so many ops. he's the worst guy ever. people hate him
Kazutora: and i stole some stuff so they'll just rule it as a mugging
Draken: ...or as an attempted murder😐
Kazutora: you guys are bumming me out😒
Draken: us????
Takemitchy: ok you know what
Takemitchy: let's all meet at my place
Takemitchy: we'll eat and drink and uh, discuss the situation at hand
Takemitchy: in a normal, non bumming out way
Mikey: we're cooked
Baji: i'll take the fall, if necessary
Mikey: holy shit i'm going to kill myself
Draken: THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU
Mikey: YES IT IS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND

Memories. (CW) Phantom/Dew
CW: Talk of past slavery and abuse
Characters: Phantom, Dewdrop/Sodo
I wanted to do more with this, but brain dead tbh. Also trying out new formatting! Might not keep it but eh.
Read it under the cut or on AO3!
Dew turned his head as he stepped outside, eyes scanning the area before spotting his target sitting on the river dock, wings drooped. Sodo pushed himself forwards, hands in his pockets as he approached Phantom–tilting some to try and get a glimpse.
“Tommy?” He mumbled, watching as Phantom turned to meet his gaze.
He gave a slight smile. “Hey.”
“Hey.”
Phantom turned back out to the water, fingers holding a small, heart-shaped rose quartz Aether had gifted him. Their mate had come back from town with bags of gifts for his pack, specifically giving Phantom a decorative bag full of crystals. Sodo didn't know much about quintessence purposes with crystals, but knew it was something sacred to their element. Something Phantom and Aether shared appreciations for. But when Phantom had gotten to the bottom where that heart laid, curled in wire to be a necklace– Phantom instantly seemed off. He played it off well, thanking Aether for the gift before excusing himself outside. Dew was simply sent to retrieve him for dinner.
“Got something on your mind?” Dew asked, moving to sit down next to his mate.
The bat simply shrugged, eyeing the gift again. “I guess, just…Memories, is all.”
Dew nodded, looking out at the water. “You know I'm here to talk if you ever need, right?”
“I know.”
A strange silence sat over them, Dew occasionally passing glances to his mate before going back to the shimmer of the water. It took a while longer before Phantom opened his mouth again.
“You know how I told you about my pit life, right?” He questioned, refusing eye contact and his ears turning red from shame.
“Yeah…” Dew's gut twisted. “You've told me.”
Phantom laughed at himself, shaking his head before tearing his eyes away from the heart. “My master, Albus, was weird as fuck. Besides the whole–you know, sex slave-forced mate thing…There were these times that I'd gaslight myself so hard that he actually loved me. That I wasn't just some…Prize and property.”
The fire ghoul kept himself quiet, looking over as his mate talked, his own expression holding sadness.
“Every month, he'd leave for a day while he went to our trading posts. He was always looked up at for casting knowledge, he was like a fucked up version of Special. Always knew how to alter the mind, conjure things others tried for years to do. He was so smart on ancient magick…But, anyways, he'd come back and always would have a little gift for me. Usually it was treats and more jewelry for me to wear, but every now and then he'd bring me crystals and wind chimes.”
He continued, “I think it was two years in when he gave me my first rose quartz. A-And I just remember looking at him with such a different view for the first time. I convinced myself so hard that he honestly did love me. I mean, the crystal should've proven that, right? I was just lost in my own delusion and-”
Tears started flowing, Phantom covering his mouth as he openly began to sob, shaking his head. Dew moved closer, placing his hand on Phantom's back and the other resting over the other that stayed on his lap. The pack leader gently pushed a comforting smell, Phantom inhaling sharply as he tried to calm himself.
“I-I mean fuck! That's how you court people in our culture, and he'd just…” Phantom lowered his head, his ears drooped. “I thought I loved him, too…In reality I just had stockholm and was so trauma bonded to this asshole. I'm just an idiot.”
The newly summon moved, leaning into Dewdrop's hold, being hugged tightly. They whined as Sodo began to gently brush down his back, trying to wipe his eyes and gather himself better. Sodo nuzzled closer, exhaling.
“I know how that feels. Being so lost in your abuse you think it's normal–you deserve it and they're doing it for a purpose. Doing it because they love you. Any type of affection was better than anything.” Dew mumbled, stroking more down Phantom's back. “You're not an idiot, bug. You were trying to survive.”
“Does it ever get better?” Phantom looked up, his eyes glossy and just pleading for answers.
For once, Dew was unsure. He simply held Phantom tighter, linking their tails together.
“I think it does. I still struggle a lot, I mean–Shit, Aether reminds me too much of my own tormentor sometimes. Sometimes I have to double take him especially when it's dark. It doesn't help that he and Mountain were around near the end of my abuse. Kept me on my toes that they'd been influenced to follow what ‘they’ did.”
“But I thought Aether was the one to help you out?”
“He was and still is.” Sodo shrugged. “Doesn't change that my mind still associates his entire body with what I experienced. Trauma is a really, really confusing thing. Aether pushed it in my head so many times that healing isn't linear. Even after eight years, I still have night terrors sometimes.”
“I'm upset over a stupid crystal-”
Dew cut him off. “Hey. You can't control triggers and flashbacks, as much as it sucks. You being upset is very justified. Your trigger isn't something that should be overlooked.”
Phantom looked down again, his thumb running over the silver wire wrapped around the heart. “I just… I wish I could associate it with something better. Aether gave this to me out of love and kindness.”
“Stop beating yourself up over this, bug. Associations take a while to change, and I'm sure if you give yourself just a little bit more time, you'll be able to accept it.” Dew pulled Phantom closer. “But, I really do think it gets better. I mean look how far you've come! You went from hiding under the tables to sneaking into our beds, dork…You're able to laugh, you're able to live. I think that's impressive with everything you've gone through.”
A gentle whine and purrs erupted, Phantom squeezing his mate tightly before moving up to butt their horns together. Dew cupped his cheeks, smiling and leaning forwards to kiss at his cheeks, scenting against his neck before lightly nipping his bond.
“This thing right here?” His tongue carefully went over the bond. “This is my promise to you, Tom'. The entire packs promise–That we'll never let you be hurt again…Do you believe that?”
“I do…” Phantom moved back a bit, looking down at the crystal before handing it over to Sodo. “Will you hold onto it for me until I'm ready?”
“Yeah…Yeah, I can do that.”
Taking the necklace, Sodo pocketed the item, and in return Phantom went right back into his arms. They sat quiet for a moment as their rumbles passed back and forth, Sodo poking his muzzle against Phantom's jawline.
“By the way, Mountain is making both pork and chicken empanadas.”
Phantom shot up, scrambling to his feet – almost knocking Dew into the water which earned an aggravated hiss.
“Why didn't you tell me that?! Come on! You know Swiss’ fat ass takes all of them!!” Phantom squealed more, grabbing Dew's wrist and dragging him to his feet.
“Alright, alright! Fuck!” Still, he couldn't help but laugh as he let Phantom drag him back towards the abbey.

man the ending of BG3 was kinda... rough, ngl. Like, not the fights and stuff, that was about what I expected, but the cutscenes post final battle were... something.
HEAVY SPOILERS for Baldur's Gate 3 ending under the cut
listen man, I can respect not giving everyone a perfectly happy ending, but Karlach's fate felt unfair. It felt like there had been a way to save her in development, but it got scrapped somewhere in the process. why even have the quest with Dammon and the infernal iron if all you can do is delay the inevitable.
Astarion's wasn't much better. If you tell him not to use the ritual to ascend, he just. stays a vampire spawn forever then?? the whole 'oh I can stand in the sunlight' bit was just for laughs?? I was horrified tbh.
Gale's romance scene was... fine. Like, perfectly servicable, sure, but choosing what to do with the crown was his literal companion quest! and you don't even get to see it resolved, he just SAYS what he'll do with it. PLEASE.
Shadowheart had one (1) appearance and one (1) line of dialogue in my ending and that was a quip about Astarion's sad fate. Thanks.
No mention of the Emperor after killing the netherbrain with Orpheus. Really? He's just dead, apparently. Nvm that it was like... the original founder of the city. No no, just dead, don't even see him die if you didn't kill him during the fight.
NO EPILOGUE AT ALL COME ON MAN. I would've taken poorly written SLIDES over nothing at all.
The post-credit scene with Withers feels... so, so redundant? Like, why is he waxing poetic about foes who weren't even the stars of the show? It really felt like a version of that scene should've come earlier, maybe around the start of act 3.
There's a ton of other little stuff that I would've loved to see resolved, but those were my main gripes. It just felt veeeery rushed right at the end there which is pretty disappointing, considering how entirely excellent the rest of the game is. Like, I don't want games to be these infinite projects that studios revisit and expand on (in anything other than expansions) bc they didn't get it quite right the first time around, bc that shit isn't sustainable, but man.

Shoutout to that person making mindverse notes cause it pushed me to continue doing mine 👍
anyways, eps 1-4 of Stark's Mind :3
Episode 1
OK there's not a whole lot of interesting things in ep 1, tbh
A nature person
Was never involved with the departments that dealt with lasers/plasma
Never met Gina Cross
OK that's, literally anything interesting said in this episode uhhh WOO
Episode 2
Apparently Black Mesa changed a lot from when he first started working there? Unless there's a different reason he doesn't know where the test labs are
“now it looks structurally sound” boy what are you talking about…
“Guess that makes this the left way then?” SHUT UP (LOVINGLY)
“I didn't eat breakfast at all.” THIS MAN WAS GOING THROUGH ALL THESE EPISODES WITHOUT EATING ANYTHING WHATSOEVER???
babygirl steal some snacks from the vending machine please 💔
“Do we not have mirrors?” where are the mirrors…
“Somebody probably thought the rotating panels looked cool even though it's 2009.” (I don't have a comment lmao)
“I'm pretty sure you don't need to put a warning sign here” He says… about a fucking laser containment tube that would need a caution sign
“He wanted to recreate the Big Bang back when I was working here” I'm sorry what?
Likes white noise
“Gordon, I should've never answered your call and stayed away!” I really like that line so much
PRINNAMON WHEN I GET YOU (TYSM FOR THE CAPTIONS THEY ARE A LIFE SAVER)
Episode 3
“We did this… I did this..” Oh babygirl…
not specifically this episode, but he uses repeated phrases to cope (ex. ‘I did this’, ‘this isn't real’)
“Fucking demons!” That's one way to see them!
“How about I fuck you up with a fucking chair! Dick.” He's such a loser I hate him (lovingly)
again not a whole lot this episode, r.i.p </3
Episode 4
“It's important to stay composed in a critical situation, I mean, it's not like people are dead because of me!” Hes coping so badly ougj..
“You just need to kick them” PUNT THEM LIKE A FOOTBALL (or soccer if you're British)
“That's a little too close to my cranium” nerd ass has to use the scientific word instead of just head 🙄
“and I'm kinda falling into a relapse right now.” Hey? huh???
“Another person dead ‘cause I’m a moron!” You really couldn't have grabbed him man, he was doomed 💔
“Protect me crowbar!” dork ass <3

Okay this is kind of a vent but am I the only one who thought s4 of The Dragon Prince felt really,, off?
Like it was good and well executed and all of this could very well just be a consequence of COVID and Netflix messing with season four's production but something about this season felt really weird. And, truthfully, it's kind of the everything that feels off.
A lot of the characters felt very out of character. I'm sorry but Callum should've been rightfully VERY upset with Rayla. She abandons him on the day of his birthday after he nearly loses her to the moon lake, after she makes a promise to stay with him and get through all of their shit together, and she DOESN'T COME BACK FOR YEARS. And when she does come back, they're suddenly just really awkward but still in love??? HUH??? Did I miss something?? Why are they still in their "awkward, before they get together" phase??? Callum should rightfully be extremely upset with Rayla if not furious with her!! You could have kept them amicable when Rayla comes back! She could be a bit distant but still hopeful that Callum will forgive her easily but realizes Callum is angry and is trying to be kind to her even though he's clearly not happy! Let him tell her off! Why didn't he do that??? You could still have him be nice but there's a bittersweetness to it.
Speaking of Rayla, she felt off too. Idk she just,, wasn't distant enough. You'd think after being alone for years on end she'd be a bit less trusting of others, even the friends she knew. But people change! She shouldn't have been sure how much Callum would've changed. Also her lemur doesn't look right. She noticeably stands out amongst the other characters and creature designs. Bait, although he looks a bit like a plushy, works because he feels like a unique creature to this world. Rayla's lemur just straight up looks like a doll. She doesn't look right. Also she's just a lemur with extra limbs. That's it. And she's kind of purple. Why not get weirder with her and mash her up with another animal? Like a squirrel or maybe a hawk? Idk she just doesn't look right.
Claudia also feels,, very strange. Like yes she's funny and dorky but her antics felt really amped up this season. She feels dumber somehow. And Claudia isn't dumb. She's very smart actually but she can be oblivious sometimes. But I dunno she feels too comedic this season which creates such a whiplash for me. She's the villain and brought her father back from the dead. So why is she so,, dumbed down? Also her boyfriend,, he's fine I suppose? But why would Claudia be dating an elf? HE'S AN ELF. He also doesn't like dark magic?? Huh?? Wouldn't it be more of a novel concept for him to be an elf who also wants to do dark magic? Shouldn't he be in favor of that? Why was he against it? Terry never feels like a proper villain. And outside of dating Claudia, he has no motive to stay with her or her father! He doesn't like dark magic so why is he with Claudia? How did they meet? How did they become friends? What made her like him?? CAUSE HE SEEMS THOROUGHLY ALIGNED WITH THE ELVES in terms of worldviews on magic! Terry also feels out of place in terms of his comedy. The fart joke thing got old fairly quickly for me as well. I get it, it's a kid show, but I dunno it felt a little too much like writer's weird fetish in certain places.
Ezran feels fine though in terms of writing. He still feels in character and like he's evolved. He's wiser and has been ruling as king for a while now. And I like that they kept the friendship with him and Zym the same, that was nice! I just wish Zym could talk now that's he's older. Also, shouldn't he be a bit bigger? Tbh I always thought dragons grew super quickly as adolescents. Ah well, not issues with them. Also Soren. He is still the loml and I can't ever hate him. I do wish he could've bonded with and kept a wyvern though. That would've been cool as hell.
Now for the animation. It was too smooth for me. I love the choppy uneven Spiderverse inspired look of the second and third season so much! But in s4, I could barely find spots where the animation wasn't super smooth. The colors of this season are also way off. We spend a majority of the time in (what I am assuming is) Earthblood elf territory but the colors don't look right. They don't gel together very well. This is especially noticeable in the cave scene towards the end of the season. All of those crystals were so deeply saturated and NONE of those colors looked nice together. Especially on gray speckled rock. It was hard for me to see what I was supposed to be looking at! Emphasis and focus were two aspects which this show really seemed to struggle with this season in terms of visuals. The updated character designs look nice though, I don't have any qualms there (aside from the lemur).
Except for the Earthblood elves. WHY DID YOU TAKE AWAY THEIR COOL TREE BRANCH HORNS CONCEPT ART. They had moss and leaves on their shoulders and bodies. And cool swirly carvings. Why did they take that away :(
This season also feels like it's missing a LOT of setup for a LOT of lore and plot points. Especially the plot point with Callum being possessed by Aaravos. WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?? HOW CAN AARAVOS DO THIS?? THIS BEGS THE QUESTION WHY AARAVOS DIDN'T FORCE VIREN SO CUT HIS HAND AND DO THE CATERPILLAR THING WILLINGLY. AARAVOS SHOULDN'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO AFFECT THE OUTSIDE WORLD RIGHT?? AM I GOING INSANE?? AND WHY DOES AARAVOS EVEN WANT TO POSSESS CALLUM?? BECAUSE HE CAN DO MAGIC?? HE ONLY KNOWS SKY MAGIC AS OF S4. I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING INSANE.
Idk maybe all of my issues with this season will be remedied by s5 which I still need to watch. Just needed to vent this out. I still like this show and I'll keep watching it but man, it's gained some problems for me I can't really seem to ignore. Especially since the first 3 seasons were so well paced.

‼️ A Curse for True Love + Finale ‼️
To think, Stephanie Garber didn't even care about connecting shit with the things she set up in her Caraval trilogy (very resentful about it tbh), especially related to Fates, but considered it important enough for the readers to know that Jacks was not obsessed with Evangeline,
It wasn’t an obsession. One visit wasn’t an obsession.
—a curse for true love, chapter 11
especially considering this whole paragraph
“When we’re attracted to humans, we only feel obsession, fixation, lust, possession. But on very rare occasions, we come across humans who tempt us to love. But it always ends badly. Love is poison to us. Love and immortality cannot coexist. If an immortal feels true love for even a minute, they become human for that minute. If the feeling lasts too long, their mortality becomes permanent. And most immortals would kill the object of their affection rather than become human. It’s not safe to tempt an immortal to love. And if Jacks doesn’t kill you because he’s tempted to love you, then I promise his obsession with you will destroy you.”
—finale, chapter 20
implying he really was in love with her (which should've made him mortal, but is not once addressed) but also proving he's in love, not obsessed, by showing it in things like how, throughout the ouabh trilogy, he asked her to stay away from him or not get too close, but never once wanted to kill her (even under the vampire phase, even when he did love her), and in fact saved her every chance he got, every time she was in danger. Hell! He brought her back from the dead, when it really would've been convenient to let her die if he had indeed loved his immortality more, but he didn't care about it half as much as he cared about Evangeline being fine, unhurt, and alive.
It also shows in how he'd rather burn his own heart than have it love her and pose her any kind of danger (since at that point, it wasn't just about a deadly kiss, but his love that he thought would doom her, which again, was stupid but okay)
Anyway, whether you get answers to your questions or not, whether shit connects between books or not, at least there's one thing everyone can be sure about: *screaming* JACKS LOVES EVANGELINE!!!
And he loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her so much he’d rewritten history. He’d given up what he had believed was his only chance at love. And now he had finally broken the spell that he never thought he’d escape.
—a curse for true love, chapter 43
thanks for reading the acftl chaos in my head <3

There's so many good ones so I wanna ask one more! (Feel free to ignore of course!) Fuffy + 91. "I can't breathe." Happy writing! (Tbh I am team full season rewrite tho if/when you feel up to it! 😂 I'd love to see another! You did so incredible with the first one)
You sent this prompt in months ago, I know, but ... uh, better late than never?
(This is canon compliant and set in late Season 3, so I hope you like angst.)
In her whole short life leading up to today, Faith's only ever memorized four phone numbers.
The first of them was the phone number of the tiny apartment she’d lived in with her mother ever since she was a kid. The dismal too-small box back in Southie that she’d spent years dreaming of escape from. Not that she ever had any reason to call that one, or to invite anyone else to call her either. Unlike some people, she didn't exactly have a fawning little gang of sycophants and hangers-on to arrange late night gossip sessions with.
She used to have to give that number to teachers though sometimes. Before she was smart enough to just take the hint and drop out of school entirely. They used to demand it after summoning her to some principal’s office or some classroom for after-school detention, then get pissed at her when nobody answered. As if it were Faith’s fault her mom was too busy enjoying the drinking and passing out parts of life to pick up the phone. As if she’d ever asked for her to do that.
(Hell, maybe if she’d just asked her to carry on drinking herself to death then her mom would’ve stopped. God knows she’d never given Faith anything else she’d ever asked for.)
Anyway, that was one number she could go ahead and forget. Good riddance to that.
Then there was Diana's number. Diana Dormer.
Diana was her first Watcher, and – in every way that mattered – her last Watcher too. Snobby Rupert Giles had only ever looked at her like she was a cheap, flawed copy of his favorite golden Slayer, and lying Mrs Post had only ever been using her to get her hands on that stupid glove, and that jailbait-chasing creep Wesley was somehow worse than both of them put together. But Diana had been okay. For a Watcher, anyway. She’d been all right.
Diana had given her her number early on, shortly after she’d first invited Faith to stay at her place. "In case of emergencies," she'd said gently. “Or if you just want to talk.”
Faith had never known when to use it. Never been sure what Diana wanted from her until it was too late to ask. Her Watcher's house had been real nice, the few times she’d gone round to visit, but she'd worried that there was some kind of trick she wasn’t spotting, some strings attached that she’d not be able to escape. So however much she’d wanted to, she'd never actually called her on it. Not really.
She'd rung the number once, for the first time and the last, only after Diana died. When even a stupid little kid should've known it was way too late. Driven by some weak childish impulse on a very bad night, after a string of at least a dozen bad nights, when she was already halfway across the country. It rang and rang and rang and however long she waited nobody had ever answered.
Well, what had she expected to happen anyway? Diana was dead and she’d not been good enough to stop it and no amount of wishing would ever change that.
She could probably go ahead and forget that number too.
The Mayor had given her his number, as well, last of everyone. “Saving the best till last as usual, are you Faith?” he might have asked her, beaming at her in his office over another plate of cookies. (The Mayor hated crumbs and mess and disorder, that wasn’t a secret, but somehow he never seemed to mind her eating at his desk.)
It was his private office number, direct line. Not the one most people had to call. The real one: the one Trick had used, and Mr Finch, and maybe some other dead losers Faith had offed without knowing it. That was good. it meant he trusted her, that she was useful to him. That she was safe. She didn't think she'd ever call him on it either though. What if she said something stupid and pissed him off? What if he decided he could do better?
Mayor Wilkins wasn’t Diana. The Mayor wasn't all right. Not really. He was a monster, and a killer, and he was wicked gross. Only … he was on her side, wasn't he? He’d set her up in this place, hadn’t he? A little nicer than that dump of a motel she’d been left to rot in. He’d given her a chance. He got her, the way nobody else in this town did. The real her. After all, she was a monster too. Everyone knew it. She belonged, with him, in a way she’d never belonged anywhere before.
Use it or not, she'd be hanging onto his number for a while. It wasn’t as if she had a choice.
And then there was the third number. The one she didn’t want to think about. The most important number. Her number. Buffy Summers’s number. The Buffy Summers, the one Diana had told her about almost a year ago. The one Faith had known about, somehow, even before that, the face she’d glimpsed in her dreams the night before she’d woken up stronger and stranger and different than before.
The other Slayer – the real Slayer, Faith supposes, the good Slayer – had given her number to Faith herself on her third night in Sunnydale, after the big fight with Kakistos.
They’d been hungry, after dusting that old monster. Both of them. Starving. And, maybe, they'd both been feeling something else. Something that Faith had been sure she’d seen, deep in Buffy’s eyes, that very first night they’d met. A feeling she’d never been able to talk about it with anyone else, because they wouldn’t have been able to understand. The feeling she’d always gotten after a good slay. The high that kept her going, night after night, vamp after vamp.
They were hungry, but the only place open that late at night was a crappy little diner a few blocks away from the vamps’ old hideout. It had been nearly deserted when they’d shown up, no other customers at all, and for a minute Faith had been worried they’d be turned away. She probably would’ve been, she thinks, if she’d been on her own. Something about her just had that effect on people. She was trouble, she was a problem, and it was like everyone could smell it on her. Like a stink she couldn’t ever wash away.
But she’d been with Buffy, Sunnydale’s golden girl, and nobody in the world had ever known how to say no to her. That was why, not long after arriving, they’d been sitting together squashed up at a little plastic table, a table piled high with more burgers and fries and milkshakes than Faith had seen in one place for a long time. More food than she’d ever had since she’d lost Diana.
Buffy might have claimed to crave nothing more than low-fat yogurt back when she was with her friends, but Faith hadn’t bought it. No way that could be true. And that night, when it was just the two of them, Buffy hadn’t bothered to pretend. She’d torn through the burgers almost as fast as Faith, almost as if she didn’t have a mom at home who’d stay up late waiting for her and cook her hot food any time she asked. Almost as if she was as empty inside as Faith was.
At one point, she’d looked up at Faith, mouth still slightly smeared with sauce, and Faith had had the weirdest feeling. Because, fuck, this was Buffy Summers, the girl she’d dreamed about being the first night she was Called. This was the girl whose death she’d lived through in her nightmares, just like she’d lived through a second death bleeding out on the library floor at some vampire’s feet, and falling through the air to the ground far below, and hundreds of other deaths before that.
Buffy Summers, who Diana had told her stories about as if she were some kind of fairy tale. Buffy Summers, who she’d dreamed about again as she fled across the country, running for her life, not knowing where else she could turn to. Buffy Summers, who’d drowned but lived to joke about it, who’d never lost a fight, who blew up demons with rocket launchers and was really real. Who was real and alive and warm and sitting so close to her, and who – even disheveled and dirty after a fight, even with fading bruises on her arms and ketchup stains on her fingers – was the most beautiful girl Faith had ever seen in her life. Buffy Summers, who was like her, but better. Perfected. Perfect.
She’d looked up at her, and Faith had felt her heart lurch in her chest in a way that had nothing to do with all the greasy junk food they were eating. And for the first time in the longest time, she’d dared to let herself hope that maybe everything was going to be okay.
If things had been just a little different back then, if Buffy had given her just the smallest, slightest sign, Faith thinks she might have kissed her right then and there.
Not a quick kiss on the forehead, like she had after their big fight back in Angel’s mansion, but a proper kiss. The sort of kiss a girl like Buffy deserved. Romantic. Slow and deliberate. Gentle and soft and forgiving in a way that Faith could never make herself be.
But things hadn’t been different. They never were. Everywhere you went things were always exactly the same forever. Buffy had glanced away; a tired-looking waitress had shown up to ask if they were going to be done soon; the moment had slipped out of her fingers, unseized.
So Faith had just helped herself to the last few fries on Buffy’s plate when she was almost finished, smirked at her with her mouth full when the other girl protested, then left her to foot the bill and made her way alone back to her motel room.
Alone.
She’d been alone for months, out on the wrong part of town, and nobody had cared. Not really.
Giles had come round to see her once, much too late, almost a week after she’d arrived in Sunnydale. He’d looked over the place, peering over his glasses, barely managing to hide his distaste, and asked her haltingly if she was looking for somewhere else to stay. Well, nice try. Faith wasn’t about to fall for that one. What was he going to suggest: putting her up in the spare room in his place? Out of the goodness of his heart, or something? How dumb did he think she was?
“I’m five by five here, G-man,” she’d smiled insincerely, almost as keen to see the back of him as he obviously was to leave.
You couldn’t trust guys, even older guys who seemed okay at first. Even guys you were supposed to be able to trust. Especially not those guys. Faith wasn’t naive enough to think otherwise. She hadn’t been that naive for a very long time.
Buffy had come around to see her a few times, too. Not so much after they’d fought over Mrs Post’s glove – well, to be fair, Faith hadn’t exactly wanted to see her then either – but a couple of times. The last time was just before Christmas, when Buffy’s mom had guilted her into inviting Faith over for the night.
She might have kissed her that night, too. She might have, if she could’ve gotten away with it. Found some way to play it off as a joke. Lurked around the mistletoe and surprised her with a shy and furtive peck on the cheek at the stroke of midnight. She might have kissed her, if that damn vampire hadn’t shown up to ruin everything.
As it was, Buffy hadn’t even hung around to open Faith’s crappy little presents. She hadn’t even cared. Just abandoned Faith again, the way everyone else did. Left her to guard her mom like she was some kind of dog. Like she was a stray she’d briefly felt sorry for and invited into the warmth for a night, only to regret it when she realized how flea-bitten and mangy and disgusting she truly was.
She always thought she was better than you, Faith reminds herself angrily, hating the way she always forgets. Right from the beginning, and you never ever let yourself see it.
Sometimes she still thinks about calling her, even now. What for, she isn't sure. It's not like they were ever friends, is it? Not really. Buffy was just using her, same as everyone else. She gets that now, even if she'd never wanted to admit it. There was no way Buffy had ever been going to let her into her life for real. There was no way Buffy was going to admit that they were alike.
Still, she thinks about it, some nights. Most nights. She’s been thinking about it tonight.
It’s idiotic. She’s idiotic. She’s embarrassing herself again. it's just like Red had told her, back in the Mayor's office. It's too late, it's way too late. She knows that. She’s known it for a while. She’s not a stupid kid anymore.
Only … she’s never going to get another chance, is she? One way or another, it’s all going to be over soon.
It's well after midnight when she finally screws up the courage to pick up the phone. Not long to go until graduation day now. Not long to go until the Mayor's big ascension. This town will get what’s coming to it, and so will Buffy Summers. And so will she. Everything will be different.
"Willow?" Buffy says sleepily on the other end of the line, when Faith finally has the guts to dial her number. "Is that you? Are you okay?"
Faith feels herself scowling at the mention of that little witch's name, the smile she’d not been able to stop when she heard Buffy’s voice curdling on her face.
Red. That smug little witch. Of course Buffy would ask about her. Of course Buffy would choose her over Faith, again and again. Willow’s not a Slayer. She isn’t like them, she isn’t important. She’s soft and weak and shy and coddled and she’s got a family and a house and a future. She doesn’t need Buffy the way that Faith needs her. Why can’t Buffy see that?
Too late, she realizes how long it’s taking her to answer. Now Buffy's getting impatient. Sounding a little more stern.
"Who is this? What do you want?"
Faith freezes. The little script she’d pieced together in her mind all evening fades into gray nothingness. What does she want? Forgiveness, maybe. Absolution. For somebody else to really see her and agree that this was the only way that things could go. That, really, none of this was anybody’s fault. Or maybe she just wants a chance to say goodbye.
I should have kissed you, back then, she thinks. That night after we dusted Kakistos.
She can see in her mind exactly how it would have played out. Like a scene from a movie – not one of those grainy black and white flicks she used to watch on the broken television in the motel after patrol, but a real movie, on the big screen, so bright and colorful and sharp and real that it almost hurts to look at.
You'd have tasted sweet, but just a little salty, between those fries you were demolishing and the specks of strawberry milkshake waiting on your upper lip. You’d have tasted just like I imagined, all those summer nights on the run. And afterwards … afterwards, you’d have gone all shocked and wide-eyed for a second and neither of us would've said anything. Then you'd have turned all pink and protested and pretended you hadn’t been into it at all, and maybe you’d not have talked to me again for weeks and weeks afterwards. You’d probably have been weird about it for months.
But I think it would’ve been worth it. To show you. Who I was, and who you were. To take what I wanted, just for a moment. To have what I was sure we both wanted, deep down. What we both needed. To know that I was right, and that the two of us were the same. To taste it.
And now it's like ... it's like I'm drowning, like I can't breathe. I’m in that quarry the kids used to fool around in, back in Boston. I’ve jumped in from way up top like always, only something’s gone wrong. I'm stuck. I can’t get out, I can’t even move, and I'm waving for help but nobody can see me. Nobody wants to see me.
It’s just like it was back then, after I failed Diana, except I know nobody’s going to take my hand and drag me out this time. I know there’s nowhere left for me to run, and no other Slayer I can trek across the country to find is going to save me. I know the only way out is down into the dark. The only thing left to do is let the water in and drown.
Faith opens her mouth. Hesitates again, for the last time. Buffy doesn't give her another chance.
"I don't know who you are or how you got this number, but I know this isn't funny," the other girl whispers furiously. "It’s the middle of the night and I’m trying to sleep. Don't ever call here again."
The line goes dead before Faith can say a word.

Do you think the BCCI should ask Rohit to retire gracefully (as in not sack/drop him) at the end of this the WTC cycle? in any other situation this kind of a series loss would have called for sacking of the captain and coach.
Is Bumrah ready to captain ICT full term? That includes him staying fit for almost all matches of a series.
And I agree with you statements on Gambhir. Now he's going to realise how hard it is to coach a cricket team. Every time that mf opened his mouth it was to spew nonsense about Dhoni, Kohli, Shastri, etc. Karma is just coming back for that man.
Thank you for the ask!!! Already apologizing because I have a lot to say on this matter and this will get very looonggg, you've been warned.
See I believe that ICT will undergo a transitional phase very soon. The seniors will hang up their boots soon after the finals (if we reach there) or in the midst of the next cycle cz I definitely don't think most of them will play another full cycle. As much I hate to see them go, it's kind of inevitable though about Rohit (and by extension Kohli) retiring, I think it's still too early to make statements like this before BGT because that will be their last chance to step up otherwise I think some harsh calls need to be made. I desperately hope that they get their form back because Jaddu and Ash are doing well tbh, they won't be dropped or asked to retire because of their performance.
And I also agree that Dhoni or Kohli would have been publicly slandered after this kind of loss but Rohit did come forward and took responsibility (atleast after the 3rd test) although the interviewers should've been sterner rather than asking about the positives and feelings (I remember clips of Atherton properly grilling MS in 2011 after 3-0 loss in England). But we also have to keep in mind that a huge series is coming up and we can't afford captaincy changes now considering Rohit is actually a good captain in most situations. Though I do think that a transition should be placed into effect with Bumrah playing a bigger role in leadership and daresay even captaining dead rubber matches. His availability will be an issue taking in point that he's India's main bowler in all formats but his fitness won't cause problems imo if he doesn't play pointless bilaterals.
Lastly on Gambhir, what do I even say? I grudgingly respect him as a player but his constant credit narrative and baseless statements do bother me a lot. I don't know about limited overs but his position as a coach in red ball cricket should be reviewed and, same as the seniors of the team, BGT should be the stage for him to perform. His performance (mind you as a mentor, Chandrakant Pandit was the actual coach who literally built the side) in IPL got him the position but he will have to prove himself.
I may be criticizing them right now but I'll definitely be the happiest if they perform well (yes even GG) and chahe jitna bhi gussa karlu at the end of the day sabse ladkar inhi ko support karungi. So to all the people sending me asks calling players names and all, pls stop. Even if they're going through a bad patch, they're still national players who have done more for India than all of you combined. Learn the difference between criticism and hate.
#this was a lot but yeah did get everything off my chest#I have lots of opinions about cricket if you haven't guessed lol#desiblr#ind vs nz#somi.exe#cricket#asks <3

Hello hello! 🙌 Some time ago on blue bird app I saw someone talking about a royal guard Genji x a (what if) royal guard captain Hanzo and would like to give a penny for your thoughts on it? :3c I think the idea is fun and has lots of potential to develop but also potential to create plot holes if not careful 🏃
Thank you and have a nice day!
HEY THERE <3
sooooo i'm not sure if you wanted this to be like a list of headcanons but i got a little excited and wrote a little drabble lmao
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! like i didn't enjoy questwatch as much as i thought i would tbh but including hanzo and shimadacest in the story just made it so interesting LOL
i think genji would give hanzo so much work just because he knows hanzo wouldn't punish him, it would be hilarious. and the shit genji and tracer would get up to, to queen emily and hanzo's dismay? blizz should've gone with that angle XDDD
anyway, little drabble coming up under the read more, and anon? thank you!!! hope you enjoy <3~
-
Hanzo is but a child when they meet
The King has a nasty habit of taking in unruly children whose parents can’t or won’t care for, and training them to be knights. Genji comes in a scoop of scrawny 8-year-olds about three years after Hanzo himself is handed over by his father, except that Genji’s parents don’t try to get rid of him like Hanzo’s dad did; no, Genji's father was a knight himself and died in the long running war, and his mother, or so the gossip goes, died of heartache upon hearing the news.
At this point Hanzo has made himself a bit of a top dog among the other kids. He’s only 12, but there’s already so many ugly feelings inside him that he pushes and pushes on the training grounds, until when he goes to bed at night he just blanks out. Wakes up the next day and does it all over again. The kids fear him; the knights who train them, love him.
So when Genji arrives full of toothy smiles and snarky responses, they clash. He gets under Hanzo’s skin fast and he enjoys doing it – revels in the looks of wonder the other kids save for him, because he’s the only one who stands up to Hanzo.
It takes less than a week for Hanzo to lash out at him during training. Adults have to step in and push them apart before he beats the younger boy to a pulp. He gets weeks of cleaning duties for punishment and hates Genji even more.
But time does its thing; they learn to get along if only to avoid problems. Hanzo finds that Genji is fun to be around and as they grow older, when he realizes that boys are more than just stinky and prone to fight, he sees beauty in Genji’s smile and a similar desire in the hands that search for him after nightfall.
Genji is his first kiss when he’s 17 and shaking with cold and anxiety.
But they’re not alone, that night. There’s a knight doing safety rounds and he sees them hidden in the forest. It’s nothing more than kissing, but he takes them in and punishment comes hard enough to drive them apart. Hanzo is made knight early and sent to war on the far eastern front; Genji stays to finish his training.
The war is long, merciless, horrifying. Hanzo learns that while boys might enjoy a little spar, men are more destructive than any monster he’s ever encountered. He’s forced to forget Genji because he knows he might never see him again; just hopes they can end this carnage before the younger man is sent to fight alongside him and either has to watch the other die.
Years later, when he returns victorious in spite of everything, one of the few survivors, the King is dead to old age and Queen Emily, a much more benevolent creature than her father, is ruling. Her hand is kind and her smile is easy, and she crowns Hanzo Royal Guard Captain for his merits in the war.
He doesn’t think he deserves it, but when he stands before the crowd and sees the proud joy in Genji’s eyes, he forgets all the horrors and all the time passed fades away, and they’re kids hiding in the woods to experiment love for the first time all over again.
They run off that night to that same place, and Genji tells him they were going to make me Captain if the war never ended when it did and Hanzo says he’s sorry, that he deserves it more than Hanzo does, and Genji laughs and tells him thank you, I didn’t want it, you were born for this.
Hanzo cries when they make love for the first time because he’d forgotten, for years and years, what good feelings were like.
It doesn’t take long for the word to spread out, that the Captain takes one of his knights to bed every night, that this was the whole reason they got separated in their youth. Queen Emily calls them to a private meeting one cold afternoon and Hanzo wants so bad to hold Genji’s hand, he’s terrified that they’ll never make it out of here alive, but they kneel before her with pride and resilience, and she sighs.
Before he died my father told me a story about the two of you, she says gravely. About why he arranged to send you away. It wasn’t because of your love… You should know my father, albeit harsh and strict, had no problem with men like you, or… Women like me.
The Queen seems to blush, bowing her head gently to glance at her own personal guard, a lively brunette who’s far too quick on her feet for anyone’s good, Hanzo has learned since his return.
And the soft tone of this conversation finally clicks. He chances a quick look in Genji’s direction and finds a knowing smirk.
However, she resumes a minute later, the truth is that… Well… Though you weren’t raised together, my father told me you two are actually related. It was a matter of forbidden love between your darling mother, Captain, and your heroic father, Knight Genji. Now, we have no way of knowing how much of this is true, but… You understand his reticence to allow a romantic relationship to bloom between you. Here I am no one to stop love when it’s so clearly written before my eyes. But I thought you deserved to know.
Her words fall flat at Hanzo’s feet; they might be half-brothers, he thinks, but as the Queen herself said, they weren’t raised as such. He feels no fraternal affection towards the man beside him. And life and war have thrown so many horrors towards him that he wants to grab the good and the love while he has them.
Genji as well doesn’t seem at all unnerved by the news. Instead, later that night when they retire to Hanzo’s sleeping quarters, he claims love to his big brother and laughs when Hanzo blushes, and things seem to be just fine.
So in the years that follow, the kingdom of Overland becomes a place where people like Hanzo, Genji, Queen Emily and Tracer, the knight, go to find peace and acceptance. They don’t start new wars and the knights fight to protect the Queen and the goodness that she sows. Hanzo still assists training squires and Genji becomes his right arm on the field.
And together, they’re unstoppable.

Honestly supernatural should've had lots of gore, I'm talking more then it does in the show already. There should've been lots of blood and guts and gross stuff. There should've been more ghost goo that we saw in the early seasons, we should've gotten more darker content like maybe someone going on a murderous rampage. Lucifer should've been more fucked up and evil, i also would've loved for Lucifer to come back, that would've been sick as fuck, the episode where Nick tries to summon Lucifer from the empty and he almost came back... should've happened, would've loved to seen it. The episode where John comes back feels so rushed, they should've kept John around for a few more episodes if I'm being honest, the whole episode seemed so rushed. Mary should've stayed dead. They should if never brought her back, her character was shit, she was shit, she's a shitty mum who really only gave a fuck about Dean. Heck Sam even says it! He goes on a vent about how he never had a relationship with his mum. Mary Winchester is a horrible mother and a stupid bitch. I will forever be a Mary Winchester hater. She sucks and I am so fucking glad they killed her off. She should of never been brought back. And they should've just killed her 1 season after she came back if I'm being honest. Mary Winchester sucks.
TBH THANK GOD YOU SAID, IM ALSO A MARY HATER, she just had a terrible character and I'll die on that hill, and ur right THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE GORE, I only think they didn't bc it was early 2000s and it was the cw they were scared of the gays so yknow they were too much of pussies to put more gore

as much as i love wesker and didn’t like his outcome in re5 (tbh i was fine with him dying but the way they killed him was just dumb and underwhelming) i don’t see what they would do if they didn’t kill him off. like i lowkey feel they would butcher it and make everyone wish he was dead
real shit, the biggest mistake RE made with wesker wasn't killing him; it was turning him into a DBZ villain. wesker should've remained a villain that's constantly undermining and outsmarting the heroes and should've never become a villain that's a threat because his power level is too damn high. wesker was an effective villain, and the series has been lost without him, because he was at the center of all of the bioterrorism plots. all that removing him from the equation did was cut the head off the hydra. and with every new installment, more and more heads pop up.
but if wesker stays at the center, the conflict remains focused. an endpoint goal is actually viable and attainable.
so, RE5make is going to have to change RE5 in a big way. wesker can't have gotten too high on his own supply in RE5make if they plan to unkill him. his plot just needs to be foiled so that he can slink back into his little wesker cave and then come back with something new like in code veronica.
so we'll see what happens.

idk if you remember this- but I find the ideal number of 3 for a quest very fascinating
they explore that in titans curse when 5 of them go for a quest and only 3 return alive
if they would've kept only 3 out of the 7 alive, it would've been a very powerful story- (the 3 according to me should've been percabeth and Piper) because 1) Hazel should've died, because of the whole what comes from the earth goes back to the earth thing 2) Frank should've died because of his mortal weakness, like in the end he accepts his weakness and burns the firewood (which I think he did in the books somewhere but not fully) and should've gone out with a bang (literally, lol) 3) Leo should've stayed dead instead of bringing him back and 4) tbh he should've just killed Jason cos it's not like he bothered to develop his character anyway
although I do get that killing off more than half the main characters would be too violent and disturbing for the kids, but idk would've been worth it
i agree with literally everything you have said! one thing, though: the 'what comes from the earth must return to it' is something i did for wcwsthwas: i dont think it exists in canon. but your takes are all 100% correct and it would have been super interesting to see something like that play out in the books!

Just a random thought I had, won't even be canon, probably could be picked apart extremely easily and has probably been thought of before, but I have this kinda small theory.
What if William's hell isn't actually Hell?
Now, I'm no major nerd about the Lore, I only really know the surface level, but here me out at least.
It'll probably get pretty wishy washy with the details, but when have this not in this fandom tbh?
Okay so, what if UCN isn't an actual physical place, but just a dream?
Taking something from The Man in Room 1280, where The Man is being kept alive by Andrew, dead spirit kid wearing an alligator mask.
This min-theory will also have to involve the Golden Duo, which it obviously has to include Cassidy, C.C's involvement will be both a minor yet key role I believe in this.
So, we know Cassidy.
Vengeful kid with a MASSIVE (which is still an understatement) bone to pick with one William Afton for murdering her. In a case, we can believe she died in a particularly gruesome way, far more than the other kids, which is why she's so angry.
Either that, or she's just an extremely petty little ankle biter who can hold a massive grudge for a long time.
Carrying on.
So, we know she has already killed him once, via the springlock suit, and then every other kid done went and passed on. But Cassidy, probably, wasn't satisfied with William's punishment being just death by her, Charlie, and the missing children's hands.
So she stays around, probably assuming that William Afton is still alive, and that's enough to deny her rest.
So, cut forward a while later, and we have another brat that was killed by William Afton, cause we know he killed a lotta brats. This one, is Andrew, who hasn't been able to rest because he doesn't have the knowledge that his killer isn't, well, you know, fucking dead.
Probably also was unable to get his revenge because he was never able to find the fucker.
So, Cassidy tells Andrew that William Afton is still alive and Andrew? Well, how would he be able to tell if she's lying or not? Hell, Cassidy doesn't know for sure if William is alive, but if she acts like she does, shares that she too, was murdered by William and seeking her revenge, and has a noticeable amount of anger behind it.
Who can say what she says isn't true?
So, they strike a deal. Find William Afton, make him suffer for all he's done to them and the other children he's murdered.
I would believe that they would further convince themselves that they aren't doing this just for themselves, but for the other children who was unable to seek their own justice for being murdered.
So, let us assume that Cassidy and Andrew both arrive at the location in FNAF 3, finding the burnt corpse of one William Afton. They then do some fuckery with Agony and the place burning down to create some kind of body that they place him into or whatever.
Said body, made mostly of Agony, is highly unstable and could be easily taken out.
Which is where Andrew would come in.
He keeps William Afton perfectly fine and dandy in the physical world while Cassidy crafts the perfect hell for William Afton. It takes some trial and error, which she gets better and better at crafting it which would cause it to get harder and harder as time goes on.
But, alas, she hit a wall.
She doesn't have enough power to do what she wants, and her ideas are running out.
So she goes to the afterlife.
Not to rest, no, to ponder on how the hell she can make William Afton's dream hell even worse. Leaving Andrew to take control of William's torment, which he gladly takes too.
There, she meets Old Man Consequences, who obviously tells her that she needs to rest and to let go of her hatred because she's dragging this out for longer than it should've been and he already had his punishment yada yada.
Cassidy then laves to wander and ponder.
There, she meets a familiar face.
C.C.
There it was, the perfect piece of the puzzle!
C.C's agony was, and she means it, stronger than her own. His sadness, fear, and well, despair proved to make a far more potent source of Agony than her own fueled by anger and vengeance.
So, she manages to convince him to come back to the living world with her, she needs him, needs his power and she would like to have one of her few friends back and standing at her side.
How could C.C say no, after just a little more convincing?
However, C.C's own recognition of his power and how to use it is, well, certainly far lacking than Cassidy's own. But C.C didn't need to do anything, she just needed permission to tap into his power, and she'll take care off the rest.
When they returned to the living world, Afton's purgatory got worse and worse, changed a bit by Andrew's design, more difficulty, then molded even further by Cassidy's newfound power and C.C's own experiences with the nightmares he's had throughout his life.
Cassidy was the main architect of William Afton's personal hell, Andrew was the one who guarded it's gates and C.C was the source of power making this entire thing possible.
Of course, that doesn't mean that Andrew or C.C couldn't pitch in with new ideas here and there.
===
Okay! That's it!
Basically a mini-theory but honestly? I don't even know if this counts as a theory since I have like, not much understanding of FNAF lore as a whole lmao.
Just a brainfart I wanted to expand a little more about I guess!
Honestly? Seems more like an au not gonna lie.
#fnaf#five nights at freddy's#fnaf cassidy#cassidy fnaf#the crying child#c.c.#c.c afton#andrew fnaf#fnaf andrew#william afton#Mini-theory that seems more like an au lmao#Brainfart more likely just want to expand on it

EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE TEEN WOLF MOVIE
bc I hate it more than I've ever hated anything in my life 😭
Allison is back from the dead and somehow stays alive by the end of the movie as if that's not unnatural af !!! Like she's a human? how is that a thing? why did they do this? I love Allison, I really do but her coming back to life and not being laid back to rest by the end of the movie was so psycho and bizarre. Idk why they made that choice but I hated it
Derek apparently had a child 15 years ago and Allison died 15 years ago so somehow he had a child in season 3? When? When would he have time to do that? He was literally with Jennifer that season 🤨 so when did he make this kid who he seemed to have always been in the life of ? the math isn't mathing. ik teen wolf math sometimes doesn't make sense but I excused it bc I like the show but since I hate this fucking movie I will not excuse it. Jeff Davis tell me how the fuck Derek somehow had a kid in season 3!?
Who is the mother of Derek's child? (We all know that Stiles is the other parent) but fr why is she not mentioned at fucking all??? like it felt so unnatural, like they were specifically talking around it or some shit. I swear Eli never even says the word mom once!! how? why do they act like she doesn't exist? at this point I'm gonna assume Derek made this child asexually through budding or some shit cus wtf
IK Dylan O didn't want to be in the movie but they didn't have to do everything in their power to pretend Stiles didn't exist. The only references to him were the Jeep and Lydia's dumb dream. It made it seem like Stiles doesn't keep up with them anymore and that they don't keep up with him, and that's including his fucking dad. It's so unnatural and ew. I'm also very sad that Kira wasn't here but ik why Arden didn't want to do it. Fuck Jeff tbh. Kira was barely mentioned also, I don't think they EVER said anything about her at all. It's giving Jeff is bitter or smth.
This movie dragged so bad, it was boring as shit and I struggled to get to the 2 hour mark. It was actually painful for me to watch . I wanted to skip through every scene basically, trying to get to SOMETHING interesting, but it was rare that anything like that was going on
Some of the style choices were weird. The clothes they had Deaton in weren't right, it didn't feel like something he'd wear at all. Also so weird to see Chris in a turtleneck, idk if he's worn one before but it looked weird. Peter ate though, I have to give them that.
WHY WOULD MASON BE A FUCKING COP? What about him screams cop? 😐 He should be working with Melissa at the hospital or doing LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.
Parrish and Malia 😐 disgusting. He knew her as a teen!!! like hello?? that's weird af! I already hated him and Lydia, bc why is he going after a freshly turned 18 y/o and I was hoping that the writers would know better by now then to do this weird shit but obviously they didn't
What exactly was Harris back for? He barely explained what happened to him or what he knew? It was dumb. If they left him out, I don't think it would've impacted the movie or what we know about Harris at all. Also, I don't remember if they explained but why was he alive anyway?
Abolish Eichen House
Some of the sets were very ugg and didn't feel like teen wolf at all
Peter sniffing the ground like a dog ☠️☠️☠️ SO UGLY 😭 but so hilarious, best scene hands down
Curse count: 9 Shits and 2 Motherfuckers (both from Chris which is funny asf)
The movie was not fun, it didn't have the fun vibes of the original show, all the jokes were meh and didn't live up to the source material.
who tf is Eli's mom 😐 I'm serious
why did former best friends Mason and Liam barely say one word to each other 😐😐😐😐 idc if they had no time, they should've been hugging and crying in the background or some shit
Why did they decide to make Derek burn???? LIKE HUH??? That was sick ! The worse possible death they could've given him! Like that's TRAUMATIC!!! Like were we meant to think this was poetic or smth?? cus I don't. I just think it's sick and weird. Not only that but they made him leave his kid. at this point why'd they even give him a kid just to kill him off. it also kind of felt like they exchanged a dead person for an alive person
the way Liam and Hikari pronounced I love you in Japanese was so bad. im not a language expert but that didn't sound right at all. truly horrendous, get a language coach on set or smth cus that ain't it
them having Allison come back and go back to dating Scott felt very character regressiony for him. like ik he loved allison but so what? you don't need to always end up with your first love. he literally was able to move past her death and get in other relationships. it didn't feel like he was holding a torch for her, it felt like he was able to get past it but now it doesn't. idk it's weird
seeing clips from the tv show made me wanna take the shit off my screen and put on the real show
and lastly this movie didn't need to exist and is not canon in my head
#nonsims#teen wolf movie#spoiler#warning#long post#bc im mad#if there are typos idgas#bye#don't watch this shit yall#and if you do#i hope you heal after watching#teen wolf#teen wolf movie spoilers
