Writing System
This is super important, before we begin with learning words and sentences.
Japanese has 3 writing systems so to speak. Two of them are syllabaries, you may refer to them as "Alphabets", and the third writing system is sort of symbol based, like Chinese.
There's also ROMAJI. Which we'll be using to help you learn sounds and to speak. But please, work on learning the syllabaries as soon as possible. Romaji is terrible for many reasons, including the fact that everyone and their mother writes Romaji in a different way. You may notice that my Romaji is different than some others you've come across. So again. Try to get away from it as soon as possible. Don't be afraid. I know you can do it!
We'll start with Kana, namely Hiragana as you'll be seeing it the most.
HIRAGANA
Hiragana is used mainly for native Japanese words. You will see Hiragana everywhere. So you'll be wanting to learn that first.
A:あ I:い U:う E:え O:お
Ka:か Ki:き Ku:く Ke:け Ko:こ
Sa:さ Shi:し Su:す Se:せ So:そ
Ta:た Chi:ち Tsu:つ Te:て To:と
Na:な Ni:に Nu:ぬ Ne:ね No:の
Ha:は Hi:ひ Fu:ふ He:へ Ho:ほ
Ma:ま Mi:み Mu:む Me:め Mo:も
Ya:や Yu:ゆ Yo:よ *yes there are only 3 of these
Ra:ら Ri:り Ru:る Re:れ Ro:ろ
Wa:わ Wo:を *yes there's only 2 of these
N:ん
Okay, now some of these characters get whats called a "Dakuten" that's a little " or ゜that's next to the Hiragana that changes it's sound. those are as follows:
Ga:が Gi:ぎ Gu:ぐ Ge:げ Go:ご
Za:ざ Ji:じ Zu:ず Ze:ぜ Zo:ぞ
Da:だ Zi:ぢ Dzu:づ De:で Do:ど
Ba:ば Bi:び Bu:ぶ Be:べ Bo:ぼ
Pa:ぱ Pi:ぴ Pu:ぷ Pe:ぺ Po:ぽ
ぱ ぴ ぷ ぺ ぽ are the only ones that use the ゜dakuten.
You'll notice that 「ぢ」sounds like "zi" ... or "dzi"... and not "di" and that 「づ」sounds like "dzu" and not "du" ... that's.... that's a pain in the butt but it is what it is. In order to get the "di" sound it's written 「でぃ」"de" and a little "i" makes "di" ... and actually you'll probably only ever see that written in Katakana 「ディ」
Which brings me to the next part. Little vowels and Little Y sounds.
We covered some of the little y sounds last lesson. You'll see more little Ys than little vowels. The biggest thing you need to remember about little Ys is that they're always stuck to an "-i" character.
You'll notice some of these don't have "y"s in the romaji reading. Don't freak. That's just how it works. And is part of the reason I don't like Romaji.
Like I said you'll also see little vowels: ぁ ぃ ぅ ぇ ぉ but like with 「ディ」"di" you'll probably only ever see them in Katakana. Here's a few anyway:
Fa:ふぁ Fi:ふぃ Fe:ふぇ Fo:ふぉ
She:しぇ Je:じぇ Che:ちぇ Ti:てぃ Di:でぃ
Finally there's little "tsu" っ this little symbol DOUBLES the next consonant!
っか = kka っさ = ssa
etc. a っ can be near any other kana it doesn't really have a restriction besides not coming before あ, い, う, え, お, or ANY of the "N"s
If you come across a double n it will be written with the lone N first 「ん」 followed by one of the Ns with a vowel next to it.
Ex: Konnichiwa = こんにちは
Like English the double consonant doesn't change the sound, it just lengthens it by a fraction (if even that).
っき = "kki" pronounced the same as "ki" って= "tte" pronounced the same as "te"
Does that make sense? :)
KATAKANA (less explanation here because it's the same rules and sounds)
Katakana is used mainly for loan words. Words borrowed from other languages. It's also used in some names.
A:ア I:イ U:ウ E:エ O:オ
Ka:カ Ki:キ Ku:ク Ke:ケ Ko:コ
Sa:サ Shi:シ Su:ス Se:セ So:ソ
Ta:タ Chi:チ Tsu:ツ Te:テ To:ト
Na:ナ Ni:ニ Nu:ヌ Ne:ネ No:ノ
Ha:ハ Hi:ヒ Fu:フ He:ヘ Ho:ホ
Ma:マ Mi:ミ Mu:ム Me:メ Mo:モ
Ya:ヤ Yu:ユ Yo:ヨ
Ra:ラ Ri:リ Ru:ル Re:レ Ro:ロ
Wa:ワ Wo:ヲ
N:ン
Ga:ガ Gi:ギ Gu:グ Ge:ゲ Go:ゴ
Za:ザ Ji:ジ Zu:ズ Ze:ゼ Zo:ゾ
Da:ダ Dzi:ヂ Dzu:ヅ De:デ Do:ド
Ba:バ Bi:ビ Bu:ブ Be:ベ Bo:ボ
... there are probably other possibilities I've left out, but these are all the common ones you should see. and even if that's not true I trust that you can see and understand the pattern here. :)
KANJI There's thousands of Kanji, so I'm not going to list. I will have Kanji in with the lessons, but learn them at your own pace. No worries. :) I've found that once I got to the point where I could start learning Kanji it's made reading a lot easier for me.
Sorry if this is a HELLISH ammount. Just write the syllabaries down and come back to them now and then as reference. You don't have to learn them all today, or this week, or even this month. I just want you to be familiar with them. :)

lmao u thought, i doubt you d write an angst-ending fic 😌 felix and jisung,,,,? 👀 very sus and interesting. joking just really isnt chan s forte 😔 but seeing chan trying to be funny is something i would want to see every day :"> im really glad to know that you re planning on reaching this til 4 seasons :">>>>>
omaygad hi 🍕 👉👈 damn, good luck on your work <33 and its fine hehe, as ash said, no pressure in responding huhu take your time and rest as much as possible after work ! thanks for the blog recommendation
i also love food but i dont know how to cook ;-; i mean, i haven t really explored the wonders (??) of cooking yet so you never know, i might be a gordon ramsay in disguise 😎 but yes food is life. as for me, idk... how i am online is how i am irl (with my close friends). i dont really like meeting new people, maybe that s why i appear as a shy type, IDK I JUST DONT REALLY CARE (???) FOR THEM. unless it s a person i really admire or someone who got my attention, then im willing to throw all my shame out of the window to befriend that person. im actually the opposite of you 2. my looks dont look intimidating, not one bit. and that s why no one really takes me seriously 😭 it s not even funny anymore huhu. it s such a drag cuz many people think im a pushover bc of it 😀👍that s why a lot are rude and often steps out of the boundary at first meetings. but it s fine now, the people i hangout with has known me for over 4 to 5 years, so they know when to stop 💀
oh yeah, if the 3 of us are in some kind of kpop group 🤩😎 i feel like 🍕 would be chan bc you really give off big sister vibes ✨. ash would prob be jeongin?? the way how you seem to give off "the sister that needs care and protection 24/7" atmosphere ✨ based on how you described yourself in your friend group AND jeongin is always babied LMAO even though he doesn t like it very much. i can see ash in jeongin 👀
MOVING ON TO THE TEASER, im excited huhu. if you were to make a poll on which smau should you do next (YHM, EHALOJ S2, SLC) i wouldnt be able to choose sINCE im rly looking forward to every single one of your works :"> omaygad im curious about the revelation that will happen once they found out each others identities. will they throw away their pride, accept each other, and live happily ever after ✨✨✨ OR more drama 😎 abangan sa susunod na linggo.
minho is a star, im ded 💀 wut tsunderes are delicious ice-creams ?? i love this comparison 😋 chan representing the infinity symbol is accurate af. actually all of them are, i love the explanations 🤩

onga pala hola sa pinoy anon dyan uWu
true, even my ANGSTY bang chan fic turned into a fluffy jeongin wedding ending 💀🙌 i just can’t be sad, i don’t have a single angsty bone in my body. and yes, 4 seasons at least 🤧♥️ i doubt it’d reach five, but if i think of more arcs, it probably will. i don’t think it would be very long though because chan, changbin, and minho are juniors rn and in season 3, they might be graduating already who knows 👀
you should cook uwu. it’s v v fun!! but i agree, apparently some people are born with it, some people are not :,))) maybe you’re one of the innately talented ones though. either way, learning a skill is still fun even when you’re not good at it right away. i personally come from a cooking family so making food feels like breathing to me that for the longest time, i can’t wrap my head around how other people can’t cook (???like, i can’t grasp the concept). it wasn’t until when i tried to make brazo de mercedes with a friend, we were following the same exact recipe but we were working on separate ones. she ended up making a sugary omelette while i was able to succeed and i was just like ?????? and she was like “i can’t cook 🥴🥴🥴”
as for me, idk why, it’s not that i look intimidating, like, i don’t think i do at all but apparently i exude intimidating vibes. like an “ohohoho” ojou-sama vibe ig 🤥 i’m poor tho so idk why. so many times i’ve heard the phrase “i thought you were mean lol”
you would 100% be jisung tho 🤪🤪🤪. and jeongin pls— 😭😭 honestly i can’t even fault that, i act the same way around my older siblings, i’m also *very* clumsy (i have very fast reflexes though so it balances it out). like, i can’t think of anyone else. maybe i’m also a little bit of hyunjin? intimidating at first glance but a big softie. i’m also v v sensitive 🤧🤧 like, even when i close the door a little too loud i worry if i come off as rude or smth, i’d open and reclose it sometimes actually JSHWJJSSA. i wanna be felix tho 💔
JSHWJSHS don’t worry 💀 seungmin’s smau is gonna finish soon, i doubt that one will take two weeks. then hyunjin i’m currently writing for which is nice— i plan for it to be long so it’ll continue alongside EHALOJ 🥲 i’ll balance them together so two smaus. but ya know, i can handle it 😤. so season 2 will probably be in 2 weeks AT MOST.
and how do you know y/n is talking to hyunjin anonymously hm?? 🤨🤨 why so assuming JKJK
JSHWJSHS also thank u for entertaining our shape comparison 😇
“sa pinoy anon”— “hola”

“i currently have nothing to be proud of yet, but i hope by that time, you’ve tried things out of your comfort zone. don’t be afraid to fail.”
this was from a letter i wrote to my future self back in 9th grade. i guess it’s true what they say — you only really realize how bad it was until you’re out of it. i never realized how bad my mental state was in 9th grade until i saw this, because looking back, i had so much to be proud of. by 15, i had done things most 15 year olds haven’t — competing, training 6 times a week, while balancing school and other hobbies. depression is so, so real. (also, i don’t think it helped that i was in a relationship with someone that had a crazy superiority complex. made me feel worthless all the time.)
okay, going back to the reason i wanted to write — i wanted to reply to this specific line. to 9th grade kiana who felt she had no direction.
hey, kiana! thank you for writing to me, even if it was probably just done to comply to a school requirement. i have so much to kwento to you!
first of all, i got into ateneo! i too confident in passing nga eh, so i barely studied. ayan tuloy, my bobo self didn’t pass and had to appeal. but i wouldn’t have had it any other way — the appeal is a constant reminder to myself that i earned my spot, and that i should not take it for granted. i also believe it was God’s way of streeeeetching the hell out of my faith (haha ironic nung word use) pero grabe, i reached a point where i wasn’t worried anymore, because i accepted whatever God wanted for me — whether it was to be in ateneo or not, i did not want to be where he did not want me to be (because that’s really, really scary.) pero ayun! here i am, going into 12th grade na! i’m even a head of a committee in an org called Alunsina that advocates for diversity and awareness of other fililpino ethnolinguistic groups, which is an advocacy that would play a huge role of shaping you into the person you are now.
which brings me to my next kwento — i’m part of two other outside orgs, save our schools network, which advocates mainly for the lumads, and save san roque, which advocates for the urban poor. pero mainly, nakasentro ako sa save our schools. i was really busy helping them prepare for their graduation and all! i’ve also formed a lot of meaningful relationships with lumad students that constantly inspire me. i love them so much.
aside from that, i also decided to continue art. i know you used to doubt yourself when it came to art stuff no matter how much you loved it, so here i am, proving you wrong chz! but seriously, i’m applying to some art schools in the states, mostly for graphic design maybe! but also art studies because i love analyzing art and studying the socio-political contexts behind it.
i also write more, now. i think i find a lot of comfort in being able to just freely speak my mind without the fear of anyone judging me. you do let xavier read a lot of your stuff though! hay nako! that’s another kwento.
i’m dating a boy named xavier, and it’s been reaaaaal sweet. i think i’ve grown a lot since my last relationship — i know myself a lot more, which has helped me maintain a healthy relationship. i do get tampo at times but! i never don’t fix things or talk things out. it’s crazy — i never really expected myself to be able to reach this level of maturity considering how toxic my last relationship was. your brain at 15 vs 18 really is different. IF U WOULD BE ABLE TO READ THIS AT 15, PLS, BREAK UP WITH ALON IT ISN’T WORTH IT. LOL.
but i’ve really learned a lot since then. i’ve become wiser, but at the same time, i’ve acknowledged that i can become even more wise than i am now. i’m afraid of staying stagnant, so i always stay open to learning and growing. i don’t want to be a bad person!!!!! ever!!!!!
so i guess, it’s up to you to decide now, 9th grade kiana. are you proud of me? because i definitely am :)

Vowels are written independently only they start a syllable. Start learning the way to write in Telugu by that specialize in the individual letters first. The individual vowels (అచ్చులు - acchulu) are: అ ఆ ఇ ఈ ఉ ఊ ఋ ౠ ఎ ఏ ఐ ఒ ఓ ఔ అం అః , pronounced respectively as a, aa, i (as in pit), ii (as in meet), u (as it put), uu (as in root), ru ( as in prude), ruu (as in crude), e (as in peck), ae (as in cake), ai (as in my), o (as in show), O (as in row), ou (as in cow), am (as in mum) and aha. You can find an inventory of those symbols at https://www.omniglot.com/writing/telugu.htm.
How to Learn Telugu Reading And Writing
Set aside time to write down in Telugu script daily. If you’re wont to writing in Latin script, Telugu lettering may appear impossibly difficult. However, with daily practice, you’ll get the hang of the letter formations more quickly than you would possibly expect. The important thing is to dedicate yourself to learning by keeping your ultimate goal in mind. Grab some Telugu-language books and replica the script you see in them. Eventually, test yourself by translating texts from Latin script to Telugu script. Identify the parts of speech in Telugu grammar. To master Telugu grammar (వ్యాకరణ - vyaakarana), you’ll probably need the assistance of a Telugu tutor or a Telugu writing class. However, you'll begin by identifying the parts of speech (భాషాభాగాలు - bhaashaabhaagaalu) of Telugu words. The parts of speech are: - నామవాచకం - Noun (naamavaachakam) - సర్వనామం - Pronoun (sarvanaamam) - క్రియ- Verb (kriya) - విశేషణం - Adjective (visaeshanam) - అవ్యయం - Adverb (avyayam) Practice Telugu grammar rules for prepositions, negations, and questions. Once you become comfortable writing in Telugu script and identifying the parts of speech (nouns, verbs, etc.), advance to tougher grammatical practice. For instance, work on identifying and placing prepositions, negations, and questions in Telugu writing. Examples of prepositions:  - He came together with his small dog - తన చిన్న కుక్క వచ్చిన - (Tana cinna kukka vaccina);  - I eat without a knife - నేను కత్తి లేకుండా తినడానికి - (Nēnu katti lēkuṇḍā tinaḍāniki) Examples of negation (compare the following):  - I understand you - నేను మీరు అర్థం - (Nēnu mīru arthaṁ);  - I don’t understand you - నేను మీరు అర్ధం కాదు - (Nēnu mīru ardhaṁ kādu) Examples of questions:  - what's your name? - మీ పేరు ఏమిటి? - (Mī pēru ēmiṭi?);  - what proportion is this? - ఈ ఎంత ఉంది? - (Ī enta undi?)
Learning Telugu through Daily Immersion
- Set your specific goal for learning Telugu. Start by asking yourself why you would like to find out Telugu—is it to urge in-tuned together with your heritage, steel oneself against a visit, impress someone, or simply to broaden your horizons? Once you’ve established your goal, build your plan around achieving it. - For instance, say you’re taking a visit to Andhra Pradesh in 3 months and need to manage basic communication in Telugu. during this case, specializing in learning the foremost common conversational words and phrases. - Memorize 30 common Telugu words per day. the thought here is that, after 90 days, you’ll have learned 2,700 of the foremost common Telugu words. And, like most languages, knowing the foremost common 2,700 words will cause you to conversant in about 80% of the words utilized in Telugu writing or conversation. - This 90-day plan might not be ideal in every situation, counting on your specific goals for learning Telugu. However, it's broadly useful thanks to learning the fundamentals of a language during a fairly short amount of your time. - Schedule 30-60 minutes for your daily list of 30 Telugu words. It’s important to form your plan and stick with it. to urge your glossary, draw from vocabulary lists found in Telugu language-learning books or websites. Or, draw from an inventory of the foremost common words in English (or your native language) and use a web tool like Google Translate. - While they'll seem old-fashioned, flashcards are a tried-and-true thanks to devouring words during a new language. - Work with a teacher or use a Telugu language program. you'll manage just fine by going it alone and learning your 30 words per day. However, many of us find it helpful to figure out a teacher or invest during a language-learning program. - There are numerous Telugu language-learning programs available online. Explore several options and choose one that suits your goals for learning the language. - Hiring a Telugu tutor could also be a pricier option, and it's going to be hard to seek out a Telugu tutor where you reside. However, some people learn more quickly through one-on-one interaction. - Integrate Telugu into your home life and daily activities. Sprinkle the language into your day-to-day activities once your vocabulary begins to grow. for instance, label things in your house with their Telugu names, placed on Telugu-language music as you create dinner, or practice reading kids’ books in Telugu. - Eventually, you would possibly want to offer yourself a greater test by switching your phone over to Telugu. - Immerse yourself more fully in Telugu after about 60 days. If you’re learning 30 words per day, you’ll have a vocabulary of about 1,800 words after 2 months. At now, you’ll be ready to “dive in” to Telugu conversations and devour on a minimum of a number of what the Telugu speakers are saying. - If you've got friends who speak Telugu, ask them to hold on a conversation while you follow along--and even take part. - Alternatively, watch online videos in Telugu and switch the subtitles off when you’re able to test yourself. - Listen and watch native speakers use Telugu. When observing others speaking Telugu, focus not only on the words they use but their inflections, facial and hand gestures, visual communication, then forth. this sort of close watching and listening is extremely helpful in becoming familiar with everyday Telugu. - Brush off your mistakes and keep practicing your Telugu. People often think kids are better at learning new languages because their brains are different. However, the important reason could also be that they have a tendency to be less self-conscious about trying things out, making mistakes, and trying again. So, free your inner child while you learn Telugu! - If you mangle your words or ask a nonsensical question, laugh it off and check out again. Most Telugu speakers, like native speakers of languages around the world, are happy when non-natives attempt to speak their language. rather than being insulted that you are simply tousled, they’ll likely be wanting to assist you out.
Making Basic Conversation of Telugu
Greet people by saying namaskārām. this is often the formal thanks to saying "hello" in Telugu. The word is actually the Telugu version of the quality Indian greeting "namaste." Telugu speakers also will understand you if you merely say namaste, although this is often considered less formal. You can also use greetings that reflect the time of the day. for instance, within the morning you would possibly say shubhodayam, which suggests "good morning." The afternoon greeting is shubha madhyanam. There is no specific evening greeting in Telugu. Use namaskārām or namaste. Continue the conversation by asking Meeru aelaa unnaaru? This question means "how are you?" the quality response typically would be naenu baagunnaanu, meeru aelaa unnaaru? ("I'm fine/doing well, how are you?") For a more polite response, say Naenu baagunnaanu, dhanyavaadhamulu, mari meeru? this suggests "I'm fine, thanks, and yourself?" The phrase mari meeru means "and you" or "and yourself," so if the opposite person asked first, don't include this a part of the sentence. Use the phrase naa paeru to introduce yourself. Naa paeru means "my name is." After giving your name, you'll ask Mee paeraemaṅdi? this suggests "What is your name?" you'll also simply say mari meeru after your name. For example, naa paeru Divya, mari meeru? means "My name is Divya, and you?" Culturally, it's considered more polite to inform the opposite person your name before asking theirs.   After the person tells you their name, you'll say mimmalni kalavadam chaalaa saṅthoashaṅgaa uṅdhi, which suggests "pleased to satisfy you." Explain that you simply don't speak Telugu alright . If you've gotten this far into a conversation with a native-speaker of Telugu, you likely want to allow them to know that you've got just started learning the language.   Someone may ask you "Meeru thelugu maatlaadathaaraa?" they're asking "Do you speak Telugu?" you would possibly reply "avunu koṅcham maathrame," which suggests "yes, only a touch ."   If you do not understand what someone is saying, you'll simply say "artham kaaledu," which suggests "I don't understand." you'll also say "dhayachaesi mallee cheppaṅdi" ("please say that again") or "dhayachaesi nemmadhigaa matlaadaṅdi" ("please speak more slowly"). - What is Python? | What is Python used for | How to learn Python - How To Study Faster: 50 Tricks to study Faster and More Effectively - How to Play Guitar – Learn to Play Guitar - How To Block Or Unblock Someone On Facebook: Android & Desktop - How To Convert Image To PDF For Free Using Mobile or Laptop: Easy Steps
Learn Telugu Words
Use polite words and phrases to point out respect for others. Being polite and courteous is vital in any culture. Especially if you're just starting to learn the language, show people chatting with you that you simply appreciate them and are grateful for his or their assistance. - Daayacheysee means "please." - Dhanyavaadaaloo means "thank you." If someone says this to you, say maa saṅthoasham back. - Kshaminchandee means "sorry." - Maa kshamaapanalu means "Our apologies." Close the conversation by saying veedukolu. When the conversation is over, this is often a standard , more formal thanks to say "goodbye" in Telugu. you'll also say "vellostaanu" or "ika selavu." If it's late within the evening and you would like to mention "goodnight," say "shubha raathri." You can also say "mītō māṭlāḍaḍaṁ bāgunnadi," which suggests "it was nice lecture you."

Find a conversation partner locally or online. one among the simplest ways to enhance your language proficiency and expand your grammar is to speak to native speakers. If you cannot find someone locally to talk Telugu with, use a web site like WeSpeke or Busuu to seek out a conversation partner. In many cases, these partnerships are tandem learning opportunities. for instance, if you speak English and need to find out Telugu, you'd be matched with a native Telugu speaker who wants to find out English. During your sessions, you'd converse a part of the time in English, the remainder of the time in Telugu. With any conversation exchange, you will get out of it the maximum amount as you set in. Take the method seriously. Write down words or phrases that you simply don't understand and practice them before your next meeting. Label items in your home with Telugu words. Get some sticky notes or cards and write Telugu words for furniture, foods, and other objects in your home. Any time you pass a note, say the word aloud. Over time, you'll come to consider that item by its Telugu word and we know completely how to Learn Telugu. You can download vocabulary lists for common items round the house on the web for free of charge. the training Telugu website (How to Learn Tulugu) has an in depth vocabulary list. The list includes the transliterated and script version of the word. If you learn Telugu script, you'll revisit your labels and add the script if you would like. You don't need to stop at the name of the thing itself. you'll also use these labels to familiarize yourself with the Telugu words for colors, or other descriptive words like "hard" or "soft." Conjugate verbs with the acceptable personal ending. like many other languages, in Telugu you add a suffix to the verb stem to point who is doing the action. Read the full article

EP2: Thesismates
Tumblr media
Em grunts.
The class tries to sort out their thesis partners for the rest of the semester and unluckily, she draws an unfamiliar name. It takes her a few seconds to remember that Miguel Lopez is an irregular student who is a year older than her. Ugh, she says for the nth time. Of all people.
Lopez is actually an ‘okay’ student in her head. Diligently attends classes, shows up when he’s needed, and answers during recitations but with a few stutter words in between. The problem is she doesn't know his writing (and video-editing) abilities and she might end up doing all the work. For their final thesis requirement, the class is divided into pairs and each pair is required to create an hour-long film.
On the other hand, she wants to come up with a masterpiece — something that can pass as an entry to film festivals.
She exchanges numbers with him and adds him on Facebook for a more convenient way of communication. “Meron ka na bang idea?”
“Sa?”
“Genre.”
“Sci-fi?” Em tries her best not to snort. A simple film under the drama category would have cost them thousands just from finding shooting locations. She will not be surprised if sci-fi would cost half a million. “Ang hirap nu’n.”
“Pero astig,” he grins, and she realizes that he’s teasing her.
“I like drama,” she responds, without a hint of amusement in her tone.
“Korni.”
Em fights the urge to smack him in the face. “Alam mo namang mahirap ‘yung sci-fi.”
“E ‘yun nga ‘yung challenge do’n.”
She notices that he’s been staring at her intently the entire time and it is making her uncomfortable, in a weird way. She decides to challenge him back. “Baka ‘yang mindset na ‘yan ‘yung rason, she pauses shortly. “Kung bakit hindi ka pumasa.”
Em knows she struck a nerve. She feels a little bad about it, but right now, she just wants to answer back and make him shut up. Her friends are already partnered with talented individuals and being stuck with someone she barely knows makes her more pissed.
For the first time, he looks away and his next words feel indifferent. “Hindi mo kailangang ulit-ulitin.”
Lopez did not talk to her for the rest of the class, nor for the rest of the week.
//
The other pairs are already making progress with their theses and Em feels more frustrated than ever. A week of silence from her thesis mate made her realize that she’s in the wrong; she knows she should have never said that. Lopez is only offering his ideas and it is not her fault that he got chosen as her partner. It is the result of random draw lots and using his past failure against him is way, way below a person’s belt.
She decides that he reaches out to him today, through Facebook, and it is a good thing that he’s online.
hey
Hi
free ka this sat?
Bakit
Em panics. He’s still mad, she says in her head, but I have to be nice, right? I’m the wrong one here.
pwede sana tayong mag-meet for thesis?
Di pwede after school?
taray naman :( ano sana, treat kita coffee tapos review tayo ng local films for references?
He leaves her on seen, which infuriates her further. I’m being nice here!!
The video icon on top of their conversation has pulsating circles around it, indicating that he’s still in the chatbox. Maybe he wants me to say something else?
look here.. i’m sorry.
For?
being an ass during our last encounter. i was pissed that i drew your name and wasn't even partnered with someone in my class. i know, i know, not your fault, and i shifted my blame to you. so please help me get rid of this guilty feeling and let me treat you to a cup of coffee?
The chat box is quiet for a few minutes, and his next reply leaves her in shock.
Sure ka bang hindi mo ako inaayang mag-date?
Em can’t believe her eyes. Here she is, apologizing for the first time (probably during her entire college life) and this is the reply she gets. The only thing that confuses her is the tinge of excitement and embarrassment that she felt a minute ago when she first read his message. Now, it’s a mixture of disbelief and shock.
of course not! i mean business when i said that. okay lang naman na hindi but please, tell me you’ve forgiven me so we can move on and work on our thesis with no hard feelings.
He sends a laughing sticker.
Ganun kadali? First time mong mag-sorry Em?
Em? Are they on a first-name basis now?
why are you calling me em???? close ba tayo
Ano gusto mo tawag ko sayo? Bb?
syempre hinde!!!! ano nga kasi :( please stop teasing me okay i promise to be a proper thesismate without shaming you from now on. u like sb or cbtl?
Or
aahh :(
Hindi ako nagkakape e
hala sayang. e milktea?
Pwede pwede
ok noted. gusto mo this sat or sa tapat nalang ng school?
Di legit yung nasa tapat ng school. Sat nalang
ok what time?
Ano oras ka ba free
i prefer hapon, di kasi ako morning person. so sino magdadala ng laptop for the films?
Ayaw mo bago? Palabas na Parasite ah
e sikat na yun e, baka ma-ruin yung movie kasi may expectations na ako before ko panoorin
Kukuha lang ng ideas e
sige na nga, ako naman nagso-sorry. milktea lang ah?
Tsaka borger at frays
ba demanding naman nito??
Samahan mo na rin ng protas
ha?? maysakit ka ba??
Puro ka kasi aral di mo alam yung trending. Sige na may gagawin pa ako
ok. magkikita pa naman tayo bukas sa class e. thanks for talking to me. have a nice day. :)
Ikaw din
Em closes her Messenger app after reacting ‘like’ to his last message and proceeds to take a bath. Half an hour later, she emerges from the bathroom, and gets curious if Lopez sent another message.
Apparently, he did.
Bb date to ah, wag mo kalimutan
She wonders why she never bothered correcting him and only decided to react 'haha' back.

Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, Love Live for the ask meme
STRAP YOURSELVES IN, KIDDOS. THIS IS A FUCKING ESSAY RIGHT HERE.
Ace Attorney:
Favorite Male Character: Miles Edgeworth. Shi-Long Lang is great as well. I also have a soft spot for Klavier, Sebastian and Apollo. And, naturally, my space son, Clay Terran.
Favorite Female Character: Kay Faraday!! Props also go to Mia Fey and Trucy Wright, as well as Athena and Jinxie.
Favorite Het Ship: Farabeste (Sebastian/Kay). Cykesquill as well, but I’m very specific about how and when I like it...like, ridiculously specific. Diego/Mia is good as well. For something more ridiculous that I think would be fun, Clay and Athena could have had a great dynamic. Maybe even Clay and Jinxie, if we go out and be totally wild.
Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Klapollo, Langworth, Nahyuta/Simon. Vera/Trucy, lady Cykesquill, Robin/Myriam and Athena/Juniper for the ladies.
Least Favorite Male Character: how to I condense the list of the bastards? Kristoph is evil, but I cannot deny he had charm as a character - he’s terrifying, but fascinating, so I cannot name him as my least favourite. I think I’ll go with either von Karma or Blaze Debeste. They’re responsible for so much misery, and they don’t have any tragic reasons for being the way they are.
Least Favorite Female Character: Ma//ya Fe//y. I know the reasons people have for liking her, and I can forgive some flaws in writing, but she simply has too many of them. I know she is a courageous girl who ultimately wishes to do good, but the way she acts, especially in the first two games... just make me go ‘hmmmm’. Honestly, my favourite games in the series are those where I don’t get to see her. Young Pearl is also very low down on the list, and she was my least favourite for a long while, but her teenage years made me soften up to her, she’s pretty great in DD.
Least Favorite Het Ship: anything that encourages abuse, like Grant/Lana? Why would you do this? Also, I’m not fond of Athena/Apollo or Juniper/Apollo. Apollo is far too gay in my eyes to ever be together with a girl. Phoenix/Maya is another one I dislike.
Least Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): same rule as above applies. Aside from those, I... don’t have many slash ships I actively dislike, surprisingly? My main one would be Wri//ght//wor//th, since, in my opinion, it’s very overhyped, and I cannot turn around in this fandom without seeing it, but even that is mostly just...annoyance.
Dirty Little Secret: I haven’t forgotten about my dumbass theory. I’m just...really fucking slow.
Headcanon(s): this will need to be answered in its own separate asks. I have headcanons for everyone. For now, though - Jinxie Tenma is a Fey.
Unpopular Opinion(s): I like Gyakuten Kenji far more than the original games. In general, games with a protag that’s not Phoenix and newer games in the series I tend to like more. Not to imply that the original trilogy was bad or anything, but... Edgeworth is far more solid as a protagonist, not only because his side was relatively unexplored, but because his investigation methods were so much more sensible. Phoenix has this ‘wing it’ approach, which works fine, until you see past it. When you see past it, the tension build-up it tries to pull fails massively, and you just get annoyed by Phoenix never thinking ahead for anything, or being oblivious. With Edgeworth, when there are moments of tension, they appear because of something genuinely unexpected, or because Edgeworth made a miscalculation (which allows character growth). Even when Edgeworth has to pull dumb or crazy shit, it feels like it makes sense, because he thinks, even when he panics. Also, Phoenix is tied down by the worst accompanying duo of Maya and Pearl all the time, while Edgeworth acquires an absolutely amazing set of sidekicks (and he not only gets fun new ones, like Kay and Lang, but there’s so much detail in his interactions with Gumshoe, Franziska and Larry as well? It was great to see the Edgeworth/Larry dynamic of the friendship). Plus, I like the Logic Chess things, the soundtrack is my favourite (how exactly COULD you even attempt to top Shi-Long Lang’s theme???), at least if we’re not counting PLvsAA as a part of this universe, and I like the visuals of it much better. In short, everybody should play these fucking games right fucking now, and storm Capcom offices so they actually port GK2 for the Western market.
A lot of the same criteria apply for the newer games, too. While DD was a comeback for Phoenix, it was a game with mixed protagonists, and it was a new Phoenix as well. Apollo probably has my second favourite supporting character crew after Edgeworth, and, at the time, his Perceive mechanic was refreshing to see after being stuck to the same gimmick for 3 games. Same with Athena. She differs dractically from both Phoenix and Apollo, and brings a new mechanic and a new set of associated people. In other words? I’m happy this series is trying new things, and exploring extra protagonists where it can. It has improved a whole bunch as a result.
Danganronpa:
Favorite Male Character: Byakuya Togami, Kiyotaka Ishimaru. Nagisa Shingetsu. Gundham Tanaka, Hajime Hinata, Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko, Nagito Komaeda. Shuuichi Saihara, Ouma Kokichi, Rantarou Amami.
Favorite Female Character: Aoi Asahina, Celes, Touko Fukawa. Sonia Nevermind, Peko Pekoyama, Akane Owari, Ibuki Mioda. Angie Yonaga, Kirumi Toujou, Maki Harukawa, Tenko Chabashira.
Favorite Het Ship: Togami/Asahina, Ishimaru/Asahina, Hinata/Ibuki, Tanaka/Pekoyama (I’m especially fond of this one, also titled Soft Animals Edge Duo). Sonia/Kuzuryuu is also great, though that is a platonic ship, as I headcanon Sonia as aro.
Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Naegi/Ishimaru, Naegi/Togami. KomaNaegi is quite pure, but a friend also got me into KomaSouda as a complimentary ship to TanaPeko. A crackship, but still a favourite is Izuru/Ryouta. And, of course, the ultimate fave - Saiouma. (A nice shoutout also goes to Oumota and Amamota). As for the ladies, Kirizono and Celesgiri, and all gay Asahina ships are good, SoniAkane & Pekobuki. In V3, Tenko is mega gay, so there’s a chance for every gay ship, however, my favourite one is Tenko/Maki. If we’re talking non-Tenko ships, Angie/Maki sounds fun.
Least Favorite Male Character: in DR1, surprisingly, none. Well, Hagakure can get on my nerves, but I like just alright all of them. In SDR2, Nidai, in my opinion, didn’t have that great of a development, so I guess him. Though I also have plenty of issues with Souda. In V3, Gon//ta Go//ku//ha//ra.
Least Favorite Female Character: All DR1 girls are good, and even if they aren’t, they’re at least interesting or entertaining. But if I have to pick, Junko, if we’re judging morality. In SDR2, Mi//kan Tsu//mi//ki and Hi//yo//ko Sai//onji,in terms of morality and/or being dicks. In terms of rather poor writing (despite having a good idea), Chi//a//ki Na//na//mi. In V3, H//i//m//i//k//o Y//u//m//e//n//o and K//a//e//d//e A//k//a//m//a//t//s//u. The final one is also my least favourite in the entirety of the series as a whole.
Least Favorite Het Ship: Jun//ko//ma//e//da. In general, any Junko ship is not very good for plenty of reasons. Na//e//gi//ri. In SDR2, Souda/Sonia (she’s clearly not comfortable with him), Nidai/Akane, Hi//na//na//mi.. Not sure if should be mentioned here, but romantic Kuzupeko? Mostly because I cannot picture it as a thing. I do, however, like them platonically, they do care about each other a whole bunch. In V3, Sa//i//ma//tsu (never make me look at it).
Least Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Chi//hi//mon//do. Even if I do like Mondo okay, it’s not healthy. Ka//mu//ko//ma. Son//dam. Jun//ko//mi//kan? Mahiru/Peko for sure. Kiib//ou//ma, too.
And the one I guarantee I’ll receive anon hate over - Te//n//hi//mi.
Dirty Little Secret: this series somehow manages to combine the good with the ridiculous in such a way that I can accept.
Unpopular Opinion(s): I am the literal embodiment of unpopular opinions in this franchise. I think V3 is the best game of the series, and it had a brilliant twist (both the start one and the final one). I don’t really ship the most popular ships, the obvious exception being Saiouma (and, to an extent, SoniAkane? It’s a popular Akane ship, at least). I think Saihara is a far better protag choice than the other option that was presented, since the story and its structure was made to fit him. I’m the unpopular opinion and rarepair central in this fucking thing. (Please help me.)
Love Live!:
Favorite Male Character: yay for not having prominent males, which means I get to skip 2 more questions here.
Favorite Female Character: In Muse’s, my top 3 is Hanayo, Eli and Maki. In Aquors, my top 3 is You, Kanan and Dia (though Mari and Chika are also very lovable).
Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Makipana! It’s very very cute. I also quite like HonoEli. HonoMaki is also quite nice. In Aquors, YouKanan or DiaKanan.
Least Favorite Female Character: Not unpopular by any means, but Ni//co Ya//za//wa. In terms of singing voice, Kotori. In Aquors, R//i//k//o S//a//k//u//r//a//u//c//h//i.
Least Favorite Slash Ship (both M/M and F/F): Ni//co//ma//ki??? I will never understand why people like it. In Aquors, Chi//ka//ri//ko and You//ri//ko.
Dirty Little Secret: I quite like A-RISE. Every song they’ve ever done is an absolute banger, as the youth says.
Unpopular Opinion(s): would you look at that. Another fandom where I’m the monarch of rarepairs.

How I Write Baybayin (Handwriting and Straight-cut Nib Calligraphy) Subtitle: This is a freaking long-ass post so be warned now
You can read the entirety of this post as is, or you can go straight to the calligraphy portion. It’s at the end of the post (sorry dunno how to link that portion here).
Writer’s Note: First and foremost, I will advise everyone who reads this somewhat master post that I am not an authority when it comes to how baybayin is written, as what you shall be reading is just based mostly on my own experiences on how the characters are written and comparing them with other writing systems that are based on syllables rather than individual letters, like the Japanese Kana and the Korean Hangul, among others. This is because baybayin are not technically letters (individualized, can’t stand alone, only comes either as vowel or consonant but not both, you get the picture), but rather are syllables (i.e. the consonants have free vowels with them lol) that form words.
Also, as far as I know regarding how the baybayin texts are originally written pre-Hispanic colonization era, some of the written texts in the Philippines (or at least, those that survived, or I remember seeing in old history books) were written from right to left, top to bottom. This also coincides with other writing methods in some parts of Asia that also read from right to left. The technique of writing and reading from left to right may be a Western invention, in my opinion so I just did some of the strokes in the baybayin characters go from right to left, except for the straight-cut nib section. Again, I am no authority so I’m just doing what I think makes sense to me, as there is no existing ANCIENT written rules on the stroke order of the baybayin. Other people may disagree with my stroke orders here due to various reasons, but if you’re into what I did then feel free to learn from them, for free. *heart*
This author’s other notes: I won’t be elaborating the history of baybayin here because that would take around (counts how many years I spent in school) 5ever as it basically intertwines with the “current” history of the Filipino people. I put quotes on “current” because every decade or so, some written histories get re-written based on some evidences or what, and I totally respect that. It’s like in scientific papers: legit today, debunked tomorrow. And it’s completely OK, because THE MORE YOU KNOW~
Also this author’s note: I keep calling baybayin alibata, because that’s what they were called when I was a kid and how it was taught by history teachers before the process called “being politically-correct” became the norm. It’s because alibata was supposedly an incorrect term which signifies that the characters were letters based on Arabic, but apparently it wasn’t so.. Yeah. I’m just saying, so the kiddies would know. And if you’re like me who also refers to baybayin as alibata, let’s get a high-five! (Cause you’re also old, but gold =D) Some biased history FTW lol ok let’s get started.
Handwriting Alibata Baybayin Strokes with a Bamboo pen (or Ballpen, or Pencil, w/e floats your boat)
OK, before I start I would be first putting here the somewhat traditional ordering of the baybayin, which is:
A BA KA DA E GA HA I LA MA NA NGA O PA RA SA TA U WA YA
As well as the borrowed/loan syllables (which correspond to C, F, J, Ñ, Q, V, X, and Z were apparently added some 6-7 years ago, in which I didn’t get the memo x__x)
CA FA JA ÑA QA VA XA ZA
OK, now that’s out of the way, it’s time for the actual stuff. For ease of practice and recall, I’m grouping the letters based on how I write them and in turn, their forms. This would make sense as the pictures move along, don’t worry. The forms are built sequentially, I tried making that a bit obvious in the diagrams, but there are red arrows in case I wasn’t that clear. For those that only have one picture or arrows in the sequence, I would be implying that the form is built on a single stroke.
Group 1: A, MA, PA, YA, FA, JA, VA
OK, let’s start with A:
Tumblr media
Then MA:
Tumblr media
PA:
Tumblr media
YA:
Tumblr media
FA:
Tumblr media
JA:
Tumblr media
VA:
Tumblr media
Group 2:  E/I (more on that later), KA, DA, HA, RA, CA, QA, XA
I’ll start with HA because it’s a foundational stroke:
Tumblr media
E:
Tumblr media
I looks structurally like E, but only with a vertical stroke on its hat.
Tumblr media
It’s because originally, E and I were the same character and whether it should be read as a syllable from the E or I line depends on how the reader would read it and the dialect used in writing the words, like it’s a fill-in-the-blanks kind of thing.  It’s also the same with O and U, so if you see that part yeah they look alike. This is also the reason why revisions on writing the E-I and O-U consonants were made, but that would be for a later part. Just be patient for now. =D
Ok, moving on, we’ll go to KA:
Tumblr media
DA:
Tumblr media
RA:
Tumblr media
A short note on DA and RA: In olden times, these two were only one character, and are used interchangeably based on word usage, thus for words such as doon/roon, which both mean way over there one is used for passive and one is used directly (sorry not a speech comm person). This is also the case for marami and ang dami (both meaning “there are many/there is much” but one is active and one is passive. Madami is, IMHO grammatically incorrect. But then again, I’m not a speech comm person so sorry if these are wrong. I’m just saying).
CA:
Tumblr media
QA:
Tumblr media
XA:
Tumblr media
Group 3: O/U, GA, SA, ZA
Just like in E/I, O and U are also structurally similar. To make an O:
Tumblr media
To make it a U, just put a vertical line on the right side:
Tumblr media
GA:
Tumblr media
SA:
Tumblr media
ZA:
Tumblr media
Group 4: LA, NA, TA, ÑA
I grouped this bunch based on having a downward stroke in the middle of the form. The initial strokes are written as a single stroke from left to right, like in the first group.
LA:
Tumblr media
NA:
Tumblr media
TA:
Tumblr media
ÑA:
Tumblr media
Group 5: I have no idea where to put BA, NGA, and WA so I just made a miscellaneous group lol but they deserve just as much love OK?
BA:
Tumblr media
NGA:
Tumblr media
WA:
Tumblr media
How the E, I, O and U lines are written:
In writing E, I, O and U (as in the case for the example below, which is GE, GI, GO, and GU), the original positions of the additional marks (such as the vertical lines for I and U) were kept but in order to differentiate E from I and O from U, the marks were made to be further distinct. For instance, GE is basically GA which has a horizontal line above it, while GI has a dot above it. As for GO, it has a dot below and GU has a horizontal line.
Tumblr media
GI and GO can have either a hollowed dot like in the sample, or can also be filled like the samples below. It’s based on personal preference. Also I used G for the samples because it looks nice, fun to write, and most other examples of alibata on the internet use BA as their examples for this portion. Whoops, I meant, baybayin. XD
Tumblr media
Vowel Killers: Invented by People who Needed It
I’m not entirely sure why vowel killer was the term used but it does tell it exactly what it does: it silences the vowels in the characters (because baybayin is composed of syllables) in order to make separate letters. It was invented by some Spanish friar who couldn’t properly write the native words because words that have consonants at the end were written incompletely. I.E. the word DOON (over there) was written as DO-O in baybayin. It was such a drag that he decided to introduce the Spanish/Latin alphabet by making baybayin characters that acted as alphabets, which is essentially killing all the vowels and leaving the consonant behind. So instead of using dots, the friar made a cross underneath the symbol which they called a kudlit (for obviously non-secular reasons), so that the words with consonant ends can be written and read as they were. As per the revision that was instated a few years ago, in order to make the baybayin a bit more secular, more forms of the vowel killers were made, which in my opinion look better than the original kudlit, because they look more organic with the forms.
Tumblr media
As you can see in the pic of the letter G above, the first on the left is the original kudlit, which is shaped like a cross. The next one has an X, or sinawali (it’s literally based on the patterns of hard, woven rattan walls called sawali which look like X’s), the next one is called a kawil (sorry dunno where that came from) and the right-most one has a pamudpod (which may have come from the word “pudpod/pudpud” literally meaning grinding or repeatedly striking something on a hard surface or on a whetting stone till it disappears or becomes flat/dull, so pamudpod is the surface that makes the item pudpod like a used pencil or eraser. Do I even make sense anymore? Oh well, YOLO).
Stringing them All Together
My personal preference is using a kawil on horizontal writing (left to right) and using a pamudpod when writing vertically. I think the overall impact is better. But then again, it’s just my personal idea. Using any of the vowel killers are, like the filled or hollow dots on I and O are personal preferences, as long as there is consistency in usage.
Tumblr media
If you can read the above and understand where the reference came from, you probably also call baybayin as alibata, and we should totally get some tea together. XDD It pretty much means “What is there, yonder?” smth idk but yeah, it sounds like that. Old and formal Filipino/Tagalog.
Tumblr media
Langit -  sky or heaven, Lupa - ground or earth, Araw - sun, and Buwan (or Bulan in Ilokano) - moon
Tumblr media
Soliman - A variant of the name Sulaiman/Solomon
Amihan - the northeast monsoon, the nice wind that brings in cool, dry air around November-March. Or if you watched the old and new Encantadia, she’s the protag. XD
The third sampler is a phrase (I ran out of space it was supposed to be a sentence), and vertical double bars are used to end the sentence. I just made them into diagonal slashes to make them look cool. Also I ran out of space. x__x It’s transliterated as a wailing mom looking for her child: Ai anaku (bunga) - Ah, my child (fruit). No space for fruit so it ain’t there.
Author’s extra rant note: Of course, some early Filipinos didn’t wanna use the kudlit due to being comfy with whatever they had at that time, but eventually they gave in. Fast forward to a century later and the baybayin was pretty much dead, as it was for the next 4 centuries or so. Romaji became the norm (except for some of the native tribes that have their own awesome writing systems), but then again some Filipinos didn’t forget it entire time, as many of the revolutionaries’ battle flags had the syllable KA, which is the first syllable of Katipunan, their group which can also be transliterated as “the entire group of the people who meet and come together”. I can’t say more because this is a long-ass post and it’s not about Philippine history. But we can talk about that if you want. Just hit me up with an ask. Warning though: I might just say “thanks for asking but please ask something else” lol j/k XDD
Writing Baybayin using a Straight-cut Calligraphy Pen/ Dip pens with Straight/Oblique Nibs
For this portion of the post, aside from posting pictures of the baybayin in black and white ink I would be pointing out that the techniques I used here are based on Western traditional calligraphy techniques used by scribes of the past, so some of the stroke patterns would be a lot different from the handwritten strokes above. But then again, if you clicked the link to get here straight away instead of reading the previous portions, well you won’t be having that much problems then. Also I will assume you already learned how to write baybayin so I’ll leave you at that. For the black baybayin, I used a calligraphy fountain pen with a 2mm straight-cut nib from the Visual Deck Set – Calligraphy box, not sure where you can buy it online but I bought mine at the National Bookstore because nobody wants to buy it. (Should’ve also bought the other calligraphy set while they’re on sale. LOL Just saying XDD). The surface is just the back of old calendars because I was just testing the strokes. For the white baybayin, I used a Speedball™  C-2 oblique-cut nib and for the ink, it’s glittery silver poster paint from Reeves™ (diluted with dH2O), and the surface is some random paper with nice surface and sizing which my father got from the office. (Apparently you can’t print anything on it so it aged well there until my father disturbed the papers’ sleep and brought them home. Now I ran out of both the calendar and the weird red paper so business is halted for a bit. XDD) Again, these are all based on how I write stuff so it’s pretty much a personal opinion, it’s not absolute but it certainly works for me so here you go.

I didn’t make any full sentences or words because I ran out of nice papers, so maybe I’ll post some next time. Sorry. ._.
Author’s final note on writing using baybayin: I’m still on the fence in using the loan letters C, F, J, Ñ, Q, V, X, and Z because in my opinion apart from having redundancies with some other letters, they were just invented to spell out proper nouns that are foreign in origin. I wouldn’t even spell my full name using baybayin, except my nickname and would just rather use the Romaji/Latin Alphabet for ease. As for using baybayin to write foreign words, well, that can be as tricky as using kana to write foreign words. Both methods boil down to localizing a foreign word into how it would be pronounced based on the original language that the writing system belongs to. For instance, the Japanese waifu (as in “My waifu”) is the Japanized form of the English word “wife”, but because their spelling system is a bit different they had to estimate which kana would be suited to approximate how the word would be pronounced and in turn, be spelled. It is also the same case for some Filipino loan words that got Filipinized (and bastardized because long words are hard lol not kidding tho) such as the word istambay which originally came from “standby” and is now shortened to “tambay” which means “just loitering and doing nothing” or in how the young ones use it now: to hang out with friends (and probably just loiter and do nothing lol don’t kill me ok?). Thus, the usage of baybayin (or kana, or hangul, or Arabic because I think their writing is very lovely or whatever writing system you like that works as syllables more than letters) in writing words from another language would take extra steps such as following the rules of the written language or localizing the word first before writing them in whatever letters or syllables that you want. It’s like using what you have then making do with it/winging it out.
The End!!!! No just kidding. But it’s the last part.
To be honest there are a lot of stuff in the internet about baybayin so I’m not that entirely sure if what I have here is pretty much redundant or not. There are a lot of sites so just use your Googling skills to find what you need, although it may be a bit difficult for readers/users who simply try writing and not understanding the entire language so just use with caution. It’s hard to end up with THAT tough guy who has a kanji tattoo that actually spells “poop” instead of whatever it was supposed to be. I actually saw a guy sporting a tattoo that reads FUUBEN in Japanese, which translates to inconvenience. I lol deep inside but the guy seems happy with that so I just let him be.
Well, I hope this long-ass post helped you a lot, or at the very least the stuff made sense to you and it was worth your time reading. Please leave an ask if you have other questions, I’ll try to answer them if and when I can. Have a great day and may the force be with you. =D

"I told you so"
Warning: Long ass post because I’m writing for the whole year already. I missed you, Tumblr.
I remember myself from a year ago. This time last year, I was probably lying on my bed, crying. Thinking how much I’ll miss everything I’d leave behind. Because kidding aside, Silliman? What on earth could I have possibly done to deserve to even go to Silliman? But of course, being the immature ass that I am, I saw it as a way of escaping things. Escaping Puerto. Escaping my relatives. Escaping my family. Escaping him. I saw the opportunity more as a way to escape rather than seeing it as a possibility to make myself better. Better for my family, better for my mother, better for myself. #Selfish. Ha. The thought of getting to live by myself (without the people I grew up around with) never made me afraid. Of course, I’ll have my time to myself. Get a chance to establish a brand new social status. Maybe I’ll even try to be a new me. That was how I saw the year ahead.
The first few weeks was hard. I had a lot of setbacks. I was a complete alien. I didn’t understand anything people in Dumaguete were saying. Which is funny because it felt like I had a translator and a tour guide rather than a big sister.
First sem began and I had 2 things on my mind.
1.) Be competitive as fuck. I saw the very first batch of my classmates as competition. People I had to compete with during first semester. But time went by, I started hating myself for even thinking that in the first place. I didn't just find friends. I found family. Which was even harder considering the fact that by second sem, we'll be separated from each other.
2.) Move on. Funny kaayo. I spent the first semester looking for a someone or just a something that would make me forget. And yes, charot. I would go around and randomly joke about crushing on random guys in my big lecture, someone from another strand, someone I saw at the gym, or maybe even someone I came across with at the corridor. Desperate moves just to forget, I know. I do regret. Even so, none of them worked.
I've always been told that "Yung unang uwi lang yung masaya. Yung mga susunod mong uwi, parang normal nalang." Proven and tested. It was fun planning the surprise. For 5 months, I told all of my friends in Puerto that I'll be home by December. Not October. *laughs* I can still remember the looks on their faces. The way they cried, the way they skipped their classes, the way they raced from their own schools, even trekking on mud and the rain just to visit, how the whole school was abuzz. #HeroesWelcome mo lang. Char. It was home. It was nice to spend a week catching up with the people you basically grew around with. But like always, all good things must come to and end. I'm going to have to go back. And it felt weird because, I wanted to go back. I was missing Dumaguete. So much. *laughs*.
I didn't get back in time for the enrollment so I had Egg, a very close friend, enroll for me. You can just imagine the look on my face when he said that we were enrolled in section A. Seriously, man. Kinsa mang ganahan mapafirst section?? Especially when I found out who my classmates were gonna be. (No, I don't hate them I was just scared that they were gonna be people that's hard to make friends with). Bad. Nangjudge ko. Hahaha. I spent the first 2 months of 2nd sem ranting about how much I missed my first semester classmates. That was until new year's, and then everything changed. I don't know how it happened but it just did. I loved my classmates. I even ended up dedicating my final Oral Comm speech for them. I just felt like doing so. Hahaha. Second sem went by so fast and even now I'm wondering how'd I get so attached to these people.
Oh and another thing. Yung pinapagdasal ko simula nung first sem? Nangyari.
And Satan said, "Let there be feelings"
 Yay, nagkacrush ako.
 Only ngayon, things are complicated.
Super. Complicated.
(Yes mas complicated pa nung Junior High)
And the thing is I don't know how or why. (??)
Literally, person is really attractive and really really really smart but it just happened. (Feel ko talaga may gayuma siya eh :( Haha joke) I never disobeyed rules before, but heck I didn't care about dorm rules anymore. I never thought that I'd take my Chemistry finals without even studying. (This is a joke, I studied for a little bit, hehe). Fuck, I even embarrassed myself infront of this person so many times that I lost count already. Kabalo mo guys, I actually confessed (PERSONALLY) dayon mga 1 minute pa bago ko narealize nagawa ko? If that doesn't make you tanga, then I don't know what will. But somehow, this person makes it all okay. :(
Just one word, then everything's fine. I'd talk to myself every night how stupid I was. Ngano? Magselos ko na wala kong karapatan. HAHAHAHA. (Like that's new) Ma-feel ko na magdemand ako sa time niya. (Again, wala akong karapatan), Mabuang ko sa thought na ayaw na niya sakin. LAMNIYOYUN? HAHAHAHA. Ang idiotic, I know kasi, di niya naman hiningi to da? Hahaha. Di niya naman hiniling saken na magkagusto ako sakanya so dapat lang wala siyang pake. Pero HUUUU. Believe me, naka-ilang headbang na ko sa dingding. Wala giyapon kos matinong utak. Hay. Piste. Which is why summer goal: tanggalin ang pagka-crush. Friends ra. Friends. Hihihi. You guys are better that way. Mehehe. I even came up with this weird way to get over this crush thingy. Which is maghilamos. HAHAHA. Operation: Flawless as fuck. Everytime na maghilamos ko, dapat ma-lessen na ang pagka-crush. Hehe.
But then that smile. That damned smile.
WA NA JUD. PILDI NA. BACK TO ZERO. >:(
Huhu. Yan Danna, hiniling hiling mo na magkacrush ka sa iba, der u habb it. Suffer thy consequences.
U asked for it.  All these reasons made leaving Dumaguete hard. Again.
Now here I am, halfway across the world, lying down on my bed at 2:56 AM, suffering from the heat this blasted heater emits, making me sweat like the pig that I am. Just wishing I was home again.

yaaaaalllllll 2018 was rough. a lot has happend. and im difinitely not the same person anymore. whats worse is that im kinda disappointed of what i turned out to be. :/ things are just sad. i havent been able to pick myself up until now. idk if im just in the right place or in the right time or with the right people but all u i know is that things could be in a much better place. i just hope that 2019 would put things in a better place. i cried a ton shit of tears this year. cut a few scars.left a lot of people. so much new things. it was my wildest year so far. Living independently alone, surviving college and the city life--- it was very different from what Im used to. but hey i survived and im proud of myself for that.2018 u were painful---so painful.  U made me try so hard and fail so hard at every aspect. I tried to maintain ties with friends even though it wasnt rly my thing. It was so hard for me to maintain connection agh but at least i still tried. Acads wise, I tried so hard to study for that one major prelim exam and i failed--- for the very first time, i failed a major exam. I tried to love--- yup--- thats totally not me--- i tried to date people. but lol things rly just dont work out sometimes. it be lyk that sometimes. ako pa yung dinitch HAHAHAHAH lol
the first half of the year was so fulfilling a lot of fun times. Never have i ever felt lyk i knew myself so much. everything i did was everything i wanted to do. For the first time i felt lyk i was turning out to be who i wanted to be but surprise everything turned around at the second half of the year.
it  made me feel lost it made me feel alone. its 2019 and that feeling hasnt changed. still a ton shit of anxiety. god Every holiday season i try my best to get in the holiday spirit but hah this year no matter how hard i try i wasnt just feeling it.  everything feels so static i dont wanna be like this anymore. The second half of 2018 made me feel like im the wrong place am i in the wrong place i dont know.

DUOLINGO Japanese Lesson 2: Writing Systems
A: I:い U:う E:え O:お

SAMSON & DEBBIE’S STORY CONTINUES
May 15th, 2014
Broda Samson says, "he has grown anoda wing". We talked late into d night afta we finished eating yamflour & ila asepo, "mai" lord do sleep early, probably bc of his daily midnight watch, but I did not allow him 2 sleep early 2da as we keep discusing various issues, from my akademiks 2 family life 2 d ongoing issue within d island, d increase tide of kidnappings & he said "the inception of politiks & d desire 2 get 2 echelon post @ all cost by d politicians are not un-associated with dis worrisome development, bc many of dem are using human blood as sacrifices, dey r using human blood 2 appeal 2 their gods 2 assist dem get 2 d topmost position, I think d politikal offices she be made less attractive", he enthused. Relationship is all about sacrifices if it is 2 be enjoyed by both parties. One ought not 2 be sacrificing with d oda person thinking it is my right, he or she also ought 2 balance up, by offering some needful sacrifices to make d journey a blessed one, enjoyable one. None of the partners should think and or lay the sacrifices needful for the growth of the relationship on his or her partner, because relationship involves two people and it shd be treated as such, "ohun aba jijọ wo, gigun lo ngun" so the elder says... IrreSpective of d person's age in d journey, bc some people are new, while some are old. Some are old bc of separation from many causes and or death...So, despite such age, both person needs 2 sacrifice if actually dey love being 2geda, if truly dey wanted 2 grow in love 2geda. Sister Debbie did not have any ugly past in dis journey of love, bc "mai" lord as she used 2 call her love is d only person she has ever given her nod of love to. And co-incidentally, broda Samson also did not have untoward experiences with other lass, except that many if not all d ladies he abinitio talked to never accepted his hand of fellowship in love.. Sister Debbie & Broda Samson are deeply in love, and every1 could attest 2 dat, they r enjoying themselves They are enjoying themselves in this love relationship... We talked & talked until I started dozing and I slept off with my head resting on his lap...He woke me up 2 go & sleep in d bedroom. The ffg day, afta our morning prayer, he left 4 shop early 2 go & tidy up some things bc it was d sales personnels who closed the shop yda..I am not expected in d office for I am on a leave...when I eventually got up, I did d tidying up dat was suspended d previous day...bc of his diary dat I read which later turn out 2 be a memorable outing 4 us...Afta dis, I left 4 d market 2 buy foodstuffs & soup ingredients...afta which I returned home 2 prepare d soup & dinner along 4 him in d office. "Ẹ ku ise o", Debbie said, as she walks to his side and embraced him. ""Uhm! Tabi iwọ ti a o ba ki ku isẹ." I thought u will not be able 2 come here again" "mai" lord said. "Kilode? Tabi e o fẹ ki n wa ni? Even if u do not want me 2 come, I have told u dat I have signed a life-long contract with u, u will neva be alone again, wherever u r, just look behind u, u will see me dia, I shall always be your undetachable tail... Broda Samson interjecting, as he dropped his pen, resting his back in d chair, placed his hands on d chairs arms, said, "Hun-hun?" Debbie continues, "...beni o, nitori tẹru-tẹru labuke nrin, tẹru tẹru labuke nwọlu, emi atiyin ni nibikibi, nitoripe bi igbin ba fa ikarahun a tẹ le ni", whereeva u be, I will always be dia by God's grace until death separates us" she concluded, as she drops d food warmers on a corner, pulled out a seat opposite "mai" lord to sit down, "oru ma mu mi kẹ". "It is bc u r just coming in, by d time u acclamatize to d office's weather, d perspiration would have gone", broda Samson enthused, and then I, Debbie, looked at the "The Light" Newspaper headlines on his desk, he buys Newspaper regularly I have been telling him to stop wasting his money on Newspapers because many of their reportage are false but he said 4m false one will extract true and dat he gets some facts from those newspapers...according to an elderly man, newspaper these days is more or less like a textbook or story book or whatever, it is usually loaded, full of myriads of infomation...so, I have to stop complaining...I took "The Light" Newspaper and was going thru it until I got to the section of the viewpoints, and there I saw a write up " BRUSHING ASIDE THE LIMITERS" by mr IRONIPEPE NPA. So, I asked "mai" lord, "have u read dis article?" He paused to answer, "which of the articles my love?", "Brushing aside the Limiters", Debbie said. "Oh yeah", "mai" lord replied, "it is interesting, d man who wrote d article and I got admitted into the University @ d same time, studying the same course, but in his 200Level he joined d institutuons mainstream politics and he was expelled in 300Level..." "Was dat so?" my love inquired. "Yes...afta his expulsion with about 7 others, they took the institution to court for unconstitutional expulsion, but while d instituted court case linger on, he obtained another University entrance form & got admitted into anoda university...By the time d legal tussle will be over, he was already in his final year & wouldnt need the verdict of d court again...Afta graduation, he became a freelance writer for the newspaper, and as the saying, "isẹ rẹ yio fi ọ han", when the management of the newspaper saw his make up he become employed as a member of staff of the newspaper". "Eh-hen. Someone who doesnt know dis may think he has not experienced much", Debbie said. "That is it, one must not judge people on surface level, "ikoko ti yo jata idi re yo gbona loro ile aiye", many of us have our pasts, it is only when we become blessed dat people see us and start complaining..." "That is it "mai" love", Debbie said. "When I was reading his article, I said 2 mysef, he has grown another wing...The institution abinitio pulled off his feathers, but he regathered d pieces of his life 2geda charting anoda course & path for .for himsef, and here he is today", broda Samson said. "There are so many ways to making it, when a route is blocked by enemies, one shd be sensitive enof to take anoda route & with dedication, doggedness, soon one will become exceptionally noticed in dat new way, but limiting one's self 2 a place, a closed channel is nay d best", Debbie said. "Not even in dis technologikal age, one should not be myopic, whateva evil anyone does, God usually overturn them, God usually change dem 2 one's good...but d problem with many a one is d ability to accept what happened early and take a new path..."Ẹ jọwọ ounjẹ ti ẹ gbewa da? Ebi ti de?" broda Samson said. Debbie standing up, said, "Ebi o kabọ o, o ku irin, mo ti n sed message si ẹ latarọ". "Bẹni ti ẹ ri, mo mọ awon ota mi tipẹ", "mai" lord said. "Awa ore yin na lẹ o ma pe lọta yin, awa ti a fe nyin fun ire, awa ti a fe itesiwaju ati ilosiwaju nyin, awa ti a nje ki oju nyin dan bi i omo jojolo" as she talks she is putting the food warmers on the table, ""mai" lord, do u know dat things are costly in d market 2da, me who does not like too much "pricing", had to join the train of the "pricers" today b4 I could buy those things I bought", she concluded. "Only God will save us, anytime the market women hear that salaries have been increased they also inflate the prices of their goods as it we are all salary earners", broda Samson said. "They said by doing that, they will also get their largesse 4m the govt, howeva, indirectly", Debbie said. "I will also have to increase d prices of my goods too, to get out of d largesse", "mai" lord said. "I will send messages to market control dept's office of d Island 2 come & enforce compliance in dis shop" Debbie said. "Sebi o niwo lore mi lekan ni? Aye ma le o", broda Samson said. "Ore awon mekunnu nimi lori oro yi o", Debbie said. "Aje wipe a o ma gba awẹ niyen o", broda samson said. "I reject dat in Jesus name. He has promised 2 supply all our needs according to His riche His riches in glory", Debbie said. "E sa wa jeun o", broda Samson said. "Mo ti jeun temi nile o", Debbie said, "do u think I can wait till this time?" "I wont eat again "niyen", maybe poison wa nibẹ", broda Samson said. "Ebi o ti payin niyen o, bi ebi ba pa yin, e o mo wipe ko si bi mo se fẹ se ounje yen ti mi o ni fi "love concortion" sinu ẹ"...as she starts eating with her love... TRANSLATION

anoda (= another)
"ohun aba jijọ wo, gigun lo ngun"(Yoruba proverb meaning when we looked at something together we would correct the errors and it would be straightened)   ffg (means following) "Ẹ ku ise o", (means Weldone oh) ""Uhm! Tabi iwọ ti a o ba ki ku isẹ." (Uhmn! It is you that I should greet, that you are weldone)
"Kilode? Tabi e o fẹ ki n wa ni? (Why? Or don’t you want me to come here in the first instance?)
"...beni o, nitori tẹru-tẹru labuke nrin, tẹru tẹru labuke nwọlu, emi atiyin ni nibikibi, nitoripe bi igbin ba fa ikarahun a tẹ le ni", (means Yes oh, because the person with a hunch back enters the town with loads on his/her body (it’s a Yoruba proverb, clarifying the proverb she says) everywhere you go, it is you and me, (adding another Yoruba Proverb) because when snails crawl the shells will not be left behind)
"oru ma mu mi kẹ". (meaning, I am feeling heat (probably perspiring) "isẹ rẹ yio fi ọ han",(means your work will reveal you)
"ikoko ti yo jata idi re yo gbona loro ile aiye", (means life is like the pot that will cook a soup which will first be heated up by fire (it’s a Yoruba Proverb)
"Ẹ jọwọ ounjẹ ti ẹ gbewa da? Ebi ti de?" (Please where is the food you have prepared and brought for me? I am now hungry?”)
"Ebi o kabọ o, o ku irin, mo ti n send message si ẹ latarọ". (means Hunger, welcome oh, how was your journey? For quite a while now, I have been sending messages to you) "Bẹni ti ẹ ri, mo mọ awon ota mi tipẹ", "mai" lord said. (means I know you, I have long know those who are my enemies) "Awa ore yin na lẹ o ma pe lọta yin, awa ti a fe nyin fun ire, awa ti a fe itesiwaju ati ilosiwaju nyin, awa ti a nje ki oju nyin dan bi i omo jojolo" (means Those of us who are your friends are those you will be calling your enemies, those of us who want you to succeed, those of us who want your progress and growth, those of us who ensure that your face look babyish everyday are those you will be calling your enemies)
"pricing", (means negotiating that prices of goods be reduced, it is the common thing in the local market in Nigeria and perhaps some African countries)
"Sebi o niwo lore mi lekan ni? Aye ma le o", (means but are you not the one who called yourself my friend just a while ago? The world is wicked!”)
"Ore awon mekunnu nimi lori oro yi o", (means on this case, I should be seen as friends to the indigent/poor ones in this matter). "Aje wipe a o ma gba awẹ niyen o", (meaning it means I shall be fasting oh). "E sa wa jeun o", (means come and join me on the table/come and eat with me) "Mo ti jeun temi nile o", (meaning, I have taken my food at home before coming here)   "I wont eat again "niyen", (meaning, that means I will not eat what you have prepared again)  maybe poison wa nibẹ" (meaning who knows may be you have put poison there), broda Samson said. "Ebi o ti payin niyen o, bi ebi ba pa yin, e o mo wipe ko si bi mo se fẹ se ounje yen ti mi o ni fi "love concortion" sinu ẹ" (meaning, that means you are pretending to be hungry, but you are actually  not, because assuming  you are you will know that there is no how I would prepare your food that I will not add love concortion there (love concortion is the African charms added to soup to make the opposite person love his/her partner the more, usually used for someone that one wants to win his/her love but may be the person is proving difficult or may be he or she is already engaged and would not look at the person eyeing her or him, when that concortion is added the person starts loving the person greatly)...as she starts eating with her love...

At some point of the night you told me that someday, we’ll buy a house. Tangina I want that. Kung pwede nga lang now na e hahaha. The idea’s too far ahead and feels to stretched and permanent and I don’t wanna jinx anything or get ahead of myself or whatever pero yeah, I’d want that. It’d be nice. Then you made me stand up and then you sang Grow Old With You. Ang cute non????? Hay, I love you.
August 2 2017; 10:25 pm
Thank you for always being so understanding.I was medj nervous nung pinagsasabihan kayo ni mommy. Kat effect. Baka in the wrong way niyo ma-interpret or whatever. Hahaha. Anyway, main point, thank you for being understanding. With me and everything I come along with. Especially extra unnecessary shit. Thank you. Not a lot of people are able to do what you’re doing. Especially with me. I’m used to people leaving after awhile kaya medyo nag aadjust pa ako ng onti na andiyan ka parin hahaha. And I’m glad that this adjustment is because
August 3-6 2017
Sa sobrang daming nangyayari for the past few days, di ko na keep up mag write dito, sorry hahaha. Right now it’s the sixth day of August, 1:31 am. You’re singing John’s song right now and I’m typing this. Last night we had dinner with my mom. Thank you for opening  up to her. I know naman na it’s not easy for you to do that. I appreciate it a lot. Mom appreciates it din. Idk if you noticed pero while we waiting for our seat, nakatitig lang ako sayo almost the entire time e. Somehow I fell in love with you  even more. Which is weird kasi I din’t think there’s another more pero I feel like I’ll always keep falling for you naman e. I’m so happy na my mom knows you na. It’s nice to know na she’s come to like you na talaga. Nakakatuwa lang din talaga. Anyway mom talk aside, I just wanna repeat na I’m proud of you. And that...tangina cclear ko na ‘to sayo kasi baka ikaw nag aassume ka din gaya ng iba. Di ako bitter over Kazz or towards her?????? Ang daming nag tanong sakin if okay lang ba ako while you were singing your last song. Pati si Duane puta hahaha. Si Kat lang yata may alam na wala naman ako na ffeel. First of all there’s no reason for me to be bitter. Not the with the whole “past is past” thing. Wala. No reason naman talaga e. Second, hindi lang talaga ako bitter. HAHAHAHA. Forreal tho, I’m not. I’m only, for a lack of better term, bothered-ish (kasi I’m not bothered, bothered. I’m just...ewan basta yan hahaha) when she keeps looking at me. There was one time pa na parang ang sama ng tingin niya na ewan. Tas nung GA. Tas tingin din ng tingin nung nasa Gather. Pero bahala siya kasiiiiii I have no anything with her naman sooo, life goes on. I can not tell you this naman kasi wala lang talaga sakin pero I want you to know nalang din. Anywaaaaay, yun. I’m proud of you. For all the things you’ve done, continue to do, and (will) choose to do, I’m proud of you. Kasi I know at some point, your decisions take more than just one thought. That at some point the decisions you make or the things you do, use up a lot more of courage than usual. So I’m proud. I’m proud and I’m happy. You’re able to do things that make you happy and I’ll be here to support you. Kung tutuusin di ko naman talaga kailangan bigay sayo yung guitar e. Di ko naman kailangan mag effort ng ganon. But I did because one, I know na it’s something that will make you happy. Two, it’s something you’ve been wanting for yourself for as long as I can remember. Three, it’s something I know you deserve e. Not just because you want it, or because you’re my boyfriend, but because you deserve to have something in order to be able to do something even better/even more. Did that make sense ba... HAHAHA.
PS: Ang cute mo noh, sobrang inaalagaan mo yung guitar. It’s nice to see you being so careful with it and all. Sige lang, pagpatuloy mo lang yan, tama yan. HAHAHA.
11:11 pm
For some reason, I find you super cute right now kasi nananahimimk ka tapos I can hear your breathing na and your camera’s off nanaman and I feel like you’re asleep na talaga at some point but for some reason, ayaw mo ibaba yung call. I suggested you sleep na pero you just shook your head. Now it’s 11:15 and I ended the call na. You said goodnight na din naman na. So goodnight, Kirby. I love you!!!
August 7 2017; 9:15 pm
Time spent with you has always been a good time, has always been time well spent and surely, will always be. But the spontaneous moments with our in the moment decisions are always a little bit more good than usual. Probably because those are the moments where I know we can legit spend a whole day together or stay indoors and not doing anything/much and still have a good time. Or maybe that’s just me... kidding! HAHAHA. But anyway, thank you for today. I don’t always tell you shit but I’ll never not tell you shit. I’ll always remind you how thankful I am for you, for the shit you do for me - willingly and when I ask for a favor/something, for always being there for me and for keeping up with me even when you don’t have to or can choose not to, for being how you are with me despite a lot of things and through everything. I’ll always tell you that I love you just because I can, and because I do. I love you! Always.
August 8 2017; 12:25 am
I feel like you’re asleep na HAHAHA. Wala lang I’m typing here just to say na I love you so much. I love you and I just want you to know. There’s not much to say right now. Which is funny because some days I can go on and on about whatever and some days there’s just not as much to say. But one thing I know, as fucking cheesy as it is, is that I can always tell you na I’m thankful for you and I love you.
August 9 2017; 7:13 pm
I pissed you off nanaman. I love you. I hope you’ll be able to keep up with me for as long as you can. There will be days where I’ll probably piss the hell out of you and I hope by then and after, you’ll still be by my side. I’m sorry. I know that half the time, I’m a huge pain in the ass. Sana even if I annoy you like crazy, you won’t get tired of me. Kahit na bwisit na bwisit ka na, sana nandiyan ka lang. Love naman kita e. Makulit lang talaga ‘ko and magulo HAHAHA. I love you!!! Sobra. I hope you’ll stick around and not get tired of me.
8:56 pm
YAAAAY BATI NA TAYO TANGINAAAA HAHAHAHAHA. Hay, okay na ‘ko hahaha. I love you!!!!! Try ko na talaga maging less annoying hehe, sorry.
August 10-13
O m g.  Mahirap mag keep up with these notes during prelims, I’m sorry hahaha. In a span of 3 days, a lot has happened. Last night was a great night for you and I’m happy. I’ve been telling you more than once and in more ways than one that I am proud of you. I’m proud of you and I’ll always support you. Through anything and everything, about anything and everything. I’ll tell you what I’ve been telling people a few times now, I don’t just support you as your girlfriend but as someone who sees and knows that you’re capable of so much things and that you’ll be able to do them.
August 14 2017; 10:15 pm
Sobrang clingy koooo huhu I’m so sorry. Promise, minsan lang ‘to. HAHAHA. Tangina dito ka nalang sa bahay HAHAHA haaay. I’m talking to Richard and he keeps commenting about how you’re “the one” and all that kasi nga super iba ako sayo. Which is, for the nth time, true. It’s so hassle talaga kapag inaatake ako ng pagiging extra clingy ko tapos may iba pang tao. Lalo ko na-ffeel na bitin na ewan huhuhu babe nakakabaliw. :(( HAHAHAHAH. Para akong tanga noh tangina hahaha. Pero seryoso, hassle, nakakabaliw. I’m sorry!!! Feel ko naiinis ka sakin or something sorry na huhu. Sayo lang ako naging ganito ang sayo lang ako magiging ganito.
August 15 2017; 11:20 pm
So tumawag ka na. Ang kulit niyo ni Jul, ang cute para kayong mga bata na ewan HAHAHA. Today was a good day but tangina I miss you na hindi na ewan, ewan ko na nababaliw na ako huhuhu HAHAHAHHAHA pota. But eyyy 4 months na tayooo. To more things ahead of us, both good and bad, as long as we have each other, yes? Yes. I love you! And sorry kasi clingy ko nanaman huhu hahaha. Kanina before leaving the dorm, I was telling Kat na “Kat puta maghihiwalay nanaman kami ni Kirby, di ko nanaman siya kasama” ang tindi ng sepanx ko, puta HAHAHAHA. Minsan it feels weird to part ways with you, tbh. Not in an oa way naman. We still have our own shit, siyempre. Kaso wala, sometimes I’d rather do nothing and just chill with you. Plus everything’s much better when you’re around. Happy pill, chill pill kita e. Kaya sorry in advance if ever my clingy-ness gets to you in a bad way and mainis ka ng super. Sorry!!!!! Clingy ka din naman, okay. HAHAHAHAHA. But yeah, yun. I’m sleepy na sooo bye byeee. See you tomorrow!
August 16 2017;  7:40 pm
Birthday mo na tomorrow omygad. On top of that, aga natin umuwi today HAHAHA.
11:17 pm
Naputol pag write ko here kasi I got distracted and ended up watching and eating, sorry HAHAHAHA. But right now.. I’m so emotional huhu I’m back reading sa convo natin and I legit started from the very top of our conversation. (thanks to the ‘search in conversation’ feature sa laptop, pa search search lang ako ng shit na naaalala ko.) Sobrang na tteary eyed ako, to be honest. In a good way tho. In a good way, siyempre. 4 months pero it feels like it’s been a while. And I’m not complaining. 4 months and counting tayo ha!!!!!! Walang stop stop, pota hahaha. Stay strong sayo, kasi masakit ako sa ulo hehe. Pero love mo naman ako and I’d like to believe that you can handle my being pain in the ass. So just keep up with me, yeah? I promise I’ll always choose to keep up with you no matter what. Always.
August 17 2017; 12:00 am

Be right back later with more shit, maybe. I love you!!
11:11 pm
Sorry kung kinabahan ka HAHAHA. Anyway, I hope I was able to salvage your day. I know how much you - I don’t wanna say hate kasi feel ko di mo naman hate soooo - don’t like your birthday so sana, Aro and I were able to make your night better than your day was. So yeah, happy birthday! It’s all in the letter and here. Sorry if you find it repetitive na hehe. But yeah, yun. I love you so much!!
