This was a bit of a wild year, so there were gaps in my simming activities, but I still got up to the usual chaos!

January

Starting off with Aria and Ryozo's wedding. It wasn't meant to happen, but every time I had plans to throw a spanner in the works, his little face stopped me. Of course Aria wore a pink, sequin jumpsuit.

When Elio met Allan. Aria, ever the social climber, invited Allan and his mum over to be neighbourly/nosey and Allan's first impression of Elio was less than enthusiastic. They later bonded over being scouts weirdos.

February

I started a BACC challenge and absolutely loved it, then my ADHD brain kicked in and I got very confused and it became too stressful to follow the rules 🤣 I may revisit it at some point.

As a direct result of my BACC confusion, I started playing my very old, and very loved Enekjaer rotational save in TS3. There's something lovely about time just standing still, even as the years hurtle past.

March

The Crumplebottoms celebrate Gaia's birthday. I love this save. There's no set story, only chaos.

The penny drops for Elio, who was oblivious in his scouting weirdness. I love his vacant little face.

April

The wig snatching motherplant makes itself known to Elio, and unknown to him, sets him on a path that will shape the rest of his life.

Not a screenshot as such, but one of the CC sets I'm most proud of. I was so honoured that my bestie @obigem trusted me to work with her on this collection and very happy with how it turned out.

May

I had jaw surgery and the drugs were good. I don't remember doing this, but I guess this is when I downloaded Re-Light.

My bebe Caleb in the TS3verse. He was one of the first sims I created (if not the first) when I got the TS4 CAS demo, so it felt right that he got to be in other versions of the game.

June

Elio fucked around and found out. Sure it all worked out in the end, but I did enjoy the mess.

Trashleen coming in hot with the good advice. "Let them chat shit behind your back. Rent is expensive." She's correct. Live rent-free in the heads of your enemies.

July

I spent way too much time building Evil Pappy's Glue factory for a few photos of Alan's post-school fate and subsequent rescue. It made sense in my head for an evil cowboy to have a glue factory.

August

Trashleen and Mitzipuff lead the pack when it comes to style, but they just had to jump on the 'demure and mindful' trend for this shot.

The Motherplant battle always gives amazing shots. Elio and his friends beat the Motherplant and managed to rescue Miguel.

September

I update my models subtly every so often, but this time, quite a few of them visited the CAS surgeon for some minor adjustments.

I love the entire Poppy Collection I made with @surely-sims, but this dress is my standout and I'm so pleased with what I was able to achieve with it! Izumi serves as an 80s goddess.

October

October brought us Life and Death, and of course the big face mountain deserved a Cabbagepatch photoshop edit!

And then we have three! Elio, Allan and Miguel sorted their drama and decided to try being a throuple...it just so happened that the game allowed it now.

November

I was inspired by Ravenwood, and decided to do a little elven edit. No storyline, only elves and fireflies.

November marked the return of the Smyths, and a huge change in Cabbagepatch's relationship with her arch enemy Figgyduff. The sisters joined forces to conquer the Clucking Cosa Nostra once and for all.

December

Cabbagepatch formally invites you to attend a beautiful Easter concert with some definitely Easter themed CC that will be released most generously and totally on time for the Easter season in which they are meant to be used.

@joliebean and I were on our Christmas bullshit again with our latest Christmas collab! Esther got added back into the model rotation for this Marilyn moment.

Time for a new BACC challenge! It's been years' since I attempted it but after talking with @purzelsims this weekend I felt like giving it another try. Her save is beyond inspiring and I want that sense of community in my game 💖

Moonwood Mill is my favourite world so I couldn't pass up the chance to start a BACC using @m0ckest's gorgeous Grimtooth Cabins. Technically breaking the rules already to start with residential rental but with only 5 lots to play with it made sense, sooo let's ignore that.

Our landlord and resident werewolf. Wolfgang will be working on handiness and logic for the group, unlocking electricity and contraception. He makes sure everything is running smoothly in the cabins, and always brings fruitcake.

Alex is our fitness fanatic, working on unlocking the athletic career and the gym. That will help towards unlocking the rec centre so the group can enjoy more @m0ckest loveliness at the Moonwood Co-op. Alex is a mermaid and enjoys spending the Summer afternoons down at the lake.

Arielle Ivy by @cowplant-snacks 🎨

Arielle is our artist, and the first Sim I have chosen to play in year 1. She's generous but very high maintenance which often causes conflicting moodlets. She does not love living off the grid. Arielle is focusing on unlocking the arts centre, which is the other half of the rec centre unlock. She will be levelling painting, knitting and mixology.

Our nosy, lovebug that loves to cook. She developed a crush on Wolfgang the minute I went into Live Mode so I'm already obsessed with that. Janessa will be working on her homestyle cooking, gourmet cooking and baking skill to unlock a restaurant for the town.

Listen, I'll be honest, I'm not really in love with any of my Sims at the moment or the pairings I've got going on. So I'm bringing back an old couple I haven't played in years (and missing terribly!)

Jericho and Andy were two founders in my original BACC that, honestly, I did not expect would get together. They didn't SEEM to have anything in common... until Jericho decided he wanted a baby of his own and Andy agreed to be the baby mama/platonic co-parent. AKA they became friends with benefits, but caught feelings and eventually became an actual couple.

They ended up having three kids together by the time I stopped playing. Caeley (the FWB baby) was a young adult, they had a teenager named Fabe, and then their youngest was an oopsie baby (I think?) named Karter. She was only a toddler (pre-infants) when that save went RIP.

I think I gave like 20 facts just in the overview but here are some more.

I loved developing their friendship first and doing the whole "slow burn" thing. It was a great foundation for their romance!

They were so supportive of each other's dreams and goals.

He was an erratic sim, she was a lazy sim... It was my first time really playing with "negative" traits and it added a lot of depth to their characters.

Their eldest daughter Caeley was my all-time FAVORITE sim I've ever played. She still is to this day, and if you wanna see her in action she was adopted by @sparepartsbacc.

I don't know where their story would've gone if I'd kept up with my BACC, but I'm positive they would've been together until the end.

Thanks Payte for letting me gush about my old sims! I'd love to see which couple @cyazurai and @memoirsofasim love most right now!

Most of the simmers I actively follow right now are playing Sims 2, but I'm gonna ask them anyway! I wanna see your fave Sims 2 couples: @solarsimblr, @keoni-chan and @kayleigh-83.

When Painter finds out Sadao and Sebastian held hands, he's gonna lose his mind.

But poor Sadao, I wanna give him a hug.

Eve is really giving the vibes of the mom who judges the boyfriend of her child (the 'child' being Sebastian). She be like

Eve: how can I trust that you'll treat my boy right?

Sadao: I would die for him

Genuine question though? Are we gonna get a fic of them recovering and healing on the surface after Confluence, because I can imagine Celeste fainting at the sight of Sebastian but recovers, only to faint again at the sight of Sadao and Painter.

And would Sadao's family help him? Would his brother and sisters accept him with his new body?

I might not do like a chapter by chapter one like Confluence and Vicissitude, but make a set of one-shots/Drabbles cuz I don’t have a solid picture on what they are gonna do on the surface. I still have things to figure out with Confluence and how ima end things so we will see~

And yes absolutely Sadao’s family would help, and they would accept them. It would be hard at first, but not in the oh god you’re horrifying, but more of what happened to my baby brother sort of way. They all are very protective of Sadao so having him show up after being told by Urbanshade that he had died in an accident…yeah.

But they absolutely would do whatever they can to help.

Okay im bacc and this is a mafia AU

Puffs are sisters by bond, grew up together in a shelter of Prof. U before being adopted into different family but still keep the bond then rented the same house after high school. Ruffs are bio triplets of a mob family.

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are nicknames they were given at the shelter. The trio still call each other by that name and ppl that are close to them call them that too.

Bloss was named Rosalia bc she was adopted by a Spanish family. Bubbs was named Charlotte. BC was named Auguri (her adopted family was Italian). Thats how Bloss learned Spanish and BC learned Italian. Bloss then also learned French, and BC learned German. Bubbs speaks all of the languages above, being the language genius she is.

They usually teach each others thing. Blossom taught others how to defense one's self with words. Bubbles taught others how to fix some stuffs. BC taught others how to use a riffle and a gun (she was adopted by hunters so she knows how).

Blossom is a law student. She used to be the all that American citizen type but she grew out of it. She still keeps her interest in law so she choose this department. Shes smart but shes not good at emotions and room reading.

Blossom meets Brick everyday in her class. The guy teases her (read: pisses her off) on a daily basis and they usually compete in lectures. Brick actually likes to do that because "she looks like a boiled octopus when shes mad (and thats cute)"

Bubbles is studying to be a tailor. She sometimes design her own stuff but since she dont rlly have the money to make them, she decided to work and study at the same time for it. She is cheerful (obiviously) but she quite the type to keep for herself.

Boomer is one of Bubbles's customer and comes to the shop quite often bc he felt in love with the girl at first sight so he comes to hang out (read: to flirt w Bubbs). The shop's owner is under his dads' influence (not that the employees know abt this) but they dont mind him much bc they used to be the triplets' babysitter.

BC studies cuisine. She usually brings home the food she cooked in class for meals. Girl takes no shit from other and is totes blunt. Shes lowkey headstrong too. She hits the gym and does boxing smt.

BC and Butch are friends at the gym and drinking buddies (and smt fwbs). They usually fight at the ring in the gym to relieve their own stress then hang out (read: drinking) later. BC has a key to Butch's apartment (read: hide out).

The 1st to know abt the shady shit is BC since one time she and Butch got to bar together and some gang around hate the guys face so they decided to, well, gang up the two.

BC was like "bitch I know ur shady af but damn okay wtf" but they dont have much talking time then so Butch just, "put ur boxing glove on bestie we have stress relief outta the gym now" then proceeding to punch ppl.

BC gave him an earful later when they got to Butch's hide out. Butch don't explain much but BC takes it since she knew Butch was being honest to her. Then the guy said "yknow what I actually was gonna ask u out but they saw us together so I'm pretty sure that they think that we're an item now lmao so will u date me?" BC said okay but she smacked him anw.

The 2nd to know was Blossom, a month or two after BC and Butch started dating. They were randomly paired up again so they had to work together, but turned out to just bickering as usual since 1st day working for the task. They met up at a restaurant (that Brick chose) and then some gang pulled up there and scaring ppl off.

Brick decided to lay low at first bc Blossom told up she will sneak a call to the police, but then she was caught. Brick then yelled "fuck this" and proceed on beating ppl. Blossom actually had to stop him from killing someone.

Gang lead realised Brick and yelled to him and spilled out Brick's identity as mob leads' son so Brick punched the guy again. Brick was glad that the restaurant was under his dads' influence and theres no one but him and owner of the place there but then gang lead said "were sorry that were interrupted u and ur girl, pls forgive us!" Then Brick realised, ah fuck, Blossom was still here.

Blossom was there, stunned, and suddenly Brick remembered thats shes here so he was like, "fuck okay, listen, just, don't spill this out." They agreed to never talk abt this incident again. Brick explained to her that yes his dads are mob boss (true), he thinks this life is tiring (true) and he doesnt rlly wanna do this (false). Blossom dont rlly believe that but she knows she shouldnt dig any deeper.

The last one to find out was Bubbs. Unlike her other two sisters, she was kidnapped on her way home. Blossom was staying at school studying. BC got home first, surprised that Bubbs isnt home (normally Bubbs is the 1st to reach there). Her instinct thought that the polices would hold this for too long and Bubbs would be harmed by then, so she called Butch.

Boomer overheard BC's voice on Butch's phone saying, "i need help, i think someone took my sister Bubbles" so he insisted on going w him. Butch be like, "okay, fine?" but did not question more.

BC then met Boomer for the 1st time. She was abt to discuss w them abt the situation but Boomer was like, i know where she works, i frequent that shop. BC raised an eyebrow at that. They did, successfully rescured Bubbs from a gang of human traf.fickers. Bubbs was surprised that Boomer was there, with her sister at that. BC explained everything to her, and said, "well i was hoping for a better scenario to let my bf meet you, but it is what is it i guess" and Bubbs giggled at that.

BC also warned Boomer, "if you lay a single finger on my baby sister's hair, know that i dont give a single fuck abt ur background, blondie, and unlike my other sister, i dont hesitate on dirty my own hands." Boomer rapidly nodded, and Butch whistled at that. Then Boomer realised, "wait, how do you know i like ur sis?" and BC was like, srly? and looked at him dead in the eye, "i saw the way u look at my sis. Im not blind, and the sole fact that ur came to the rescue like a fucking prince charming when ur only heard her name says all."

After the incident, Boomer started to go to the gym that BC and Butch frequent, bc he wanna ask BC how to woo Bubbs. BC usually laughed at how cute that is, and Butch was like, "oh my god my lil bro has grown up" which Boomer grossed out, "eww get ur stinky bloody shit away, bitch"

But it takes Boomer quite long to get from BC that he should find a way to encourage her dream, but do not interfere too much since Bubbs hates ppl underestimate her altho she doesnt say that out. From then Boomer invites BC to their personal gym, and BC was like, why not?

Rowan: "Oh, she's fine, she's gone with her dad to visit an aunt of hers." *sigh*

Rowan: "Like crazy! We text and facetime and stuff, but it's not the same as actually being with her, being able to touch her and kiss her and -"

He stopped himself right there. His mom may have been more chill than Hannah's, but that didn't mean Rowan was about to go into all the details of their private lives.

Imogen: "You two must be pretty serious to have stuck it out this long."

Rowan felt a little embarrassed for completely different reasons than before. He knew they were a bit of an oddity in Walden's teen dating scene: childhood friends turned sweethearts who were about to leave for college and were still going strong. Not to mention, witches of opposite alignments.

Rowan: "Yeah, we are. I...I love her, mom."

Imogen grinned.

Imogen: "Are those wedding bells I hear, maybe?"

Rowan: "Whoa whoa! Do you want Hannah's parents to murder me? College first, at the very least!"

Imogen: "I was joking, but it is nice to see the two of you happy together. You make a cute couple."

Imogen had been only half-joking; after Jacob and Roman's engagement had imploded, and given Fiona's complete lack of interest in settling down, Rowan was her best hope of seeing at least one of her kids start a family.

Inspired by the lovely Ani-Bats, here are some of my favorite sims blogs that I’ve followed this past year. This is such a short list and I plan to add on the many more simblrs that I adore.

Solar Simblr has a hilarious and eventful BACC. Currently my favorite post is the elite Polycule of Emerald Pines moving in together.

Arendholm is a set of islands that has recently been settled by Anglo-Saxon’s circa 500 AD. My favorite post was the dispute between two brothers. I love Hildulf, he’s a messy guy but at least he pulls through

Sims2Golblin runs a MCC. My favorite posts are about their witch coven. I also like how they do servants. There is one large servant lot which I may steal for Veonia.

SimmingRegency has lots of good stuff on their blog. Currently they're playing a Stardew valley esque/build up the farm challenge. Lots of subtle drama that I LOVE.

Katatty has a MCC. I can't even express enough how much I liked her side story into Jiaojing. It's inspired me to create a more extensive backstory to my Asian sims and have them travel back to their home country. (They're merchants so its perfect") I just love the whole MM aesthetic.

Lilleputtu's MCC is something I reread at least once a year. I love the aesthetic and the story. A very relaxing and fun read.

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? i spent the first manyyyy years of simming without cc ,, idk how i did it man. i used to use alpha cc for sims 4 then i ended up switching to mostly maxis match! for sims 2 i switched hair systems twice (started with new hair system, then simgaroop, now it's mostly poppet v2). i can recall switching eye defaults too. that's all i can think of

What’s your Origin ID? i think it's behindthesea00 (my mom made me the account to buy me sims 4 for christmas) BUT i share that account with my younger sister. i dont think she plays sims anymore so idk if she still gets on it, i dont either tbh i dont need origin/ea play/whatever to play my game anymore YAY

How long have you had a simblr? hmmmm i think i've had this one for 3-4 years? but it's been longer than that bc i have a sims 4 simblr that i completely abandoned as i no longer play sims 4, i havent played it since right before infants came out

How do you edit your pictures? for gameplay pics i just cropped them for the most part, occasionally adding a silly lil detail to it. i add woohoo heart to censor nudity when needed. for cc i honestly seem to just do whatever i feel like doing, lately i think i just take the pic, crop it, n add text to it

What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? i only play sims 2 so no more packs for me! other than cc packs that our lovely community makes!

BACC: Hawk / Starr / Vega Household

After losing everyone they loved, this household is a group of Sims that found each other, they have been together a long time and are like family.

Clockwise from top right - Stella married Lee Hawk. They are expecting their second child, and both want a big family. Stella is a writer, Lee is a gardener. Tyler just aged up to toddler, and Jessie arrives during this rotation.

Nadia Vega is a teen, she loves horse riding. She's super shy, dealing with a huge crush on the other teen in the household... She was a toddler when her parents died, and Stella and Phoenix were pre-teens when they adopted her as their sibling.

Brennan Hawk is the younger brother of Lee, he's a scout, a jokester, and a serial romantic.

Phoenix Starr is a sporty sim and glutton - good thing they work out so much! I'm hoping to move them out soon because we need the space for our babies, and luckily we have a romantic interest in Katy.

Brennan has been seeing Dayana from the Rivers household. They just had their first woohoo and she does not look impressed.

Nadia flirts with Lloyd, who she knows has a crush on her. She's not really into him, she's trying to make Brennan jealous. He is oblivious.

The general story of the world I am trying to rebuild is kind of inspired by Wall-e / Fallout - the world became polluted and some people went up to space to start a life on a new planet, and some went underground. And it's many generations later, the world is ready to repopulate, people are coming back to the surface. Let's not think too deeply about it.

First of all: The ending. The fanwork just will get 4 chaps cuz i can't drag stuff yet. To spoil the ending, Bill will have a panic attack upon not being able to avoid feeling queer at Josh's presence, gets a hold of his mother's whisky, drunkly and pathetically call Josh to come to his house and out of pity he will attend. They end up alone in Bill's room and end up kissing. It doesn't stop Josh from going to college, much for the opposite effect as he gets scared and confused, but plans to come back to Eltingville soon with a clearer mind.

Pete HC: 🅱️ete is transmasc, stealth-trans. His parents saw it coming from a young age and are actually supportive. They help him hide away his deadname and other stuff that would direct hate towards him. His dad loves having a male son that is interested in helping him with brute shit, although he doesn't endorse his interest in horror and nerd stuff, it is the exception.(also Jer knows his deadname as they are childhood frens.)

The Watcher was a very lazy woman.

As I was saying. She had many plans, but she knew that if she did them all, she would quickly become overwhelmed and abandon her sim children. Legacy challenge rulesets were her kryptonite; she wanted to do them all, but she couldn't spend all of her time keeping an eye on the sims under her care.

So she had an idea. She also loved Build a City Challenges, and previously she had done one where neglected founders, spares, and sims from people's libraries got a second chance at life. So why not one where brand new legacy founders could found an entire save file together? They would follow their respective legacies, while also following the rules for a BACC.

And so she sent her avatar to approach each of her chosen beginning founders to tell them what was in store for them, before spiriting them away to a brand new, empty save file.

"Why me?" asked Hibiscus Aster, the final sim the Avatar of the Watcher approached.

"Because I know you will be a perfect mayor, Hibiscus. You already are destined to be a politician according to your legacy, and so you are the perfect one to lead the others. I gave them each an explanation before sending them to their new home, but I will not be able to be in direct contact with them. You are the only one I will be able to contact from here on." said the Watcher.

Hibiscus looked hesitant, but eventually he nodded slowly. "Alright.. I'll do my best." And with that, he faded away, sent along to join the others.

"Next time, make me less glowy. You can't even see me properly in the screenshots."

Tidefall BACC - Season 1

Oliver never expected to meet the woman of his dreams on a quiet afternoon, knee-deep in farm work, dirt on his hands and sweat on his brow.

She wasn’t from the island. Their eyes met, and something in Oliver’s chest tightened. He didn’t believe in love at first sight, but in that moment, he knew this meeting would change everything.

She introduced herself with a warm smile, explaining that she was just passing through, curious about the island’s first farm. He gave her a tour of the homestead, showing off his thriving tomatoes and the young apple trees he hoped would one day bear fruit.

Time slipped away, and before he knew it, the sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in soft oranges and pinks. Standing in front of the farmhouse, the warm glow of the evening light surrounding them, Oliver realized he didn’t want her to leave.

“I should go,” Aspen said, though her voice held hesitation.

“Not yet,” Oliver found himself saying, his heart pounding. He reached for her hand, rough from work yet gentle as it closed around hers. She didn’t pull away.

I love your BACC so much I obsessively check your Tumblr to see when you've posted a new part of the story!

I started playing my own as well and was wondering how you do your rotations? Like settings and such. Also, how did you unlock Tarzan's store? Do you count it as a sim owned business even if it is just from the sales table?

Hey! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you're enjoying my content and finding inspo for your own gameplay!

I do 4-day rotations, which equals to one sim year. My lifespan is as such, if you want to know how I calculate that.

I have Neighborhood Stories completely disabled.

I have aging off and keep track of my sims' ages in my spreadsheet so I know what day to age them up on.

I have pregnancies paused for unplayed sims so if my sim gets pregnant when she's not an active sim then it won't progress until I'm playing her again.

Otherwise, I don't think I have any settings that impact my gameplay too much. Hope that helps!

As for your next question, Tarzan isn't just selling from a sales table, he has a cash register and everything. So yes I do count it as a sim-owned business. Same with Snow. She has a lot and a cash register, I just used the sales table for ~ aesthetics. But it's all legit!

The Essential Penelope

What year were they born (or how old would they be in life), and what age do they appear? What age do they feel?

Penny was born in 1909, ghouled in 1948, and Embraced in 1959, just shy of her birthday. She looks late thirties - it's hard to imagine her not looking late thirties, in theory she must have been a child at some point, but she gives the impression that she plopped into the world at Cambridge aged twenty-two and nothing that came before particularly mattered.

She feels no age at all. Penelope is Penelope. Her sense of self is a bit ragged, underneath the iron confidence she projects, and she could be ninety or nine hundred: it wouldn't matter. She'd still be her. Whatever that means.

Which Clan do they belong to? How do they feel about their Clan?

Lasombra. Nominally, Lasombra antitribu, but which sense of the word is... up for debate. In the Sabbat, she was very much a "pack first, sect second, clan third" thinker - as far as she's concerned, all True Sabbat are antitribu and should be working on transcending the limitations of their bloodline, and the Panders who rise from mass Embraces are lucky to have a head start.

But... she still has a chip on her shoulder about it. She is of the bloodline of Montano, and she's been thoroughly taught what that means. An outcast's outcast, choosing the high and noble road, and she can't have that without being Lasombra, and she can't really dine out on it in the Sabbat either.

Which Disciplines do they possess, and which do they favor using?

Oblivion 3, Dominate 2, Celerity 1, and if I re-use her as an antagonist for another story, she'll have picked up some Potence and Animalism to go (and probably a bit more Oblivion). In her role as priestess and interrogator, she finds the applied theatricality of Oblivion suits her down to the ground, but in the field, she's more reliant on her Celerity and talent for stealth.

Getting a Life with Sorcha

Do they still have mortal family or friends, or descendants of those people? Who were they closest to during life, and is there anyone they’ve contacted after their Embrace?

Hell yes she does - she's a Dunsirn, she still lived with her folks for the first six months after she died. Besides her vampire da, Sorcha is still in touch with her mother in Venice, and most of the cousins she grew up with are at least on Instagram-commenting terms. Schoolfriends are fewer and further between - she's sold drugs to a lot of them but that doesn't mean they're friends. She has stayed in touch with Wee Tam, her tenant and bestie and Touchstone, and she rooms with a little gang of medical students who know her as their weird RA who lives in the cellar and can't go to lectures 'cause she's got Schere's Disease. On top of that, she has a lot of acquaintances - she's distinctive, she's out on the town at least three nights a week, and she's got the good molly.

What were their hobbies, skills, and interests?

Hmm, this is trickier - Sorcha tends to monetise anything she's good at - but she never figured out how to make money out of dance, or gymnastics. Her form's not great, but she's surprisingly bendy and she has a good time with it.

Her school reports indicated she had a prodigious knack for chemistry and design - the subjects she ended up taking to Bacc. level and walking out with a Distinction, thank you kindly.

She likes karaoke, but she has an awful singing voice, and has been gently dissuaded from participating.

When they were Embraced, what was the aftermath like? Did they fake their death, do their loved ones think they went missing, etc.?

Oh, Christ. Sorcha's Embrace was one of the events that kicked off a whole chronicle. She bled out on her junkie "boyfriend's" mattress, and was rescued by her dad, and she doesn't know which of them Embraced her or why she came out thinblood. All she knows is, Jimmy's very dead (he copped a hatchet to the back of the head two nights after she died), and to all intents and purposes she is Alistair's childe.

Her family knew, of course they knew - Hecata, remember? Most of her casual acquaintances have heard that she OD'd, and suspect that her dad had something to do with what happened to Jimmy, and that's another reason people from school don't stay too close to her - nobody wants to be next. She was back on the dancefloor by the end of the month though, bragging about her results and dancing her ass off... and then she really disappeared, leaving Glasgow for the best part of three years.

Her social media was deleted and remade a couple of times in there, she was posting from LA (except when she wasn't) and she went very #desertaesthetic for a while, then off the grid completely, but she seems to have come out swinging in the last eighteen months.

The thing is, people who know Sorcha know she's a freak, and a dealer, and that her dad's some sort of gangster. They're kinda used to weird shit happening around her. It's a big part of how she gets away with being like she is.
