We've mentioned Cory's friends before but now we have them! Andrew is an actor/ singer and he's in a lot of the local productions. Lloyd is also an actress but she helps out with tech/ set stuff. Webber... Really only got involved once Cory started working for Brozone... For obvious reasons. He was a gaffer or something idk

Been thinking...
So, because of the absence of brozone's parents in the 3rd movie, we assume that they either were killed or terrible parents, so comes in John having to raise his siblings (presumably) by himself. Their grandma probably not being much help.
We usually talk about the stress and impact it probably had on John, suddenly having to step us as the leader of the household at such a young age, but what about Bruce - the second oldest?
Bruce probably witnessed the change of character of John, watching his brother force himself to mature. From being a goofy and playful older brother who loved to sleep in, to someone who'd already be busy in the morning and somehow always tired, a sad look evident in his eyes. Especially when their younger brothers started to enter the picture.
He would notice how there would already be breakfast on the table once he awakes, how JD would immediately take action whenever either Clay or Floyd would start to cry or throw a tantrum, immediately running to their side cheering them up, and how the eldest would always be the last to sleep and the first to wake up the next day.
He'd also witnessed John start Brozone, and he'd do his best to help, just wanting to see his brother genuinely smile again. All he wanted was to see the brother who would give him piggyback rides every morning as their mom would make breakfast, the brother who'd easily laugh at his jokes and make funny faces all the time, the brother who'd chase him around the pod then proceeding to tickle him relentlessly once he caught him. He just wants his older brother back. To see him again.
But after years passed, and his younger brothers started to get involved in the boyband and a new baby arrives (Branch), that hope started to feel impossible. John was now annoying, controlling, and obsessed with being perfect. Barely thinking about the well-being of others at this point, his only goal is to please the fans and make sure Brozone is in top shape.
Bruce hated this. He hated the toxicity weighing down their relationship as brothers. He hated always being told to do better because it's always never enough. He hated John, and it hurts him to feel that way towards his first friend, and now first enemy.
And so you bet it broke his heart immensely when the boyband broke up, and that John was the first to leave. Not even leaving with a proper goodbye or a guarantee that he's coming back. Not even bothering to look back at any of his brothers, not even to him.
But even if he was so angry and tired of his shit that night, a distant part of his heart sobbed when John left the pod. If he didn't have self-control and pride, he'd probably just break down there and then. But instead, he also walked out, desperate to leave and finally be able to breathe again.
Fast forward to 20 years later, you bet it took every bit of Bruce's willpower not to tackle John in a tight hug once he laid his eyes on him again. Despite the heartaches and tears JD had caused in the past, he was still his brother, and he may not admit it out loud, but he still loves John, so much, and he missed him, so so badly.

Hi! So i just had an idea and knew I had to write about it right away!
John and Bruce's dynamic as siblings is totally underrated and smth we need to talk about more often ^ i love them both sm and i'd love to see them together more often and know of their relationship with one another <3
[Also i headcanon that Bruce called John Johnny as a kid, and when he calls him that now that they're older, JD is smitten and moved to tears]
Thxs for reading! Thoughts?

I'm loving your takes in the Treasure Planet au <3
If you don't mind me asking, what's JD's story? How did he end up as a pirate?
Also, I can totally see Gary as Ben
Ahhh thank you!! and especially thank you for giving me the idea for this au in the first place!!! I'm glad you like my takes so far! As for Jd's story here's what i've thought up so far!
JD along w/ his little brothers and grandma live on the mining planet montressor. After losing their parents, the family struggle financially barely scraping by w/ the inn. As the oldest JD begins working in the mines.
With all the piling stress, JD starts to think back to a story his parents used to tell him, Treasure Planet. So in his off time he finds anything he can about TP, becomes lowkey obsessed w/ it, convincing himself that if he can somehow find it all of their problems will be solved. This causes some problems as well as JD barely interacts with his family anymore, too busy chasing some children's story. Everything boils over. Some stuff happens, some words are said and boom! brozone falling out happens. JD leaves first swearing that he'll find treasure planet and won't come back until then.
So he goes off getting in all kinds of trouble. Sneaking into the shadiest places, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. He didn't mean to become a pirate (for the most part) it just sort of happened. But boy does he lean into it. John gains a tough streak. He makes a name for himself (John Silver) his charisma & acquired cutthroat manner, gains him respect & gathers him a crew.
He's been chasing this dream for so long, has sacrifced so much (his name, family, body). HIS treasure will make it all worth it, every crime he committed, every person he's hurt won't matter one bit. The years he's missed out on? Pshhh, just a speck compared to what's to come. There is no other option, that treasure will be his. It's owed to him.

This is the first time im realizing this..
how Bruce looks as an adult is the complete opposite of how he looked when he was in BroZone
Like, as an adult he let his hair grow out and be how he wanted it, while as a teen it seemed very well kept where it needed to be at a certain length. Or like as a teen he was super obsessed with his body image and being RIPPED (mostly because of John Dory) But as an adult, he seems so much more laid back and chill, and he's got a total dad bod (WHICH HE SLAYS)
I just thought this was an interesting detail. Sry if it's dumb.
Hey no shame in being late to the party man lol
But YEAS he is so<333 because to get from following peak troll beauty standards and being shredded to a happy married fat dude you KNOW he had to have gone through some pretty rough mental battles with his own self about food and body image to get to the point of being as happy and confident and strong as he's shown to be its soooo lovely to see I'm proud of him smile
It's kind of sad that he's like. One of the only Good representations I've seen of a fat character in media, like his weight gain isn't even mentioned in the movie it just IS and he's perfectly happy and healthy despite his past and I love it for that qwq MORE FAT CHARACTERS LIKE THIS PLEASE. HUMAN ONES WOULD BE GREAT THANKS 👍 lmao
Anyway I love Bruce if you're mean about him ever I'm stealing something from your fuckign house‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

well, hell, JD receives Velvet's letter posing as Branch, and totally loses it, he goes himself to see if it's true, and Branch is scared because he's never seen John Dory so upset, and he doesn't remember seeing him like that (and I take the opportunity to say that Branch has repressed memories about his brothers' anger when he was a baby because they were very scary), and then Velvet and Veener come back and John is still there, and they go to catch him, but John Dory loses him even more, there is blood, there is screams and in the end John has to leave to get the others but he can't get his little brother out of his head in a diamond cage, becoming transparent in his head, so during the time he is looking for Bruce Clay and Floyd he doesn't sleep and he barely eats.
So yeah, John Dory looks like shit,
And if they fight, the brothers yelled a lot when they met and John had to drag Clay and Bruce to Rhonda and he just explained what happened, Floyd was easier to convince, John only said Branch and Floyd was already in Rhonda.
When they are about to rescue Branch, they find Poppy (she was alive with Clay despite everything, and if the reunion between sisters happens), the brothers are not so happy to meet Branch's "girlfriend", and Poppy is happy to meeting Brozone and surprised because Branch is Bitty B, so when they arrive, they don't get caught this time despite the fights between the brothers, they are more worried about Branch than the fights.
The chase happens, and they free Branch (the same thing happens as Floyd, his almost death and everything), they don't let Poppy get close, they are hugging him, begging him to wake up, not to leave them, that they are sorry and that they will do better. , they become frantic, John even walks away and attacks Velvet, leaving her very injured, Viva and Poppy had to stop him because it seemed like he was going to take out her eye (in reality, he did take out an eye, but no Monteregus is going to do anything against the little mourning troll. ), and then Branch comes back, and if Poppy kisses him and everything, but the brothers don't let him go, they hug him and pamper him because now he's weak and delicate, so that's what would happen.
John moves into the bunker with Floyd, Clay moves to Pop Vigalle and visits Branch every day, Bruce travels from Vacay Island to Pop Vigalle to see Branch.
and Branch is more open to spending time with them.

Hi, it's me again!
The way I opened tumblr and you just slapped me in the face with your last cult leader! Branch post like DANG!!!?
Like, I kinda get it
Siblings relationships can be complicated, especially if there's a big age gap and they barely had time with him before Branch started creating his own personhood, it's almost like there's no affection outside of the barebones and "obligatory" familial love
I can see Floyd just lashing out and teen brain just said "before the baby we were ok, not GOOD but ok" especially since he was the youngest and then had to "stop being a child" so his emotions are mostly directed at the brother he hasn't have for a lot of time, at the "outsider"
JD I could see him being the type of person that compares how fast a kid develops to others or kinda forgets that a baby, a toddler and a teen react different to the same things
bigger families tend to do this "your brother did this better" "x could do it at your age" "it only took a few hrs for x to get it" "it's so easy! If x can do it so can you" totally ignoring the difference in age and personality. it might even fly over his head that Branch is actually developing faster than a lot of them at that age due to the expectations
AaAAAAAhHHH!!! You literally inspired me to continue working on this au so thank you and I’m so glad you got where I was going with the bros dynamics!!
Floyd’s perspective is very skewed because of his age and maturity, before branch came along he could pretend that everything was okay and as long as he stayed in line and did as Jd said everything would work out. But than branch happened and suddenly Floyd had a new responsibility, Floyd wasn’t the baby of the group anymore which meant all of John Dory’s micromanagement went towards branch.
And in some ways that was freeing and in others…, suddenly jd wasn’t just overbearing he was obsessive and Floyd did his best to take the brunt of jd’s behavior trying to shield branch from it. And although he tried his hardest to love branch and give him the affection he deserved he couldn’t just shake the resentment. Thinking ‘if branch never came along would they have been better off’ and all of it simmering just beneath the surface until the night of the band’s break up.
And John Dory…oh boy John Dory. Now obviously he wasn’t always this obsessed with the idea of perfection that’s something his parents instilled in him. And you’re right he does have trouble understanding that different ages react to things differently because when he was a child he was expected to know how to take care of himself and his brothers. So he thinks that they should know how to do that as well. It also doesn’t help jd that his parents never took the time to truly care for him, he basically raised himself until rosiepuff found him and a purple egg in an empty pod with no trace of their parents. Which will do serious damage on a child’s development and how he perceives the world.
Basically brozone’s parents suck and are the reasons everyone’s sad :) also everyone’s dynamic in my au is based off of something like brozone’s parents are inspired by the willoughbys parents! Branch and Floyd’s relationship is inspired on jinx and vi. And poppy, king Peppy, and vi relationship is inspired by adventure time’s relationships like Finn and Marvin, Marceline and hunson abedeer

*grabs ur hands gently* pls tell me the general plot of Phantom Thieves Brozone AU I have to know EVERYTHING 👀 gimme info on those thieving boys I’m already obsessed
*cracks knuckles*
Alright, the basic idea is that when Brozone was just a baby band, they got majorly screwed over by their manager. Like their career was ruined. So with no career and no adults to look after them (grandma is already gone at this point) all five of them go grey. Now grey and with nothing to lose, they decided to get revenge on their manager by breaking into his office and stealing from him. They succeeded, and they're so excited about it that they get their colors back. But the high doesn't last and they go grey again. So they continue to steal, always chasing that adrenaline rush to keep their colors.
So when the actual story starts this is where things stand.
Bruce and JD have mellowed out and no longer need to steal things to keep their colors but they still support their little brothers thieving ways.
Bruce runs the most popular milkshake bar in town and uses it to collect info about their targets.
JD works as a maintenance man in Bruce's bar and makes all of Branch's and Clay's gadgets.
Floyd had an accident and is now in a wheelchair. He works as Branch and Clay's computer man/hacker
It was Clay's idea to become Phantom Thieves instead of just regular thieves. He likes the showman ship of it.
When they aren't thieving, Clay and Branch work as bar tenders at Bruce's bar.
Poppy and Viva have been on the Phantom Thieves case since they first debuted. They have yet to come close to actually catching them.
Poppy and Viva are also regulars at Bruce's bar. It's totally not because of those really cute bar tenders, no way.
And most importantly, Mr. Dinkles knows everything. He's just not saying anything because he enjoys the drama 😉

Hey :) For TharaFrong prompts: so Frong is hurt and he suffers in silence because Thara brozoned him, but one time, during their meeting (because of course they still meet, they are BROS), he can't stay silent anymore and he tells Thara how he feels (more specifically, he yells). I leave Thara's reaction for your interpretation :D
Awww Frong totally is someone to suffer in silence, poor boy, but this fic will give him a chance to yell out is frustration! Thanks for the prompt ❤
Oh, to face your beautiful wrath || [AO3 Link]
“Are you angry?”
Frong took a bite from the celery, enjoying the satisfying crunch and then trying not to gag. Who put a whole celery stick into a cocktail?
“I’m not angry,” he answered, turned around and tried to get rid of the celery without letting Thara know what he was about to do. It was his own fault for ordering this weird-ass cocktail but in fact, it was Thara’s fault because he had approached him at the bar and Frong had forgotten what he wanted to order. Everything was Thara’s fault and maybe he was already on his way of getting drunk because he thought about telling Thara that it was all his fault.
“Are you sure?”
“Sure… bro,” Frong made a peace sign and used the arrival of P’Win to make his escape from Thara’s second approach that night to talk to him.
He took a sip from his drink and made a face. There was enough alcohol in it, sure, but at what cost? He stumbled towards the cosy sitting areas of the student bar they had decided to go to and saw how his friend group had already mingled with Duen’s and P’Win’s which meant he wasn’t going to be able to avoid Thara for long.
Ugh, why did everybody get along? Where was the cliché university rivalry the tv dramas had promised him?
Lies, nothing but lies.
“P’Frong!”
He turned, a bit wobbly, and squinted at the girls waving at him.
Oh! Oh, he knew them! With a big smile he walked towards the girls who he had made friends with during the volunteer camp. They didn’t even have to invite him, he made himself home between them, sinking back into the soft cushion on the couch.
He liked them. They smelled nice, they included him in the group order of sour-fruity drinks, and he didn’t have to do anything but listen and nod while they talked about everything and everyone. He especially liked how they hyped each other up and yes, he looked fantastic in his petrol-coloured button-down, thank you very much.
And he had the perfect view of the table where Thara sat.
Bro-zoner.
‘How are you doing’ – writer.
‘What are you doing tonight’ – messenger.
‘Let’s meet up’ – proposal…-ist?
And Frong had been good about it. He hadn’t ghosted Thara or had been mean to him. He hadn’t acted like it was his fault for not liking Frong… that way.
It wasn’t his fault but couldn’t have a man some basic empathy? Couldn’t he, magically, understand why Frong wanted a bit of distance between them? They had gone on a freaking bicycle tour for heaven’s sake. With a picnic. It had been idyllic; it had been romantic and Frong had wanted to pour the Cha Yen over Thara’s head.
Now they were here again and Frong suffered in silence and just wanted to get drunk in peace to nurse a headache the next day, so he was able to pretend like everything was peachy between them when they saw each other again.
Which was right the next freaking day!
Frong groaned into the Iced Americano in front of him. Drunk-Frong made the worst decisions. The next time he was going to put a sign around his neck which said: ‘Everything I promise this evening is not going to happen.’
“Are you alright?”
Frong continued to stare in his coffee. He wasn’t able to meet Thara’s concerned face so early in the morning, next thing you know he was going to smile at you.
“Do you need paracetamol?” There was a teasing lit in Thara’s voice and yay they had an insider-joke but Frong just wanted to growl.
Who volunteered at seven am in the morning? Also, why was everyone so obsessed with volunteering all of a sudden? They could have repaired and painted the fence of the kindergarten every other day!
“I’m good,” he said and waved weakly. Thara wouldn’t leave his side if he wasn’t going to show him that everything was fine, so he forced his aching body to leave the shadowy place under the big tree and slouched towards the rest of the group where Duen arranged the duties and if Bohn wasn’t such a feral cat Frong would have kissed him for getting the job as ‘overseer’.
Maybe the XXL cup of coffee, the big sunglasses, and the shirt he had already worn yesterday didn’t make the best impression of him being able to handle a brush today.
Which was fine by him.
What wasn’t fine was that Thara found him in every spot he disappeared to for some peace and quiet. Yes, the kindergarten wasn’t that big but had the man a Frong-radar?
“You should drink something else than coffee,” Thara said this time and Frong, sitting on a miniature chair, rattled with his cup.
“It’s mostly ice cubes now.”
Was now the time when Thara would force-feed him a paracetamol? He had a weird twinkle in his eyes that told Frong he was on thin ice with Thara’s patience. Maybe not being able to doctor Frong around grated on Thara’s nerves.
Good.
Frong put the sunglasses back on his nose because the more time he spent with Thara alone the higher the chance Thara wanted to talk to him about serious stuff.
“I should go back and do my job as the overseer.”
“Boss is doing your job at the moment. But it feels like everyone is ready to stage a revolt soon.”
“Even more important to go and do my job.”
“Frong.”
Ugh.
Frong half-turned, his feet rooted to the spot, his heart already begging for Thara to just drop it. Who would have thought that them being bros included heart-to-heart conversations? Which was a wasted question to ask because all of this had started because Frong had felt secure enough, seen enough, to have heart-to-heart conversations. When had been the last time he had told someone about his dad?
“Frong,” Thara repeated as if he had asked a question. Should he just magically know what he wanted from him? Which he knew. And Thara knew that he knew.
It didn’t make Frong more willing to tell Thara what was going on.
Thara just looked at him and for all that he was silent, he was incredible loud about it.
“You’re angry with me.”
“I’m not angry,” Frong denied immediately.
“You are,” Thara said and did that thing where he raised his arms and showed Frong his palms as if to pacify him and Frong pressed his teeth together.
“I am. Not. Angry,” he all but hissed. The cup in his hand crunched ominously and Frong saw how Thara’s eyes glanced at it quickly. It made him want to throw the cup at him.
He felt gross and sweaty and there was a suspicious spot at the collar of his button-down and he had no idea how to say no to Thara and he had enough of this day and—
“You can tell me ev—”
“NO, I CAN’T!”, Frong yelled and almost threw the cup against the wall full of colourful pictures of trees and fruits.
“I CAN’T TELL YOU SHIT BECAUSE YOU THINK WE ARE BRO’S AND I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING ELSE BETWEEN US AND I CAN’T TELL YOU HOW MUCH THAT HURTS WHEN YOU WANT TO SEE ME ALL THE TIME AND ACT LIKE WE’RE BEST FRIENDS!”
Silence. Only broken by Frong’s heavy breathing.
Oh god, he thought. Oh god, he had said that. He had said that. And he couldn’t look nor walk away. He was frozen but felt like he would start to shake soon. He breathed like he had run a marathon and stared at Thara who stared back at him, wide-eyed and Thara opened his mouth and Frong didn’t want to hear anything he had to say but he couldn’t move and words left Thara’s mouth.
“You are in love with Duen,” Thara said.
“I’m… what?” Frong’s anger was replaced by confusion so suddenly he felt like a ton of bricks had hit him at once. But the scene didn’t change. Thara still stood in front of him and the words he had said hovered between them, almost tangible, like the words of affirmation on the wall.
Be kind, raise your hand, let others speak.
“You are in love with Duen,” Thara repeated and then he frowned and maybe he finally realized that something was not fitting together.
“I’m not in love with Duen,” Frong said and then had to backtrack, “I had a crush on him, yes, but that’s not… that’s totally different to… Why would I explicitly ask you to come to the camp too if I wanted Duen at that point? I went there with people I met either recently or who weren’t in my friend group.”
He got loud again.
“I could have forced my friends to come too, but I didn’t, you idiot! I asked you! I practically begged you to come on the trip with me! So, I could be with you on that trip! WITH YOU!”
“Ehm… guys?”
Frong spun around. Boss stood in the door looking at them with a pained face and playing nervously with his fingers.
“Are you two okay? We heard some yelling, and I pulled the short stick so I’m here to—”
But he was cut short by Thara who was on the door in a few long strides, pushed Boss back and closed the door on his startled face. Frong saw how he took a deep breath, the tension in his back visible and then he turned around and Frong instinctively wanted to take a step back. He didn’t know that face on Thara.
“You are not in love with Duen?”, Thara asked again and for all his bravery a few minutes ago Frong felt suddenly shy. He had confessed, hadn’t he?
He shook his head. It wasn’t like he could take his words back and even though Boss had been vague about the others and him hearing some ‘yelling’ Frong was sure that at least Bohn had already memorized what he had yelled at Thara.
There was no turning back.
“I’m not,” he said and swallowed nervously, “not with Duen.”
And he had no idea what he expected. All the situations he had played in his mind about him confessing his feelings hadn’t covered him yelling them at Thara.
And Thara. Thara looked at him and his eyes seemed darker and Frong realized that he never had seen him devoid of the little smile hiding in the corner of his mouth. Frong felt like he should make a joke, say something to lighten the mood but he couldn’t, he could only look back at Thara and then Thara let out a huge breath and leaned his head back, bumping it slightly against the door, the arch of his neck prominent, the swallow, the bobbing of his Adam’s apple and Frong’s mouth got dry.
“Come here,” Thara said suddenly and held his arm out, his head still rested back on the door and when Frong took more time than he apparently anticipated he moved his head back and repeated himself.
“Come here.”
Frong’s breath hitched. But his body moved on his own and he took Thara’s hand and the pull was strong and firm and made him let go of the cup, which crashed to the ground, but he was already against Thara’s body and Thara cupped his head and they fell against the door, a dull sound and Thara captures his surprised sound with his lips.
Frong fell into the kiss as if they had kissed a thousand times before. Frong had never felt claimed by a kiss, had never felt owned, but this was how he wanted to feel while being kissed he realized.
They parted, slowly, and Thara’s hands wouldn’t let him go far, the distance between them only centimetres.
“P’”, Frong murmured, a bit whiny and Thara smiled at him, a bit like Frong knew it, a bit like someone completely different and kissed him again.
end.

Hiii, What would happen if the obsessive brozone met branch in the wild (it's an au where branch couldn't go with the rest of the trolls and stayed living in the forest and ended up becoming something like a wild troll that can't speak)
does it sound bad? but it would be a pet type.
not quite like that but, just imagine this, John Dory found him and it was a big shock, his brother is gray and is, totally, a wild animal that is not capable of communicating or acting like a "normal" troll, he acts like an animal aggressive
so if John got a good amount of bites and scratches trying to control Branch, so if Branch has a mouthguard and some gloves, why John couldn't cut his claws (and the last straw is that John and the other brothers see it as even an aggressive kitten, when everyone else sees him as a super aggressive bloodthirsty tiger with homicidal tendencies), so John usually has to put a child leash on Branch when they go out because he is very aggressive.
but when Branch got "used" to John he was more meek, because he remembers that he is his older brother and it feels familiar for Branch to listen to and follow John's example.
So when you meet the other brothers Branch is kind of like a trained attack dog loyal to his trainer, John in this case, so if the brothers fight and either Bruce or Clay or Floyd does something physical, whether it's just If you push or touch John in a hostile manner, Branch will attack.
And how do the others react to Wild Branch? They are angry at the Pop Trolls, they want blood at this point, they are worried about the way Branch acts, and a little jealous of John because Branch accepts hugs and cuddles alone from JD and gives him he growls at anyone who approaches him.
And if it's a little confusing about the way Branch acts, it's because I'm taking it for stunted development. When everyone left BergenTown Branch, they were about 5 or 6 years old at most. A child's brain is still developing, like that. that Branch learned from what was around him, animal behavior, to imitate and survive in a better way.

¡Heya!
Adoro a tus Obsessive! BroZone 💖💖💖
lo repido, AMO QUE LES GUSTE MI AU, ME HACE FELIZ!!! B: ]
ah well that would be another can of worms
Let's say they succeed, they find something to turn Branch into a child, who remember, is traumatized and paranoid as hell.
That boy doesn't even trust his shadow, so what would happen little gray Branch wakes up, and he sees his older brothers, well older?
a pitched battle, that would happen, that little grembling won't let them catch him and he has 0 confidence in the 4 of them, including Floyd, I think that at that age Branch no longer believed that Floyd was going to come back, so it would be restarting the process of gain Branch's trust, but the advantage is that Branch does not trust his friends, Snack Pack (the other troll leaders, the ambassadors, the bounty hunters, not to mention the bergens) so Branch is in total hands of Brozone, and Not even Creek can help this time (unless he kidnaps him, but that would only make everything worse)
