I have a lot of really great pictures of Nanuq- in focus, good composition, etc. And I also have a lot of pretty bad pictures of Nanuq- and in a lot of them he's the happiest he could be. And i really miss him a lot, so here- some terrible photos of my excellent dog.

An Baby, extremely suspicious of the incoming tide, and Yearling's First Harness time. The one and only time his reaction to that harness was bored befuddlement and not 'instant joyful zoomies.'

Still mostly baby, refusing to get out of the driver's seat of the car because this is where the Snow is and this is where the Bacon Lady is and we can't leave yet.

Self-explanatory

A park saga of finding a delicious grody tennis ball, becoming a husky vortex of murdergrowlraarg, and then realizing it's california and sunny and it's hot so now it's time to de-vortex and just lay down and snap lazily at each other. (white is Sasha, black is Mishka; the dog park quickly learned what Husky Hour really meant and either adapted to a background noise of murder or avoided the park around sundown)

And finally, his favoritest thing ever: mud and stormy weather and nyoom. That estuary muck took like four rounds of scrubbing, and he was the saddest wet beaft in existence during that process. He had that sproingy wooly husky fur that traps the smallest bits of grit and particulates but loooved mud puddles and smushy grass and lakeshore/bayshore shenanigans.

He was ours and we loved him.

lately ive been watching old baconwaffle vods from s4 ~ s5 and the difference between old spacewaffles vs current spacewaffles is insane bc bacon has kinda just always crumpled like a wet paper bag when it comes to what planet wants, but he seems so much more...idk. soft? or less callous(?) w planet then he was before.

or well like okay. he was never cruel or insensitive w planet but idk a better word. he was just as bitchy w planet as he was w everyone back then— whereas now he seems a bit more patient and mellowed out in general but he still seems to have a sharp tongue w like everyone Except planet to a pretty noticeable degree.

nowadays he seems to hold this fondness for most things planet does and says in general. like a fondness for planets existence. he doesnt coddle planet in any way but he very openly cares abt him and he gets amused by things planet does i know for a FACT he'd give mapicc, kab, or zam shit for if they did the same thing LOL. like even when hes annoyed or frustrated bc of planet in any way, he never crashes out AT planet like he would most others who push him that far

idk what the point of this was, it was just a thought i had while continuing my other sw yaps and watching the pride month special vod from 2023 specifically bc seeing the difference between older sw vs modern sw is very interesting bc its subtle but also very blatant. if that makes sense LOL

Ok but in your art of the bats meeting younger versions of themselves and it all centers around Jason’s death and resurrection I’m curious what Dick and Damian are telling their younger selves. 🤔

My original plan was to continue it going through the bats but I kinda lost interest in that now so I'll just tell you the only one I actually thought about was steph I don't know what she was gonna tell her younger self but it was gonna end with her driving over both Tim and Jason with a car

Sometimes I think about how Ford has all the power in their relationship now. Not only because Bill’s kind of desperate to keep him but because he’s one of the people in charge of Bill’s rehabilitation. And how tbh they’re both probably into the new dynamic

while ford has a good chunk of the power in the relationship now (especially when compared to their relationship in basically all gf canon), the man is not without his limitations. he isn’t a theraprism-assigned administrator (like soos n melody), so he lacks the power they have. i also did kinda nerf him by making him psychologically unwell. dynamically speaking, though, they have had a jarring power exchange.

I wanted to do another portrait of xisuma like the one i did for EX! obviously, Xisuma is a lot bulkier than EX bc he lives a VERY active lifestyle. The brothers both have similar armor styles but X has arm guards he is cooler… haha kidding

I know this could work for the earlier prompt of dance, but when I saw AU I knew I had to draw the God AU boys! I promised myself I'd draw them for one of the days, so have them being dorks and dancing together! I drew a scene from chapter 1 of the fic, 'A Million Tiny Bright Lights in the Sky'.
