#south park#butters stotch#vic chaos#professor chaos#marjorine stotch#vampire butters#my art#sketches#i felt the need to include the drawing explaining vic#he is not the ''evil alter'' he is a protector who wants revenge on their abusers#also while im here: as i see it ''vic'' and ''professor chaos'' become two different alters at some point in the future#so vic chaos in post covid is not professor victor chaos. you know?#vic chaos in post covid splits from butters being grounded for 16 years. and so the prof victor chaos we have here becomes prof chaos#two different alters IN THE FUTURE as of now they are one.#and also vic will always be older than butters. the only ones who dont age are marjorine and butters after a point#i like to imagine as an adult. even in return to covid. vic is still the host of the system. so butters basically becomes a little who is#like at oldest maybe 14#i imagine vampire will grow with butters until hes a teenager and then stop aging around 14-16.#also i reference inside mari in the first sketch but really i think of this more like jane from doom patrol. how the entire system works to#protect kay. how jane becomes the host for years and has the pressure put on her not to do anything that would hurt kay.#like that feels like vic chaos to me. hes got pressure on him to not hurt butters. and theyve all got a job to protect butters.#sorry for the ramble ill definitely draw smth in reference to the scene from doom patrol s4 when jane gets high and apologizes to kay#and shes like ''im sorry. this is your body.'' and kay goes ''its our body.''

sorry if you've already answered this question but what did you think about the ending or mr robot? I feel like the ending was kind of a cop out and especially what happened to tyrell
as for the tyrell part, i totally agree, and i talked about that already a bit here.
as for the overall ending... i didnt like it at first, but upon rewatching, it makes complete sense. elliot not actually being elliot is so key to the plot: its why he forgets darlene, why he forgets mr robot, and why he starts the series completely amnesiac about anything related to his childhood trauma. its also hinted at as early as his first scene: when he confronts rohit/ron at the coffee shop, he says "whoever controls the exit nodes is the one who controls the traffic, which makes me... the one in control." as we discover in s4e11 "exit" (aptly named lol) elliot/mastermind really IS in control of the exits of his own mind, which hes used in order to trap real!elliot. exit signs are also a recurring visual motif in the show. elliot is often framed by them, and they're present in every episode (i recently confirmed this on a rewatch... they're everywhere!)
also, in s1e4, angela during the dream sequence mentions that elliot was "only born a month ago," meaning he was formed at the very beginning of the series. theres no explanation for this other than the elliot we see being an alter.
the recurring theme of loops is another hint that all isnt what it seems, as well. first, during the hallucination sequence in s1e4, elliots fish talks to him, saying his life is just the same events happening over and over. then, in s2, elliot creates his "perfectly constructed loop" in prison to keep mr robot away. as we find out at the end of s4, both of these moments reflect what is happening to real!elliot: hes trapped in a loop where nothing changes. elliots last name is even a reference to infinite loops in programming!
moreover, the fights between mr robot and elliot only make sense when we have the context that elliot isnt actually elliot. mr robot is the protector—so why does he spend s1 and s2 lying to and fighting elliot? why is he so intent on making the evil corp hack happen as quickly as possible? because he believes its the only thing that will make mastermind bring real!elliot back. both mr robot and mastermind believe the world is unsafe and scary, so they try to protect elliot. whereas mr robot fights on elliots behalf, mastermind tries to create a perfect utopia where everything is fair and equal, oppression doesnt exist, and people arent enslaved by evil corp. he blames evil corp for his fathers abuse, because it happened after his father got sick from the evil corp chemical spill, so he wants to get rid of evil corp entirely. of course, masterminds visions of utopia just arent realistic, so when he starts going after the deus group, then whiterose, mr robot realizes his mission has no actual end. the world will never be safe enough for mastermind to give up control and let real!elliot back out, and if left to his own devices, mastermind will continue on a revenge rampage forever, until it completely destroys his sense of morality (like with what he did to olivia). so, mr robot shows him what hes done, and lets mastermind see the life hes forced real!elliot to live for the past year. only that makes mastermind let go.
the entire show also makes sense when you realize its another extension of masterminds controlling behaviour as well. as the (unreliable) narrator, he controls what we see and hear. he lies to us all of s2 about being in prison, he makes us hear evil corp when other characters say e corp, and he primes us to believe certain things by influencing our opinions via his voiceover narration. the series starts with masterminds famous "hello friend"—i think hes talking to real!elliot, whether he knows it or not. considering the series ends with all of the alters sitting down and "uploading" their memories for real!elliot to see, literally on a tv screen, like how we, the audience, have watched the series unfold, im pretty convinced the audience is real!elliot.
so all of that to say, i dont think the ending was a cop out. i think it was carefully planned and was somewhat obvious from the beginning, and many aspects of the show only make sense if we know mastermind is not the real elliot.
HOWEVER... i dont like how it was handled. im of the opinion that mr robot needed one more season. s4 was way too fast paced, lacked a lot of the worldbuilding of the previous seasons, and tried to accomplish so much that a lot of things fell to the wayside. in a perfect world, s4 would have been 10 episodes, and focused more on the world after elliot reversed the evil corp debt hack, as well as more set up on how darlene and elliot planned to take down the deus group, with the events of "proxy authentication error" serving as the season finale.
then, s5 would be one long build up to a showdown between elliot and whiterose, with the deus group hack and an actual attempt at real-world revolution following it. the average person would become completely hostile to capitalism upon it being unequivocally proven that its a rigged game run by the worlds wealthiest people, with governments and corporations acting as pawns designed to extract wealth from the workers, and people would get pissed off and demand reform (violently, ideally).
also, maybe halfway through s5, we would get the mastermind reveal, at which point mastermind would totally enter his villain arc. i always felt like he gave up control a little TOO easily in the finale, given how obsessed he was with being "the one in control" in s2/3. i would have liked for him to go off the deep end a bit and grow even more convicted in his revenge mission as a result. but this is just my fantasy lol
wow okay this answer is getting super long so ill stop here. but basically i think the ending we got was necessary, but it could have been handled wayyy better.

System roles analysis of the colors
Green- host/anp maybe gate keeper
Green is shown on multiple occasions to not only be the defacto leader but also the one who has the easiest time makeing deceions, given what a hosts entire job is, that seems like the best role for him. Staying in control and makeing desions when the others are off-line
Blue- protector/"revenger"
I put revenger in quotes because really it's just a subclass of protector, he's angry and wants to get back at those who hurt the system, thus revenger. He's head strong and angry as well as being shown to be the most fight heavy, protector just makes sense, a role where his only real point is to protect the body
Red- internal self helper
I have a reason for this one! Red is on many accounts the one who understands feelings, aka the entire job of a self helper, he knows the emotions of the others inside and out, makeing him perfect for the role!
Vio- "apathetic alter"/trauma holder
I know this seems like an odd choice but it seemed to fit best with my experience of trauma holders, they tend to have lower emotional caps but are some of the few I've found that can on more then one occasion actually break said cap, they tend to be more logical and wary because of the fact they know more then the rest, and they keep a calculated disstence from the other alters in fear of a memory break, sound fermilure?
And of course if you want to include him
Shadow - former persecuter/ the scape goat/ emotional protector
Look ok, this is a setrotype but most bad alters are just confused as to how to help, shadows actually role in the system would likely be the scape goat, the alter that formed because they where told they where awfull and evil, he's there to take the emotional hits where blues there to take the physical ones

Venom - Ryuk / Eddie - Light?
I guess its the same as the previous ask, huh? *facepalm*
Well I wrote for it a few months ago but never got around to posting it but always meant to go back and edit but, ahhhh I'm sorry!
Here is the mostly unedited brain vomit from November 2020:
I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand the ask.
Were you asking me to compare the characters, compare the ships or shipping them all together?
I guess I'll just ramble for a bit about my two main hyperfixations...
I've long seen parallels between Light Yagami and Eddie Brock, especially comics!Eddie in terms of the flavor of their characters, their moral codes and character flaws (arrogance, conniving, opportunistic), power from monster partner, and (for comics!eddie) their relations to their narrative foils.
Also I see parallels between comics Eddie and Mello but I feel that's more terms of aesthetic/superficial. Blonde, catholic, like leather, motorcycles, chocolate and revenge. But I digress...
Comics Eddie and Venom initially during the original villain run I believe was meant to be a kind of narrative foil for Peter Parker, a kind of what if Peter went evil, Spiderman with murder.
And Light's character also reminds me a lot of Peter Parker, especially in the beginning of the series--both in character design and the lying, sneaking, hacking, and ha-ha I'm so clever... but instead of like leaping off buildings his secret is murder.
Light and comics!Eddie are both obsessed with their narrative foils/nemesis/equal and-opposite but for different reasons and with different outcomes.
L-Embarrassed Light and threatened to have him caught and killed him.
Develop a "friendship" to try and murder each other. Kills L and later regrets it, or at the very least seems sad he's no longer around.
Spiderman-embarrassed Eddie while he was already having the worst day of his life, getting him fired AND he hurt Venom. Tries to kill Spiderman but doesn't succeed but they think they did for a while and are happy about it. There's no angst because from their perspective they had rid the world of an evil, the man that hurt them both.
When they think they succeed at killing Spiderman, the man who hurt them, that everyone lauds as a hero is dead.. Eddie and Venom are just happily living on an island together, deciding to stay together even though the revenge that brought them together was over and just living, free of burden of hating Spiderman knowing he got his revenge... then spidey shows up alive and that's the end if that.
Later after Spiderman saves Anne, Eddie realizes he wasn't the evil he thought he was. So they move away, and tries to let it go of their obsession, even though Spiderman hurt them (and continues to do so), focusing on themselves instead and protecting a homeless community.
Of course its easier to try to seek redemption when you're bulletproof.
Venom's character has changed and grown since the initial villain days, (well depending on the writer) and the Venom symbiote has become a character with autonomy and not just a costume/plot device/metaphor for drug addiction--again Venom stories can be very different depending on the writer. Being a long-time fan my perceptions of Venom are shaped by comic canon but for the most part we'll focus here on Eddie and Venom as a loving couple.
In a way Movie!Venom feels like a fanfic version, a soft boy!Eddie, but in a good way--it's fun. Eddie gets to learn and grow from his mistakes and the movie ends with Eddie and Venom as a hero...
A hero who eats people--a situation that cannot be sustained. Much like wanting to solve all the world's problems with a murder notebook--barring some comic book miracle this can only end badly.
First impulse upon encountering a problem is kill it.
But this manifests in different ways.
If you've pissed off...
Light- he will find your name and your death will be carefully planned down to the minute.
Venom-Your death will be immediate, swift, and messy.
---
Even though I use the venom movie as a basis for headcanons here. I feel we can pick and choose from the often contradictory comic canon (the way these characters are written varies wildly depending on the author) which canon parts we like.
Comic!Eddie is more like Light than movie!Eddie in their character flaws.
Conniving, opportunistic...
They have a similar moral code.
Black and white morality
In the comics they have another thing in common-a nemesis to obsess over.
In philosophy...
Kill the guilty, save the innocent.
Comic!Eddie develops a God/messiah complex at one point though it's a temporary thing.
Movie!eddie is just he starting on his venom journey but has notably less compunction than comic!eddie about eating people.
---
Eddie and Light
I'm not shipping them romantically in my current found family au Stray. But I could see the potential there to ship--Venom has scores of different canons to pick and choose from, not just the movie. So you could have an au with College!Eddie meeting college!Light so they are closer in age.
How Light and Eddie would interact depends entirely on how they meet. For instance in the comics Venom is ride or die with friends who are also "protectors of the innocent" like Morbius the living vampire. But has animosity with the Punisher who also has a very similar outlook on life. It all depends on how they meet whether they are allies or they might try to destroy each other.
Kira
In canon Kira sees himself as a God beyond reproach and anyone else doing what he does as a murderer deserving of death. He might be allies for a time with other killers like Misa and Mikami but ultimately sees them as scum and will kill them the moment they are no longer useful.
Of course this is fanfiction and canon has no power here.
Canon was dark enough, so if I want Light to grow as a person, make friends and be happy, he will--canon be damned, lol.
Eddie = writing nerd
Peter = science nerd
Light and L = total nerds
Ryuk likes soap operas, sitcoms
Venom likes medical dramas
Ryuk and Venom = soft goth monsterboys or NBs who love snacks, tv, and one (1) justice-driven human.
---
Tropes VenomxEddie Symbrock/veddie and Ryght/Terraito/Deathgods have in common
Beauty and the beast-- "but I would never call you beast." You've got you're ruthless human and cinnamon roll monster that just wants snacks and cuddles
Living in close proximity
Secret boyfriend/partner
Vigilante justice
Deep voice
Sharp teeth
Long tongue
Alien biology
Optional body alteration
Optional--tension with rival/Narrative foil
Angst tropes-- the threat of being imprisoned, institutionalized, or subjected to unethical experiments
Daddy issues
Praise kink

TW; Mention of mental illness/DID alters,
as well as murder,
cause y'know, we are talking about William Afton in this post.
I recently have been diagnosed as having Dissociative Identity Disorder as well as my other conditions.
I had figured this was the case for a few years now, honestly, but I didn't want to assume anything before I got diagnosed.
Also, if it wasn't obvious,
William Harold Afton / Springtrap is my main alter, that fronts the most, and talks in headspace the most.
The other alter I have, is Clopin Trouillefou, the playful, eccentric & witty Romani / French jester man from the Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Springtrap is pretty much my depressive side, while Clopin takes the place of my manic side.
But both are protector types, and keep me, Atom, the host, safe and happy.
So for people confused about why I would love Springtrap / William Afton; Not only was he a comfort character for over 5 years now, including through some very rough times, which only bonded me with him more,
but also he is literally one of my alters so we are pretty much always linked together mentally.
And that is why I fiercely defend the character, (at least, my William!!)
as not really as "evil" as people think,
but truly a very sad, mentally ill man that went completely mad over the death of his first child, and killed in revenge.
Otherwise, he only ever killed to harvest remnant for his creations that he thought could give everyone the power of immortality, thus he did have *somewhat* good intentions, even when committing horrible actions.
As that is who my own William is in headspace, he deeply regrets his actions regardless of if the canonical William actually does.
And also, just for the record, I want to be clear that I do not defend William's actions at his worst whatsoever.
I'm not trying to provide excuses, or say what he did was right, as it was NOT.
And I am in no way supportive of violence like that. Ever.
I just have a big connection with him, due to many events that happened in my life, and due to my mental illness(es).
So, I hope if any of you were confused about that or had any questions, that I cleared something up for you!
I know definitely a few people before have been weirded out by me liking William as a character,
so I thought it was only fair to explain my reasoning behind that.
Thanks for reading. 💜

Unliving is shrouded in mystery, with rumors circulating that Nekron is darkness itself, existing before life entirely, or that he was created by the darkness as its protector. Another claim is that the Guardians of the Universe clashed with Nekron close to the beginning of the universe and were the ones to imprison him in the Land of the Unliving.
Krona War

Nekron gloats
Trapped in his own realm throughout most of eternity, Nekron first became aware of the world of the living through the deceased cosmic villain Krona. A rift was opened in the continuum between dimensions, caused by the death of an immortal. And Nekron looked upon the universe and saw all that was life itself, and determined that he would become its master. So that he might escape his prison, he resurrected and empowered Krona, with an army of the undead at his disposal, to slaughter the Guardians of the Universe and widen the rift.[2] It took the combined might of the entire Green Lantern Corps to defeat them, in a colossal battle that resulted in literally hundreds of casualties. Hal Jordan entered the Land of the Unliving on a suicide mission, and harnessed the souls of his fallen Lanterns to fight back against the great evil. Their combined willpower overcame Nekron long enough for the Guardians to seal up the rift, and Hal escaped, leaving the Lord of the Unliving once more condemned to his lifeless prison.[3]
Further Appearances

The Ultimate Opponent
Although largely confined, Nekron has made several more breaches into our world and had interactions with superheroes. After Captain Atom died briefly, he was introduced to several incarnations of Death, including Death of the Endless and the Black Racer. They were each presented as a component of death... and Nekron represented the concept as a cosmic certainty, death as the ultimate opponent.[1] In an attempt to gain control of the Quantum Field life energy of the planet, he had carefully engineered the hero's death. Although he absorbed a great deal of the power, Captain Atom used his connection to steal energy from Nekron's own personal field, and depower him enough to defeat him in physical combat.[4]
Underworld Unleashed allowed him another opportunity to gain entrance to the physical plane. Destruction of the Tower of Fate created another rift into our dimension, and Nekron fought Nebiros for the privilege of conquering the world. He won the battle, and the undead souls of the damned surged across the Earth as Hell literally broke loose.[5]Alan Scott and Fate teamed up against him. Nekron almost gained full access to our world, but fighting against him with the great supernatural strength of Fate gave Green Lantern enough time to demolish the portal with his green flame.[6]

Through the Rift
He was able to return to our world once more during Ghosts. An outside supernatural force brought a number of dead Green Lanterns back to life, calling themselves the Green Lantern Corpse. This created another crack in his realm, but still not one large enough for him to squeeze through. Taking control of the undead Lanterns, he sent them to capture the last remaining descendant of his original nemeses... Kyle Rayner. If Nekron had killed him and harnessed his powers, then he would finally have been able to leave his prison, but Kyle escaped back out through the crack and personally put each and every one of the rogue Lanterns down in single combat. Although it was a long and difficult battle, putting them back to rest sealed the portal and ended Nekron's threat once more.[7]
Nekron was accidentally summoned onto our plane by the supernatural hero Witchfire, who used his incantation without realizing the consequences it would have. She teamed up with Wonder Woman to prevent him from sucking the life-force out of any more innocents, while he was feeding. The combination of mystical energies and godlike blows was sufficient to drive him back into his own realm on that occasion.[8]
Blackest Night
Main article: Blackest Night

Black Lantern Corps
Following the Final Crisis, Nekron makes his triumphant return during the Blackest Night, where he forms the Black Lantern Corps composed entirely of his zombies equipped with power rings to wreak havoc upon the universe. His plans for this stretched back toward the Sinestro Corps War, when he killed the Anti-Monitor and absorbed him to energize his own Central Power Battery on the planet Ryut in Sector 666.[9] The battery wouldn't become completely active until it was discovered and disturbed by Lanterns Ash and Saarek, his first new victims.[10] He has taken the fallen Guardian named Scar as one of his servants, for she was burned by the Anti-Monitor and poisoned by his touch, causing her to slowly die and come under his influence.[11] There is also evidence that he has been influencing William Hand, the criminal known as Black Hand, his entire life. His control over Black Hand was solidified when Hand killed himself and his family, with Nekron taking him as his herald.[12]
As his influence spreads throughout the universe, the dead rise and return to take revenge on the living, building his power by literally devouring the hearts and emotions of all those who still breathe.[13] Only those with emotional ties to superheroes and villains are resurrected, to achieve the maximum potential. The sheer quantity of death caused by his Black Lantern Rings charges the Central Battery to full power. At this climax, he transports himself and his forces down to Earth to personally command his army. Landing in the middle of Coast City, he turns every single dead citizen into a Black Lantern, announces that all owe their lives to him, and he has come to collect.[14] Many of Earth's mightiest heroes rally to defeat him, and representatives from all seven Lantern Corps. Atrocitus, Carol Ferris, Hal Jordan, Indigo, Larfleeze, Saint Walker and Sinestro pour their combined beams into his Power Battery, hoping to obliterate it with the full life-force energies of creation. This only makes him stronger, and he seems to have planned this. Nekron resurrects Batman as one of his most powerful agents, who then kills and revives Animal Man, Donna Troy, Green Arrow, Ice, Kid Flash, Superboy, Superman and Wonder Woman as Black Lanterns. These are all people who have come back from the dead at some point in their lives, and he claims they only escaped because he let them... to further his own goals. He plans to use his army to uncover a dark secret of the Guardians... and then return the universe to a state of quiet order.[15]
Nekron's goal is revealed to wanting to find and destroy the embodiment of life itself: the white Entity. He kills one of the Guardians and uses their blood to draw the Entity out of hiding, then attempts to kill it and with it, which will in turn kill all of life in the universe. Sinestro bonds with the Entity and attempts to battle Nekron.[16] Despite Sinestro destroying his physical form, another Black Lantern simply picks up his weapon, becoming Nekron's new physical form. Nekron then manages to take the Entity out of Sinestro. Hal Jordan bonds with the Entity and uses its power to restore the living heroes transformed into Black Lanterns to their normal selves. Hal uses the Entity to transform the heroes into White Lanterns, together they defeat Nekron by resurrecting Black Hand thus destroying Nekron's link to the living plane. The Entity resurrects the Anti-Monitor which destroys the Black Lantern Battery. With his link to the earthly plane severed Nekron's body is destroyed, ending the Blackest Night.[17]
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Unique Physiology: Nekron is a the personification of the absence of life and existence or the void before anything was. This gives him tremendous power as he is able to draw strength from the infinite abyss of darkness that predates existence along with the energy released at the time of death by beings he or his Black Lanterns kills. He is so powerful he can withstand an attack from the Anti-Monitor while sending him back to the anti-matter universe.
Immortality: Since he is not alive in the sense that we understand it, Nekron is technically incapable of being killed. As such, defeating him is extremely difficult; if defeated he will simply return to the Land of the Unliving.
Necromancy:Nekron's position as the Lord of the Unliving gave him a great number of powers that related to death itself.
Dark Lightning: He has the ability to fire bolts of a force called dark lightning from his hands, powerful enough to hurt and even kill the Guardians of the Universe. Despite being immensely powerful, it is not unstoppable. Wonder Woman was able to block it with her bracelets, although the force still threw her across the room.
Necrotic Empowerment: Nekron gains physical strength from the deaths he causes.
Reanimation: As the Lord of the Unliving, Nekron can reanimate corpses into fully functioning zombies working entirely under his control, and retaining semblance of their past personality.
Fatal Touch: The sustained touch of Nekron's hand can chill any mortal being to death, through supernatural means.
Reality Manipulation
Weaknesses
Dependency: For all his power, Nekron holds one great weakness: he cannot exist in this universe. In order to properly interact with the living, Nekron requires a link between between New Earth and the Land of the Unliving, such as a tear in space-time, or a mortal link such as Black Hand.
Paraphernalia
Equipment
Black Lantern Central Power Battery (Formerly)
Notes
Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
There is an unrelated monster named Nekron who fought the original Justice League of America.[18]
Trivia
It has been confirmed in official sources that his name is pronounced NEHK-Ron.[19]

Backstory/Background:
James was born James Buchanan Barnes in Shelbyville, Indiana in the early to late 1920s. Where he was raised on Army bases by his mother Winifred and his father George. He was born the eldest of four children. For most of the beginning of his life he and his family moved from base to base, as most army family's tended to do. Along these moves James had grown up being an Army brat, picking up on and getting actively involved in the army, even for such a young child. The happiness of course, as in most cases, didn't appear to last for too long. As in his young age his mother had died tragically early in his life. Leaving the young James to help in raising his younger siblings while his father had continued to work in the army.
This had affected James' early maternal emotions in wanting to protect others. James had learned these skills while taking care of his younger siblings through the years. As well as picking up how to fight in a skillful manner. To the point that he became a sort of mascot to the base his father seemed to come to settle on. On this base it is here that James comes to meet a boy only a few years older than himself, Steve Rodgers. Here they begin to form a close friendship. James coming to learn all about Steve's home life, and eventual becoming an orphan, as well as Steve's weakened sickly life style. This is until they are both eventually separated off and on until James is older.
This too, also did not last very long, either. When tragic news had come to the teenaged James that their father had died in an accident while away training on another base in a base in Virginia where they had finally moved to. After this event, James, old enough to not be sent to an orphanage has his siblings taken away from him, where they are sent away and eventually taken in by other families. James chooses to remain on the base and indulge in his enjoyment of the man who everyone called Captain America. Which James had been a huge fan of for the last several years since Captain America had started to appear on magazines and on bases.
During these days he tended to get into some trouble but showed he had the potential of being great, one day, if he had worked hard enough and remained focused on joining the army as more than just a mascot. At some point however, while Captain America had been visiting a base, James took the chance to actually meet his 'hero', and when offered a training position on a S.A.S Unit, he took it. Leading him taking fighting lessons from the very same people who also trained the Sentinel of Liberty.
During this training James was considered to be a perfect match in partnering up with Captain America. This all in mostly an attempt to capture the attention of America's you, so they would invest in the building war against the Axis. But it also was to the dirty work. While fighting against the axis. James and Captain America, who James had accidentally stumbled upon one evening when walking in on Steve getting dressed, found out that Steve, his friend from many years ago had gone on to become Captain America, his hero. Which was a bit weird, he had to admit in some part. But eventually he got over it, because it was also so cool.
The two eventually ended up fighting the Nazi's, and doing other heroic things in attempts to protect America and strike down evil. All that *Yawn* hero stuff, you want to know more about, read a Steve Bio. Anyway, eventually while trying to take down Baron Zemo who was trying to destroy and experimental Drone Plane, James had tried to stop the explosion and ended up getting blown the fuck up, as you do. With Steve being tossed into a frozen lake and freezing. James had apparently died. Or well, he literally died.
For quite a few years that followed James' death, he had remained frozen in the icy waters that his body landed in after Baron Zemo had blown the plane up. All but his right arm had frozen over in the icy coffin, as it had somehow become severed before the soldier landed in the waters. Upon being discovered by Hydra, James was soon revived but had suffered from severe brain damage and amnesia following his revival. This of course had lead to James no knowing who he was for many years to follow. During his time with Hydra they had used him to assassinate other political or enemies in general of their interest.
That was until one mission led to James kidnapping Sharon Carter, many years after James' death and revival. Afterward the young woman brought it up to Steve and several others, which prompted Steve to look into it himself and finding out that it was indeed his former best friend. Which would lead to Steve trying to protect and save James, and several attempts to try and bring the other man back to his senses, or as the case was, remember who he was before all of these tragic events happened to him. However, in Steve's attempt to reclaim his friend he had managed to do a bit more damage. Which results in the Cosmic Cube that James had on hand, being shattered.
In the years to follow James had tried in mostly success, at being the hero he had always dreamed himself of being in his childhood. At first he had to do this from within the shadows as the people had still not trusted him. Nick Fury had given him his missions and the chance to redeem himself, however. But these circumstances did not last long when it appeared that Steve had been assassinated, one day while going to trial for having instigated the Civil War over some accords, against the US Government and such else in the like. James had witnessed Steve's assassination and quickly, with the help of others he had befriend that were also Steve's friends, taken revenge on the person responsible, Crossbones, and Sharon?
However, it came to be found that Steve was not necessarily dead, just stuck in a time loop and Sharon was being manipulated and then framed for the assassination on Steve. Whose body had been taken over by Red Skull. James at this time was portraying himself as Captain America and was sent to fight off the Possessed Steve, who had by then started a Hydra Empire in the United States. During this fight James had sustained quite a lot of damage in order to give Steve enough time to fight of Red Skull. After this James decided to then go after sleeper agents for a while until Natasha got her own memories wiped by the last remaining of them, which ended fairly well for James in the end, not so much Natasha herself.
James continues on about whatever doing his Winter Soldier thing, going to prison, breaking himself out, with the help of Natasha, before she got he brain wiped of all memories of him that is. Things are good? Well as good as they can be for a short while. That would be until Kobiks arrived on the scene and started doing whatever it is she enjoys doing. She's made out of the shards of Cosmic Cube, by the way. Steve, who keeps retiring, not retiring and now is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D since Nick killed a Watcher and James confronted him before Nick eventually peaces the fuck out to REPLACE the Watcher he killed, and left James to take Nick's place as "The Man on the Wall". Anyway. So Kobiks revitalized Steve, making him YOUNG, again, because Steve keeps getting older and James is has Infinity Formula in his vains from having died prior, again.
Moving on, James and Steve and everyone of their besties fight Kobiks new band mates who I guess then becomes protectors of Earth. But who cares about that. What's important to note here is that Helmut Zemo, son of Baron Zemo, he's mad, okay. He tries to kill James with the same plan his father tried to do before, intentionally this time, blow up a fucking plane. This family is absolutely, #Original. However, the plan fails, much worse this time, for Helmut because James manages to escape with his life from the explosion and takes out Zemo for daring to even try to front him. With having survived all of the attempts on his life, and mortal wounding up until now, and being abel to stab God Steve with a shard of the Cosmic Cube, since God Steve is all " Let me be a fucking asshole."
Afterward, all is returned to peace and Steve is back to not being a fucking asshole again, as well, they save Kobics by once again reforming the Cosmic Cube. But wait, there's more. James and Hawkeye soon team up to go on wild and crazy adventures together. Also, Thanos comes along and dusts most of everyone and Steve brings them all back, with the help of whatever Heros managed to not get dusted. It's a happy ending for all involved, except for Thanos,...and ...his army. But who cares about anyone of them? I am sure they'll be back, right?! James now lives a moderately 'peaceful life', continuing his teamwork along side Hawkeye and occasionally teaming up with other heroes on the fly every so often, as he would see fit. ....But I don't know, how would you guys feel about this being an evil run? Hehehe.

What reason does Lena have to suddenly be 'evil'?
I'm still seeing lot of
"Lena can't turn evil!"
"Will Lena turn evil?"
"Is Lena evil now?'
The thing is, Lena hasn't displayed any intention of turning to the dark side at any point since she first showed up. But the main point is Lena doesnt have a legitimate reason to 'turn' evil. The only beef she has (if she chooses to see it that way) is her friends have lied to her. That is in no way a reason to turn evil.
Lena "my friends who I've spent 3 years building up relationships with and saving the lives of while they simultaneously save my life lied to me! Henseforth I'm going to destroy National City, the city I have protected and paid to rebuild! Alongside this I'm going to destroy Supergirl and all her friends, National Cities protectors, leaving just me to deal with any issues that come up!! Mwhahaha!'
Yeah.... See how incredibly stupid that sounds? Lena has every reason to be pissed off with Kara and everyone, they have lied to her, left it far to long to tell her the truth, told others (Nia) the truth long before even considering telling Lena. Kara has also used her via her alter ego, and did use Lena's boyfriend against her. Lena may have let that go with Supergirl but her bond with Supergirl was never like her bond with Kara. Learning it was your best friend who didn't trust you and honestly thought you were out to get them, spoke down to you, thought they had the right to order you around and then used the relationships you allowed yourself to build in your vulnerable state against you does in fact warrant being genuinely pissed off.
But pissed off doesn't = evil.
Lena has don't nothing but try to and successfully protect the people and Aliens of National City, kept James' dumb ass out of prison, denounced the COL, sent her own mother to prison after she threatened to kill all aliens, came up with a way to get rid of the Daxamites (with Winn), helped defeat the World Killers, kept Supergirl alive more than once. She's also helped to rebuild National City after the Daxamite invasion, agreed to marry her best friends boyfriend and essentially be used to create a baby all so that a hospital full of kids wouldn't be killed.
She saved the free press from Morgan Edge after Kara, who had stupidly decided that she could no longer be the person she is, and her relationships with her family and friends were null and void because her boyfriend of a few months she had a turbulent realationship with wasn't around to define her anymore (setting feminism back several decades) decided to actually acknowledge Lena's existence purely because she needed her for something, then in the same scene ignored the fact her best friend missed her.
So yeah... Lena has been treated pretty appallingly at times by Kara and by James. James ignored her authority as his boss, rejected her when she told him she loved him. He was also ungrateful she had saved his ass from jail. BUT did Lena seek revenge? No she didn't, because she isn't like that. The only people Lena has shown any anomisity to are the actual bad guys, Lex, Lillian, Edge, Lockwood etc.
So yeah Lena has every reason to be pissed off with her friends, she may decide to not talk to them anymore, or she may decide to keep quiet so she can keep herself in the know and will know when she's being lied to, that's all if Kara doesn't come clean first (highly unlikely). Lena has reason to believe she has been being 'supervised' this whole time. Her emotions will be everywhere, all those little boxes opened, all the good times she's had with Kara or Alex or even James now fighting with the idea no one really cared to begin with and were just watching her.
But in conclusion, Lena has no legitimate reason to become a villian. Lena has no reason to suddenly hate National City, no reason to suddenly hate all aliens and to be honest no reason to hate Kara enough to want to destroy her.
Pissed off and feeling betrayed and hurt does not equal 'evil'.
Most villains who attack usually have a reason, vengeance (Lena doesn't have a reason for this), world domination (Lena has shown no interest in this, she's already in a powerful position), or insanity and we all know Lena isnt crazy.
So Lena suddenly becoming hell bent on revenge and becoming evil makes no sense whatsover. You can't even use the excuse that Lex taunted her, because Lena has shown she isnt like Lex and is smart enough to know he was trying to get a rise out of her.
Heck even Lillian AND Lex were smart enough to point out that Lena isn't like them.
Making her bad just eradicates everything Lena has said or done since she first appeared.
I wish people would give this more thought than 'oh Lena's upset and her last name is Luthor, will she be evil now?!' where is your reason?!

A Few Thoughts on Who Killed Markiplier
It is safe to say the WKM project has taken the fanbase by storm, and can be written in the books as a grand success. The hard work, and dedication, of the Teamiplier crew shines brilliantly from start to finish. Indeed, I found myself bouncing theories off of closest friends (who had not even heard of Markiplier until this point), and even dreamed up possible solutions to the amazingly written whodunit. Never in my wildest dreams, however, could I have come up with a conclusion so heart wrenching and astounding as the one gifted to us in Chapter Four.
Yet I have witnessed an amazing transformation within the community. A love has been born that transcends the normal infatuation of a celebrity, and it is beautiful. What is it about this project that seems to have tipped the Markiplier community onto its emotional side?
Two two-dimensional characters that began as a joke, as an interesting concept, as meaningless characters, suddenly became very three-dimensional. They became very real, very relatable, more plausible… and terrifyingly enough, more human. The community has been forced to reexamine the world around them.
Wilford Warstache, a sociopathic killer with no regard for consequences, or for human life. He takes an almost flippant response to death, and feels no remorse for the people he kills. He claims it is not his fault when people die, that he was only doing what people ask him to do. Yet through WKM, we see a new perspective.
Though not entirely sane, we see a man who loves life and adventure. He is compassionate, though it is hard to tell at times. He’s made many mistakes, including an affair, but only begins to hate Mark after he felt he’d been betrayed. Even then, Damien describes his disregard for Mark’s death as a form of “shock”, indication he is familiar with the Colonel shutting down like this in response to tragedy. Speaking of which, if he is a Colonel, we can assume he is military. Chances are he has also been to war. This would explain his tendency to shut down in the face of death, as there is no telling how many brothers and sisters in arms he’s seen lay dying. War is hell, after all. He is a soldier, so he understands loyalty and trust better than anyone. His moves are calculated and filled with cunning. It would also explain his tendency to slip in and out of a room without anyone noticing. Military training. It’s also one of the reasons he is such a successful hunter. Clearly, however, he loves Damien, and he loves Celine, and he’s very loyal to them. Upon their death, and realizing that he’s also killed us, he loses the military stance. He loses his tightly wound composure, and we are left with…
…A man who is so lost, so confused, so scared that he clutches tightly to the cane of his friend. Until we return, he is completely alone. Everyone else has abandoned him, or has died. His guilt is crippling him, his sanity is cracking right before our eyes as he slowly descends into madness. This is a man who has been surrounded by tragedy his entire life. When we wake up, he is relieved. Somehow we managed to come back from death, which means the others must have as well. This is all a joke, a prank, because the idea of his friends playing such a cruel joke on him is easier to comprehend than their death. His mind, after repeated trauma, is reduced to that of a broken child who is screaming and crying for answers he’ll never get. His sanity is shattered, and he’s driven mad. No doubt he is reliving all the terrible deaths he’s witnessed, and trapped in this hell, Wilford Warfstache is born. He is the broken soldier.
And then there’s this man:
This character was, initially, a joke within the community. When he first manifested, the community wrote him off as being an evil, power hungry, and manipulative man who only wanted to take control. He was jealous of mark’s fame, and wanted to use the love of his fans against him. Yet…
We learn in WKM that Damien is actually the most kind hearted person in the entire group. He feels Mark’s death deeply, but even in the face of his own sorrow, he delivers the news of Mark’s death to William himself. When William does not respond in a way Damien believes he should, he becomes angry. This is not anger borne of hatred, but borne of disappointment in his friend, and his own sadness and pain. He cares. He cares almost too much, as the events seem to constantly be tearing him apart. He carries the cane with him, and is seen constantly wringing it in his hands when he gets nervous, uncomfortable, or emotional. Not wanting to appear weak, he isolates himself, yet returns when something new occurs to make sure everyone is safe. As angry as he is at William, he checks up on him and keeps tabs on him to make sure he’s okay. He tries to protect Celine, even at the cost of his own life.
And what a loss of life that was. Betrayed by a man he’s known since childhood, cast aside into a broken shell and forgotten…
No…. This is not a man fueled by jealousy. This is not a man keen on stealing the attention away from Mark for his own selfish needs. This is a man who loved too much, cared too deeply, and now sports a shattered heart. We see him shift from kind, compassionate Damien to the man we now know as Darkiplier, and we see the raw emotions in his eyes.
He. Still. Cares.
He is still the protector. He is still the leader. He still loves, and cares, but he does not trust.
Perhaps this is why he acts the way he does, to keep people away from Mark to make sure no one meets a similar fate as those who loved Mark in the past.
The very last scene we are left staring into a broken mirror. It is shattered, the image distorted, the world still discolored. Even with Damien, now Dark, gone, the world has not shifted back to normal. We are left to reflect on our fate. Our world.
Our new hell.
Our own humanity.
We relate to these characters so much because we understand them. We have experienced loss. We’ve experienced betrayal. We understand their pain. We feel for them so deeply because we understand their loss, and their feelings of being lost. Perhaps we even understand the feeling of sanity slipping through our fingertips, or the dark and enticing pull of revenge.
We watched them descend into madness, and realized how possible it is for us all to do the same. Anyone can. It forces us to question…. Those people that society has labeled “evil”, what did they experience to get them to that point? Did they love too much, and had their hearts broken? Were they cast aside, their shell’s broken, and forgotten? Those that society has marked insane who go on to commit terrible crimes, what traumas pushed them to that point? Were they sane before, and simply snapped?
We see the world differently now, our perspectives forever altered. Truthfully, I found the entire experience exciting, and humbling. I believe this is why the Who Killed Markiplier project struck a chord so deeply in all of us.
@markiplier thank you for bringing this into our lives.
