The thing about how revolutionary trans-coded Sho Minamimoto feels is that this is a character that is undergoing an unsettling, upsetting, life-changing metamorphosis, who wants people to look at him. He literally claws his way out of the grave and the first thing he does is demand compliments. "This is my newest masterpiece. I call it: Myself!" The lyrics to his boss theme are all about commanding the listener to witness him and every change he's going through. "You, keep your eyes on this corruption / Come on, yes, you should watch this transformation" He's rearranging his organs and screaming at people to pay attention to it.

In trying to find trans narratives, often times it's easy to point to characters that are reserved and body shy. Heck, twewy itself has several characters that are trans-coded because they quietly shift their appearance and don't like talking about their physical selves. Because that's what trans people often feel like they have to do. We're expected to quietly go offscreen and change ourselves and come back a different person.

Minamimoto refuses to do that. He takes great joy in making people behold him. He feels great pride in the body he's crafted for himself, even while he's in the middle of building it. He demands attention, even as he's in a state of change. And, importantly, he never feels one iota of shame about it.
