honestly yesod has grown on me IMMENSELY since i first ran through the game. its hard to explain but Thats Yesod My Friend Yesod. If Anyones Mean To Him Im Attacking With Teeth. hes like a small animals, to me. one that will probably nip at you but you love him anyway.

it took me a few runs through to finally click about his storyline in lc but MAN. Man...... i do adore the way that they weaved together his thought processes with prior events (specifically how malkuth's meltdown happens directly before his, much the same as elijah's death directly precedes gabriel's spiral.)

its also the simplicity of it, for lack of a better term. it was a quiet line of development from That to his own breakdown, but its also a very Clear one. it matches up perfectly with the narration of "we didn't immediately see the effects, but it must've been that he was always suffering because of it." like yeah, that Would be hard to notice if you didnt pry; yet that rotting Does in fact run deep. its choice of word and presentation was frankly perfect for what it was. it Feels as it Was. its a hard line to nail.

in all though, his character is just very satisfying to watch. seeing past simply "Hes The Mean Strict One" provides an extra element to pretty much Everything he does, and it makes him very very easy to sympathize with. the progression from lc to ruina honestly feels very natural in that way; and hes another one thats very nice to watch make the transition-- because it really does tie his entire presentation together.

it doesnt hold back on his anger towards the situation, nor is it the entirety of how he feels about it. critical, yes, but not to the point of stubbornness; to the point of disregarding everything else. it makes me happy to see him handle things the way he does. he changes, yes, but he still holds true to what makes him who he is; and i couldnt be happier about it.
