Okay, I need to talk about this page, because I saw some people saying that Bruce was being manipulative here, and I disagree. Or, at least, it's not a conscious choice. Here is why:

Bruce is in denial about Cass having ever kill someone. His reasoning to refuse the truth is that David Cain is a liar. He saw the video of the murder and also interrogated David Cain, he told himself David modified the video and is lying to him. If David Cain isn't a liar and can say the truth at times, then Cass has killed once.

Bruce is possessive of Cass. He wants her to be his daughter so bad and he is afraid she will leave him. Barbara even calls him out. When he faces David Cain in those comics, it's always personal. It's not about the crimes committed, it's a physical custody battle. He needs David Cain to be a manipulative asshole who doesn't care about Cass, he needs him to not be her biological father but just a buyer on the black market, so Cass has more reasons to stay with Bruce. He is, once again, in denial, because he knows David cares about Cass, as he begged Batman to let him keep videos of Cass. Bruce is in denial because, if Cass already has a pathetic father that loves her, she doesn't need him. (Just like Steph doesn't need him because she already has a pathetic father)

Cass doesn't believe him at all. She also doesn't see it as manipulation, but more as "Batman doesn't know what he is talking about". She doesn't think he is lying to her. And she read people like open books, in contrary to real books. If it's manipulation, it's the worst manipulation on Earth.

their actions definitely had an effect on rody. he'd say positive, but that's little more than a subconscious lie.

he sided with his mother mostly, that was just how you're supposed to love? if you weren't giving your all, then what were you giving at all? that's just how love is supposed to be.

but, he had a hard time making friends despite this. his "love" was as suffocating as it was self-destructive, giving his all took a lot, unfortunately.

he had neglectful parents and that's 99% of his problems.

his mother and father were already divorced so its not like they really wanted much to do with the product of their bad decisions anyway.

but alas, he was already there. and there was nothing more they could do about it than ignore him.

an introverted kid, he couldn't care less. a blossoming rebellious teenager, and no one to rebel against, he had free reign to do anything he liked. he picks up some bad habits.

however, his parents weren't necessarily bad. they paid for his university and made some effort to be closer to him once the bistro started.

he framed a photo of them near the beginning of the bistro, almost hopeful for a new start. they stopped calling, though, done with their charade, and it leaves vincent bitter till this day. rather than throw it out, he leaves the picture dusty, symbol of his resentment.

his parent's behavior stunted his social development. he had many instances where his peers were deathly afraid of him or would subtly bully him just to get a rise out of him, to no avail.

he only really made casual friends in culinary school. they were intelligent, from prestigious families, and not so emotionally involved where it would have to make vincent reciprocate. surface level and safe.

he lost his sense of taste back when he was a kid, barely old enough to remember it.

he was left alone in his father's mansion, wandering aimlessly. and... well... he tries to block it out at times, remembering the aching of his head as he slowly bled out. the head trauma was precise, so precise that it only took out his sense of taste.

his parents said he was lucky to still have his intellect, to still have his life. he thought he was lucky too. how naive.

Allow me to explain, and I guess spill my organs just a bit- just a WEE bit! So, given only two people on this forsaken website actually know about my personal life and was there to watch it happen I have a bit of explaining to do- so, where do I start... Hm, how's about middle school! Middle school, ah, how lovely- cutting out how much I was relentlessly bullied middle school was my first exposure to this kind of unhealthy relationship that I've unfortunately grown so accustomed to. Long story short I was forced into a relationship, got extremely emotionally attached only to be abandoned and have the things I love most stolen- then people spread rumors about me and blah blah blah I was bullied in middle school and people did not stop that's the short of it!

But then it kept happening.

Each relationship was progressively worse I, being the dumbass I am, only grew more and more dependant on these people who would hurt me, desprate for the approval of people who looked down at me with nothing but hate in their eyes. Starting to see a similarity? Anyways skip to freshman year! 

Highschool! How bad could it be?? Not worse then middle school that's for sure! And believe it or not- I think I'm that loser who peaks in highschool-BUT the reason I bring this up is because of my most recent experience with an abusive relationship I could not get out of.

At the time I was 14, Michael was 17- he guilt tripped me into dating him, used me for what he wanted and smothered me with 'love' if you could even call it that and at some point in this endless loop of hell he turned 18 while I was still 14- a lot more happened in that relationship but the important part is that this is when I hit an all time low and I didn't mention this but I have always been big on cannibalism metophors- and this is around when those cannibalism metophors stopped being uhhh, metophors let's say! 

Yeah things got real bad but I managed to crawl away mostly unharmed-

And I know because that was genuinely a lot for HORRIBLE shit to read I'll give everyone a bit of fluff in my life, I'm doin fine and I'm in a very happy polyam relationship !! I love my boyfriends very much!

Back to the horrible shit!

This kinda manic desperation got really bad after I got away from Michael, my brain immediately opting to viewing my current boyfriend, Oco as a savior of sorts- given hes known me since middle school, got me out of the abusive relationship with Michael and kinda is the only reason I haven't DIED yet- holding him up on this mental pedistal where no matter what he did he would always be perfect and amazing and I would do anything anything anything for him!! 

Yeah, that... That kinda fucked me up- I mean, go figure-

GOD this isn't even scratching the surface of the shit I've been through that contributes to why I relate to Capochin so much!! SOME GUY on a mental pedistal for god knows how long- I could genuinely just go on and on and on about it!! But honestly I don't think anyone would really be interested in listening to me info dump about my life more then I already have- we're here for the CAPOCHIN!!! And honestly- I don't really know what to say- I mean I feel like this all kinda speaks for itself, y'know? so, let's talk about elijah cohen for a minute. i'm going to put it under a cut because it involves a parent being mentally and emotionally abusive and manipulative. please don't read if this sort of thing is triggering to you.

elijah cohen is, first and foremost, a bitter man. he had once dreamed of entering the army and becoming a distinguished career officer, but those dreams were destroyed when a freak accident permanently messed up his leg and left him with a limp. after this, he became absolutely obsessed with order and outward appearances. he ran a tight ship in his home. everything was neatly budgeted out and each child was carefully planned. he had a certain image in mind for each of them and both ricky and cindy fell into those roles easily, each perfect in his eyes. mark, however, was much like his grandparents ( elijah's parents ): gentle, empathetic, emotional, creative. mark saw the world in a way that elijah didn't understand and, as such, elijah tried to force mark to comply to his vision by constantly critiquing every little thing he did to the point where mark was a nervous wreck around elijah.

when none of that worked, elijah just gave up on him. refused to support him. told him to stop being a dumbass and focus on a "real" career. it all came to a head when mark dropped out of brown university at 20 years old. elijah essentially disowned and fully gave his son up for lost. in eljiah's eyes, mark was the ultimate failure. he doesn't know where he "went wrong" with him.

despite this gif set being about a daughter talking about her father, this could very well be mark talking about elijah. during their last confrontation, elijah very much said something along the lines, "i fed, clothed, and put up with you for eighteen years. i paid for you to go to college. i paid for everything so that you wouldn't have to work and so you could focus on your schooling. this is how you repay me? you're not my son. you're a failure and a disappointment."

mark does not talk about his father because of the sheer amount of pain that it causes him. he worked so hard his entire life to do something to get his father's approval and failed at every turn. he's also incredibly angry because of the amount of physical and verbal abuse elijah put him through. he knows that he should hate his father, but he can't quite bring himself to do so.

elijah was also incredibly homophobic and is the root cause for mark suffering from compulsive heterosexuality and denying his true self for years, but that's another topic to delve into for another day.

He was always jealous of Lestat and rode Lestat's coattails, thinking he was spitting in the face of his father, and when his scheming failed? The resentment and jealousy and bitterness grew to a fever pitch, and he went totally over the edge in his rage when he threw Lestat's trauma back in his face, mocked him for it, and emotionally manipulated Lestat into turning him. He would angrily berate Lestat for not knowing how to read. He would threaten to hit Lestat. He would throw his manipulative woe-is-me pity parties after being a total asshole to Lestat and upsetting him. Lestat had to walk on eggshells around him for fear of making him mad. Nicki was the selfish bastard who NEVER loved Lestat and always wanted him to go down. All of that is literally spelled out within the book canon and again, it is not our fault people cannot understand that and instead want to cherry-pick shit out of context and rewrite the relationship (and Nicki) into something they absolutely were not. Nicki was a narrative device to explain why Lestat was so damaged and believed he was garbage who only hurts the ones he loves. Nicki was meant to explain why Lestat hid his heart from Louis. It was not some wholesome love story that tragically ended because one of them was "mEnTaLLy iLL." No, it was always doomed to fail exactly because the alleged "mEnTaLLy iLL" partner was always conspiring for it to fail.

And frankly, let's just call this what it is. Certain ones are pissed about Louis. That is literally it, and that's why being told you're delusional, racist idiots makes you so angry, because it's true. FYI, the old fandom did not have this problem of pitting Nicki against Louis, because they all had enough common sense to realize what Nicki was and what purpose he served within the text, and they weren't delusional enough to push actual "mIsiNForMaTiOn" about the relationship like certain ones are now doing.

off season is for AUs so here's a bit more about that Rick and Beth au that I never shut up about ok so:

• Rick's crybaby backstory plays out roughly the same except only Diane dies before she goes and gets Beth from inside the house (sorry gorgeous, gotta use you for plot development once again 😔)

• Rick does roughly all the same shit he did before except as a single dad

• Rick Meets BP, Squanchy, Geardude (by extension Gearhead but like 😒) and joins the freedom fight against the galactic federation

• Doesn't really know how to be a single dad, emotionally reserved (except for when drunk) and kinda scared of raising Beth like this so he sends her away to an alien boarding school when she's like 9/10

• Beth gets kicked out of that alien boarding school when she's 14 for fighting (technically she killed a kid but I digress) gets sent back home to live with her dad and the freedom fighters

• Rick is like ???!?!?!? but BP says it's fine and it's probably better if they homeschool her anyway (plus he knows how much they missed each other but they won't say it because they are both stubborn and emotionally closed off and Beth isn't a little girl anymore so Rick doesn't really openly show her as much affection as before despite them both desperately needing it)

• It's been like 4/5 years since they have seen each other and Rick has cool, chill rockstar energy and Beth is a tougg mean girl and their reunion is awkward.

• Rick trains Beth to fight like the freedom fighters but never actually let's her go to any meetings or to a battle. He keeps her confined in her room with an AI watching her and sometimes the freedom fighters are gone for months (sometimes in battle, sometimes just drinking and hanging around exploring the galaxy) but Beth is forced to stay at the base and grows resentful and determined to prove herself to her father

• Beth is finally allowed to be a part of the freedom fighters around 17/18 ??? She's obsessed with it and her bloodlust is greater than anyone else's (Squanchy thinks it's really cool, BP worries about Rick's parenting, Rick thinks it's a little weird but fine)

• Beth insists on calling them the "defiance", Rick thinks naming things is dumb and refuses to ever call them that. They co-lead meeting sometimes (and by co-lead I mean Beth comes up with all the plans while Rick is drunk)

• Beth cares so much about fighting the federation because she thinks that it's important and their "higher calling" and kinda hates how Rick doesn't seem to take it as seriously, gets drunk, parties, seems aloof about it

• Beth and Rick's relationship is complicated because she still kinda suffers from abandonment issues from him leaving her in a boarding school and then for months/years at a time during her adolescence but she also fiercely respects and admires him to a degree while also being sick of him and his drinking and fake "uncaring attitude" but they do love each other and would defend each other no matter what, despite the fact that they also fight all the time and manipulate one another

• Oh!! And Beth is super aware of Rick's crush on BP and is just like "Tell him how you feel dumbass!! 😡" but Rick is like "Shut up, you're acting real silly rn hush" and then covers her mouth while BP talks about his new soul bond that seems to be getting serious and Rick just nods and then gets drunk and cries in his room (Rick DOES NOT confess his true feelings to BP after Blood Ridge because he has Beth to think about, despite sending her away to boarding school, so he doesn't ask BP to run away with him and just drinks his feelings down at a bar when they are all celebrating the victory)

Thoughts on Richard vs johan? I've seen your dumbass sister try to express that there were two killers on that roof that night and twist the reality that what Johan said about Richard wasn't wrong but his act in using it to manipulate Richard into suicide was the wrong part. But besides that Johan's accusations were not in the wrong. Richard is not a killer like Johan, Richard is not evil like Johan. Richard killed a serial rapist and murderer to protect more victims from being formed. Your sister as a woman should sympathize with that but women don't make sense half the time so it doesn't surprise me that she has tried to make it a point to argue that Richard wasn't just a victim in that foul play but also a criminal in his own right. While at the end of the day, the acts the criminal performed were irrefutable, but the reasons for his actions remains to be understood and that could've helped rehabilitate him to change for the better. That "rapist" was just as much a victim as everyone else of Kinderheim, Monster constantly substantiates that all the survivors of Kinderheim and Bonapartas experiments, in which if you look further enough, even Johan was a victim. Now I am not trying to say that Richard was completely wrong and saying Richards death was justified, but at the end of the day in the law, Richard was completely wrong for what he has done. You fall under the philosophy of Utilitarianism, where as long as one is killed to save the many, then it is the morally correct choice. Rationalizing an action emotionally vs. rationalizing an action objectively is what I strive to do here. To understand the human mind, I will never look at things subjectively and I will never allow my own personal sense of morals and ethics to influence me in that endeavor. In order to understand the hearts sunken into the abyss, we must be willing to free ourselves of our own moralities and sink into it ourselves, whether you are satisfied with the answer you may find is up to you. Your unwillingness to understand the hearts of Monsters is what will further breed more Monsters, and you definitely did not take anything away from what Naoki Urasawa was attempting to portray with the story, you should watch it again under a new perspective.

I love Cas SO MUCH and he really is stupid sometimes. I'd like to add that time Dean begged Cas to bring him along as a wingman, for backup, instead of going to a meeting alone and Cas blew him off and then got himself CAPTURED and he was thrown in a cell while the bad guy posed as Fake Cas on the phone so Dean wouldn't come looking for him. How Dean had barely gotten Cas back for 5 minutes before Cas was racing off, because of Jack, and not listening to Dean.

And not because Cas doesn't love Dean or he's manipulative or brainwashed he's a very complicated emotionally mixed up character who still has a lot to learn. His evolution as a character, his emotional evolution, over 12 seasons is extraordinary and beautiful, and yet he is also a dumbass, with insecurities and traumas that make him very stupid *affectionate* and that is canon that is the way it is with Cas. We should be roasting him. He deserves roasting, but not in the way where we cancel him and hate him and don't treat him like a complex character worthy of love like Dean or Sam, but in the way that pretending Cas is some uwu perfect baby angel who is the victim instead of a whole MESS really does flatten the character and does him such a disservice. I am here to yell about how great Cas is and about his flaws and he loves Dean and Dean loves Cas and they're both idiots in completely different ways. But in this house we don't skip over Cas's flaws and go with lopsided destiel. The reason the ship has such a hold on me is how both characters are so compelling and messy and so good but so perfect.

Cas with PTSD having a fixation on bees and gardens and making the perfect sandwich in late S7 somehow got absorbed into fanon to the point where people started to believe that’s canonical Cas. Bees Cas is a confused little meow meow who never did anything wrong. The things late S7 Cas fixates on are an amplification of his genuine fascination with life on earth, and one aspect of Cas is gentleness and appreciation, but those traits are not the whole picture, it’s what his brain uses as a buffer as he goes into shock and has a lengthy PTSD episode. PTSD Cas isn’t empathetic, he’s detached. He’s non-confrontational, non-violent, in that sense he is kind, but he’s not mentally or emotionally present for the people who need him most, who love him and who care, which isn’t empathy.

The arc gets used to mix fanon with canon, and the fanon version seeks a Cas who is an innocent meow meow who never did anything wrong ever (canon doesn’t do this. fanon does). Far too often that’s used to perpetuate the negative fanon of mean Dean, where Cas is his victim. The more innocent and soft and idealized the fanon on Cas becomes—and people believing that’s canon—the more that got weaponized to label Dean “the abuser” who is mean to ultra soft Cas who just wants to watch the bees.

Cas’s mental breakdown put him into a numb bubble, and that is the opposite of who Cas is. Cas feels too much all the time, and lacks context and experience to help him process all the feelings. Over time, we see him grow more comfortable in his own skin and with those emotions and expressing them in ways humans can comprehend instead of Cas just feeling and FEELING and trying to keep it locked down or running away from it.

Man, I wish Kishimoto didn't just drop the Hyuuga plot like he did after the Chunin exams. The way he ended it with Hiashi apologizing to Neji and then Neji just being friendly with Hinata/happier with his clan is so... empty to me.

I've seen posts pointing out the absurdity of Hizashi's death being painted as "for himself/freedom" and was his choice when the dude was most definitely going to die for the Main family anyway. Like, he just decided that his death for them wasn't going to be the hard way. He just accepted it.

Someone said Hiashi was emotionally manipulating Neji with his apology and I agree.

And then, as you and so many others pointed out, there's still slavery, curse marks and no equality within the Hyuuga clan. Neji just gets faux equality and that's it. That's the "beautiful change" of the Hyuuga clan. Neji isn't treated like a dog, trains with his uncle, doesn't wanna merk Hinata anymore, and then leaps to his death for her, a Main house member. Wow.

In my opinion, that apology, the dumbass fight with Naruto and training with Hiashi shouldn't have been enough to change Neji's outlook. Kind of sounds like the easy way out to simply make him another Konoha dog. He's just content with his shitty life afterwards and I hate it.

Neji is certainly smart enough to look at the context of his dad's death and go "....but he still died for Hiashi. A Main family member like his fate intended." And it's not that I wanted Neji to forever be pissed off with his life, I just wanted better for him and the other Branch members. But instead, he has the same life but just a wee bit better and he looks at it happily. WHY.

And as much as I hate Hinata's privileged, selfish ass, Neji didn't need to continue channeling all his rage towards the Main family onto her. Not for Hinata's benefit but because I'm not biased and know that she literally couldn't do anything at their young age about the slavery.

Furthermore, Neji told her to forfeit multiple times and she refused each time -his monologue about her weakness wasn't untruthful and it isn't something he hadn't heard before (the Hyuga clan's dogma literally educated him to believe that something as destiny exists, since because Hizashi was born after Hiashi, he was bound to obey him or get punished for his disobedience, as was his son). So how come is cruel of Neji to say those things when he believes them to be true because it's what happened to his father and to him? He can't force his own destiny because he'll never be allowed to disobey Hiashi -or Hinata.

He lashes out towards her because she's the only one there and who is in the same context as him. He wouldn't be able to touch Hiashi even if he wanted to (which he does, he also hates Hiashi), because not only Hiashi is the current leader, but he's also an experienced Jönin. And let's not forget that he was marked on her birthday -meaning, he's her slave.

So maybe Neji hating her again would've been alright cause I sure would've. He's still a fucking slave like so many others and she's not advocating for any change, she's just obsessing over a guy who barely remembers she exists and then has the nerve to call Neji "nii-san".

But again, why would she advocate for a change when she's not interested in such a thing happening? Nothing interests her outside her love for Naruto and her need to get acknowledged by him. Him playing Go Hu Dong was amazing as well and I didn't recognize him at all at first like he played it so well with the accent, costume and wig and everything

His accent and language switch in between English and the Busan accent Korean was so fucking sexy🥵

Another one that annoyed me angered me so much🙄

Like she was ruthless and had no mercy when it came to bullying and putting people down that she thought were a rival or putting people down in general

She didn't change even when Rona died

She also went as far as to like cheat her way to win the Cheong Ah Art High School trophy and blackmailed Cheon Seojin to win the trophy

But there were times where she would show emotions and those would be often her break down and weak moments

And those moments would really show how she is broken inside and puts up a careless and brave image, she is someone who needs healing even though healing takes time

I also saw someone saying like 'oh Seok Kyung hates her mom so much'

Yeah she hated her mom but she didn't hate her to death like she didn't wish death upon her

Seok Kyung was heart broken when she heard Suryeon's death and that showed that she still loved her mom even though Suryeon didn't give birth to them

I was heart broken when I saw that she cut her hair because here was no one there to tie it for her bc Suryeon loved Seok Kyungs long hair and that's why she didn't cut it but after he mothers death no one was there to tie her hair for her

I started seeing her in a different light after a while bc again it showed that he character was very broken emotionally and needed healing

I'm interested about seeing more of her character development after the last ep where she defended Rona

Also my girl is so hot, another one that was serving amazing looks

I mean Seok Hoon hate Joo Dan Tae so he doesn't counts and Suryeon was dead at the moment

I will still not forgive him for bullying Seol A even though he regrets it

It also annoyed me how he didn't stood up for Rona at all in the first season even though he liked her

By he got so much better in S2, he was even part in the revenge plan

He is literally the human CCTV camera in Hera Palace like he knows more than even the viewers know

The way he was protective of Rona when he found out she was alive was so aDORABLE

And my man was amazing in the last episodes

But sometimes I wanna hug her😩

Idk I feel like she became a horrible person bc of greed and that he father and mother placed too high expectations for her

Instead of praising her for her accomplishments her parents wanted her to do more

Maybe that's why she was desperate for love and affection and found that in Joo Dan Tae even though he pretended to like her

But that definitely does not dismiss her horrible actions

But also the harsh past made her the could hearted person, like she left her father to die

She felt more care towards her daughter after she almost lost her because Eunbyeol tried to commit suicide

She was in alot of pain and you could see it in her cries and when she was on the phone with the person

Soyeon's acting was amazing in that scene

She started to care more about her ex husband and daughter when she saw how much Eunbyeol was suffering and she realized that she genuinely liked Ha Yoon Chul hwen she saw how horrible Joo Dan Tae was

I did feel bad for her sometimes but after seeing that she didn't change I really didn't feel any sympathy for her

She needs therapy

Girlie was shocked when the doctor said she is losing her voice like bestie you are screaming every episode

She was also serving amazing looks every episode

Like I am not going to deny it but he is hot🥵

But the first few episodes he was an absolute asshole and greedy

His entrance in S2 with the helicopter was damn hot

And I WAS SO SHOCKED WHEN HE SAID MEET MY WIFE OH YOON HE

OMG, I don't even know what to say anymore. My guess of gyu falsely framing taehyun was right but he killed his dad and brother. I never actually thought he would do that. I wanna go over each character separately for this chapter. Starting with,

Taehyun: GOD he's so frustrating. I thought dealing with gyu was hard but tyun is just something else. The whole wedding scene gave a second hand embarrassment. Because wtf, and when the the dead mom's wedding dress part came I was like,omg can it get any worse?! I was laughing so much through out this whole chapter at Tyun's antics. One moment he's sweet the next makes me want to scratch his beautiful face.

Kai: Honestly out of all the characters he might be my favorite. His character in the last chapter and this is contrasting. Oc might think he's confusing but honestly he's just trying to convince her to go back to gyu. Because for him the moment gyu managed to get his best friend to backstab him he's knows gyu is capable of doing worse. He fears for his brother and anyone in that position would too. I aslo blunt and straight forward he can get.

OC: the worst case scenario of starting a war is not tyun using her against beomgyu its actually her ending up dead. She should just say that to him that if he plans to execute his crazy plan then might as well get ready to lose her forever.

Gyu: He's very smart and sexy too. Love you 💋

Wonyoung: She surely is gyu's sister. Manipulation runs in their blood. But I like her too. Everyone deserves a sister like her(from gyu's pov because I can't say the same from Yeonjun's pov😰) because she's just as crazy as gyu. She's is agreeing to that crazy fucking plan of gyu. Also imagine ger going back to the palace and informing gyu of oc's state how she looks like survived zombie apocalypse,dinosaur extinction,the fucking bigbang.

Yeonjun: my beloved is dead. Considering how many times I've seen him dead in txt mvs it was really nothing out of normal. But that part in eternally mv kept replaying in my mind over and over again.

King: that's what he deserves.

Taehyun: yeah our emotionally stunted lord is a dumbass and when he tries to make things better he ends up either making them worse or executing them in a ridiculous way 😂 but actually what the oc didn't understand, and so it wasn't explained in the chapter, is that tyun gave her his mother's dress because it was the only beautiful and expensive dress he had in his possession. taehyun doesn't keep anything he considers showy or wasteful so he only kept his mother's wedding dress for sentimental value and he wanted oc to feel beautiful on her wedding day but it just ended up backfiring :'D

Kai: ugghhhhh kai's character gave me such a headache because i was worried that the flip might come about too suddenly so i kept trying to build it up but i messed up by having him be too nice to her initially. in my mind it makes sense because he genuinely is a nice kid but he initially didn't even realize that gyu was insane so he was like yay my brother finally likes someone but when he looked up gyu he was like haha we're in danger and so he flipped. his flip will also make more sense in the next part (or next chapter?) when he reveals something. but anyway i'm so glad you get where he's coming from because he gave me such grief writing him 😭

OC: yeah and that's why he hasn't already launched the war and is only threatening it because he's afraid she'll get hurt in the crossfire so he's hoping she'd just come back. but to gyu if he has to give her up or start a war and risk it then he'll start a war because in the latter at least he has a chance of getting her back

Gyu: baby showing them what he's capable of. take that mr warlord

Wonyoung: from yeonjun pov 😂😂😂😂 and maybe gyu already knows that. it's not farfetched to think he has his own spies at the castle. jaeyun wasn't the only one

Yeonjun: very on brand for him to die lmao

this is sooo so long sorry, there's a lot of extraneous information in this ... i marked all of that info in blue if you dont care THAT much I know why people don't like it, and honestly for a variety of reasons. I find that it's either the fan content they hate (I can sympathize with it, I don't really like the baby-fication of hank and turning him into some submissive puppy to extreme levels) or just ... straight up making shit up? Nothing ever truly comes unfounded, but.. man.

I do wanna mention that there is one that has picked at me for a while that people really like and it's that 2bdamned is manipulative towards the others. I cannot say this unfounded, it's difficult to say anyone in Nevada isn't one of the two categories of "Brutish" and "Cunning", both having a lot more negative qualities than positive.

It's incredibly easy to chalk up 2bdamned's closer relationship with Hank to "Manipulation", but I don't feel quite right about that and not just because I like the ship... I really even triple checked before I got so invested in them.

So, the simple lens is 2bdamned's nicer deeds and attitude towards Hank is to ensure their continued partnership doesn't end in 2bdamned being mauled to death in a fuel of rage or simple boredom, so he gives Hank a bunch of fancy toys and a lot of nice words keeping him reliant and well off; Hank would never need anything more and would never want anything less. One problem, Hank is Hank.

Hank is able to ally with anyone as long as it means meeting his goal, him and Christoff ally despite Christoff's extreme hatred for the other and Hank's .. Assumed apathy towards the man. Assuming Hank and 2bdamned's shared goal is defeating the AAHW I'd assume it's safe to say that's a good reason for Hank joining S.Q. That's not really enough though because obviously you'd want to keep a guy like that around after the AAHW's long and gone, right? Basically, he's offered whatever weaponry and backup he wants as long as he works for the company. On top of that, he gets to kill anyone he's not ordered to protect and is sent off for a buffet of murder. It's anything a homocidal maniac could ever want, I think!

But that's not exactly what you want, you want someone complicit who'll do anything you ask. You need someone to follow their orders through... That's the manipulation part. How do you manipulate someone like Hank though? Uncooperative, little compassion for others, naturally murderous. Do you play into his insecurities, but what insecurities even are there? He's glad to be hurting others and doesn't exactly become 'friends' with Sanford or Deimos despite their efforts, so I don't exactly think he cares about connecting with others. Do you give an incentive? Well, obviously he already has one because it's doing his job and getting cool guns, dumbass. Do you guilt trip him? Obviously not, he'd kill you. Maybe praise and buttering him up, but I don't think he's the type to be affected by that either considering he isn't an ego lifter.

Not to mention, I feel any act of kindness can be interpreted as manipulative anyway because there's not really a solid way to prove it. It's also possible I'm misinterpreting it by saying it's not manipulation, but I can't say it's very easy to a emotionally manipulate a guy that almost continually is portrayed with no emotions outside of "Fuck off."
