#I love how the Hulk articulates himself here#he hears Tablot’s monologue about how the Hulk has ruined his life and is able to make the connection between that and his own troubles#and so is able to respond with an explanation of how Talbot and Ross have fulfilled a similar role in his life#which is great for him!#compare to how earlier this issue there’s a pause when the soldiers are too scared to attack the Hulk#and so wait for him to make the first move#and the Hulk says ‘Soldiers confuse Hulk! Instead of shooting they wait! Waiting makes Hulk forget why he is here…’#it was for the very important thing of taking back Jarella’s body so he could try to bring her to her own world#because he was horrified of the thought that her body was just stuck in a lab at Gamma Base#sometimes the Hulk will go on a rant when it’s a situation where he gets angry but knows he can’t physically lash out#like when he’s fighting with a friend#but I think it was important to him to express himself#and possibly in a way Talbot’s rant could have created a supportive structure for the Hulk to respond within#and something briefer and therefore more open-ended could have been harder for the Hulk to properly respond to#marvel#bruce banner#glenn talbot#my posts#comic panels
