yan jing yuan can be so terrifying because he perfectly orchestrates your old life to fall apart so that you must rely on him…and then he coaxes you into a routine and ohhhhh if he knows that all you need is a little discipline and positive reinforcement to be your best—most precious—self? it’s OVER for you!!!!!

FUCK i may have to write this nasty little drabble out and then see how i write the yan before choosing who to insert bc i am of so many minds; and i think maybe writing a more generic scenario first and then tailoring it to a character afterwards may help me write a bit quicker bc i’ll be more focused on the actions and dialogue rather than fretting over characterization…
