thinking about Reverse Robins with Red Hood Steph and Oracle Tim

and his best friend (almost girlfriend) died and it was Batman's Fault. I'm thinking Tim was a Friend Behind The Scenes like he figured out who Damian and Bruce were somehow and also met Steph when she was starting out as spoiler, and maybe he's the one who pushes her into being Robin bc Batman hasn't been the same since Damian left to be Nightwing in Bludhaven. So he feels guilty bc the joker killed her and he's the one who told her to be Robin but Batman is the one who's supposed to look out for Robin in the first place!

And Oracle would've been a name they came up with together and he would help her on cases and give her and Batman information and tip off the police sometimes. So Bruce knew Steph had a friend that helped out but never found a good time to address the possible leak.

And then at Stephanie's funeral one Timothy Drake accosts him. Crying and beating his chest and saying "it's your fault you were supposed to protect her" and Bruce doesn't know how to react because he wasn't aware Tim Drake and Stephanie (Almost Wayne) knew each other. But I think he'd connect the dots even if he doesn't say anything because it's the least he can do after letting Stephanie die.

And Tim who tries his best to avenge his best friend goes after The Joker himself, knowing he can't expect The Batman to kill. Not even for Stephanie. And it almost works but Batman shows up and tries to stop him and the Joker gets away and Tim is impaled by Something (rebar, pipe, crowbar idk) and has to get a splenectomy <3

So he stays in his clock tower where he can make sure everything is sterilized because he is excessively immunocompromized and he takes his meds and he watches from behind his hundreds of screens. Mitigating his symptoms as best he can as he keeps an eye on the new Robin and the whole of Gotham.

Is he pissed there's a new Robin? Yeah ofc. But By God he will not let another Robin die. So he's helping on coms and keeping an eye on things as best he can and Jason is like "B literally who the fuck is this". And Bruce WON'T TELL HIM (because he doesn't know? Unsure) all B will say is that "You can trust Oracle." which is pretty sus even coming from Batman.

I think the relationship between Tim and Damian would be interesting esp if Damian wasn't a great older brother/mentor to Steph. So Damian is telling Jason NOT to trust Oracle under any circumstance and Bruce is telling him it's okay, and Oracle is helping him out but is all pissy about it so he is getting the most mixed signals of all time.

And then the Red Hood shows up. Starts taking out gang members. Delivers a bag full of heads to the leaders in order to threaten her way to power. Wages war against Black Mask and the Penguin in less than a week.

Declares Crime Alley as Her's (which is totally unfair to Robin who lived there and still visits regularly) and starts taking out the trash.

The Joker is still alive and Batman has replaced her as Robin, it doesn't matter if Steph knows that Talia was manipulating her that still hurts. What's worse? Steph's best friend is nowhere to be found. His parents died a year or so back, his old house is sold to new owners, and Timothy Drake has dropped out of the public view.

- bro sunburns SO easily, the second summer hits his face is red (darry tries to get him to put sunblock on all the time but two-bit refuses because he likes being a little shit and frustrate darry)

- two-bit definitely ate dirt growing up multiple times and now he has the immune system of a god. cold and flu season comes around and wipes out the rest of the gang and two-bits the only one left standing. he likes to play nurse for the gang tho and make them soup and shit (but ofc it's two-bit so trust that he's going to being annoying the gang the whole time)

- never refuses a tea party with his little sister. you WILL catch this man with a tiara on and cramped onto a little kids plastic chair

- practically pony and johnnys resident chauffer, he likes taking them out to get food after school

- speaking of school, two-bit is having a BLAST. he's standing outside ponys classroom door making faces and trying to get pony to laugh, and sometimes he tries to get pony sent out into the hall or smthn cuz hes bored and wants someone to hang out with

- and when him and dally (let's pretend dally cares enough to go to school) are together it is a NIGHTMARE. theyre definitely sitting in the back of the class fucking around the whole time, theyre picking each other for every single project and then two-bit tries to improv it when it's time to present bc they didn't actually do it, he's lurking outside of the school outside dallys classroom window and making him laugh and hiding in the bushes whenever the teacher looks over

- he's also a master of sneaking out of school, and he does try to sneak all of his friends out the (first story) windows of their classes

- absolutely raiding the school vending machine, he's getting a shit ton of snacks and then pushing and tipping the machine until more come out. if you're behind him in line at a vending machine just walk away bc there will not be a crumb left when he's done

- he's also the kid having an entire feast in the back of class. he got sent to the principal one time for pulling out a rotisserie chicken and going ham on it mid lesson

- his hair is fluffyyyy under all that grease

- the type to show up to his partners house in the middle of the night and throw pebbles at their window until they open it (for marbit, marcia thinks it's cute. for darbit, darrys ready to rip two-bits head off because "the door is literally always unlocked two-bit and my room is on the first floor anyway, I stg if you break my goddamn window-")

- he makes absolutely diabolic food combinations

- "hey do you guys dare me to do *insert something really fucking stupid* "no, two-bit. please do not do that." "welp since you dared me I guess I gotta!"

- he's silly and an obnoxious joker but he can actually be super mature, and he will enter responsible big brother mode in a heart beat (like how he offered to stay with pony the day after the fire and how he checked ponys forehead when he looked sick)

- he loves the arcade and he's a god at ski ball, though it doesn't matter because he's stealing ever single ticket he sees anyway

- on a similar note BEWARE of this man if you do bumper carts with him. he's on a mission to wreck everyone's shit and the gang all start trying to get the hell out of there when they hear his evil laugh getting closer and closer

Im sobbing and jsut imagining MK and the Noodle Gang doing a visit to FFM during Slow Boiled (either not the version where DBK dragged Wukong to live st the palace or a version where Wukong managed to convince them to let him live in the conforts of his own home) and see him working on building a shrine. First, they immediately stop him because "Wtf you're pregnant! Put the hammer down!" before asking what the shrine was for.

"Ah, it's a bit... personal. I'd been meaning to rebuild this old thing for a while after it got destroyed in... the Burning..." Wukong's face faltered a moment here at the memories, "but hadn't been able to bring myself to do it. I figured I'd finally get around yo it."

It doesn't take long to realize this shrine was to honor an ancestor of some sort, although with Wukong being well known for not having parents (as far as they knew) they were confused and asked who the shrine was for. Wukong had a sad, almost nostalgic smile as he calmly, yet somehow enthusiastically, explained.

"He was the Elder of the troupe that led us when I was a cub, before I became the Monkey King. He-"

"Wait! You weren't always the Monkey King!?"

"*sigh* Yes, kid. Once upon a time, I was a cub just like anyone else. Anyways! He was a storyteller at heart and ancient, like, old enough to remember the Great Floods ancient! See, the thing about him is that he was like me, a stone monkey. So when I hatched, he took me in and raised me, taught me about our people. As much as he could, anyway. His memory was going, and he wasn't long for the world even when I was still a cub."

DBK can't keep his little bro locked up at the Bull palace for long. Red would sneak Wukong out if he asks nicely. PIF and DBK just sigh, they can't cage a free spirit.

Wukong getting the drive to fix things up around FFM, only for the Noodle Gang to stop him from doing heavy construction. You know Pigsy makes a choked squeal the first time he sees Wukong trying to climb a ladder unassisted.

When Wukong finally explains what he was trying to fix, the gang's hearts just drop. Is it well known that The Monkey King did in fact lose people in the War - to think that he lost the closest thing to a parent even before that surprises them.

Tang, jttw-brain firing: "HE! He was the old monkey that passed away and set you on the path to find Master Subodhi!" Wukong, smiling sadly: "Yes. Yes he was." Sandy: "He sounds like a fine man- monkey Mr King. Hope he's happy to see where you are now." Wukong, tracing the old shrine with his fingers: "So do I big guy."

After the convo takes place, the Noodle Shop gang conspire to fix up some of the shrines and statues around the island. They get DBK involved since he remembers what the island was like pre-Burning. The Bull King would also jump to help honor the man that raised his little brother into the King he became!

Wukong comes home one day and finds that the shrine to Elder Shítougùshì has been reparied - not exactly how it was before the Burning, but finally clean and completed. A little ceramic monkey figure sitting on the altar.

Wukong cries like a cub when he realises MK and his friends fixed it.

basically, hitchprint is made out of ink's vials and error's strings. hitch which is an synonym of error and print which is related to drawing, printing, ink ect.

his extra abilities are controlling emotions, and he can even feel the other's one if he cares enough to "connect" with you - how does he do that?? he connects a string on both souls, yours and his and that's how he understands you— for example, if you're feeling sad but somehow can't cry, if he connects this string to you he'll feel the sadness but will also express it for you [that's when the term cry for you becomes real eheheee🗿] he can be very vulnerable, but you don't see him like that often, he's moody and neutral most of the time it's a mix of it ig, he's not too edgy but not so kind either BUT is very protective of his partners 👀 oooooo he doesn't show it though, and with shattered's influence, ig he's got some manners from him too lol

his other ability is to make artificial souls that he can control and pressure you with it, example if he makes a fear soul he will be able to paralyze you — and this in a certain distance, if you're further than the distance he's able to control you won't be touched by it BUT if he forces too much his eyes will glitch and will hurts asf, to ease the pain he will put his glasses on and cover his eyes with his hoodie + won't be able to use his magic for a few days. [that doesn't happen so much thankfully??]

so, for his backstory

when hitch realized he was just an anomaly in every way possible he was really upset about it, he used to wander in the void since he had no idea how to leave, core!frisk was here when it happened, they searched for hitch for a while until finally founding him and brought him to the Omega timeline where he sort of got used to it.

he wasn't really comfortable there though, he felt it that it wasn't his place to be on, and he was really depressed at this period of time. so he didnt go out much, sometimes he would to take some fresh air, the reason he stayed was because of dream, he was the only person he truly spent time with and genuinely concidered him a friend.

until one day, he was woken up with a lot of noises, it was late at night, screaming could be heard and fighting could be seen, someone was attacking the area, it was shattered that was attacking the Omega timeline — hitch surprised by what he was seeing, ran toward the mess and asked what was happening, when he learned that it was dream he was dumbfounded and afraid for him.

despite that hitchprint somehow tried to defend the timeline, without laying a hand on him as he simply tried to get dream's attention, mostly because he didnt want others to hurt him. of course shattered caught him, somehow recognized hitchprint, then started to say how sad he was for him, that he understood, that he could fix his broken heart, his shattered dreams... if he joined him, of course core frisk and the people of Omega timeline tried to convince hitchprint but he ignored and left with shattered.. well he didn't have a choice at that moment as he had already teleported somewhere else.

hitch couldn't help but feel fear and excitment, was that really the same person?? he wondered why shattered didn't kill him or whatsoever but quickly learned that his power did intrested him and was the only reason he was spared, he felt heartbroken at the idea that it wasn't because of their friendship [or could it be?] but stopped thinking about it much with time, now as long as he was with him, he didn't care even though he was different.

random thoughts on shepard in his training days in the alliance, pre mass effect 1:

shepard is incredibly touch averse especially in his younger years... and i think the first and only time he ever got a haircut on base, it fucked him up. plus the px barber wasn't used to dealing with biotics either and to dealing with the static shock. so you ended up with one very freaked out barber and one very cut up and slightly shaken shepard

plus, going every week to get his hair cut and leaving nicked and a little mentally disturbed, and having to pay??? no thank u morons.... he modified his omni-tool fabricator so he can just shear it off on his own... it doesn't look Great but he's all right at it :)

and ofc he made credits off of that. he's pretty resourceful and i think decent at modifying omni-tools — by no means professional, and sometimes if he goes too crazy, the result can be dangerous (which was not necessarily a bad thing in days with the reds..... sometimes you Want something to catch on fire or to blow up). but he gets it done.

he's probably done all sorts of modifications for fellow recruits, for a few credits ofc, and has gotten in trouble for it ... probably a handful of times. i'm sure omni-tools are very standard and everyone's bound to have one, but they probably have standards on omni-tools that recruits are allowed to have. or limits on how Much said omni-tools can fabricate... im sure that shepard Will find a way to get fabricators into a regulated omni-tool ... and that one of his fucked up little creations probably sparked and caused a fire in the barracks at some point... maybe multiple points. (where there is yishai shepard. there is going to be a fire. or something that he's fucked up that Will cause a fire.)

in general, he got in a Lot of trouble during training and had to clean his act up big time. he's just got a penchant for causing shit (or rather. he sees an opportunity to make credits or to gain favours. he Will take said opportunity). it was very difficult fresh out of the reds to get clean. he went cold turkey from red sand/minagen, but basically just switched to heavy drinking, though there were times he nearly relapsed. nearly got kicked out for misconduct a few times, and he did not get along well with anyone — being very antisocial, extremely hard to read, coming in with a history like his, and having very powerful biotic abilities honed to destroy. and rumours of his gang affiliation and about what he was doing for the Reds spread around and made things even more difficult. the old tattoos (not things officially affiliated with the reds until years later, because the reds were still kinda small time/covert/regional) didn't help.

for these reasons and others, i think he has a really nasty history with higher ups, NCOs on power trips, people who were wary of him and sought to keep him under control. not all of them sucked, but the ones who did left lasting impressions, and shepard's attitude (aka just. the way he is) did not help. there were definitely people that didn't fuck with him and that wanted to see him fail.

i think that maybe anderson first came across him in these.. very Trying first couple of years in training. he saw a struggling young man (barely a young man tbh, shepard was in a difficult spot where he was forced to grow to survive and deal with Horrors, but that's!! still a kid!!!). someone who needed a little help and a chance to grow. he probably talked with some people and got future opportunities for shepard — so long as shepard got his shit together — and put him in contact with resources and programs for his personal shit. anderson didn't do a lot of this directly, but he did check in on shepard time to time, and of course higher ups giving him counsel would mention anderson's involvement. and when shepard was ready for it, got through advanced & biotic training, anderson recommended him personally for n7 training... cemented himself in shepard's life as a mentor when there were very few people who filled that role for shepard. shepard doesn't know anderson well, but he is deeply loyal to anderson and attributes his career to anderson seeing him and being willing to give a fucked up kid another chance.

it seems like you and anon are still yet to figure out that tae has dug this hold for himself. he's not dating jungkook, he's dating jennie, and he messed up when he cared too much about ppl knowing that he's dating her by throwing her under the bus (when he pretended that the insta follow was accidental—which it was, but not bc she showed up in his recommendations, he was lurking on her account shortly after opening his own—and had armys ganging up on her in the comments) and he tried deflecting the fandom by mentioning jk a lot since he knows "armys would like that" (his own words but about him doing fan service with seokjin).

taehyung monitors army and he knows how popular taekook is in the fandom, and since it won't take much to distract tkkrs/army he started name dropping jungkook often when the taennie rumors were at their peak. he REALLY didn't want ppl to know he's been sleeping with the enemy. but alas.

also idk who decided on that paris date because it did look like a pr stunt but the relationship itself is not fake. imo i think it was either jennie who hired the pap bc she wants ppl to know she's dating V of BTS (who could blame her) or she managed to convince tae to soft launch their relationship but he was hesitant and backtracked after he saw the backlash. relationships are not perfect and no offense but jennie seems like a selfish person and a show-off and i hate that tae likes her but this is none of my business anyway. they've some really similar characteristics though (not necessarily bad things just stuff that i've observed over time after the rumors began) so it makes sense that they would date. i really hope they don't last though cause tae deserves someone with a better personality, someone nicer.

now that tae knows what kind of hole he had dug for himself, and he knows that name-dropping jungkook had blinks, kpoppies, and even jkkrs jumping him and calling him a coward he had to stop. he can still hang out with jungkook (and does!) since it doesn't translate badly to most people (except for insecure shippers) because taekook are friends. them hanging out or spending time together will never be the proof tkkrs want it to be, because there's nothing weird or out of the ordinary about their hang outs, especially when they've been consistently hanging within a friend group aka the wooga squad.

yeah yeah, tkkrs might be right about "the woogas adopted jk" thing or whatever, but who cares? it still means nothing romantic-wise for taekook. even all the name-dropping tae did had no romantic undertones to it but that pissed people off because jk was always singled out and constantly mentioned out of the blue on two minute lives for no clear reason AND it wasn't mutual on jk's end. it's the same situation with jk getting hated on by pjms because he keeps mentioning jimin when jimin seemingly doesn't care. but ofc jimin cares about jk, just like jk cares about tae, but the one-sided-ness of it all is causing issues between their groups of solos and shippers because "taehyung is obsessed with jungkook" but "jungkook is obsessed with jimin" and all the bs their solos spew.

taehyung's case is complicated because he now has blinks watching him and one wrong move from him that could potentially set jennie up will get him dragged to hell by her fans, and he doesn't want that especially now that he's promoting his album.

sometimes i feel like a lot of yall are really dense, and have no intuition at all. because what tae's has been up to this year is obvious as hell, he's actually pretty calculated and it showed especially this year and this is why all the jk mentions left a bad taste in my mouth midst the taennie fiasco, but only tkkrs and some armys (mainly army twitter) were in denial about it because they hate blackpink and their fans. but what we want isn't always what goes on in those celebrities lives and yall need to understand that they KNOW their audience and they know how to control it when things get out of control, and tae is no exception. he tried controlling his audience with the way he thought will work but it backfired on him because not all of his audience are gullible tkkrs, and now he's not trying anymore because it's risky when he's promoting (at least for now).

and i hate that people consider anyone who acknowledges that tae did wrong as an anti. we're not fucking antis for acknowledging things when our faves fuck up. they're humans, they make mistakes without thinking sometimes, taehyung fucked up when he ignored all the rumors about him and jennie and even actively tried to divert attention from it thinking that ALL who cared about the rumors were tkkrs who'll eat up his few jk mentions and move on with their lives. but there were armys, blinks, and kpop stans who didn't fall for this shit bc they don't care about some jk mentions, we noticed his pattern of singling out jk and as non-tkkrs it all clicked into place quick and the conclusion wasn't pretty. this is why i hope after his album promo ends he doesn't mess things up again because it will really cause issues.

Tae singling out Jk isn't exactly new. A lot of people are looking at this like you are, like it was some masterplan Tae formed to hide his relationshi with Jennie. When actually, Tae and Jk just did what they always do. They just see each other a lot, and that shows. Whether it is through mentions in lives, through meeting, through being physically close in official footage... Jk and Tae just have a special bond. What has been new though, is that we are in a different era. Before chapter2, Tae and Jk's 'singling each other out' was obscured by the other members and by them also interacting wih other members a lot. Now though, both Tae and Jk have hung out with each other obviously more than they have with the other members (especcialy during the first part of the year. So for them mentioning each other like they normally would wasn't on purpose, it just was normal. If they'd hung out with Jin, or Jimin, or Hobi just as much, they would have mentioned them as well. You can also see this in with Jimin who kept seeing Hobi and Yoongi most, those were the members mentioned by him most. It's not something they came up with, it's just what they do. Jk isn't obsessed with Jimin. Although they obviously care about each other a lot, the interactions that are magnified atm (like Jk's live dedicated to Jimin, the recent live with Jk in bed) are all more or less sett of by something. It's just Jk spotting something about Jimin and going along with it in the moment. This is also how they have always been. It's banter and friendship.

Mentioning Jk to divert attention from Jennie is also very non-effevtive and management would have known that and advised him otherwise. It only means much to Tkkrs, and we are very much not the whole of army and Blinks. So only if Tae would've wanted just Tkkrs to not know about him and Jennie that might've been a thing, but that just doesn't make sense in any way. If they wanted to keep Tae and Jennie a secret they wouldn't have walked around Paris like that (which yes was obvious pr). Tae posted Jk on his insta right before that, so whas that also still him trying to divert attention right before soft landing his relationship? Please, they have a whole team behind them who advises them about how to deal with situations like this. No company would let things run wild the way they have unless that was the intention. If they were actually together, there would have been a confirmation straight after Paris to calm things down.

I think the things that are considered 'members doing something wrong' are rarely actually members doing something wrong. Things get magnified to an unreasonable extent. Members mentioning each other is never 'doing something wrong' if you think that in any capacity you don't fully realize the respect and love members have for each other. I see people (tkkrs) say that Jimin is showing that pic of him and Jk together is him not asking for consent from Jk... what flip? Those men (all members) know exactly what they can and cannot do regarding the others.

They're actually cousins! wall of text info about their families from my notes below the cut but essentially all you need to know is that Mary's (deceased) father Aidan was the brother of Aoife's (still living) father Francis and that the cousins did actually see quite a bit of one another as children, as one might expect, but Aoife is a few years younger than Mary + Mary ofc is amab and was forced to hang out with her boy cousins more so Mary and Aoife weren't specifically close. after Mary left home to work as a servant Aoife low key stopped thinking about her by herself at all lmao but she does vaguely dislike her purely because Mary's brother Art is, like, basically a cop*, and almost all of Mary's other brothers are in the British army, and Aoife subscribes to the theory that if one person in a family is bad everyone in it is equally guilty forever #womenswrongs. Mary thinks Aoife is misguided at best and a dangerous fanatic at worst but also feels bad for her because she thinks Aoife has been taken in by the wrong people who are just using her, although more than most other characters she recognises that many of Aoife's beliefs are actually really her own beliefs rather than just ~corruption~ from the men in her life and that Aoife is far cleverer than anyone gives her credit for. + Mary would never admit this but also she low key doesn't like any of her cousins because her uncle Francis still considers her dead abusive father who she was unironically glad to see killed a sound fella with a few demons and therefore fuck all his children also.

Aoife on the other hand, if she thinks of Mary, similarly thinks she's either misguided or stupid as hell. she kind of just doesn't say anything about the fact that Eoin is clearly in love with Mary because first of all obviously Mary's not interested atm and if Eoin made any of the radical life changes Mary wants him to make to get together (leave the gang, etc) Aoife would no longer be even remotely interested in him and would have bigger reasons to fuck off somewhere else than him, uh, breaking up with her. like she loves Eoin (and he loves her too. kinda. that's another post) and doesn't want Mary Stealing Her Man but also recognises that she'd definitely jump ship far before they got to that stage. that being said though, I cannot emphasise how much Mary is an NPC in Aoife's mind. atp Aoife has def forgotten that Mary ever even transitioned and just assumes that any memories of an older camab cousin from her childhood were Art and then gets so mad thinking about Art that she passes out

*by which I don't necessarily mean that his job is exactly like that of a cop (although sometimes it's close) but more that his having joined the wholly protestant armagh yeomanry is like similar young catholic man joining the b-specials in the 60s levels of unhinged. everyone hates him and low key the entire rest of his family too for it both because he's joined the direct force of oppression against them (!!) and because one has to wonder what exactly he did to ingratiate himself with the other yeomen, who will have originally despised him. he's been attacked multiple times and mysterious sods of burning turf falling from the sky keep almost burning his house down but as of the start of my nanowrimo project he's still kicking 😒

Can I know more about Killer, Horror, Dust, Cross, and Blue relationship like how they became part of the gang and any personality changes?

answering this will either take two posts or a read more bc i do NOT do things by halves.

I “recently” went over a bit about Killer here. So for now, I'll go over Dust, Horror, Cross and Blue.

Horror: gentle giant. He just wants to feel included. Due to his head injury, he struggles with frequent memory loss and speaking verbally. He uses a notebook to keep himself on track, but his most successful plans are usually thought of and executed on the fly. He's really reliable in a pinch. Has good instincts. Out of the group, he's the most likely to be underestimated by outsiders. His love language is cooking for others but he's not picky about what he eats himself. Hates loud high-pitched noises. (screaming specifically.)

Dust: quiet brooding guy. Outwardly he seems to be the most laidback and apathetic of the group. In reality, he’s restless and moody. The most likely of the group to wander off spontaneously with no purpose in mind. Doesn’t talk much but he knows his way around chemistry. A competent engineer. Makes his own fireworks. Hard to say whether he's introverted or not but if he wants to be left alone you won't' find him, and if he wants company he will tail you like a shadow. more talkative in a group setting, strangely enough.

Blue: enthusiastic, boisterous, and incredibly earnest. He wears his whole heart on his sleeve. He doesn't believe in committing theft, crime in general, or even trespassing. He's actually a little scared of trespassing. secretly, he thinks criminals are brave (but stupid) for trespassing. Can’t lie to save his life. Not that the skill matters much when he lives with two empaths. Cross: introverted, defensive, reluctant to let down his guard, and enough of a workaholic to challenge Rem for his title. Cross needs a structured routine to function. He takes his duties very seriously and generally goes about things as if he has something to prove. (He doesn’t but he hasn’t realized that yet.) -On the Group Dynamic- Dust and Killer get along well. Most of the time. They have a lot of things in common. How they met the Apple twins. The tragic circumstances of their respective AUs. The fact Blue reminds them of Papyrus… do not bring up Papyrus or the Human, on this note. They’ve gotten into bitter violent confrontations over what happened with their brother. Don’t push it. Horror is good friends with Blue, actually. Blue is conscientious of Horror’s intolerance for loud noises and makes an effort to use his indoor voice in his company. Horror tolerates Blue’s erm… creative meal ideas in turn. And they mutually bond over their shared interest in food prep, wordplay, TV Drama, and baking competitions. (Molt, Horror and Blue set aside a date/time to watch the latest episodes when they air. (Cross sometimes joins them as long as they don’t make a big deal over it.) Molt can’t see the screen ofc, but he’s able to experience the show through how Horror and Blue react to it, the occasional narration from both of them, and ofc, the verbal drama of it all.)

Blue’s relationship with the rest of the group is complicated. He knows he’s the odd one out because he is ideologically opposed to Rem’s methods. At the same time, he begrudgingly accepts that sometimes for the greater good, you have to make sacrifices. (He doesn’t like it and is always looking for a better option anyway.) He sticks around out of loyalty to his friend and because he firmly believes the group needs a firm but kind hand. He knows they’ve all been hurt in some way. And if no one else will look out for this group of renegade thieves and scoundrels, he will!

Cross tries his hardest to get along with exactly no one because he wants to keep everyone at arm’s length but ironically this has the opposite effect. Killer treats him like a surrogate little brother. Dust simply doesn’t give a shit as long as Cross is a team player. Horror fusses over him. He has an open invitation to join Blue's workout routine whenever. Rem trusts him. And worst of all, he wants to spill his guts out to Molt whenever something even remotely happens, and that can only mean he feels safe here. And that is terrifying to Cross. He has a home now and that is the worst thing that’s ever happened to him.

Baji was on his way to the hospital like he always do after classes. He know you since forever and yes, sometimes it was hard to see you in such a bad state, seeing your disease hurting you, phisically and mentally, seeing it slowly killing you was hard, but he couldn't spent a day away from you.

Everytime he was coming, he made it his personnal mission to see you smile, even if it was weak, even if you weren't feeling good, he had to see a smile appear on your face, because it gives him hope. Hope that you'll feel better, and he really doesn't want to lose hope. Because there's still a lot of things he want to do with you, so much things he needs to tell you. Loosing hope was loosing you. And he couldn't.

He open the door of your bedroom, you were looking through the window, turning your head when you notice he was there "Hey, feeling good?" you ask, giving him a weak smile "Yup, I just couldn't wait to come here, i had two test today, it was boring" he says, removing his shoes to sit next to you like he always do "Hey, you better work hard" you smile, he looks at you, smiling "I am!"

He put his hand in his bag, taking the scans he bringed for you, giving them to you as he took the one he bringed for him "The nurses will kill you if they know you give me food in secret" you joke. He shrugs "I bet the food here is horrible, and they love me anyway" he says making you giggle "It does taste horrible"

You ate a bit, not wanting to throw up in front of him, you listen to his story about his day, and things he had to do with the gang. Looking at him, suddenly feeling nostalgic of when you were kids, playing at mikey's house. You missed this. Going out and being able to play with him, you turn your head, you didn't wanted to tell him.

"Hey" he says "Weren't they supposed to do another scan to see if the chemo is working?" he ask, remembering hearing your nurses telling you the day before. You close your eyes "It's now, you have to tell him" you think. You look at him, smiling "Yeah they did" you say, your voice breaking a bit, you cough and he caress your back "And?" he ask, smiling.

"Don't loose hope, never." He remembers his mother telling him when he came back from your place, crying because you just told him about your cancer"You have to stay strong baby" she told him, engulfing him in a tight hug "She'll be okay, but she'll need you "

You shake your head "My doctor said that it'll only get worse" you say, finally letting your tears pour on your face. His smile slowly fade, looking at your tears, the way you hide your face in your hands, because you hate crying in front of people. "B-but" he stutters, his shaky hand trying to take yours "They gotta do something, right, they can't leave you like this?" he says. His throat was hurting.

Stay strong. I can't loose her. Stay strong.

You shake your head again, hearing you sob was destroying him. I can't break in front of her. Cupping your cheeks, he makes you look at him, smiling "It'll be okay, I'll stay with you" he says. You could see his eyes starting to get glossy, making your lower lip shake again "Until the end" he says. And the rest of the time he stayed with you, crying and holding you until the hours of visiting hour ended.

Your mother called his during an afternoon, her mother really tried to find a way to tell him without hurting him, but how could she not when the girl he was in love with since he was five died. When she told him he didn't cried at least not in front of herhe stayed silent, looking into the void not really listening. But the second he was in his bedroom she could hear his cry. Crying herself at the heart wrecking sob her son was making.
