Jimin’s FACE Live
Totally unserious.
Jimin is just as big of a doofus as Jungkook. Two of a kind... 너는 나, 나는 너 neoneun na, naneun neo ... you are me, I am you.
Giggling and laughing at himself almost the entire time. Having to focus and keep telling himself to stop smiling...
He was about to delve into the bathroom scene where he is looking into the mirror and then he cuts himself off saying ‘oops, too mature for this general audience.’ Here he is presenting some mature-rated themes in his music, visuals and music videos and then he proceeds to skip over some parts because minors are watching the live... gahhhhhhh!!!!
But the man almost couldn’t stop smiling. The giggling made me think he was self-conscious, watching himself and talking about his work, he plowed through attempting to explain the songs, their lyrics, their origins and inspirations. He gave us some insight on parts of the Set Me Free Pt. 2 MV and outright admitted he did not like watching himself acting in the Like Crazy video.
But every few minutes he would do a goofball doofy thing like recount how he chit chats with old people he passes while hiking and then says ‘that was unnecessary, let’s get back to the dance lesson.’
If he would get it through his head, those are the things we want to see. Him being his normal self outside of the idol world. Goofy-trackpants-wearing-soju-drinking-friend. The lock he has on that is tight, tight.
And Park Jimin is the enabler of this silliness in the Weverse live comments:
And Army threw Jungkook under the bus:
Though he was very unserious during a lot of this scripted live, at the end, before he signed off, he went off-script with a sincere message that though he may have felt portraying his emotions through this album might come across as arrogant, he realized everyone goes through these things and even he may experience such things again in the future. He said he loved us and asked for our love back.
Jimin’s promotions are shifting to something new he said but didn’t give any hints.
Though he is the master at saying a whole lot of stuff without really saying anything, he did seem pleased with what he’s done so far and that he promised to keep growing.
I am very proud of him and what he’s done so far.

Need Help Deciding on a D&D Character
Edit: I made a Twitter poll to help decide: https://twitter.com/noblecrumpet/status/1144389611763961856
As my Tomb of Annihilation campaign is nearing its end (they are exploring level 4 of the Tomb now), I have been offered the opportunity of a lifetime for a DM: to actually play in a game instead of DM-ing it!
The problem is, I have three banger character concepts and no clue which to play. Since I have a lot of followers that can weigh in, I figured I would present them to you guys to help me decide. Each has at least one friendly NPC and one rival/villain NPC in their backstory and a character arc for maximum involvement in the story. Let me know which one sounds the most interesting or exciting to play because I like all of these dudes equally.
The setting is Forgotten Realms, but not the Sword Coast, and I think our team comp has two different barbarians and two other unknown characters. All three of my ideas are spellcasters so I’m not as concerned that I will be going against party comp.
Character 1: Dain, the Undermage
Character: Duergar Slime Sorcerer (homebrewed) focused on dealing a lot of Acid damage.
Appearance: Dain has ash-colored skin with a dirty red beard turned yellow in places from contact with acid. His forehead is magically branded with a column of three dark violet eye symbols rising from his brow. He wears a conglomeration of found and scavenged clothing scraps that form into robes, using bones for ornamentation and clasps. He wears a dark cowl to hide the sorcerous mark on his forehead. His spells all have a visual effect involving green ooze or slime.
Character Arc: Once he understands what heroic comradery is like, or if someone risks their life to save his, he will go from a selfish and greedy miser to someone willing to share his ambitions and to risk his own life for his new friends.
Backstory: Dain was once a proud brewer in a duergar kingdom called Blackmount, a subterranean mountain citadel ruled by Gabrid Grayrune. Brewing is an especially rare and almost taboo art since strong alcohols will cause duergar’s psionic powers to go awry. He lived with his wife, Azntryd.
One day, an aboleth named Thuuldukod took control of a good number of the duergar in the kingdom and spirited them away to its lair. Somehow the aboleth’s transformative slime and Dain’s innate psionic powers awakened a latent form of sorcery within him. He gained power over slimes, acid, and ooze and was also able to break free from Thuuldukod’s control. After freeing some others, they were able to overcome the aboleth and bury it beneath a pile of rock.
Upon returning to Blackmount, the duergar took in the other freed duergar that survived, but banished Dain. His awakened power marked him with three purple eye symbols on his forehead, and the duergar believed this proved he was somehow still under the aboleth’s control. He left his life and his wife Azntryd behind. Angered by this treatment, he left to wallow in the filthier regions of the Underdark with his newfound powers, going slightly mad as he wondered if he was truly the one in control of his magic.
Adventurers came by and tried to slay him, thinking the raving duergar was a common monster, but he overcame them. This battle caused him to rethink his priorities and once he noticed the wealth these heroes had accumulated, decided to act on his duergar greed and become a “hero” himself. His ultimate goal is to create his own kingdom to replace the one he lost.
Character 2: Klak, the Dungeon Delver
Character: Kobold Artificer (Artillerist) with a focus on exploration and utility.
Appearance: Klak sports red-grey scaled skin with orange eyes. As an artificer, he is always weighed down with lots of equipment, but thankfully has been able to design a haversack that can hold many of his things despite their weight. His artifacts are primarily made of stonework with glowing crimson runes, including his artillerist turret which grows from nearby stone to attack. The energy of his magic is red with lots of Kirby dots.
Character Arc: Klak is distrustful of warm-bloods but is his curiosity for history and ancient relics easily overcomes this. When he finally reunites with his crush who stayed behind when he was exiled, the only kobold or even person he ever trusted, Klak will have to choose between living in the ancient past or finding his feelings in the present.
Backstory: Klak (“Pebble” in draconic) and his kobold brethren served a green dragon named Andorax the Venom-Fang. Klak was one of the tyrant’s trap-makers. One day when mining out space for a pit trap, Klak came upon the entrance to an ancient lost tomb with magical technology and defenses. Not wanting to tell Andorax, he created a secret door in front of the tomb’s entrance and would steal away to the place when no one was looking. Slowly he began to uncover new secrets and learn how to abuse the magical items there. He even overcame some undead creatures by himself thanks to learning how to recreate a magical turret that once halted his own progress.
After learning so many new tricks, Klak’s traps began to improve and Andorax started to take notice. He also started to notice when he went missing. Eventually, he discovered the secret entrance and filled it with poison gas while Klak was inside. Thinking quickly, Klak was able to create a gasmask and hide within a secret compartment. He couldn’t risk leaving, and knew that his kobold brethren would soon be combing the tomb for his body, so he dug and mined his way to the surface. Exhausted and running drastically low on air, he breached the ground in the wilderness nearby.
Now Klak looks for new dungeons to delve, only stopping into town to sell treasures and buy tools and supplies. He knows a dwarven antiques merchant named Helga Goldbraid that shares new leads with him. He has joined adventuring parties before, but is wary of doing so ever since a human fighter, Amyster Bayn, betrayed him to get away with wealth and leave him to die.
He misses one of his kobold friends whom he had a crush on, Jakryl, a crackshot crossbow sniper who presumably still works for Andorax. Klak was never able to confess his feelings for him before his escape.
Character 3: Gazmin Selunath, the Tide Princess
Character: Triton Bladesinger (elf restriction waived) with a focus on hitting people with her morningstar and blasting things with ice but with valuable utility spells in her back pocket. I imagine her as Thor’s personality, Starfire’s appearance (inverted color scheme) and the feeling of a Frank Frazetta painting.
Appearance: Big wavy green hair down to her calves, blue scaled skin, and yellow-green fins and webbing. She is tall for a triton, and has a powerful muscular build. She wears algae-stained whaleskin leather armor studded with barnacles, and a crown of spiked coral. She wields a magic morningstar whose head is a giant pearl with conical shells for spikes.
Character Arc: Gazmin is a prideful and haughty noble on a self-imposed quest to prove her worthiness to rule by slaying a great evil. However, she will never be satisfied. She has no actual desire to rule, but instead wanted to explore the surface world and its wonders. Her arc will complete once she stops lying to herself.
Backstory: Gazmin Selunath, daughter of Queen Myrthyn and King Genallus, is next in line to the throne of the triton kingdom of Seluna (which lies in a deep part of what the landlubbers call the Shining Sea). Gazmin was taught triton magic at the most prestigious magic schools and also the art of combat from the greatest triton warriors, and combines these skills into a bladesinging style she calls the Orca style. She wanted for nothing, but still realized something was missing. She didn’t feel worthy of attaining the crown and proclaimed that she had been given a task in a prophetic dream from the gods: she cannot rule Seluna until she destroys a great and terrible evil. Seeing no great evils in the kingdom, she opted to leave it and find this evil on land. Her parents gave her powerful triton relics to aid her in her quest. Then they said their goodbyes and she left in search of glory.
Gazmin is unfamiliar with the ways and workings of the surface world. The first thing she did upon arriving was save a mountain man named Riff Bin from a group of marauding orcs. When asked where he lived that she may return him safely, he said his home was the mountain. She mistook this to mean that he was a great king who owned an entire mountain, and now offers him fealty and occasionally visits to send him tribute. Riff takes this in stride, not wanting to offend the terrifying woman who froze ten orcs solid and shattered them with her morningstar.
Little to Gazmin’s knowledge, her jealous and treacherous younger brother Elganus has followed her to the surface world in hopes of ensuring Gazmin never returns to claim the throne he believes he deserves.

Exclusive Interview Furukawa Yuta – ‘Black Butler’ Musical - Tango on the Campania - Part 1
In ‘Awesome’ volume 23 – Part 1
Link in Amazon
Note: I only translated the part that was about the ‘Black Butler’ musicals.
Host: The curtains shall rise on the musical of ‘Black Butler’ – Tango on the Campania – on the 31st of December. [In this play] you shall be playing the main role of Sebastian. This will be the third time for Mr. Furukawa to play Sebastian. What was your state of mind when your reprise was decided?
Furukawa: “I was incredibly happy. Especially so after the previous run of the ‘Circus Arc’, of which the story evoked a great excitement, and its ending sure made one wonder how the story was going to proceed. I did not expect myself to be asked for [Sebastian] again for that story to begin with, let alone this time for the ‘Luxury Liner Arc’ which is even more climactic. So when I had the honour to be called again I really felt the happiness of ‘I can do it again!’ and yelled: “Please by all means, allow me!” With these words I accepted the role with great glee.”
Host: In your blog post we saw that you wrote “this time I will be in the biggest trouble I have ever been in before.”
Furukawa: “I did?”
Host: Yes (laughs).
Furukawa: “Ah~ I think I might have indeed (laughs). Story-wise, this arc reveals quite a number of things about Sebas. Therefore I think that I will start struggling before I do anything else. I have experienced quite a lot [of troubles] when it comes to theatre, but I have no choice but to stand my ground. I think that I will be struggling this time as well.”
Host: However, I have been thinking that this time would be easier for you, because Uchikawa Reo will be reprising his role as Ciel as well.
Furukawa: “That is right. I understand Reo to a certain extent, and I believe that Reo understands me very well. As such, in the aspect of building our relationship together, the fact that the both of us are reprising our roles is a very big help, indeed. However, whether it be the scriptwriters, directing team or the staff, they have mostly been replaced. I think it’s even possible to call this an entirely new team, so it is vital that we focus our minds [onto this production]. As for Reo, I would be so happy if we get to talk lots and deepen our relationship even more.”
Host: When the previous run, the ‘Circus Arc’ ended, Reo said that he wanted to work with you again, right?
Furukawa: “Yes, he did. On the last day he said: “I want to do this together again,” while crying.”
Host: He said while crying because he was overwhelmed by his emotions that came with the Final Performance’s closure?
Furukawa: “That was part of it, but also the feeling of loneliness dawning. It is quite rare to work on one thing with everyone being so united, is it not? And Reo was especially doted on by everyone, we truly were one team. Once having been a member of such a strong team, and then you get hit by the solitude of having to depart from everybody, the feeling of accomplishment as well as being so touched… that sure makes some tears well up.”
Host: Was it like: “We can do this together again!” when the two of you reunited?
Furukawa: “No, I actually have the feeling we were at a loss for words when we met up again. When we met up again we were both very shy, and just said: It has been a while.”
Host: Does that happen too among boys? Usually with girls, we hide our mouths behind our hands and rejoice.
Furukawa: “Ah, actually before that, when the ‘Luxury Liner Arc’ was announced, I got a Line message from Reo. At the time he was in a hotel in Hokkaido, and when the announcement came he jumped on his bed out of happiness, or so I heard. After the jumping he Line-messaged me (laughs). From that message I could tell just how happy he was; we understood our mutual joy very well.”
Host: How very cute of him to jump on his bed (laughs). Well then, let us look back at ‘Black Butler’. The curtains closed on the ‘Circus Arc’ that was highly praised. What was your reaction to the conclusion [of the previous show], Mr. Furukawa?
Furukawa: “When it ended the fatigue suddenly hit me like concrete, but at least I pulled through, I thought. That was my reaction.”
Host: Was there anything you paid more attention to as Sebastian in comparison to your performance in ‘Musical ‘Black Butler’ – the Lycoris that Blazes the earth 2015 –’?
Furukawa: “I have the feeling that I obtained a more distanced objectivity in comparison to the first time [I played Sebastian]. Of course I had the chance to reassess my own performance in ‘Lycoris’ through the DVD, but I realised just how scary this character is anew. As such, I started reconsidering how I should best deliver that scariness. I tried to interweave even the parts that were not under the spotlights with the play as a whole, while calculatingly work on the distanced objectivity in a demon’s perspective.”
Host: And your relationship with Ciel?
Furukawa: “I think that the ‘Circus Arc’ was one wherein Ciel played a very active role. Of course, Ciel is supposed to be a main character of the story to begin with, but I have the feeling that it is an arc wherein his growth is central to the story. As for their relationship, there were many scenes wherein Ciel advanced further onto the path of evil. So as the protagonist in the shadows, I have paid great attention to how Sebas is supposed to behave, and his position therein. [To Sebastian,] Ciel’s growth equals his advance into the dark. Those are the moments Sebas trembles in excitement, to the point you could say there is no greater happiness for him. That’s why [I have been thinking] how I should express that… However, I have the feeling that this goes beyond him smiling like a creep, but then I started wondering whether that isn’t just a very good way to express his demonicness as well, and then I end up overthinking everything again… It was very difficult. However, I do have the feeling that there is a great improvement in the tempo and smoothness in [Sebastian’s] arguing with Ciel in comparison to the first time.”
Host: Does this have something to do with your natural chemistry with Reo who plays Ciel?
Furukawa: “I think our chemistry is part of it, but I think it also has to do with a greater awareness I have gained in playing Sebas. On this aspect as well as the aspect of skill, I think I might have achieved some improvement.”
Host : I see. Moreover, you received a lot of praise from the original author during your first time [as Sebastian] right? I heard she spoke very highly of how much the angle of your legs resembled Sebastian’s of the original comics when you kneel down. Did Yana-sensei say anything to you during the ‘Circus Arc’?
Furukawa: “Sensei is very kind-hearted and respects the actors’ choices per default. That is why she would never command in the way of “do it like this please”, or criticise anybody; instead she is always full of praise. But honestly speaking, I really wish to know what she actually thinks.”
Host : No, I am sure that her praises towards you are the truth.
Furukawa: “But ‘Black Butler’ is something Sensei has been working on and built from scratch. That is why I am sure she has in mind what is ‘correct’, and I cannot believe it is possible that I am capable of expressing 100% of that. I dare say with certainty that when she looks at me there must be thoughts popping up of “Ah, this is somewhat wrong”. That is why I would be very happy if she would tell me what she really thinks. Although I would be very troubled if she would only do that after the final performance (laughs).”
Host : (Laughs) you are more of the type to say: “if there is something please tell me quickly”?
Furukawa: “Well, I also get very down if I get criticised too much. It is very difficult (laughs).”
Host : So if either, Mr. Furukawa, you are not the type to thrive under praise, but more the type who desires strict feedback?
Furukawa: “No, neither. If I get praised too much, I start fretting about having to do something exactly the same way I got praised for a subsequent time, and start overexert myself in the most absurd of ways. Reversely if I get told off too much, I will enter a spiral downwards into a corner that make me go “ah.” So I guess more than ‘pa!’(straightforwardly) it is better to go ‘fu~un’ (gently) with me, I guess?”
Host : Even though people go for the ‘fu~un’, would you not also worry if people say nothing at all?
Furukawa: “Ah, that is true. I would worry quite a bit (laughs). I am one big contradiction, am I not (laughs)?”

about; Ali, short for Allison, is an only child and comes from a fairly Catholic household. Her parents, both devout in their religion, always had very strict rules and considered things like ‘magic’ - even the childlike wonder of it so often possessed in Disney movies - to be ‘the work of Satan’, and so wildly frowned upon Ali’s wild imagination and excitement about all things magical, sci fi, and so on. Their endless preaching and their narrow-minded ways never put her off, however, and she stayed consistent in her passion for Disney, eventually going on to work at Disney as their Wendy. Before heading to Disney, however, she was in a long-term relationship with her high school boyfriend, something her parents also disapproved of. While her boyfriend, Trevor, was considered the picture perfect image of everything they stood for, they disdained the idea of her growing close to him. Not because they didn’t trust Trevor, but because they didn’t trust Ali. They believed that women should know their place, and that they should keep to themselves and, often, only speak when spoken to. They deplored Ali’s enthusiasm and love that she spread so openly, and they never understood her openness, or how easy it was for her to approach strangers and make friends so casually and easily. They had always hoped her to be more reserved, and were certain that she would only bring shame to their family name. After getting pregnant at 19 - out of wedlock, and to Trevor who, before dating her, had been everyone’s image of perfect - her parents kicked her out, disgusted that she could be so ‘careless’ and ‘unthinking’. Still, with her sights set on Disney, Ali gave birth to her little boy and went away to live her dream, with her sweet son at her side. After a year at Disney, it became all too evident that Trevor was unhappy. He started belittling her, both in front of her friends and in the privacy of their apartment, and would make her feel small any given chance. When she was busy and had to work, he’d cause arguments about how he always had to ‘babysit’, despite Colin being his son. He begged her to quit her job, even going so far as to threaten to leave with Colin if she didn’t, and eventually Ali split up with him and sent him packing when Colin was only 4 months old. She lived a pretty happy and content life, taking care of Colin and seeing that he was well looked after while she worked, and she loved her job, her friends, and all of the people that she came into contact with all the while. She’d long since forgotten Trevor, and her dreadful parents, and was living exactly the life she’d always wished to. Unfortunately, just after Colin turned 3, Trevor reappeared in her life, begging her to come back to him. With snide remarks laced in faux-compliments, and promises to give Colin the life that he deserved, and a father that loved him, Ali eventually gave in and got back with him, leaving Disney - and, in turn, Sutton - in the wings. 2 years later and she’s still with Trevor, trying to break free from the grips of their toxic relationship and hoping she can go it alone with Colin and take care of her little boy. In all of her struggles between her parents, Trevor, and having to leave the one place she felt safe and happy, she’s also been struggling with her sexuality, and coming to realise that she’s strongly attracted to girls. Having always wanted to defy her parents in some manner, she always put her lack of physical - or romantic - attraction to Trevor down to the fact that, perhaps, she was only with him to make them angry. She’d tried for so long to push through it, eventually convincing herself that she did love him, only to slowly come to terms with the fact that alongside him being vile, cruel, and hurtful towards her, that she had no desire to be with any men whatsoever. Now back in New York and working in a small textiles store, Ali spends most of her time away from work taking care of Colin, and sewing/knitting at home and creating tiny Disney costumes for Colin to wear, as well as designing her own cosplays too. Though she never wears them, and often has to hide them from Trevor for fear of upsetting him, she likes to think that one day maybe she’ll be able to make something of herself and truly be happy again, and perhaps find and follow a new passion away from working as Wendy, too.
cathal murphy;

about; Cathal Murphy, brother to Aoife and Rory, cousin to Séamus, Darragh, Taylor, and James. Much more confident than the likes of Aoife and Séamus, he lay somewhere in the middle between those two and Rory. With Rory as outgoing as they come, Cathal often tried to follow in his elder brother’s footsteps to a certain capacity, always making the effort to go out of his way to talk to people and instigate a conversation, eager to make friends and meet new people. Where Aoife would often shy away from the unknown, Cathal tried to force himself to take more risks and try new things and was always eager to get involved in any aspect that he could. A keen soccer fan, Cathal spent the majority of his time out at matches with his da, watching his favourite teams play, and even going so far as to have a Chelsea season ticket so that he could head over to London every so often and bond with his da. Never losing his passion for the sport, he’s also played for school teams and went on to play for Belfast u16′s, and hopes to continue playing in some small capacity when he arrives in NYC. While his relationship with his siblings, his parents, and even most of his cousins is great, Cathal always had a very rough relationship with Darragh - though, then again, who didn’t? At a young age he always found himself on the brunt of Darragh’s moods, and is dreading being reunited with the older man. Having been on the receiving end of many harsh words, and even harsher slaps and punches - all of which resulted in Rory intervening, and paying the price - Cathal has developed a very strong, and very fierce mentality that everyone should be kind, with no exceptions. Always having been one to be nice to others, he’s since amplified this in every aspect and believes that nobody should ever feel lost or alone, or as though they’re any less than anybody else. He loathes bullies, and cannot stand people who hurt others just for the thrill of it. Due to his relationship with Darragh, from a young age he’d started learning how to pick the locks in their home back in Belfast, and used to climb in and out of his own bedroom window at night by way of an escape, always eager to avoid confrontation with the cousin who he was forced to share a living space with. A huge lover of animals, and always open to lend a helping hand, Cathal has spent the last 3 years volunteering and helping his local farmers with a lot of their larger hauls, varying from mucking out horse stables to trimming hedges to helping mend broken fences to feeding the animals. On top of that, he worked at the local donkey sanctuary, which he loved more than anything. It gave him the opportunity to not only work with the animals, but interact with all the people - both old and young - that came by. As someone who loves interacting with others and making new friends, Cathal spends a large portion of his time online and finding new friends on social media, which is how he found Evan. The two became fast friends, and Cathal unashamedly tells people that his best friend is Evan Wilcox, whom he met online. He has no qualms about explaining to people that he met him online, and doesn’t believe in the concept that you can’t be ‘real’ friends if you meet on the internet. Having just worked in New York over the summer and gotten a feel for the city and its atmosphere, Cathal has longed to return and is all too excited to show up and settle himself down in the big city. With a huge love of the arts and theatre, Cathal thinks that being in New York will help further his passion for being on stage, and is excited to immerse himself in the theatre community and get more involved when he arrives in New York. All in all, Cathal has an avid interest in Soccer and likes to keep fit, as well, is eager to get involved in any and all activities where people will have him, and has a slight tendency to flirt. He’s very open about his feelings with those that he’s close to, and not ashamed to point out when he feels as though something is wrong, or to bring up things that are bothering him. And, he’s a Murphy, so he can probably play some sort of instrument, but I have no idea what just yet.
