-an emo kid from the 1930s who again helped save the world and is also a tartarus survivor (TWICE)

-a son of apollo who survived tartarus with nothing but cargo shorts and sheer will (pun intended)

-the main designer and builder for the argo II, also the first hephaestus kid to have fire powers since hundreds of years ago (did i mention killed gaea? no? yeah he did that too)

-a girl who somehow charmspeak-ed gaea into falling back asleep (also side note daughter of super famous actor because why not)

-pretty much everybody is a two-time war veteran

-THE GOD APOLLO who just sometimes comes down to visit in the form of a teenage boy

If I had a dollar for every band originated from a multi-instrumentalist / drummer duo of two best friends, lead by a sad pathetic wet cat piano man who writes the most gut-wrenching lyrics, with lore regarding the aformented frontman's darker side, who also uses black body paint and masks (on ocasion), and incorporates so many genres that made it impossible to properly classify it, I'd have two dollars, which is not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

#Sleep Token 🤝 Twenty One Pilots #with a bunch of religious themes and emphasis on mental health as well #Tyler and Vessel are two sides of the same coin actually. Tyler got the “better at rapping” while Ves got the “better at singing” gifts #both are pretty solid screamers #both play a ridiculous amount of instruments with piano being their main one #josh and ii are ridiculously good drummers #Blurryface is just Vessel (the masked persona) if you think about it #the heights are inverted though. ii and tyler seem about the same height. i think Vessel might be taller than josh but not by a lot #Tøp's lore is so interesting and dark and hella cryptic as well. They're sisters #Someone indulge me in this because I've been trying to get my best friend to listen to sleep token properly but he's being difficult #sleep token #twenty one pilots

hades 2 is extremely funny if you think about it from chronos' perspective. like imagine. for YEARS you've been getting things done your way. you and your army have been holding strong against the olympians, and your son who caused so much trouble before, along with his family, are in your hold and have been since the beginning. you have control of the underworld, and of the house of hades, and you're reaching for olympus, sure that too, will be under your control soon enough

then. SUDDENLY. your captive son's missing daughter turns up out of nowhere. initially, she's no threat. can't even get past her own mentor, most likely. then, she quickly gets stronger. she learns, and the olympians support her unconditionally. she starts tearing through the underworld, escaping every trap you've laid, invading your house which was supposed to be impossible for everyone else except for the daughter of hades who still lives and who escaped your clutches as a mere infant.

suddenly you're left scrambling because this is not according to plan. she's not supposed to be here, nevermind the one person who poses a threat to your progress. she's like half your height and barely a full witch, but still.

#arry plays hades 2 #it's so fucking funny to me #anyways i died to chronos but its so funny being in places he doesn't want you to he #unfortunately he reminds me of early game hades in the first game which i guess is the point #he calls melinoë 'girl' the same way hades called zagreus 'boy'#the only difference is with chronos there's this sort of false politeness #but with hades it was all disdain. he didn't hide his true emotions or intent under this veil like chronos does #he was terrifying for a reason but chronos is terrifying for other reasons #kinda makes you wonder what would have happened if chronos had raised melinoë. it's an interesting concept #especially given that she tends to have pretty black or white opinions on people #and chronos is HELLA manipulative #hades 2 spoilers #<- added that tag since this post is getting found somehow

Caught myself thinking about Ayame's death and made this
