2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

The fact that he's ambidextrous is really really amazing as a character. Not only he wields two weapons but also can constantly switching between right and left handed side in the midst of a battle.

And I be honest, the fact that Monsta keep that movie 1 white hairline glitch as canon is what people called a "Serendipity" or happy accident. Another serendipity glitch in animation media for me is the iconic nose touch scene from httyd 1.

Who knew this bug could become his sole identity? It doesn't lesser his image but it does made 10x better as the result of a genetic mark within generations. Thus it creates "the Butterfly Effect" in designing Amato and adult Tok Aba.

In sense, Oboi become a shonen character since child with that look lol

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

I don't follow much with what happened to Boboiboy's fandom recently, still making me a headache whenever I visit, but I always appreciate when fandom united to correct blatant hoaxs. It's often surprised me.

Oh and memes lol. Screenshot memes whenever new episode arrived is a never not entertaining cus it was usually flooded in my timeline. 🤣

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Since I only made headcanon for elementals, I think it's not fair that the real main protagonist has not yet get his headcanon. My bad :p

Oboi may or may not able to make a clear communication with Amato after all these years and I have two scenarios:

If Tok Aba still alive, Oboi might be more comfortable and more open to Tok Aba about his daily life rather than Amato. He still talks to him, but struggles to keep up a simple conversation from both ways, and eventually Oboi starts to make excuses to end it by "Helping Atok at his shop".

If no. 1 doesn't happens, Oboi might a bit cold to Amato at first. He try so hard to avoid any conversations with him and just focus on continuing the Kokotiam Shop as an escape route.

One of my questions regarding him, "How does he remember every events during split/fusion/3rd tier?" My deduction to this headcannon is this: firstly after he wakes up all memories will be blur due to his dizziness in the aftermath. He might remember some of it but his brain is not yet fully capable to comprehend all of it quickly. Then, all those event will be shown during his sleep. It sometimes disturbing his sleeping schedule and wakes up abruptly in the middle of night from a lucid dream.

Idk why, but between Audio sensory, Visual sensory and Action sensory Learning technique. Oboi is the person who learn and solve problems by practice it in real time. He may not the guy who absorb a quick information, but when he tried to think about it, he implements his thoughts by action such as moving hands or walks around. (I onced very obsessed with psychology especially with self learning types during my high school days but now I forgot most of them lol)

He has a hidden fanatic side of him all over the news as a hero with the evidence of all his photos from movie 1. He might eventually remove them when he gets older. He doesn't want to admit his embarrassment with his obsession publicly lol. (Of course he treasure it somewhere )

I forgot where's the source of it, but I read a post that Oboi once tried to cut his white stroke hair but it grew back. He never knew why but he eventually let it be afterwards. Maybe he wears that hat not only as a gift from his dad but also to cover his white hair? Idk :-\

That's maybe all headcanons I got so far. I guess I'll admit I might need to dig for more Boboiboy magazines and older post of his social media ones. There's still so many trivias that I missed throughout my life. :(

As everyone knows, i infodump about my hc for a darker version of boboiboy

This time, databot, the powersphera of archieved knowledge.

This is sort of a hc + possible future oc

Databot used to travel with a partner to archieve that of information, several theories of information, several sides and views of information.

This partner, lets say, is one that has a long lifespan, a tortoise like alien perhaps, i will call him tortuah, because it seems like monsta likes funny joke names

Tortuah is part of the organisation that runs the arc of information, as he was tasked to record information with the assistance of the at the time, newly built powersphera databot.

Tortuah will dress in but a simple manner, he simply looked like any traveller from afar, he was the one to even go into places where political chaos is oxcuring witht he chance of death to record that of information so it wouldnt be forgotten, a brave journalist in a way, he would also share his knowledge to the people in need, sometimes, the information he does know will plague him at night as terrifying nightmares, but he persisted, anything for the archival of information that may be lost to the hands of time, he continued, databot remained like that of an inncoent child, as he wasnt propgrammed to feel overbeared by the knowledge he stored, he is simply, a very big usb with some sentience. He is basically a character based off the "sometimes, knowledge is a curse", eventually, he did come to perish, whej death finally came to take him, ironically, his name and his identity was lost to time, databot too, vanished, as they lost contact with him, until boboiboy found databot in the old arc, his memory nearly full, maybe his system discarded that of the last memories of him and his old friend, as to make room for more important information to record

BBB Movie 2

I know I’m soo latee XD I’ve watched the movie a long time ago lol I just want to write a bit to loosen up since I’ve not been here for a long timeee

1. Animation was a huge upgrade from the first. And Im loving how they start making the hair movements. What I love is: the bg. It’s so beautiful omgg Like it truly left in awe. If there anything to imrove: the fighting dinamic i guess? Bcause the effect was cool and all but i rlly want to see more movement and fighting sequence. E.g i love petir movement in ep 1 bbbg and fire’s in bbbg ep 10 ( now im having a high expectation for mechamato)

2. Plot was nicely donee. I mean, it was structured well imo where its not too heavy for children but not too silly for adult. One of the thing I love about the franchise is that its still child-friendly and not too angst (although I actually want it to be more angst teehee) But still I noticed that there a few mysteries put in the movie. E.g Tok kasa did not tell them how he knew ochobot and where he get it. I think it will be disscussed in the future. Anything to improve: Im a bit sad that they nerf the adults... I mean those tapops adult members did nothing big in the movie except cameos XD in the future I rlly wish the members would be shown as role models for the kids. Addition: I actually hope the franchise will disscuss more on issues involving children and family but of course in a soft way. E.g when hang kasa and retakka was abandon during childhood. That’s a rlly good scenario actually.

3. Comedy was insanely good XD The comedy in the movie was twice (perhaps triple?) than bbbg and the first movie. Thumbs up to that. But the bad thing is: its too much i guess. I’ve heard a few people commenting about how the comedic act disturb the emotional/intense scene. And Im agreeing to this. Monsta gives us time to cry please. I was triggered how the comedy comes as soon as I was about to cry. I rlly love the comedy and I know bbb is kind of a gag series but i hope there would be more drama or relatable scenario actually hehe

4. Villain: Retakka. His va was good rlly GOOD. Omg I love the way he talks, classic or malays called baku/ formal language. Its good implementation for an ancient villain. Although in the movie it was stated that he collected all those elementals due to greed, I believe there is more to it and i hope it is for character depth purpose. Perhaps there’s a reason why he wants all of the elemental? I mean it could be a reason to lengthen the plot and mysteries of bbb power as well. So far my fave villain is still ejojo. He was hella smart af and memorable villain. And his arc was long too

5. Fusion. Tbh there was a few rumours on new elemnts of bbb and it kind of get me down a bit. Bcause mann give our boy a break. He is becoming too op noww TT but then I accidentally found a spoiler on the fusion and I become more depressed XD i got a spoiler right b4 watching it... nvm although i expected it (ty to spoilers) it still got me excited af. (FF was such a rebel. I LOVE HIM) it was a nice idea i guess. Perhaps they took ideas from washichan lol nevertheless my boy is still too op omg XD tbh this will bcome a problem for their team. When each of them are too excellent individually, won’t it will be hard for them to achieve teamwork? I don’t know i guess its just imo. Aside from that, goshh give the others power upgrade and chara development too! They’ve been sideline for so long. Yaya ying and fang upg was nice but its just for a while... and gopal is still gopal hahahha this actually makes me hope that one day they would go separately and realise more on the importance of friendship and teamwork yadayada in short I crave for chara development and more emotions

6. Credit scene was mindblown. Like WOW. Nobody would not feel hyped after seeing that! After thinking for awhile, it occurs to me that perhaps one of bbb movie 2 motives was to introduce amato identity to attract mechamato audiences. Perhaps that’s why they push through to release the movie nmw i think it was a clever move to keep people’s hype for both of the franchises. Welp but now im SO HYPE on mechamato ( hc want boboiboy to have his mother face lol amato is too cute with those eyess )

Overall it was a fun to watch family movie! My family now has more expectation on local animation. Yeahh SUPPORT ANIMYY i’ll give it 8/10 twinkle twinkle little stars ;D

Boboiboy and his friends are playing. They are in highschool. After a few things, they end up tumbling into a pile. They are laughing as they get up, but it stops when they see what happened. Boboiboy’s hat fell off, the same with Fang’s glasses. Both of them are still grinning at their friends. Relieved, the rest of the gang grins back, while other students stare because holy shit, their hearts just skipped a beat?

Hoookay, these are not entirely ascended and based from personal view:

like I said in one of my analyses here. Halilintar is the first one to know his limit is almost up and desperately fights hard as long as he can. This made a meme about him finally joining the march when he found the rest two. But for me, it's actually his smile is resembles a relief. It didn't show much on Sori but the comic proved that.

I said Taufan before in my character analysis that he is idolizing Halilintar as his role model and I mean it. I have a headcannon that Hali and Taufan might be the only pair that tries to not get into fights even though they still argue over small things.

After movie 2, there's was an unwritten rule that if all of them taken again, always make sure Gempa is safe and away from the chaos. Gempa himself might not know about this at first but eventually, he knows that's the only way for Boboiboy to survive.

Since his 1st tier, Ice usually comes out with Blaze during the split (post above👆) . But after he gets close to Gempa in movie 2. He then tries to be more open with other siblings during the split without Blaze's involvement(like when he fights alongside Taufan and Halilintar during the Windara arc).

There's a headcanon from some people who draw that Duri tried so hard to heal both Solar and Ying while they were unconscious in Boboiboy Sori.

It's not because of Duri's clumsiness that Gempa decided to order a simple task for him. I have a personal wild headcanon that he the least elementals that got a hard time comprehending a piece of information. This anon ask box intrigued me that it could be that the damage he got before Duri's 1st tier showed up, Daun, is also affecting his brain works. All elementals know this, so I guess what Gempa commanded to Duri made sense.

I imagine that Solar also had a similar fear as Hali after that final ep of galaxy season 1 but with a different twist. whereas Solar's fear is using the power more than he should. That Vargoba incident caused Solar to calculate more whenever he used his blasts. Under that pride of intelligence trait, Solar is afraid to do more damage to himself and to everyone else. So denies it with his confidence. (I got inspired by this vid anyway :])

I got a pretty weird headcanon from my youth self that Blaze was a bit arrogant to work with other elementals except ice since, well their origins were from the same planet(even though they still fight). But because of Galaxy season 1, Blaze finds himself more comfortable with others and he's the one who initiates the Troublemaker Trio group(me thinks :/).

Like I've mentioned with Blaze, at first, all elementals didn't remember their own origins and thought that they were just another personality split from the real being. But after Movie 2 and galaxy season 2, They started to realize they were just the power under the new leader. They knew about their past, but they still played their role for Oboi's sake.

I also imagined that the dreamscape of Oboi is his bedroom and Elementals' dreamscape is Tok Aba's Kokotiam Cafe. Oboi didn't know this place existed. But the elementals silently took care of Oboi when Oboi used the split technique. For instance when Oboi uses a dual split of Solar and Duri, the other watches Oboi and also watches the outside perspective from tv footage. You know that tv showed that soap opera drama from the original era season 1 ep 11 part 1? (I got this idea after watching Moon Knight btw ^^)' )

(I'm sure there's a proper scene with displaying where exactly the TV is. But I forgot which episode is it)

For slice-of-life au headcanons... well I got plenty!

Halilintar is unknowingly a hardworking man to his siblings. Yet he also likes to use his "eldest privilage" to command his siblings to help him or just feels like it.

Halilintar somehow unconsciously sounded angry to anyone even when he didn't intend to. This somehow could be misinterpreted by other elementals or even the Kokotaim gang. (Fang tried to be brave but he went stress eating with Carrot Donuts)

Papa Zola in my headcanon is your guidance book when playing the game. Especially when teaching Gopal and the Troublemaker Trio. Sometimes he creates a sudden quiz in the middle of the game and only from that quiz can determine whether they can continue to play the game or not.

Ice is the last person to consult for anything as their final judgment since he "coincidentally" spectated anything chaotic. Especially with the Troublemaker Trio. It's not like he didn't know anything. He just pretends to not know. In fact, his ears were always ready whenever he felt there was a sus conversation nearby. In short, he likes gossip but never comments on it.

Gempa is the best person to consult with. Even the Kokotaim gang was comfortable chatting with him about their problem. You can regularly see Gopal complaining about his never-ending daily problems at Tok Aba's cafe.

If Taufan felt bored, he baked a cake out of nowhere. Even if there's no special occasion on that day, he still prepares some dough just to be ready for future events. It sometimes concerns Tok Aba when he sees his blue grandson still mixing eggs in the middle of the night.

Hali and Solar are commonly the number 1 target of Blaze's pranks. But since Hali's punishment gets in his head sometimes, Blaze is more likely to tease the ruby elementals than prank him. But I have a scenario in which Blaze is the first one to punch back when someone manages to scare Hali. it might be the only time Blaze sees Hali's breakdown in public and never comments on it afterward.

Yaya loves Duri's collection of flora pots and sometimes she likes to ask Duri to borrow some of them for her cookie ingredients. Did Duri question it? Of course not! :D

Fang is the only "sane" person for Solar to hang out with. And also his only partner when fighting against Blaze & Taufan with anything. Even at playing games. "The shiny glasses duo" Blaze remarks.

Again that au list above is subjectively personal based on my experiences. I have 3 sisters. My oldest sister is purely like Hali from birth. Heck, even her personality growth was totally as same as how I saw Hali nowadays. I'm actually scared that I make mistakes every time I work with her. She's so cool and if I could tell one thing from her, she's the real life tsundere character I've ever met.

My second sister is half Taufan and half Gempa. Coincidentally she's a pastry chef and loves to bake. And she always be the number 1 person I could consult.

I myself even though I mentioned similar to Ice, people see me that I was younger than my real age. I can see why somehow ^^'. I have trouble understanding rapid information and I was born with Asperger Spectrum. I see the world as a playground to me but I spent my time all day by myself(sleeping and wandering my phone when I'm not at work). People had a hard time to talk at first, yet when they eventually know me, they said "you act like a kid lmao". So yeah, you could say I'm half Ice and half Duri.

Whereas my little sister is exactly how I picture Solar. She's a perfectionist, a very hard learner on her favorite subject, and really really more mature than me. She knew better than anyone else about adulthood. Sometimes I learn new things every day from her. And the way we banter is somehow like Solar and Duri in Sori. X'D

And most of my friends are usually like Blaze. Even the kids that I teach are how I see him. It's.... Tough I would say hehe😅, but I'm always hate myself when I run out of topics too entertain them. They made my day and I don't want to ruined them.

BBB &Yaya childhood friends hc

So... I recently saw someone speculate something about BBB's white streak of hair (sorry, I don't remember who), and how it relates to something in his childhood. Thus, this was born. I'm working on the proper fic at the moment, but you can enjoy these for now.

(So, Monsta isn't giving up anyone's real names anytime soon to I just gave them names I saw fit.)

Boboiboy is Daniel Harith. I named his mum Dianna, and his dad Harris. As you can see, Boboiboy's name is a mix of theirs. I decided to keep his dad's occupation canon and made him an ambassador just like in the series.

Yaya's real name is Siti Safiyya, while her mum is Wardina (which was inspired by her name Wawa in the series) and her dad is Yahya (since her full name is Ya Ya Yah, I figured the Yah was a shortened version of her father's name).

Yaya at four years old has a very bad temper, and doesn't like change. She doesn't fully wear a headscarf until she's 8, but wears them -albeit a little haphazardly- every once in a while.

She meets Boboiboy when he tagged along with his parents to visit Tok Aba. Sh disliked him at first, but after finding out about how little time he spent with his parents, she vowed to be his very first friend.

Warning. I know very little information from the megazines, comic books, interview, etc. And I’m too lazy to check on it, and I don’t have money to buy those things too. Feel free to correct me if my headcanons had been confirmed wrong (or right, lol) by monsta. Feel free tocorrect my english too.

He’s very good at cooking. He lives all the time in his spaceship, right? Lahap can eat anything (I want to make a pun in Indonesian from this), but Kaizo doesn’t. So he has to cook something for himself. Besides, we’ve seen in episode 10 that cooking is an obligatory capability for TAPOPS, plus he’s a captain. That implies he at least can cook well. Tho I’m still denying the fact Kaizo is a member of TAPOPS, but yeah. Nevermind.

He has a lot of scars on his body. I have written this on my facebook. I make this headcanon after watching the last episode of the original Boboiboy show many times. See that picture in the above? See his right hand, the part of his clothes that’s been torn apart due to his battle with our hero. There’s a scar, right? At first, I thought it was a new scar from Boy’s last attac.  But the directions of his scar and his damaged clothes are different. It could be me overthiking as always, but I thought it was a scar from his previous battle. That implies he has a lot of scars, covered by his jacket. I’m increasingly convinced after seeing the scar on Kaizo’s cheek, made by Boy and his bro, is still there in the latest episode. Which leads to my next headcanon: I know there are some people who has their skin easy to get scars. Maybe Kaizo is one of those people.

I remember someone writes something about Kaizo and Borara has met before. And I remember in the Behind The Scenes of Boboiboy The Movie, I saw a piece of paper with a script on it, something about Borara tells someone about one of his subordinate betrayed him. Borara and his team is the Legendary Power Spheras Hunters, Kaizo is the Legendary Space Rebels. Connecting those three infos, Kaizo was the subordinates which Borara talks about.

Kaizo and Fang are half-brothers, or maybe not related by blood at all. Honestly I don’t really like this hc, but seriously, THEY ARE NOT ALIKE AT ALL, just their hair and the colors of their eyes. I can’t see them as brothers??? I mean can you???

Kaizo never underestimates his enemies. Although he does say that Boy and his friends are too weak and don’t deserve to use power watches from the newest power sphera, he's serious when he attacks them. He loses not because he underestimates them, it’s because he has never seen the technique Boy and Fang use. Well technically he hasn’t lost yet, but yeah.

He likes challenge and challenges himself a lot. To the dangerous thing. He’s addicted to it. This one, actually, is @lumutness‘s headcanon, but I strongly agree with this. This could be another possibility as to why he’s serious when he fights Boy and others.

Kaizo and Lahap are childhood friends. Don’t ask why, I just suddenly thought that days ago.

Kaizo likes cleanliness. He’s the one who taught Fang how to sweep and mop the room. One of many reasons why he allows Fang to join his team is because he can orders Fang to clean the room. Sekali tepuk dua lalat cuy.

This just getting more and more ridiculous. I’m sorry. I have more, actually, but yeah. I’ll stop. Probably.
