Hey, it’s been a while. Today is a special day, isn’t it?

But, well… having slept away whole months while planning my gift and feeling a bit experimental, I ended up making this piece.

By the way, Celinian tradition - no portrait of a god has both eyes. Some say if the second eye is drawn, the god depicted would come to life, break out of the canvas, and the entire piece would have to be remade. (I’m more of a they-have-better-things-to-do believer, but whatever.)

This is inspired by my first shapeshifting lesson with Aluros: “In order to change your form, you need a clear picture in your mind of what exactly you want to turn into.”

To my complete surprise, he asked me to memorize his appearance - even gave me a painting of himself (which is crazy good) for when he wasn’t available. And to prevent me from being stuck looking like him, he also made one of mine. I barely left his apartment for weeks. Spent a whole lotta time sitting at his vanity with two portraits taped to the mirror frame.

I was really focused on trying to have my reflection be a guy with a freckled face, teal-brown eyes, and glowing multicolored hair. Even in my dreams, I was doing it… until I woke up to one of the Princesses (Domino, I think) hissing at me. That’s how I found out it worked. Good thing Aluros had his crown on when he came back to his room to check on me, or it could’ve been worse. Or maybe I was just overreacting.

It was easier turning back into my original face, though, so my “new look” didn’t really last long. But it was long enough to show my shapeshifting teacher I was ready for the next lesson.

Aluros is not at all a boring mentor, and I’d love to tell you more about this journey of mine sometime soon - like how I got my face marks and my fun-filled experiences with the Princesses! But for now, I’m off to bake him a cake. Cya ^^

Happy birthday, sexy bitch boy! (He's a sexy boy~)

Following a steady calm few weeks, the hounds are reunited at the main house where they had prepared a big birthday party for Lucas! Woo!

"Do we have the cake?" Taeyong asks as one of the hounds responds to him.

"Got it this morning from Kun and Chenle." Kai responds as he was working on top of a ladder to put up the last decorations.

"Presents?" Taeyong asks again as he held Minjun in his arms. The small boy happy with his teddy bear his father had gifted him as a support friend.

Figuring as all the hounds wanted to spoil their tall hound friend, they all point to a table full of wrapped presents.

"Oaky, well someone go get Lucas."

Smiling as the birthday boy arrived in a dashing suit, Lucas laughed loudly once he heard one of the hounds turn on Shawn Michael's theme song as he walked in.

"Sexy boy~" They all sing to the birthday boy.

"Thank you, I didn't think my dream birthday would have happened without all of you." Lucas thanks as he bows to everyone that was invited.

I’m so proud of everything you do everyday. When thinking about you I realize how hard you work. You came to Korea to pursue your dreams, not being able to use your language (Cantonese) in your career. You had to simultaneously learn Korean, English, and Mandarin and still do to this day. You’ve juggled the two stressful careers of being a model and an idol at the same time, and you always try to show your best side to us.
