Currently watching: Just finished Toradora!, loved that, I’m watching Ted Lasso sporadically with my husband, and Phineas and Ferb is forever on in the background of my life. I fell asleep last night to What Do It Do?

Currently reading: Just finished Persuasion by Jane Austen and immediately picked up Hexwood by Diana Wynne Jones. After that it’s The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis. I have a personal reading list. It keeps growing every time I near the end.

Current obsession: I have an ongoing fanfic project that no one has seen yet because it started out as just for me, and I can’t stop adding to it in my spare time. Also I’ve been housekeeping/decorating like an insane person lately. For some reason.

Currently Reading: The Curse Of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold, Stiff by Mary Roach, and No Country For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy (audio book) I'm enjoying all of these a lot :]

eagerly, as she had just made a grab for his hand, dee scuttled along, trying to keep up after hater. she had so much to make up for, so much time & rejection to make right. if he hadn’t pulled away, her spiked glove would’ve found its natural heat curling fingers with his, brushing her thumb along his knuckles hungrily for the mere touch of resisted affection.

she had so much to make up for — wait, she thought that already, didn’t she? her free hand trembling, she reached up into the air to form a hand-crafted flower of pure lava rock. it resembled that of a flaking rose, but it was a weak start to trying to apologize. however, scared of his bitterness, she hid it behind herself, hoping lord hater hadn’t seen her whip it up.

maybe she’ll give it to him when he’s calmer — when he’s more open, & trusting.

“ are we safe ? ” piped up once they were aboard his skullship, ears twitching & curling back once realizing her voice was the only of its kind. they hadn’t followed, so perhaps here would be the ideal spot to unwind & unpack years worth of simmering spite & feuding. dee practically felt her heart melt in his presence, especially over the fact he was giving her this slim chance to redeem herself to him.
