Week 4: Workshop - Focus 

This was my attempt at using manual focus and incorporating what inspired me from the artist models I researched this week. Ngahuia Harrison's deep and meaningful photos influenced me, while Hayley Eichenbaum’s use of bright colors and bold elements also played a part. I think I did a good job blending both styles, though Auckland’s lack of brightness meant I had to do some editing in Lightroom to enhance the images.

I wish I had taken more photos, but I tend to delete the ones I don’t like—a habit I need to break. I explored Grafton Bridge and the surrounding areas, which might seem normal to some, but it was new territory for me since I’m not from Auckland.

I won’t be going back there to make sure I’m going to shot in new places for my next projects!
