You probably do a lot of life drawing seeing as how perfectly fluid your art always is so this ask might be redundant lol but,, i was wondering what kind of references you usually use? Do you just google similar poses, does it come from your mind, or do you have a go-to app to look through like pinterest?👉👈 i ask bc I struggle a lot with poses and usually when i look them up i end up drawing nothing bc its not. Ever good enough for me/what im looking for lol still not sure how to even draw characters smoochin, rip
thank you, nonny!! i do a lil bit of life drawing, but man i really do feel the same way you do. while i'm happy to show some art when i get it done, the process can be a real struggle.
sorry this is gonna be long and all over the place lol hope it helps tho:
life drawing good: i recommend ditching the idea of finding the 100% Perfect Ref right off the bat. studying anatomy and life drawing (this site has a range of body types and fun poses) somewhat regularly, therefore growing my mental library so that i can try and make whatever pose is in my head happen later, has been more viable to me than spending hours looking for the Perfect Ref.
drawing a bunch of generic people skating without pressure of creating proper character art is good practice, and it primes me to then come up with a skating pose of my own.
ref hunting: i save pictures i might use as refs regularly in a browser folder - good refs, bad refs, boring refs - losing a ref standard can be helpful because at the end of the day it’s what you make with it, so it doesn’t have to be particularly mind-blowing to begin with. you don’t wanna reinvent the wheel or create the most never-been-done-before pose, you just wanna get a thing right.
pinterest is very good for poses, yes, though you have to know how to look for them - i.e. i found that typing out "dynamic pose" will not yield organic results, as opposed to looking up people in motion like athletes, boxers, skaters and such. for fighting, i recommend using photos or clips from (ideally staged lol) fights, as opposed to stock images where the models are standing for a while posing - the former preserves a lot of the movement. i also recommend looking up group photos from events or shows for interesting natural poses and people interacting.
best hot tip of all tho: what helped me most is to not treat references very religiously. don't be tied down by what's in your ref, or not finding the perfect one, because then you're focusing on accuracy and not necessarily on what you wanna communicate with your drawing. if you can't find what you're looking for in full, just use a part that you find interesting, and then bullshit the rest and revise accordingly.
idea-generating can be very hard but you can practice it like any other skill, because having a decent idea of what you wanna draw is helpful - you don't have to have the whole pose visualised 100%. it's the mood, body language and expressions, that i think are more important. looking at refs can help reveal your ideas and intentions, but i will not create them for you i’m afraid.
for example, speaking on characters smooching, i've drawn these using refs in   pretty uptight way with no ideas beforehand - and i find them painfully boring because they're not rly communicating anything aside from a anatomical accuracy (more or less);
Tumblr media
i was being too intent on staying faithful to the reference, and they're looking kinda stale to me. the only one that was done without any ref, was the bottom left - which i like! bc it's got spice and it’s portraying some emotion.
but i wouldn't have drawn it if i hadn't already started on the others, so maybe another good tip is to trust the process and not give up mid-work!! drawing stuff you’re not proud of is still drawing stuff, and not everything you create is gonna be satisfying. things are gonna click here and there, but you never know when, so don’t give up on your ugly artsy ducklings!!

random riddler headcanons
cannot read the difference between > or <, he uses the "which way is the alligator facing" thing to help him. he keeps this secret very close to him
idk abt you guys but for some reason he always gave me. ace-spec vibes???
on that note he's quoisexual in my eyes. there are,,,question marks on the flag bro,,, it's perfect
that being said he's still DEF homoromantic we all saw that one coming
can't say the words “floor ride in the wyatt tier” in one go
has this unexplained fear of being wrapped up in something, especially arkham straight-jackets (ref to that one throwaway line in young justice lol)
biggest troll bait
80 page long defense plan intro is not fully an intro. it just. trails off into how he hates the batman and how superior he is to him after page 62 (reference to an arkham knight dlc)
the full defense plan is exactly 765 pages
has an official twitter account
adamantly believes cicada 3301 is real. he really wants to join just to feel super smart, but he found out about the whole thing after the organisation/arg/whatever you think it is went silent
when asked how he is, he says “well” to flaunt his correct grammar (although saying good is actually acceptable too lol don't tell him)
has spent WAY too much money on that green luminescent paint. he probably would've been richer than bruce wayne if he just saved it (arkham games again)
has taken either dance or theatre in the past behind his father's back. that's how he so effortlessly makes dramatic speeches, poses, and movements without falling over
would cry if he got a 99% instead of an 100% on a test. partly because 99 is an odd number and i need to self-project though (but also validation i guess 🙄)
can't??? drive???? PLEASE never let him behind the wheel he'll get a diu even while completely sober
hair conditioner before shampoo
he doesn't need a mask, everyone already knows who he is. at this point he just wears it because it feels natural to wear it when he's commiting 💕felonies💕 if not he feels practically nude
nobody knows if it's nygma or nigma and that's his greatest riddle in his eyes
has said or done SO many things solely because he wanted validation or to prove something and is now held up to that expectation all the time it's not fun
somehow rhymes when he's either very euphoric or very angry and he hasn't even noticed he does this
i mean yeah he rhymes with some of his riddles but those are on purpose
he was just. REALLY influenced by those books that are completely full of riddles when he was little. found it collecting dust on a shelf he was finally barely tall enough to reach when he was like 8 and practically brought it everywhere cus it made him feel so cool
speaking of which, serious case of chuunibyou/eighth grade syndrome
instead of just. saying words like "twenty" hell say stuff like "onescore" (hopefully i'm thinking of it right)
for someone who speaks with a lot of question marks he sure does have a lot of exclamation point undertones
doesn't curse just so he doesn't sound lesser. instead he'll try his very hardest to make improvisions that he tries to not make sound stupid
they sound stupid.
you best BET he flaunts whatever hat he has on EVERYWHERE that's his PRIZED possession
when he committed his first riddle crime everyone thought it was an arg
utilises the manipulative kind of word salads to sound intelligent (just wanna emphasise, not the schizophasia kind)
whenever it involves himself, he can't tell when others are joking or not
whenever he walks into the restroom, of course, he stares longingly into the mirror
honestly if there's any mirror he'll examine himself in it, even if not obviously. he needs to make sure he still looks a a a a adorable!!
“riddle me this: cryptocurrency???”

IN SERVICE OF THE REPUBLIC
Art depiction from Where I Belong of my OC CT-1917/Lucky
Sneak peak scene snippet from chapter 13 of Where I Belong below!!
The sound of the nearest set of blast doors opening does little to pull a reaction from Arwen as she feels a presence emerge from the interior of the base and out onto the walkway where she was. She didn’t need much time at all to guess who it was. After that speeder-wreck of a conversation, General Kenobi was the only one who’d likely try to speak with her.
Despite having had almost half an hour to think about the conversation she’d just had with the Jedi Council members, Arwen could feel the anger bubbling back up to the surface. She was angry with them, but even more so with herself for thinking such an arrangement could actually be authentic.
“I don’t mean to interrupt,” General Kenobi announced himself, despite knowing she was aware of his presence already.
Arwen let her eyes shoot to the left as the Jedi came to stand a few feet away from her before he turned to face the view of the Cruiser Staging Area. His aura was relaxed but his tone and posture gave away the most subtle hesitation he was bringing with him. He definitely wanted to say something; he wasn’t just coming for small talk. It’d be awkward if he did.
“I feel that our conversation took something of a wrong turn.”
“Wayii (good grief)- Just spit it out, General.” Corcer turned abruptly, pushing off of the railing her forearms had been rested upon to face the Jedi. His expression was calm, only a slight furrow of his brow indicated his reaction and potential concern or perhaps consideration to her anger bubbling over. “You used me to get what you needed for your investigation. That blasted contract was just a load of fodder-”
“The Council is still deliberating on your greater role, Corcer.” The General responded. “The contract is genuine, I assure you.” He sounded just as genuine however that did little to convince Arwen as she shook her head and looked out over the railing once more, hands grasping the railing tightly.
“You must understand that the Council simply needs time to evaluate and consider the situation.”
“All due respect, what else is there to consider?” She shot daggers over her shoulder before throwing the look ahead of her. “My service record? Jobs I’ve taken as a merc just to get by and survive in the mere months since my team was-” The abruptness of Arwen cutting off her own words had to have caught the Jedi’s attention as he physically shifted where he stood.
“Your team,” He stated the phrase with a casual quietness that made Corcer tense.
“Wer'cuy… Jetiise ke nu suvarir (forget it/it doesn’t matter… Jedi don’t understand).” She muttered under her breath with a shake of her head.
“I beg your pardon?” The question seemed to be one of surprise more than anything.
“A Jedi wouldn’t understand!” Arwen finally barked, not bothering to look towards him. She only kept her gaze ahead, forearms coming to lean back on the railing as she looked down over ledge towards the lower deck where a small airfield was.
After everything; all that had happened. She didn’t know if she had the right to feel insulted or even upset about the position she was in. Granted she did everything in her power on that mission- gave everything she had and intended to give her life if not for the fact that she was somehow still here despite the odds. She gave everything. Herself. Her team- the only family she’d ever known - for the Republic… Was that not enough?
Arwen wished the sound of the ion engines of one of the Republic’s Venator-class cruisers powering up was loud enough to drown out any further conversation that could take place. She felt oddly trapped with this Jedi, despite having plenty of space to move away from him as he stood idly by a few feet away. He was being more civil than she’d like. Mentally trying to stomp out the crumbs of guilt sitting heavy in her stomach at her behavior around this General - a superior - didn’t seem to be working.
He’s done nothing but be genuine so far. She had no reason to be angry with him specifically. But then again he was a Jedi. Jedi didn’t deal with emotions like other people did. They were cold, calculated individuals; weighing life rarely by worth but by majority… unless you were weighing the worth of a Jedi against Clones of course. Then the worth of one outweighed that of the majority. Jedi were just like everyone else… viewing this army like nothing but canon fodder; easily disposable and replaceable. Her team was nothing but numbers on a spreadsheet to them. She could count the number of Jedi she trusted on one hand. That number was even smaller when considering how many she trusted that weren’t already dead.
The Jedi General was quiet in his movements as he came to stand by her side, posture straight as he rested his hands upon the railing and eyed the view before them. Moving his gaze subtly he eyed the mercenary, noting her eyes had fallen and her expression, for a brief moment, appeared more exhausted and broken than any he’d seen in some time.
“The Republic owes you and your team a great debt.” He’d considered the proclamation before coming to find Corcer. It was true after all. He’d read the details on the file; what she, as well as her team, had been a part of; how their actions may have very well saved the Republic just months prior due to the information they’d obtained and kept out of Separatist hands. However, that victory came at a cost.
Arwen shook her head at his words. Whether it was out of denial of his words or something else, Kenobi wasn’t completely sure. He was reluctant to dig deeper into her aura, but wanted to at least attempt, if not to get a better understanding of her.
“Nice payback.” Arwen muttered before crossing her arms over the railing, risking the action of resting her chin down on her forearms. Her back was still tense, and she was ready to act at any time, however this Jedi posed no threat to her. Not at the moment at least.
General Kenobi considered her response before he nodded to himself.
“I understand you feel betrayed, and I apologize for what took place and- has… since taken place.”
Arwen could tell by the split second hesitation at the end of his sentence that he was treading carefully, however she didn’t plan on holding him to his words. She wanted to just knock his statement up to him sweet talking to get her cooperation however she could feel his sincerity. It was clear as day in the air and she couldn’t deny or ignore it.
“I’m sorry about General- Kazar and- Padawan Vorruk… sir,” Her voice lost its confidence rather quickly as soon as she uttered the names. She hadn’t said the names of the Jedi General and Padawan she’d worked with on that last mission since… the mission itself. “I-...” She couldn’t bring herself to continue as her throat tightened and suffocated the words before she could utter them.
I did what I could.
She hadn’t said it out loud, but she knew she didn’t have to.
“I know,” The response didn’t surprise her as much as his tone did. His voice held emotion, despite his professional output. He projected a sense of understanding and mentorship. There was also certainty to his tone.
He must’ve watched the holorecording.
Arwen closed her eyes, brow knitting tightly as she tried to push the images from her mind. She could almost feel the weight of the Jedi padawan in her arms sometimes; when she’d held his half conscious body, clinging to life, while she tried to relay coordinates and need for extraction to the nearest Republic fleet and simultaneously fend off incoming hostiles.
And now the Jedi had the footage of her message.
It angered her that it was memorialized as a recording, but it enraged her that they’d seen it and still saw her as a threat. Like nothing that happened that day held any weight.
A slight shift in the Jedi’s aura caused her to look subtly out of the corner of her eye and she evaluated his posture as it straightened and he cleared his throat quietly.
“I am currently negotiating with the Council to have you ship out with General Skywalker and I.”
Arwen’s brow scrunched together at the Jedi’s words and she pushed off of the railing to stand straight and face the Jedi.
“Sir- the Council said-”
“I am proceeding to try and convince them otherwise.” Kenobi responded, hands coming behind his back as his gaze arched over the view in front of them once more before it returned to her. “I read your file and reviewed your training as well as completed missions. Your skillset will be of the most use in the field. Now, it will take some time before we can have you operating openly if this pans out. But for the time being, I am going to do my best to get the Council’s permission to have you work in the background of any ongoing operations within my battle group.”
Alright… This Jedi isn’t half bad.
Corcer eyed him for a moment, overall uncertainty written in her expression before she swallowed and let out a quiet breath through her nose.
“Thank you, sir.”
I feel like a di'kut now.
The General eyed her quietly for a time before glancing away towards the blast doors down the walkway.
“0700 tomorrow there will be a meeting on standard operating procedures in the east wing for new clones joining the ranks of the 212th. You’re welcome to attend.”
The offer surprised her, however that surprise was quickly overshadowed by solace. Corcer’s hands swung around behind her back subconsciously, posture straight and attentive as she gave the Jedi General a nod.
“I’ll be there, sir.” Arwen’s tone voiced assurance and even confidence.
Giving her a curt nod and a hint of a professional smile, General Kenobi excused himself and turned to head back inside.
Corcer watched him leave and once the blast doors closed behind the Jedi, she found herself mulling over the breath sitting in her chest before she slowly let it out and returned to her spot leaning on the railing.
The sense of reassurance was starting to leave a subtle bitter taste in her mouth. On the surface she felt relief, knowing this Jedi appeared to be coming at her from the right direction; easing her into situations where she’d be surrounded by the troops. However the deeper she sifted through her mind… she was terrified.
How the kark am I gonna fit in with these troopers? I don’t know the first thing about Infantry SOPs.
Then there was the matter of how she would be received. The last thing she wanted was to be on the bad side of these troopers. Then again her very presence was already proving a negative to the 501st troopers as they’ve had to cart her around twice today. If things kept going down the same road, she’d have a difficult time fitting in.
Until she knew exactly what her job would be, if the General could square something away for her, she couldn’t get too comfortable with anything on the base, and especially not with any of the men. That was the only thing she’d need to be sure to do. Don’t let yourself care; don’t get attached. If it’s one thing her past had taught her; it only ends in heartbreak and it leaves you more alone than ever.
Not one of my best arts, but I’ve had it sitting on the shelf for a long time so I figured it was better to share it sooner rather than later. Check the story out if you’re curious for more! Feedback is always appreciated 💕

Hi, This isnt about the butterfly au but i was wondering do you use any apps to draw your art on and if so which ones due you use? also do you have any tips?
Hey there! No worries I'm happy to talk about art in general as well!
I use Procreate (I think currently V5) on a first gen iPadPro to do most of the art and photosh*p cs2 for any edits, or compiling files when my layers overflow. (I'm not gonna lie, that is the major bummer with Procreate, but the app is well priced and I got no complaints about it otherwise.)
As far as art tips, go I wanted to acknowledge that these are tips I would and also do give myself, so it I am not an expert in any of these, but they are cool things to strive for.
1. Find the workflow for what makes sense for you. Not everyone has to do 2 sketches a lineart, flats and render in that order in every single piece. Experiment around, find what works for you, which parts of the process you enjoy, most importantly. I do very clean sketches on top of loose pose puppets and hate lineart. So I usually don't do that, but I get away with it bc I like doing the detailed sketch phase and "line sculpting" so I just go straight to colouring most often. Maybe you don't either, but for you a lineless style would work better. This is also how you can build style very easily!
2. Experiment with programs and find the one that supports your workflow best. I started off with a pen-tablet and PS/Corel painter and that didn't work for me for the longest time - I guess I never had the necessary hand-eye coordination for laptop and pen-tablet setups. Drawing ON the screen however, whoo boy my improvement skyrocketed. So I would urge everyone to look at what they struggle with while making art bc it might not be you, it might be the setup you use. Sure I could have spent a million hours fine tuning my lines to be straight, but I cold have also switched to a program that supports stroke stabilisation, you know? Also look into available shortcuts and pre-sets: the better you know your program the faster you are, the less likely you are to burn yourself out on a piece.
3. Build skills, but let your interests dictate what skills to focus on. Sure practice is key and you need to draw a thing a 1000 times to understand it, but I'm saying you are only going to draw something that many times if you like it. When I was into series that featured many male characters I beefed up on male anatomy; when I was crazy about a live action show I practiced copying the features of real actors; now I am neck deep in fashion refs and drawing different types of fabric. Find your passion and let it drive you! It does make sense to identify shortcomings and get comfortable with art basics like shape, light and colour, but if you don't find a way to apply it it a way that sparks joy, you risk your hobby turning into a chore (so this advice is mainly for hobbyist), so try not to do that and instead focus on eating your "veggies" and "dessert" as well if you can. Do sketches all day if you want, but you will need to face drawing the other eye or that hand on the hip if you want to see eventual improvement.
4. Collect inspiration with a goal in mind. It's fair and well to have endless lists of inspiring art and photography saved in your likes, pinterest or wherever, but it is good to sit down sometimes and examine why you saved a pic. (This is not for direct references btw). Ask yourself what you like about the individual piece and whether what you like about is something that just appeals to you as a beholder or whether that is something you would like to reproduce in your own art? It's actually a huge difference. I am drawn to stylised shapes and bold colours in art, but I like to paint like that? No. On the other hand I like looking at guache paintings and really taking apart how they were painted, bc that is the rendering style i like to push for in my art. It's a good idea to go cross-media in your inspiration: from traditional art to photography to industrial object design, you can find a lot of things to learn from outside your native art medium. If you found something you really like, you can do a master study of it (absolutely fair to share with public domain, classical pieces, if you copy a contemporary artist, do it for the sake of study and don't post it).
5. Don't compare yourself to others. Yes, I know this is the hardest. If you find yourself unhappy with the reception of your art online, it impacting your joy in creating art in the first place, it might be worth taking a step back. That's what I did. I was doing winx doodles for almost a year for myself only before I made this blog, (and this is far from being my first art blog on the internet btw). This may not be the right decision for everyone, but I wanted to say something other than "just don't give up", bc when you are in that spot it feels like utter bulsh*t. Social media has us comparing our skills and success to a million other people every day, and as harsh as it sounds, it's just not worth breaking yourself up over it. There is also no need to monetise every hobby you have and become the absolute best in it, especially when you are young.
So, to sum it up:

So it’s been a while since I posted Gambit’s bio, and I think it’s about time I started posting bios for my other characters, don’t you?
This is Frost the Snow Leopard, and next to Gambit, he’s the character I’m the most proud of out of all the characters I’ve made. He’s also the one I’ve put the most amount of work into when taking into account both the character and everything surrounding him.
But this wasn’t something I did on my own.  Huge, HUGE shoutouts to my best friend @pidgeonspen who not only helped make Frost’s initial design, but also did his redesign, did this entire beautiful ref sheet, helped me figure out a lot of character stuff and of course, helped me with the bio.
Speaking of the bio, let’s get right into it! Everything is below the readmore
Age: 30
Occupation: Self-proclaimed Emperor of Osakiru
Personality: Cold, calculating, driven and authoritative - these are but some of the  words that can describe Frost.
His immaculate ability to inspire both the best and the worst in those around him is drawn from his ambition, his driving ideals of both strength and self, and his sheer intensity.  He is a skilled manipulator, able to easily influence those around him into fighting for his cause using a his natural inclinations towards both strategy and diplomacy.  Frost is a very pragmatic individual, often making decisions based off of what he feels is objectively the “best” for both his country and himself.  He is not someone who angers quickly, nor is he someone who will resort to violence unless he deems it necessary. However, if he feels he needs to, he will use the threat of violence to get his subordinates in line, and more often than not, he will use both fear and violence to subjugate those that dare to resist, justifying it under the guise of a “greater good”
He also possesses a keen insight which allows him to quickly and easily derive information about people, places, and situations that he then uses to his advantage.
Skills: As his name implies, Frost can control ice; he employs his power both offensively and defensively, and to great effect. However, this power does not come freely. The sheer cold he produces takes quite an extensive toll on his body, and  using it for too long can have detrimental - possibly even permanent- effects on his body. because of this , Frost has had to spend most of his life learning to control this power, with him only recently having found a way to do so. While he can now control his power without actively concentrating on it, it still poses a huge risk to him. As a result,  in combat Frost  only uses his powers when he absolutely needs to, instead usually falling back on both his swordsmanship and hand to hand combat skills instead.  Since he has had little to no formal training in either, he’s instead self-taught,  spending hours upon hours studying and training himself, with the end result  being a fighting style he can truly call his own.  When it comes to his swordsmanship, his focus is primarily on quick, precise sword slashes  that dispatch foes quickly . His hand-to-hand style is one that is  heavily counter-focused , taking advantage of  openings with hard-hitting, precise strikes.  When he is forced to use his powers however, he usually channels them through his katana, minimizing the toll his powers take on  his body, and boosting the power and range of his strikes
Hobbies: Training is Frost’s main hobby, and one he takes very seriously. Reading- While Frost places great value on the importance of honing ones’ physical strength, he places just as much importance on the strengthening of ones’ mind, and as such, he is an avid reader. If he is not in his personal dojo, he can often be found in his study, perusing the many books he has acquired via his conquest or otherwise.   While he occasionally dips his toes into the realm of fiction, his preferences lie in the realms of history and philosophy, both spritual and practical.  Mental challenges-  In the same vein as his love of reading, Frost has recently taken to occasionally indulging in mental exercises in an attempt to truly stimulate his mind.  Games such as Sudoku, Shogi, and even Risk are ones he not only enjoys on the rare occasion he gets to play them, but ones he is also extremely good at, since they play to his strengths.  Meditation-  This is less so a hobby and moreso a problem solving technique Frost has found useful.  Whenever he needs to figure out the solution to a complicated issue, he will often sit in silent meditation  to clear his mind so he can come to what he feels is the perfect solution.
Likes: The pursuit of strength, seafood (In particular lobster and salmon), reading, comfortable silence, mental exercises/problem solving of any kind, clothing (Suits and jackets in particular. He gets them custom made), order/control,  sake, and hot baths/saunas (he finds them relaxing)
Dislikes: Disorder, insubordination, cowardice, excessive heat, “talking heads” shows,   sweet foods and drinks, and excessive noise (He can handle it he just dislikes it)
Flaws: Frost’s cold, calculating worldview ultimately leads him to see people less as individuals to be treated with respect and more as tools to be used to reach whatever ends he desires.  While Frost is an excellent strategist, his plans tend to be rather complex in both scope and execution, requiring many moving parts to work in tandem. As a result, his plans can fall apart if exposed to an overly chaotic element, albeit there is usually a slight margin of error there anyways.
Backstory:  From the very start, Frost’s life was marked by constant struggle, in part due to his powers. When his gelid powers began to manifest in his early childhood, Frost needed help to survive - his powers would begin freezing him to death lest his body temperature was regulated. As he lived in poverty, the most viable option came in the form of quite literally boiling water for baths at regular intervals in an attempt to keep him from freezing himself over.  Unfortunately, these powers  had a tendency to attract attention - something his family truly didn’t need nor want, living in squalor among one of the most crime-ridden parts of the country.
Frost’s father himself was a low-ranking thug in the local yakuza, while his mother stayed at home, looking after Frost – and over her shoulder constantly.  Frost’s parents demanded Frost “keep [his] head down and don’t draw attention.”; and for a long time, he did just that. But try as he might to “blend into the background” as his parents wanted, his inability to control his power continually drew attention to him, often leaving him ostracized and sometimes even harassed by his peers. Even his older brother was of no use, instead content to follow in his father’s footsteps and pretend all was well, also desperate not to make a “fuss” as it were, the few times he stood up for the young leopard ultimately making little difference..
Alone, living in absolute filth, burdened with powers he could not control, the young Frost was miserable, and he constantly hoped and prayed that things would change, that he wouldn’t have to live like this, that things would just somehow get better. But those prayers would never be answered, and for a long time it seemed like there was no way out for Frost–until he found it.  One day, while enduring yet another round of harassment from his peers, something in Frost just *snapped*. For the first time in his life, he truly unleashed his power and froze his tormentors solid.  The incident quickly drew unwanted attention, resulting in his father pulling him out of the school to prevent any further mishaps, desperately hoping things would blow over and return to normal.  But they never would, for Frost had learned a very valuable lesson: the power of fear.
The faces of those around him - frozen in fear, their hands trembling, their jaws slackened - desperately backing away from him, in what seemed like pure terror, told him everything he needed to know.  But perhaps almost as telling was his father’s solution to this issue;  instead of trying to figure out how things had gotten to this point, he had simply chosen to keep quiet, too worried about “making a fuss”, perfectly content to let things go on as they always did. And when Frost had finally snapped after years of torment, his father’s solution was to simply hide him away, trying to wait for things to go back to normal.   In fact, when Frost thought about it,  that is what everyone else had done all this time. They were content to simply let things go on as they always had, too worried about causing a fuss or shaking up the “status quo”, too concerned with saving themselves above all else . That is when Frost realized something: if he truly wanted to improve his situation, he would have to be the one to do it; him and no one else.
Yet despite these revelations, Frost was still very much at a loss as to what to do: He knew that he was the only person who could improve his situation, but he was still at a loss as to the how. He knew fear would be an effective tool in reaching those ends, but he was still at a loss as to what those ends even were, much less how he would even use it effectively.  But as fate would have it, he would not find his answers in the present, but the past.  Stuck in his own home with no recourse, Frost stumbled upon a dusty, nearly tattered book on his father’s bookshelf.   The book itself told the tales of great kings and empires gone by, of men turned myth, who were respected, beloved, and most of all, *feared*.  But that alone was not enough to give Frost the direction he needed. It was only when he began to pay attention to the news, to the state of his country, that it all came together. It struck him with a revelation: it wasn’t just his parents or his teachers or the adults around him that were complacent and fearful of change, it was the entire country. The entire country was just as stagnant, squalid, and content to lie in its own filth as the small corner he was forced to call home.  Those in power - the formal Osakiran government, and the Yakuza syndicates that held the leash, were far too weak, too complacent with their comfortable lives to bring the change the country needed. It brought to mind those emperors of old Frost had read about; men who rose to power, uplifting and uniting their people all the while. Not like the privileged cowards who ruled now… and that’s when Frost realized what it would take to salvage both himself and  Osakiru, what separated the historical rulers from the present: strength.  Osakiru would need someone who was truly strong not just in body, but mind and will as well.  And it was then that Frost realized that he and only he could become that man.  He would have to dispose the feeble cowards and take their place at the top, not just for himself, but everyone else.
Frost knew what he had to do now, and he was already training both his mind and body in preparation for the task to come. All he needed was an opportunity, and one such opportunity would soon make itself known.  One day, the syndicate Frost’s father had spent his life working for finally came for him, punishing him for one mistake too many, dumping his fetid corpse onto the street for all to see. All, including Frost and what was left of his family.  His brother, seeing the very clear writing on the wall, decided to flee the country, attempting to take both Frost and his mother with him to safety. But despite the pleading of both his mother and brother, calling his actions “suicide”, Frost would not flee. He knew what he had to do, the image of his father’s corpse only cementing into his mind his mission.  And so they fled, leaving Frost alone, and it was then that Frost, not even an adult yet at the age of 17, pledged himself into the service of the very syndicate that had taken his father’s life, seeing the path to the top through them
Frost began his climb to the top then and there. Despite the many mistakes he made in those formative years, which  showed themselves through bruises, scars, and even a missing finger, Frost pressed on, pushing himself to become the *best*. He trained his body, his mind, his *will* to the point where he could not take any more, yet he kept going, pushing himself to greater and greater heights, modeling himself after the very rulers he had read about all those years ago, all in an effort to be the very image of strength he knew he had to be. His efforts  would not go unnoticed, and within a few years, Frost found himself to be the 2nd in command of the entire syndicate.  But this was not enough, and Frost knew this, and soon enough he struck down the patriarch, and took the entire syndicate for himself, as well as the thing that would come to be Frost’s trademark: his katana.  Though it was merely a talking piece hung on the wall of the patriarch’s office, Frost would make the blade his own, a true extension of himself in every sense of the word.
From here on, Frost would truly begin his conquest of Osakiru and one by one, the other yakuza syndicates fell to Frost, surrendering their power, their influence, and most of all, their resources.  As Frost’s reach grew, so did his numbers, whether it be through assimilating the other syndicates or people joining his ranks of their own volition. Four individuals in particular, all of whom Frost saw untapped potential in and who saw in Frost the key to their own salvation, would come to make up his inner circle, soon to be known as the Black Lotus.
Eventually, the last of the syndicates fell to Frost’s forces. Now, all that was left to do was to overthrow the formal government. At this point, they knew that  Frost was on his way, and that it was too late to stop him; they were outmatched, outplayed, and ultimately overwhelmed.  When his icy blade ripped through the Prime Minister’s chest, spilling crimson onto the steps of Osakiru’s Capitol Building, it marked the final, bloody conclusion of Frost’s 11 year conquest.  No longer would Osakiru be ruled by yakuza thugs or ineffectual Prime Ministers.  Now it would be ruled by an *emperor*, one who would bring Osakiru into a new golden age.
Despite the success of his initial conquest, Frost knew the real work had only just begun; there was no time for celebration, and he quickly got to work imposing his will unto the country. He cleaned the streets,  both figuratively and literally, reorganizing the pathetic OSDF into a true army, and created a new police force to unflinchingly carry out his will and being the emperor’s eyes and ears. He knew that in order to secure his vision, sacrifices would have to be made, and so he quickly consolidated all of Osakiru’s media under a single banner in a bid to suppress any thought of rebellion, and to push his ideology onto the people. Schools suffered the same, their curriculum changed to emphasize nationalistic pride and personal achievement. Every able-bodied adult was put to work under his rule, for the betterment of economy and to aid in building his ideal nation.  Among the first orders of business was renovating the decrepit palace to fit Frost’s vision, a symbol of his immense power and of the dynasties he sought to emulate. He made sure that no matter where you were in Osakiru, his presence was *felt*.  He became at once the most beloved figure in all of Osakiru and the one everyone feared the most.
Two years later, and Frost continues to rule Osakiru with an iron fist, still seeking new ways to develop and strengthen both his country and himself. One of his latest approaches involves seeking new, diplomatic relationships with powerful allies, such as the Kingdom of Acorn and G.U.N., hoping for both an economic partnership and one to strengthen defenses against the likes of Dr. Eggman - the one factor that keeps Frost from expanding Osakiru’s territory. With his sights set southward to Osakiru’s historical rival, Chun-nan, Frost knows it’s simply a matter of time. Eventually, the opportunity will rise, and Frost happens to be a very patient man.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 Review
First match of the night was one that wasn’t announced: Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. Nakamura tried to get in Balor’s head early on, but Balor was having none of it. This was a match of stiff striking, both guys beating the crap out of each other.  Nakamura reminded us of his submission prowess early on in this match, which was really nice to see again. At one point, Nakamura did the sliding german suplex that Taiji Ishimori does, which was cool to see. Nakamura followed it up with a Kinshasa, but Balor got the standing double foot stomp. He went for the Coup de Gras, but Shinsuke dodged it and hit a knee to the back of the head, followed by the Kinshasa for the win.
Grade: B. Decent match here, way to short, but hopefully they will have a rematch with a nice time on it. Shinsuke was the right winner here, that IC championship has been on ice for way too long, so a fresh champion could reinvigorate it. As for Balor, no reason why he can’t get a couple wins and move into the main event scene. Good match to start the show.
Next match on the pre show was Drew Gulak vs. Tony Nese for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Both of them were incredibly vicious right whenthe bell rang, battling on the mat and totally laying into each other with strikes. This crowd was completely on Gulak’s side here, as he is a Philadelphia native, which is always an interesting atmosphere. Early on they started to break out some big moves, such as a huge flying lariat from Gulak off the apron. It looked awesome and painful and it was a great way to get the crowd invested. Another spot saw Nese go for a 450 splash, but missed his target and drove his knee into Gulak’s gut, but only a near fall. Nese then tried to hit the package piledriver, but after a bit of struggling, Gulak hit a brutal powerbomb as a counter, but only a near fall. He then hit the Cyclone crash for the win.
Grade: B-. This match was criminally short, and the two never really found their stride, but it was still pretty good. They condensed what felt like a 10 or 15 minute match into maybe 7 or 8, and we were left with mostly just highspots. Gulak was the right winner here, he should have a long reign. Decent match, but I think we all know that they could do better.
I was shocked to see that the first match of the main card was Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns and the Undertaker, no holds barred. For these guys to be curtain jerking is shocking. After Taker entered the ring, they really milked the fans for every bit of cheering that they can do. For some reason, they all still have to tag in and out, despite there being no disqualifications. They all had a bit of time to shine in the begining of the match, with Taker actually looking pretty good and moving well. By the time Taker and McIntyre squared off, the crowd was nice and warmed up, so they were happy to see this big man fight. They actually overbooked Undertaker’s presence a bit, because everyone from Shane, to the ref, to random people around ringside were running scared of him. Taker even got a hot tag and absolutely wrecked both of his opponents. As Taker was about to give Shane a last ride through a table, Elias ran in from the crowd and nailed Taker in the back with a guitar. Reigns ran over to fight him off, but McIntyre sailed in from off screen with a claymore kick to lay him out. Elias tried to get in more offense on Taker, but Taker grabbed him by the throat, only for McIntyre to nail Taker with another claymore. The heels then set Taker up on a table, and Shane gave him the signature elbow drop through the table. During the spot, Taker cut his shoulder on the table. It was a rough spot, and scary to see Taker take it. They then dragged Taker in to the corner and wedged a trash can in with him for the coast to coast, and he hit it! After he did, Reigns flew in on Elias with a superman punch, only for McIntyre to take him down again. Shane pulled Taker back into the middle for the pin, only for Taker to sit up on him. Shane reacted in a great way, and then ate a chokeslam. Elias then ate a chokeslam of his own. They then had an awesome shot where taker was doing his throat slit, and Mcintyre just slowly stood up behind him. McIntyre was waiting for Taker to turn around into a claymore, but Reigns speared him out of it. Taker then grabbed Shane in for a tombstone and won.
Grade: B+. Even though this isn’t as strong of a B+ as most other matches that I have seen, this was a good match. It started off a bit slow and boring, but there were plenty of big moves and spots in that second half to be a great car crash match. Taker looked great here too, he was in great shape. This was honestly his best real match in years, probably since that Hell in a Cell match with Lesnar in 2015. The squash against John Cena was fun, but this was an actual match. Good stuff to Taker, he really held his own here, and the selling of how scary he was made the match all the more better.
Backstage, Seth and Becky were interviewed about their main event. It was corny, they talked about how they got inspiration from various sight seeing spots in Philly. The ending line was kinda good, but I didn’t need to see this.
Then they gave the first advertisement for Raw Reunion, kinda like a redo of the 25th anniversary episode that tanked so hard. Just a bunch of nostalgia in two weeks. Could be fun.
Then we had The Revival vs. The Usos for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Usos cut their obligatory promo and said nothing. Jey and Dawson started with some fast paced grappling. The Revival immediately retreated when the Usos tried for the first superkicks of the match. The Revival worked Jey over during the match, slowing it down in the way that they always like to do. In one awesome heel spot, when Jey was able to fight back a bit, Wilder distracted the ref while Jey made the tag, which allowed them to continue to work on Jey. Eventually, Jey and Dawson tumbled off the top, and Jey gave Jimmy the hot tag. Even still, Jimmy had next to no offense, because Wilder caught him out of the stink faces with a huge powerbomb for a near fall. Dawson even gave Jey a brainbuster at one point, which I though was banned in WWE, but it got no reaction and a near fall. The Revival then hit a great superplex into a splash from Wilder, but Jimmy broke up the pin with a splash of his own. The Usos then went for a suicide dive, but Wilder tripped up Jimmy on the outside, which then allowed The Revival to give Jey a shatter machine after some misdirection, and retain their championships.
Grade: B-. Pretty good match with a shocking finish. I definitely thought the Usos would win here, since the Revival are on their way out. They had a good match that was slow and meticulous, with the heels constantly limiting the offense of the Usos. It was a lot of good heel work with decent action that was mostly slow. You may like this match more if you are into heel work like that, and while I can appreciate it, it can’t carry a match on its own.
Now, I have never talked about the foreign announcers before, but I have to mention the Hindi announcers. I didn’t understand a word they said, except for at the end, when they posed together with their arms crossed and said “Hindi announcers.” I loved that, I don’t know why, but I did. They totally got themselves over with me.
Then we had Cesaro vs. Aleister Black. This was hard hitting from the second that this match started. They ran circles around the ring, getting in strikes and kicks whenever they could. Cesaro tried to get in Black’s head by mimicing the signature pose, but Black refused to be intimidated. So, Cesaro then tried to counter each of Black’s signature moves, such as pushing him over the top rope when he went for the springboard moonsault. At one point, Black went for a meteroa to a standing Cesaro, but Cesaro actually caught him by the legs, and popped him up for a european uppercut. Throughout the match, Black was focusing on the leg with various kicks and strikes, which later came into play when Cesaro went for another European uppercut and his leg gave out. So, Black put him in a leg bar, only for Cesaro to seemlessly reverse it into a sharpshooter, and then a crossface. Black escaped, and after a bit of a struggle, hit Black Mass for the win.
Grade: B. The match started out really well and had some hard hitting spots, but ultimately fell on a dead crowd. It was still pretty good, but I think I had my hopes up far too much for this. They worked together pretty well, and fans still got a sense of what Black can do. I can’t wait to see where he goes from here, because Black is money, World Championship material. Also nice to see Cesaro in the midcard again, he is also a great singles wrestler.
Backstage, Truth and Carmella were looking around for Drake Maverick, and he asked Alexa Bliss if he was in her dressing room, and although he said yes. Carmella then made them leave. Bliss then gave Nikki Cross one of her T-Shirts, which was all torn up. The Street Profits showed up and sowed some uncertainty in the relationship, saying that Alexa Bliss would become the champion. The women insisted that they would be co-champions, and the Street Profits laughed. Cross then screamed at them for it, and said that she would prove them wrong. As they walked away, Angelo Dawkins said that he wants to party with her.
We went right into that match: Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Cross and Bayley started the match and tore into each other with reckless abandon, but the challengers quickly took advantage and beat Bayley down. Cross and Bliss worked together very well, especially at one point when Bayley fought back when Cross trapped her in the ring skirt, and Bliss gave her a baseball slide to the back of the head to save her partner. At one point, Bayley locked Cross in a leg submission, and then dodged Bliss when she tried to break it up, only for Bayley to then lock Bliss in a crossface in a nice double submission spot. Cross eventually got a tornado DDT to set Bayley up for twisted bliss, but Bayley countered with the knees for the twisted Bliss, and intercepted Cross’s splash with a high knee. She then gave Cross the elbow drop for the win.
Grade: B-. Decent match, nice little story here but nothing too spectacular. I liked the tag team work from Bliss and Cross. Again, I was shocked at the outcome, I thought that we would have Bliss and Cross at Summerslam, but I was happy to see Bayley retain. No turn on Cross at the end of the match either, so that story isn’t done. Honestly, I think that they should go into the Women’s Tag Scene, and actually do something with those belts. Could be a fun story.
Then we had Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley in a Last Man Standing match. Strowman kicked off the match right away by throwing Lashley out of the ring and throwing him around ringside. As Strowman went for his shoulder tackle at ringside, but Lashley countered with a spear, hurting Strowman’s midsection early on. Lashley then took the fight into the crowd, battering Braun with a chair and targeting the ribs. The two fought into the concessions area, and Strowman gave Lashley a suplex into a wall of merchandise. As the two fought back towards the ring, Lashley was able to give Strowman a spear through the barricade, but both men still got back up. Lashley then mimicked Strowman’s shoulder tackle at ringside and tackled him over the German announce desk, dumping it on him afterwards. Strowman retreated into the crowd, and Lashley jumped the barricade to follow him, only for Strowman to take that momentum and throw him into the international announce desks. The two continued to battle into the stands, over an entrance. Braun then opened up a gate, and gave Lashley a powerslam into some production crates. As the ref was counting, we just had a shot of the side of the crate, and around Seven, Strowman burst out of the side of it, and won the match as Lashley stayed down.
Grade: C+. This match was very slow, and the high spots were not nearly high enough to get a good grade. Their brawl in the stands and the finish did elevate the match, but still not enough to be positive. The crowd was really into it though, so good on them. Of course Braun should have won here, and it is making me feel like he and Seth may have a match for Summerslam, or maybe him and Bray. A big win like this should translate into a big Summerslam match, but lets see what happens.
After that we had a quick interview with AJ Styles, nothing really of note was said. Fun to see him as a heel though, he is very imposing.
Into the tag division, we had New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) vs. Heavy Machinery vs. The Planet’s tag team champions. Woods and Daniel Bryan started the match, putting on a fast paced match with lots of strikes. Tucker quickly tagged himself in, showing a bit of his prowess, before Rowan quickly tagged himself in and yanked Tucker out of the ring.  The heels worked over Woods, with Bryan yelling “Oh right its no DQ,” and raking away at the eyes. At one point, Heavy Machinery took on Big E, with Otis having him up for a vertical suplex, and Tucker giving a splash for the assist. Rowan later knocked poor Woods out of the ring, giving him a brutal splash, and then holding him up for a flying knee from Bryan. Big E then gave Bryan a spear through the ropes, followed by Otis faking a suicide dive, and instead hitting a splash off the apron. Tucker then nailed everyone with a splash on the outside. They dragged Big E back into the ring for the compactor, but Xavier woods broke it up. They gave Woods a double slam, and then fought off Rowan a bit. They then had Rowan in a double superplex position, and Big E completed the tower of doom. Rowan held on, so BIg E powerbombed both of Heavy Machinery as Bryan made the blind tag. Big E then gave Rowan a superplex, but Bryan flew off the top with a flying headbutt and locked in the Lebell lock. Bryan then tied Big E up as he tried to get to the ropes, eventually letting go because Big E was too much to handle. He lit Big E up with strikes, and Big he got quite into it, begging him for more. He then caught Bryans strike and whipped him into the corner. Bryan did his flip out of the corner, only for Big E to catch him, and with Woods, hit the midnight hour for the win.
Grade: B+. Another really good match from the Smackdown tag division. There was a lot of good action here, Striking from bryan, comedy and hoss fighting with Heavy Machinery, and some babyface action from New Day. It was fast paced and there was a lot of fun here. I really liked it. I thought that Heavy Machinery would win here, but I am happy for the New Day to get to hold all the gold. Match of the night right here.
The New Day were about to be interviewed, when Paul Heyman ran by and grabbed the mic. He talked about Brock a bit, before putting himself over as a Philadelphia boy and an ECW man, and said that Brock would be cashing in tonight. He then made it ambiguous as to whether or not he was telling the truth, and walked out. I’m not gonna grade this because it was a short promo, but it was interesting. I know he has been doing this kind of thing on TV, but I haven’t been watching TV, so it was fresh for me.
Up next was AJ Styles vs. Ricochet for the United States Championship. As Ricochet did his entrance, he did his little flip and the Good Brothers attacked right as he landed. Ricochet looked pissed, but was still willing to fight. The two started to fight, and The Good Brothers were constantly chirping on the outside and causing distractions. An example was when Ricochet had Styles on the outside, but Gallows and Anderson were right up in his face, allowing Styles to take control back. After Ricochet started to get some momentum going, he climbed up to the top rope and gave Gallows and Anderson a dive to the outside. The two men continued to go back and forth in the middle of the ring. At one point, Ricochet went for a slingshot DDT, but AJ countered it into a snap vertical suplex into the corner, hanging Ricochet up a bit. The two continued to trade strikes and even dueled to get a brainbuster, with Styles able to connect with it. The two then battled on the top rope, with Ricochet hanging Styles up on the top rope and then a springboards shooting star press. AJ was about to lose, but he had his foot under the ropes, which Anderson happily pointed that out. Anderson then charged Ricochet on the apron, and got taken out. Ricochet went up for the 630 as the ref checked on Anderson, allowing Gallows to trip him up. AJ then hit the Style Clash from the second rope for the win.
Grade: B. Good match, but they weren’t going all out yet. They were working a bit slower to make time for the interference spots. AJ winning makes sense with his new stable. Ricochet chasing for a while is definitely not a bad thing. I hope that this is not our last time seeing this, because I think that they could put on a match of the year.
Then we had Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens. They did their entrances, and they yelled at each other about who’s time it was. Ziggler slapped Owens, and Owens nailed the stunner for the win. He then grabbed a mic, and shot on Shane McMahon. He said that he stands by what he said on smackdown. He was shocked that he wasn’t fired on the way in, and thanks the Undertaker for saving his job. He then told Shane to kiss his ass and go to hell.
Grade: C-. Meh, a shocking finish and a neutered version of his smackdown promo. Not much here, but it was exciting. But not exciting enough.
Then we had Samoa Joe vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. He cut a quick promo being menacing, and then came out to the ring. Kofi started the match with a huge dropkick, and Joe responded with a huge lariat. The beginning of the match was showing Joe’s dominance. They gave Kofi bits and pieces of a comeback, only for Joe to put him the hell down with a huge strike of his own. Joe went as far as working over Kingston’s middle finger, making the announcers and crowd cringe and showing some good psychology and storytelling. They continued to go back and forth, and one point, Kofi went for the Trouble in Paradise, but Joe grabbed him in a Coquina clutch. He turned the submission into a uranagi and then a senton. Joe tried for it again, but Kofi dodged it and hit trouble in paradise for the win.
Grade: C+. This match never really hit its stride. They told a really good story of Joe’s dominance, but we already knew that. And Kofi’s win at the end really felt out of nowhere, as his comeback was far too understated. Just an unfortunate brand of storytelling.
And in the main event, we have Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch vs. Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans in an Extreme Rules Last Chance Winner Take All match. The match started off kinda like you’d expect, until Corbin introduced a kendo stick. Lacey tried hit Rollins with a Kendo stick, but he caught it. Lacey then hit on him a bit and got all cozy, so Lynch whalloped her in the head with a Kendo stick of her own. The faces then beat down the heels with the kendo sticks, before hitting a flying elbow and a suicide dive in stereo. Rollins then tried for another suicide dive, but Corbin blocked it with a chair. He then beat down Rollins with a couple chairs. Rollins fought back by countering Corbin’s offense, and tagged in Becky, who layed into Lacey brutally with a chair, ending it with a bulldog on a chair. Lynch was going to give Evans a move off the top, but Corbin pulled her away. So, Rollins came in with a flying knee, and then tossed Corbin a chair, which Lynch missile dropkicked into his face. Rollins and Lynch took a really really long time to set up a pair of tables while Evans and Corbin were on the ground. The heels fought back into the match, and they punished Rollins in the ring with Kendo sticks, leaving Lynch on the outside.  Lynch tried to get the assist, but was met with stereo chokeslams for a near fall. The faces fought back and gave the heels a double suplex onto the ramp, and then put them on the tables that were set up. Lynch gave Evans a leg drop through the table, while Rollins gave Corbin a huge frog splash through another. Rollins then pulled Corbin back into the ring and went for the curb stomp, but Corbin countered with a powerbomb, and then popped him back up into a deep 6, but Lynch broke up the pin. Lacey tried to get the pin, but Lynch through her back out, only to walk into an End of Days from Corbin. Rollins was so pissed that he destroyed a kendo stick and a chair over his back, and drilled him with three curb stomps before pinning him.
After the match, Brock Lesnar walked out to cash in, with Lynch still lying on the outside. Lesnar gave Rollins a couple German suplexes, and then cashed in. he gave Rollins an F5 and won the championship.
Grade: C. Kinda fun at times, but this kind of match can suck sometimes because of the no hitting girls rule. I’m glad that Lynch ate an end of days, he got a lot of heat. But it was just a kinda awkward little fact that they had to work around. But it was brutal at times, and I liked both the finishing sequence, and then the cash in as well. This was as good a time as any, and if they were gonna do it on Seth, this was the time. But still not a very good match.
Overall Grade: B-
Pros: IC championship; no holds barred tag; cesaro vs. black; triple threat tag; US championship match
Cons: crowd died over the course of the night; owens vs. ziggler; main event; nothing that really tore the house down

The scriptures. May God bless the reading of His holy word.
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 24:36-41
This ends today’s reading from God's holy word. Thanks be to God.
The Lord desires that His people have an attitude of servitude. Anyone who reads the scriptures and seeks the will of their Master knows this.
As Christians, we find our main identity in Jesus Christ and therefore we are to be Christ-like in the way that we live. And if we can say one thing about the life of our Savior, it was all about selflessly giving Himself up to make a difference in the life of another. The dictionary defines a “servant” as “a person in the service of another” and Jesus was the perfect example of this as He never ceased to place Himself second as He served His Father God and the people He sent His Son to save.
The life of Jesus showed us what a truly faithful servant looks like and as we turn to our scripture passage, we find our Savior speaking with a special authority on the matter of servitude as He spoke with His followers. Look again at His words here:
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 24:36-41
Note here that Jesus gives a sharp contrast between a wise and faithful servant who conscientiously carries out his duties as given by His Master and a wicked servant who chooses to follow His own will, particularly when the Master is away and unable to observe what’s going on.
First, Jesus presents the faithful and wise servant. This servant is the go-to person for the master who trusts the servant by placing him in charge of the other servants in the household. The servant is to supervise and care for the master’s servants, making sure they are fed at the proper time and it’s very obvious the master is concerned for his servants and their well being. Yes, they were completely subordinate to him and he expected them to labor hard but he also made sure their most basic, fundamental needs were met.
What if the master had to go away?
Well, it was in those times that the master left matters in the hands of his faithful and wise servant who was expected to carry on with the same level of supervision and care for the other servants. In other words, the wise and faithful servant carried out his duties in the same way, whether the master was present or absent. When he would do this, particularly when the servant had to be away, notice how the master would respond to the wise and faithful servant meeting his expectations of service. The master would reward his head servant by placing him in charge of all his possessions.
Think about what happened after Jesus has done everything God required of Him. He had perfectly served His Father and all His people, willingly bearing the sins of mankind and dying a criminal’s death on Calvary’s cross. But then, God resurrected His Son from the dead before rewarding Him for His wise and faithful servitude. We read a resurrected Christ saying this at the beginning of the Great Commission, a call to servitude from the only perfect Servant ever.
What did Jesus say?
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18
Jesus sacrificed greatly, distanced from His Father as He came down from the heavens to walk the earth and save those within it. He faithfully carried out God’s plan and in return, God placed Him in charge of everything.
Now, compare this to the wicked servant Jesus paints a picture of.
This servant takes advantage of the absence of his master by shirking his duties, beating his fellow servants instead of nurturing them, eating and carousing with drunks vice focusing on doing right even when his master wasn’t there to keep an eye on him.
Note the fate of this wicked servant when the master returns unexpectedly to find him failing to carry out his responsibilities. Instead of praise and reward, the wicked servant receives condemnation and punishment, cast out to fend for himself with others who were two-faced and deceitful. Taking advantage of what was a very good situation, the wicked servant now found himself where there was great “weeping and gnashing of teeth”.
The point Jesus is making is clear.
The wise, faithful servant is loyal to his master and selflessly carries out the will of that master, no matter what, even when the master is absent. The master never has to worry about going away because he knows things will be in good hands with his wise and faithful servant.
Conversely, the wicked servant’s main focus is on their own will. Sure, they know how to put on a good show when the master is near but let the master go away and the wicked servant shifts his focus to the things that satisfy themselves. The dependability they let their master see is just a ruse, a cover up for their desires to do anything but what the master wants them to do. Their hearts are grounded in disguised disobedience.
With this, our scriptures pose several questions today.
First, which kind of servant are you in your life? Would the Lord consider you wise and faithful or counted among the hypocritical, wicked servants?
The answer for each of us can be derived from how well we carry out the will of our Master God each and every day.
If we truly follow the lead of Jesus, we can be assured we’ll always carry out God’s will properly, and live in the light of His favor as a result.
Amen.
In Christ,
Mark

Burningwhite - PSA
Hey! LunarLilac here from DA sharing this journal with some updates!~
This is a PSA to beware the person known as @/Burningwhite on DA also known as MunkWhite on Discord/Skype and Shire on FA. They may go by other names as well, but these are the ones I know of.  I implore all of you to share this journal! Post it everywhere, DA, Tumblr, FA, Facebook, on everything you’re on! Save others from going through the same thing and protect your fellow artists! ————————————————————————————————– Update 9/3/2017: Linking whites accounts that I know of for people to block~ Toyhouse - toyhou.se/Burningwhite and toyhou.se/Input Furaffinity - www.furaffinity.net/user/shiir… and www.furaffinity.net/user/burni… and www.furaffinity.net/user/degil… ————————————————————————————————– Warning 9/5/2017: Unfortunately I have to mention this. Any comments regarding the LGBTQ community will be hidden. That is not the point of this post just because it is mentioned that White is trans doesn’t make all trans people bad. Please keep all commented related to White’s actions (not her sexuality/identity of what she identifies as), what they’ve done to you and the degil species. You are entitled to your own opinion, but as I stated, White being trans is NOT the main point of this journal.  ————————————————————————————————– Update 9/8/2017: So if any of you have been checking degils or looking at my gallery and may have noticed I tried to revoke the Sunset Tiger mascot design from degils. Turns out I cannot legally revoke this design since White now owns the copyright and will not relinquish it back to me, but I’ve just learned something else. White seems to be trying to find “sleazy loopholes” to revoke designs from people.  I have blacked out the name of the person I spoke with about legal rights of my design and revoking it as I do not wish to cause any drama for them. I am assuming the person they’re talking about is @/Roiell-arts also known as Zena because white has been trying to get their Roiell character ever since Zena left the degil species and took the design with them.  Roiell also has a small psa on white -
Tumblr media
PSADA/FA user Burnignwhite/Shirree and any alt accounts. White has tried to blackmail Zena out of 150$ to allow them to keep their own character and so White would back off from taking that character. She did not “sell” Roiell to Zena since Roiell was already Zena’s. She blackmailed 150$ out of Zena to make her leave Zena alone. White manipulated another user into taking the 150$ from Zena into their paypal as white did not want Zena having her paypal. This money was later returned by the 3rd party user and white turned around saying that user “scammed” them out of the 150$ - sta.sh/2mlosaz22ki However no sooner after telling me that she left Roiell alone she turns around and tells me she wants to stress Zena out more. White was giving them trouble before for no reason just because she wanted to get a character (Vesta) back from them -   ————————————————————————————————– I will not be taking down this journal regardless of what they say even if they post on this journal or have their friends post on here.  For those of you who care about pronouns please let me state now that White never told me whether them to call me he/she/they/it. Therefore you may notice I tend to call White “him/he” more than anything as that is just my default pronoun and I truly apologize if this offends those of you who care about pronouns.  White has caused a lot of people grief and stress, including myself. Earlier this year White had asked me to make a base for the @/Degil-Hollow group after I had entered a mascot contest for the group. I had agreed to try making a base, however they never discussed payment for this. They had later also asked me to do the trait sheets to which would be asked as compensation for backing out of the base, trait sheets, and most of all their Shara commission. White had asked for all of these things to be done in 1 month and every time I tried to do them they were pushed to the back burner and he asked me to do something else be it his shara ref or a piece of gift art.  This is the commission of Shara he asked for -  This is not all of it, it is missing the nsfw portion on it as I am still a minor and I didn’t want to draw those pieces. When I am 18 those sketches will be posted to my FA. I was offered a single character as payment for this whole ref. Some things on there were not agreed to when he first asked for it such as the 3 outfits. During the process of the sketch which White constantly had me stream to him, he was extremely picky about every little detail passed the point of frustration. When I had asked for more payment I was thrown low quality adopts as “payment” to pick from. When I said no to those they showed me the two characters of theirs I liked and told me I could have them on the terms that I - 1. Don’t make gore art of them. 2. If the “friendship” between white and I broke off the character would be returned to them. and 3. Any ships the character was in with whites characters had to stay the same. I declined those terms as I do not think its fair that I would have to return a character over a friendship. White would be making off with a free reference of his char pretty much while I had lost the “payment” I would’ve gotten for that reference.  Now before I go on let me say that White is a minor, they are only 16 years old. They have been commissioning NSFW stuff from other artists and asking other minors to do gift art of nsfw things even if they decline it. This can get people into trouble as it is illegal to sell NSFW things to minors. White had also guilt tripped a piece of gift art out of me.  There are 4 different versions to this gift art. The two shown above are the SFW versions, the other two are the same ones above except with nipples on the art. There was only supposed to be 1 version of this piece of art and White forced me to make 3 other versions, one without the halo I had put on it and then two others with nipples on the first two versions.  White also had me design their kobalt creature for them for their animation class which I tried colors I wanted to test on them that White hated so he went with different colors. I later used those colors on one of my characters in slightly different hues and White forced me to change them calling it a ripoff of his kobalt and that he’d see it as his character because it was basically one of his “old” designs from the designing process of his character. On top of all of this, White had been trying to get between me and my current boyfriend of 2 years. At the time I had known White only a few weeks if maybe a month and he claimed to have loved me. He tried to force me into a poly relationship with him to which I did not agree to. He then told me he was trans (male to female) and wanted me to be bi-curious/lesbian for him when I told him many times I was straight. His response to me being straight was “a noodle is only straight until its wet.” When that did not work White constantly complained about my boyfriend and tried to find ways to make me break up with him, even trying to force me to split my time by giving White 50 percent of my time and my boyfriend 50 percent of my time. He demanded movies every Fridays, calls every night before he went to bed at 2-4am my time and wanted me to spend every single evening with him talking about art, degils, fluff, and his characters.  He tried to get me to teach him art, but most of the time he just sat there crying about not knowing how to do the sketch and didn’t even bother trying to do it. He later blamed me for the reason he couldn’t draw.  This is the proof for everything above - sta.sh/2daftob1pj4?edit=1 Soon after this I had blocked White for the first time on Skype, White then contacted me on DA crying that they missed me and wanted a second chance. He begged to try to regain my trust back on DA.  So I decided to give them a second chance. It took something drastic to make them lay off a little.  They had recently opened up designer applications in their degil species and I decided to try it out, but I found out that was the worst choice I’ve made. On all the designs I’ve made so far from their species they constantly complained about the nose being wrong and they forced me to change themes on their whims because they thought a certain pose looked more like this theme. They were constantly making me do the designs to what they liked, they have a bias against leopard/cheetah spots and hate the color black so they tried to force me not to use either of those things. On the egyptian blues, I had put snow leopard spots, I was forced to remove them because White hates spots and believes they are overused and has told me they’re not allowed on degil designs, however this would mean requiring all previous degil designs to remove any type of spots they have. During the sweltering fire designing process white had forced me to change its pose from a rainbow theme to a fire theme, when I said I was going to do a black base he claimed there had been too many black bases recently as to why I couldn’t use the color black at all on the design, but when I looked there was only 1. He had approved the fire I had on the hooves and when it was finished he changed his mind and forced me to remove it and fought with me about the color of the fire being green. When I told him the green fire did not match the design he went on to complain about the silk color being ugly since it was black and constantly nagged “what about the silk?” until I changed it.  According to white he thinks designers do whatever the owner tells them, when they tell them to do it and it has to be exactly their way down to every detail meaning that designers don’t really get to pick anything about the design. The designers aren’t even considered staff to him.  I had asked White to remove me from designer as I was tired of the drama and instead he cried about being stressed as to why he does everything he does (he uses this stress excuse for every single thing). He then turned me over to the co-founder to tell her what was going on and she understood completely. All white had to say to me was “please don’t leave, think about staying, you’re the only designer I have!” The other designer White had in the group was not making any designs, hence why I was the only designer. White refused to remove them from their designer status for whatever reason despite both me and the co-founder telling him to get rid of them if they’re not doing their job. The degil species will die with White so long as he is owner. White’s co-founder was the one doing everything in the group and once she is gone he will be lost with how to run the group. A few of us have been telling White to step down from owning degils as they can’t run the group properly and don’t treat their staff nor members with the respect he demands from us. White refuses to give up degils and claim they will either succeed with them or die with them. White currently claims to be trying to change within 3 months and will probably claim that this is ruining his reputation even more that he says hes trying to “fix” right now.  This is the proof from this recent bit - sta.sh/23dve9jh2lx?edit=1 I apologize for how long this journal is. Those of you who have had dealings with White are welcome to share your proof in the comments, but for those of you who have yet to deal with White let this be a warning to you as this is what may happen to you.

Introducing The New Lange 1 Time Zone Watches With Caliber L 141.1
BY HARLAN CHAPMAN-GREEN
Last year I received an email from A. Lange & Söhne who were looking for someone to oversee their new project which was to revitalise my favourite watch from their repertoire, the Lange 1 Timezone. Knowing that it was my favourite, they naturally came to me for approval of their new designs, the best of the bunch is what you see before you. That didn’t actually happen, but it would be nice if it did. Still, the Lange 1 Timezone is my favourite of their model collection. I got to try it on once at my first tour of their manufacture, and it fitted my wrist perfectly.
In my opinion, there was nothing wrong with the watch as it was, but the folks at A. Lange & Söhne clearly thought it was time for an upgrade. At first glance, you may think that almost nothing has changed, and you’d be mostly right. Very little seems to have moved on the dial, but when you look more closely, you can see the changes.
To add some context to the most notable difference, let’s recap on how this watch functions. This watch is not a world timer like Patek Philippe’s 5231 or Chopard’s L.U.C Time Traveler One. A world timer can show you the time in 24 different timezones at once if you know how to read it. A. Lange & Söhne’s Lange 1 Timezone is a dual timer, and it’ll show you two timezones only, the second timezone can be selected via the chapter ring inside the bezel which moves forward with the push of a button. This, in some ways, makes it more similar to Breguet’s Classique Hora Mundi, which also uses a city ring to advance the time. The difference there, though, is that the Hora Mundi shows one timezone and uses a pusher switch back and forth between home and away time, meanwhile, the Lange 1 Timezone shows both timezones simultaneously.
The Lange 1 Timezone stays true to the Lange 1 design ethos by separating the functions across the dial, well, nearly all of them. The home and local timezones have an independent hour and minute display which have been set as two dials of different size. On the Lange 1 Timezone, the pusher at 8 o’clock advances the city ring forwards, and in doing so also advances the hour hand on the smaller time dial, while the larger one remains unaffected. Both dials have a day/night indicator, which on the old model was a hand that slowly rotated. Now, the day/night indicators have been incorporated into the time dials and makeup two circular disks with a blue mark printed on them.
The day/night indicators now rely on the hour hand of the time dial to indicate whether it is, in fact, day or night, which posed a problem. The hour hand makes two rotations in 24 hours, so it would indicate that it was night time twice in one 24 hour period. To solve this, the day/night indicator rings also rotate, they perform one rotation in 24 hours, which means that when the hour hand has only completed one rotation of the dial, the blue night-time segment is out of the way. It’s a little hard to describe in writing, and I imagine a video of some sort would clear up any doubts.
This is not the only innovation on the new Lange 1 Timezone. It now has a clever display that’s been integrated into the arrow used to point at the city ring, which can be found in the away-time dial. If the marker in the arrow turns red, then it means that the city selected on the city ring has a daylight saving time regime in place which you will need to adjust it for, depending on the time of year. If the marker remains white, then the city’s time remains the same all year round. Note that the watch itself cannot adjust for daylight saving time; you will need to change it yourself, which is easy to do via the crown.
The crown is rather intelligent and can perform a few different functions depending on how you interact with it. In its normal position sat flush against the case it winds the mainspring, the display for which can be seen below the Outsize date. Adjusting the time for the larger time dial is also synchronised to the smaller time dial, meaning that as you change the minutes and hours in the large dial, the small dial follows suit. This is useful for someone with OCD who likes to keep things neat, or, more likely, for someone who isn’t travelling anywhere and doesn’t need to time another timezone.
However, that’s not all the crown can do. If, for example, you’re staying in another timezone for a while, you can swap the times displayed on the dials, so the local time uses the larger time dial. This feature, taken from the outgoing Lange 1 Timezone, relies on the crown being pulled out to the second position, which is where you set the time. In this position, depressing the pusher at 8 o’clock will hold the hour hand of the second timezone in place, allowing you to set the time of the larger dial independently. The pusher at 10 o’clock will enable you to advance the Outsize date if you need to.
The movement inside the watch is all-new. It retains the 72-hour power reserve of the outgoing model, but now only uses one mainspring to achieve this. Also, the hairspring of the balance wheel is now crafted in-house by A. Lange & Söhne, a technical achievement gained only by developing new models (since the launch of the previous calibre L901 base, A.Lange & Söhne has developed 65 new calibres, an impressive feat).
The movement in this watch is the calibre L141.1, and it has all the decoration you could dream of, as we’ve come to know A. Lange & Söhne for. The movement is crafted from untreated German silver, which will develop a lovely patina over time. There are 448 parts to this movement, as well as 38 jewels and three polished gold chatons which are a classier way of holding jewels in place. The watch doesn’t have a free-sprung balance as we saw in my Fortnight Review of the Odysseus, but the screw balance does still have some shock resistance built-in. The balance wheel oscillates at 3Hz or 21,600vph. The movement measures 34.1mm (15.12 lignes) in diameter and 6.7mm in thickness. Overall, the case measures in at 41.9mm in diameter and 10.9mm in thickness.
The watch is releasing in three versions, one of which is a boutique-only edition. You can get it in pink gold with a silver argenté dial (ref. 136.032), white gold with a black dial (before it was rhodium (ref. 136.029)) or the boutique exclusive limited-to-100-examples edition in yellow gold with a solid silver champagne-coloured dial (ref. 136.021).
The pricing for these models is as follows:
Ref 136.029 and 136.032 will cost £44,100, €49,200, CHF 50,100 or $52,900The boutique-exclusive ref 136.021 costs slightly more, and is priced at £46,800, €52,200, CHF 53,200 or $56,100.

On the Road to Fitness
For the past two years, I’ve uttered, “I’m going to do a bikini comp someday.”
It’s something I keep saying and saying and saying. It’s a pipe dream, if you will. Something I look forward to in some foggy, near, but still distant future. It’s just out of my reach and scope of possibility, or at least, it was. With my surgery in March fully in mind, I’ve been obsessing over when I can get back in the gym following the procedure. A little extra legwork and research was accomplished. I talked with past competitors, coaches, and read up on upcoming competitions until my eyes fell out.
Among the several avenues available to one looking to have their level of physical fitness judged in front of hundreds, maybe thousands of people, there are plenty of different leagues to choose from based on my location.
Such as: -NPC (National Physique Committee)
-NANBF (North American Natural Bodybuilding Federation)
-WBFF (World Beauty Fitness and Fashion)
-FAP (Fitness America/ Muscle Mania)
-Honorable Mention: My local breastaurant, Twin Peaks, also apparently has a “bikini competition.” Who knew!? {Insert canned laughter here.}
Tumblr media
What is the best choice?  And why?
Presumably, any of them would do, right?
For me, it was a matter of timing, availability, and ease of access. NPC seemed to have more frequent events in my city and allowed for amateurs to compete on a more than semi-regular basis. NANBF was a bit intermittent in terms of when they seemed to be nearby, and WBFF is less focused on fitness, from what I could gather. NANBF is still an option, but I have a slight lean toward NPC.
How to enter:
To become accepted into the NPC fitness community, one must fill out a registration form and fork over $125 as a registration fee. Not only does it give you access to entering shows, but they also include membership discounts on their partnered supplements and products. As you might have guessed, yes, it’s GNC.
NPC registration:
http://npcnewsonline.com/join-the-npc/
Tumblr media
As far as my backup, NANBF, has a $75 registration fee.
http://nanbf.org/membership/
Tumblr media
Other Requirements:
If you’ve made it this far, you have also probably read several blogs and sources surrounding this topic. What you’ll most likely need it the following:
A personal trainer. I.E.- Someone that will push you to your limits that holds certification in personal training, while dually accredited or experienced in bikini/physique.
-I contacted a highly recommended gym in my area.  -Average cost for a trainer: $200 per month.
An action plan for dieting. Some coaches also offer these services as part of a package deal, but meal prepping is a must.
-Lucky for me, my SO loves to cook and he’s great at it. -Meal prepping can be done in several different ways: meal delivery, at home prepping, via templates, etc.
A bikini. You know, the two proprietary and super expensive pieces of bedazzled cloth that will house your nether regions for the duration of the show.
-Etsy, for example, has a surprising amount of high quality suits at reasonable prices. -Average cost: ~$250+ (Can range from $150-$700) -Optional “Bikini Bite” spray: $12
https://www.etsy.com/search?q=bikini%20competition%20suits
Tumblr media
Heels. Or as I’d like to call them: A pair of clear, competition grade, ball-busting stilettos.
-Can be easily found online. (Amazon, eBay, etc.) -Normally priced at $40 or more
https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=bikini+competition+heels&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=153665377368&hvpos=1t2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8017545276369341607&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026193&hvtargid=aud-349572068812:kwd-52333321751&ref=pd_sl_6lr4shh7tk_e
Tumblr media
Posing classes to make sure you’re not an awkward dinosaur on stage.
-Posing and posture is a huge part of how you’re graded, so it’s important to consider how you carry yourself on stage. -Classes can be from $50-$100 per session.
A tanning membership to thoroughly cook your skin to the just the right recipe of ravenous radiation.
-Tanning memberships vary drastically.  -Competition tanning usually costs $50, and require that you use a boutique of their choosing.
Professionally executed hair and make-up for the event. A large portion of this is based on appearance. While you might scoff at the idea of this, presentation is a full package that isn’t just excluded to how well your body looks.
-Hair styling: $50-$60 -Professional make-up: $60 -Optional jewelry
Time for some number crunching!
Registration, $125 + Trainer, $800 ($200 x 4 months) + Bikini and Spray, $275 ($250 + $12 rounded up) + Heels, $50 + Posing class, $75 + Tanning, $50 + Hair and Make-up, $120 = $1,495
In essence, that’s an estimate of close to $1,500 to compete. Granted, I’ll save money where I can. (Depending on what type of event I register for, there are additional costs for registration and photo ops.) I've already started reaching out to possible coaches and gathering estimates for my future plans.
Things to remember:
Before buying anything related to the competition, make sure it’s allowed! Some shows don’t allow particular types of jewelry or suits, so be cognizant of what your purchases! The “bikini” bracket emphasizes particular features. It focuses on health, symmetry, fullness, balance, and proportion. While muscles are a huge factor in enhancing the body to meet this criteria, abundance of muscle size and striation is not desirable for the category. Don’t get me wrong, my goal is to get RIPPED af, but for all intents and purposes, I see this bracket as a stepping stone to other more involved categories.  The results of the contest do not gauge how hard you worked. Just like anything else that is judged, there is a certain level of bias and subjectivity that goes into winning. My idea of winning is simply being there and being able to say “I did that.” All of my hard work and determination to get to that point is far more important than any trophy or faux sword to dress my fireplace mantle with.
My goal is to have fun, challenge myself, keep learning, and move forward in terms of fitness.

When I said no to those they showed me the two characters of theirs I liked and told me I could have them on the terms that I - 1. Don't make gore art of them. 2. If the "friendship" between white and I broke off the character would be returned to them. and 3. Any ships the character was in with whites characters had to stay the same. I declined those terms as I do not think its fair that I would have to return a character over a friendship. White would be making off with a free reference of his char pretty much while I had lost the "payment" I would've gotten for that reference. Now before I go on let me say that White is a minor, they are only 16 years old. They have been commissioning NSFW stuff from other artists and asking other minors to do gift art of nsfw things even if they decline it. This can get people into trouble as it is illegal to sell NSFW things to minors. White had also guilt tripped a piece of gift art out of me. https://lunarlilac.deviantart.com/art/Thrayn-Without-Halo-659785220 https://lunarlilac.deviantart.com/art/Thrayn-659778171
I later used those colors on one of my characters in slightly different hues and White forced me to change them calling it a ripoff of his kobalt and that he'd see it as his character because it was basically one of his "old" designs from the designing process of his character. His response to me being straight was "a noodle is only straight until its wet." When that did not work White constantly complained about my boyfriend and tried to find ways to make me break up with him, even trying to force me to split my time by giving White 50 percent of my time and my boyfriend 50 percent of my time. He demanded movies every Fridays, calls every night before he went to bed at 2-4am my time and wanted me to spend every single evening with him talking about art, degils, fluff, and his characters. He tried to get me to teach him art, but most of the time he just sat there crying about not knowing how to do the sketch and didn't even bother trying to do it. He later blamed me for the reason he couldn't draw. They had recently opened up designer applications in their degil species and I decided to try it out, but I found out that was the worst choice I've made. On all the designs I've made so far from their species they constantly complained about the nose being wrong and they forced me to change themes on their whims because they thought a certain pose looked more like this theme. They were constantly making me do the designs to what they liked, they have a bias against leopard/cheetah spots and hate the color black so they tried to force me not to use either of those things. On the egyptian blues, I had put snow leopard spots, I was forced to remove them because White hates spots and believes they are overused and has told me they're not allowed on degil designs, however this would mean requiring all previous degil designs to remove any type of spots they have. During the sweltering fire designing process white had forced me to change its pose from a rainbow theme to a fire theme, when I said I was going to do a black base he claimed there had been too many black bases recently as to why I couldn't use the color black at all on the design, but when I looked there was only 1. He had approved the fire I had on the hooves and when it was finished he changed his mind and forced me to remove it and fought with me about the color of the fire being green. When I told him the green fire did not match the design he went on to complain about the silk color being ugly since it was black and constantly nagged "what about the silk?" until I changed it. According to white he thinks designers do whatever the owner tells them, when they tell them to do it and it has to be exactly their way down to every detail meaning that designers don't really get to pick anything about the design. The designers aren't even considered staff to him. I had asked White to remove me from designer as I was tired of the drama and instead he cried about being stressed as to why he does everything he does (he uses this stress excuse for every single thing). He then turned me over to the co-founder to tell her what was going on and she understood completely. All white had to say to me was "please don't leave, think about staying, you're the only designer I have!" The other designer White had in the group was not making any designs, hence why I was the only designer. White refused to remove them from their designer status for whatever reason despite both me and the co-founder telling him to get rid of them if they're not doing their job. The degil species will die with White so long as he is owner. White's co-founder was the one doing everything in the group and once she is gone he will be lost with how to run the group. A few of us have been telling White to step down from owning degils as they can't run the group properly and don't treat their staff nor members with the respect he demands from us. White refuses to give up degils and claim they will either succeed with them or die with them. White currently claims to be trying to change within 3 months and will probably claim that this is ruining his reputation even more that he says hes trying to "fix" right now. The scriptures. May God bless the reading of His holy word.
Going on from that place, He went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked Him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other.
But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
 Matthew 12:9-14
Another time Jesus went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched Him closely to see if He would heal Him on the Sabbath. Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.”
Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.
Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.
 Mark 3:1-6
On another Sabbath, He went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath. But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there.
Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”
He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored.
But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
 Luke 6:6-11
This ends this reading from God's holy word. Thanks be to God.
Jesus had told the Pharisees this about Himself after being questioned as to why His disciples were eating wheat from the grain fields on the Sabbath:
“The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:8
In other words, Jesus was Lord over all things, granted authority over everything including the day that God the Father designated as holy.
You would have thought this would have been enough for the Pharisees to stop their incessant badgering and policing of Jesus but it wasn’t.
 Why?
Because the Jewish religious leaders had stubborn (and even hardened) hearts, hearts that refused to accept or believe anything outside of what they wanted to.
We see these stubborn hearts on full display as Jesus moves from the grain fields to the synagogue where He encounters a man in need of His healing power. Look again at this story as told by three of the four Gospel authors:

The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath.  But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.  Luke 6:6-11
As was His custom, Jesus went to the synagogue where He spent a lot of time teaching and we read where the Pharisees and teachers of the law were among those in attendance. Also, there was a man who the scriptures tell us had a shriveled right hand. We aren’t told how long he had been disabled but that is really not as important as the fact that he was in the right place at the right time and in the company of the right person who could change his life forever.
Note here that the Pharisees and the teachers of the law weren’t in the synagogue to bring their worship to the God they professed to follow and serve. Their hearts weren’t centered on the scriptures and growing spiritually. Rather, they were only interested in watching Jesus to see if He would heal on the Sabbath so they could bring accusations against Him.
Well, as we have seen before during this journey through the Gospels, Jesus could read the minds and thoughts of people around Him. He could examine the hearts of others to see where they were coming from. Nothing was hidden from Him. It was true in the days of the Gospel accounts and it’s true today.
So when Jesus looked into the stubborn hearts of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, He knew what they were up to and posed the following question to them before He took any action:
“Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?”
It was a simple question, one that no one should have hesitated to answer. Evil is never acceptable, no matter what the day, and one should always be ready to save the life of another if it came down to it, on the Sabbath or otherwise.
But the Pharisees and teachers of the law chose to remain silent, even in the midst of Jews who were hoping to hear their guidance in regard to the posed question. Jesus was looking for some response as well and when none came, the scriptures tell us He was angered and deeply distressed at their decision to stay quiet.
And so Jesus provided His own reply to the question, not by saying but rather by doing. He commanded the man to stretch out his hand and as soon as the man complied, he found his hand instantly healed and restored to normal. It was an occasion that should have been celebrated and I’m sure it was by everyone in the synagogue except for the Jewish religious authorities as their hearts were so inclined toward evil on that Sabbath day that all they could think about was how they could rid themselves of Jesus for good. And so the scriptures tell us that they went away from the synagogue and partnered with the Herodians, Jews who supported the Romans and their leader Herod, to look for a way to kill Jesus.
Today, people all over the world today are unwilling to accept Jesus or anyone associated with Him. We seem to read of the persecution and even execution of Christians that takes place in other nations every day, all because those accosting Christians have stubborn hearts that refuse Jesus and instead allow Satan to enter in instead. And since Jesus is not here in the flesh to kill again, those with hearts driven by Satan look to kill His disciples, not just on the Sabbath but any day they choose. It’s a sad truth that I’m afraid we are going to always put up with until that day when Jesus comes and judges the world once and for all. It will be a day when those who are dead and alive in Christ will be taken to the everlasting life He has promised, an eternal life shared with Him and God. As for all the others, those who opted to have stubborn hearts and reject Jesus, they will find themselves sent into eternal damnation where they can spend an eternity in hell to regret inclining their hearts against a Savior and anyone who followed Him, those who were only trying to save and deliver them.
Today and every day, please join me in prayer for those who are stubborn in heart, hoping that they would change their attitude, accept Jesus, and receive the salvation He offers.
 Amen.
 In Christ,
Mark
