The Starkiller was gone, and Kylo was wounded. He recuperated for a couple of days, only as much as time of journey allowed, and was still aching when he stood in front of the Supreme Leader. To his despise, his mask and his saber were both gone, as was way too much of his skin, but he had his clothes, torn from the fight but still useable.

He knelt before the throne and hung his head.

“Supreme leader,” he said. “I have arrived to complete my training.”

“You summoned me, Supreme Leader?” Rey asked, sounding almost bored.  Almost being the key word there.  In most all other respects, she looked (to the naked eye) to be completely attentive and respectful.

Rey had never seen the Supreme Leader of the First Order since her marriage to Kylo Ren. Her husband would tell her about him sometimes, the most recent when he was telling her that Snoke was impatient with them because Rey wasn’t pregnant yet. Apparently, Kylo was expected to rape her on their wedding night if that’s what it took.

But Darth Vader never raped anybody, so why would Kylo Ren? Just thinking about it made him sick. He didn’t care what Snoke did to him, he wouldn’t do it. He told her what was expected of him, and she was thankful he refused to comply. After that, she slightly liked him a little more.

They were getting along slightly better, but not enough for her to consent. The idea of being pressured into having a child was almost behind her until Kylo told her how furious the Supreme Leader was.

Rey took it upon herself to confront this Snoke guy. Kylo should not be punished for doing the right thing, and she had to set that straight.

Since the stormtroopers were obligated to obey her, by Kylos command, she was able to get one to lead her to where Kylo would go to speak with this Supreme Leader.

Darkness. It was like a theater with no audience, with no show, abandoned, empty, eerie. So where was this Snoke guy? Her gown brushed against the floor as she came closer to the steps, where a giant chair was displayed.

“If you’re in here, show yourself.”
