Regarding Genders and Sexuality: A noob's cry for help
I really just have several questions, and figured that this would be a place where I could get answers plus (hopefully) trustworthy sources... So, Edit: tl;dr: I’m soft and just wanna make sure I don’t get in trouble whenever I go to the states so please someone tell me what pronouns are OK, among other curiousities I'll be visiting the US soon next year, and given that English isn't my first language, and I don't want to cause trouble to anybody anywhere, I would really appreciate for somebody to explain a few things I've been curious about for a long time, I won't number these, I don't wanna pressure anyone into having to tackle this as a test or whatever: -I want to know more about neo-pronouns (or is it without the dash?), I literally found out those exist like a month ago. How many are there? Are they currently being discussed, as in, have some of them been implemented in an official way, or are they in process of being implemented? Is there a record of when exactly this idea came to light? Are they supposed to identify "neo-genders" or is anyone able to use them as their pronouns? -Is "They/Them" not being used as a neutral pronoun anymore? I'm curious about this because I saw a Tiktok that labelled the pronoun as toxic, not sure if it was a joke or not. To be fair, I might be looking too hard into this one, the video in question was part of a compilation video on youtube, I don't use the app itself, and as far as I could see in the comments of the compilation, no one was saying anything about that one Tiktok in particular. I just want to make sure because it caught me by surprise -There was another video I watched today, actually. The person was explaining that they had read a post somewhere that stated something along the lines of "Bisexuality is valid, and it doesn't mean that you like '2 genders'. Bisexuality is being attracted to people of your same gender, and of a different gender than you". And I thought that it made quite a bit of sense, I just wonder if it's legit OK for me to identify as bisexual, because that's what I've called my orientation since I noticed I happened to be attracted to both guys and girls. The video made things clearer for me and I think I can still identify myself as bisexual, because from my understanding, pansexual means something more along the lines of "anything within the spectrum is fair game to me". If anyone could clarify this in case I still got things wrong, please do so, I'm here to learn For now I think that's it, I may have additional questions depending on the answers I get here... I really just want to learn some more about it all. From the first time ever that I was taught that  "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." I've had implanted in my mind that "everyone must be treated well, no matter what" PS: I had to look up the commandment's English translation just to make sure I had it right, I was a bit surprised that it uses "neighbour" in it, because in my primary language it goes "Amarás a tu prójimo como a tí mismo" and every time the adults would explain what it means, I would always be drawn to the same conclusion "mi prójimo es todo el mundo" which in turn would mean "my neighbor is everyone in world" so it was an all-inclusive word to me. The feeling's the same, just wanted to clarify this cuz as I said, found it a bit surprising  PS. 2: This is the compilation video I mentioned, the tiktok that got me curious is at 3:25   https://youtu.be/c4aYKv5nm74
