no but i just got to the part where yamatos the team leader and the contrast with kakashi is interesting bc idk if it turns out this way but the idea of naruto and sakura having a kinda skewed?? version of what a team and team leader are is Interesting and i kind of like the idea that it was actually done on purpose,,

like sasuke is the only surviving member of a clan thet was massacred by their own member and hes early on seen as very promising, so the village has two eyes on him and naruto has a literal demon trapped inside him so theyve got atleast 5 eyes skkdnsms aheh on him but most dont even have high hopes for him and then theres sakura who was academically good but seemed to kind of fizzle out until she got into medic stuff so its interesting to think they stuck them all together and then assigned kakashi to them, and maybe its too much hc and fanon but he seems clearly depressed (+etcetcetc) and the "lazyness" comes off as depression lethargy and the lateness is him losing track of time and the constant book in hand is probly just a social prop so he can have the excuse of not following the coversation and daydreaming away and obviously hes a top ninja but like i like the idea that they know hes Not Okay and so they put hi w the rejects lmao like keep an eye on sasuke keep naruto under control dont even bother with sakura and as far he goes just go through the motions of atleast appearing to train them and then they get to yamato and it seems different more like how its officially supposed~ to be so idk the idea of them being not rly meant to suceed and given a used up leader is rllllly how i want it to go rather than "we put you all tg bc we Just Knew it would lead to Great Things" like they probly didnt expect them to make it at all
