Back at @anachrocon I found a wallet by @missred871 that was adorable and kinda what I wanted, but it wouldn't fit in my bag and I didn't feel I had the time to commission one properly before my trip. If you like the look of this one, though, def go check out her shop!! She's got awesome fabrics and the patience of a saint. So I explored the internet for various wallet patterns and stumbled on the #necessaryclutchwallet. It's (again sigh) not what I want, but the pattern was simple and cheap, and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to help understand how it fits together so I can modify it now that I know how it works. This is a slightly modified #ncw pattern. It's cute, but also a bit big, more for a night out to match my #3hourdress than a wallet for the everyday, plus it doesn't hold my passport. My plan is to bring it in a couple inches, lengthen it out a few more, and maybe work out a different method of expander. The accordion is ok but #obnoxious to put together. Plus all that interfacing gets expensive!
