Blue jeans | Benny Cross
Tumblr media
Pairing. Benny Cross x afab!reader
Prompt. ‘Told you when we met what you were in for.’
Warnings. Slight spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie yet!, angst (like a lot) cause that mane Benny needs a hug fr, language (cussing), one mention of character death, smoking cigarettes anddddd I think that’s it
Note. Tried to write the dialogue the best way I could to go along with the movie and how they talk in Chicago but I most likely didn’t do as well as I think I did cause I’m from Mississippi (yeah country asf living in the southern belt) and sometimes you can see it in my writing lmao. Got the inspo to write this form the song blue jeans cause it’s LITERALLY about him you can’t tell me otherwise. Also, Kathy is the star of this movie I swear. Anywho enjoy 😇
Wc. 3.2k+ (gah damn)
Tumblr media
None of this was your speed. The grown men crowded around the bar from the front doors to the back wall, all huddled into groups like they were planning something. Earrings hanging out some of their ears while others had their belly buttons showing - the coils of chest hair damp with sweat as visible as ever, but it was obvious that they couldn’t care less. From the moment you opened the door, clouds of cigarette smoke that outweighed the amount of oxygen there was puffed into your face. It swirled around so much that you could see it in the air. And the way they spoke - you couldn’t believe your ears. It was all ‘F’ this and ‘F’ that so much that it could drive a person up the wall or make their ears bleed.
Oh, these guys were animals. But they all had one thing in common— the jacket they wore.
Walking in, you kept your head down as you shoved past all the bozos that made it almost impossible to get to the table your aunt was waving you over from, so you didn’t get a good look at them. You didn’t want to get a good look at them; by first glance, you’d seen enough.
It was obvious that you didn’t fit in with a single person in that bar. Hands gripped at your hips as you passed through the crowd - a blatant look of almost disgust and fear on your face. When you sat down, a shaky breath escaped your lips as you scanned the bar, wide eyed, like a deer in headlights. You could hear your aunt telling you to calm down— that these guys just wanted to have a little fun.
No matter how bad you didn’t want to stare, you couldn’t help it. Gaze locked on the back of one of the guys' jackets, you could see the patches that littered it with all kinds of words and symbols; but on the back, there was a skull with big white letters above it—
“Vandals— the hell you got me in here with these guys for?” you said in a low voice like you were afraid one of them might hear you.
“Whatever, niece, these guys ain’t all that bad.”
“I don’t even know what a Vandal is,” the look on her face told you that she didn’t either. Of course you knew about these ‘motorcycle clubs’ that keep popping up all over the midwest, but you never put a second thought to it. They were a bunch of guys that had too much time on their hands— with that time, they sat around and talked about bikes all day while getting stoned and drunk.
It was obvious that they were, in fact, one of these clubs. The moment you pulled up to the bar, there were rows upon rows of motorcycles out front. That sight alone made you get back in your car and contemplate driving off. You didn't want anything to do with any club, that's why you had been so alert since you got there. Eyes darting around to try and keep an eye on all of the men that were in your view.
“And that's exactly what your problem is, niece, you're such a square.”
“I’m not a square… I’m just not stupid.” An audible scoff came from her at your words. You could see her get up from the table out of the corner of your eye as you continued to look around the bar. She’d said something about getting a drink before she left, but you couldn’t focus on her right then - too busy trying to hear what the group of guys huddled near your table were plotting. They had to have been plotting something, cause who just gets in a huddle with their arms around each other to ‘talk’? People who plot shit.
After waiting a little while for your aunt to return, you couldn’t take it anymore. Lord knows you didn't want to be in this place any way, let alone by yourself. You stood from your seat and tried to look around people who were in your way to see if you could see where she had gone. But you didn’t.
Letting out a heavy sigh, you sat back in your chair reluctantly with a scowl on your face. Arms folded across your chest, you tried to look as unapproachable as possible to everyone who passed by your table.
“What’s with the look?”
A deep, almost gravely voice came from beside you - where your aunt had been sitting before. It should have scared you, but it was soothing to hear. You turned towards the voice to be met with a tall, lean yet muscular man who stood before you. A few tattoos littered his arms from what the sleeveless shirt allowed you to see. Two chunky-ish rings blinged in the dim lighting above the table. His dirty blonde hair matches the bit of stubble on his face.
Staring, wide eyed at him, you couldn’t bring yourself to speak— or to blink. You had never seen a man like this a day in your life. He didn’t look like the rest of those animals in this bar. Hell, he looked better than any man outside this bar.
Swinging a chair around towards you, he sat close enough to where you could feel his breath fan against your face. The look in his eyes was amusing and expecting as he waited for you to answer his question. But you couldn’t. You just stared at him.
From the moment you saw him, in the best way possible— he made your eyes burn.
He chuckled lightly before licking his lips, resting his chin on his forearms. “I’m Benny.”
“Hi…” You said breathlessly. That same slick smile on his lips, he stood from his chair wordlessly, running his hand along the back of yours before walking away.
-
Your arms folded across your chest tightly as you waited to cross the street right outside the bar to get to your car. There were no other cars coming, but you were still waiting for the ‘walk’ signal. Crisp air blew harshly against your ears to the point where they hurt— but that was the last of your thoughts. Every other thought in your mind was clouded or disappeared. All of them were taken over by the thought of him. Of Benny.
He was unlike anything you’d ever seen. His image burned into your head: the black, sleeveless shirt that showed off his tattooed arms. Dark washed blue jeans. Blue eyes that looked as if they had everything to hide. Bruised hands that had two large rings, but his hands made them look small. Stubbled face. It was like James Dean. Everything about him was the opposite of you— a match made in heaven.
The bar door opened behind you, making you look over your shoulder. Benny walked out of the bar, hand digging out a cigarette and a lighter. You watched, unable to look away as he placed the cigarette between his lips, cupping his hand around it so the wind wouldn’t blow out the fire from the lighter. He stuffed the lighter into his Vandals jacket pocket, swinging his leg over his bike before kicking it as hard as he could. The engine roared loudly that it sounded like it would break down any minute. The sound of it made you jump, pulling you back to reality.
A blinking light flashed, telling you that you could walk across the street - but you stood there - arms still folded, eyes burning from your stare, lips chapped from the air.
Benny twisted the handle of his bike, looking over his shoulder at you wordlessly. Taking a long pull before blowing the smoke out slowly. The sight made your head fuzzy, it was beautiful.
The bar doors opened again and people came rushing out. Your heart skipped a beat at the sudden yelling and chanting. You had no clue what the hell they were on about, but when you looked back at Benny, you could see him scoot forward on his bike while looking at you with a crooked smile. Your steps were slow as you approached his bike, eventually reaching it and placing your hands on his shoulders gently.
Swinging your leg over and settling on the seat, you could feel Bennys hand cup around the back of your knee, moving you closer to him before he kicked at the bike again and took off through the red light.
Your cheek pressed against his shoulder, arms wrapped around his waist tightly. As many stop lights as he's run from the time you got onto that bike-- you should be terrified for your life. Your eyes shut tightly each time he sped between cars. Each time, you gripped onto him harder.
His same laugh from earlier reached your ears. “I got you. Don’t worry, dove, okay?”
Nodding against his shoulder, you opened your eyes to see that you were approaching the highway. A smile spread onto your lips softly at the sight of the open road. No one else in sight for miles.
Just you and Benny.
-
“Benny, where are you going?” Your voice was soft, words slightly mumbled from you biting nervously at your thumbnail as you watched Benny from the doorway, pulling on his Vandals jacket hurriedly.
“Gotta go meet Johnny.” His words were almost dismissive as he picked up his bike keys, shoving them in his pocket with his cigarettes. Of course. You knew that the club was Bennys family… Johnny was like his father. But the club isn't the same anymore. It’s not how it was when you met Benny. So much had changed in a year. You married Benny within weeks of meeting him. You became a part of his life— his riding, his loyalty to the club, his hospital visits, his fights, his lawyers and jail cells.
He moved in with you and everything you knew changed. It wasn’t that you didn’t want Benny in your house or a part of your life. You loved him with everything in you. Any time the phone would ring, your heart stopped, thinking something had happened to Benny… again. But now, you couldn’t imagine your life without him. He was all you cared for. But this fucking club.
You couldn't take it anymore.
It wasn’t so bad at first. Sure, you had to get used to the drinking and smoking and Benny being out till 4 in the morning almost every. Single. Night. But the club was like a second family now. Until Brucie died.
Benny didn’t seem to be phased by any of it though. Brucies death, the drug deals being ran all the way from Canada, the new members who challenged Johnny everyday of his life. Of course, you knew Benny was seeing what you were seeing. But he still stayed with the club. Even after all the messed up shit that had been happening that made you tell him that it was getting out of hand— he still defended it.
“Meet Johnny for what..?” your words were hesitant as you took a step into the door, eyes scanning over Benny. He avoided your gaze, something he's been doing a lot recently. Since you had met Benny, he always stares into your eyes as if he were searching them. He didn’t do that anymore.
“Don’t worry ‘bout it. I'll be back later tonight.”
“Benny.” You said his name. Louder this time. His Blue eyes reluctantly trailed up to yours, brows raising once to show you that he was listening. Shrugging your shoulders, you shook your head slowly. You couldn’t find the words you wanted to say. You wanted to say so fucking much. You were sick of this life— sick of worrying about where he is, if he's gotten caught up in something that you didn’t know how to get him out of.
He said your name in an almost hushed voice, gaining your attention.
Taking a shaky breath, your wide, tired eyes found him. “I don’t know how much more of this you can take, Benny.” He dropped his head, shaking it as a dry chuckle escaped his lips. “The hell are you goin’ on about, dove.”
Bennys’ voice always had so much power over you. His words and the way he used them had so much more. The way he called you dove. In the early days of the two of you, Benny told you that he called you dove cause you were too pure for him. Too different— perfect, almost. He said that you could fly away from him at any given moment, but you never did. That meant the world to him. Your loyalty to him reminded him of why he loved you so much: you’d never go anywhere, no matter what he did. No matter what happened.
“You’re gonna sit here and tell me what I can and can’t take?” He said as he propped himself up against the dresser behind him.
“No, Benny, that's not what I’m sayin’.” You stepped closer to him, arms still folded across your chest. “I’m sayin’... I can’t handle worrying about you every second of every day. I worry even when you're next to me cause everytime I look at you, I see how drained you look. I don’t like seeing that when I look at you— it hurts me”
Benny lifted his head to look into your eyes. Your eyes searched his relentlessly, trying to find something in them— but it was the same as it was when you met him. Like he was hiding the world behind those pretty blue eyes. “I’ll leave then.”
“What?” Your face dropped as your arms fell slack at your side. “Don’t do this right now.” Benny had a bad habit of every single time something went wrong, and you came to him with a pained look on your face, he would tell you that he would just leave so that you didn’t have to worry about him anymore. He said it so much that it made you think he just said it so that you would beg him not to. Of course, Benny would never be that cruel to you. He never said things to just hurt you. He meant what he said, the only reason he never followed through was because he would think of you.
“Then don’t- don’t come to me with this again. We’ve talked about this before.”
“Well, we need to talk about it again. I don’t want you in the club no more, and I mean that.” You had never been so direct with your request as you were being right now, always afraid of what he would say. Afraid he would choose the club over you.
“Don’t ask me that…” His voice was cold, but you could hear the bit of pain in his words. “You know I can’t do that.”
“Do you not remember how we were before the club started changing? Don’t you remember the night we met?” Tears pricked in the corners of your eyes as you stood close to him now. Before the Vandals went to shit, you and Benny seemed perfect. To everyone on the outside, they would say that your relationship was far from it, but you didn’t think that. You would go with Benny to every meeting, every ride, every picnic. You would lay on his chest and sit in complete silence while you watched whatever was on TV. He would take you for rides at all hours of the night. Speeding past every stop sign in sight as he whispered to you to hold onto him tight. To never let him go. When things began to get bad, but not as out of control as it was now, Benny tried to tell you that he wasn't good for you anymore; but it was too late now. You were too in love with him.
“I barely get to see you now. You go out every night doing God knows what with them, and you don't show up until the next night. But it didn’t matter to me cause I told you that no matter what, I'll be by your side.” The tears that you held onto for dear life eventually fell, rolling down your cheeks as you brought your hand to his face. You gently tilted his head to look at you— fingers rubbing his cheeks with all the care in the world. “I love you more than any of them ever could, Benny. I want a life with you, and we can't have that if you keep up with them.”
His eyes found yours as he silently looked at you. Bennys’ lip twitched so slightly that it almost went unnoticed. Bringing his thumb to your cheek, he wiped away a fresh tear that was falling from your eye at that very moment.
“Told you when we met what you were in for.”
His words cut you more than any knife could. Kissing your finger that was closest to his lips, he wrapped his hands around your wrist, he pulled them from his face gently. He stood fully, causing you to back away, looking at him with wide eyes and furrowed brows. You were scared. “Benny? Benny, what are you doing?” You said urgently.
He walked out of the room and down the small hallway, towards the front door. “I’ll be back, dove, I promise.”
“No- No, Benny! Benny, don’t you walk out that door—“ Your voice broke with sobs as you followed behind him, tugging at his shoulders and arms desperately. He could leave. You couldn’t let him leave. It didn’t matter if he said he’d be back-- that could be days later. Weeks, maybe months. You didn’t even want to think of the possibility of years. “Please, please don’t leave… I swear Benny if you walk out that door.”
He paused for a moment, standing in the open doorway. You stood behind him, close enough to where he could hear you choking back your cries. Benny hated himself for making you worry so much. He hated himself for making you cry. You were his girl, his wife, his dove. He never wanted to hurt you.
Wordlessly, he stepped out of the door, slamming it behind him before quickly going down the steps of your front porch. Getting out the keys for his bike, he sat on the tearing leather seat quickly as he kicked at it when the key was in the ignition. He sped down the road, through all the stop signs.
You wanted to scream after him, but you didn’t. Instead, you locked the door and rested your forehead against it as it pounded from your sobs. No matter how many times Benny leaves, how many times you cry over him or for him, your feelings for him will never change. You would always wait for him to come back to you.
Your loyalty belongs to him. Your love belongs to him. You belong to him.

Oh MY GOD what about Bakugou, kirishima, and sero who get hit by a quirk who turns them into a lil toddler or whatever and they’ve got the biggest crush on their chubby/plus size classmate 🥺🥺
A/N - I literally love this idea so much, thanks to @fandom-fander for helping out with this headcannon.

Bakugo
Tumblr media
aizawa sure as hell didn't feel like dealing with the angry pomeranian in minature form
he decided to leave the boy with the class and let them decide among themselves on who should watch the little firecracker for the day
extra credit anyone?
everyone immediately pinned the responsibility on you
kirishima, he didn't feel like getting screeched at by a small bakugo and needed to apparently go study
he also knew that bakugo had a fondness for you in his teenage form, so why not see if he still has it
fr little bakugo pretends to hate your guts
somehow this little toddler has the most hurtful insults
“you can't even get a boyfriend? that's pretty sad.”
suddenly choking out a child is okay
do it… no one has to know how it happened
even though he had pretended to hate you, he still kept trying to show off to you
you decided to take him out on a little bike/tricycle ride? homeboy flipped it trying to show off how fast he could go and then proceeded to complain about scraping his knee
hey at least he got your attention
he is a literal leash kid fight me oh my god
bakugo will simply run away
you expected him to listen? oh you're in for a surprise
the only option that you give him is to either wear the embarrassing monkey pack or to hold your hand
he immediately grabs your hand and is literally so giddy and its adorable my lord-
smiles for days my heart i can’t-
he may seem all happy and nice, but that can flip in a minute
he’s the biggest brat sometimes and you are literally this close to punting him across the room
you don't get him something that he wants? little pomeranian boy will turn into a velociraptor child in an instant
the decimals that that kids voice can reach up to is kind of impressive not going to lie
“no bakugo, you can't have that right now maybe later-”
screech
thankfully he tires himself out quick enough to set him down for a nap
but nothing is ever simple, is it?
he wont go to sleep without you though, claiming that there are monsters and he needs to know where you are so he can protect you
no matter how many times you had explained to him that there weren't any monsters around, you slowly succumbed to his pleas
almost feeling bad for him, he just looked so serious about how you could get hurt that it made you feel bad
you didn't notice how much taking care of a kid took out of you until now
you had made a mental note to apologize to your mom for having to deal with you when you were younger later
As soon as you settled down on the couch with the toddler laying on top of you, you almost instantaneously passed out
oh boy were you in for a surprise when you woke up to a teen bakugo, still curled into your torso
he looked up to you after feeling you stir, he almost had a smirk on his face before burying his head back  into you
mostly to hide the redness spreading over his face, he wasn’t going to admit that he was blushing
no way in hell
he just mumbled a “later” before his breaths softened into a steady pace
yeah, you may be stuck here for a bit
Kirishima
Tumblr media
you were there for the whole thing
red-top had pushed you out of the way of an incoming quirk blast and suffered the consequences
he became young again, almost too young
you felt bad
and who wouldn’t
so of course you took it upon yourself to watch him until the effects wore off
the thing you learned about him was that he was an even touchy-er child
homeboy just wanted to be held all the time
just climbing up and latching himself onto your calf
it was adorable but hard to walk with
If you pick him up, you’ve basically sworn an oath with the devil himself
you cannot put him down
ever
he gives the most pitiful looks when you do and drags his feet when you walk
he also wont leave you alone
so curious in whatever your doing at that exact moment
and he is impressed by everything you do
“what are you doing?”
“reading”
“wow so cool!”
a bug came in through the window and he screamed
you walked in all nonchalant, grabbed your shoe, and smacked that some of a bitch into a next dimension
he lit up omfg
“wow y/n, that was so manly!”
you brought him in to class since it had been a school day and were too afraid to tell aizawa about the incident
the girls were literally all over him
i mean, who wouldn’t be all over an adorable and friendly (looking at you bakugo) kid?
and the pebble boy was lapping up the attention like a thirsty dog on a hot day
you never expected him to act like this
shy maybe, but then again he was pretty outgoing in his teenage form
he was grinning from ear to ear
literally posing like a mini body builder and making little huffing noises
even you couldn’t help it, letting a little aww out like most of the other girls
this had been causing a slight disturbance to the class
so the whole going to school thing was pointless as aizawa sent the two of you home anyways
he is already a tired dad, he dosen’t need to be dealing with a toddler right now
putting the little strongman on your back you began to walk
you had been hoping that the effects would wear off in a few more hours
but nothing ever goes to plan dose it?
while you had been walking, you noticed a significant weight increase, but just decided to ignore it
hey you were more sturdy and thicc, you wern’t no pussy, why stop all of a sudden because of the extra weight?
the only single thing that had alerted you to kiri being fully back was the whisper in your ear
instead of a sqeaky and mousy voice, you heart a more smooth and even comment
“hey stranger”
girl you dropped him and ran, him having to catch up to you
he has the audacity to give you a heart attack, he better suck it up
Sero
Tumblr media
this was the same situation as bakugo, aizawa just didn’t want to deal with the kid
and especially a kid who kept mixing up two languages
he really was just so one
aizawa gave him the option to go to anyone
of course he ran straight to you, clinging onto your calf, as that was as high as he could reach
hey you looked the most inviting and least scary
he was literally terrified of bakugo and almost started to bawl is eyes out when he went near him
though he calm down slightly when he went down to get to a similar height as him.
why wouldn’t you take the opportunity to watch a cute little kid and skip class
hey, aizawa said whoever watched him got extra credit
but there soon was a slight problem that you noticed
well not really a problem, but more of a hurdle
with sero being raised in a household that spoke both english and spanish, he started to mix the two, not knowing any better
he would be asking for “leche” and you would just stand there trying to understand with your limited vocab
just the loading circle above your head whenever he started to talk
but you managed with google translate and going off of the vast amount of spanish soap operas you watched at 3 am once a week
surprisingly, he was a very artistic kid
at least every ten minutes he would walk over to you and hand you a squiggly picture of a flower, you, or him and you holding hands
and he would just giggle before running away to make another
bro heart go melt
being pre occupied with some papers that the father teacher had sent home with you, sero couldn’t get your attention
he might of forgotten your name and got stuck in a predicament
then the most rational thing popped into his head
well his dad called his mom “mi amor” and you and his mom were both pretty ladies
it made total sense to him so he went with it
“hey...”
nothing
“hey...”
nothing again
“hey... mi amor~”
your head shot up immediately
since he noticed that the name had gotten your attention, he just started using it
when he had shifted to being a teen again, the two of you never mentioned the name again
until a few days later when he was back to normal in class
homeboy was trying to get your attention and the multiple taps on the shoulder weren't cutting it
he got an idea
“hey... mi amor~”
yep that got you immediately
and he still uses that nickname for you

The Westmoore Tragedies | Chapter 2
[ TW: Gore below the ‘Keep Reading’ line. ]
Tumblr media
“Our children aren’t safe!”
“Have they found who killed those poor people?”
“It’s gonna happen again!”
“We want answers!”
More voices soon joined in, eventually creating a dull roar of overlapping panic from a slowly growing crowd of villagers that had gathered before the town hall—it was a bi-weekly occurrence by now since the massacre was discovered. Rodarin shifted his posture against the stone wall of the storefront he leaned upon, watching and listening as they shouted their concerns and pointed fingers. He couldn’t blame them—hells, he sympathized with them. They were scared because no one had answers, and they were angry there was nothing they could do. A gentle sting of pain pulsed through his lower lip as he bit at it in frustration, quickly turning from the crowd as he made his way to the schoolhouse. He needed to pick up his son and daughter early so they could begin packing their clothes and toys. Sarina planned to leave with the twins, take them to stay with her sister in La Noscea while Rodarin stayed a few more nights to find out what he could.
Firm steps echoed along the tiled floors of the hallway, his stare held upon the dull reflections within the tile while he lost himself to his thoughts. Westmoore had always prided itself on its higher educational standards—it was the reason he and Sarina moved here once they learned she was pregnant. It wasn’t a massive, sprawling city like Limsa Lominsa—but it wasn’t some small, run-down village either. There were multiple classrooms, one for each grade. Luckily, his children were only a year apart—their classrooms were directly across from one another at the end of the hall to his left. As he rounded the corner however, a sudden chill licked at his spine, causing him to stop in his tracks.
He had been so absorbed in his thoughts about the circumstances surrounding the disappearances, that he hadn’t been paying attention to his own. This wasn’t right.. something was very wrong about this. The hallways were unnaturally dark given the time of day—and even more alarming were the sudden lack of windows. His breaths became slightly unsteady as a sense of claustrophobia gripped at his lungs. It was far, far too quiet. There were no murmurs of lectures, nor childlike chatter and laughter. With this level of silence, he didn’t doubt he could even hear the soft scribbling of pencils from the classrooms on the second floor—but there was nothing. He took a few quick steps, which seemed to echo endlessly in this dreadful silence, to peer down the main hallway. The front doors were closed. They were open when he entered—they were always open to help keep the hallways cool during the hotter days. And that was another thing—the cold. The chilled air that sank deep into his flesh that was beginning to make his teeth chatter. This wasn’t right.
His heart began to drum within his chest, heated breath billowing from parted lips as he walked briskly towards the end of the left hallway—he needed to see his children. The doors to the classrooms nearly burst open behind the urgency of his entries, but both would be empty. His heart hammered loudly in his ears, hands lifting to run through and pull at his hair as his mind raced with horrible possibilities. Who took his children? What were they doing to them? And were they even still alive? Soft whimpers and murmured pleads began to dribble from his lips as tears gathered—but fighting through the sickening fear that knotted in his stomach, he sprinted for the other classrooms. With shoulder positioned forward, he burst through door after door—each more violent than the last as wood splintered and hinges cracked. He had eventually searched the entire first floor—even the main office and cafeteria. As he approached the staircase that led to the second floor, the shadows seemed to grow darker. His frenzied pace faltered, shaking fingers resting upon the rail as he peered up into the dark.
Tumblr media
He proceeded with caution, climbing the staircase with slow, careful steps as he took this time to try his damnedest at calming himself. Rounding the bend that brought the staircase the rest of the way up, a deep crimson hue began to bleed and taint the shadows, corrupting it into a sickly crimson that tainted his vision—his careful stride pausing a moment to adjust his eyes. His heart skipped a beat as he heard the faint rustling of paper and muffled laughter of children, his pace quickening once more at the mere prospect of finding his son and daughter. Though once he reached the top of the steps, his excitement was quickly crushed by the smeared blood that streaked along the hallway. The first classroom’s door on the right was wide open, blood pooling into the hallway from within. He could make out the smeared drag marks that lead from this open classroom to the one at the end of the hall, with its door closed. Various small shoe prints were left behind in the blood’s trail, all following towards the same closed room. He inched his way down the hall, shaky breaths filling the air between the pauses of muffled laughter and movement that came from the closed classroom. On his way, he carefully inched closer to the open door where the blood trail originated.
Tumblr media
His pulse hammered away in his ears as he mustered the nerve to peek into the doorway. The chairs and desks were scattered in disarray while mutilated bodies of adults—teachers and staff—littered the room like trash in pools of blood. Their flesh had been ripped and shredded to literal ribbons, and their faces seemed to have been hollowed out—no eyes, no teeth. “Valrin?.. Mia?..” Rodarin hissed in a pleading whisper, his ears straining as he silently prayed for an answer—only for it to go unheard. Jaw clenched tightly, he stepped back into the hallway and continued to follow the trail towards the closed door at the end of the hall.
His hand hovered over the doorknob as he listened to the commotion within. Occasional laughter, gentle snips of scissors, rustling of paper—if not for the insane circumstances, one would simply assume it was time for crafts. Slowly, steadily, the door opened as Rodarin watched in horror. Various children were scattered among the room, sitting beside the fresh corpses of their teachers—some were still twitching, kept alive to suffer longer. Soft grunts of effort escaped one child as he clipped away at the flesh of a dead woman’s arm. Others were cutting various shapes and patterns into limbs and torsos. Ribbons of skin were used as bindings and plasters for other small crafts. Eyes were scooped from their sockets with tiny fingers as the onlookers cried “Ewwwwww~!” in playful disgust, tossed from one to the other in a sick game of catch. They were playing.. Their faces were lit up in delight, not a care in the world as they played in the blood and gore of their victims. In the obscene horror of it all, Rodarin almost didn’t notice the dark, shadow-covered children standing off to the side, watching the others play with wide eyes and plastered smiles of pure white.
“Mr. Calrise.” He jumped at the formal call of his name, turning quickly to glance down the hall—which was empty. When he looked back, the shadowed children were before him, clawing at his legs as they tried to climb up. He could feel their tiny fingernails digging into his flesh. “Mr. Calrise?” He heard the call again, but was overcome by the weight of the climbing shadows—falling to the ground as his head cracked upon the tile during its whip back. “Rodarin!” A smack stung at his cheek, his eyes bolting open while he gasped and wheezed in panic. Melrin’s hands pressed to his chest, keeping him steady as he studied Rodarin with a worried, concerned expression. Young teens peered past Melrin from the classroom doorway, staring in curiosity and slight fear. “Rodarin, you alright?” Melrin mumbled as he helped him to his feet. “I.. uh..” He was at a loss for words, completely stunned as he looked around. Everything was normal, aside from having woken up on the ground. Melrin gave him a light pat on the back. “You just came to my classroom, stared for a while, then fell over. You feelin’ okay?.. You’re bleedin’” Melrin commented as he gestured towards the bloodstained leggings of Rodarin’s pants.
With tentative fingers he peeled back the cloth, revealing the various tiny scratches that had sunk deep into his flesh. A nauseating panic still gripped at his heart, but for whatever reason, he was back. And he needed to see his children. He needed to leave. “I’m fine. Got scratched up by a damn jackal earlier, must’ve had some disease—feeling all out of place.” He said, fabricating his story quickly as he gave a quick apology and walked briskly towards the staircase with a slight limp. He was on the second floor, and the injuries were still there. It was real, it had to have been. So then why was everything fine now? Back on the first floor, normality had been restored—no busted doors, and only more questions plaguing his mind. He made for the end of the side hall again, finding his children alive and well—and giving them each a long embrace, embarrassing them in front of their classmates. If only they knew why..
He spent the rest of his day with his children, pushing what had happened to the corners of his mind. His children were safe, and he was thankful. That night, he helped them pack their bags, making sure they had enough room for all their favorite toys to keep them entertained while they were away. A restless night awaited him, peeking in to check on them while they slept every ten or twenty minutes as he tried to figure out what the hells had happened. Sleep wouldn’t come until the next morning, Sarina and the kids giving their farewell hugs and kisses as they made off for La Noscea. Rodarin collapsed on the couch, his eyes no longer able to stay open. It was short lived, possibly only three or four hours passing before frantic knocking came to his front door. It took him a moment to heave himself up from the soft embrace of the cushions, the front door creaking open to reveal a captain of the Fleet. “Rodarin, come by the schoolhouse. We found the staff dead.. It’s happened again..”

October Ink | #1
You and Donghyuck have big plans to show off your couple costumes Halloween night. Nothing’s going to ruin that... right?
You should’ve brought your bag to school today. Huffing, you adjusted your binder and books in your arms once more, cursing Donghyuck out in your mind. How did he convince you that your backpack was going to throw off your couples costume?
It wasn’t unbelievable that the Wasp and Ant-man wouldn’t carry backpacks.
The air smelled of pumpkins and damp leaves, and as the sun set up ahead, you tilted your head back, welcoming the chilly air. Kids ran by with their halloween bags, their giggles making you smile.
You truly loved fall. There was nothing like it. Of course, Christmas was magical. Spring reminded you that the warmth was coming, so cherish the pastel aesthetic. Fall? It was travelling to another dimension.
The book on the bottom of your stack started to slip out of your arms again, so you prepared yourself to heave them up- only for hands to jab your sides and a low voice in your ear. You jumped, your books flying to the sidewalk as you sent your elbow flying back into the attacker’s stomach.
“Shit!” You instantly recognized the voice, reeling around to see Jeno doubled over, looking more comical than ever in his skeleton costume. “You didn’t recognize my voice?!”
“Yeah, because I’m supposed to guess it’s you by your evil growl. What’s wrong with you?!”
“I literally just saw you! We were just in stats together. We live in the same neighborhood, for crying out loud.”
“It’s Halloween. My eyes are on the lookout for dolls in striped shirts and babysitter slashers.”
Jeno rolled his eyes, grabbing your books like they were the weight of pillows. He matched your pace- well, you had to match his but that's besides the point.
“I forgot how jumpy you could be.”
You side-eyed him, never being able to stay mad at him for long. You’d known him for the duration of high school, and he was probably the sole reason you were so bad at math. How could you focus when he was always making witty remarks underneath his breath that made you laugh?
“You and Hyuck are still going to Yeji’s party tonight right?”
“Yes, Jeno, I already told you. Besides, he insists on showing off our costumes.”
“They are pretty cool. I would’ve gone for Cap and Black Widow though.”
You scoffed. “If that were the case, it would be HULK and Black Widow.”
The two of you proceeded to argue over Black Widow’s true soulmate, eventually settling on your agreement that Natasha deserved better in general.
The conversation shifted, Jeno complaining about how Jaemin spent too much time in October trying to prank him. You teased him, throwing his own line of “I forgot how jumpy you could be”. He brushed it off with a roll of his eyes and a plan to scare the shit out of Jaemin at the party tonight.
You humored him, daydreaming about how cute Donghyuck would look in his Ant-Man suit.
“Well, this is me,” You nodded, like he didn’t know this was your house.
He handed over your books. Jeno waited for you to climb up the steps and unlock your front door, smiling and waving as you turned to give him a nod.
Just before he disappeared out of view you called, “You couldn’t have come up with a better costume? I mean, skeleton?”
He stretched his arms out. “I’m Johnny. From Karate Kid? Get it together, Y/N.”
Shaking your head, you went inside.
A few hours passed, and you spent most of the time eating too much candy and getting pulled back to the tv to watch Halloween when you should’ve been doing your homework. Why do teachers want to kill any sort of joy?
It was 8 pm, Donghyuck was going to pick you up in thirty minutes and you were cursing yourself out for watching Michael Myers running around killing people more than doing this last assignment.
You drilled away at your laptop, muting the tv and opting to play a spooky playlist on Spotify. Here and there, you’d get pulled away from the couch to hand out candy. You really were a hero.
There was a page left of your essay, and your fingers were aching. You didn’t want to hear Donghyuck’s whining if you weren’t ready when he pulled up. A part of you wished that you had just gone to your parents’ work party- nope. Even now, you refused to mentally agree with that.
Phone going off, you prepared yourself to come up with a smooth apology- only to be graced with good luck.
baby                8:27 pm
Running a few minutes late. Should be there by 9.
He was lucky your parents were a little lenient on Halloween. Though, that only gave you two, maybe three hours at the party. You texted him back quickly, feeling good about being able to BS the rest of your essay in time.
The extra time loosened up your worries, even forcing yourself to take a bathroom break. When you came back, you settled in and got to work finishing up.
With a few minutes to spare, you finished and printed it out, putting it away in your bag. There was nothing like the excitement that hit you then. Yeji’s parties were always fun, though you didn’t get to go often. It was a miracle your parents let you on a Thursday. Like you said, leniency.
You spent the last few minutes eating pretzels and catching the beginning of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Getting caught up in the movie, you didn’t realize that quite a few minutes have passed. When you checked your phone next, your eyes widened at the 9:34 pm displayed on your lock screen. Usually, you’d catch yourself admiring the photo of Donghyuck kissing your cheek, a huge smile on your lips. Not this time.
Lowering the volume, you clicked his name and called him. You waited and waited, the fourth ring passing by… the fifth. After it went to voicemail, you tried again. Still no answer. You texted him, wondering what was going on.
A text came in and you clicked it, your shoulders relaxing only to deflate at Jeno’s name.
jeno                  9:38 pm
“YeS JeNo. I aLrEaDy ToLd YoU-”
MY ASS! Where are you????
Texting him quickly, you realized that the reason your heart was beating so fast was because Donghyuck never did this. Even if he ran late, he always kept you in the loop. This was not the night for him to be pranking you.
We are! Donghyuck said he’d be here by 9 and he’s not picking up the phone.
I’m worried. He never does this.
The three dots showed up, then disappeared. After a minute that felt like a mile, Jeno texted back.
jeno.               9:41 pm
Don’t freak out. I’m sure it’s fine. You want me to come over? Jaemin can drive. He’s the DD.
The thought made you feel better, and it took everything in you not to say yes. You had to think clearly though and not jump to conclusions. It was only thirty minutes. Donghyuck could’ve been driving, or fell asleep, or just hasn’t seen his phone.
Your phone started ringing, making you jump. You breathed deeply as you answered Jeno’s call.
“Hey,” You tried to control your tone, not wanting to ring any alarm bells. It was loud on Jeno’s end, music making it hard to hear him
“Did you see my text? Jaemin and i can head over if you want.”
He already sounded a bit gone, but you appreciated his concern. Breathing in deeply, you made a choice.
“It’s fine. I’ll give him some time.”
“Alright, well let me know. Doesn’t matter what time it is. And you shouldn’t be moping around alone on Halloween anyways. If I find out he flaked on you, I will pummel him-”
“Relax, it’s okay. I’m sure something came up. He’ll be here soon.”
You hung up, ropes tightened taut in your stomach and making it hard to breathe let alone think. Putting your phone down, you tried focusing on the tv. It didn’t work, picking it up again and calling Donghyuck. No answer.
Sweat was beginning to build at your lower back, so you pulled off the top of your costume. It was okay, you had to tell yourself. Don’t jump to conclusions. As much as you loved Halloween, it always made you extra jumpy.
All the candy and worry made you queasy, so you went to the kitchen to look for something to eat. Not in the mood to make anything, you pulled out some leftovers from last night. Right as you grabbed it from the fridge, three loud bangs came from the front door.
Almost dropping the container, relief flooded your veins as you closed the fridge and put the container on the counter, beelining for the front door.
Your hand paused on the knob, eyes finding your phone. If it was Donghyuck, he would’ve called. Peeking out the peephole, your breath went still at the lone figure on your porch, clothed in black, a wolf mask with a snarling mouth hiding their face.
Their hands were in their pockets, no bag for candy in sight.
This wasn’t Donghyuck. Your gut was screaming at you that this wasn’t a trick or treater either.
Your phone went off then, but you hesitated to look away from the peephole. Debating what to do, you raced for your phone and back to the door.
They hadn’t moved, like they were a mere decoration on your front porch. You picked up the phone, breathless. “Hello?”
“What do you want?”
Your eyebrows drew together, pulling the phone away to see it was Donghyuck. It was him, his voice, everything. Why was he so mad?
“What do you mean? Where are you?”
“Like you care. What, regretting it already?”
Blinking, stranger on the porch forgotten, you searched for words. Your mouth worked for you. “Regret what? What are you talking about’?”
“Stop calling me. Texting me. You think you can just dump me and pretend it didn’t happen?”
You couldn’t breathe for a different reason now, mind muddled. “What? I- Donghyuck, I didn’t break up with you. What are you even talking about?”
“Y/N. You just texted me after I said I’m running late. Told me to go fuck myself and you were done. What, you have short memory now? Real nice.”
You were unable to breathe, goosebumps breaking out against your skin. Turning back to the front door, you uttered, “I didn't text you that, Hyuck. I would never...”
There was a silence louder than any party on the other side of the phone. Just as disbelief filled his tone, hitting you with, “What?” a large bang sounded at the front door, a scream breaking past your lips as you flinched.
You checked the looks on the front door, ignoring your phone in your hand as you raced to the kitchen for a knife. You could hear Donghyuck screaming, calling your name, but you couldn’t focus. Just as you reached the kitchen, you caught a shadow at the back door.
Backing into the hall, you glanced around the room, debating what to do before running down  to the hall closet, fumbling through the dark to grab your dad’s baseball bat.
Putting your phone to your ear, you cut off Donghyuck’s worried words. “There’s someone here. I think they’re gonna break in.”
“Call the cops. I’m on the way.”
“Okay but-”
“I’ll be there right now. Just hide.”
You did what he said, ignoring the banging at the back door. Locking yourself in the bathroom, you tried to stop your shaking as you talked to the operator.
The nightmare worsened when they had trouble believing you, it being halloween after all. After sitting there arguing, they said they’d send a police car out to check up on you. They kept on talking to you, calming your nerves and telling you they’ll be there soon.
The worst sound you could ever hear when you were alone at home? A knock at the bathroom door.
“Leave me alone!” You yelled, phone long forgotten as you raised the baseball bat.
The knock came again, gentle. Just once. The doorknob rattled.
Breathing sharply, you tightened your grip, waiting for them to break down the door. You froze at fast footsteps, a thump, then scuffles. You went cold at Donghyuck’s voice, loud and angry.
Throwing the door open, he and the guy in the wolf mask were rolling around, trying to get the upper hand. A figure from the corner of your eye came rushing down the hall, so you swung as he neared.
The guy ducked just in time, reaching to grab you. Instead, he went for the bat, grip tight and stronger than yours. You held on with all your might, terrified as you looked into the clown mask.
“Stop! Stop, it’s me!” The wolf wheezed, your thoughts stilling as you looked down. Donghyuck had him in a headlock, the guy who you both knew tapping at his arm.
Distracted, the clown pulled the bat out of your hands and let it clatter to the floor.
“What the-” Donghyuck pushed off of him, eyes filling with rage as he pulled off the wolf mask- revealing Jeno’s flushed face. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
You turned to the clown, the mask halfway off and revealing Jaemin’s ashamed gaze.
“Are you guys crazy?” Your voice wobbled, Jeno letting his head fall back as he gasped for air.
“I was going to kill you, man,” Donghyuck’s voice was shaking, “Y/N just swung at Jaemin with a bat!”
“We didn’t think it would escalate like that!” Jaemin argued, “We were just trying to prank Y/N. We were about to show ourselves before you came tackling Jeno like a linebacker.”
“Uh, yeah, dumbass. I’m not just gonna let masked guys attack my girlfriend. You two have a death wish.”
You let them argue, grabbing your phone and apologizing over and over to the operator. You were scolded, told they should fine you for this, but let you off with a warning.
Helping Jeno up, you shoved him hard. “I should kick your ass, Jeno.”
He grimaced, holding his hands up. “You did say my costume was lame. I wanted to improve my pranking skills. So I recruited this dip shit.”
Your limbs were heavy as you led them to the living room, unsure if you should keep on being pissed or grateful that none of you accidentally killed each other.
“There’s a difference between a prank and attempted murder,” Donghyuck pursed his lips, but Jaemin threw an arm across his shoulder and rubbed his knuckles on top of his head.
“Aw, you guys can get us back next year,” He pouted, coughing when you and Donghyuck showed no signs of laughing.
“Assholes,” You uttered, sitting on the couch. Donghyuck sat beside you, arm going across the back of the couch as he searched your face.
Lowly, he asked, “You okay?”
“I’m alive. Considering if we should get new friends.”
“Hey! Come on now,” Jeno said, frowning like he was the one that just got traumatized.
“Out,” Donghyuck hooked his thumb toward the front door.
“But-”
Donghyuck cut him off. “We’ll see you tomorrow. If you don’t leave, I can’t say I won’t kick your ass.”
Jeno and Jaemin looked at each other, the former wringing his stupid wolf mask while Jaemin rubbed at his neck in embarrassment.
As Jeno passed you, he mouthed a sorry as they moved to the front door.
“Hey,” Donghyuck called out to them, “The text thing was not cool. At all. I really should knock you out for that.”
Jeno frowned. “What text thing?”
“Come on, don’t play stupid now.”
He looked over at Jaemin, who simply shrugged. “I’m serious. What text thing are you talking about?”
Donghyuck pursed his lips. “You texted me through Y/N’s phone, tricked me into thinking she broke up with me. Clever. That definitely worked.”
“But,” Jeno’s face grew with terror, “We didn’t text you.”
“Jeno, that’s enough,” You shook your head, “There’s no reason to lie now.”
“We didn’t! We only came in after Jaemin saw you run from the kitchen! We were just gonna stay outside but one of the windows in the back was open...”
Right as his words kicked in, the sound of glass striking the floor somewhere in the house made you all stiffen. Donghyuck took the lead, and you gripped the back of his shirt as Jeno and Jaemin trailed close behind.
The air was still, everyone silent as you raced to the source of the sound. You reached the room- the spare bedroom- and all stared down at what was once the flower pot tucked onto the windowsill.
The window was open, just like the boys said, curtains fluttering.
“Someone else was in here. Before any of us showed up.”
Everyone looked at you, horror dawning on all of you.
A/N: It’s officially spooky season!! I’m actually pretty excited to write stuff in the spirit of fall. Send in any requests, halloween related or not! Also, this is more of a oneshot than a drabble but let’s pretend it’s not. They won’t all be creepy, unless you want that. But yeah, hope you enjoyed!

Nightmares (Mirio Togata headcanons)
Tumblr media
Warnings: Season 4 spoilers (!!!), angst, fluff, the sound of the author crying
Request: “ I love your writing and think you're amazing! Keep up the great work! Here's my request: I was wondering if you could do a one shot or some headcannons where the reader helps calm down Mirio Togata after he has a nightmare about losing his quirk in his fight to save Eri? And they help him realize it's okay to be venerable and he realizes how much he loves them. Maybe they fall asleep together? You dont have to write this but I just thought I would ask anyway.Thank you and have a great day! 😁☀️ “
Author’s note: AHHH my heart omg these headcanons hurt my heart in the best way I hope you guys enjoy this! It’s kinda long (again) and kinda reads like a one-shot (again). Feel free to give feedback and/or SEND IN YOUR REQUESTS! PLEASE, I’LL GLADLY WRITE THEM! :D
- So you and Mirio were best of friends, and you two were also in the same class which made life easier. You had been in love with him for a long, LONG time but hadn’t yet had the chance to confess your feelings to him yet.
- When the Heights Alliance student residences went up, you and Mirio ended up being assigned to neighboring rooms, which made your life that much better because Mirio??? Literal sunshine personified??? As a neighbor??? Absolutely amazing.
- You and him didn’t even lock your doors anymore because the two of you were literally ALWAYS spending time together, bouncing from one room to the other.
- You’d even fallen asleep on his bed a couple times, but you never spent the night over with Mirio because you always woke up after a bit and apologized before saying good night and going back to your room before crashing.
- You guys had movie nights together all the time (along with Nejire and Tamaki every now and then), you would always hang out with each other and you would help Mirio out with his homework (except most of the time you’d both end up giggling madly and not really get much work done), you guys did literally almost everything together.
- Though what you never knew was that Mirio always felt a bit disappointed whenever you had to leave; he really liked being around you. He just really liked you. Although he couldn’t bring himself to tell you that yet.
- Mirio also startled you waaay more than once by accidentally permeating through the wall into your room out of nowhere. The guy would just suddenly slip through your wall, and given that he was always naked, you would let out a yelp before covering your eyes and getting him a towel.
- Once, he even did it when you had just gotten out of the shower and, boy, was that a moment.
- “Oh, my God! I’m so sorry (Y/N)!” Mirio exclaimed, immediately covering his eyes are turning to face the other way, his face turning bright red as you let out a startled shriek. Thankfully, you had had a towel wrapped around your body, but that didn’t make the situation any less awkward as you had to get him a towel, too.
- Mirio would tease you lightly about it later on, chuckling as he did so, “You know, (Y/N), it’s usually just me who ends up naked, but I gotta say, both of us ending up naked in the same room was one heck of a surprise!”
- “Oh, shut it, Mirio,” You’d reply, punching him lightly in the arm while the two of you both giggled, your cheeks turning bright red.
- All in all, you and Mirio were always together, always happy and having a good time doing absolute anything and everything together whenever possible.
- At least, that’s how it was before Eri’s rescue. Before everything changed.
- You hadn’t been with Mirio when he was shot with a Quirk-destroying bullet, but you had heard all about what had happened, and you could clearly see the consequences.
- Mirio was outwardly very smiley and positive despite the fact that he had lost the Quirk he had trained and fought so hard to perfect, as well as the fact that he had lost his mentor, Sir Nighteye.
- However, you knew that Mirio was suffering. You knew that he wasn’t really all smiles and positivity, not after everything he’d gone through.
- You still spent time with him, although now there were fewer laughs between the two of you, and overall the feeling was much more somber, more serious. You knew Mirio was grieving, but you didn’t know what you could do to help.
- The poor boy looked absolutely exhausted; the shadows under his eyes were extremely dark and his eyes had lost their shine. Mirio looked like a ghost of his former self more with each passing day and it was hurting your heart. You felt so helpless.
- “Mirio... please, I want to help. Let me help. There’s gotta be something I can do to help...” You pleaded with him one day, mustering up the courage to gently place your hand on his cheek, your thumb stroking his skin oh-so-lightly.
- “It’s okay, (Y/N)... honestly, I’m okay. I just... I need to keep smiling. Sir wouldn’t want me to be sad, not if I’m going to be as great a hero as he saw,” Mirio replied, with a tired smile that didn’t reach his eyes appearing on his lips. He leaned into your touch gently, his eyes closing for a split second before he withdrew, looking down at you, “I’ll be okay, (Y/N). Don’t worry about me.”
- “I’ll always worry about you, Mirio. You’re my best friend and I... I care about you. I want to help,” You replied, feeling crestfallen. But Mirio didn’t say a word after that, so you just nodded and wished him goodnight, looking down at your feet as you went into your room.
- The fact that Mirio was so clearly not okay but was refusing your help hit you like a sucker punch to the gut; you so desperately wanted to help him but he didn’t seem to want to let you help him.
- It got to the point where you yourself were losing sleep over it, and you started having some late nights yourself. You would lay in bed, just staring at the ceiling, or sit on the windowsill, gazing out onto the school grounds as the hours ticked by; 1am, 2am, 3am, time flew by.
- Then, suddenly, one night, you heard a noise that made you jump. It sounded like a cry, one filled with fear and sadness. Your ears perked up and you jumped to your feet, listening carefully. Another cry rang out, and your heart dropped down to your feet; the cry had come from next door. Mirio’s room.
- You quickly ran out of your room and, within moments, you found yourself outside of Mirio’s door just as another cry pierced the quiet of the night. Your heart jolted in your chest as you confirmed your suspicions; the cries were coming from Mirio’s room. From Mirio. Even in his sleep, he was suffering.
- You tried the doorknob gently, and you were surprised to find that the door opened before you. Without a further moment’s hesitation, you slipped inside and closed the door behind you before racing over to the bed.
- In the moonlight, you could see that Mirio was curled up in his bed. Tears were streaming down his cheeks, his blonde hair was tussled and messy, and his bed sheets were all tangled up around his body as he writhed in his sleep as though in excruciating pain.
- Your heart twisted painfully in your chest as Mirio cried out once again, the words filled with pain and fear and sadness unlike you’d ever heard before; “NO! NO!”
- You quickly leaned down and placed your hands on Mirio’s arms, shaking him gently as you tried to rouse him from the nightmare he was trapped in, “Mirio! Mirio! Wake up! Mirio, please! Wake up!”
- You shook him harder, your voice quivering slightly as you tried not to break down into tears yourself. You had to wake him, you had to help him.
- Suddenly, Mirio’s eyes shot wide open and he sat up, his chest heaving as he looked around frantically, trying to figure out what was happening. His sudden motion startled you and you fell backwards onto the floor with a loud “THUMP!”.
- “(Y/N)? W-What are you doing here? W-What-?” Mirio panted, looking confused and slightly terrified as he gazed at you, trying to make sense of the situation.
- You quickly got up and sat down next to Mirio on the bed. You stayed silent, but then you reached over and wrapped your arms around Mirio in a tight hug, with no intent of letting go any time soon.
- Mirio took a few seconds before returning the embrace, although you could feel the poor boy trembling violently as he did so. His breathing was ragged and you could tell he was trying so hard to calm himself. It hurt your heart.
- “Mirio, it’s okay,” You spoke gently, “It’s okay. I’m here. You’re okay. It was a nightmare.”
- The room was silent, until suddenly, Mirio began to speak. His voice quivered as he spoke, “I-I was at th-the Shie Hassaikai compound again... Eri... I-I jumped in fr-front of her, I-, the bullet, it... it destroyed my quirk. I c-can’t st-stop reliving it, (Y/N). I-It won’t let m-me be... And Sir Nighteye, o-oh God...”
- Mirio sniffled quietly, trying hard to stop more tears from slipping down his cheeks, “I-I’m sorry, (Y/N)... I didn’t me-mean to wake you. It was j-just a ni-nightmare...”
- You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. Words began to spill from your mouth before you had the chance to even think about them.
- “Don’t you apologize. I was already awake, anyways, but don’t you dare apologize to me, Mirio. You’re going through so much right now. Anybody would be hurting, including the best Pro heros out there, after going through what you’ve gone through. I know you’re hurting, Mirio. I see it in your face, in your eyes. You can’t hide it from me. Losing your quirk, losing Sir Nighteye, everything that’s happened to you... You’re grieving. That’s normal, Mirio. You’ve gone through so much... it’s okay to be vulnerable, to fall apart. It’s okay to not be okay.”
- You just kept holding Mirio, speaking gently to him all the while, and you could suddenly feel him burying his face into the crook of your neck, his arms tightening around you as you felt hot tears dripping onto your skin. Mirio was crying in your arms.
- You just held Mirio tighter, and even gathered the courage to gently kiss the side of his head as you did so. As the young man sobbed in your arms, you just tried to focus on being there for him now and tried to ignore the feeling of your heart simultaneously breaking and racing in your chest.
- It was unknown to you just how much time had passed as you held Mirio, but you didn’t care. You just held him and rubbed his back and gently kissed his hair silently until the young man cried himself out. You had finally managed to do something to help him.
- Eventually, Mirio finally drew back, and you could at least see his face, his tear-stained cheeks, his puffy and reddened eyes, but he didn’t let go of you for a second.
- You looked back at him and brought a hand up to brush his hair away from his face before you did the bravest thing you’d ever done, all hero work included; you pressed a gentle kiss to Mirio’s forehead, letting your lips rest there for a moment before pulling back.
- “S-Stay with me, (Y/N)?... Will you stay with me?... Please?...”
- The plea slipped from Mirio’s lips so softly that you almost didn’t hear him, but your heart almost leaped out of your chest when you registered what he had said. You smiled at Mirio, before replying back just as softly, “Always.”
- Mirio untangled himself from his bed sheets, sniffling quietly as he did so, before scooting over to make enough space for you to lay down next to him, which is exactly what you did; you crawled in under the covers and laid down so that you were facing Mirio.
- You suddenly felt a bit shy, as you didn’t know what to do or what Mirio wanted, but thankfully, this time Mirio made the first move.
- He reached over and wrapped his arm around your waist before pulling you close enough so that your head rested on his chest. You wrapped your arm back around him, reciprocating his embrace as you snuggled closer to him. You felt Mirio’s legs entangle with your own, and you felt your heart racing in your chest.
- Your heart was beating so loud that you were certain Mirio could hear it, so instead you tried to redirect your focus on listening to his heart beating in his chest.
- “Thank you, (Y/N). You’re my best friend, and I can’t thank you enough for always being there for me. Thank you for staying with me,” Mirio suddenly whispered, and you just looked up at his face and smiled gently as you replied, “Of course, Mirio. I meant what I said earlier; I care for you, and I will always be here for you. I promise. Now, let’s get some sleep, yeah? We both need it, but you most of all. I’m here now, and I’m not going anywhere.”
- At that, for the first time in weeks, Mirio gave you a small smile that was genuine and reached his eyes. You snuggled in closer to him, and Mirio let out a sigh as he placed a tender kiss on the top of your head before resting his head on yours, “Goodnight, (Y/N).” “Goodnight, Mirio.”.
- A comfortable silence filled the room, but it still felt like there was something wanting desperately to be said. However, both you and Mirio were far too exhausted to do anything about it then.
- Despite both of you being completely exhausted, you fell asleep much sooner than Mirio did. That was because Mirio couldn’t stop thinking about you and looking down at your peaceful expression as you slept in his arms.
- Mirio couldn’t believe what had happened that night. Part of him almost wanted to feel embarrassed that you had found him like that, and another part genuinely felt bad about the whole situation, but the biggest part of him was glad you found him and were there for him. For the first time in weeks, he genuinely felt better. And it was because of you.
- As Mirio looked down at your face, he could feel his heart swelling in his chest before he came to a startling realization, almost as though he had been struck by lightning; he was in love with you. And not just a little bit in love with you; he was absolutely, head-over-heels, truly, madly, deeply in love with you.
- He knew he really liked you before, but Mirio had never really realized that it was actually so much more than that. You were so much more than his best friend; you were his favorite person, his partner, and... you were the love of his life.
- Mirio had been in the middle of loving you before he had even realized he had begun. He was in love with his best friend, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
- So, as his lids began to feel heavy once again, Mirio gave one last loving gaze at your peaceful, sleeping face, pressed one more tender kiss to your brow and whispered, “Goodnight, (Y/N). Thank you for everything. Sleep well. I love you.”
- And at last, after many weeks of exhaustion and suffering, Mirio finally fell into a deep and peaceful sleep, with the love of his life fast asleep in his arms, his heart and mind finally at rest and a small smile on his face.

Lovely, Chapter 1 {ACOTAR}
A new joint project we’ve been teasing you with for months! @tacmc and I will be writing this mullti-chapter together. The posting will be similar to our last joint fic, Tending to the Fire. Just like TTTF, we will be alternating when posting chapters and there will be links on both of our Master Lists, so you’ll be able to read the whole thing, no matter who’s page you visit! The main difference from TTTF is the writing style.
Rather than trade off on writing chapters, every chapter will be written together. Whether that’s different POV’s, brainstorming via FaceTime, or literally picking up in the middle of the sentence the other was just working on, this entire story will be written as a team. We’ve talked about doing this for years and I’m so glad we’re finally getting the opportunity to make one of our dreams come true!
Now please, enjoy the first chapter of Lovely!
Tumblr media
The sun was slowly creeping along the floor when Azriel’s alarm went off. As he rolled over to stop the incessant chirping, a small form stretched out from under the blankets and emitted a quiet noise of contentment. He lifted the sheet to see his small, black cat snuggling back up against his side. He gave the cat a light scratch on the back of her head and she opened her golden eyes a crack to look up at him before rolling over and snuggling back under the covers. Azriel laughed before throwing the covers off of the bed and standing up.
As he made his way down the stairs, he heard Nyx’s small paws hit the floor as she jumped from the bed and followed him, her bell jingling the entire way. The bell was an absolute necessity, seeing as the cat seemed to be made of shadow, appearing only when she wanted to. Reaching the kitchen, he scooped some food out of the bag and refilled her near empty bowl. She immediately set to devouring the food, the only noises her tiny bites and her bell clinking against the glass bowl.
As he poured himself a cup of coffee, he turned on the tv and mindlessly flipped through the channels, settling on a news station that was currently showing the traffic in Velaris.
One of the perks of owning your own business? You got to make your own hours. One of the perks of owning a tattoo parlor? Those hours were usually later in the day than most people. He never had to deal with traffic, especially since he only lived a mile and a half from his shop, but since he had some things that had to be done this morning, he’d be running around town and didn’t want to get stuck behind the accident that was currently causing a backup on I-24.
He decided to forego breakfast for a shower and headed back upstairs, still hearing Nyx’s bell ringing dully as it tapped the glass bowl. When he walked out of the steam filled bathroom and headed to his closet, he found her fast asleep in the same spot she’d been in earlier. His lips quirked up in a half smile as he dressed in his normal attire of all black, but rather than the hoodie and jeans he usually wore, he put on his black suit, with a black button down beneath. He gave Nyx a quick scratch behind the ears, much to her delight, and made his way back downstairs, stopping only to grab his keys and was out the door.
Sliding into the driver seat, he popped open the mirror and ran a tattooed hand through his messy hair one more time. He couldn’t shake the feeling that today was going to be different, that something monumental was going to take place. He didn’t know what it was, but he was going to be prepared for anything.
“Mr. Draeven, my client isn’t going to give up any of her days with your son, but is willing to give you an additional visit, supervised, of course, once every other week.”
It took everything in Azriel not to slam his fist onto the mahogany table before him. He lifted his eyes to the prick in the suit before him. It was designer, high end. The lawyer was clearly paid for by her father. Even with the ridiculous amounts of child support he paid each month, she wouldn’t be able to afford this man’s hourly rate on her own. Before he could say anything, his own lawyer spoke up.
“Azriel has done nothing but lost visits with Asher since Ms. Hamadi started this pointless custody battle,” Helion said, standing and walking around to the other side of the table, looking out the window at the Valeris skyline. He turned his back on the Armani clad man and Azriel watched as his face turned a bright shade of red. He had to stifle a laugh.
Azriel was absolutely lost in the midst of this custody battle, something that should never be happening if his son’s mother wasn’t hellbent on keeping Azriel from Asher. Helion had gone to high school and college with Rhysand and had become a friend of his own. If it wasn’t for him, for him being willing to take his case on pro bono, Azriel would lose any chance he’d have at time with his son.
When the papers has been served and Azriel didn’t know what to do, he called Helion and his friend immediately dropped what he was doing and was at Azriel’s home within minutes, looking over the papers with him.
She was trying to take Asher away from completely, no visits, no contact, on the grounds that he was unfit. Nevermind the fact that Azriel was a business owner, made charitable donations to the city, and actually had a job, unlike- unlike her.
Helion encouraged him to counter her, to claim that she was an unfit guardian. He knew she still went out and partied, spent most of her time at the bar, club or anywhere she could get fucked up. If she hadn’t still been living with her parents, parents he was sure were really the ones taking care of his son, she wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
Rhys told him what he already knew, that she was still out drinking and leaving with different men every night. He didn’t like using his best friend as a spy of sorts, but since he was a bartender at her usual spot to pick up her latest prey, he did what he had to to build a case against her.
That was how all of this had started, how he even had Asher in the first place. He’d been drinking at Rhys’ bar, enjoying a long weekend with his family. Her teal eyes captivated him from across the bar. He was drunk enough that he silently slipped away from his group of friends, new shots being poured in front of him, and made his way over to her. He learned her name and asked her to dance. He’d spotted them watching him as she ground against him, Mor’s eyes burning into his own, but he was too far gone to care. She’d asked him to come home with her after that and he agreed, deciding this was a one time thing.
He didn’t meet random girls at the bar. He didn’t let them touch him like he was letting her do. He didn’t go home with them. But he made an exception that night.
And it was only once. They were only together once, but they awkwardly exchanged numbers the next day as he fumbled to get his clothes on and get out the door. Both claiming they would call, both knowing they never would. Azriel thought he’d never see that mess of blonde hair again. But he was wrong.
She came into Rhys’ bar all the time, somehow not realizing that the bartender was his best friend. She even hit on him quite a bit, an invitation Rhys politely but firmly turned down. Azriel always made eye contact with her but never acknowledged her, and she never seemed to even act like she recognized him. He knew it was better that way. No strings. It was done and over.
Until she stopped showing up at the bar for a few weeks and then one day his phone rang.
She was pregnant. She was pregnant and she was sure it was his.
He’d been at Rhysand’s when she called, had stepped out to the back porch to take the call. He’d vomited his lunch up onto the concrete slabs. His family - because that’s what they were, closer than friends - rushed out and watched him, his skin white as death, as he finished the conversation and ended the call, slipping it into his pocket.
“She’s pregnant,” was all that he said, and none of them had to ask who he meant. They had all seen them together that night.
So began an extremely frustrating 7 months for Azriel. He wanted to be a part of his child’s life, but she did everything in her power to keep him out. He’d call her almost daily, to find out when her next doctor’s appointment was. She’d lie, tell him a bogus date and time, and he’d show up at the OBGYN, only to find out her appointment had been the day before. She’d just claim she’d gotten the dates mixed up. He constantly asked what she needed for the baby and she’d say her parents had it covered. When he asked about the gender, she went ghost. He couldn’t get ahold of her for weeks and he nearly went out of his mind. She even kept him from the birth of his son, only finding out when a mutual friend shared a picture on Facebook.
He never tried to have a relationship with her. He didn’t want one and it was clear that she didn’t either. But just because he didn’t want a relationship with her didn’t mean she could keep him from having one with his son, his own flesh and blood.
After his meeting with the lawyers, which she just happened to never be able to make, he headed off to his parlor. He pulled off the interstate and started through town, passing Rhys’ bar and his apartment. The open sign was on and he debated stopping in, not for a drink but just to see his friend, to tell him about the latest mess she’d caused for him. He kept driving though and when he was less than a mile from his shop, he saw a red convertible pulled over on the side of the road. The hood was up and smoke was pouring out of it. The girl leaning against the trunk with her head in her hands looked so downtrodden that he felt it in his soul. He’d had a shitty day, too. Maybe he could help someone else’s be a little better.
He pulled his truck over to the side of the road behind her. She immediately lifted her head and looked up at him. This wasn’t a girl. This was a young woman. And she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever laid eyes on.
His hand froze on the door handle and he couldn’t tear his eyes away from hers. They were mesmerizing. Her hand fluttered to her chest and that small movement spurred him into motion. He hopped out and asked her, “Are you okay?”
His words seemed to snap her out of a trance of her own. She blinked once, twice and glanced back towards her car. “I- Yes, I’m okay. I was on my way back to work and my car just...stopped. It died.” She ran a hand through her brown hair, the sun bringing out the strands of gold. “I have to get back.” She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth and Azriel’s eyes snapped to her lips.
“I can give you a ride, if you want,” he said, throwing a thumb over his shoulder, towards his truck. He saw the hesitation on her face and gave her what he hoped was a soft smile. “Or I can take a look at it, if that would make you more comfortable.”
“Would you?” She asked, excitement ringing through her light voice.
“Of course,” Azriel said, removing his suit jack and tossing it in the passenger seat. He rolled his sleeves up, revealing the black ink that covered almost all of his body. He saw her eyes snag on whirls and swirls and made his way to the front of her car.
“I’m Elain, by the way,” she said, holding out her hand. He took it, shaking it once. “Better to do the introductions before you get all dirty.”
He laughed and nodded. “Agreed. I’m Azriel.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Azriel. Thank you so much for helping me.”
He blushed slightly. “It’s no problem. I couldn’t very well drive by without seeing if you were okay.”
She rolled her eyes and a small snort left her mouth. “It didn’t stop the rest of Velaris from doing so. I’ve been stuck here for almost 30 minutes”
He couldn’t explain why that made him angry, so instead of responding, he began exploring her car’s engine. He wordlessly moved hoses and opened caps carefully, letting the steam out as slowly as he could. He saw the gaping slash on the hose and stepped back, leaning a hip on the fender. “Well, do you want the good news or bad news?”
Her face paled. “Bad. Always start with the bad.”
He nodded. “Your radiator hose is busted. Not a hard thing to fix, but you definitely won’t be driving this back to work. The good news is it’s a really cheap fix.”
She groaned, face up-tilted towards the sky. “Of course.” She glanced back down at him, watching as he carefully lowered the hood. “Is that offer for a ride still available?”
He smiled at her and opened the passenger door. Elain glanced at the height into the cab and Azriel raised his brows, understanding dawning across his features. “Oh, sorry. It’s kind of a climb.” He grabbed a rag out of the back seat and whipped his hands off. After making sure his hands were absolute clean, he glanced to her waist. “May I?”
“Oh,” she blushed. “Sure.”
His hands wrapped around her slim waist and he lifted her up onto the bench. He made to shut her door and she said, “My purse!”
“Where is it?” He asked, already stepping toward her car.
“In the passenger seat, would you also grab the bouquet from the back?”
His eyebrows rose. “Sure.”
Heading to her car, Azriel thought of the reasons she would have a bouquet of flowers with her. She didn’t mention that she was on the way to the hospital, so condolences didn’t seem right. Same for the cemetery, though it wasn’t too far from here. He tried not to think of the most obvious reason, especially with how heart-stoppingly gorgeous she was: that she had a boyfriend. As he opened the rear passenger door, it became clear that had to be the case. The fluffy mass of peonies and buttercups was so lovingly made he knew it had to to cost a fortune. Only someone who cared for another so tenderly would be willing to pay that much for flowers.
Opening the door and stepping up into the truck, Azriel handed Elain her purse and flowers. He suddenly didn’t know what to say. Not that the short conversation they’d had was stellar by any means, but it had been easy.
“So,” he began, starting the truck. “Where am I taking you?”
He mentally slapped himself as he realized how rude that sounded. It didn’t seem Elain noticed though, gazing at the flowers, adjusting petals here and there.
She answered cheerfully, “You can just drop me off at Nova Café. I was planning on stopping there for lunch anyways, and I can walk to work from there.” She looked up and beamed at him. “Would you care to join me? My treat, for the ride and for looking at my car.”
Azriel only blinked at her. “I don’t want to cause any problems.” Now it was Elaine’s turn to stare blankly at him in confusion. “With your boyfriend,” Azriel clarified.
Elain laughed, placing a hand on her chest and blushing. “I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Azriel turned to look at her. “I just figured- With the flowers …” he trailed off.
“Oh, these aren’t for me,” Elain said, awkward laughter causing her the pitch of her voice to raise slightly. “No, I’m just delivering them. I did make the bouquet though.”
“You made that?” Azriel didn’t hide the surprise in his tone.
“Yes, that’s what I do,” Elain laughed. “I’m a florist. I own Bespoke Floral Boutique.”
The name was familiar in Azriel’s mind, but he couldn’t pinpoint how he knew it. “That’s amazing.” A genuine smile graced his features. “Lunch would be great.”
Nova Café wasn’t far from his shop, so it worked out well. They grabbed a quick bite to eat and chatted, the conversation flowing easily between them. Before he knew it, he looked down at his watch and noticed it was nearly 12:15. Elain had barely made a dent in her sandwich.
“I have an appointment at 12:30, so I’m going to have to get going” he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Elain had been taking a bite of her sandwich and covered her mouth as she chewed before asking. “Appointment? Are you a doctor?”
The incredulity on her face didn’t offend him, it just made him laugh. “Definitely not. I’m a tattoo artist.”
“Oh,” she said, understanding lighting up her brown eyes. “I can definitely see that. I don’t have any tattoos.” She lifted her arms up, showing off perfect, pale, creamy skin.
“Well if you ever want to change that, gimme a call.” He smiled at her as he stood.
Elain blushed but looked down. “How can I do that when you haven’t given me your number?”
Azriel’s eyes went wide. A blush began to creep across his face as well. Elain pulled a pen out of her purse and scribbled her number onto her napkin before she handed it to him. “It was nice to meet you, Azriel.”
“You too, Elain.” He gave a her a dazzling smile, and a wink as he slid the napkin into his pocket, before heading out to his truck and heading to the shop.
As he parked the truck and looked back to make sure it locked, he saw why her flower shop had seemed so familiar.
Across the street, in a building so unlike his own, hues of pink and yellow and orange contrasting the black and greys of his own, was Bespoke Floral Boutique.
Cassian had a love/hate relationship with the night before he went back to work for the school year. He loved the idea of getting his instruments out of the closet, cleaning them all up, and setting up his room for the months to come. He loved the excitement that thrummed through his veins when thinking about the hopeful students that would be walking through his door in a week’s time.
But, he hated that Summer would be ending and he couldn’t sleep in until noon or spend his days by the lake with his friends.
He decided to spend his last night at the bar, sitting alone, on his third beer, chatting with the bartender.
“Where’s Az?” Cassian asked, taking a tip from the cold, glass bottle. “Have you talked to him? I called about an hour ago. Never answered.”
Rhysand shook his head while he poured a dozen shots of tequila for the bachelorette party a few seats down. “No, which probably means it didn’t go well this morning.”
Cassian grunted. He hated that Azriel couldn’t see his son. The whole situation pissed Cassian off to no end. Azriel didn’t like to talk about it, though. None of them pushed him to talk about it, but they could see the toll it was taking on him.
“Maybe I should go check on him,” Cassian said, draining his bottle and tapping the bartop for another.
“Don’t,” Rhysand said, popping the top off another and placing it in front of his friend, his brother. “He doesn’t want to be bothered. Enjoy your last night of freedom.”
“You make it sound like I’m going to prison.”
Rhysand chuckled as he dismissed his friend to tend to a tall blonde at the other side of the bar. Cassian checked his phone. Still no text from Az, and it was getting late. He had to be at work at eight.
It was time to go.
After a brief wave to Rhysand and a quick chug of his beer, Cassian was hurrying out the door and was tossed into the bustling streets of Velaris.
Although a Sunday night, the city was still crowded with groups of friends and giggling couples captured by the beauty of the Sidra.
Cassian breathed in the fresh air, shoving his hands into his pockets. He had a high alcohol tolerance but still liked to walk to and from the bar, just in case. Besides, he didn’t live too far away from the building in which he spent most of his nights - at least the nights that Rhysand worked.
The stars were bright, shining through the quickly growing crowds. Typically, in the cities, the stars were diminished by the bright lights of the streets and the buildings, but not in Velaris. Cassian tilted his head back and watched as he strutted down the sidewalk.
“Watch it, asshole!”
Cassian felt it before he saw her.
His eyes darted down to his foot, which was on top of a small, heeled black boot. When he met the eyes of its owner, he cringed.
With eyes like ice, a young woman about a head shorter than him was glaring.
“Sorry,” he said, stepping back. “Wasn’t paying attention.”
“Obviously not,” she muttered.
She attempted to step around him but he followed her lead.
She took a deep breath as Cassian asked, “What’s your name?”
“Can’t your overly large feet take you somewhere that isn’t an inconvenience for me?”
Cassian grinned. “You know what they say about big feet.”
“They’re attached to idiots?”
As Cassian laughed, the woman once again stepped around him but this time, Cassian watched her go.
“It was nice to meet you!” he called.
She gave him a vulgar gesture before turning the corner behind Rita’s, into an apartment building.
Feyre didn’t even realize, as she picked at her boring salad, that she was tuning Tamlin out. Something about hearing him gloat about the major investment he secured at work for the thousandth time wasn’t as exciting to her as it was to him.
“Isn’t that right, Feyre?”
She jerked her head up, looking around at the table of his colleagues. His grass green eyes were boring into her own. She could read the annoyance in them, the aggravation that she wasn’t fawning over him like the other broker’s wives and girlfriends were. She’d been content to sit this dinner out, to stay at home and paint.
Tamlin had told her, in less than sincere terms, that wasn’t an option.
“I was just telling Dagdan,” he motioned to a dark haired man down the table, “that one more deal like this and there will be a ring on your finger.”
A year ago and that thought would have filled her with joy. A year ago and nothing would have excited her more than the prospect of being Tamlin’s wife. But things had become different between them lately. More strained. More tense.
He had begun to treat her more as an object than as the object of his affections.
The declaration drew her up short. “We’ve never discussed- Tamlin, I-.”
The woman sitting directly to Dagdan’s left, Brannagh, if her memory was correct, chuckled under her breath. The woman was near identical to Dagdan. Twin, sister, lover? Feyre couldn’t tell.
“Is something funny?” Feyre asked, setting her fork down.
Brannagh’s eyebrows rose and she looked like a cat that had just spotted a fat mouse to play with. Play with, before it consumed it bite by bite.
“Nothing is funny,” Tamlin interjected, quickly turning the conversation into safer territory. As they spoke about their work, Feyre again tuned the group out. She moved her salad to the side and began to pick out a piece of chocolate cake. She didn’t eat it, just mashed it to pieces and began to use her fork to make intricate swirls of icing on the plate. She brought the fork to her lips to clean it off.
The fork was snatched from her hand, the plate removed from in front of her before she could realize what was happening. She looked up to find Tamlin moving it down the table. His coworkers were all finishing up and it seemed as if they’d finally be leaving soon.
“What are you doing?” She asked, incredulity slipping into her tone.
“You don’t need that,” he said, and threw a brazen glance at her body. “You should probably start running with me in the mornings, too.”
That quiet chuckle from Brannagh again and Feyre was seeing red.
“Excuse you?” she whispered.
“Need to take care of your body, especially if we’re going to be getting married. I need you to look your best, baby.”
In a flash, Feyre was on her feet, glass of wine in her hand. And then...it wasn’t.
Then it was in Tamlin’s face. And his hair. And his crisp white shirt.
Without a word, Feyre grabbed her purse and walked out of the restaurant.
Her phone started buzzing before she’d even made it 20 feet from the door. She let it it ring and ring, surprised he hadn’t physically come after her. She continued to walk, trying to put as much distance between herself and the restaurant before he could decide to follow her.
It wasn’t long before the clouds that had been rolling in all day decided to finally open up and all at once, it began to pour. Feyre cursed and looked around, trying discern where she could go to get out of the rain.
A doorway was nestled into an alcove and Feyre saw the neon open sign was lit. She ducked inside and leaned against the wall.
She was drenched. Absolutely and totally drenched. Water dripped off of her dress and ran in rivulets down her legs. She ran a hand over her face and looked around. It was only then that she noticed she was in a bar. A completely empty bar, not even anyone behind the counter to mix drinks.
A glance at her watch told her why. It was 8:45 on Sunday night. Most people were at home with their families. Most people would be gearing up for the work week or ready for school.
The thought had Feyre walking farther into the room and sitting at the bar itself. She held her head in her hands and tried her hardest to keep the tears from sliding down her cheeks.
“I’m never one to assume, but I think you could use a drink.”
The alluring voice a few feet to her left startled her and she quickly sat up, looking in its direction. Violet eyes stared back.
He was the most beautiful man she’d ever seen.
“Do you want a drink?” He asked, quietly, hesitantly.
Feyre’s voice cracked as she whispered, “Please.”
He didn’t say anything, didn’t ask what she wanted as he turned around and poured two quick shots of whiskey, a glass of Coke, and set them down in front of her. He picked one of them up. “What’s your name?”
She picked her shot glass up and said, “Feyre.”
He clinked his glass against her own and said, “It’s nice to meet you, Feyre. I’m Rhysand,” and tossed the shot back.

Roger could faintly hear his phone ring from the edge of the pasture where his bag and the rest of his stuff was. He let out a sharp whistle, alerting his herding dogs Clover and Kit who immediately starting herding the sheep closer to the barn while he jogged towards his phone. A very unflattening picture of John was on his display and he chuckled lowly before accepting the call.
   “Deaks? What’s up?”
“Hey, sorry, I know you’re out with the sheep right now but I need to borrow your truck on Saturday.”
He frowned slightly and wiped the seat off his forehead, mentally already going through his to-do-list for the weekend. He knew John’s truck was still out of commission, waiting for replacement parts at Jim’s garage but the younger man also hadn’t worried about that because in their village, nobody really needed them anyway which is half of the reason only John and Roger had one in the first place.
“When and what do you need it for?”
“Somebody bought the Criston House and Miami asked me to fix the roof before the guy moves in but-”
“-but the supplies are at the factory, I got it. Yeah, you can have it, just bring it back by Monday.”
They exchanged a little bit of small talk then but both of them were busy and they quickly wrapped it up, not wanting to keep the other one. He put his phone back into his bag, quickly grabbed the rest of his things and walked back to the barn to have on last look at the sheeps, just making sure everything was alright, before calling his dogs and making his way back to the house.
He patted Clover’s head in passing, opening the door for his girls and they immediately slipped inside, making a beeline for the kitchen, knowing there were treats waiting for them. He followed them, laughing quietly to himself. After giving them their well-deserved treats he refilled their bowls and then went to take a shower.
Roger didn’t waste much time in the shower, he really only wanted to change into his sweatpants and curl up in front of his TV with something to eat. He knew he still had left-overs from back when he had been invited for dinner at Freddie’s parents place and he was already looking forward to eating it because his mother was an amazing cook.
Kit was trailing around his legs as he was heating the curry back up, wanting his attention and probably something of the meat but he chastised her softly and sent her off to play with her toys. He filled a bowl with his food and grabbed a beer and sat down heavily on the sofa, groaning happily. Immediately, Kit was with him again, jumping on the sofa and resting her head on his legs. Clover laid down on the floor in front of them, chewing on her teddy bear, her tail wagging happily. Roger turned on the TV, catching one of the crime shows he was following half-heartedly whenever he found the time to watch them.
“So, somebody bought the Criston House, huh?” He said to Kit, scratching behind her ear. “That’s a decision, I guess.”
The Criston House was an old house on the site next to Roger’s ranch. It had been empty for as long as Roger could remember and he hadn’t thought it would ever be sold but apparently he had been wrong. Bad for John as he was the guy people went to when things needed fixing but good for someone, Roger assumed.
The house was beautiful for a house that had been abandoned for over twenty years. Nice grey brickwork with ivy growing on it and a beautiful oak tree in the backyard and the river was running by closely. He had never been inside but from the outside, it looked like a nice house to live in. Except maybe for the roof which got a bit damaged over the years but John didn’t sound too worried about fixing it so it couldn’t be too bad.
“Looks like we’re getting a neighbour, girls.”
+++
A perk of having your friend work next to your house was definitely having lunch together. Most of the time, Roger didn’t have the time to sit down for a lunch but John had no issue with walking beside him, eating whatever lunch he had brought and holding Roger’s food when needed.
It was nice because it meant Roger had someone else then his dogs to talk to and work had kept both of them busy so they couldn’t hang out as much as they had wanted to. Neither of them was much of a gossip but then again, it was a small village and there wasn’t really much happening and so the most interesting thing was whoever didn’t make it to church on time. Or, in their case, the fact that Paul Prenter had let his car fix by a mechanic from a different town instead of going to Jim’s garage which was incredible stupid because Jim was the best mechanic Roger had ever seen and even if he couldn’t stand him, he’d get his car fixed by him.
“He’s being ridiculous.” John said, shaking his head.
“Yeah, but what’s new? I never really liked him anyway.”
John hummed in agreement, taking a bite out of his sandwich. Roger pulled his hair band out of his hair to gather them into a new ponytail since too many strands had escaped over time and had fallen into his face. John passed him a bottle of water and he drank almost half of it before giving it back. He nodded towards the Criston House.
“Have you met the guy who bought it yet?”
“Yep, met him a few days ago. Nice guy, tall, wild hair. Probably the type who gets on my nerve after a while but very polite.”
John shrugged, absently flipping the bottle in his hand a couple of times then put it back into his bag and shrugged again, this time pulling an unimpressed face. Roger snorted and gently knocked their shoulders together.
“But I guess we’ll see how he is soon enough. He wants to move in by, uh, end of August if I remember correctly.”
“Let me know if you remember the date. I don’t think Miami will let me live it down if I am late for a welcoming present again.”
He laughed and Roger slapped him playfully, grumbling under his breath.
“Well, you forgot the present for Freddie. And you literally annoyed us for months because you were so excited for him to move in. I don’t think Jim was so excited and they are married. And then you forgot the present.”
Roger threw his arms up and groaned in mock-frustration but John wrapped his arm around him, pulling him close and next thing he knew they were play wrestling and falling back into the grass, pushing and pulling at each other while yelling, cursing and laughing. John’s elbow digged harshly into his side and he let out a strangled breath before he managed to turn them around, effectively straddling his friend. Both of them were breathing hard but giggling, trying to outdo the other.
“Will you two ever grow up?” An old voice asked.
They quickly sat up- Roger flicking a clover out of John’s hair who stuck his tongue out at him- to see Mrs. Thompson, their former school teacher, standing just behind the fence, two big bags in her hands.
“I’m afraid not, Mrs .Thompson.” Roger chuckled.
She shook her head at them and they scrambled to their feet quickly, stuck somewhere between thinking this situation was embarrassing and being incredible amused by the whole thing.
“Do you need help with those bags, Mrs. Thompson?”
“At least your manners never were an issue.”
They quickly jumped over the fence which made Mrs. Thompson sigh quietly and shook her head again but she did let them take the bags from her, setting the way to her house not far from Roger’s.

Roger carefully wrapped the cheese into wax paper, sealing it with a sticker and placed it into the basket to the jam and sausages and quickly grabbed the bottle of wine he had bought for this, also adding it to the other things.
He brushed his hair out of his face. He really needed a haircut.
The basket was looking really nice and he wiped his hands on his shirt before grimacing and deciding he needed to change before he could go over to the new neighbor. He washed his hands and quickly changed into something he hadn’t been wearing out for taking care of the sheep. Only then he grabbed the basket and walked over to the house.
John had done a good job with the roof, not that Roger was an expert in these kind of things but it looked better than it did before. It had also been John who reminded him about the new guy moving in. Usually, he would have noticed things because a big moving truck was kind of a dead giveaway but Roger had been out of town yesterday and he was thankful for John because he would have forgotten it again.
Sometimes, he missed the big city. Nobody really expected you to know everyone or give every new neighbour something for moving in and nobody gossiped about you just because someone came late for church or whatever town festival was happening. On the other hand, he loved his hometown and he did move back here after all. He really couldn’t imagine himself in a different job besides being a sheep owner.
It took only a moment for his neighbour to get the door and Roger’s kind of fake, polite smile grew into something much more sincere.
He was pretty. Long, dark curly were framing his face and he had gentle, dark eyes. His sweater was too short, leaving his wrist and part of his lower arm bare and there was just a sliver of skin between his pants and the sweater but Roger quickly looked up again, not wanting to be caught staring.
“Hello, I’m Roger and I live next door. I, ah, just wanted to drop off a welcoming gift.”
The man smiled softly and took the basket from him, looking it over quickly.
“This is lovely but, um, I’m actually vegetarian.”
“Oh, sorry, I just take the sausages back then.”
They shared an awkward smile during the exchange and Roger cursed himself inwardly for making this meeting weird already.
“Oh, I’m Brian, by the way. Do you want to come in for a cup of tea?”
   “I’d love to.”
The house was nice. Roger had never seen it from the inside before but he assumed a house that had been empty for twenty years couldn’t look that great but Brian had done a nice job with the interior. Not that he had any real idea about what good interior design looked like since his house was basically a mismatched collection on old furniture still from his grandparents and the ikea furniture he had brought with him when he moved back after college. Brian’s furniture seemed to fit together most of the time, though, and everything was neat and tidy.
   “You have a beautiful house.”
   “Thank you.”
The kitchen had a door to the backyard and Roger could see a couple of his sheep grazing close to the fence and watched them while Brian made the tea.
“Do the sheep belong to you?” Brian asked.
He pulled two mugs out of a cabinet, looking to him for a moment before putting the kettle on the oven.
“Yeah, I sell their wool, milk and meat to others in the village. The cheese is made from milk of my sheep and so were the sausages but that’s not that important.”
“I only have jasmine tea and mint tea unpacked so far so, uh, I hope that’s fine.”
Roger nodded and smiled at him. Brian honestly didn’t look like the type of guy who would like to move into a village in the middle of nowhere. The only people who move out here were couples with young children because ground was cheaper here but except that, the people who lived here were the same families that had lived here since what seemed like forever. Some people, like Roger, left for a while to go to college and get a degree and some stay and don’t come back but some do.
Brian poured some water into the mugs and put both of them on the table, followed by the tea bags and some sugar and milk. Roger took a mint tea bag and added two sugars to it.
“So, what brings you here?” He asked.
“Ah, I’m a writer but I’m kind of stuck so I decided maybe a change of scenery would help.” Brian shrugged, then chuckled softly. “But I guess I’ll see that with time.”
Roger made an interested sound, his eyebrows lifting as he gestured for him to continue. Brian blushed. He laughed, sounding quite embarrassed.
“It’s nothing really. I wrote two books before and they did pretty well all things considering but the next one just doesn’t want to come to me as it seems.” He shrugged again and waved his hand through the air. “I just want to bring it to a good end, that’s all.”
He smiled, looking almost shy and Roger decided to prod a little bit because not only did it actually interest him- he didn’t always had the time to get into a book but he used his limited free times to find some good reads- but Brian seemed embarrassed talking about it. It was kind of sad, in a way, as he was obviously passionate about his writing and when Roger was passionate about something, he would talk about it with everybody, given the chance.
Brian was hesitant at first, quietly telling him about his Science Fiction novels but quickly realized that Roger really wanted to hear about it and his voice grew more sure and eventually, he was basically rambling, gesturing animatedly.
“That sounds really cool.” Roger said, drinking the rest of his tea. “But I’m afraid I have to go back to work now.”
“Thank you for stopping by. And thank you for the presents!”
+++
The next time Roger saw Brian was in his backyard and he waved at him from the distance, a grin appearing on his face when Brian waved back. He jogged over to where the fence separated his backyard from his pasture.
“Hey! How have you been doing? Settled in nicely?”
Brian smiled and nodded. Roger spotted a watering can in his hand.
“Hello, Roger. How are you doing?”
Roger jumped up the fence, sitting down on top of it, legs dangling above the ground as he grabbed the wood to steady himself. Kit and Clover trotted over to see what he was doing.
“Oh, good, busy with work, you know.”
He wiped his forehead, his shirt clinging to his body from the sweat and nodded at the watering can.
   “Planting something?”
“Oh, no, I don’t think I could.” Brian laughed. “It’s just pretty hot and I figured the bushes might need some water.”
Roger took him in, with his half-unbuttoned shirt, leaving his collarbone exposed, that was haphazardly tucked into his jeans and his curls were messy, looking as if he had been running his hand through it several times. He looked tired, too, dark shadows beneath his eyes.
“If you want to know how to plant things, you should talk to Jim. He owns the garage but also has a great garden. It’s relaxing, he says.”
Brian crouched down and reached through the fence to pet Clover’s head who yipped happily.
   “I don’t really think I will. What’s their names?”
“That’s Clover and this is Kit.”
He watched him scratch both dogs’ chins for a while, occasionally glancing back to his sheep. Brian cooed at the dogs for a moment longer, then he straightened up again. Roger smiled at him.
+++
Brian was out in his backyard alot and Roger often found himself caught up in conversation with him, idly chatting over anything as he watched over his sheep. Sometimes, they would talk about Brian’s books or Roger’s work but they quickly found other things to talk about like music and animals among other things.
Having a neighbour was nice, Roger realized. And Brian was nice, Roger might have developed a tiny crush on the man but nobody could really blame him because he was handsome and intelligent and didn’t know how to button shirts. It was distracting.
He started to look forward to seeing Brian, seeking excuses to keep talking with him even if it meant he had to miss his crime shows.
+++
Roger watched how Brian was cutting apples and took out a big bite out of one of the leftover apples as he sat on top of the kitchen counter. Brian was cutting them with practiced precision, his sleeves rolled up and Roger cocked his head to the side, humming softly.
His hair was pulled back into a ponytail so it wouldn’t hang into his face as he made his pie.
“Okay, help me out for a second: What even is a fall festival?” He asked.
Roger chuckled and wiped some juice off his chin.
“It’s just good food, music and lots of dancing. It’s fun and just the people hanging out.”
“I’m going to have to skip the dancing, I guess, but the rest sounds like fun.”
He frowned slightly before putting his apple to the side and jumping off the counter, clapping his hands.
“Come ‘ere. Dancing is easy. I can show you.”
Brian stopped cutting for a moment and laughed, shaking his head. Roger just clapped again, wiggling his fingers at him.
   “Come on, Bri! It’s fun!”
He shot him a long look, then sighed, placed the knife carefully to the side and wiped his hands on a towel. Rogers grin grew and he quickly grabbing him before he could change his mind again, pulling him close. He put one of his hands on his hip and placed his own on Brian’s shoulder. Brian’s hands were surprisingly rough.
“I guess you’ll be the one guiding so you put your hands like this.”
He started humming a song he knew would be played at the festival and just moved them along the steps of the dance. Brian was clumsy at first, stumbling over his own feet and stepping on his toes a couple of times but soon he caught up to it and they were dancing somewhat decently.
“There we go! You can dance!”
   “Barely, I can barely dance.”
Roger laughed, looking up at him. He was close enough now to smell him which should be way weirder than it was and he tried not to sniff him too obviously. It was a nice smell, clean and fresh but nothing Roger could clearly identify.
At some point, they had stopped dancing, more swaying back and forth in place. Only then, Roger noticed that they were actually really close to each other and that Brian’s hand had slipped from on his hip to the small of his back. His heart jumped in his chest and a blush rose on his cheeks. Hoping Brian wouldn’t notice it, he lowered his head a little bit, his forehead almost touching his shoulder.
He took a deep breath, trying not to immediately expose himself. Brian cleared his throat.
“Is there anything else than dancing?”
They were still swaying in place, the apples forgotten on the counter. Roger looked up quickly, shooting Brian a short smile.
“Uh, not really. It’s mostly about the food, the music and the dancing.”
Brian hummed softly, nodding to himself.
“I like that, I think. This kind of dancing, at least.”
   “What? What kind of dancing?”
Brian smiled at him, his hand squeezing his. Roger swallowed hard at the look on his face. He couldn’t quite discern it but it looked somewhat fond.
   “Slow dancing. It’s nice.”
There was a short, heavy silence as they were just looking at each other and then he chuckled, licked his lips and leaned down, pressing a short, chaste kiss to Roger’s lips. Roger blinked, taken by surprise and they stopped swaying, just standing close to each other as they kept looking at each other.
“Was that okay?” Brian asked quietly.
“Yes, yes it was. Completely okay.”
Another moment of silence followed, then they broke into giggles, leaning into each other. Roger hid his face in Brian’s chest, the taller man’s hand on his back gently pulling him closer and he wrapped his arms around him, his face red from laughter.
   “That was awful!” He laughed.
“Am I that bad of a kisser?”
Roger shook his head and pushed back far enough so he could lean up and kiss him again. It was a longer kiss this time, both of them moving with purpose this time but it was still chaste, just shy lips moving against each other. Brian’s hand slid up his back, cupping his neck.
They pulled away from slowly, smiling dopily at each other.
   “Better?”
Roger nodded, stealing another quick kiss before taking a full step back. He laced their fingers together and squeezed them.
“Uh, let’s finish your pie? And then maybe practice some more dancing?”
Brian laughed, throwing a quick look over his shoulder where the apples were and nodded.
   “Yeah, good idea.”
Roger sat back down on the counter and Brian went back to cutting the rest of the apples but they kept stealing glances at each other, unable to stop smiling.
“We could, uh, go to the festival together?” Roger asked.
   “I’d love that.”

I need a part 2 to that cocky Niall one! It could be like they’re teasing each other in front of their friends or something and smut ensues? Please with cherry on top?
I made the original request for the Niall smut you just did. I wasn’t the one who requested part 2, though. Glad others liked it enough to ask for another part! Not sure what exactly that person asked for, but if you do a part 2, I’d recommend not suddenly making Niall cutesie and nice. Like he should stay cocky. Maybe he ignores y/n after their romp like all the other girls, so she confronts him about it, but then he somehow gets her on her knees for him again. Just as cocky and controlling.
Tumblr media
Warning(s): sex and oral
POV: 1st
Read part 1 here!!
Thank you both so much for requesting! I fr struggled with this one and idk why so I’m really sorry if it sucks!
Also this isn’t proofread because imma lazy ass bitch
About a week had passed and I still couldn’t believe what I had done. It felt heavenly in the moment but now that’s it’s over, I regret everything. I still hated him but now I was one of his victims and for some reason, I wanted more. We hadn’t said a single word to each other since that day. Not that we were near each other 24/7, but he’s in my math class and I do see him occasionally roaming around the campus, yet we hadn’t spoken since. That’s why I’m upset and trying to get passed it because I know it was probably just a one-time thing.
I hooked up with a couple guys to try and get Niall off my mind and see if maybe they could help me leave it in the past, but it didn’t work. Nobody could make me feel like he did. I always judged the girls who always hooked up with him but now I see why and I lowkey want to do it again.
I was meeting up with a group of friends today at Anna and Connor’s apartment. They invited a couple of us over for dinner. Anna and Connor were the lovebirds of our friend group. They moved into their first apartment together last year and have been stable and happy ever since.
After getting dressed and putting on a little bit of makeup, I hopped into my car and began my quick journey to their house. Parking in front of their complex, I collected my belongings before making my way up the stairs to their home. I knocked on their front door and was greeted by a happy and enthusiastic Anna, “(Y/N), hi, how are you?“
“I’m good! How are you? I haven’t seen you in so long.” I teased because I literally saw her earlier today.
“I know right.” she giggled and I stepped into her house, kicking off my shoes.
The delicious smell of whatever they were making for dinner filled my nose. Their home looked absolutely beautiful, it was clean and gorgeously decorated.
It looks beautiful in here. I’m so impressed with what you guys have done. You’re so mature for your age like I could never pull any of this off right now.” I giggled, my eyes scanning the room.
“Awh, you’re too sweet.” she grinned as we both walked towards the living room where everyone was sitting and chatting.
I said my hellos to everybody as I sat at the end of the couch next to Jackson. I rested my arm on the armrest and began engaging in the conversation they were having while dinner cooked in the oven.
About half an hour later, there was a knock on the door. Anna stood up and made her way over to the door while we all continued to talk. My attention was taken away from the conversation when I heard Anna say, “Hey, Niall!" My heart dropped and the butterflies in my stomach began to erupt. Why was Niall here? Please tell me there’s another Niall on the campus that I don’t know about. I felt my palms begin to sweat as I heard the door close and I saw Anna and Niall walk into the room. We made eye-contact for a split second before he looked away, not even acknowledging that I was there. Niall sat down on a chair that Connor pulled over for him.
"Why didn’t you tell me he was gonna be here?” I scowled into Jackson’s ear.
“‘cause I knew you wouldn’t come if you knew he was coming.” he snapped back quietly.
I guess he was right, but some part of me wanted to see him again. We all continued with our conversation, climbing from topic to topic. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Niall, admiring all his features. His pearly whites flashing every time he laughed his adorable laugh, his eyes crinkling up. His blue eyes sparkled against the lighting in the house. We hadn’t said a word to each other yet and it was lowkey bugging me. All of the sudden, the oven beeped, telling us that dinner was ready. Anna hopped up and headed towards the kitchen and getting the lasagna out of the oven.
“Connor! Can you help me?” She called.
“Yeah.” he called back, standing up and heading towards the kitchen to help his girlfriend with dinner.
The rest of us carried on with our conversation while we waited for them to let us know when dinner was ready. A couple of minutes later, they called us over to the dinner table. The plates and silverware were neatly set at each seat, the delicious-smelling dinner steaming on plates and bowls for us to grab whatever we like. We all sat down and of course, guess who sits right across from me. That’s right. Niall. Out of all the seats to pick he picks the one across from me.
We got situated and began to dig into the food. The sound of kitchenware clanking together and the occasional “can you pass that bowl” were the only sounds filling the room. Once we had all finished getting our food, we began eating.
“This is so good, guys. Reminds me of how my grandma used to make it.” Molly smiled.
We all nodded, hummed in agreement.
“Thanks, guys,” Connor grinned, “But honestly it was all Anna. I can’t cook shit.”
“I mean, ’m not gonna lie, he once tried to make me pancakes on my birthday and almost burnt down the whole apartment complex. Literally, everyone evacuated because the alarms went off.” Anna grinned.
We all giggled, knowing full well that that’s something Connor would do.
“I dunno what happened? I looked away for one second and all the sudden the smoke alarm goes off!” he defended himself.
“That was an eventful birthday,” Anna giggled, mostly to herself.
The conversation began along the lines of bad cooking and fires. We all ate and laughed; just having a normal friend group conversation. Niall kept teasing me whenever he got the chance to throughout dinner and I decided that two could play his game.
“Stop tryin’ t’ seduce me.” I teased after he winked at me and hummed a sexual innuendo in response to the story I was telling.
Everyone giggled.
“’m not tryin’ t’. Unless ya want me t’.” he smirked.
I rolled my eyes and took another bite of lasagna.
“I thought you all hated each other.” Molly leaned over and whispered to me.
“I can’t stand him.” I hummed back.
“Oh okay,” she chuckled and I could tell she was still a little skeptical but I didn’t care.
The rest of the night, he continued to tease me and I’d tease him back. The time had come where everybody had to leave. We all said our goodbyes and thank yous and then made our way to our cars. Unlocking my car, I glanced up and saw Niall. Our eyes locked and he gave me a quick wink before hopping into his car. Even though I could’ve sworn my heart had skipped a beat, I rolled my eyes and opened my door, getting into the driver’s seat.
I slipped on my seatbelt and sighed. I groaned softly to myself as I reminisced the interactions I had with Niall today. I hated myself for giving into my temptations and doing that with him. I knew this would happen yet I still did it.
Shaking it off, I turned on my car and made my way back to my dorm, jamming out with myself to the music on the radio to get Niall off my mind.
***Another week had passed and surprise, surprise, Niall and I hadn’t spoken since.
I was really hurt. I don’t know why this was affecting me so much because I knew this would happen, yet I still let him get to me. It was my fault though. I gave in to my temptations and now I regret it.
I wanted to ask him about it and bring it to his attention. I was never good at confrontation and it always gave me major anxiety. But, I knew I had to do it if I wanted answers and not answers I just assumed. The problem is I just didn’t know when to do it. I told myself, “When the time is right, the opportunity will come up."
I entered the lobby of our campus to pick myself up some Starbucks. As I walked in, I spotted Niall sat on the couch in the corner alone, working on something. I didn’t realize the opportunity would show up so soon. I took a second and debated whether or not I should do it, mentally giving myself a pep talk. I slowly walked over to him, my palms sweating and the butterflies in my stomach violently attacking each other. I stood in front of him and he looked up at me with those tantalizing eyes.
"Can I talk to you?” I asked, my heart beating at a thousand miles per minute.
“Sure.” he hummed, setting his books down on the table in front of him.
I sat down next to him and positioned myself so I was facing him, glaring at him.
“What?” he snapped, impatiently waiting for me to say what I wanted to say.
“So you just gonna do me like me that and then never talk to me ever again?”  “What'dya mean?” he asked.
“Are you serious right now?” My temper began to rise, not actually believing he was going to act like this.
He just gave me a look that said, “What?”
“You’re jus’ gonna act like we didn’t have sex."
"No,” he trailed, “I know we did."
"Then why haven’t you talked to me since?"
"Um, yes I have. I talked to you literally a week ago at Connor’s."
"Yeah, that’s it, you - ugh,” I groaned.
“What da hell do ya want me t’ say t’ ya. I got nothin’ t’ say. We hooked up, ya just expect me to become yer best friend or some shit?”
“God, you’re such a prick. I can’t believe I let myself do that with you. I knew this shit would happen, yet I didn’t stop you."
"Ah come on, don’t say that.” A smirk appeared on his beautiful, pink lips.
“It’s fucking true. I knew you’d do this.” I scoffed, “God, I can’t believe myself. I’m never doing that again.” I mumbled to myself mostly.
“Don’t tell me you didn’t like it."
I rolled my eyes. Of course I liked it! And I told him that.
"No, of course I liked it! That’s why ’m so upset about it!” I tried my best not to raise my voice. He chuckled deeply and I glared at him. He licked his lips before biting his bottom one. God, those lips. (Y/N) stop.
“What’s there t’ be upset about? Ya got t’ fuck me. Not every girl gets that.” he spread both arms out, resting them on the couch ledge behind us, a smug look planted on his face.
“Uh yes, every girl gets that.” He just chuckled.
“Pretty irresistible, aren’t I?” he teased, “Got girls left and right in me bed. Once I gotcha I don’t need ya anymore and I move on."
I couldn’t help but watch as his lips moved with every word that left his mouth. I imagined what it felt like to kiss those gorgeous lips and to run my fingers through that gorgeous hair. He finished speaking and I shook myself from my thoughts and thought about what he said, "You know how awful that is? You’re literally using girls like they’re toys."
He shrugged.
"God, I can’t stand you. You’re such a fucking dick.”
“Oh please, don’t fuckin’ act like you don’t wanna kiss me right now. I see ya staring at me lips."
I didn’t say anything and just glared at him. He was right. I was using everything in my power not to kiss him. But damn, he was so fucking hot and his lips looked so soft and so kissable. The cocky smirk stayed on his face as he leaned over. His lips were inches from mine when I closed my eyes, feeling those soft lips mold against mine. Moving in sync, I began to let my mind wander to what he was capable of and how good he could make me feel. Pulling away from my lips, he trailed kisses along my jaw and to my earlobe.
"I know ya want me t’ fuck ya again like I did,” he whispered into my ear, taking my earlobe between his pearly whites, nibbling it gently, “Want me t’ take ya from behind like dat, have ya cumming all over me cock? Hmm?"
He let his hand slid into my inner thigh and under my skirt. He began feeling my wetness that was leaking through the fabric of my panties, putting pressure on my clit and rubbing it in circles. Luckily, there weren’t many people around, and the people that were around definitely weren’t paying attention to us.
"Soaked fer me already, huh?"
"Not here,” I breathed out, my voice cracking as I wrapped my hand around his wrist, my eyes continuously scanning the room to make sure no one was noticing.
“Know ya liked sucking me cock, having me hit da back of yer throat, yeah?” he continued on with his dirty words and I found myself mindlessly digging my nails into his skin.
“Niall, not here,” I repeated, my breath hitching in my throat.
“Come t’ me car.” he hummed, grabbing his books and standing up.
I followed him out of the lobby and down the street. We arrived in the parking lot where his black, range rover was parked. He quickly unlocked the door and tossed his bag into the trunk. He opened the door and we both climbed into the back seat. Closing the door behind me, he reached over the front seat and locked the door.
He sat back in the middle seat, resting his body on the black, leather seats. Patting his lap, he murmured, “C'mere.”
I bit my bottom lip and straddled his lap. I cupped his face with my hands, his scruff tickling the skin of my palms. I pressed my lips to his lips, moving in sync with him. Taking a little bit of control, I plunged my tongue past his lips, exploring his mouth. He caught on and our tongues began to fight for dominance. His hands began to roam my body, landing on my bottom, squeezing what he could in his big palms. Soft sounds of approval fell from my lips as I kissed him. I melted into him, losing the battle and letting him take control.
“Grind yer hips on m-” he began before I started to grind my hips against his, “Dere ya go. Yer such a good girl."
The friction from our clothed cores made electricity flicker through my body and my heart beat out of my chest a hundred miles per hour. His hands slipped under my shirt, running up and down my back, feeling the soft skin. I let my hands braid through his brunette locks, tugging at them gently. Moving his hands around my body and up my torso. He cupped my breasts in the palm of his hands over the fabric of my black bra. Trailing his kisses down my body, he pressed them all against my jaw and on my neck. Sucking and licking the skin, I hummed in approval. I let my head fall back and my fingers massage his scalp.
"Take yer top off.” he mumbled, pulling on the hem of my light purple shirt.
I obeyed him and crossed my arms, pulling my shirt up and over my head. Tossing it to the side, he slid his hands behind my back and unclasped my bra. He grabbed the straps and pulled them down my arms, tossing my bra with my shirt. My chest was now fully exposed to him. My nipples hardened at the sudden change of temperature. He licked his pink lips as he stared at my breasts, cupping them in his hands again. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling.
I felt his lips against my skin again, moving south before they were placed against the swell of my right breast. He wrapped his lips around my nipple, sucking and licking at it.
“Mmm, such pretty tits,” he mumbled against my warm skin.
I hummed, looking down at the top of his head and watching his lips move against my sensitive nub. Nibbling gently, I gasped, my back arching slightly into him. He gave the same amount of attention to my other breast before moving his kisses back up to my lips. He moved them in sync with mine again as I began to grind my hips against his again. His lips were soft, almost like flower petals. They were sweet against my tongue and the smell of his manly cologne filled my nose.
“Suck me off, baby,” he murmured against me.
I smiled softly, trailing my kisses down his neck, pressing my lips against all his little freckles. He grabbed onto the collar of his white, cut out, tank top, pulling it over his head and adding it to the pile of clothes next to us. I tried to get on my knees but there wasn’t enough room to get comfortable with the driver’s seat behind me.
“Can you move the seat for me?” I giggled, sitting in the middle seat.
“Yeah,” he hummed, slipping his hand past the seat and pulling on the lever that moved the seat. He pushed the seat as far forward as he could so I had room to get on my knees. Luckily, I wasn’t too big and I had just enough room to sit comfortably on my knees in front of him.
I slipped my fingers past the elastic band of his basketball shorts, tugging at them, acknowledging him to lift his hips so I could take them off. And that’s exactly what he did. He lifted up his hips and I slid his shorts, as well as his boxers, down his fit legs. His clothes were loose enough to get past his feet, I didn’t even bother asking him to take off his gym shoes. Once he was fully exposed to me, I dropped his clothes to the side and licked my lips as I stared at his throbbing member in front of me. Looking up at him, he was looking down at me, anxiously waiting for me to start.
I wrapped my palm around his shaft, pumping it. I slide my thumb across his red tip, spreading around his precum to make it easier. I began to kitten lick his head, taking it between my lips and sucking harshly. He grunted, threading his thick fingers through my long hair. Knowing that if I teased him too much I would definitely have to pay for it so, I went straight in and took him in my mouth.
Beginning to bob my head, I looked up at him. He had his bottom lip trapped between his pearly white set of teeth and his eyebrows furrowed together as he watched me. I hollowed out my cheeks, the sounds of my mouth, his breathing and occasional moans filling the car. My panties were soaked with my arousal as I felt my tummy twist as I pleased him.
Letting his lip pop back into place, he parted his lips, soft breaths leaving his throat. He closed his eyes and let his head fall back against the black headrest. Lifting up one hand, he ran his thick fingers through his hair, playing with the soft strands. I let out a hum and I felt his body shiver. Tugging on his own locks, his tongue slipped out to the corner of his mouth, dampening his lips. Releasing off of him, I licked up the undersides of him like a popsicle, my fingertips gently massaging his sensitive head.
“Jesus,” he moaned.
I grinned softly, confidence overtaking my body. I took him back in my mouth momentarily, bobbing my head again. My lips were wrapped tight around his shaft, my tongue licking up and down as my head moved. With my right hand pumping what wasn’t in my mouth, my left hand was placed on his thigh, my nails gently digging into his soft skin.
Releasing off of him again with a soft popping sound, I wrapped my pink lips around his tip. Licking up and down on his slit, I swallowed every last bit of the salty precum oozing out of him. I began to swirl my tongue around his sensitive tip and I saw his stomach clench. He gathered up all my hair and held it away from my face, squeezing it tightly as the pleasure rose. I pressed him up against the side of my cheek, rubbing his tip back and forth against my cheek. Pumping what wasn’t in my mouth, he let out a moan, “So fuckin’ sexy with me cock in yer mouth."
I looked up at him and my eyes made contact with the beautiful blue orbs he had. God, he was so attractive. Those plump pink lips of his were parted, the scruff he had grown out complimenting his sharp jaw, and his beautifully shaped eyebrows were furrowed together. His bare chest was adorned with hair and sweat, his chest rising up and down with every deep breath he took.
I felt my jaw begin to get a little sore and a little tired. Coming off of him with a soft pop, I trailed sloppy kisses down his shaft until I got to his balls. Cupping them in my left hand, I used my right hand to pump his shaft. I gently began to massage his balls, looking up at him through my mascara-coated lashes. His soft, pink lips were parted and his eyebrows were furrowed together as our eyes locked together. I broke the eye-contact when I dipped my head down and began to press gentle kisses to the sensitive skin of his balls. I stuck my tongue out and began to draw patterns. Moans and hums of approval fell from his throat. His chest rose up and down, a thin layer of sweat coating his tan and toned skin. After giving his other ball the same amount of attention, my jaw had finally gained its strength again.
Smiling softly at him, I traced his prominent veins with the tip of my tongue, all the way up until I got to his pulsing tip again. Taking it past my lips, I sucked on it like a sucker, swirling my tongue and hollowing my cheeks out.
Deciding to take it a bit further and bring him to his orgasm faster, I released him from my mouth again and gave myself a second to prepare for what I was about to do. While my mouth wasn’t on him, my hands still were, pumping him vigorously. His hard length was coated with a thin layer of my saliva.
Once I had mentally prepared myself, I relaxed my throat and took in his full length. My nose was nuzzled in the little patch of hairs at his pelvic bone as his tip hit the back of my throat. My eyes watered and I tried my best to hold back my gagging. A low moan rumbled from out of his throat and his grip on my hair tightened. Coming off of him, I looked up at him.
"Don’t fuckin’ stop,” he breathed out, pushing my head back down onto his hard member. Making sure to breathe through my nose, I took him in again, letting him hit the back of my throat with every bob of my head. Humming against him, low moans and groans fell from his lips. Since my hands were completely free now, I placed both of them on either one of his thighs, digging my nails into them, leaving scratches for later. The tightening of my throat when I gagged on him had him a moaning mess.
He tightened his grip on my head, so tight that I couldn’t move. Staying still with his tip just past my lips, he began to take control of my head and move t at his own pace. I relaxed my head and let him do whatever he wanted. Moving it up and down quickly, his tip hit the back of my throat with every thrust of my mouth he made. Tears began to build up in my eyes and my gag reflux was acting up.
“Ya like suckin’ on me cock, yeah?” he smirked, “Like when I fuck yer mouth like this? Gotcha gagging on me cock. Bet yer soaked right now."
He was so smug about it honestly made me want to smack him. But, god, he was so right. His dirty words had the pressure in my abdomen tighten and my panties soaked. I swallowed him down and my long nails dug into the skin of his thighs even harder. I looked up at him through my lashes and every time my head came back up, I saw him watching me. Pornographic moans left his lips, his face contorted with pleasure and sweat coated his handsome body.
Feeling my throat get a little sore, I whined and he let go of my head, his hips bucking up. I came off of him with a soft pop, swallowing any extra saliva and wiping my eyes quickly. I wrapped my palm around his shaft and took his tip to my lips again, sucking violently.
"Such a dirty girl, arentcha?"
I hummed, licking up his shaft before taking him in my mouth. I pushed his tip to the side of my cheek, rubbing it up and down. Bringing it back just past my lips, I sucked on it again, swirling my tongue in every direction on it. My hand was pumping his shaft while my mouth worked on his sensitive tip, doing everything in my power to get him to his orgasm.
"Mmm, stop, gonna cum,” he whimpered, pulling me away from his member.
Wiping my mouth with the back of my hand, I grinned up at him. Snaking back up his sweaty body, I straddled his lap again. Pressing my lips against his, my tongue roamed his mouth, letting him taste himself. His hands ran up and down my body, feeling every inch. Moving his fingers south, he fumbled with the button on my jean shorts. After popping the button open, he pulled down the golden zipper and slide his hand into my pants. He pressed his thick fingers to my clit over the fabric of my light blue panties, beginning to rub it in circles. He moved them further down and began to feel how my wetness had soaked my panties, “Jesus, gotcha soaked t'rough yer panties, didn’t I?"
"Mhm, got me so wet,” I murmured, “just for you."
"Dat’s right,” he mumbled against my lips, giving my bum a good smack, “Why dontcha take these off fer me?"
Rolling off of his lap, I sat down on the seat next to him, lifting my hips and sliding my shorts, as well as my panties, down my smooth legs. Now that we were both completely naked, I began to climb back onto his lap, but he stopped me, "Hang on. Gotta put a condom on."
I mumbled and ’okay’ and relaxing back against the seat. He reached over and lifted up the middle compartment, pulling out a pack of extra large condoms, tearing off one and dropping the rest back in before slamming the lid shut. Leaning back in his seat again, he fumbled with the wrapper. Once he successfully got it open, he pinched the tip and rolled it onto himself.
"Lemme lay down an’ you can ride me.” he ordered, adjusting his body and beginning to lie down across the seats.
While he got comfortable, I positioned myself on his lap, straddling his hips. I grabbed onto his member and ran his tip against my clit and up and down my soaked slit, teasing both of us. Placing his tip at my entrance, I sank down onto him. I placed my hands on his hairy chest to support myself. I began to grind my hips against his and the pleasure immediately began to rise. He placed both of his hands on my hips, deepening my grinds.
“Yer s'warm,” he moaned.
I let out a soft whine, feeling as his veins ran against my tight, wet walls with every thrust. The familiar feeling of him in my stomach sent me to heaven. I dreamed of the day where we did this again. My grinds sped up and my body began to physically react to him. My muscles began to tense and my breath hitched. My body began to feel like jelly and I let it gently fall on top of his chest, keeping my hips grinding against his. I attached my lips to his neck, kissing every single one of his freckles that I could reach with my lips.
He grabbed my head and moved it so it was hovering above his. He cupped my face and crashed his lips onto mine. Our tongues and lips moved in sync. I let my muscles squeeze around him and he moaned against my lips, “Mmm, do it again."
I continued to let my walls clench and unclench around him. Curses fell from his lips and his hands fell to my hips again, his fingertips digging into my skin. The sweat began to bead on our bodies. I felt his warm breath fan across my shoulder with every breath he took and it sent pleasureful shivers up my spine.
"Oh god, you feel so good,” I moaned, grabbing onto his soft hair and tugging on it.
“Fuck,” he breathed out, “Tell me more."
I continued to moan praises into his ear, feeling him twitch inside of me. My stomach clenching and my thighs trembling with bliss. I sat up, placing both hands on his hairy chest for support. Making eye-contact with him, I continued to move my hips against his. My breasts bounced with each thrust of my hips. He reached up and groped both my breasts in his hands, massaging and squeezing them. His fingers rolled my nipples between his calloused fingertips.
I watched him admire my body. The hickeys defining his neck, his skin glowing and sweat beading upon it. His cheeks have flushed a shade of light pink and little strands of hair were stuck to his wrinkled forehead. His untrimmed scruff characterized his sharp jawline and his usual blue eyes were overtaken by a dark layer of lust. He was fucking gorgeous in my eyes. "Get on yer knees an’ I’ll take ya from behind."
Obeying his words, I got off of his lap and sat back next to his feet before he sat up. It was a bit hard to move around since we were so crammed but we managed and I was soon on my knees with my ass in the air for him.
Lining himself up again, he rammed into me and I let out a moan. Gaining his speed again, his hips smacked against mine. The only sounds I could hear was the cars and occasional voices outside the car, our heavy panting and the moans that spilled from our lips. The smell of sex and leather filled my nose. The car shook slightly with each hard thrust he did with his hips. The pleasure he was giving me had me seeing stars behind my squeezed shut eyelids.
"s'good.” I mumbled, sinking my teeth into my forearm, not wanting to be loud enough for the people outside the car to hear.
Gathering all my hair in his one hand, he tugged on it, making my head fall back. My breath hitched in my throat and I felt my heart skip a beat. The angle and deepness of his thrusts were heavenly. He let go of my hair, letting it sprawl on my back again. I felt my orgasm coming up and I knew it would seconds until I released.
“Gonna make me cum, don’t stop,” I whimpered, digging my nails into the leather of the seats.
“Do it, cum fer me.” he grunted.
And a few thrusts later and he had me trembling with pleasure under him. The tight ball in my tummy had exploded and shot off into the clouds. I was taken over with bliss and saw stars behind my squeezed closed eyelids. Not even seconds later, I felt him twitch inside of me, signaling he had released. Our moans collided and filled the car. His moans were like music to my ears.  He slowed down his thrusts, letting both of us ride out our highs.
The moans subsided and were taken over by our heavy breathing as we both came down from the clouds. He pulled out of me and sat down, letting his head fall back against the headrest. I sat up and did the same. I scooted next to him and pressed my lips to his again for one last passionate kiss before we began to get dressed again.

Who let me watch 5.06?
I should be doing an assignment that’s due tomorrow but ya know due tomorrow means do tomorrow. Lol I know I should be ashamed to be a procrastinator but university has ruined me anyway. I’m tired from literally going to one lecture haha, but in any event I’ve been rewatching mad men for the who knows what time but I thought I’d take a break from all that and watch an episode of CtM & @flyingnonny inspired me to do a reaction post so why not? I decided on 5.06 since last Sunday’s episode reminded us of that camping trip 😂😂  here goes nothing..
*skips intro bc I’m impatient*
Cute community moment ☺️
TRIXIE😍 slaying my life
Shelagh looks so good too 😍 and Angela melting my heart!
Why is shelagh forever wearing cardigans? I like cardigans every now and then but all the time, really?
Everyone is sitting outside, Trixie is in a sleeveless dress, as is Barbara, so it has to be warm?? take it off Shelagh
She’s still my bby though even if I don’t always agree with her fashion choices
what gross vejo pinching Trixie’s ass? That’s not ok
And Babs too lmao, creepy old man, die
Shelagh saying “hello dear” aw
But this is like the only interaction between Shelagh and Trixie & that does not suffice !!
ALL I WANT IS FOR THEM TO HAVE AN ACTUAL FRIENDSHIP IDC HOW MANY TIMES IVE SAID IT I REALLY Want it😭😭💕💕 my two fav bbys
I HAVE EVEN GIVEN REASONS WHY & I CAN GIVE THEM AGAIN ***        1) Why not?? Shelagh has like no real friends besides her husband and sort of Sister Julienne?
 2) just please, because I’m asking nicely                                                     3) When Shelagh was Sister Bernadette she was often friendly/ in the gossip and conversation with the nurses & remember that one time Trixie grabbed her to come listen to Jenny’s phone conversation?
4) Trixie was the only one besides Sister Julienne to visit her in the sanatorium. That has to count for something!                                             5) They’ve both been on the show since day 1 & have known each other the longest (besides the nuns) why wouldn’t they be friends or least actually speak to each other?
Aye this is the lady who’s fake pregnant
Shelagh wearing earrings though >> here for it
Sorry there will be a lot of gushing over Shelagh and Trixie
And also I WANT TRIXIE’S HOOP EARRINGS SO BAD, where can I find them??
And how do I get her clothes and figure and her everything lol?
PHYLLIS ! My champion
“Would it have killed you to sit down for five minutes and eat the whole thing!” I LOVE HER, SHE IS A GEM, A HERO, A BADASS & IM NOT READY FOR SUNDAY. IM GOING TO BAWL WITH AND FOR HER
she deserves the best
I think this is the only time I’ve ever heard Trixie address Shelagh by her first name?? a prob.
They need to interact more 😭💔💕😍 I will stop saying it when I’m dead even then I’ll prob say it
Actually when I think of it no one ever calls Shelagh by her first name besides obviously Patrick? And Sister Julienne
#MoreShelaghAndTheOtherNursesInteracting2k17aka1962
And I need at least two seconds of them dotting on pregnant Shelagh
Helen looks so good like goals
“I threatened to put one man over my knee but that only encouraged him” HA IM DEAD NO KINK SHAME
I think there’s been a similar joke before but fuck it it’s still funny to me
But seriously everyone loves Trixie lol how could you not though?
Hey Pats, it’s been a while
Lol omg Tim in that uniform.. Not the best costume 😂😂
Never seen Whistle Down the Wind
But you see, Tom and Babs making out as usual, I’m not knocking it lol but this is why Sister J told her to chill when they went to South Africa😂
also lowkey jealous bc Jack Ashton is handsome af and that could’ve been me but it’s all good. He and Helen are adorable together and I’m here for it x10000
Omg I forgot this lady got assaulted
Oh shit I just remembered this is the episode where sister MC is attacked FUCK WHY DID I WATCH THIS
she can’t report it bc she’d get arrested for soliciting wtf
But remember Shelagh wore the headbands in like series 3 (so glad she stopped I was not here for it)? They must’ve gave them to Babs lol
I forgot Trixie didn’t tell the nurses about AA yet
But she looks gorgeous as ever, even with her mascara running
Lowkey nauseas looking at all that fish ugh. Funny becuase they put a grocery store that has a fish market on the block up from where I live in NYC and I hate it
I forgot about Peter lol and he was in an episode this series whoops
LIKE WHERE’S YOUR WIFE LOL, *I know, too busy for this, I don’t think she’d fit in the series anymore anyway*
Sister Mary Cynthia 😰❣️
Lol she doesn’t sing loud enough ??
Sister Julienne is so cute when she smiles but don’t forget she’s a badass
REMEMBER THE AGGRESSIVE JACKET FLAP BC OF THE IRRITATING SISTER URSULA
How did this girl hide her pregnancy though?
And did her brothers just not realize she was pregnant and the mother wasn’t?
Oh jeez my cousin was a colic-y baby and my parents kept him like 3 days a week when I was in high school & it was a nightmare. I didn’t sleep for so long
Dont get me wrong I love babies. But when they scream when I’m trying to sleep, nope. Return to sender.
Shelagh is so excited about camping it’s the purest and most adorable thing 😭😭And I like her shirt
Shelagh made Tim copy the napkin folding from a magazine, SHE IS A GEM
“We never have serviettes on a weeknight” wtf did they just not use napkins every day? I’m confused Lmaoo. What am I missing here 😂omg that reminds me of one of the times my family and I went on a cruise (2006, hella long time ago already wow?? 11 yrs yikes) and my brother & cousin were late to dinner and lied to my mom & aunt saying they were at a “napkin folding class” & my family deadass believed it up until 2 years ago😂
Shelagh’s accent is so cute. I’ve said that many times but it’s so sweet. But again why do we just have to accept she’s Scottish with no context as to how/why she came to England? Like I’m sure there were convents in Scotland. I dont even care that much I just will forever be curious as to why it seems she had no life before she got married lol? Like they don’t ever bring up the fact she was a nun, but ok maybe she feels awkward talking about it but what about before?
They’re so excited it’s so precious, protect this family 😂😭💕💕
Sister MJ is fasting lol I should try it😂
Omg another dumb story, I didn’t realize today is Ash Wednesday and was hella confused seeing some people with ash on their forehead 😂😂 I should give up something for lent but idk what, we shall see. My mom gave up carbs last year & I died bc I lived at home and ate what she cooked and almost all my fav foods are carbs😂
Shelagh referred to Patsy as Patsy, I’ve only ever heard her say Nurse Mount??
lol Tim you’re what 14? you know damn well those arent* bullet holes
at least he has some of his innocence still. I didn’t @ 14
Sometimes I forget I’m gonna be 19 this year wtf. I’ve accidentally told people I’m 16 before and had to correct myself 😂😂
Patrick is excited about this holiday, boy you don’t know what’s coming 😂
HE’S GONNA ATTACK THE LADY WITH A BABY I FORGOT THAT TOO WTF
I wanna fight him
Diane’s anemic ? Or her mum is just assuming
SHELAGH IN HER CAMPING OUTFIT!! The hair scarf and trousers !! I’m so here for it 😍😭
I want to see her in another pair!! yes lets get it 1962. Probably not likely this series but hopefully next series!! Ah can’t wait
Shit this series is almost over 💔💔 but omg 1963 gonna be lit as well?!
Like the space race started/orbiting the earth, Kennedy’s assassination .. wait never mind lol I’m thinking of American History moments. but still a lot of it was crazy world news so maybe it’s mentioned?? first bond film came out in'63, petition for Tim to go take Susan whatever from around the corner to see it since we know he liked the novels
Lots of famous films came out in ‘63 so there’s gotta be some reference.
Fun fact: I love pop culture references in period drama bc I’m lame jk I’m majoring in education (to teach history)
Old news but still relevant: Phyllis’s turn on: Rolodex systems 📇
“CRANE, as in the wading bird or industry lifting equipment, whichever you prefer” LOVE U PHYLLIS, YOU CORRECT HIM
PHYLLIS’S FACE WHEN GODFREY SUGGESTS SHE CAME OUT OF RETIREMENT, IM DEAD
“I shall consider retirement when I’m at the appropriate age”  IM LAUGHING SO HARD, FUCK YEA PHYLLIS. I LOVE HER SO MUCH, LINDA BASSET IS ON THE LIST WITH LAURA AND HELEN OF PEOPLE WHO COULD PUCH ME IN THE FACE AND I’D THANK
LOL SHELAGH JUST STANDING AWKWARDLY LISTENING TO THIS CONVERSATION
“Buenos vacaciones”  I NEED MORE PHYLLIS WORKING ON HER SPANISH I LOVE IT, Ella es oro.
lol the roof rack, bet it was Phyllis’s they borrowed when they moved
PHYLLIS’S FACE OF DISGUST WHEN DR GODFREY SMILES AT HER IS ME ALWAYS
LOL THE THE NURSES & SISTER WINIFRED DYING OVER PATRICK’S SHORTS (EVen though sister W “swears she’s not looking”)
I THINK THE SOCKS AND WHITE DAD SANDALS ARE MORE AMUSING 😂😂
Poor Judith💔
It’s a vicious attack Sister J! But you don’t know it yet so I get u
Here comes summer..😂
SETTING UP IN THE POURING RAIN LOL
Shelagh and Angela being adorable !!
Tim and Patrick proud that  they set the tents up & boom it falls 😂 which is symbolic for me taking exams, I think I did well or at least decent on them and then I find out I failed by like 5 points
Nonnatus table scenes <3 😭
”I’ve seen more dangerous marshmallow bunnies“ lmao Pats this is a serious moment I shouldn’t laugh
Shelagh took off her glasses 😉😏 but fr how is Laura Main so perfect
Patrick put scotch in its lit, pass it over😏
Lol Shelagh drinking is a strange thought but I’m so here for it. Nuns can’t drink right? Idk. Imagine her drinking alcohol for the first time and just getting drunk 😂 we know Patrick and Tim are lightweights getting drunk off one beer so I assume shelagh would too😂
Damn it Patrick, you spilled your cup. Furthermore proving you’re a disaster 😭
LMAO SHELAGH’s “WTF” FACE WHEN SHE ASKS PATRICK WHAT HE’S THINKING ABOUT AND HE SAID THE ULCER CLINIC
LIKE C'MON PATRICK YOU KNOW WHERE SHELAGH WAS TRYNA GO WITH THAT😂
“And if you don’t mind my saying so, you’re not exactly Cliff Richards yourself” SHELAGH 😂😂 another great line of hers, love it
I love their playful banter lol we need more of that 😂 but lets be real series 6 has had some of the greatest Shelagh and Patrick moments so I can’t complain 😭😍
Peter and Barbara is such a unusual dynamic haha
“How is chummy?” Wait does Babs even know Chummy? I don’t even remember if they met tbh
But for real Shelagh did you really think Patrick would just forget about work completely ??
Lol Angela crying because she is petrified of squirrels😂😂and Shelagh running to her is so cute.
Why didn’t she just get rid of the *creepy* squirrel nutkin book? it seemed like they still had it in series 6 haha
rice pudding is I think the same as aroz con leche, lol it’s gross sorry
Diane’s water broke oh shit
the Turners all in the tent playing I spy bc it’s raining haha
I went camping for the first and last time this past summer w/ my sister in laws & her friends, it was awful 😂😂 I got like 100 mosquito bites that became welts, i literally slept in the car the second night & it was mid July fairly south of east coast aka it was humid and sticky af , there were wild horses that walked around..Thank God they brought alcohol cause it was a nightmare I don’t wanna remember 😂😂
ANGELA IS SO CUTE UGH & ANOTHER GREAT SHELAGH FACE😂
lol yes go to a hotel, should’ve done that from the get
So what exactly does Fred run? some civil defense thing?
She’s in labor and can’t even scream omg, I’m screaming
“They are often incorrect in their opinion” Sister MJ is a gem. I want someone to look at me the way Sister MJ looks at cake and the television
Phyllis yelling at Dr Godfrey😂
PATS’S FACE OF DISGUST IS ALSO ME
HOW DO THESE WOMEN GIVE BIRTH STANDING/SITTING UP?? AHHHH
There you are Beatrix, it’s been a while
Patsy being suspicious with the card game line lol. but when is Trixie going to find out about Patsy and Delia?
SHE RIPPED OUT HER WOMB?! WTF OMG IM SCREAMING

“There are flowers on the table, and feathers in these pillows, that’s all the nature I need to get back to” I feel you Patrick lol, I like nature but not camping
Lol remember Shelagh’s old nightgown? ah I don’t miss it. The bri nylon is such a look™ & obviously has magically powers i.e this miraculous conception.
“..or they’ve been mulled to death by squirrels” IM DEAD HAHA THAT WAS A GOOD DAD JOKE, NICE ONE PATRICK
aw the baby is so precious
Why is the operating room/being in surgery called theatre in the U.K.?? and why is the doctor’s office/practice called the surgery? so many questions from a confused American..
Sister MC by the docks😭💔 she was just chillin with God and THIS HORRIBLE MAN RUINS EVERYTHING WTF UGH
Oh no
SISTER MC JUST UNCONSCIOUS ON THE DOCKS WTF IM CRYING WHY WOULD HURT HER
Patrick even if you were there she wouldn’t have called you, don’t blame urself
it’s not your arrogance sister MC!!
“don’t you even say the word fault, do you hear me, I won’t allow it” 😭💔 it’s NOT your fault sister MC 😰

“I thought at first it was a test of faith, but it was a test of strength. I can bear more than I ever though I could and I can bear it for others because my strength is a gift, from him..” brb sobbing
I feel so bad for Mrs Hills bc I understand she thought she was doing the right thing and was trying to protect her daughter from the stigma & judgment from having a baby born outta wedlock 😭
But damn she almost killed her & now she can’t have any more kids
“I’m a mum, mum” Aw

Im so proud of her omg. She’s come so far in 6 series 😭💖💖😭
And Patsy and Delia are supportive yess👏🏼
“New truths were being spoken at Nonnatus house, but some remained concealed. While one voice rose, striving to erase its agony in song.”
Thanks Vanessa,, The End 😭
