“I want to watch Lilo and Stitch!” Oikawa protested, making a grab for the remote.
“You watched Lilo and Stitch last week,” Ushijima countered, holding the remote out of Oikawa’s reach.
“Yeah, so? There is no such thing as seeing Lilo and Stitch too much.”
“I disagree, but even so my point stands. You’ve seen it recently. I want to watch this,” he said, hovering over his selection on the screen. Oikawa glanced over to see what it was.
“Finding Nemo? The great Ushijima Wakatoshi, number one ace in Japan, wants to watch Finding Nemo?”
“You were literally just trying to put on Lilo and Stitch.”
“We’re not talking about me, we’re talking about you. I didn’t know you liked Disney movies, Ushijima-chan,” Oikawa said, jabbing Ushijima in the ribs.
“Everyone likes Disney movies.”
“Okay, that’s fair. But still, Lilo and Stitch is better! We should totally watch it!”
“I have the remote, and I’m putting on Finding Nemo,” Ushijima said, elbowing Oikawa out of the way when he tried to make a grab for the remote again.
It was time for desperate measures. Oikawa pinched Ushijima’s side, right where he knew he was most ticklish. Ushijima flinched inwards, trying to shove Oikawa’s arms away, but he only continued his assault, fingers dancing up and down Ushijima’s sides relentlessly. Sure enough, it was no time at all before Ushijima was reduced to incoherent, wheezing protests amidst his uncontrollable giggles. Seconds later he dropped the remote as he tried to fend off the attack, and Oikawa snatched it up.
“Aha! Victory is mi--” he froze mid-sentence, trailing off as he registered the expression on Ushijima’s face.
“You promised,” Ushijima said, his mouth hanging slightly open as his brows drew together in an expression of utmost hurt and betrayal. “I… I trusted you not to use that against me.” He looked away from Oikawa abruptly, pushing his arms aside as he stood up, making for the door.
“Ushi--wait!” Oikawa cried. “Shit, I’m sorry! I’ll never do it again, I promise!”
Ushijima looked at him straight-faced for about two seconds before he burst into hysterical laughter.
“I was joking, Oikawa,” he wheezed. “God, you should have seen your face!” Ushijima pressed a hand over his mouth to muffle his continuing giggles as Oikawa scowled at him.
“You bastard, I thought you were really upset! Just for that, we are totally watching Lilo and Stitch.”
“Worth it,” Ushijima said, still chuckling. “Admit it, I totally got you.”
“Sorry, what?” Oikawa said loudly. “I couldn’t hear you over the sound of I won.” He brandished the remote dramatically as he hit play on Lilo and Stitch.
“Fine, but we’re watching Finding Nemo next,” Ushijima said, sitting back down.
Oikawa heaved an exaggerated sigh. “Okay, fine.”
“Why are you acting all put out? We’re watching your movie first.”
Oikawa shushed him noisily. “Shut up and watch the movie, Ushijima-chan,” he said, curling against him and resting his head in the crook of Ushijima’s shoulder.
